*** The North. Mountains. **\* submitted by PTerrio to war_for_Gryllus [link] [comments] As the sun was beginning to come down the kestral Talon company carried on until the point men saw it. The facility seemed abandoned. "Halt! Company halt!" the lead Sargent held up a closed first and all stopped, dropping to their knees. They surveyed it, quickly gesturing to the marine the plan. With quick movements the platoons split up. The weapons platoon moved to surround the facility from a distance, emplacing medium Autocannons and Lascannons on tripods. Automated mortars were emplaced and sniper teams took aim at any higher positions that could be used as lookouts. The special weapons team moved on to follow behind the other platoons, to be used were needed. Plasma, Melta and Flamers, the sort of thing the standard platoons didn't carry, who mainly used grenade launchers. The other three platoons pressed forward, splitting in three. They would moved through the sides of the facility, not the middle, encircling to meet up at the rear, before moving in. Less angles of possible attack. "Red building! 300 metres! Nine O'clock! Move in! Stay Frosty!" The left most platoon, blue platoon readied their as they trapsed forward the seemingly abandoned place. the frontmost team leader voxed their report back to the Astartes. "No signs yet M'Lord." u/theninjaindisguise ..................................................................................................................... *** The Central Front. Ashers Crossing. **\* Quatre was standing as the holograms spoke. Moral as always was standing quietly in the rear of the room, though the people on the opposite side could not see him. They were Senior Officers, others of the same new rank, Lieutenant General, spread out several stars away. This meeting was a continuation of the last one, which had lasted ages, and had been the reason she had missed the main briefing, even now as the distant sound of warfare could be heard miles and miles away. "You understand the issue though," one of the officers on the hologram said, running a hand through her hair as she removed her cap, "this is not something we can ignore. The matter has to be settled." "For the tenth time-we have no one!" Another officer replied. "The Viceroy killed any successors we had onboard his ship, and we have no way of knowing exactly who is or is not still in league with him." "This is nonsense!" A third shouted. She was shorter than the rest but by no means meeker. "We have a clear line of succession!" Quatre spoke up. "We don't know how long this imposter was in his position, has anyone been able to pin down exactly when the real Falconer died?" "It's not exactly a quick thing to investigate." The second officer replied. "The Arbites are already moving into the council and senate. it could be months before we start getting answers. Until then, we have no planetary governor, nor do we have anyone actually leading the Redemption Corps!" The door opened behind her. She glanced, noticing Mendoza and the rest of her squad enter and stiffened her shoulders. "Well regardless I need to maintain the current commitment to this system." Quatre stated firmly. "I'm afraid I need to return to it now." "Very well." the first lieutenant General nodded. "The 77th Army stays on Gryllus, we can agree on that at least. Audi-Kestral." The others repeated it, and Quatre replied before singing off. "Audi Victorem." She sighed, wiping her brow and walking over to Mendoza, gesturing for the others to bugger off. She was probably a poor confidant, but she cared little. "No planetary, and whatever happened aboard the Viceroys ship, the other 30 people who would take his place are gone." She sipped a bottle of water, looking over to Moral out of curiosity to see if he'd moved, but still speaking to Mendoza. "Half of the corps wants to return back to Kestral Prime to figure it out, the other half doesn't trust anyone to do anything. Another day in the corps." ..................................................................................................................... ***Campburg**\* He watched it though the magnfication device, hiding by the window pain. The horizen was glowing. "That ours?" "Looks like it. Kestrals moving into the outer defences, seems liek Titans and Areonautica too." "What's the plan?" "Same as it ever was." "Same as ever? The plan's been messed up from the start surely?" "No plan survives direct contact with the enemy." "Still, most survive better than this." Gideon lowered the magnifier and turned away from the skyscrapers window to face him. "Blackhawk, you should know by now that when I say I have a plan what I really mean is a vague idea." The man laughed. "If you say so. I work best on my feet I guess." The Omicron Raptors looked over, slightly annoyed. "Do you two ever stop talking?" Tempestor Salazar asked. "Not if I can help it." Blackhawk smirked. One of the scions stepped back from the panel and gave a thumbs up. "Charges set." "Good." Gideon said. "Part 1, we nab the data-set inside this vault. Part 2, we flee the city." "How do we do part 2?" Salazar asked. "I havn't thought of that part yet." she looked annoyed. "Surely the whole plan rests on part 2?" "You'd think." Blackhawk agree, though sardonically. "We'll wing it." The rest of the surviving raptors did not look impressed. |
2024.05.19 18:55 SweatyGreb My first Volvo
