I'm sorry, but you had the misfortune of stumbling on to, and becoming a victim to one of my adhd hangup posts,
They tend to become way to long, i haven't learned any ways to stop myself yet , new to the whole diagnose thing,
I have been struggling with it since like the end of kindergarten ,beginning of school, without knowing what it was.
And when I was to old for non stop hyper all waking second of the day,
I was so scared of being weird and fit in even less than I did, and scared to do something at home, so they would start thinking i was weird and not like me either..
So I hid it as best i could, i took everything that came with that and pushed it as far down and hid it as i just could managed , had some small outlets when I was alone at home, and the times i cracked at home, it was either against my Brothers, and because of lack of selfregulation, it was either exploding with anger, crying hystericly, screaming as loud and as long my lungs and voice would let me from irritation or frustration, or having the same extremes with positive feelings, they most likely thought i was a normal part bipolar, part psychopath, part spoilt rotten daddys little Princess who gets everything she wants, never gets in trouble, and can get us in trouble with just one cry or one word, and part sweet, happy , Nice littlesister, you know the kind of babysister every big Brother, most of the time, have? And it's normal for a kid to be a hyper sometimes, but I had a childhood being scared to be me, tummyaches all the time for the stress and work, physical and mental symptoms getting slowly worse with time, and buhu, i had it so bad, millon kids had it a millon times worse, but it still wasn't plesant and 10/10 would not recomend! It's been about 20 years since I had the lightbulb moment what might be going on with me, had no idea how to move forward, thought it cost a lot of money to get it checked out, didn't have any money, now, at the end of my 30's i get it, so not learned how to stopp the long rants, but it get here some day, maybe when I get on the medication, start testing soon, which I look very much forward too. The moment i went from wondering if I had it, to knowing without knowing, if you get it, was one night after way to much alcohol, and a supersurge in inpulsivity, have it all the time, but it usually just make me online shop to much or buy something unhealty stuff to eat , and waaay to much of it, I want chips, candy, chocolate, some cookies or baked goods, and some full fat soda, and eat everything today? Sure go ahead, no worries,
But that night i did that one illegal thing, that if someone with adhd do it, their reaction to it is almost polar oposite of normal people?
It was the best few hours of my life, I hade peace and quiet , and a lot of the unvolentairy movements took a little break for the first time that I could remember,
It was the best thing I ever did, and that scared the shit out of me, and I kept away after,
that peace and quiet could had me addicted if I got to have it one to many times,
could most done a few times before stopping, but it was better to be safe than sorry,

