 | So I got the "John Wick 69 Mustang" set from Veux Toys this past week and I was finally able to put it together. submitted by knightwynd to buildingblocks [link] [comments] As the set came in... Visually the box set looks great. It has a nice sleeve with a black box inside. The set outside of the package. Inside the box... Inside there are the instructions along with several brick bags which were not numbered, and one pouch holding the minifigure along with the black dog, a pistol, an assault rifle, and a black stand. \"Dog\" and John Wick (armed) Contrary to what you see on the sleeve, the minifigure does not come with a coin, nor is the vehicle lighted, but these are minor details. Assembling the vehicle was the more challenging part of this. The instructions were easy at first, but in certain places there were steps that were not shown. This was particularly true when it came to the front and rear fender assemblies as well as the doors. I was also missing several key bricks, including four for the door assembly that were not in the instructions. Thankfully I have plenty of spare LEGO bricks, but I had to spend a considerable amount of time going through my bags of spares to find the missing pieces I needed. The final assembly The final assembly was, to say the least, challenging. As you can see, I was not able to get the right bricks for some of the places. Some of the bricks would not fit in place securely so I was having to rebuild some spots over and over. The posts for two of the wheels did not fit securely in the hubs so the wheels keep falling off. It's a good thing I'm planning on using this as part of a display, so it won't have to do any moving about. I'll just need to find the missing bricks to finish the build before I put it in the case. As it is, it's a nice box set as long as you don't plan on putting it together. |

Hello, new to reddit apologies if not correct place to post but looking for advice. Dog stepped in a small piece of glass and is stuck in paw. Only seems to be affecting him when walking on cement but still needs to be removed incase of infections etc. Have called the vets but no appointment until possibly Tuesday, i am keeping him mostly indoors as he doesn't seem to bothered on grass, his eating and energy all okay. My problem is he is a 9 year old rehomed German shepherd. He was abused and neglected by previous owners so last 3 years has been learning social skills etc but he is very reactive. I tried to muzzle him as its something i could remove myself but he won't stay still and his anxiety is up the wall. He may need to be sedated in vets for them to remove it, removing it should be easy enough but i am worried about how reactive he is. If not muzzled, he would bite in this situation given affected area does hurts when touched only. I have a pet plan for him but doubt it will help. I've also takwn senior rehomed dogs but he is the first wirh such behavioural issues based on his past. Anyone have experience with village vets and getting their animal sedation for something like this? Appreciate any advice, this dog is my friend so will do whatever necessary but also have limited funds. Thanks all

I rarely dream and when I do dream they’re not memorable. These past 2 nights I’ve dreamt and remembered both dreams. The second one will be longer only because I remember more from that one.
Backstory: I’ve been staying at my sisters friends house cat sitting. I don’t particularly like this person but it’s good money, maybe that’s a detail? Idk
First dream: I’m at my grandmothers (in hometown 2 hours away) when I hear a big commotion and I run outside to find packs of dogs, all different breeds. My best friend (lives in hometown) is walking them down the street to get adopted. Keep in mind this is at least 40 dogs. I called out to the dogs and one ran up to me. An orange husky puppy. He just ran up to me and started loving on me. I told my friend that I was stealing him and not paying for him jokingly. That’s what I did though, I stole him and took him back home. I knew I could take him because I knew she’d be ok with it.