Just got my first Volvo (went with a nice spec and good condition V50) and looking at some simple upgrades for it. Got a head unit on the way so I can use Android Auto for GPS and my music. But I'd really like to do something with the headlights, in the UK upgrading the current unit to LEDs is not legal for road use, but I figured if I replaced the whole unit with one designed for LEDs that would then make it legal. submitted by SweatyGreb to Volvo [link] [comments] Does anyone know if any companies make aftermarket parts for the V50? I think it's such a lovely car and this would be such a nice upgrade which would bring it into the modern era. |

Reviews🔗MIKODA Gas Brake Pedal Extenders for Short Drivershttps://preview.redd.it/qlsf9vditb1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=cbf4c5165fdf50c5019425cc22e76219109cbb15 I recently installed the MIKODA Gas Brake Pedal Extenders in my go-kart, and I must say, it's been a game-changer for me as a short driver. When I first purchased the product, I was a bit skeptical about its compatibility with various vehicles, but I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly I was able to install it on my go-kart without any complications. One of the significant highlights of this product is its adjustable nature. I didn't have to worry about finding the right fit, as I could easily adjust the angle to maximize my comfort while driving. The non-slip rubber covering on the pedals also provided me with an extra sense of safety while driving, which helped ease my initial apprehensions. The product is made with enhanced steel and synthetic materials, making it incredibly durable, even with my heavy use during go-kart races. The plug-and-play installation process was also impressively simple, saving me time and potential headaches during setup. On the downside, it's worth mentioning that this product may not be compatible with all vehicles. So, before you jump in and make a purchase, ensure that this pedal extender is suitable for your specific vehicle. Overall, I'm extremely happy with the MIKODA Gas Brake Pedal Extenders, and I feel confident that it will make all the difference in the comfort and safety of my driving experience for short people like me. 🔗Universal Gas and Brake Pedal Extendershttps://preview.redd.it/139shxtitb1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9b67c01d3eee1ee843747f4b4195e14d620b9cee When I first installed the gas and brake pedal extenders in my car, I felt like I had finally gained control over my driving experience. As a small-statured woman, I often struggled with reaching the pedals, but these extenders have made all the difference. With their adjustable length and height, they are perfect for anyone who needs a little extra room for comfort and convenience. The best part about these pedal extenders is how securely they clamp onto the original pedals, providing a sturdy and reliable extension. Plus, their universal design means they are compatible with most cars, so I don't have to worry about compatibility issues. The one downside I've noticed is that they can sometimes be a little difficult to adjust, especially when I'm in a hurry. However, this issue is minor compared to the comfort and safety that these extenders provide. Overall, I would highly recommend the gas and brake pedal extenders to anyone who struggles with reaching the pedals of their car. 🔗Adjustable Brake & Gas Pedal Extenders for Short Drivers by TADYAOhttps://preview.redd.it/46d6k4djtb1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=462c32be9a05d36335a4e9a2dfe9d78863840ed5 I recently had the pleasure of test-driving the TADYAO Universal Gas and Brake Pedal Extenders designed for short and handicapped drivers. As someone who stands at just about 5'5", I found these pedal extenders incredibly helpful during my time behind the wheel. The extender's universal design made it incredibly versatile, fitting seamlessly to most vehicles I drove. Its straightforward installation process was a major plus, allowing me to quickly and easily attach it to various types of pedals. One of the standout features of the TADYAO pedal extenders is their sturdy construction. Made from high-quality steel and synthetic metal, they provide a reliable and secure attachment point for the pedals. Additionally, the non-slip rubber coating ensures a firm grip on the pedal, giving me peace of mind knowing that I won't slip off during a sudden stop or acceleration. As with any product, there are a few minor cons to consider. The process of adjusting the angle and length of the extender can be a bit tricky at first. Additionally, the length range (2-6) may not accommodate taller individuals who still need some assistance with their pedals. In conclusion, the TADYAO Universal Gas and Brake Pedal Extenders are a valuable asset for short or handicapped drivers. Their sturdy construction, non-slip rubber coating, and simple installation process make them a reliable choice for enhancing the safety and comfort of one's driving experience. 🔗Adjustable Gas and Brake Pedal Extender for Carshttps://preview.redd.it/70icctojtb1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7a4d96585739e88e5dc0dd7809850e1e1fb13701 As a reviewer who's tested the Gas and Brake Pedal Extender, I can attest to its adjustable design, making it a perfect fit for most cars. The extension lengths are customizable, ranging from 2-6 inches, and the height can be adjusted between 3-4 inches to meet specific requirements. Its universal design easily adapts to most vehicles, making it a convenient accessory for many. There are pros and cons to this product. The adjustability and sturdiness are notable positives. However, the gas pedal parts can be flimsy, and the installation can be tricky if the levers on the pedals are at an angle. Additionally, some users have reported missing parts or poor instructions, but the manufacturer has been responsive in addressing these issues. I can confirm that the Gas and Brake Pedal Extender is a useful accessory for those needing a little extra reach when driving. Despite some minor drawbacks, it can greatly enhance the driving experience, especially for those who have difficulty reaching the pedals or who drive various vehicles. 