TWs: Suicidal Ideation and Active Planning
Easy Background Information I am a 24 y/o guy who has struggled with mental health my entire life. I've experienced passive suicidal ideation (SI) since I was 8 years old. My fiancée is a 25 year old woman who has also struggled with mental health most of her life due to an early trauma at the age of 3. She manages her schizophrenia and bipolar disorder with medication, but she is not currently in therapy.
The two of us are on waiting lists for sliding scale options in our area (US) and I am currently unemployed. I'll call my fiancée Eleanor (fake name) for the purposes of this post and will not be sharing detailed information about our history of trauma aside from giving the basic idea around those traumas when relevant to ensure anonymity.
The Complex Stuff - I edited this down... Four years ago I was kicked out of my mother's house during a depressive episode because I was not looking for work. During this time, I couch surfed between friends who had the space to house me for a few days at a time. One of those people was my boyfriend (Zack, 24) at the time, he had a girlfriend he wanted to introduce me to and I was interested in meeting Eleanor at the time, so I agreed. He set up the meeting and made sure that the two of us had one anothers Snapchats.
We began messaging every day and quickly became emotionally involved. As Zack, Eleanor, and myself are all polyamorous, we spoke about boundaries that everyone wanted to set and we were off to the races. Out first meeting was life changing for me. I had just been informed that my mother had let my 3 pets starve (they had all the supplies they needed for multiple months) and she had sent me a text on the day of our meeting to tell me they had died.
Needless to say that I was not doing well that day, but the meeting went fantastic. Our conversations flowed as well in person as they had over Snapchat and I know that I have a tendency to fall fast, so I tend to wait to reveal the intensity of my feelings of at all. After just a few weeks, it was early 2020 and lockdown began.
Eleanor was living in a college dorm at the time and offered her extra space to me. This extra space was a place in her bed and permission to share her private one bedroom dorm. I was adamant that it was a bad idea but the alternative was that I sleep in my car and not see her because she is immunocompromised and she said would have had to distance herself from me for safety. This decision was complicated by the fact that we were already in love with one another by this point, but we hadn't said it.
She insisted that it was the best option because she is considered a ward of the state and they couldn't kick her out of her dorm the way they were doing to everyone else. Her trauma at age 3 resulted in some odd privileges while in college and that was one of them. So, while many people were scrambling to find a place to go when the school told everyone they had to leave, Eleanor was cool, calm, and collected.
I moved in and she and I have been together since. I've even proposed. Now, here's the rub.
During this early stage in our relationship, I was homeless, severely mentally ill (unmedicated without therapy), and I was grieving both my pets and my relationship with my parents. I was experiencing SI every day without fail and I was confiding in Eleanor at her request. Our conversations got heavy and I expressed thoughts and feelings I hadn't shared with anyone else and she did the same. It was the start of a trauma bond.
The conversation that this whole situation pivots on is that Eleanor was asking about what it would take for us to become official. I told her that I didn't think it'd be a good idea since I would have to find somewhere to go once the school year ended and she would go to her dad's house in a different state. She said that she'd ask her dad if I could come with her and if he said no, she'd stay with me.
At 20, I thought this was insane (I still do.) but incredibly romantic and when her dad said no, she stayed with me. She was then (rightfully) devastated when I said that we couldn't officially date and asked me why. This conversation happened in the early morning and I should have slept instead of running my stupid fucking mouth.
I told her that I have desired to take my own life since I was 12, that I believe that that is how my life will end and I don't want to add another person that will be affected when it happens. I told her that my best friend took his own life when I was 16 and while I experienced the devastation first hand and watched our shared friends and his family grieve, I don't want to live until I naturally pass.
I told her that I think she's fantastic and she had lost her sister to a heroine overdose less than 8 months before this conversation, so I didn't want what I know I'm going to do, to be a part of her future history of trauma. She listened intently, leaning forward the whole time, I remember the image because it felt like she should've run away and her closeness was so comforting.
I didn't say it to simply hurt her, we had just told each other so many harsh truths that we hadn't shared with others that I trusted her with this deeply fucked up truth of mine. She said that was okay and that she understood while crying and kissed me. I knew the whole thing was bad when it happened, but with 4 years under our belt and a ring on her finger, I'm seeing the effects.
I'm currently suicidal and have been actively planning for nearly a year, I hid it for 9 months and finally told her about 3 months ago. She was devastated, but not for the reasons I thought. Today we had a longer conversation and she said that she wanted to fix it (which I expected) and then she said that she wished I hadn't hid it for so long. She said that she knows that I'll take my life at some point but she doesn't want to be surprised by it.
She revealed to me that she doesn't regret my telling her that I will take my own life someday, because it let her know that she needs to cherish every moment with me because she may not have a long time with me. I asked if she thought 4 years was a long time. She said yes, but that it also "feels like I met you yesterday." She broke down crying and said that thinking about losing me breaks her heart.
She said she doesn't think about that conversation every day or even very often, but she expressed feeling that when I take my life that no one will love her. That she'll never move on or "get over me". That she didn't feel cared for before me. That she feels like I'm the only person who knows her.
I realize now that she was already in love with me during that fateful conversation 4 years ago, we were both 20 and mentally ill. I feel I have inflicted a deep trauma on her and will in the future as well. I feel that becoming her first real love (her words) has forever tainted how she will experience and see love. I feel that I've ruined her ability to be happy when I'm gone.
She disabled and I'm her caregiver and medical advocate during appointments. I realize now that I took on all of these roles and she didn't learn how to fill them herself and while she says that her "life was going nowhere fast" and she "didn't know how to be happy, I think those are the thoughts of someone experiencing cognitive dissonance and my role in her life likely has done more damage than I ever realized before today.
Is there any way to undo the damage I've done and keep our future marriage intact? I'm currently seeking help for my SI and mental health issues to properly heal and hopefully manage the SI and mood swings I've been experiencing that have made things harder recently.
We plan to go to marriage counseling, focusing on the Gottman method and do not have a date set for our wedding because of my admission of suicidal ideation. I don't feel at all comfortable vowing to love them forever, feeling so confident in this belief that I will take my own life someday.
TLDR; I told my partner 4 years ago that I plan to take my own life someday and that I would not date her unless she understood and accepted that. I think it was traumatic, deeply messed up, and unintentionally coercive since she already had feelings for me during the conversation.
I want to undo the damage to their possible image of relationships, trust in themselves, and have active steps to move forward and support them as a healthy partner instead of perpetuating any of the beliefs that they have about themselves or their possible future aftewithout me. Whether that future is triggered by my death or the natural end of our relationship.

