2024.05.19 16:11 damoUK1 Facecam Pro ruined by latest Camera Hub/Firmware update

I have the Facecam Pro and Prompter plugged into a work laptop. It's principally used to present to work colleagues through Teams from a Lenovo i7 laptop, using a Lenovo Dock for connecting camera and Prompter to the laptop (using the Prompter to look at the people I'm presenting to and for scripts if I need to).
When first purchased (a few months ago) I was getting great quality video streams. Since the last update to the Camera Hub (which also updated the camera firmware), the video frequently freezes in teams, and creates a sort corrupt buzzing sound to come through the computer speakers and the video is only at 720p 30, according to the Camera Hub. I don't know what the original video quality was, but my colleagues have told me that the quality has dropped significantly and that I frequently freeze when talking to them.
Whilst Teams might also have updated since this began happening, it definitely coincided with the Camera Hub and camera firmware update. How do I fix this, or can I downgrade the firmware/Camera Hub version? (The Camera Hub update has dramatically improved the usability of Prompter, so I'm hoping there's an easier fix than a downgrade!)
FWIW, I have tried changing to both Bulk and Isochronous mode. Isochronous mode marginally improved the recovery speed of the video stream when it freezes, but otherwise no change.

2024.05.19 14:44 Jmoneytwizkid Peavey Vypyr 60w Tube amp

Iā€™m thinking I want to get the older version of the Peavey Vypyr series, the 60w that comes with the tubes. Iā€™ve scoured YouTube and Iā€™ve noticed that I like the sound of that amp better than the Peavey Vypyr VIP, Pro or X series. Iā€™ve also noticed that the general consensus online is that the 60w is a beast and is a really good plug and play amp while still having a pretty killer metal sound. I currently use a Boss Katana Artist MKII and the cleans are pretty good and clear but the high gain tones are lacking even after software editing and all that, it just doesnā€™t do it for me (sounds very grainy and hissy even with a seperate noise gate being used).
The main thing that is preventing me from pulling the trigger is that the amp is discontinued and not really talked about in the guitar community, so if I have any issues I feel like it might be a pain to sort them out (but Iā€™m just speculating). Also I donā€™t know if the cleans are good enough for me to use my own multi effects pedal because so many people online just focus on the metal tones, understandably so. Iā€™m mainly just bedroom playing but I can crank it whenever and I want it to sound good and have a loud amp for band practices and whatnot.
Does anyone have any experiences with this amp? I can get one for under 350 but I donā€™t want it to crap out or be useless in a few years. Does anyone have any pros and cons of owning this amp? I also canā€™t seem to find anything negative about this particular amp online, itā€™s mostly people raving about how Peavey should have kept this amp going.
Please someone offer insight, thanks!

2024.05.19 13:17 RoyHadouken PC failing to power up - MOBO or CPU issue?

Hello all! I have been having a major issue with my pc for a few months now.
One day I turned my pc off, all as per usual, then went away for an hour and when I came back when I tried to power on it would start and then after a few seconds the power would cut out, and then a second later it would try and power itself on again, ad infinitum.
My PC is very old at this point coming up to 10 years, but I'm hoping to hold out for another year before building a new one.
I believe that I have isolated the issue to being either the mobo or the CPU, I think it's either the CPU itself or the housing. When i removed components one by one I could power the CPU without the GPU plugged in, or the GPU without the CPU plugged in, however now neither works. I thought it might be a power supply issue but I've replaced it, and it seemed to fix the issue temporarily, but then it's started up again.
This time I unplugged everything one step at a time, and power works for everything except the power cable that goes into the MOBO, and even then that still works if i remove the actual CPU from the housing.
The rest of the PC is working fine, and I've actually managed to get the PC working for a couple of days here and there arbitrarily after leaving it for a week. C:/ and everything powered up as per usual once I get through the boot process, no data loss or problems.
Then I eventually turn it off and the problem starts again - interestingly the issue has occurred twice after I have attempted a Shut down and update - I'm on windows 10 still - then when I try and pwer up again, voila! Not sure if coincidental or not.
I have had issues with the bios mentioning an overclocked fan that it can't register, but normally if I save and exit that has fixed it in the past.
I'd love some help for what I might be able to check, or any advice on how to check whether it's the mobo or the CPU that I might need to replace in the meantime. Thanks!
Specs:
MOBO: Asus Z87-Pro
CPU: Intel i7 4770k
GPU: AMD 5700

As an avid card collector, discovering the Pennzoni display card deck display case was a game-changer for me. Before using this case, I can't tell you how many times I've knocked over stacks of playing cards or struggled to see them all at once. But ever since I started using this case, my card collection has never looked better.
The thing that really won me over about this case is its spacious interior. It comfortably holds up to 65-70 decks of cards, and unlike some other cases I've tried, it can handle taller and thicker decks with no problem. Plus, the crystal-clear acrylic door lets me admire my cards without ever touching them - no more smudging or smearing!
However, it's not all perfect with this case. The paint smell was quite strong when I first got it, which was a bit of a turnoff initially. But, after airing it out for a few days, the smell dissipated significantly and my cards are now safely tucked away.
Overall, the Pennzoni display card deck display case is a must-have for any serious collector. It not only provides a sleek and elegant way to display your cards but also offers ample space to keep them organized and protected.

As an avid baseball card collector, I was thrilled to get my hands on the Card Titan Slab Safe. I've been using it to store and protect my valuable PSA graded trading cards, and it has been a game changer. The precise row size of 3.34 inches x 8.25 inches x 4.5 inches deep, which fits up to 36 standard card PSA slabs, has allowed me to keep my collection well-organized and secure.
The quality of the Slab Safe is top-notch, with its aluminum frame, diamond ABS panels, and laser cut foam interior making it more robust than traditional cardboard storage boxes. This extra durability is perfect for safeguarding my prized PSA, BGS, SGC, HGA, and CSG graded trading cards.
In terms of capacity, the Slab Safe does not disappoint, holding up to 108 standard card PSA slabs. However, storage capacity may vary based on the graded card brand and slab thickness, so do keep that in mind.
Security is a top priority for collectors like me, and the Slab Safe delivers in that aspect, featuring two combination locks to ensure only authorized individuals can access my collection. Plus, its rubber feet on the bottom and hinge side prevent sliding and scratching on glass countertops.
If you're a serious collector looking for the best way to store and organize your graded cards, I highly recommend giving the Card Titan Slab Safe a try. It has everything you need - space, protection, and versatility.

As an avid trading card collector, I've tried numerous display options to keep my cards safe and showcase them beautifully. The Grade Displays 3 Card Black is hands down my favorite. This sturdy little stand has a triple layer system that securely holds my cards and the clear acrylic design lets me admire them from every angle. Plus, the hidden metal screw caps give it a seamless and polished look on my wall.
One thing I particularly appreciated is how this stand can effortlessly protect my valuable cards. It has a strong build and the transparent acrylic prevents dust and scratches from damaging them. Additionally, the stand's free-standing design means I can quickly move it around or adjust it to fit any space in my room.
However, there's one downside - the size. It's a bit too small to fit some oversized trading cards. But overall, the Grade Displays 3 Card Black is a fantastic product that every card collector should own. It strikes the perfect balance between functionality and style, making my favorite cards look like pieces of art on my wall.

As a fan of sports and someone who loves collecting baseball cards, I have been using the Fanousy PU Sports Card Display Case for quite some time now. This elegant case is not only a safe haven for my cards but also adds a touch of classic aesthetics to my room's dƩcor.
The first thing that caught my attention is the use of PU leather which is a refreshing change from the regular plastic display cases. It makes handling much easier and gives my cards a velvety touch that's quite comforting.
Another aspect I appreciate about this case is its ability to hold both graded and ungraded cards, making it versatile. The capacity to fit eight cards at once is generous, saving me from constantly swapping out the displayed cards.
One feature that stands out is the 98% UV protection, keeping my valuable cards safe from any potential damage caused by sunlight. Plus, the anti-theft lock ensures peace of mind knowing my favorite cards are securely displayed.
However, there's a bit of a downside - the case does require assembly, which might be a little bit time-consuming for some. But once you get past that hurdle, it's smooth sailing!
In conclusion, the Fanousy Baseball Card Display Case has not only enhanced my collection but also added a unique charm to my room. While assembly can be a small setback, its overall performance and sturdy design make it a worthwhile investment for any serious sports card collector.

I recently got my hands on this marvelous Lockable 36 Graded Sports Card Display Case for Football Baseball Basketball Hockey Cards CC02-BL. I must say, it's been an absolute game-changer in the way I've been organizing and displaying my precious sports card collection. The sheer size of it, measuring 30.5 inches in width, 24.25 inches in height, and just 2 inches in depth, is just what I needed.
The mahogany color and the smooth edges of this hardwood display case bring an air of sophistication to my game room where it proudly hangs. I also appreciate the bevelled shelves that prevent my cards from sliding, providing a secure and snug fit. And let's not forget about the brass hinges, door latches, and wall brackets that make it wall mountable, a feature I didn't realize I needed until I had it.
One of the things that really caught my eye is the super fine fabric mattified black background. It truly elevates the look of my cards, making them stand out in a stunning contrast. Plus, the acrylic door cover has been a life-saver in keeping dust and potential damage at bay.
However, one con I've encountered is that it doesn't come with a lock for added security, which I wish it did especially considering the valuable contents it holds. Overall, this display case has been a fantastic addition to my sports card collection and has made preserving and showcasing my cards a whole lot easier and more secure.

šŸ”—Temgee 36 PCS Trading Card Protector Case

https://preview.redd.it/iy8u8l0g1c1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=629e0f3ad2b6cf1a0081cdc6a87b59635794459c
As a baseball card enthusiast, I've always struggled with finding a proper way to keep my collection safe and visible. That's when the Temgee Graded Sports Card Display Case came to my rescue. It's a large, wall-mounted case that comfortably holds 36 graded cards in a neat and organized manner.
Its black matte finish gives it a sophisticated appearance, making my home office look like a dedicated sports card room. The outer dimensions of the case are impressive at 30.5" x 24.3" x 2.1", providing ample space to display my most treasured cards. The inner dimensions are thoughtfully designed to fit the standard graded sports card sizes perfectly.
The use of wooden frames and acrylic view glasses adds both durability and visibility to the case. I don't have to worry about my cards getting damaged or accumulating dust, as the brass hinges, door latches, and wall brackets keep everything secure and the acrylic door cover protects my collection.
However, one downside I noticed is the weight. At 12.8 LBS, it's quite heavy, which might make it difficult for some people to mount on the wall. But overall, the Temgee Graded Sports Card Display Case has made my card-collecting hobby even more enjoyable, providing a safe and elegant space to showcase my favorite sports cards.

