Gente de Reddit, necesito su ayuda. Este año ingresé a una universidad muy buena y estoy orgulloso de ello. La universidad es bastante exigente, y mi familia está pagando por mis estudios con mucho esfuerzo. Por este motivo, quería concentrarme totalmente en mis estudios y no buscaba una relación de pareja. El primer día de clases, nos presentamos ante todos, y la conocí a ella. Me pareció linda, pero no le di mayor importancia porque estaba enfocado en mis objetivos.
Después de la primera hora de clases, tuve la oportunidad de hablar con ella y otros compañeros. Sentí una conexión inmediata y muy especial. Fuimos a la biblioteca en grupo, pero cuando me alejé para buscar otros libros, me di cuenta de que ella me seguía. Fue un momento muy especial, nos quedamos ahí sin decir nada, dejando que nuestras miradas hablaran por nosotros. Pasamos el día hablando, y aunque supe que venía de una buena familia, decidí que no quería tener nada serio con ella, a pesar de que me gustaba mucho.

I always play on deity and my games always come down to winning in the modern era because the ai is dumb and cant handle planes and nukes. Its seems always necessary to prevent one civ winning science or culture by deleting them or severely weakening them. However i get really bored from lategame civ because of several reasons: - any turn takes way too long - micromanagement for your thousand cities feels unnecessary as it wont really impact the outcome of the game anyway - moving/attacking with planes is a pain in the *** since civ always wants to move your camera to a different spot. - war is not really interesting/challenging and your just slowly bombarding them with planes or nuking them. - it feels like my win con got outscaled and i have to warmonger to save myself.
I always somehow force myself to finish the run because i spend so much time on it and came to love my empire. But the wins dont feel earned as it wasnt my strategy or decision making that won and rather me abusing the ai.

Sobre los últimos días de Quiroga Sobre los últimos días de Quiroga se cuenta una versión biográfica que desde hace un par de décadas sé, es un total artificio. En efecto, Quiroga fue interno del Hospital de Clínicas, antiguamente Hospital General de Hombres, cuando se encontraba ya moribundo. Mi amigo, el doctor Mariano Chaves, pariente del eminente clínico Gregorio Chaves, y encargado del Servicio de Clínica de Hombres durante las décadas de 1930 y 1940, se encargó de la atención del escritor y me contó la verdadera historia de los hechos que anteceden a su muerte. Por supuesto, Chaves disponía de una copia mecanografíada de la historia clínica de Quiroga y del informe policial, posteriormente emitido, para sustentar sus dichos. Según me confesó, por alguna extraña influencia, el escritor fue ingresado al Clínicas bajo el diagnóstico públicamente conocido, es decir, el de cáncer prostático avanzado. Sin embargo, su comportamiento maníaco y los extraños ataques epilépticos nocturnos que sufría, desconcertaron a Chaves, por lo que solicitó se le practicara una punción lumbar. Este procedimiento diagnóstico reveló el verdadero cuadro que padecía: una antigua y cronificada meningitis cerebro espinal, enfermedad que en aquel momento era común en Buenos Aires, presentándose de forma epidémica. Y esta infección fue, en efecto, según Chaves, la causa del agravamiento maníaco del escritor, que con el correr de las semanas solía escaparse del nosocomio y deambular por la ciudad de Buenos Aires. Como fruto de uno de estos episodios fue que surgió la historia ficticia e idealizada del encuentro entre Quiroga y Vicente Batistessa, paciente elefantiásico supuestamente recluido en el sótano del Clínicas debido a su horrible aspecto. Chaves me reveló que, en realidad, Quiroga se internó a través de un pasadizo subterráneo, cuya entrada en la superficie estaba situada en alguna sala o depósito oculto del Clínicas, que conducía directamente a uno de los laboratorios secretos de Hans Metzler emplazado en el subsuelo de la Escuela de Medicina. Allí, presa del horror, Quiroga se encontró con varios sujetos de prueba del médico alemán, que se hallaban prisioneros en sacos de líquido amniótico o jaulas de hierro, y que habían sufrido espantosas modificaciones quirúrgicas o metabólicas, conservando solo un nebuloso reflejo de humanidad. Oggi vorrei togliermi un paio di sassolini dalla scarpa su alcune proposte fatte circolare dal governo italiano in merito alle auto elettriche: “Tecnici del Mef al lavoro per una strategia destinata a traslare la tassazione dai carburanti ambientalmente dannosi ai nuovi propulsori green”. Ma come, invece che seguire l’esempio cinese, che da decenni pompa sussidi statali per incentivare la transizione ecologica, l’occidente studia modi per spremere gli acquirenti di queste tecnologie come un limone?
Ma scusate, allora a che cavolo servono i grandi proclami fatti dai parrucconi di tutto il mondo alle riunioni della COP? (che non è il supermercato sotto casa) Per carità, anche il Paese a stelle e strisce soffre di memoria corta: quando Trump, da presidente, impose pesanti dazi alle auto elettriche cinesi, eravamo tutti a strapparci i capelli per questa decisione scellerata. Ora Biden fa pure di peggio (dazi del 100%, una cosa assurda) ed i giornali neppure ne parlano, e le promesse alla COP sono solo un lontano ricordo, tutto in nome del solito portafogli.

Già, perché mentre l’abitante di Oslo ha uno stipendio che gli consente di permettersi di acquistare l’auto elettrica e paga la corrente pochi centesimi, l’abitante di Siracusa non può dire la stessa cosa, e non dispone di una rete capillare di colonnine che rendono l’elettrico possibile e conveniente.