Have some trouble to recognize and remember people, like their faces and their names. To remember someone, I have to see a person trice in, lets say, one week, and after that week I need to see them once per 2 weeks, to actually remember them.
Doesn't matter if we have a deep conversation- if I don't see them again in a short period of time, I'll definitely forget about them. It also happens, that I introduce myself three or four times to the same person... some time in between, yes of course, but still...
I don't have a solution to handle it, there's like nearly every second day a situation, in which somebody recognises me but I don't.
Does somebody have the same problem, any tipps? Is it because I am more "popular", or because I'm surrounded by a lot of different human beings each day, or because I don't use instagram/social media, to get my head flushed with their everey-day appearance? Is it because of a lack of interest?

And now comes the fun part, once you download that audio, now use it as your alarm at 3:33 am. The reason I said 3:33 am is because every person has different sleep schedule. And here comes another interesting part, there's something called REM(Rapid Eye Movement) period: "The phase of sleep in which most dreams occur. During REM sleep, a person’s brain activity, breathing, heart rate, and blood pressure increase, and the eyes move rapidly while closed. And the REM period doesn't happen consistently it lasts up to 90mins each cycle. And i feel like the most common will be around 3am.(3:33 is just for being fancy - angel number). Altho You can use multiple alarms but i believe one should be good n enough. What i feel like the sub will work the best in REM period.

One tip from me: Control your emotions, Yes you heard that right. If you had a bad day, be happy still. Always be happy no matter how bad the situation is. I know its hard to now show up the actual emotions but that's what sorts out the winners from the losers. When you learn to control your emotions, you get more n more stable. Your subconscious is no more messed up now, i believe it aligns with the conscious (which makes it easy to manifest).

I (16F) have an aunt (59F) who has caused trouble in my family in the past, I saw her again 2 weeks ago, where she hovered over me and kept asking about my school work and hinting at asking the question if my mother was providing enough help to me. I answered her questions politely and she left, according to my mother (49F) my aunt made rude and intrusive comments all night to her and my aunts husband also was very rude. I felt like punching her the whole night, but I cooled off, the actual turning point in this story was my little sisters 12th birthday on the 9th. My whole mothers side of the family forgot it was her birthday, my sister being upset she didn’t get any birthday wishes from her aunts or cousins silently ate cake, picking at the plate. I decided to post on the family gc a photo of her with her gifts saying “happy birthday (my sisters name)” with some heart emojis. My aunt and her husband saw it immediately but didn’t say anything, no one said anything until my cousins started wishing her a happy birthday, then my aunts chimed in and the mean aunts husband sent a message then deleted it. One of my aunts, not the one this story is about called to wish her a happy birthday. It made my sister more happy. My aunt then wrote a vindictive post on Facebook about not respecting elders and tagged me and my brother in it. Point is, the gc message wasn’t directed at her and she posted it unprovoked, I don’t want anything to do with her, how can I cut her off without a family wide fall out?