šŸ”—Secure Lockable Trading Card Display Case

That's when I stumbled upon the DisplayGifts Pro UV 44 Graded Sports Card Display Case. This sleek, black-finished frame is not your average display case. It boasts a solid wood structure that speaks volumes about its durability and sturdiness, making it a perfect companion for my valuable cards.
What really caught my eye about this display case is the UV protection offered by its super clear acrylic door. This is a game-changer for me as it ensures my cards remain safe from any potential damage caused by sunlight. The door opens upwards with top hinges, preventing the case from toppling over while I'm admiring my collection.
One of the best features I've come to love about this case is the lip on each shelf. It keeps my cards firmly in place, avoiding any unwanted sliding that could lead to scratches or damage. Plus, it's incredibly easy to set up - no fuss, no tools, just unpack and start displaying your cards!
Another standout aspect is its size. The 37-inch width is perfect for showcasing a variety of cards with different dimensions. It's important to note, though, that only cards no taller than 5.5 inches will fit, so make sure to measure up your cards before making a purchase.
All in all, the DisplayGifts Pro UV 44 Graded Sports Card Display Case is a brilliant addition to any collector's arsenal, offering both style and protection. Its unique features make it stand out from the crowd, and I can't recommend it enough for anyone seeking a safe and elegant way to showcase their beloved trading and sports cards.

I recently purchased the Pennzoni Baseball Card Display Case to spruce up my growing sports card collection. This display case has been an absolute game-changer for me, and it's evident that it was crafted with precision.
The meticulous hardwood construction elevates any display space, and its elegant color options make it easy to customize according to your personal style. Its primary function, however, shines brightest - this case comfortably secures up to 35 graded cards, ensuring that your valuable collection stays safe and sound.
I was particularly impressed by the crystal-clear acrylic door and UV protection, which not only provide a visually stunning presentation but also protect my valuable cards from fading. To top it off, the lockable feature ensures that my collection is secure at all times.
Despite these fantastic features, one aspect felt slightly underwhelming. The extra hardware for horizontal setup wasn't readily available; however, customer service promptly resolved this issue. Overall, the Pennzoni Baseball Card Display Case has made a significant impact on my sports card collection, transforming it into a beautiful, secure focal point.

What I particularly love about this case is its meticulous polish and elegant black color, which easily complements any decor. The crystal-clear acrylic door safeguards my cards from fading and damage, so I can rest assured knowing that my collection will always look its best. Plus, with the option to add extra hardware for a horizontal setup, it's versatile enough to suit my changing needs.
However, one small drawback is the weight of this case. At 16 pounds, it might be a bit cumbersome to move around easily. But overall, the Pennzoni Baseball Card Display Case not only elevates the look of my cards but also provides a safe space to protect and admire my collection.

šŸ”—Durable and Clear Card Display Case Set (5-Pack)

As an avid fan of collecting sports cards, I've been searching for the perfect case to display and protect my prized possessions. Enter the Display Card Cases from The Container Store. I was curious about these cases, given their simple yet effective design. Upon receiving them, I was excited to see how they would perform.
The first thing I noticed upon holding the cases was their rigidity and sturdiness. Made of high-quality acrylic, these cases provide a sense of security for my valued cards. The snap-open feature is incredibly convenient for quick access, yet the cases close securely to keep my cards in pristine condition.
However, there was a minor hitch in my experience. One of the five cases in my package didn't fit together as tightly as the others, and it opened a bit too easily. It was a small issue, but it did concern me about the quality control. Fortunately, the other four cases in the pack snapped perfectly, providing the protection and ease of use I was looking for.
In conclusion, the Display Card Cases from The Container Store are mostly effective in their purpose. They offer the necessary durability and convenience for card collectors. The only area of improvement would be to ensure consistent quality across all cases in a package. But overall, these cases deliver and make a worthy investment for any card collector.

I received it as a wedding gift and it's become an essential piece of home decor. Made of handcrafted brass, this sturdy piece has a vintage and eye-catching appearance that's sure to add charm to any room. The reinforced glass also ensures that it's safe and doesn't break easily, which I truly appreciate.
One of my favorite features is the swing lid, making it perfect for centerpieces or flower arrangements. Its sleek gold geometric shape adds a contemporary twist while still feeling timelessly elegant. Plus, it's large enough to hold up to 100 pcs of regular 4x6 cards, ensuring there's plenty of space for all your well-wishers' notes.
Overall, I am absolutely in love with this gold terrarium card box. Buyer's Guide

When it comes to collecting cards, displaying them is just as important as acquiring them. Card display cases not only protect your cards from environmental damage and wear, but also showcase your collection in a professional manner. In this buyer's guide, we will explore the important features, considerations, and general advice for choosing the right card display case for your needs. Firstly, consider the material of the display case. Cases made from high-quality materials, such as acrylic or polycarbonate, offer better protection and durability than those made from cheaper materials like PVC. Ensure that the case you choose is UV-resistant, especially if you plan to expose your collection to natural light sources. Secondly, pay attention to the size and design of the display case. Make sure it suits your collection's size and style, as well as the available space in your display area. Cases with adjustable compartments are ideal for accommodating various card sizes and formats. Also, consider transparent or opaque options based on your personal preferences and privacy requirements. Thirdly, take into account the mounting options offered by different cases. Some cases may come with built-in stands or wall mounts, while others may require additional hardware or DIY solutions. Choose a case that provides versatile and secure mounting options to suit your display requirements and ensure your cards remain in place without causing any damage. Lastly, consider the overall quality and brand reputation. Opting for well-known and reputable brands can guarantee better performance, longevity, and customer support. Read reviews or seek recommendations from fellow collectors to make sure you're getting a high-quality, reliable display case for your valuable cards. In conclusion, choosing the right card display case involves considering factors like material quality, size and design, mounting options, and brand reputation. What is the proper way to clean and maintain card display cases?

Clean and maintain your card display cases by following these guidelines:

Can I use display cases for other collectibles besides cards?

Yes, card display cases can be adapted for various collectibles, such as coins, buttons, or stamps. However, make sure the case dimensions and material quality are suitable for the particular type of collectible you plan to display, and always store and handle your collectibles with care to avoid damage.

šŸ”—Heavy Duty Foam Cannon for Motorcycle & Car Washing

https://preview.redd.it/qe9gzk7gxb1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3de9f922dfbb141bcd1e7f303765c4608a5b6e2b
Last year, I got myself the FGDCHNJ Pressure Washer Foam Cannon for my daily car washing routine. I have the foam wash gun mounted on my pressure washer, and it has been a game changer for my cleaning game.
The heavy-duty brass material of the foam cannon makes it sturdy and long-lasting, perfect for both residential and commercial usage. It's been months since I got it, and it still works like brand new! I'm surprised how versatile this foam cannon is.
One thing I love about this foam cannon is the adjustable foam thickness level and spray angles. It's super easy to use, and I can switch it up to match my washing needs effortlessly. The wide-mouth bottle design also ensures that I'm using the foam efficiently without causing any cracks, which is fantastic.
I have the foam cannon on a 2-5.3 GPM pressure washer that works with a 1/4 inch connector, and it's compatible with pressure washer connectors ranging from 725-4,000 PSI operating pressure. It can handle up to 60Ā°C/140Ā°F max temp.
While I've had a great experience with it, there's one small con. The foam cannon is made in China, so some users experienced issues with receiving counterfeit products. But, the good news is that it has a free replacement policy if you face any defects. Overall, I'm satisfied with my purchase and highly recommend it for anyone looking for a durable and efficient car wash foam cannon.

I've had the chance to use TriNova's Foam Cannon and Gallon Car Wash Soap Kit, and I must say, it's been quite the experience. Whenever my car is in desperate need of a deep cleaning, I rely on this set to help me out.
The foam cannon is a game-changer, and its compatibility with standard pressure washer quick connect attachments makes it easily accessible to anyone. Adjusting the nozzle for narrow or wide steam and using the air intake knob to create more or less foam ensures that my ride gets the attention it deserves.
One of the features that stood out to me was the option to use a narrow or wide steam. This allowed me to target specific areas of my car that needed extra attention, like under the wheel wells and engine bay. I also appreciated the ease of use with its attachments being easy to connect to my pressure washer wand.
However, the price tag can be a bit steep for some users. I've noticed that the plastic bottle isn't the most durable, so I would proceed with caution while handling it to prevent any damages.
All in all, TriNova's Foam Cannon and Gallon Car Wash Soap Kit have proved to be a valuable addition to my car care routine. Its performance and convenience have made washing my car a breeze, and I highly recommend it to anyone in need of a top-notch car wash set.

I recently tried the First Purchase Total Wash Street Foam Cannon Kit, and I must say, it's been quite the game-changer for my car washing routine. This kit offers not just a single cannon but also an additional cartridge, a HydraCoat Quick Detailer, and a Total Wash Heavy Duty ($65 value) for free.
One of the standout features I noticed is how fast and convenient this kit is, especially when it comes to covering large surface areas in a short amount of time. It's perfect for those of us who are constantly on the go and don't have the luxury to spend hours washing our cars.
The Total Wash Street offers an impressive thick lather that is safe on all surfaces and finishes. With just one cartridge, it makes over 5 gallons of highly effective wash, which is incredibly cost-effective in the long run.
While I appreciated the added value of the free products and the convenience of the Total Wash Street Foam Cannon Kit, there were some minor drawbacks. For one, I found that the spray pattern wasn't as even as I'd hoped, requiring a bit more effort to ensure the car was completely covered.
Overall, however, I'm quite satisfied with my experience using the First Purchase Total Wash Street Foam Cannon Kit, and I look forward to continuing to use it for my car washing needs. Despite the minor drawbacks, the kit's versatility, cost-effectiveness, and time-saving capabilities make it a worthwhile investment for any busy car owner.