Second dream: I’m at my old apartment where I grew up but I’m an adult still living with my mom. I don’t see my mom in the dream, I just know she’s there sleeping in her room. I feel something sharp at my chest and I look in my shirt. There’s a hornet. I start to panic but keep calm. I try to take my shirt off but I feel something go up my nose so I pull my shirt back down and plug my nose and it crawls out of my nose back down into my shirt. Now that I know it’ll do that I’m scared to take my shirt off so I run outside and try to find my friend (I don’t know this girl in real life, I just know she’s a friend in my dream). I find her on the sidewalk walking her dog looking all disheveled, probably drunk. She said she was out at an event and just got home. I told her what was happening and she just stared at me. This didn’t help me at all and I became frustrated with her. I can feel the hornets in my bra and armpits. Just tiny little pinpricks. They never one pierced my skin and stung me, they just slept there, and nested there. Finally I said f it and threw all my belongings on the sidewalk. I started to take my shirt off again and they went up my nose again. I pulled my shirt back down. I get really frustrated, I don’t think I’ve ever been frustrated in a dream before. I saw what looked like a big calling box they have at indoor building apartments (even though this was outdoor apartments), it had one button on it and a camera. I realized I would’ve been on camera if I took my shirt off so I stepped into the breezeway. This is where someone brings a whole hornets nest. I don’t know who this person was in real life or in my dream. They handed it to me and walked away. I hung it on staircase railing. I stared at it for a little bit. FINALLY, I get the courage to actually start. Before I start my friend starts to record me on her phone (which is weird because if I didn’t want to be on camera in front of the building why would I want to in the hall? lol) so I turn around as I start the process. I calm myself completely. I don’t think I’ve ever been this calm. I try a new way to take my shirt off. I take my arms out first, then slowly move it over my head. It works. They start to fly around a bit and I’m startled for a second. I slowly walk like 10 feet to the nest and get an inch away from it. One hornet touches the nest then comes back to my chest and communicates to all the hornets that home is right there. They slowly start to fly out of my bra and armpits. They finally all reach the nest safely, the first wasp that alerted all the others flies back and lands on my arm. I close my eyes for the impacts but then I feel something soft. I open my eyes and there’s a freaking black and white cat on my arm. I am apparently not startled by this and I nuzzle my head with his head. It then “went home” to the nest. The best started glowing yellow and then I woke up. I woke up with so much anxiety. I was shaking.
The second dream just freaked me out. It didn’t help that after I woke up I went to the bathroom and as I was leaving I turned the light off. Then I turned it back on because I was scared. It turned on then off then flickered a little bit until I turned it back off. It freaked me out and felt like I had a ghost or something. I started to wonder if I was being haunted in this house since it’s so foreign to me. Then I started to wonder if the ending of the second dream with the cat…was supposed to be the cat I’m watching because they’re both black and white, this one is mean though. (I think the whole dream had something to do with my anxiety. I feel like I hold back a lot. )
Here is my small interpretation of the second dream: i have no close friends here, so maybe that’s why I didn’t know the people in the dream. I have a lot of anxieties that hold me back and I need to face them. I don’t need to question my life, I just need to live it. I have a pretty professional job and when I’m driving I’m on camera and when I’m in the buildings I stop at there’s a cameras, so when I go home I always feel like I’m being watched because I’m being watched all day at work. Maybe I need to make pease with my hometown, my mom is still mad I moved 2 hours away and it’s been almost 2 years. I live with my sister and her family, maybe I get anxiety living with them? I feel like I’m good with them though.
I looked up a bunch of things from both dreams. I know that no one knows me personally on here so a lot of detail is probably not given. I’d just like opinions, also I needed to tell someone about my dream. It was 5 am when I started writing this, it’s now 7am. If you have any questions please ask and I’ll try my best to answer. I feel like I’m overthinking everything and maybe these dreams mean absolutely nothing…but I really feel like they have meanings. Also sorry if everything is so chaotic, I just needed to get everything out.

i will never have another dog that has comforted me through the darkest times in my life, i realized this last weekend when my family went to visit a shelter dog. My childhood dog has been gone for a month and that number will never get smaller. She’s gone.
How many times have I written about this? in journals? my notes app? It’s only been a month. I don’t know if i’ll ever get over this though. She was my baby. At the same time my sibling. Taking care of her kept me going. Coming home to her kept me coming back. I move into my first apartment next year. I keep thinking about how nice it would’ve been if she could’ve seen it. not that she would have realized the significance, I just, really wanted her there. Im stuck. I dont know if i need to vent, need advice or words of encouragement but I am ashamed to say that today I stood in front of my partner with my head down and crying while he berated me like a child after I told him about something the dog damaged.
I was nearly going to throw up and have a panic attack at the thought of telling him because I knew exactly how it would happen and low and behold it was exactly that.
There is no safe space and I hate how he makes me feel about myself. I remember standing there as 6yo me when my parents were doing the same thing. I'm a 38F so very much not a child.
How can someone work on childhood trauma and begin to heal if the environment they are trying to heal from is that exact space?
I've begged, pleaded, and tried a million ways for this man to understand but nothing is going to change.
I left the house and returned to him drunk and telling me that I am controlling him by crying. He then assumes that he knows exactly why I am upset and keeps pushing me until I raised my voice saying that is not what I am thinking as a reaction to him.
Suddenly I am now the abuser and he began to yell and when I said that you are upset at me for raising my voice but you are doing the same thing. His words... I don't care, I can do what I want and I don't give a shit about feminity bullshit. Whatever that means.