So in my setting i have these primordial beings called Beast Men, they are essentially one of the first creations. They still exist and have varying levels of Feral to them, some are straight monstrosities, others have a macabre sense of humanity. Inspiration is from Bloodbrones beasts, some are straight up werewolves others are kinda inbetween.
Now speed up to the current timeline which is early renaissance, there are noble houses, warring city states, contentious claims to thrones etc etc. But on top of that we have Mercenaries or (Lances or Lancers in my setting).
One such organisation has used Alchemy and "Modern" science to create hybrid humans who can tap into this primordial strength. Now the prime inspiration is from Claymore, in the sense that it is female only and that they tap into this power with the risk of not being able to stop using it making them "Feral".
Here is some info to perhaps help with the naming - They have a tell tale marker which is the same as the beast men where they have amber eyes, like a docile beastman with a semblance of humanity within them. To red eyes which is the mark of a Feral Beast man, and essentially a kill on sight when a beastman is encountered in that state.
I originally had the term "Fang" in mind to refer to these women but then i remembered i had an established Orc tribe called the "Spite-Fangs" and i dont want to change that as there has been a lot of things established about them.
In the Manga thet are known as "Silver Eyed Witches", kinda cool but i dont want to bite their shit more than i already have! And dont want to call them Witches because everyone will be thinking Witcher immediately.

I found this novel through a YouTube story recap but this guy never posts the name of the novel he recaps, and most of the time I have to go to the comment to find other people who know the name, but nobody seems to know the name of this one, or at least they not sharing it.
Novel Description/Summary-
The main protagonist, Qin Chen picks up a Centurion Black credit card and awakens the Tiandao system that rewards him with both wealth and power as he completes tasks all while attending college to complete the main mission of the system. He was originally a poor student with no family background and upon getting this system that rewards him with both wealth and power, his whole demeanor changes to that of a big shot who can't be touched, and through completing these side quests he is given rewards like a first-class villa, or 100% shares of a fortune 500 company based in the US which results in the people of wall street trying to short the company to force him to sell it back to them because they can't accept the idea of a Chinese man owning an American company (It backfires bigtime!) he also was rewarded with level 4 martial arts abilities, which adds a cultivation aspect to the novel, and where the video stops is where he uses this Eclipse Yacht that he was rewarded to allow a friend to host a party in Magic City where he beats up some idiot young masters and shows them who the boss is, and then one of them who acts as if he is loyal tries to set him up by calling people to tell on him as well as call a woman in charge of a gambling house to siphon Qin Chen dry when Qin Chen offers his friend to win back a debt of 10 billion that he was scammed into taking through the people on this private gambling island, and once again shows his ability by winning back millions with only a starting capital of 100 dollars in chips that ultimately screwed over the slime ball who tried to trick Qin Chen into losing all his money and being forced to borrow just like the other guy.
Sorry for the long explanation, but I want to give as much detail as I can in hopes of finding someone who knows the name of the novel. I really want to continue where it left off from the video as the recapper hardly ever makes part 2 videos even when there are a plethora of chapters which is just stupid in my opinion.

Googled extensively and can't find this. There used to be a 'show' (it was more like one of those ten minute shorts in between shows) on Disney Channel about anthropomorphic markers. They just looked like animated markers, and there were five of them I think? They were named for their color and I remember Magenta was an instigating type. They all worked in an art museum and there was a missing painting they were investigating. It didn't have any 'popular' voice actors from any shows at that time, or if it did I didn't notice. They all had that high-pitched nails on a chalkboard sound. I don't know exactly when it was, but I know Fish Hooks was still on so early 2010s. I feel like it only ran for maybe a few months with maybe ten episodes, a new one every two weeks maybe? And no one really cared. I remember there was a line of stuffed animals or, markers I guess you would say. Does anyone remember this cursed part of history 😭😭.