šŸ”—Ultimate Touchless Wash Bundle for Effortless Vehicle Cleaning

https://preview.redd.it/06tb62mhxb1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9b6db58872d35283e33663612ab43c6ebc2223d5
I recently had the pleasure of trying out the Touchless Foam Cannon Kit, and let me tell you, it's a game-changer for car enthusiasts. The kit includes everything you need to make your car washing experience a breeze.
The first thing that really impressed me was the quality of the foam. It's so rich and thick, it practically clings to the car, ensuring every inch is covered. The concentrated foam soap not only removes stubborn stains but also leaves my car with a stunning shine.
Now, let's talk about the pressure washer foam cannons. They're a real treat! With the option of choosing between a max PSI of 3,000 and 5,000, you can tailor your wash to your vehicle's needs. The cannons make the washing process effortless and mess-free.
However, as with any product, there were a couple of minor drawbacks. I found the instructions a bit vague, which made getting the hang of it a bit tricky at first. But once I figured it out, it was smooth sailing.
All in all, I'm incredibly satisfied with this Touchless Foam Cannon Kit. It's easy to use, highly effective, and a must-have for anyone who values their car's appearance. I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking to make their car washing routine stress-free and efficient.

šŸ”—High-Pressure Car Wash Cannons for Effortless Foam Application

https://preview.redd.it/dfpa1u3ixb1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0585b3e0826e674aa5e106c4f5a8391ca10d0289
As someone who enjoys keeping my car clean and shiny, I recently gave the GDHXW X-887 High Pressure Washer Gun a try. This little gadget packs a punch, with a 3000 PSI rating that left my car looking brand new. The foam lance, with a 1/4" quick connector fitting, made the washing process a breeze, as I simply had to fill it with warm water and a bit of soap.
One nifty feature of this pressure washer gun is the adjustable spray nozzle, which allowed me to find the perfect stream of water for my needs. With 7 different spray angles, I could easily switch between watering my plants, washing my car, and even cleaning my driveway with ease. The core, made of quality brass, added a layer of durability to the device, and its solid brass body made it quite heavy.
Now, there were a couple of things that could have been better. First, connecting it to my garden water pipe turned out to be quite a challenge, as the product's instructions didn't quite line up with the hardware I had. Secondly, it wasn't as ideal for professional use as I had hoped - the spray nozzle seemed to need a bit more tweaking to get it to work just right.
Despite these minor drawbacks, the GDHXW X-887 High Pressure Washer Gun has proven to be a reliable tool for car cleaning enthusiasts like myself. With its adjustable spray nozzle, sturdy build, and surprisingly powerful pressure, this device has become an invaluable companion on my car cleaning journey.

šŸ”—Car Wash Cannon: Easy, Foam Soap Blasting System

https://preview.redd.it/3gxs1ibixb1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3d97abe8edc40d994b37ebefa4cc69113127c586
I recently tried this Carwash Cannon Foam Soap Blaster, and it turned out to be quite the experience. I have to say, the ease of use and convenience of this product impressed me right away. It was simple to attach to my garden hose and start blasting foam all over my car.
One of the standout features for me was the 5 different spray settings. I found that the foam setting between 3-5 (high) worked particularly well in covering my car in thick, cleansing foam. After letting it soak for a while, I used a wash mitt to scrub each section of the car and then rinsed it off, revealing a clean and shiny finish.
However, I did find that it didn't completely eliminate the need for manual scrubbing. Some stubborn spots still required a bit of elbow grease to remove, but overall, the carwash cannon made the process much more enjoyable and efficient.
In terms of cons, one thing I noticed was that the foam gun's performance seemed to vary slightly between uses. Sometimes it would produce a thick, generous foam, while other times it seemed to produce less foam with less force. Although this didn't significantly impact the overall cleaning experience, it did require some adjustment in technique when washing different areas of the car.
Overall, I'm quite pleased with this Carwash Cannon Foam Soap Blaster. It has definitely made my car washing experience easier and more enjoyable. By using the right soap and paying attention to the foam settings, it delivers impressive results, and I'd recommend it for anyone looking to make their car washing routine more efficient and less of a hassle.

šŸ”—Car Wash Foam Cannon with Adjustable Thickness

I recently tried the Foam Cannon from Proper Detailing Co. to make washing my car safer and quicker. One of the standout features is the wide mouth design that makes filling the cannon a breeze - just add water and foam shampoo. This cannon can be used with both electric and gas pressure washers, making it versatile and easy to use.
I also love the stainless pickup tube filter, which ensures consistent foaming action even when I'm spraying at an angle. Another great advantage is the simplicity of the thickness knob, which makes it easy to control the ratio of foam to water. By turning the knob, I can achieve the perfect snowfoam for a sparkling clean car.
The Foam Cannon from Proper Detailing Co. not only saves time but also keeps my car safe by creating a safe lubricant for washing without scratching or marring the paint. This quality product made by an Atlanta-based brand has made my car washing experience more enjoyable and hassle-free.

šŸ”—Effortless Car Wash Foam Cannon: Powerful Cleaning with Non-Tip Design

https://preview.redd.it/08v2dj2jxb1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1a47eff1d3a8519789784fb5a39e00770cab8349
I've been using the Armor All Foam Cannon in my daily life, and I must say it made my car washing routine a lot more enjoyable and efficient. The foam cannon not only saves me time but also provides better results as it evenly coats my vehicle with less effort, making it easier to clean and removing dirt and grime more effectively.
One of the key aspects I appreciated about this foam cannon was its ease of use. The non-slip grip, along with the wide, non-tip bottle, ensures that I can control the foam cannon with ease while it effectively covers my car. Moreover, being compatible with a 1/4 inch Quick-Connect tip makes it more versatile and convenient to use, even with my existing pressure washer.
While I've had a positive experience with the Armor All Foam Cannon, there was one thing that I found slightly frustrating. The 1/4 inch Quick-Connect tip that came with it didn't match my power washer perfectly, which led to an occasional overflow of foam and a messier experience. However, once I figured out the right Quick-Connect tip for my pressure washer, it made the foam cannon even more practical and efficient.
In conclusion, the Armor All Foam Cannon has made my car washing experience a lot better, and I'm happy to see improvements in both the appearance of my car and my overall satisfaction. Despite the initial hiccup with the Quick-Connect tip, the foam cannon remains a practical and smart solution for anyone looking to simplify their car washing routine.

Recently, I had a chance to use the MTM Hydro 28 Special PF22.2 Foam Cannon Kit as a car wash solution for my weekend projects. The kit includes everything you need for a pressure washer attachment, from plug adapters to fittings. The swivel function on the SG28 Spray Gun is a game-changer, as it prevents tangles while changing directions.
The PF22.2 Foam Cannon itself is impressive, creating a consistent foam that helps deep clean the surface while saving time. However, one drawback I experienced is that it might not be the most efficient for larger surfaces like houses or fences.
When I tested the product on my car, it delivered a thorough and even clean. The adjustable fan blades and 2-stage nozzle are great additions, allowing me to control the flow and coverage of the foam. The car wash gun's flexibility made it perfect for cleaning nooks and crannies around my car.
Overall, the MTM Hydro 28 Special PF22.2 Foam Cannon Kit is a powerful and versatile tool for anyone looking to make their car washing routine more efficient and eco-friendly.

šŸ”—MTM Hydro Ultimate Car Wash Cannon Kit with Spray Gun and Stainless Steel Fittings

When I first tried the MTM Hydro Ultimate Foam Cannon Kit and Spray Gun, I was impressed by how quickly and efficiently it cleaned my car. The integrated swivel gun and stainless steel fittings made maneuvering it a breeze, even in tight spaces. One of my favorite features is the adjustable nozzle, which allowed me to control the amount of foam I needed to get rid of stubborn dirt and grime.
However, I did notice that the maximum pressure it could handle was only 5,000 PSI and 12 GPM. Despite this, the car wash foam cannon still produced a thick and effective cleaner for my vehicle. With its compatibility with various pressure washers and its ability to eliminate the need for reaching, the MTM Hydro Ultimate Foam Cannon Kit and Spray Gun is definitely a must-have for both home and professional cleaning needs.

šŸ”—Professional Car Wash Foam Cannon for Touchless Cleaning

The Suds Lab F1 Professional Foam Cannon has been a game-changer in my car washing routine. Its ability to transform liquid soap into a luxurious foam that easily covers my car in a matter of minutes is truly remarkable. The installation process is a breeze, requiring no additional tools and simply needing to be attached to my pressure washer.
One of the standout features for me is the adjustable foam control, which allows me to fully control the level of foam dispensed. This has been incredibly useful in saving my soap, and I no longer have to rely on the traditional sponge and bucket method. The 32-ounce canister size adds to its convenience, ensuring a sufficient amount of soap for multiple washes.
However, there is a downside to this foam cannon. It can be quite bulky, as it measures approximately 6.89 inches in length and 9.84 inches in height. This makes it a bit challenging to store when not in use. Also, the pressure wash can be quite powerful, which means it may not be suitable for delicate surfaces or those who prefer a gentler wash. Overall, the Suds Lab F1 Professional Foam Cannon is a fantastic tool for anyone looking to streamline their car washing process, but its size and power level should be considered before making a purchase.

I remember the first time I tested this foam cannon for my pressure washer. It was a game-changer! The powerful 1.1mm valve created the most impressive foam I'd ever seen. It made washing my car so much more effective and enjoyable. I was impressed by how easy it was to use - simply add soap, fill with water, and shake to create the perfect car wash foam. The adjustable nozzle allowed me to control the spray pattern, making the experience even better.
One of the things I loved about this foam cannon is its durability. The wide neck design ensures it won't crack, even under heavy use. I've used it multiple times now, and it still performs excellently. Plus, the fact that it comes with Snow Foam Car Wash Soap makes it a perfect car wash kit.
However, there was one aspect I found a bit annoying - the foam cannon can be quite heavy when filled with water. But overall, I'd highly recommend this foam cannon to anyone looking for an efficient and effective way to wash their car.