My head is swimming and I actually don't know what I need right now or how to feel. When he drinks he gets all belligerent and keeps pushing to fight and get a reaction out of me. I walked away from the conversation and said I cannot talk to him when I am feeling the way I am and we can talk later. In his mind, I'm controlling and no doubt he will be back for round 2 later.
My psychologist is on holidays and I don't have anyone close to reach out to so I'm trying to figure out what steps I need to take next for me emotionally and for my children (2 mine 1 ours). Thanks for making it this far.

The little girl that gave her to us was Ella, so Ella was what she was officially named. Over the years, her name has slowly transformed — she sometimes will respond to Ella, but now she mostly responds to Bean, and only to Beanie Baby when my roommate calls her. She has a huge personality that she is very careful with showing to unfamiliar people. This girl has been spoiled rotten since she came to live with me at 5 weeks old, after her mom disappeared. Her mom was a barn cat. Ella came to live with me, my two cats from the same litter that are 4 years older than her, and my dog that was 2 1/2 at the time. My dog, Jasper, has been obsessed with her for her whole life. They love each other so much! I lived in an apartment in a small city when I first brought her home. She was pretty social and friendly as a kitten but kind of slowly stopped being as social with anyone outside of me or my ex-husband. No one had ever been unkind to her, she was just kind of an antisocial girl. In 2019, right after she turned 4, we moved to a much bigger house in the country and she just became a totally different cat. Over the first few months that we lived her, she completely came out of her shell and just showed off her big personality. I used to call her our “pet me with your eyes” cat, but now she was all about making friends. In 2021, my ex and I split. I stayed in the house and invited my best friend to live with me. He moved in and brought his kitty, Zim, and Zim decided immediately that Ella was going to be his best friend. She did not agree for a while, but now, they are almost inseparable. When they can’t find each other, one will walk up and down the hall and yowl in their weird way until the other one comes out, so they can go find a place to snuggle. Zim taught Ella how to have a cat friend and Ella taught Zim how to gallop up and down the hall. Ella loves to gallop full speed down my super long hallway, beg for extra meals, watch ghost bugs, perch in her cat bestie’s tower, snuggle Zim on the chair the two of them claimed, try to force the dog to clean her ears and face, bury invisible things, drink water upside down, eat spray can cheese, and sometimes escape her best friend for alone time. Ella does not like traveling, stepping even one single toe bean outside, moccasins for some reason??, dogs that aren’t her brother-mom, and the fact that she is having much more carefully measured portions of food, because she and Zim got hella chunky and we needed to correct that. She is much slimmer now, but at what cost????? She also will tolerate her dog sister (who lives with dad), but prefers to not be in the same room as her. I am super close friends with my ex’s new wife, and even before that, I was my ex’s primary pup-sitter, since we got her together. Happy birthday, miss Bean! My aunt F(40) and I F(25) agreed to both get an apartment with both of our names on the lease. She was in a rush to get an apartment as she had just had a divorce, and I wanted my own place after moving out of my boyfriend’s parent’s house.
She was in a rush to sign the papers and move in because she had nowhere else to go. Her sister (my other aunt) allowed her to live in her house rent free for a couple months before she needed to look for a place. So once she found out, I was breaking up she took it as an opportunity to get a roommate.
I feel like me being naïve and new to the lease signing process was seen as an opportunity to take advantage. The day of signing the lease they told us that we couldn’t view the unit because it wasn’t ready and I told her that I didn’t sign it because I don’t know what the condition is but she insisted that we do and that we can fix it later, so I did trusting her.
Once we move in, it’s a very old department and we are paying roughly 1,500 in rent. It’s a two bed two bath. It comes with the garage for a single car, which she has claimed since she pays more. She has the master bedroom with a standup shower and a bathtub as well as “his and her sink”. I have the guest restroom, which is just a simple small bathroom with a tub shower, toilet and sink.
Initially, the agreement was the I pay a portion of the rent, electricity and Internet. Her mother, which is my grandmother was trying to help us get us into our own place so sent her $5000 which was supposed to be divided by two which would give $2500 to her and $2500 to me. I didn’t know about this until recently as she hid it and was acting like it was given to her for months, and even made it seem like she was being nice by helping me out since I couldn’t afford some stuff during she furniture shopping. So when we went shopping for the apartment, I tried to help pay for half of groceries and little furnishings that I could afford out of my pocket. When it came to picking out couches, she made it seem like a very carefree experience (not paying attending to price) and was looking for a very big couch that was lavish and when I told her I couldn’t afford it, she said don’t worry Grandmother is helping us out. (but we’re just spending my portion of the money on the couch she wanted) If I had known that MY money was going towards that couch, I would’ve definitely chose a cheaper one and put more thought into selecting it.