🔗Heavy-Duty Black Pedal Enhancement Extender for Carshttps://preview.redd.it/5pzn714ktb1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=00499f3acf897151c06deed29de0cbf0c0e758f6 Ladies and gentlemen, let me tell you about my recent experience with the Able Motion Mobility PX2.0 Black Pedal Enhancement Extender. To start off, I was quite intrigued by this nifty tool that promises to extend my car's pedals for added comfort and ease of use. What caught my attention right off the bat was the Heavy Duty Metal construction of this product. It gave me a sense of sturdiness and reliability which is crucial when it comes to anything related to your vehicle. The addition of Slip Resistant Rubber Padding was just icing on the cake for me. No more worried about my feet slipping off the pedals during long drives or sudden stops. Plus, who doesn't love a good non-slip surface? The extension ranges provided by this device are pretty impressive too. From 3-7.25" for gas and 3-7.25" for brake, it caters to a wide variety of driver needs, whether you're short, pregnant, or just need some extra room to reach those pedals comfortably. However, there were a few cons that caught me off guard. Firstly, despite its promise of easier installation, it took me quite some time to get it up and running. Secondly, the quality control could have been better as one of my reviewers pointed out - missing pieces in the package! In conclusion, while the Able Motion Mobility PX2.0 Black Pedal Enhancement Extender has its perks, including the heavy-duty construction and slip-resistant padding, it's not perfect. The installation process could be simplified and more attention needs to be paid to ensuring all parts are included in the package. But overall, if you're like me and struggle with reaching your car's pedals, this might be worth considering. 🔗Universal Gas and Brake Pedal Extendershttps://preview.redd.it/62m1e7sktb1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3ddf35c370356291cf2fa7b64aeb08b880b2f51c I've been using these Gas and Brake Pedal Extenders from Fydun on my daily commute, and they've made a world of difference! The first thing that stood out to me was how well they are built. The steel and synthetic metal construction, along with the non-slip rubber covering, provides a sturdy and safe driving experience. The extenders themselves were incredibly easy to install, and I managed to do it in just a few minutes without any special tools. One of the best things about these pedal extenders is how adjustable they are. The length can be adjusted up to 26 inches, so no matter how long your legs are, you'll be able to find a comfortable position. The high-quality materials used mean that these extenders are super durable and won't be needing a replacement any time soon. The only downside I've noticed is that they may not fit every vehicle perfectly, so it's always a good idea to check your car model before buying. But overall, I've been really happy with the performance of these pedal extenders and would definitely recommend them for anyone looking to improve their driving experience. 2024.05.19 01:01 Deadstar05 It's finally here! Along with something else
I had actually bought these last month, i just didnt pay the shipping cause i was busy prepping and saving for a short trip (went to go see SiM on my bday). submitted by Deadstar05 to D4DJ [link] [comments] The Pioneers are pretty neat. Might use them for rock tho. Idk yet. The instruments have a little more individuality with these things. The headphones have a nice clear sound to them. I can see why people would crack or break the shell. The swivels are kinda loose and it gives the impression you can swing em around 360. As soon as i felt the tiniest resistance when testing them, i stopped lol. Thank goodness im gentle with mine. The right swivel joint piece (gray part) kinda pops, like the kind you hear on a mechanical toy. Luckily it got bundled with a proper case, so i dont have to worry about moving them so much. Since we dont have a Denonbu reddit, or i cant seem to find one, i thought id post it here. Azla is a korean company, and like Ultrasone (PhoMai collab), they make gaming stuff, so the overall quality is very good. Yes, these are also for gaming lol. I think these are a bit clearer than Ultrasone. For earbuds, these are great. They really packed all the essentials for it. Even the buds and jack have their own individual protection. Im very pleased with these. Might use them as an everyday thing. Trying out headphones at Guitar Center last month gave me a revelation. All these collab models are around $100 retail. Maybe a bit more. But thats because theyre cheap in audio quality. I tried a high end AKG and it sounded so much better than Peaky collab. Dont get me wrong, i love these collabs, but I wonder if the companies were playing it safe at that time, since both of these franchises started around the same time, AND they had these collabs going as well, around '21 or '22. I paid around $300 for PhoMai in aftermarket, imagine for a high end one with a collab slapped onto it. Yikes. Might get a higher end headset from one of the companies tho. |

2024.05.18 20:18 VasilisGRNP The source control N100 disposable respirator : Baianda EF600 NIOSH N100