Buyer's Guide

Car Wash Cannons are powerful, versatile tools designed to tackle various car cleaning tasks with ease. They provide an efficient and convenient way to clean cars, whether it's for personal use or a professional car wash service. In this guide, we will discuss various important factors to consider when purchasing a Car Wash Cannon to ensure you make the right choice.

Water Pressure

https://preview.redd.it/u0pzthlnxb1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=16311f8d593b007051bb97240927596b97d3c640
Water pressure is a critical factor when choosing a Car Wash Cannon. Ensure that the device you select can handle the required pressure for your specific application. Water pressure requirements may vary depending on the type of cleaning task, such as washing vehicle interiors, exteriors, or removing stubborn dirt and stains.

Versatility

Consider the versatility of the Car Wash Cannon. Look for devices that come with multiple attachments, such as different nozzles, extensions, and brushes. This will allow you to tackle various cleaning tasks with ease without needing separate tools for each job. Versatile Car Wash Cannons can save you time and money in the long run.

Durability and Build Quality

Car Wash Cannons should be built to withstand regular use and harsh cleaning conditions. Look for devices made from high-quality materials, such as stainless steel or industrial-grade plastics. Inspect the build quality and construction of the Cannon to ensure that it can handle the wear and tear that comes with consistent use.

https://preview.redd.it/sgwlqvxnxb1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b722717ee61e8360766a1251bf56d17117ca61fa

Power Source

Car Wash Cannons can be powered by electricity, compressed air, or a combination of both. Each power source has its advantages and disadvantages. Electric car wash cannons are generally more powerful and easier to use, while compressed air cannons are more suited for specific applications. Consider the type of car washing tasks you need to perform and choose a power source that best fits your requirements.

Noise Levels

Noise levels are an essential consideration when selecting a Car Wash Cannon, especially if you plan to use it in a residential area or close to living spaces. Look for devices with lower noise levels to minimize disruption to your surroundings.

Maintenance and Cleaning

https://preview.redd.it/xxrkq7goxb1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f80a7218db35f5099ba7cd8fa6fe8cf690171692
Proper maintenance and cleaning of your Car Wash Cannon are crucial to ensure its longevity and optimal performance. Choose devices with replaceable or repairable parts to make it easier to maintain and clean. Additionally, follow the manufacturer's advice on maintenance and cleaning procedures to keep your Car Wash Cannon in top condition.

Price and Value

Finally, consider the price and value of the Car Wash Cannon you are interested in purchasing. Higher-priced models may offer advanced features and better performance, but this doesn't always mean they are the best choice for your needs. Evaluate the cost-benefit ratio of the device and choose one that offers the best value for your money.
By keeping these factors in mind, you'll be better equipped to make an informed decision when selecting a Car Wash Cannon that suits your car cleaning needs and expectations.

2024.05.19 08:01 lexiq BST-300EX Bass Shaker Install

BST-300EX Bass Shaker Install
I've been assembling a rig over the last few months and recently decided it was time for some bass shakers. After reading everything I could find on the subject, here and elsewhere, I settled on two Dayton Audio BST-300EXs.
I was originally thinking of using a single Buttkicker Gamer Pro as it seemed like the most 'plug and play' solution, but there weren't any in stock, so I started looking at other options. I almost went with the BST-1, but decided that the extra power, and extra fidelity and range that comes with the BST-300EX to be worth the higher price.
I researched 4 corner setups like the one from Slip-Angle, but after some experimenting in a real car, found that I could mainly feel vibration through the seat, wheel, and maybe pedals, and I wasn't able to determine direction from the vibrations alone. Based on this, I decided to go for a front / rear configuration, with the shakers mounted directly under the pedals and seat. This would keep the cost lower, and require only a single stereo amplifier.
For the amplifier, I chose the Fosi Audio V3 for its 600W power output (300W per channel), although even with the 48V power supply, the true output is significantly less that this. Even so, it's enough to comfortably power the BST-300EXs.
For mounting, I used two pieces of 18mm plywood that I had left over from another project, painted black to match the rig. The shakers are mounted to the wood with socket screws and nylock nuts.
For the seat shaker, I bolted the plywood to the underside of the seat mount profile, with a little bit of blue thread locker to keep the bolts in place. I considered mounting it closer to the seat, but this was a simpler solution that also left the seat height unchanged. For the pedals shaker, the mounting is very similar, but uses longer bolts that go all the way through the pedal plate, the pedal mounts, and the plywood. In both cases, I added rubber washers to isolate vibrations from the rest of the chassis, although it's hard to tell how effective it is.
In any case, the results are excellent. I still have a little more work to do dialling in the effects in SimHub, but I'm very happy so far. Rumble strips, engine RPM and gear shifts add greatly to immersion, and ABS under the pedals is nice too, although I think dedicated pedal haptics would probably work a bit better for this.
Happy to provide more detail if anyone has any questions.

2024.05.19 05:28 patrickdappollonio DisplayPort + HDMI external screen for Macbook M1 without DisplayLink?

Hey all! This might be a bit of a long shot.
For about a year I was using this docking station: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07MKPP1W4/ -- worked great and I was able to close the laptop screen and use my two monitors (a widescreen + a small screen) with no issues.
Fast forward to today, I bought this KVM: https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B0CY5C63R4 which also works super good: you can connect two external monitors (my displayport + HDMI) and 4 peripherals (mouse, kbd, external microphone, external webcam) from my Windows Desktop PC to a Dell XPS laptop.
Then I tried connecting the docking station from the Mac M1 I have but I noticed the docking station uses 2 HDMIs, not 1 DisplayPort + 1 HDMI, so I bought a mini adapter. It works, but you have to manually every time unplug and re-plug the display whenever you want to switch between the two computers.
A friend of mine mentioned that what I needed was a DisplayLink docking station. So I bought this one: https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B0BWH6924N?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1
Long story short: I plugged everything in and the screens were black. I read the documentation and it says it needs a software to be running all the time from DisplayLink which takes a bit of CPU, especially on demanding graphics.
So I decided to shop for a new docking station, my only requirement (from the KVM) is 1 DisplayPort + 1 HDMI + 4 USBs (mouse, keyboard, ext microphone, ext webcam) and, to my surprise, every single listing I've encountered states that "due to a limitation on M1s you can't use 2+ external monitors". Is this a recent limitation and if so, how come my old docking station works with 2 screens?
Any docking station suggestions would be super appreciated!

2024.05.19 01:27 Next_Requirement_656 FTM exhausted and lost

I guess Iā€™m here to vent and share my story with others who get it.. because itā€™s hard for me to talk about with family or friends because no one understands and explaining things over and over just feels like losing more energy honestly. Iā€™m welcoming all suggestions since you have been through it.
My baby is 16 weeks and has not had a ā€œgood dayā€ since heā€™s been born. Over 100 days fighting for him and watching him struggle. We tried breastmilk, multiple formulas, and settled on Neocate syneo almost 3 months ago which cleared up a few of his more scary symptoms, but he still has most of them. So many visits doctors have told me his symptoms are normal, but didnā€™t take the time to really listen or watch what has been going on with him, which makes me feel like Iā€™m being a overprotective mom, or that Iā€™m crazy losing my mind, but things are clearly not right. Finally his ped sees that heā€™s truly struggling and sent a referral for GI since she had no knowledge on cmpa or what to do for him next and she said ā€œI thought he would have outgrown it by now and the Pepcid isnā€™t helpingā€ I have wanted to cry and scream at her at the same time because I feel like she truly neglected my baby while I have watched him sufferšŸ˜¢
He was unsettled since birth.. he was ready to eat right away, but struggled so much. We tried breastmilk, Bobbie, gentle ease, nutramigen, and Neocate syneo. Pepcid, increase dosage Pepcid, increase frequency Pepcid, gas drops, gripe water, changing bottles, probiotics, changing nipple flow, keeping upright. Literally everything.
Iā€™m so lost and it hurts to watch my baby suffer.
Current symptoms: GI discomfort - Eating every 2-4 hours besides at night, 45 minutes up to 2 hours to eat 4oz.
Throwing up projectile. Coughing then forcefully vomit half or whole bottle.
Spit up constantly.
Arching back in pain when feeding and after screaming so loud.
Poop so very loose and mucousy since birth, and worsening over time. Yellow liquid or dark green with black streaks or green with yellow seeds. Has never been formed. Horrible sour smell like vinegar or rotten eggs. Clearly in pain when pushing or when he is struggling to go. Either can barely poop once a day or will go 5x a day.
He was eating 5-6 oz, eating less oz now 3-4 still taking an hour and screaming when seeing bottle close to him. Screaming when getting into feeding position.
Hard to settle and screaming loud until passing out. Not full enough to sleep long periods.
Itā€™s been 2 weeks since increasing Pepcid but on it for 12 weeks and 12 weeks on amino acid formula - Neocate syneo.
Have to distract to eat - change position, sing, shh, takes 45-60+ minutes Unlatches quickly Crying in feeding position Arching back fussy
Since birth not 1 good happy feed without crying or pain. Has lessened over time but getting worse again
First 2 months couldnā€™t be put down, tummy time, bath, diaper, sleep unless held without absolutely screaming and losing it - sometimes these days can lay flat. First month awake 2-3 hours sleep 30 minutes
I was giving a time to see if it would get better, but itā€™s not getting better and some situations are getting worse. The things that have gotten better are not having an immediate reaction when eating - he had swollen eyelids, severe immediate rash and lingering eczema, and difficulty breathing. He will sleep now without being held. Iā€™m thankful for the improvements, but Iā€™m so heartbroken that things are not getting ā€œnormalā€ for him. It seemed like the Neocate syneo would be good for him but heā€™s not good.
It just seems like nothing is helping and itā€™s all trial and error. My baby is almost 4 months and itā€™s been a painful blur.
The ā€œsolutionsā€ I have come up with through research - changing to Prevacid or Prilosec for the reflux. Changing to alfamino (but super scared since it has soy oil) since it doesnā€™t have coconut, or switching to rtf alitenium (but super scared since it has milk), or trying regular Neocate since some babies struggle with the pro/prebiotics in the syneo.. which feels like the safest option since he had such trouble with milk and soy. Or the fear of something else being completely wrong and causing his pain and mucous. I just feel defeated with how things are going. But also so scared to change things again.