I was thinking something along the lines of a worse resupply that comes down quickly, is unique to you, and has either only a once per mission use or has a long CD like the mechs where it's 10min. The pod would have a pickup that gives you 1 stim, 1 grenade, and two mags for your primary and secondary. Perhaps some upgrades for it down the line such as getting a single EAT too and/or after you take the pickup it aggros nearby enemies from you for a short duration (and maybe explodes at the end).
Basically the idea is something you can selfishly call down in limited circumstances for when you really need just that little bit extra and either can't call in a resupply or don't want to deprive your team. Need one grenade to finish off the nest? Need one stim so you don't bleed out? Stuff like that where getting a small amount of gear very quickly and infrequently can make a difference but it's nowhere near enough to replace regular resupplies.
Personally I'd love to see some more horizontal type progression on the ship where you get new abilities not just improvements of existing ones. Getting new abilities often is cooler than just "number go up" even though I do like number go up. Even if these upgrades aren't all that strong, it's nice to have more tools in the toolbox. Something like the emergency package would be nowhere near good enough to replace a stratagem but it (and other things on that power level) would be cool, one time uses per mission.

Hi! I have a devil character who is an incarnation of violence. I have watched many series and to be honest japanese anime are the most violent. For other characters connected with doom, death, rotting etc I found acceptable names in other languages. I asked ChatGPT but I know he often mistake.
"Guro" came from grotesque, but in Japan it changed its definition from "weird, wild, primal" to something like "pervert, violent". It will be the root of the name. And the second part I see as "maniac" or "unsated, drunk of". ChatGPT have proposed me "Kurui Kuruu" 狂い狂う, but its too long. How can I make it short or maybe find a synonym? "Gurokuru" sounds OK, but due to my incompetence I almost certain that now it means something different.
I know how ridiculously borrowed names can sound and Id want to avoid it.

Hello everyone, I was wondering, is there a way to create a "fake" online store?
What I mean by "fake": I want to create a web page where customers can choose and select products (kinda like add to cart), but then instead of placing an order they'll be prompted to send a message.
This is how I imagine it:
1) customer selects t-shirt+shorts+hat
2) customer clicks button "request order" or something similar
3) customer lands on a contact form pre-filled with t-shirt+shorts+hat where he has to input name, phone number and email
4) shop owner replies/calls customer and they agree on payment, shipping etc.
Is this possible? Am I dreaming? Do I still need to install WooCommerce or similar e-commerce plugins or can I do that in another "creative" way?