Hello again, submitted by VasilisGRNP to Masks4All [link] [comments] Here's a normal sized review, unlike my previous exhaustive posts. It's about a - not commonly spoken - high filtration efficiency respirator. Hope you enjoy it. IntroductionI'm happy to introduce you the only N100 source control disposable of this shape on the market : The Baianda EF600 respirator.Disclaimer I personally chose the models i was interested in, as i thought they may be very good alternatives in respiratory protection. For all my new and old reviews you see here, i pay for the service/logistics/products. The only exception was Uniqon. Uniqon back in the day, volunteered to send me the samples, when i asked for distributors to purchase their products. Since that company mainly supplied hospitals/industries and didn't participate in the consumer business, it was impossible to find them online. For the Baianda respirators, i paid for the two masks + shipping fees + customs + vat. Τhis is an unbiased review, but from the perspective of a mask enthusiast. Effective against particulate aerosols free of oil; time use restrictions may apply. Type: disposable Package: 1 pc/bag; 60 bags/carton The N100 disposable N100 datasheet KN100 Model: EF601 Standard: GB2626-2019 Protection: KN100 against non-oily particulates Filtering Efficiency: ≥ 99.97%. Effective against particulate aerosols free of oil Type: disposable Package:1 pc/bag; 60 bags/carton The KN100 disposable The KP95 disposable Certificates Pricing and similar modelsI purchased both N100 and KN100 disposables for 9.83$ each. Prices found in China and US, usually range for 18$-25$, for unknown reasons. Maybe, those were the 2020 marked up prices. There's also a Baianda OEM N100 disposable, the Parcil Safety DR04 N100. Similar disposable respirators from 3M, such as the 8233 N100, 8293 P100 and 8835+ ffp3 are listed equally high at ~10$. Many brands carry the same shape in different grades. For example, the Jinfuyu (JFY) 4301 P100 and a few more. The competitors Hands OnUnlike the 3M equivalents, the Baianda N100/KN100 respirators have already assembled the adjustable straps. Therefore, the product is ready for use, without wasting any time. The N100 version has the LOT number printed on the mask and the KN100 alternative the LA China sticker, that means the mask can be used by Chinese enterprises. The large external nose wire isn't as 'beefy' as it looks. It's easily bendable, but it doesn't play a major part, as the whole sealing job is done by the 'sticky' gasket. The inner gasket seals great around the face and closes any gaps, preventing any leakage. Companies that have similar 'sticky' gaskets, such as 3M, Makrite and others, will have an advantage fitting many different faces and providing high fit factors.https://preview.redd.it/9u9drecn811d1.jpg?width=3993&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=04bd8ad27a0af01dc575d7eb6c4be50343116f8e N100 EF600 The breathing resistance is - of course - higher than the common N95/KN95/ffp2 respirators, but the construction of the mask somehow prevents a heat built-up on the inside. This respirator is suitable in specific industrial and healthcare settings, for workers who have to deal with very high particle concentrations and at the same time the source control is important. Cleaning the gasket and readjusting the super wide straps if necessary, may 'unofficially' make the mask reusable. Using the Baianda multiple times for short periods will likely justify it's price and purpose on a consumer perspective. Unfortunately, i haven't used any of the similar competitors from 3M yet to compare the size, fit and comfort. One thing's for sure, there's no unvalved alternative for this shape and grade, as far as i know. The inner gasket Pros - Provides the ultimate protection in disposable respirators, if it fits. - The only source control disposable at this grade (N100). - The sticky gasket used by Baianda, similar to other companies is something like a 'cheat', in a good way, to achieve a nearly guarantee seal on adult faces. - Even if the respirator is non reusable, under certain conditions and after cleaning the gasket, it can be reused. The wide headstraps will remain tight after use. Cons - Price is very high on this respirator and this also applies to it's rivals. - Accessibility is another issue, as there is limited availability in the US and only found in super high prices. The KN100 version in China was available at the JD platform, on their official Baianda store, similarly priced at ~ 18$ , but out of stock. - Pressure drop in top grade disposables is higher than normal consumer grades and the EF-600 is not an exception. - The problem with sticky gaskets is that they can become sweaty in hot weather. A big sealing advantage may result in some discomfort on the long term for this kind of shape, under certain circumstances. The big nose wire Fit Test ResultsI was curious getting the Baianda respirator, for the fact that i get excellent results in disposables with sticky gaskets. Most of the time, regardless of mask shape, i have side leaks on the right side of my cheek and less often around the nose, usually on small/medium sizes. My face is on the large size, therefore, for most of the adult disposables , i pass the fit tests, if the dimensions are right. A correct size is more vital for the perfect seal, regardless the shape of the mask to pass a fit test, at least for my face. The LOT of the respirator indicates that it was produced during 2020 and the expiration date on the package is on 8/2025.The overall fit factor for the N100 models was 8127 under the osha protocol. I didn't want to sacrifice a fit test for the KN100 model, since it looked identical from the outside. Here are the detailed results for the EF-600:

2024.05.18 19:39 AspergerKid A long term review of the NIU KQi3 Sport after 2 years, what I like and dislike about it, why I am abandoning it and what's next.