2024.05.19 00:59 Lefty-boomer Co2 regulator with Milwaukee Ph regulator electrical switch oddity

So Iā€™ve run my co2 with a oh regulator for years. Just updated from FZone co2 regulator to a CO2Art pro series, their entry level regulator. I wanted to not worry about co2 dumps when tanks run low.
So hooked them up, ran nice when Ph was high and the ph regulator was ā€œonā€ but once it reached 7.00 and turned off, the new Co2 regulator turned off then flashed on then off every few seconds.
I donā€™t understand what is happening, how it gets power to turn on and offā€¦does anyone understand how this happens?
I found an old thread here where two others had the exact same issue. They swapped the solenoid plug from an old regulator that had worked with the ph controller. Luckily I have THAT bin, all the odd bits and pieces of equipment and found an FZone connection that fit the co2art solenoid cord. It works fine, turns off and on with the Ph regulator.
But WHY? I thought when the Ph regulator kicks off no power goes to the place I plug in the solenoid, so how was it turning on and off on repeat?
Anyone understand the electrical explanation?

2024.05.19 00:22 MeshellT Using AI as a "new lock picking tool" and/or companion - test on my Paclock 90a-pro

Using AI as a
Hi,
I spend quite some time reading posts here and I see a lot of people asking for help either because they are beginners or because they are having problems regarding their specific lock.
Some people like doing their own lock picking tools, I tried to use AI - Chat GPT4-o as a new possible "lock picking tool" and/or companion.
Spoiler / conclusion : I still didn't manage to open it but I was extremely impressed by it's relevancy in such small amount of time (30 seconds) on my specific lock with just 3 pics and a few questions ( I use Chat Gpt a lot for work therefore I kind of know how to make prompts to push it to get as relevant as possible...like adding specific words to make sure it will go and get the necessary information needed ).
For sure, it's not perfect (yet?) but I will now do the exact process before coming to you guys to get a first feeling of my locks to avoid too many questions when I am stuck on a new lock ;)
Now here's what happened :
What I did :
I only sent the 3 pictures of my specific 90a-pro that you can see in my post (nothing elseā€¦. No text to give info on the lock :
  • pic of the padlock
  • Pic of the pins after I gutted it.
  • pic of the key

What I asked Chat Gpt4-o :
I am a passionate beginner of lock picking - I have found this lock that I don't know anything about for which I included 3 pictures : one is a picture of the lock , another other one is the gutted lock for which you see the pins (Pin 1 is on the left and pin 7 is on the right) and the last picture is the key I received that opens the lock.
Here are a few questions :
  • Can you give me some background, details and reputation of the company manufacturing it in 5 sentences ?
  • Can you detail the specifications of this lock and its reputation in 5 sentences ?
  • Can you detail the key pins and the driver pins you identify on this lock from 1 to 7 ? and explain the different security pins and how to manage them ?
  • Can you analyse each security pin identified from my lock and explain how to bypass those ?
  • Can you discuss the key bitting and what strategy to operate with it while taking in a account the pins of the lock ?
  • Can you detail the strategy to single pick this specific lock in detail in regards of the pins and the key bitting ? Please as I am a beginner : include and define usual lock picking terms while making your recap (set, false set, zero lift pins, counter rotation, jiggle test, etc...)
Please guide me with a lot of details as I am a beginner on lock picking on how to get this lock open step by step ?
What Chat GPT4-o answered in less than a minute :
PACLOCK 90A-PRO Lock Picking Guide
Background and Details of PACLOCK :
PACLOCK, short for Pacific Lock Company, was founded in 1998 and is recognized for producing high-quality padlocks and security hardware. They are known for their innovative and customizable security solutions, all manufactured in the USA. The company's product line includes padlocks, puck locks, and cylinders designed for both commercial and residential use. PACLOCK is highly regarded for its durability, precision engineering, and excellent customer service. Their products are widely used in various industries, including transportation, government, and utilities, which speaks to their reliability and strength.
Specifications and Reputation of the PACLOCK 90A-PRO :
The PACLOCK 90A-PRO is a high-security padlock known for its robust construction and pick-resistant features. The lock body is machined from 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum, making it lightweight yet incredibly strong. It features a 7-pin cylinder, which offers higher complexity and security compared to standard 5-pin locks. The shackle is made from hardened steel, providing significant resistance against cutting and sawing attacks. In the lock picking community, the 90A-PRO is highly regarded for its combination of quality materials and challenging security features, making it a popular choice for both enthusiasts and professionals.
Detailed Pin Identification and Characteristics :
In the PACLOCK 90A-PRO, the driver pins consist of two spool pins (positions 1 and 2), four serrated pins (positions 3, 4, 5, and 6), and one standard pin (position 7). All key pins are standard. The key you provided has a bitting pattern with varying depths: Depth 2 for pin 1, Depth 4 for pin 2, Depth 3 for pin 3, Depth 5 for pin 4, Depth 3 for pin 5, Depth 4 for pin 6, and Depth 1 for pin 7. Given this configuration, the pin at position 7 is a zero lift pin, meaning it is already at or very close to the shear line and does not need to be lifted during picking.
Security Pins: Definition, Details, and Strategies :
SPOOL PINS :
Definition and Details:
Spool pins have a narrow middle section with wider ends, resembling a spool of thread. This shape creates a false set when the pin is partially lifted, causing the plug to rotate slightly and giving the illusion that the pin is set.
Strategy to Bypass:
To pick spool pins, apply moderate tension and lift the pin until you feel counter-rotation, indicating the pin is binding at its narrow middle section. Carefully release tension while continuing to lift the pin to set it correctly at the shear line. Look for the counter-rotation and adjust tension accordingly to avoid dropping other pins.
SERRATED PINS :
Definition and Details:
Serrated pins have multiple notches or serrations along their length. These notches create several points of friction within the plug, leading to multiple false sets as the pin catches at each serration.
Strategy to Bypass:
To pick serrated pins, apply light tension and gently lift each pin until you feel the serrations clicking into place. Proceed slowly to ensure you do not over-set the pin, as lifting too high can cause the pin to catch above the shear line. Be patient and listen for the distinct clicks as each serration passes the shear line.
STANDARD PINS :
Definition and Details:
Standard pins are uniform cylinders without any additional features. They do not create false sets and are straightforward to pick.
Strategy to Bypass:
To pick standard pins, apply steady tension and lift the pin smoothly until it sets at the shear line without much resistance. Since they do not have any security features, standard pins should be the easiest to set.
Key Bitting Analysis and Its Impact on Picking Strategy
The key bitting pattern affects how each pin must be manipulated to reach the shear line. Here's the analysis of each pin based on the bitting and what it requires:
Pin 1 (Depth 2): This pin is relatively shallow. It requires a light lift, meaning minimal picking pressure is needed.
Pin 2 (Depth 4): This pin requires a moderate lift, needing more pressure to reach the shear line.
Pin 3 (Depth 3): This pin requires a moderate lift, similar to Pin 2 but slightly less.
Pin 4 (Depth 5): This pin is deep, requiring a significant lift to reach the shear line, demanding more careful control to avoid over-setting.
Pin 5 (Depth 3): Similar to Pin 3, it requires a moderate lift.
Pin 6 (Depth 4): This pin also needs a moderate lift, similar to Pin 2.
Pin 7 (Depth 1): This is the shallowest pin and is a zero lift pin. It should be avoided during picking to prevent over-setting.
Identifying and Managing False Sets
What Should Happen:
When you encounter a false set, the plug will turn slightly as if the lock is about to open, but it will not turn completely. This is typically caused by the binding of security pins such as spools or serrated pins. The false set occurs because the security pin partially sets, but the lock does not fully unlock until all pins are correctly set at the shear line.
How to Identify a False Set:
Counter-Rotation: For spool pins, a false set is indicated by a slight turn of the plug followed by a counter-rotation when you apply more pressure to the binding pin.
Clicking Sound: For serrated pins, you may feel or hear multiple clicks as the serrations catch, but the plug will not fully turn.
Partial Plug Turn: The plug may turn slightly but stops, indicating not all pins are set.
Managing False Sets:
Spool Pins: If you encounter a false set with a spool pin, feel for the pin that causes counter-rotation when you apply pressure. Carefully lift this pin while slightly reducing tension to allow the spool pin to set correctly.
Serrated Pins: For false sets caused by serrated pins, release a small amount of tension and gently lift the pin to allow the serrations to pass the shear line without over-setting.
Recheck All Pins: If the plug does not turn fully, recheck each pin to identify any that may still be binding or over-set. Adjust tension and lift as needed.
Jiggle Test: Definition and Use in Picking Strategy
Definition and Details:
The jiggle test involves lightly probing each pin to see if it jiggles or moves slightly. If a pin jiggles, it is likely already set at the shear line. If a pin feels solid or resists movement, it may still need to be set.
Strategy to Implement:
Apply Light Tension: Start with light tension and use a hook pick to probe each pin.
Test Each Pin: Gently lift each pin and feel for movement. If a pin jiggles, it is set. If a pin feels solid, it needs to be lifted.
Adjust Tension: Adjust the tension as you go, using the jiggle test to confirm pins that are set and identify those that need further manipulation.
Strategy to Single Pick the PACLOCK 90A-PRO
To pick the PACLOCK 90A-PRO, start by inserting a bottom-of-the-keyway tension wrench to maintain better control over the tension, and apply light tension to start. Insert a hook pick and feel for the first binding pin, which is the pin that resists movement. Begin by locating the binding pin regardless of its type (spool, serrated, or standard).
Lift each pin carefully based on its type and the required lifting depth:
Identify Binding Pin: Start by inserting the pick and feel for the first pin that resists movement, which is the binding pin.
Set Binding Pins (Spool Pins 1 and 2): Lift until you feel counter-rotation. Carefully release tension while continuing to lift the pin to set it correctly.
Set Binding Pins (Serrated Pins 3, 4, 5, and 6): Apply light tension and lift gently until you feel a series of clicks, which indicate the serrations passing the shear line. Be cautious not to lift too high to avoid over-setting these pins.
Set Binding Pin (Standard Pin 7): Apply steady tension and lift smoothly until the pin sets at the shear line without much resistance. Since this is also a zero lift pin, ensure minimal interaction.
Use the Jiggle Test: After setting each pin, use the jiggle test to confirm it is correctly set. If a pin jiggles, it is set; if it feels solid, it needs further manipulation.
Check for False Sets: If the plug has a slight turn but does not open, check for pins causing false sets by lightly lifting each pin again, focusing on those still binding. If you suspect over-setting or a deep false set, release tension briefly to reset the pins, then reapply tension and start over.
Final Steps and Adjustment
To summarize the key points: apply light tension and focus on identifying and setting the binding pins first, regardless of their type. Use appropriate techniques for spool, serrated, and standard pins, considering the specific requirements of the key bitting pattern. Use the jiggle test to confirm pin settings and identify pins needing further adjustment. If the lock does not open after setting all pins, recheck for false sets and reset if necessary. By following these detailed steps and understanding the specific characteristics of each pin, you can effectively pick the PACLOCK 90A-PRO. Practice will help you develop a feel for the subtle feedback from each pin, improving your precision and success rate.
That's it !
Please let me know what you all think ? I am sure that it's still not as precise as experienced human lock pickers ..... but I am still quite amazed !
Maybe if the mods find it interesting it could count as my requirements for other belts :relaxed::relaxed::relaxed::relaxed::relaxed:

2024.05.18 20:21 Good-Name1661 What is wrong with AirPods and HomePods these days handing off?

