So to clarify 1 I am British so my terms my confuse people. 2. This happened in summer 2021 and also a heatwave. 3. names are changed for GDPR purposes.
I use to work in a care home for MJ a beautiful lady in her 30's with physical and learning disability also blind with fragile bones (which is important later). MJ a little petty and finds being naughty or cheeky hilarious.
I was out on a girly shopping trip for new wardrobe as MJ had drastically gained a lot of weight during over 18 months due to physio and hydro being cancelled due to covid and building work. Due to her needs her wheelchair is a little longer and bulkier than the average and her right leg support is straight out as she cant bend it . (also important for later), Also I have to explain what's going on every few minute so MJ knows what's going on and MJ doesn't always know if she's involved in conversations so this is also explained.
After a lovely brunch is a department store we headed down in lift. To resume the shopping. This is when the incident occurred. due to the size of her wheelchair she takes up a good portion of the lift so I have no room to move, can only wheel in and reverse out. As the lift lowered I could hear children approx. 5 -9 in age and guessing 4 in total. The doors took there sweet time to open.
When they did I quietly swore because the store had a massive redesign during the lock down and what was once a nice clear area around the lift was now a narrow area surrounded by a sofa and display stands leaving me a very tight turning space. I then realised the children I heard where using this narrow space to play It/tag.
I called out to them to Excuse me let us through please. No answer from children and no parent telling them to move . Children still running. MJ is already in giggles as she has worked out things are not going to the plan.
I am now aware that the lift doors will shut again soon so reverse out a little to make sure the safety sensors keep doors open. Also hoping this means the children's adult might notice me better and control the little chaos.
I hoped to much and they got louder so I got LOUDER. I shouted You need to move now your in my way. MJ is now in tears because she thinks I'm shouting at her and is asking why. So I whisper to her to not worry its just some naughty children blocking our way out and I might need to yell at them again and she calms down.
This is when the boy who I think was the oldest replied "where not taking up that much space just walk around us." So waved him closer and he came over I explained the problem. " You see these handles I'm holding on to" he nodded "this means its not just me I need space to turn MJ around, so please give us that space and sit on sofa". His reply "my mummy got through okay with my sister is our pram so you get your baby through too". MJ has decided to join in by singing, "I'm not a baby, your a baby, move naughty naughty baby" . I then spot the mummy and wave my arms in the biggest motions possible to get her attention. But apparently the lacy bra she's examine her hand holds all her brain power.
So I shout again. "I'm going to count to 4 and if you kids are not out of my way that's your problem not mine anymore". 1, still kid chaos, 2 , 3, nothing 3 and a half, FOUR !. So I reverse in one quick motion. I'm amazed that I didn't hit walk in to anyone. I take a moment to asses the best route to go and yes the children are still running around. but I no longer care. So I choose go to the section on the left and to do that I have to turn slightly right step backwards line up the wheelchair then go foreword. And the smallest child chose that very moment to run out right in to MJ's right leg support. MJ starts laughing at me for being a bad driver think I hit a display with her leg. I whisper to her what's happened and she laughs more, shrugs and winks at me "oops you told them". Children run over to see there crying sibling and one runs off to tell mum about the mean lady. I check the little girl over (I'm first aid trained and she risked more harm to MJ then her) and went to shop. That's when mum finally appeared and yelled at me "Watch where your going, you Spazzie Retard you hit my kid."
So In the UK these are about the worst words you can use to describe a disabled person. I took the worlds biggest breath and willed my professional BS filter to sensor my inner rage. But MJ had my back. " I can't watch where I'm going I'm blind and she had to parent your kids because you were too busy, she meant to help me shop not babysit kids , good bye B\*ch". I smiled sweetly trying not to laugh and we left her shouting about court . A staff member came over to see if we okay and I explained the situation and they go kicked out of the store of endangering customers.*
After reporting this story to the manager she laughed (unofficially told me served the woman right) and told me to record it for policy just in case she memorised the logo on my badge .But I did not get into trouble. No one was harmed apart from a possible bruise on the child's leg.

The materials, resources and guidance is quite limited in conparision to UPSC or even RBI Grade B/NABARD and other banking exams.
This is my first attempt for any government exam so I am really confused about alot of things, I am not parallely preparing for any other exam fyi.
I am trying to use the wisdom of educators and toppers from other exams like RBI Grade B and UPSC and apply it to this one.
I have already taken a course from ixambee. Course does good work of covering all materials and explaining this still does not aspire confidence.
Here are my specific questions. It would be of great help if you guys can help.
1) How to prepare for General Awareness section for Paper 1 Phase 1, what is the ratio of static GK to current affairs, and are current affairs mostly financial current affairs or general current affairs?
2) If I take Brajesh Mohan's Current Affairs course which is mainly focused for RBI Grade B will it suffice or would I need to do something differently?
3) What is the level of quant, english and LR? The quant and LR in RBI is quite difficult so what would be a good benchmark for SEBI? Is it similar to CAT or more/less difficult?
4) How many months' current affairs preparation would suffice? Is Lucent enough for Static GK?
5) Regarding Economics is it similar to ESI from RBI minus the social issues part? Would Nitin Singhania or Vivek Singh be enough to cover Economics or should I read Mrunal or would it be too much?