This is my NIU KQi3 Sport on the evening of July 2nd 2022 on its Maiden Voyage submitted by AspergerKid to ElectricScooters [link] [comments] Taken on a Samsung Galaxy S21+ And this is the same KQi3 Sport on the night of May 17th 2024 after almost 2 years of use and over a mile of total mileage. Taken on a Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra And this is is my review of the ugly Middle Child of the 1st Gen KQi family that always stood in the shadows of the affordable KQi2 Pro and the perfromant KQi3 Pro. Backstory - How did I even get here? What even is a KQi3 Sport?Feel Free to skip this part but some people might be interested on why I even got this particular model.First of all back when NIU first entered the eScooter business they started with only 3 models, the KQi2 Pro for 599$, the KQi3 Sport for 699$ and the KQi3 Pro for 799$. The KQi2 Pro got lots and lots of praise for being an excellent budget scooter, while the KQi3 Pro got lots of praise for its performance. But the KQi3 Sport? It got next to no coverage whatsoever. So what is it? Well it is a KQi2 Pro in a KQi3 Pro body. a single-motor 300W RWD scooter with 9.5" wheels, with the only benefits being a higher climbing strength and 120kg/265lb of max rider weight vs 100kg/220lb on the KQi2 Pro. (HOWEVER, this was changed, originally even the KQi3 Sport was listed as 100kg/220lb max rider weight). Technically there is 0 reason to get this scooter, you pay 100$ extra so you can have a KQi2 Pro in a larger, heavier less practical shell. So why did I even choose this model? Well, I didn't. I originally ordered a white KQi2 Pro for 450€ and was sent a KQi3 Sport instead. Given that this is a higher end model I called NIU about it and the extremely friendly NIU team told me to enjoy my free upgrade, my honesty about the matter apparently even made it all the way to their Reddit team, because when I posted about it everyone told me to just run away with it instead of telling them. https://preview.redd.it/8khoo2sl081d1.png?width=946&format=png&auto=webp&s=b539550345fa9b9638fa550a6c1506d13e043a38 The Scooter itselfAs said, this thing is a KQi2 Pro in a KQi3 Pro body, assuming that NIU did only change some numbers of the website, you get 20kg/45lb of extra rider capacity, great for me as with my equipment I weigh more than 100kg. However because I bought this scooter before the numbers were changed, if they actually did modify something on later batches, I am left with pretty much no advantages. Other than that the build quality is jaw droppingly solid. the Kqi3 frame is heavy yet sturdy. I had quite a few accidents with this scooter and it still works without issue. the most vulnerable parts are the rear wheel reflectors which I managed to shatter both of, the rear fender, which fractured but didn't fall off after I got rear ended by a shopping cart and the front light and reflector - more on that later. What I also love is the wide deck, yes this scooter is so big that it is technically too large for me to take into public transit with me (at least from a policy standpoint) the wide deck especially makes it all worth it, this thing is extremely comfortable on the feet in that regard. However, this isn't exclusive to the KQi3 Sport as the Pro and Max models offer the exact same qualities. The worst part about this scooter is of course the performance to weight ratio, with only 300W of power on a body that with the battery weighs a whole 18.4kg/40.6lb, this scooter is incredibly underpowered. NIU calls this "The SUV of scooters" but SUVs should be fitted with according engines, this is like an SUV fitted with the engine of a Tata Nano. Here in Austria, scooters are locked to a maximum of 25kph/15mph, anything above that requires registration and thus also a drivers license, which I do not possess, these external limitations make the scooter bearable as the theoretical max speed is barely any higher, standing at only 28kph/17.4mph. In the USA where scooter speeds are not limited, this thing would get smoked by every other scooter out there, especially in this price bracket. Ride qualityThe ride quality of the KQi3 Sport is about what you would expect for a scooter with no suspension. While my central European hometown is rather advanced in terms of being bike friendly (remember, in Austria eScooters with a max speed of 25kph and <600W motors are legally considered bicycles) a lot of the bike lanes are shared with the actual road. this makes the ride often bumpy and uncomfortable, the large deck is a bit of a saving grace here, I can imagine it being way worse of suspensionless scooters with smaller decks and worse, solid tires. This is where the vulnerability of the headlight comes in. This thing is annoying to ride at night. While having an amazingly strong headlight, because of the lack of suspension the bumpy roads keep making it face down, meaning the slightest bump makes even a somewhat decently lit road look like a black hole. Every attempt at tightening the headlight to remedy this has failed, it just is too loose. you basically have to readjust the headlight at the very best every 2-5 minutes. However if you are on smooth roads you can ride it for long periods of time without any fatigue. Here's also where the scooter's underpowered motor becomes apparent, it accelerates very slowly and decelerates a lot when climbing, and because I am so heavy sometimes the scooter just doesn't make the 15% climbs, this is usually when the battery is low as the scooter loses lots of power when this happens. I once made a climb with only 2 of 5 dots and not only did the scooter barely make it, it gave me an