I have been a MacBook user since 2007 and have enjoyed the experience with every iteration. I have regularly upgraded to new devices over the years until the iPad Pro and now use that as my daily driver (using my 2021 M1 for this post).
My company bought me a MacBook Air M2 this past year and everything started out great. Throughout the last year, I am noticing problems with the AirPods Pro 2 w/USB case. I also have an iPhone 15 Pro Max. I am stating all of this only to say that I have current devices so, this post is not misunderstood as me trying to get a bunch of old tech to work.
I have 5 Apple TVs, 10 HomePod Miniā€™s, and 2 HomePod 2ā€™s.
Here is a scenario that I face regularly. I have my MacBook Air plugged in and running and will have a podcast running on my phone with my AirPods in. I get a mail notification and it stops my podcast, plays the mail alert and then stays connected to my MacBook Air. Then, I have to struggle with getting the AirPods connected back to my iPhone.
The other problem that I have been fighting over the last several weeks is on my Apple TVs. I have a set of HomePod Miniā€™s as the default audio on my bedroom Apple TV and HomePod 2ā€™s connected to my living room Apple TV. I get errors mostly on my living room Apple TV telling me that I cannot connect to my airplay speakers. I can try again or, i can cancel and use the TV speakers.
Last night, just to make sure that I had everything rebooted, I killed the main breaker to my house. I left it offline for several minutes and then reconnected. My Apple TVs took a little extra time to reconnect but, that seemed to fix it. I am not sure how long things will work well but, itā€™s kinda fixed now.
As for my computeiphone handoff to AirPods, I have gone to using my Soundcore Q35 over the ear headphones and it is only paired with the computer.
I am not necessarily asking for help but, curious if this is happening to anyone else. ~Dan

2024.05.18 19:37 catfarmer1998 How to get the most years out of a refurbished MacBook Pro?

Hi. Iā€™ve recently come into possession of a 2019 MacBook Pro. This is my first MacBook Pro Iā€™ve owned. (Iā€™ve had experience with multiple iMacs and MacBooks and of course the IOS devices). It sounds like it was barely used before I got it. Recently Iā€™ve been using a 2020 MacBook Air which seems to have not the best battery and a slow operating system. Anyhow, I didnā€™t have much choice in the model/year, someone was getting rid of their MBP and offered it to me. Even though it sounds like it hasnā€™t been used, given the fact that itā€™s technically older than my MBA, I was just curious if there was a way to predict how long the machine might work for me, and if there is any ways to prolong the life of the machine. I would hope it could still run anywhere from 1-3 years+? Iā€™m Also slightly concerned because the biggest issue I had with the MacBook Air is the lightening port would accept the charger sometimes but other times I would plug it in, conform it was working and then leave, but then I would come back several hours to find it not charging. I was thinking that my computer would have the magnet charger. So Iā€™m concerned Iā€™m going to have a similar issue with this one. I was also wondering if MacBook pros have a longer lifespan than MacBook airs in general (are they a ā€œbetterā€ machine)? And to prolong that lifespan should I be shutting it down every day? I want to take care of it very well.
I will say that my mom has a 2013 ish MacBook that she uses so she doesnā€™t have to pay for the Adobe and itā€™s slow but still works. So I hope overall itā€™s a more powerful machine than the MBA even if it does have the USBC charger.
Any advice is appreciated. Thank you.