I had a gut feeling about the spending and asked my grandmother about the “help she gave us”, she told me the truth: that $2500 should have gone to me, and she’s sorry that she didn’t clarify it soon as she sent it. She thought my aunt would’ve done the right thing and give it to me to help me purchase my furniture for my room. Later she went shopping for a brand new mattress and began shopping for more furniture and decor. Meanwhile, my room is full of free furniture that is used and that I’ve gotten from family members storage and IKEA furniture that I bought out of my own pocket.
I am a full-time student, receiving assistance from the gov receiving 1400/month as a Veterans dependent. And I also do commissions on the side to make extra money. So I live very frugally naturally and am a minimalist tbh and yes I CAN afford bills and own groceries. I’ll also watch all her animals while she’s out of town for free (2 cats and 1 dog). I only have one cat and often clean the whole apartment, including helping her with her laundry that sits in the washedryer. Since i see it as a contribution and helping her out.
The agreement has changed in the past four months that I’ve lived with her. We are 4 months into a 14 month lease. She pays $1200 a month for rent, I am responsible for everything else. That being: whatever is left of rent, water, electricity, Internet, and I have to pay for my own parking every month at the apartment we stay (she gets garage so she doesn’t have to pay parking)
Lately she’s been asking me if I’m going to get a job and to start contributing more towards the rent, which caught me off guard as I thought we had already come to an agreement on the rent/bills situation before signing the lease and revisiting about a month ago. Right now I’m roughly paying $600-$700 in utilities and rent combined. If it gets more expensive and bills go up I am responsible for the overages and she seems to like to leave the AC low and lights on. She’ll leave her clothes in the washer and forget to throw them in the dryer and end up washing them again. The same thing with the dryer. Even if it’s dry she’ll, have to redry it to “freshen it up”.
I’m also probably undiagnosed OCD, my only complaint to her is to be clean and at least keep common areas tidy. She likes to leave things in the sink overnight, dump her weeks worth of coffee cups that she brings from work in the sink and leave them for hours. Her dog will pee around the apartment and I find it after it dries up and becomes sticky after I step in it. I’ve mentioned these issues before, but she seems to shrug them off and give me excuses.
I’ll leave for days at a time and give her a notice on when I leave and come back because I know I am leaving my cat with her, but I make sure he always has food and I come by and check on him, clean litter box and tidy up around the place if I’m staying at my boyfriends, which is only 20 minutes away. She complain the fact that I’m gone too long. And when I’m at the apartment, it seems to bother her that I do school from home and can work from home doing commissions. I’m an introvert.
She is a shopping addict and is in debt and also runs a business that is in the red, she has no children and she seems to be living above what she can afford. Her ex husband is needing help financially and I think it’s affecting her financially. In the end she’s asking for me to help her as she is struggling with her lifestyle, relationship, and business.
Some people might say that my situation isn’t that bad or that I’m overthinking, but since this is a family member, it’s hard to set boundaries as well as stand up for myself when I respect her as an aunt.

My dog, he’s about 4-5 the shelter was unsure of his age exactly, was moved shelter from shelter plus survived parvo & Lyme. Which means he had to be isolated for at least 3 weeks in the shelter for the parvo, I gave him antibiotics for the Lyme due to the shelter “missing it.” So basically when I got him, he was not labeled aggresive at all, which I’m totally aware aggression is always a risk you’re taking with an animal. But the point being, I got him and he was sooooo chill…because he was sooooo sick and almost dead. I’d walk him and he’d walk a few steps and just sit down :(. 3 days of antibiotics and he changed entirely. He became entergetic, playful etc . Don’t get me wrong my dog isn’t mean, I just genuinely think he’s been through some shit. Like when I do laundry, I lift hangers to put them in clothes and he gets scared. He’s scared of knives too, which I think is so odd for a dog to be scared of a blade. And he hates meeting new people, going to the park is super hard, and the vet is incredibly difficult. He has to be muzzled & medicated for the vet. Another thing is when I leave for work he’s in a kennel, he’s a small, maybe considers medium dog? He’s 25 lb and in a kennel large enough for a German Shepard. Lots of toys, blankets etc. I had to get a $300 hunting dog kennel for him because the other kennels despite being big enough, he kept breaking out of. When he’d break out he’d demolish the house. So I tried leaving him out? I thought maybe he just hated the kennel. So he chewed the doorframe completely off the door. Chewed holes in everything. And it’s not that I’m mad, I mean yea I’m frustrated but god I feel so bad for him. I can’t imagine being so anxious you chew through the doorframe trying to find your mom. I just wanna fix it and I don’t know how.