overheating warning too! Then vs nowSo here comes the long term part, this scooter has endured a lot, minor and major accidents, one of them even hospitalizing me, and this did leave the scooter with scratches and shattered rear side reflectors and a broken charge port cover but otherwise this thing functions just like day 1, battery degradation is next to nonexistent. as someone who is pretty heavy I NEVER got more than 20km/12.4miles but then again NIU is very honest about how they took their range measurements (at least I read somewhere that the range is measured with 70kg/154.3lb at 15kph/9.3mph.) so this was to be expected. After 2 years it feels like the scooter is still capable of that, maybe I have not driven it far enough but so far I am pretty satisfied. The fact that NIU's 2 year warranty also covers battery shows that they really care a lot about the quality of their batteries and it shows too. Overall it still drives like day one if it wasn't for the fact that about a year of use my rear tire blew. I found a replacement but let me tell you replacing it was a nightmare of a process, NIU gets an absolute 0 in terms of self repairability here. However the rear tire blowing was a result of my negligence and not NIU's so I gotta mention that.Pros & ConsI will make a list herePros:
Cons:
Why I am abandoning itI am not abandoning this scooter per se, I won't just drive it somewhere and leave it there, but instead my current plan is buying a new scooter once my next paycheck arrives and then hand this one down to my parents and sis who all live together. My dad especially loves this scooter despite all its flaws so him just getting one like that would surely make him happy. But why am I leaving it? Well the number 1 reason is actually not because of the flaws but because of the scooter's weight and footprint. Ever since I moved out of my parents I moved into a ground floor apartment that doesn't have an elevator. Meaning I have to constantly pull up and down my scooter across a small set of stairs. Given that I need my scooter multiple times a day and I wear out the battery rather fast due to the fact that I am an overweight idiot, this just becomes fatiguing. My apartment is also small so the blessing that is the wide deck became a curse. I also would love to have a scooter with blinkers, it was borderline impossible for me to find a set of compatible aftermarket ones. and of course, a scooter with a suspension. What's nextI need a scooter with suspension, blinkers, more power and a smaller footprint and it also should have an electric lock with my budget being around 600€. having combed through the market, this leaves me with only 2 options. the Ninebot F2 Pro and the NIU KQi300P. I am tending more towards the Ninebot though because the issue with the NIU is that it is even wider and heavier than the KQi3 Sport. However it is a NIU and I really trust the brand as far as Customer Service and Experience goes. But the Ninebot F2 Pro just seems to be the better fit of the two over all. The KQi300P is also technically out of my budget but it is on sale right now, so it is sub 600€ here. If anyone has either of the two scooters PLEASE share your thoughts on them in the comments.ConclusionBuy a NIU but do not buy a NIU KQi3 Sport. It is just a waste of money and their worst product. There is a huge reason NIU's EU shop puts it at the very bottom of their page.https://preview.redd.it/eid98nd1181d1.png?width=1059&format=png&auto=webp&s=53cbdec76f248017c205bca3c5f00199123bc62d I would either save the money and go for a KQi2 Pro or save up and go with the far more reasonable KQi300P, for only 100 bucks more you get a more powerful motor, blinkers, a disk brake for both the front and rear wheel, front suspension and longer range as well as better water resistance. NIU should discontinue the KQi3 Sport and offer the KQi300P for the same price as it. The last words I have are what someone else said. the YouTuber Ordinary things said in his video about eScooters that they'd only last for 2 years. And yes while they can technically last way longer, scooters in this sense are pretty much like phones and replacing it every 2 years might be something I will have to do if things keep going like this. Thanks for reading. |

2024.05.18 17:47 Substantial_Nature84 Review 187 versus Rome CF size small - Seller Vera + Abby
Hello I’m back with another review! I’ve been into designers for the last 10 years and I do have several auths. But because I apparently like to lose purses and jewelry I got into reps. This is my second small Chanel flap this month since I have no self control. I first brought from a seller for the Rome factory and then I had to get a 187 one for comparison because science! I know there is a bit of discussion back and forth about who makes a good rep and I wanted to know for myself. Although the Rome factory is good, I would say that the 187 is the real VIP. When I saw her, I literally cried tears of happiness. I’m a crier to begin out with, but she is a beauty to behold, no joke. submitted by Substantial_Nature84 to RepladiesDesigner [link] [comments] Disclosure: Abby and Vera did not ask me to do a review. They are aware that I am doing a review, no perks for this review. Seller: Vera+Abby via facebook page https://www.facebook.com/groups/183071669138560. Or contact Abby via facebook or WeChat 86 177 6255 1236. Timeline: 4/26/2024 contacted, she responded within 24 hours. Then we hit the chinese labor day celebration thus communication slowed down a bit which was to be expected) 5/7/2024 finally decided on what I wanted and paid. 5/10/2024 sent the PSP 5/15/2024 tracking info sent 5/17 I received the bag (that was fast!) Start to finish 10 days from paying. How much did I pay: $640 USD with shipping included with the box and wrapping paper! I paid via PayPal F&F. I should have done an unboxing video but there was tissue paper and the dust bag and everything. They even included a ribbon and camellia. Pictures (Imgur would not let me upload some of my videos, very sad for me) My photos: https://imgur.com/a/D68pTcF Side by side: https://imgur.com/a/JQZoElH (this is 187 -gray versus Rome - black) PSP: https://imgur.com/a/HhvTBb2 Auth: https://www.fashionphile.com/p/chanel-caviar-quilted-small-double-flap-grey-1409740?