You then get a paper that they send to you to print out, providing the test names and a way for Quest Diagnostics to send Honeydew the test results.

Hi! I (20F) have been on ozempic for 6 months now (1.0) due to PCOS, BED and an overweight BMI. For all the reasons I’ve been taking the medication, i’ve had great improvements. I never really had any side effects at all, during most of my treatment. About two months ago the delayed gastric emptying became more noticeable, and, after all, it is part of ozempic. However already at 1 month and half ago things worsened drastically. I ended up going to the ER 3 times in a single week, complaining of constant nausea, chronic pain (which i’ve had for years now, but got significantly worse), low grade fever and other infection signs (extremely swollen lymph nodes). I’ve done several exams (blood, urine, physical), but they couldn’t explain what’s happening. I can barely eat or drink liquids and even taking my usual prescription cause me to throw up. I’ve been trying to get in touch with my endocrinologist without any success (my state is going through a massive flood and it would be even impossible for me to go to his clinic since it’s in another city. Honestly, I can’t even tell if what I am experiencing is related to the medication or not, and I am scared to take a break without confirmation of my endocrinologist. Any advice or contributions are welcomed❤️

Yes, you read it right. I got a few admits and I will not be joining any of the colleges. Will be dropping MBA in general, as I have other plans. But, as I bid this community goodbye, wanted to give back in any tiny way possible.

I had registered for CAT on the very last day, with absolutely no idea of what the exam is, or if I am even planning for an MBA. As November came closer, I decided to give it a shot as an MBA would be something that suits me. I looked around to ask friends in IIMs on how to prepare with 15-20 days to go. Everyone had different strategies so I sat down to find some material. Everything seemed vague until I started checking out previous-year papers. (I personally have given 2 mocks, and solved all slots '19-'22). The patterns that evolved over the past decade, the most likely pattern for this year, and figured how I have around 1.5 mins per question to reach a rough score of 100. (I decided upon this as the fair average to be in the top 0.1/0.2 percentile based on results from '21-'24) While I state this simply, I did go through a lot of videos from creators, to Quora, to this very subreddit to get my information. And I must say that the first-hand accounts from here helped me all along.
Remember; CAT is strategy first, ability second kind of exam. I will keep different disparities out of this post, but would ask everyone to see this being based on bucketing. Yes, your gender, category, school-marks, UG field, all matter, but then don't think the entire pool is your competition. The percentile system makes one think like that, but it isn't the case. The competition is WITHIN your own bucket, find the scoring needed there. That math will go a long way and will keep you away from unnecessary excuses and debates.
General strategies:
I had applied for top 10ish colleges based on my personal suitability (+All checkboxes in CAT form ). Adding links to their interview experiences/transcripts here;
IIM A, C, FMS - NO call [A and B have non-public criteria, but generally B has more weightage to experience, while A has for diversity. C and especially FMS need raw marks in CAT]
SPJIMR - my first interview experience, got kicked out of round 1 IIM K - admit XLRI BM - admit IIM B - PGP + PGPBA admit IIM I - admit IIT B - waitlist in 20s but opted out to not block seat IIM L - admit IIFT - will probably get IIM Mumbai, IIM Shillong, XLRI HM, IIT Delhi - filled interview forms but didn't attend All other IIMs - skipped entirely
I cannot give any specific advice on interviews as things to work upon vary greatly from person to person. You can go through the above links, and ask questions if any, I will try to answer them.

Give mocks/prev year papers, find weakest section, compensate for loss there by gain elsewhere. - if strong in VARC, practice completing whole thing in 40mins (whatever the section time is), else tackle in order of strongest module first (RC/ordering/summarising/fill sentence). - in QA, put a hard limit of 1.5-2 mins per question when practicing. Choose only the sections/problems you are comfortable with, learn to solve them in the exam constraints first. There is no need to know everything, this isn't boards. - in DILR, know that 1/4 is enough, 2/4 is good, 3/4 and you can afford huge mistakes in VA/QA, but being able to solve 3/4 probably means you are very strong at reading and math, so no need to think here.I went on to give my CAT, and post that is when I got involved here the most. I was active when this community had 14k~ members, so it has grown significantly, in ways good and bad. But that's not the point. There are all kinds of people here, and therefore you should be able to find whatever you need amidst all the noise.