We had a dog before but he was an older rescue, first time raising a puppy.
It was our first overnight and she's perfect. Mix breed, her family's owner has the older dogs used on pee pads and she uses them well, only had one accident on the floor (once she gets her shots, we'll slowly transition to pee outside but we're in an apartment so I'm not comfortable carrying her out onto the pavement). She sets her boundaries by moving away if she doesn't want to be touched and she settles alone easily once she doesn't feel like playing. The only issue is she will ONLY settle on my bed, which is too high for her to jump to, even with smaller steps placed there. And she does seem to prefer being alone when she's done playing (she'll move away if you sit next to her). She doesn't seem to mind you leaving the room, she's food motivated but she'll leave her own food bowl alone if she feels full.
I'm wondering am I overthinking? I worry she's too lethargic, maybe too anxious because she's away from the home she knew? Should I wait longer before worrying? I'm so new at this, I don't want to think I'm blessed with a calm puppy just to find out later she's just depressed haha. She does turn on her back and ask for belly rubs so I don't think she's that on guard but sometimes every little noise startles her and I worry.

Hi I need advise my grandpa's sister aunt Tina (not her actual name no offense to any Tina's) has pissed me off greatly you see her and her first daughter her son in law along with her grand kids and my great grand mother came to our town I'm not terribly close to her but we used to be Im closer to her two daughters but she came down to help my great grand mother go through her stuff and some back story her and my grandpa's step mother my granny died when I was 7 but before I was born my mom was promised the kiln and bisque ware for pottery and stuff well I would ask my granny if I could paint the ceramics but she didn't have paint for them so there is sentimental value. We where supposed to get them, but after my granny and great grandpa died my aunt Tina wouldn't let my mom take the kiln saying it was ruined cause one of my great grandparents dogs would pee on it well this was blatant lie my mom caught but she didn't want to argue and my grandpa is tired of fighting his sister. But when we went to visit my aunt was talking to my mom while I was out of the room saying she was going to fire up the kiln again and had gone behind my mothers back asking my grandpa for the pottery wheel he had bought for my mom and I quote " we wouldn't need it since we would be moving into a trailer" mind we're gonna buy land at the coast but my aunt had foolishly told my mother this luckily my mother hadn't heard it from grandpa. But the fact she did NOT asked my mother before she asked my grandpa. This stuck my mom in a nerve as she was very close with my granny and so was I she had already been frustrated earlier today and this pushed her over edge she didn't sleep last night which is dangerous since she works a long night shift and has to drive a long way and there's a ton of wildlife at night but what's worse is this caused her to snap at me excessively yelling a little and she called me a few hours ago telling me she was sorry for snapping she was hurt and frustrated. My mother doesn't cry very often unless she's hurt or extremely frustrated and she was both so after explaining she began to cry in her work parking lot and I'm very protective of my mother and grandmother, so this ticked me off cause this isn't the first thing my aunt's done she's caused damage to sentimental items before. For example my granny had a beautiful sunset moth in a terrarium she had my aunt took off the protective glass dome and filled it with news paper leaving the Sunset moth uncovered which caused it to get damaged and disintegrate into dust. My granny also had these collectible crystal and gemstone eggs and I was the only great grand child that met granny but also no one else wanted them but she still tried to divide them among the family when that was the only thing I asked for, but not only did her and my biological great grandmother say she wasn't apart of the family when she tried to give her opinion in a FAMILY matter and I'm tired of her toxic and passive aggressive behavior towards my side of the family and I'm very tempted to confront her over the phone tomorrow and give her an ultimatum of either respecting my family and giving back what is rightfully theirs or not talk to me every and not knowing any future children I have in the far future. Should I do it what are your suggestions please in need help

this is going to be long. so i am currently 24. me and my boyfriend started looking for houses in january, our lease ended in march. the housing market has been terrible, and we have fallen through on many houses. we are now closing on a house this thursday, however for the time being, my parents offered for us to stay here until we’re in a house. we’ve been here since the beginning of march. this is where my issue/venting comes in.