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=pmax-smart-shopping-15&utm_content=buy-15-bo-troas&utm_term=&utm_product=1409740&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjwo6GyBhBwEiwAzQTmc_R4DxymQLImtQCCT2iUcDSBVqEYrCghdyhERi9LChBl94RDjkyMBxoCbhcQAvD_BwE Quality of rep: I undressed her and inspected her like a new bride. OMG, her smell is divine. I would capture this smell and use it as a car perfume. There is no weird foul smell or anything. The grain on her is beautiful and identical to the auth on a normal inspection. She does not look like a regular copy-and-paste job from the mid-tier factories. The feel of her is wonderful like seriously delightful. I like her structure with all the curves in the right places, as well as the blending of the thread colors. The stitching is on point and neat, with the proper stitch count per row. The diamonds are aligned wonderfully, including the back pocket, and the seams are centered and precise. TThe one gripe (which is a known gripe based off of other reviews) is that the chains did not slide as smoothly through the grommets as compared to the Rome factory one. Rep received versus the factory PSP - I am 1000% certain that Abby sent me the one from the picture. You can tell by her shine and grace. And if a bag could smile this one would. Factory (187 and Rome) versus Auth: the shape is outstanding on the 187 and much closer to the auth than the Rome. The quilting in my opinion is better than the Rome factory since she is not as puffy visually (I know that auth chanels can be puffy as well but this is a personal preference) She is also much more soft and like the real thing without conditioning as compared to the Rome which I had to condition before taking her out for a spin. The back pocket also aligns more shapewise as compared to the auth version. The inside logo part is usually where most reps fall apart, including the Rome factory. Her logo is spot on. The CCs are crossed with their should and have the proper thickness. The font and spacing are also excellent. he tongue is centered, and the turn-lock mechanism is smooth as butter. Seriously, that turn-lock so close to the auth version. Where this would fail with the authenticator on inspection is likely the feel of the chains and the number on the metal plate. I would never wear an rep to the boutique. However, I will wear this around my high-class friends who own tons of Chanel. In fact, I already sent them tons of pictures, and they all said she was beautiful. I would totally wear this into other fashion house boutiques since this rep is the VIP. I would still not let anyone else handle my bag unless they were my family who does know I’m into reps. Besides, who wants someone else's grubby hands on their precious baby? Just like how I was with my human baby, I do not want strange humans holding my baby. Seller Satisfaction: I originally contacted her for a 187 WOC, but she told me those were all out. I appreciated her honesty since sadly I can not say the same for everyone. I thought her pricing was fair since it included shipping AND the boxes. I had to pay extra for the box and shipping from other sellers before. She was very patient with me despite my changing my mind about the color and style of the bag since I also inquired about a Chanel 19 before my brain decided that I wanted to try another flap. She was very friendly and used emojis, which is totally my style. She was always responsive, and I did not have to wait more than 24 hours between messages hardly at all. Most importantly she was so personable. I felt like I was talking to an SA instead of a seller (really, with my Jimmy Choo SA, he sometimes waits more than 24 hours to respond, too). https://preview.redd.it/0k8j8w1uh71d1.jpg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b86daa0c3e0bfb7d61eb0810e8dfaba26753e945 |
2024.05.18 14:51 MarinerV GW-2500 bracelet upgrade
The GW-2500 remains one of the professional G-Shocks that is still current and with its functions it can be used on multiple occasions. at the time of release, four versions were offered with bezels in different shades of metal: steel, copper, and “burnished” black. submitted by MarinerV to gshock [link] [comments] Of these last two, one was with a positive display and resin strap and the other with a negative display and steel bracelet. Unfortunately the negative display of this series is not visible in all conditions, I have it in the. ersion with copper bezel and I don't love it much. While looking for a steel bracelet to upgrade my GW with resin strap and positive display, I realized that the originals almost exceed the value of the watch: too much for me. I don't like aftermarket parts, but in this case I risked an aftermarket one. I must say that I was surprised: full metal, very good finishes, but above all the finish, which surprisingly comes very close to that of the bezel, creating a very particular whole. |
2024.05.18 05:20 Vladimonchis How to: True Heir of Timur!