2024.05.18 15:15 como365 Republican infighting marked 2024 legislative session

JEFFERSON CITY ā€” The 2024 legislative session that ended Friday seemed more a referendum on Republican Party loyalty than a collective venture toward policy.
Constant infighting among Republicans over priorities and which ones were truly conservative led to days-long filibusters, name calling and the death of many conservative bills, including a top party priority: making it more difficult to amend the Missouri Constitution.
The divisions were so ingrained that the Senate Democrats, holding 10 seats in a 34-person body, delivered the deciding votes on some of the session's most important bills.
The hard-right Freedom Caucus has said their issue with mainstream Republican leaders in the legislature is a lack of dedication to ā€œbig redā€ policies like reducing personal property tax and preventing foreign countries from owning Missouri land.
Looking back at previous sessions, that argument doesnā€™t quite stack up. In the last several years Republicans have passed one of the nation's most strict abortion bans, limitations on transgender health care and enacted several income tax cuts.
The Freedom Caucus went to great lengths to disrupt Senate procedure and strong-arm leadership in an effort to pass their highest priority, changes to the initiative petition process. The impact was that they were tossed off Senate committees by the Republican leadership and later in the session failed to convince their Republican colleagues to embrace their priorities.
Less than two weeks before the constitutional deadline for the budget and with an important federal health care reimbursement that creates over $4 billion in revenue, Freedom Caucus members filibustered for 41 hours with the demand that leadership first bring up a resolution changing the approval threshold for state constitutional amendments.
Going into the last week of session, initiative petition reform still had not passed.
This week, the Freedom Caucus supported a motion among Republicans to end the Democratic filibuster on the issue through an extraordinary motion ā€” the previous question ā€” that hasnā€™t been used in the Senate since 2020. But only 16 Republicans would support that plan, which needed 18 votes, so it was never brought before the floor.
With that failure on Wednesday, the resolution was sent back to the House, which refused to budge on Thursday and sent it back to the Senate. On Friday the Senate adjourned without any further action and the effort died.
The failure to pass the resolution making initiative petition changes showed the inability of even a supermajority to act when splintered on such chaotic, disruptive lines.
Senate President Pro Tem. Caleb Rowden, R-Columbia, said that this session showed that more can get done through compromise than confrontation.
"I'm walking out of here as a guy that has basically accomplished everything I wanted to accomplish and I did it in a way that was respectful and collegial," Rowden said in a press conference after adjournment.
Senate Minority Leader John Rizzo, R-Independence, backed up that point saying, "I don't think Democrats won or Republicans lost (the session), I think decorum won."
Fiscal Year 2025 budget
A set of constitutionally mandated bills that fund the state's operations passed just three hours before the May 10 deadline. The final budget is $51.7 billion, $1 billion less than what the governor proposed, and about $2 billion less than last year's budget.
Three things stuck out in this year's budget: Infrastructure continued to be a major focus, spending was reduced to come in line with revenue projects and numerous members on both sides of the aisle were frustrated by the lack of transparency in the process.
Over the last two years, about $3.5 billion has been put into widening I-70 to six lanes statewide and I-44 in the southwestern part of the state. Both projects are about equally funded through debt and general revenue. The budget that was approved is expected to reduce the state surplus to about $1.5 billion.
Up-to-date numbers from the Office of Administration show a more rosy revenue picture than anticipated. So far Fiscal Year 2024 revenue receipts are up 2.7% year over year. That's far higher than the projected .2% growth in revenue used to craft the budget. If that revenue continues at the same pace and with a current general fund balance of over $4 billion there is a chance the state's surplus will hardly be tapped over the next year.
The declining budget also represents a return to normal state budgeting. Since the pandemic, states have received an unprecedented influx of federal COVID relief and infrastructure cash. That has led to record high appropriations that oftentimes don't get spent. In the FY 2023 budget, $10 billion of the $48 billion appropriated was never used. In 2018, only $2 billion of the $28 billion budget was left unspent.
No public comment was taken during the budget process and meetings between the House and Senate where the final budget package was finalized only existed behind closed doors. Senators only had a few minutes to review the bills before voting on them and House members had little time to debate as they passed the budget just hours before the constitutional deadline.
This backdoor process drew criticism from Democrats, Freedom Caucus members and the governor as many felt out of the loop.
Elections and initiative changes Fighting over changes that would make it harder to amend the Missouri Constitution again put the brakes on normal operating procedures on the Senate floor this session.
The Freedom Caucus has more than once sent the Senate into disarray over a piece of legislation that again failed to cross the finish line after years of attempts.
The legislation, sponsored by Sen. Mary Elizabeth Coleman, R-Arnold, would have asked voters whether the current threshold to amend the state constitution ā€” a simple majority, or 50% plus one ā€” should be raised to also require a majority vote in at least five of the stateā€™s eight congressional districts.
This yearā€™s proposal included two provisions that led the chamber to several lengthy filibusters totaling more than 100 hours. In addition to the threshold requirement, the provisions would ask voters to bar noncitizens from voting on constitutional amendments and to ban constitutional amendments sponsored by foreign governments.
These provisions are already state law and Democrats made a point of filibustering against those provisions.
Republicans this session also pushed a resolution that would ban ranked-choice voting in Missouri. SJR 78 was passed by the House on Friday. The question will now go to voters to decide.
Ranked-choice voting is a practice where voters rank their preferred candidates on a single ballot until a winner is declared after receiving a majority of the vote. The idea is to give voters more options once their top-ranked choice is eliminated by distributing their vote to their next preferred candidates. Opponents said the practice does the exact opposite by splitting the vote.
While it is not in state law, St. Louis practices a version of ranked-choice voting that will be protected if the ban passes.
Education bill An omnibus education bill, SB 727, raising the minimum teacher salary, allowing charter schools in Boone County and providing private school scholarships to low-income students, has already been signed into law by Gov. Mike Parson. The provisions of the bill, approved by the minimum vote required in the House, are estimated to cost the state $468 million.
The new state minimum salary for teachers is set at $40,000 a year beginning with the next school year and includes additional incentives for teachers with longer careers and those with masterā€™s degrees.
The voucher-like scholarship program for private school students offers up to $6,375 per child for expenses such as tuition, textbooks and transportation. The program is funded by private donors who can claim tax credits.
The size of the bill ballooned from 12 pages to more than 150 because of amendments in the Senate. House leaders blocked amendments so that the bill would not have to be returned for another vote in the Senate out of concern it would die because of filibusters on other topics.
The law requires a public vote to approve any switch to four-day school weeks while providing incentives to schools that stick with five-day weeks.
New crime provisions A major public safety bill that passed during the final House session on Friday made changes to how children are viewed in the court system, increased punishment for various crimes and limited the authority of citizen police review boards, among other items.
The bill tracks legislation passed last year, except for two technical provisions that prompted a veto by Parson. The law increases the age under which children could be considered adults in felony offenses from 12 to 14.
On July 4, 2011, Blair Shanahan Lane was killed by reckless celebratory gunfire. A portion of the bill dubbed "Blair's Law" creates penalties for such activity. After the bill passed on a bipartisan basis Friday, House members rose for a round of applause directed at Blair Lane's mother, who was in attendance.
The bill also creates "Valentine's Law" raising punishments for fleeing a law enforcement stop. It is named for St. Louis County Detective Antonio Valentine, who died in a crash pursuing a person fleeing police.
And there is a provision known as "Max's Law" that increases punishment for injuring or killing law enforcement K-9 dogs.
Sludge regulations House Bill 2134, which would create new regulations for wastewater sludge under the Missouri Clean Water Act, gained bipartisan approval and was signed by Parson.
The bill gained traction as concerns about waste lagoons and land application practices by Arkansas-based Denali Water Solutions have been brought to light. The new law prevents companies like Denali from applying waste as fertilizer without a regulatory process and testing.
Denali was previously forced to cease operations in Missouri after 6,000 gallons of slaughterhouse waste spilled into a field, causing residents to complain about the smell and runoff concerns.
Regulatory Sandbox Act The House Friday gave final approval to SB 894 creating an avenue for new companies offering innovative products to be excused from meeting some state regulations for the first 24 months that they begin offering innovative products to consumers.
Companies would be required to apply and meet certain criteria to participate in the program.
The bill also creates an Office of Entrepreneurship within the Department of Economic Development that will promote policies and initiatives to support the growth of entrepreneurship of Missouri-based businesses with less than ten employees.
Eviction moratorium A bill passed on Friday barred any municipality from enacting an eviction moratorium. The bill, SB 865, comes in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic when cities across the country prevented landlords from evicting tenets. Realtors and apartment associations spoke in favor of the bill as they feel moratoriums violate the rights of property owners.
National Guard deployment Parson signed a bill on May 8 approving additional funding for a Missouri National Guard deployment to the southern border. The governor traveled to Eagle Pass, Texas, to sign House Bill 2016 into law and visit with members who have been deployed since March.
ā€œThe battle that weā€™re fighting down here at the border is keeping it from happening in our own borders, in our own state in Missouri,ā€ Parson said before signing the bill.
Members of the National Guard are assisting with Operation Lone Star after being invited by Texas Gov. Greg Abbott. Operation Lone Star is a state-level border security effort at the Texas-Mexico border that began in 2021.
The $2.2 million in funding supports the operations of approximately 200 National Guard members and 22 Missouri State Highway Patrol officers for 90 days. Since the start of their mission, only around 50 guardsmen and 22 members of the highway patrol have served in Texas.
Sports wagering moves ahead After years of failed attempts to get legalization through the Missouri General Assembly, sports gambling appears to have found a more promising path.
Early in May, the Winning for Missouri Education committee along with a coaltion of Missouri professional sports teams submitted over 340,000 signatures for a ballot initiative to the Secretary of State's office desk.
If the Secretary of State verifies that enough signatures are genuine, the question would be put to voters in November. Thirty-eight other states have legalized some form of sports wagering.
The petition proposes a 10% tax on wagers to be collected by the Department of Revenue, deposited into the state treasury and credit to the "Gaming Proceeds for Education Fund," raising a projected $35 million.
Approximately $5 million in funds from the sports wagering tax would go into a fund to help compulsive gamblers and the rest would go to public school and higher education programs.
Child tax credits Bipartisan support and a State of the State address plug by Parson helped two bills, SB 742 and HB 1488, which would add provisions allowing for tax credits related to child care services to reach the Senate floor for consideration.
However, opposition from Freedom Caucus members of the Senate stalled action both in an effort to advance bills they felt deserved more priority and out of a general dislike of tax credits. The Senate version is sponsored by Sen. Lauren Arthur, D-Kansas City, while the House bill is sponsored by Rep. Brenda Shields, R-St. Joseph.
Protecting IVF House and Senate bills to protect in vitro fertilization clinics got a flurry of attention but did not advance following an Alabama state court ruling that relied on a state abortion ban to restrict in vitro fertilization clinics.
The Missouri Court of Appeals in St. Louis ruled in 2016 that IVF-created embryos were a matter of ā€œmarital property of special order.ā€ This has provided legal protection for doctors and patients in the IVF field.
However, that court ruling cited abortion protection offered by Roe Vs. Wade, which was overturned in 2022. With Missouri having a similar abortion ban to the one in Alabama, leading advocates and lawmakers alike are concerned about what could lie ahead.
Sen. Tracy McCreery, D-Olivette, filed SB 1486 which would specify that Missouri's abortion ban does not have a definition that includes in vitro fertilization embryos that have not been implanted in a body. Rep. Bill Allen, R-Kansas City, filed House Bill 2845 which states that the IVF process is protected under law and no one can be prosecuted for undergoing or administrating IVF.
Here is what happened to other legislative topics that garnered attention during the session but did not pass:
Protections for pesticide maker: HB 2763, sponsored by Rep. Dane Diehl, R-Butler, would have protected pesticide manufacturers from claims that they failed to warn consumers of possible cancer risks in their products as long as the federal Environmental Protection Agency has approved those products.
Much of the debate before the House approved the bill focused on Bayer, the company with U.S. headquarters in St. Louis that purchased Monsanto, the original manufacturer of RoundUp pesticide. According to The Associated Press, the company is seeking to stem a tide of lawsuits claiming that Bayerā€™s products cause cancer.
Diehl, a farmer, said he drafted the legislation out of fear that Bayer would be forced to pull RoundUp off of the market, harming farmers ability to grow crops. The bill never made it to the Senate floor for consideration.
Presidential primaries: New voting laws passed in 2022 eliminated the presidential primary in Missouri. Following low voter turnout in this yearā€™s Republican presidential caucus, SB 1120 and HB 2618, which would reinstate presidential primaries, passed out of their respective committees. The House bill passed with amendments that would create new residency restrictions for candidates vying for U.S. Congress. Ultimately, neither bill got floor consideration.
The Taylor Swift Act: Bills in both the House and Senate sought to address the impact of problematic images created by artificial intelligence but did not make it into law. While ten states provide some form of retribution for this type of crime, only Minnesota and New York statutes allow for both civil and criminal relief.
The Taylor Swift Act, House Bill 2573, offered by Rep. Adam Schwadron, R-St. Charles, targeted fake pornographic images. The bill was approved by the Special Committee on Innovation and Technology but never received a floor vote. The name of the bill referred to explicit AI-created images of the singer that went viral in January.
A similar bill, Senate Bill 1424, sponsored by Sen. Travis Fitzwater, R-Holts Summit, did not get a hearing.
Media Literacy: Companion bills, House Bill 1513 and Senate Bill 1311, aimed to teach students about media and digital literacy. Neither bill advanced.
Danny's Law: Legislation that sought to protect 911 callers from prosecution when calling to report a hazing incident stalled in the House. The bill was named after former University of Missouri student Danny Santulli, who suffered irreparable brain damage after drinking too much when pledging a fraternity at MU in the fall of 2021.
Dannyā€™s Law was meant to offer exoneration to those involved in hazing incidents if theyā€™re the first to call for emergency help.
ā€œAs the mother of three college-age men, I understand this is a major issue,ā€ said Rep. Jo Doll, D-St. Louis, who spoke during a March 7 committee hearing. ā€œItā€™s really important to give kids the ability to call 911 without being afraid of the consequences to them.ā€
Protecting major water users: House Bill 2669, which sought to limit information being released to the public about major water users, was approved by a House committee but failed to get a floor vote. The bill was meant to protect the information of Missouriā€™s family farmers and would keep information about individually identifiable water users from being disclosed to the public.
Highway Commission changes: A bill, House Bill 2568, that would have changed the makeup of the Missouri Highways & Transportation Commission was voted down in a committee in Apri. Two other bills that would have either changed the makeup of the commission or done away with it altogether failed to move forward after being the subject of public hearings in early February.
Nursing restrictions: Missouri is one of only a few states not to allow nurse practitioners to practice independently without the authority of a physician. A House committee passed an amended version of one bill, HB 1773, sponsored by Rep. Chad Perkins, R-Bowling Green, that would allow nurses to practice independently after 6,000 hours of work under a physician's supervision. The bill was never placed on the House calendar, a roadblock which some nurses point to opposition from House Floor Leader Rep. Jonathan Patterson, R-Leeā€™s Summit.
Dmitry Martirosov, Molly Miller, Aidan Pittman, Grant Green and Madeline Shannon contributed to this story.
Cover image: State Representative Chantelle Nickson-Clark(cq) throws her papers at the end of the legislative session on Friday, May 17, 2024 at the Statehouse in Jefferson City. Nickson-Clark was the first Black woman elected to represent District 67 in St. Louis County in Nov. 2022.