Okay so this happened a couple months ago around mid-March. I posted what happened in another subreddit, but a couple of people mentioned posting it in this one too. I keep rehashing it over and over and yeah… here is what I said in the original post:
I can’t deal with my mom anymore. My whole life I was always afraid to talk back or stick up for myself. And then when I do, she just continues to berate me. Here is the story…
I don’t know what to make of this situation. It would be a long story if I tried to explain it all so I will attempt to make it brief. So, a couple weeks ago my mom started talking down to me.
My memere has been dying. And my mom told me my “priorities are skewered” and “it’s quite underwhelming, honestly” “your memere is the opposite of good health.” She said this because I told my mom that I would visit memere later in the week.
Keep on my mind my mom kept going back and forth on this matter. She would tell me I should go and see my memere. Then a day later she would say I shouldn’t because my memere isn’t herself. Then she would tell me I should call my memere. Then she would tell me I shouldn’t because of how my memere isn’t in her right mind.
So, my mother spoke down to me by lecturing me about how my priorities were skewered and whatnot really pissed me off. I replied, telling her not to talk down to me and telling her how rude and condescending her comments are. That just prompted her to tell me to not scold and tell me I all i do is think about myself and sleep all the time. She followed that with, "There, I said it." Like she's so proud and happy to get that off of her chest.
Keep in mind that I never discuss myself with my mother. But, she does know I'm in college. So how the heck does she know what I do behind my closed door? I could be studying, reading, listening to music etc. But no, she just slaps me with the "all you do is sleep and think about yourself."
Every conversation we have is either about my memere as of lately, or my mother will discuss things going on in her life.
And any other time I’ll just take it and deal with it (my mother being rude or whatnot) But this time I didn’t. It resulted in me eventually deleting the app we converse on. I told her to leave me alone and that I didn’t want anything to do with her. I knew it wasn’t worth going back and forth, and I didn’t want to say anything I would regret.
I ended up reaching out to her a week later saying “sorry memere is in hospice.” Since then we have been getting along.
Fast forward to today, I was searching for something in our conversation when I stumbled across her messages to me (from before I blocked her). I hadn’t read some of them yet because I didn’t want to. But then I saw she called me a “selfish, self-absorbed twat.” And that, “it takes a special kind of someone. Remember that.”
Keep in mind I don’t call her names. I decided to confront her about it. It didn’t turn out well. She just threw in my face about how she is going through a rough time because of her mother and also threw into my face how she has been here for me at my lowest points and that I put her and my dad through hell (I assume she is referencing my alcoholism, which I have been sober from for almost 2 years). She also said “and I stand behind the selfish twat comment.”
So I ended up saying, “and you’re a bitch.” Which prompted her to saying how I’m a despicable woman and that she would never talk to her mom like that.
I just don’t understand how she thinks it’s okay for her to call me names, but when I dish it right back to her she continues to try and bring me down, or throws in my face how she was there for me at my lowest points. It makes it seem like she is trying to guilt trip by bringing that up (from when I was suffering from alcoholism which caused my parents to be worried for me and stuff).
I understand her mother is dying. But does that really give her the okay to treat me this way? I blocked her. And I honestly do wish I had kept my cool. I did initially the first time around when I removed her. But this second time around I let the situation get the best of me.
Okay so now for an update…sadly my memere ended up passing away :’( Ever since then, things haven’t felt right between my mother and I. After that whole debacle, she texted me a couple weeks after telling me that she loves me and also said, “I apologize for my choice of words. I reacted and I reacted badly.” All I said back was “I love you too.”
I felt like her apology was crummy. It seems like she isn’t even really taking responsibility for her actions but almost placing the blame on me. Acting like I’m the one who caused her to lash out.
Since then, we haven’t talked much. Honestly I just feel uncomfortable regarding the whole situation. It’s hard to move past it. I don’t know if I’m overreacting by still being affected by it. A week ago my dad texted me letting me know to not forget about my mom for mother’s day…which I had already planned to visit her.
So, on Sunday I went to go see her and gave her flowers because it felt like the right thing to do. But every time I think of her and when I saw her, I just keep replaying all of what happened. I just don’t know what to do anymore. As I said, I don’t know if I’m just overreacting and if I should just try and get over it and forget about it.

Platform(s): Windows ME (could have been 95/98, don't remember playing it on XP) Genre: Educational Software Estimated year of release: Mid 90's to Early 00's Graphics/art style: Early Primitive Polygonal 3D Renders, Mostly Gray Notable characters: A "How do you do fellow kids"-type character with a pitched up voice, always getting put in jail for riding his skateboard. Notable gameplay mechanics: Player controlled plane flies to specified locations on a world map to find keys to free the skateboarding character.
Other details: DevelopePublisher name is green text on a black background. Game opens with skateboarding character getting caught and jailed. He then asks the player to find keys around the world to free him. An adult male voice clearly tells the player where to go: "Find the key in... Portugal." Player then moves a plane over the target country and presses an action key to decend. Upon finding a key, the male voice will speak again: "You found the key in... Portugal" A jingle will then play. Upon finding four keys, the bars to the jail cell open and the skateboarding character leaves while saying: "Woo-hoo(Woo-wee?), I'm outta here!" A short animation will play that implies the skateboarder gets caught again.
If I recall correctly, it is NOT one of the big educational software publishers: The Learning Comapany, MECC, Broderbund, Knowledge Adventure, DK.
Trying to find this game so I can find the developepublisher name. My tech-illiterate parents somehow got a bunch of educational software- presumably for homeschooling- and this is my best remembered example of one of the publishers. This one might be a toughie: likely region-specific (Southern/Midwest USA), MIGHT be shareware, super niche target audience, unlikely someone uploaded an ISO, developer seemed VERY small/might not have been around for long.
Any help would be appreciated! If you remember any educational games from that technological era that the internet fails to mention, please feel free to shout them out in the replies. I'm trying to find as much as I can.