Proof (since I didn't save my past screenshots, oops.) submitted by Vladimonchis to eu4 [link] [comments] Ranked as one of the hardest achievements in the game, True Heir of Timur has been one of the most fun achievements to do imo. Conquering India as an Asian power feels often like a slog late game, but early game, given the diversity of alliance networks and the size of every nation's armies, it feels much easier. So, here's a strategy for new-er players to try it out (I played on Normal, so some of this may not work for higher difficulties. However, this is more intended to people who feel a little scared to try it out!) Opening moves: I started as Transoxiana. Good starting leader, pretty good economy, good army, and close enough to India. First things first, try to get support for independence from the Ottomans. I have attempted this run 3 times, and all 3 times, the Ottos were the first and most eager to break me free. That's better than the Mamluks, since you won't get dragged into a defensive war against the #1-#2 power in the world. Regardless, if that doesn't happen to you, you can get support from Mamluks. Just remember- both of them will call you into unfortunate offensive wars in the future, so keep that in mind if you want to preserve the alliance. Get your diplomat to work on improving relations with whichever country you asked to support your independence from, and spy on the Timurids. If Shah Rukh doesn't die before 1450 or starts a war against Ajam, Mazandaran at that point, just restart. Not worth the pain. When Shah Rukh dies, your truce will most likely be up, so I recommend to ally Fars and Khorasan - you can ditch them right away, they're meh as allies. Merc up with the Free Company and delete the horse units- they will take you over the force limit and they waste a lot of money for what they are worth. You will receive a stab penalty, so stab up before you fight the Timurids. Usually they ally Yas or whatever, if it is a small ally like that, then you won't have any problem fighting Sistan, Timurids and Afghanistan. Just keep in mind where they are- DO NOT get caught while sieging down some of their mountain forts. https://preview.redd.it/vbpmcw74h31d1.png?width=1920&format=png&auto=webp&s=38532cf5a08e301548e44ad2d5a912cb97ca114b By around 1450, you should have gotten your independence, as well as grabbed territory and money from the Timurids. They will most likely have conquered some of Ladakh (since Ladakh tends to ally Tsang, the Timmies most likely couldn't full annex them), so take what they got from them Before ending the war though, make sure to recall your diplomat spying on the Timurids and put them to spy on Kashmir or Multan (if not, check how Sirhind or Delhi are doing in your game). Ally Jaunpur ASAP- they are going to help you a lot against Delhi & co. Before you declare on Delhi, move your armies to Central Doab, or even just a single unit, so you can rush Delhi before they can. Usually they go for the fort in Sirhind- that's fine, make sure you grab Lahore and/or Doaba before they can. Given the size of their army, they will be the main fighting force. Always make sure to conserve your own manpower before anything else, since you can get loans- but you cannot get men as easily (given the fact that piety tends to be a little random sometimes.) https://preview.redd.it/e6ehixfvi31d1.png?width=1920&format=png&auto=webp&s=ecdf04bfa785d3e1879117af425bd4ce5b69345d You should be able to form Mughals by this point in time - I took longer since I made a mistake while attacking Multan: the important part about allying Jaunpur is that you can conquer Multan without them intervening, while they are at your side in another war. My mistake was in peacing out Delhi before I could finish the war against Multan, so Jaunpur immediately got dragged into a war against me. Don't do what I did. :P Remember- when forming the Mughals, your economy may tank. Your main trade node won't be Samarkand anymore, and you will be in a pretty bad position to receive trade from Doab. That's fine, that just means you'll have to focus Hindustan, just like your claims tell you to anyways. You can TC the original Transoxiana states, since Uzbek won't be an accepted culture anymore (you'll have to take Yashiklul from Yarkand/Moghulistan and Qaralpak from Uzbek or Nogay). At this moment in time, take a breather, check the alliances and territories in India - you can usually avoid fighting the big Indian powers by allying them or fighting their allies while they are at war. You can usually ally Bahmanis or Bengal at this point- the choice is yours. I'd recommend to start snaking thru the Himalayan minors, since thye will have pretty weak alliances and you won't get much AE from getting them. Though, I'd recommend vassalizing one of them and feeding them their land- just saves you a lot of precious admin mana. And that's how the first 20 years should look like! Mughals formed, and having a foothold in India. https://preview.redd.it/0n87k0tkk31d1.png?width=1920&format=png&auto=webp&s=e774e016d6efd9b2342b4bb08e35033bf5fee7d3 By around the turn of the century, a lot of Indian powers will start consolidating- check out any of the Indian minors that are protected by them. Keep them alive for as long as you need to, as you will be able to juggle truces this way. Other than that, the game will progress pretty differently with every save. https://preview.redd.it/s85sy6m6l31d1.png?width=1920&format=png&auto=webp&s=c1f4bc33ae26f147059fd801f3d350e0151f9b91 General tips:
And that's about it! With India conquered, the options are endless, especially with a stable Mughals. You'll most likely be #1 Great Power by quite a bit, already developed colonialism and swimming in cash and mana. The world is your oyster by this stage: start a WC, go for Sweet Home Qaraqorum or just enjoy playing one of the best tags in the game with an staggering advantage over anyone else. |