SPJIMR - my first interview experience, got kicked out of round 1 IIM K - admit XLRI BM - admit IIM B - PGP + PGPBA admit IIM I - admit IIT B - waitlist in 20s but opted out to not block seat IIM L - admit IIFT - will probably get IIM Mumbai, IIM Shillong, XLRI HM, IIT Delhi - filled interview forms but didn't attend All other IIMs - skipped entirely
I cannot give any specific advice on interviews as things to work upon vary greatly from person to person. You can go through the above links, and ask questions if any, I will try to answer them.

I am insanely frustrated that everyime I bring up the topic an getting an health insurance for them, they always end up shouting, acting defensive and spouting stupid logics.
Call me inhuman but I do not have any intention or desire to ever look after my parents or clean up after them when they grow old, or get sick or get severely injured in a accident. I just don't want to take care of anyone.
I currently have no job. I did have one for a short time and thought maybe I should buy the health insurance for them. I even looked out for some options too as I was looking to buy insurance for myself. Honestly, I was not really comfortable thinking how much I have to spend to buy those two extra insurances. However, I lost job before I could buy any.
They always shout that I don't have to take care of them, they already know I will never will ( that's truly what I want). However, I am scared I will be made to do it anyway (maybe out of guilt). My mom say stupid stuff like, "I will die if I get sick, you don't have to do anything." But the problem is you always (pr may be most of the time) don't die right after getting sick or meeting an accident and when you really do you leave a hefty bill that will be paid by your family members after spending a good amount of time on cleaning after and taking care of you which they did not enjoy (no matter how much you love someone, I can bet you will hate doing it anyway).
I do not want to pay, or loose my possible inheritance or spend time cleaning after them. I doubt if I will ever make enough to have a good retirement plan for myself. I don't it is practical to think that I even own a house. I don't even have money to go for masters either ( a reason why I won't make much). I am just counting on this house that I can return to when I grow old. I fear these people will end up selling it or something for their stupid logics for not having an health insurance.
My grandparents also died after suffering for year. .My grandfather had diabeties and my grandmother had liver cancer or something (my parents can't clearly say what that was). Both of them were bed ridden for years (not at the same time.). These two bright minds did take them to doctors initially and later just stopped by saying, tTh dOcToR sAiD nOtHiNg CaN bE dOnE nOW. I am not sure how true that was. All I saw that these two also did not enjoy cleaning after their sick parents either and I won't like it either. It is quite ironic that they often tell people how my grandparents sickness have put a strain on their finanaces and why we are suffering now and at the same time refuse to have their own insurances (just paving the same way for me to financial decay and mental physical and emotional frustration of paying for and cleaning after sick people.)
By the way, these also don't have any retirement plans or fund.
I just want to freaking die before these two people!!!!

Kalista and Varus had the versatility to go Lethality or On hit [Varus was 60-40 on hit vs Lethality while Kalista was 50-50]. Senna was heavily prioritized as she could do well even when behind in XP while her support can run TP and that would change the whole dynamic of the lane swaps. Only Crit ADC that found success was Lucian, Zeri could have probably contested the ADC pool but she was targetted with nerfs in the MSI patch. Draven is a good bully if you were feeling lucky
Support: Lane bully Marksmen: Ashe had the highest presence due to being the #1 lane bully, Kalista support was in the cards if you are Keria
Engage supports: Nautilius was the go to engage support then maybe Alistar, Rell turned out to be a fraud, Poppy if it is a G2 series, Rakan if you were in play ins and didn't figure out that Xayah and Rakan fell off a cliff.

How effective was the MSI patch in introducing new champions to pro play meta?
Draven, Leblanc, Hwei, J4 and Akali all had some sizeable presence in MSI so the buffs had good effect meanwhile Ryze, Galio, Kai'sa, Jhin and Thresh didn't really get picked up despite good buffs.
Personally I liked the MSI meta, lane swaps weren't as boring as many predicted them to be as there were different takes on it and cheese strats were fun to watch. It's not like much happened in the first four levels of the game when there were no lane swaps
Top laners still had agency at least more than last MSI. Mid could have used more variety as it was only scaling mages but GenG series showed that picks such as Yone and Jayce were all perfectly fine. We saw different types of junglers work so it confirms that its just pros playing comfort rather than these different junglers being bad in pro play
ADC could have used more crit ADCs other than Lucian. I wish that Zeri didn't get nerf, she would still have lower prio than the other lethality/on hit adcs but would at least open more angles for crit ADC in draft. Support meta was good although I also wish they didn't delay the ranged HoB nerfs to 14.10 as it would have severely weakened these lane bully ADCs and specifically Ashe support