my mom has the absolute weirdest rules. which is fine!!! you know it’s her house, i’m following them since im living here, but there’s so many and it’s really hard to keep up with them. things like: don’t leave the sponge with any soap on it. keep the bathroom door open all the way at all times. ask her if she needs to use the bathroom before you use it. the dishwasher needs to be done exactly the way she likes. let them know if we’re going to get dinner, and if we go ANYWHERE (coffee, gas station) we’re expected to bring them something back or we’re met with “well that would’ve been nice to know, what if i wanted something?” you get it!!! there’s a lot more but i’m trying to make this as short as possible. that’s a lot right?? which again, is fine, however, if we mess up and forget one, CAPITAL PUNISHMENT! and it’s not even reasonable reactions like “hey, i’ve told you i like it this way, please try to remember”. no. it’s a HOW MANY TIMES DO YOU NEED TO BE TOLD SOMETHING-
i am getting over a kidney infection, and the meds i was on made me borderline piss my panties. i had to pee, but she needed to pee, so she was slamming doors and mumbling. my boyfriend plays a good bit of video games, which he does on his day off while still being productive, and she is constantly nagging about how all he does is play video games and she thinks it’s rude blah blah. my boyfriend brought me home flowers and a gift on a day that i was having a really hard time. she literally said “you know i like surprises too.” 😃???
i got into it with my stepdad a couple weeks ago, he was going to hit her dogs over something stupid and she was begging him not to, and i stepped in (i shouldn’t have) and basically was like bro don’t. he screamed at me and i screamed back. but he said like really hurtful things like when i leave don’t come back, “fuck you”, etc, YOU GET IT !!! we didn’t speak for awhile because a 50 year old man isn’t gonna talk to me like that. tell me why she has sided with him, and even blamed ME for the things he said.
this is getting long, there’s so much more, but like, im torn. i have tons of outside stress. closing on a house, work, im in the middle of a divorce. am i ungrateful? i have done everything she wants me to do. i am trying my hardest. every time she gets passive aggressive on me i am nice and apologetic and i just feel so much anxiety over this because i am so extremely appreciative of them. any and all advice is welcome!!

The kitchen, 2 living rooms, 2 bathrooms, laundry and hallway are all tiled, I have a step from the main house down to one of the living rooms that I will have to build a ramp for. There is one plush carpet in the living room and the 4 bedrooms have semi plush carpet. There are two inside only cats in the house, one sheds ALOT and we will be getting dogs later down the line. Hello THT team I love your podcast it's my favorite! I am 25f and live happily with my husband and our 4 furr babies. Me and my husband both work at a bakery together.
So for a few years I've had back pain it never seemed too serious to me just take an advil do some yoga or stretches. A lot of people have back pain. In fall it started to worsen but also my legs I thought maybe I started to have arthritis it runs in my family my mom and grandma got it at around my age. I have a fear of the doctor I went hundreds of times as a kid, mainly for allergies. I went though in October the doctor kinda brushed me off like we'll run a blood test, heres meds, and treated me like I'm young so I'm fine. Blood test came back good. I should have went back to another doctor and I should have signed up for insurance but it seemed too expensive at the time I live tightly paycheck to paycheck. I can't focus on should've and could've though I can't change it. My husband has told me over and over that i should see another doctor out of care but I say i will and procrastinate. I am always very much like the meme with the dog surrounded by fire no matter what I'm just like I'm fine.
Now over the past few months i started to have a harder time walking and the pain worsened. A few days ago I went to the doctor and was told I likely have a spinal injury and need an MRI as soon as possible. 3 years ago I was in a T-bone car accident I was told at ER i was fine just scraped and bruised, i suppose the injury has just now gotten worse. I won't know anything until my scans come back. I could tell the doctor was sugar coating and trying not to concern me but I could see the concern on his face. He strongly recommended i get a cane because I walk unstable now. My mind raced I felt numb I felt stupid like I hadn't taken good enough care of myself, I understand I could loose my ability to walk, I could be paralyzed even if just partially, it could affect my brain, my whole lifes hopes and plans could change so much. After the doctor me and my husband went to pick up my meds and a bit of food at the store. There i was 25 ,walking with a cane tears streaming down my face, people staring at me, trying to process everything. I am so lucky and glad to have my husband he is the best support and comfort.