2024.05.18 04:36 bandley3 Work in progress

Work in progress
After my old gaming machine wouldnā€™t boot I decided that it was finally time to update using the parts I bought several months back. Micro Center screwed up and I managed to snag a 12600KF, MSI Z790 Pro motherboard and 16GB of RAM for $129.
I didnā€™t realize how bad my old machine was running as I didnā€™t use it all that much. The cooler was packed with lint and mice had attacked the USB hub. My new place doesnā€™t have the same mouse problem so Iā€™ll probably be OK.
Iā€™m using my trusty old Cooler Master Sniper case, mostly because I like 5.25ā€ bays and will fill them all. Itā€™s also rather spacious so working on it is relatively easy. Iā€™m using the 32GB of RAM from my previous system, as well as most of the SSDs; the boot and FS drives will be m.2 drives, something Iā€™ve not used until now. This board has room for four, so Iā€™ll be OK for now. I just hope that this board doesnā€™t share m.2 slots with SATA ports as my last one did.
Itā€™s clean now, but will get a little messier as I add the various 5.25ā€ devices. Iā€™m trying to keep the wiring neat and clean, something I didnā€™t really focus on in previous builds.
I prefer my computers to neither be seen nor heard, so all RGB connections have been ignored, and the lighting circuitry for the case disconnected. Some devices, like the GPU, may still light up a little but the computer will be under the desk so I can just ignore that.
More pictures to follow once I install the boot drive; Iā€™m currently transferring data off of it now. This is also my first foray into liquid cooling so weā€™ll see how that goes. I should have the basics set up and plugged in so Iā€™ll be able to give it a go tomorrow after work.

2024.05.18 03:30 TropicalAirborne Amazon DELTA 2 with 2PCS 100w for $777. I am new, I have questions, please can you advise?

I live on a small Caribbean island and shipping in lithium iron phosphate batteries is an expensive, lengthy hassle. I have to pay import tax, shipping tax plus hundreds extra for a hazardous materials customs inspection. So I want to make sure I get everything right before ordering.
Iā€™m facing increasing risk of serious hurricanes, and so Iā€™m trying to plan to keep my family safer. Iā€™m new to solar power. Iā€™m learning as fast as I can.
I already have a River Pro. I have gas generators, but gasoline runs out fast on an island after a catastrophic storm. I canā€™t rely on it.
I have saved up and I want to buy a Delta 2 with solar panels and there is what looks like an amazing Amazon deal on right now.
I would like advice on
Is this amazon deal as good as it looks?
How long to full charge a Delta 2 in tropical sunshine?
Can I charge with solar and an inverter generator at the same time?
THE MOST IMPORTANT- I need extension cables at least 15 feet long and preferably 25 feet, so I can work inside with my devices, and fans plugged in while connected to the solar panels outside. What extension Cannes do I need to buy from Amazon?
Thank you so much for any help you can offer me

2024.05.18 00:53 evelynddddddd How to fix my apple pencil?

Hi there! Iā€™m not sure if this is really the right place to be asking but iā€™m really running out of ideas for where to look for help. I have an iPad Pro along with my apple pencil, iā€™m not sure which one it is, but it dosent have the iPad plug in on the bottom. For some reason my apple pencil just stopped working and connecting to my iPad all together yesterday. I will attach it to my iPad and it will just flash ā€œApple Pencilā€ at the top of the screen but it wonā€™t show the battery percentage or show as connected in my bluetooth settings. Iā€™ve tried everything I could find online to reset it and iā€™m worried that it stopped working all together because my warranty had just run out for it. Does anybody have any opinions or tips on how to fix it or what I should do? Anything would be appreciated, thank you.

2024.05.18 00:10 LightTheorem DJI FPV Remote Controller 3 not being detected in Flight Simulator on PC

The title basically says it all. When I open the simulator on PC, and it appears on Android as well, and click the Controller that is marked with a line through it (as if it's not connected, when it is) - It says "plug in remote controller 2", but this isn't the remote controller 2, it's the remote controller 3.
I'll be incredibly annoyed if the simulator isn't compatible with the remote controller 3, kind of like how the DJI Goggles 2 work with the DJI Mavic 3 series (Pro, Cine, Air) but the DJI Goggles 3, the newer version, only supports the DJI Mini 4 and the Mavic 3 Air; Absolutely absurd.
Has anyone used the simulator with the DJI Controller 3?
Firmware on all devices (drone, controller, headset) are updated, DJI Assistant and Flight Simulator both installed on PC. PC is AMD 7950x3d w/nVidia RTX 4090 and 64gb of DDR5 ram, so plenty of computing power to run the simulator.

Incott GHERO 8KHz Review
*Disclaimer*
This mouse was sent out to me by MechKeys.com, but that doesn't affect my opinions in the review.
Incott GHERO 8KHz - White

UNBOXING

The unboxing experience is very straight to the point. You simply remove the film attached to the skates and plug in the mouse. There's also universal style griptape included which is actually pretty cool compared to ones only specifically made for the mouse. However, it can be a bit of a hassle pairing the 8k dongle, which MechKeys have provided more detailed instructions for with translations recently. The bottom of the mouse has switch options for on and hz, and I have no idea what the difference is when trying out both.
Specs:

What's in the box
Weight (62g on my scale)

BUTTONS

Main Clicks
Out of the box, the click tolerance is quite tight so there was no movement whatsoever and both pre- and post-travel were extremely minimal. This gave the clicks a tight/bit stiff type of feeling, so the tactility felt more spread throughout the buttons with a quick, somewhat dull snap. They eventually loosen up and become crispier & tactile feeling with some "thinness" introduced, which I quite enjoy. They feel on the lighter end of medium in tension. My right click did seem to develop some vertical wobble though, which is audible when shaken, but it's not something that affects performance in-use. Regardless, it's a top notch implementation and I love the click feeling.
Scrollwheel & Side Buttons
The scrollwheel features a similar rubber band to the one's on xtrfy mice. I like the texture and it's grippy enough. As for scrolling, the notches are light, yet defined ā€“ tactile and pronounced enough between each step. I really like it, though it did develop a squeek when scrolling down quickly at a certain angle. Side buttons are a bit dull in tactility, but they're small, pill-shaped, and easy to reach.
sound test (video)

COATING, CABLE, SKATES, & BUILD QUALITY.

The coating is stated to be matte on the regular version and a uv surface for the pro. The regular version is grippy, dryish-feeling, and somewhat grainy textured. It's works pretty well for my dry hands, though there are more premium types of coatings out there. The cable is decent; a little on the stiffer side, but that's to be expected with most of these budget mice. The stock skates are quite nice in my experience. They pick up texture quite well and feel almost as smooth as aftermarket options. It feels like they provide a little less friction than corepads.
The weight is good and low enough, though I do personally wish it were in the lower 50s. In terms of build quality, everything seems exceptional. The shell feels extremely solid. As mentioned, the right mouse button and scrollwheel did develop audible play, but they aren't any thing that affect actual performance of the mouse. It does make you question whether anything serious will come up in the long term though, but this only occurred on my personal copy, so your mileage may vary.

SHAPE

My hands are 19.5x10cm and I use a relaxed claw grip. Before describing the shape, here's how I grip the Incott GHERO:
contact points & grip style
The Incott GHERO is essentially a slightly larger size clone of the vaxee np-01s. Their dimensions are quite similar, as can be seen on eloshapes, but the difference in width is definitely noticeable, and there are subtle changes in some areas of the shape. For example, the hump on the GHERO is a little roundeless squarish, so it's a bit safer in palm placement ā€“ though not as "locked-in" feeling grip-wise. This characteristic makes me enjoy the GHERO more. Even though the length is practically the same, the pronounced area on the np-01s' squarish hump made me rest my hand a little farther back to avoid having it protrude deeper into my palm than I'd like. This, coupled with the length-to-width ratio, made the np-01s feel slightly elongated/longer than I'd prefer in-hand. I just have a lot more freedom in where I want to place my palm on the GHERO, which makes it more comfortable for me to grip overall.
For me, the width on the GHERO also feels perfect. The thinner width on the np-01s had my ring finger extended forward and I would hit the front bump, which caused discomfort/fatigue during longer sessions. It may also be that the np-01s is just bumpier at the front with its curvature as well, but I don't have one anymore on-hand to compare directly. The asymmetric design on the right-hand side provides a nice slant out towards the back that allows me to freely rest my pinky where I want along the curve, while the thumb curve provides good support. I've just really been enjoying the shape. All the curvature and contours provide a consistent point of contact, though I can't quite give them all the credit for it. If you've been in search of a slightly larger np-01s, I can definitely recommend this.

SOFTWARE, 8K DONGLE, & BATTERY LIFE

The ghero comes at 8ms debounce by default and can be lowered to 1ms at the lowest. The scrollwheel LED lights up red after hitting 33% (I think?). The software doesn't tell you the exact battery percentage and only the bar. The LED shines red while charging, and returns to its normal applied setting after being fully charged. There seems to be a bug that turns off the led while charging even though it's not full yet. The mouse also becomes buggy below 33%, so I would advise charging it once you notice it blinking. The mouse charges quite quickly as it only took me around 20-30 minutes to go from 33% to full charge.
As for with the 8k dongle, there is an led on it to indicate your dpi and battery level. The packaging tells you the specific numbers, which I'll provide an image of below. You can change what info is being displayed on the dongle through the software, and can basically have it off until it hits 33% battery when selecting the "Battery Warning Only" option. Pairing the dongle is another story, but MechKeys does provide detailed instructions with translations on their product page, so I'd definitely go through that carefully.

PROS & CONS

+amazing claw-centric "inspired" shape
+crispy light-mediumish clicks (starts off stiff/tighter-feeling, but breaks in)
+light to scroll and decently defined, tactile scroll
+side buttons small, easy to reach, and out of the way; somewhat dull tactility though
+grippy, somewhat grainy matte coating
+good stock skates & weight balance
+variety of color options (orange, red, white, black, yellow, & pink)
+includes extra griptape
+supports 8k (dongle purchased separately)
+good quality for the price ($49.99 for ghero, $59.99 for pro, $12.99 for 8k dongle)
=personally wish it was a little lighter
-developed right click button rattle & scrollwheel squeeking (YMMV)
-inconsistent software experience using 8k dongle
