2024.05.19 05:44 Quiet_Snow_Tiger Which IGCSE subjects should I choose?

I’m an international student who goes to a British International school in South Korea..
I really want to get into a good university in the UK (aiming for Oxford, Cambridge or Imperial College London) but I’m not sure which subjects to choose in IGCSE.
It’s compulsory to study ‘English Second Language (CIE 0472)’ ‘International Mathematics(Extended (CIE0607)’ ‘Additional Mathematics (CIE 0472)’ ‘Korean First Language National Curriculum’ ‘Korean History National Curriculum’
My dream is to be a pharmaceutical scientist so I definitely think I’m going to choose ‘Biology (CIE 0610)’ ‘Chemistry (CIE0620)’
But I’m not sure how many to choose..
Optional subjects are languages(french spanish latin) mandarin, sciences (com sci and pe) humanities (geography and history)
Should I only do the compulsory ones, or choose more?
And if I do, does all A*s help me into good universities or are ecs equally important?

2024.05.19 05:30 Emotional_Skill1126 Finally found some like minded people

I don't use social media at all and I'm not interested in it either. The only things I use are whatsapp and discord (for gaming communities specifically). But recently I had a lot of free time and I started thinking how I've barely met any other queer people like me, expect one, and it's actually so hard to find them. So I decided to give this app a try and I uninstalled and reinstalled it a couple of times because I didn't know how to handle social media at all (sounds stupid I know). But I found this subreddit so here goes nothing!
I'm demiromantic and demisexual, 19 and lesbian. I like to identify as genderfluid, my pronouns are she/them. I like anime a lot! Been watching since I was 10. I'm also learning japanese. I like to draw, write and read novels. My favourite genres are horror, thriller and psychologyical horror. I also like animals, plants and nature in general. I'm gonna start college this year with computer science so I like tech stuff as well and of course I'm learning coding. I'm really introverted but I do like talking to new people with similar interests. I have a small friend group but I like genuine friendships.
Also I'm from Odisha :) I'm hoping to meet some open minded people and make new friends here. I'm always open to chat and would love to know if anyone likes the same things I do!

2024.05.19 05:09 Gullible_Prune_2117 Am I being unreasonable? Career change or stick it out? Suggestions?

Hi Reddit,
I'm 31 and currently working as a medical lab scientist in a MCOL area. I have BS degrees in Medical Lab Science & Biology. I have 10 years of experience and worked my way through college up from the lowest position in the lab (lab assistant) all the way to management. I worked in management for a couple years before realizing I hated it and went back to a more junior position. I'm currently working minimal hours (anywhere between 24-36, usually 24) and averaging about 50k-55k per year. I have no direct reports anymore, never have to take work home, and am permitted to make my own schedule. I am also able to go back full-time at any point. These are the biggest pros.
For the cons, I do not do well with monotonous, repetitive work, and that is basically all my job consists of. I feel as if I have been doing the same exact thing for 10 years. I burned out at some point during covid working 50-60 hour weeks which is why I went part-time and left management. It's been a year of me doing part-time, and I have yet to recover the tolerance level I once had for this field. I fear it will not come back, as I have never liked what I do in the first place, but could at least deal with it. I don't have to love my job, but I also don't want to dread going to work for the next 30 years. I only chose this field because I didn't know what I wanted to do and I was good at science classes.
I am planning to go back full-time, but I don't want to go back to what I was doing before. I make about 85-90k when full-time (non-management), and am fine with making anything from 60k and up. Money isn't a factor when choosing a career path. I'm good at public speaking, very extroverted, do not mind long hours, and would strongly prefer more human interaction than I'm currently getting at work. I would also like a job where I can do something different everyday. I don't mind going back to school or doing additional training. I have the GI Bill so cost of training or schooling is another thing that doesn't matter to me. I also have a diagnosed mental illness that I take medication for, and can't do any careers where that would be a problem.
My questions are, am I crazy to leave my current situation? Am I just being a negative Nancy? Should I suck it up and stay in my field? Any suggestions for what I can do next? I'm strongly interested in both law and dental hygiene, but absolutely open to all suggestions.

Gender breakdown of AP test results
Hope everyone does well on their tests! Current medical student and former student going into teaching AP sciences here. I got asked by quite a few students before about mass results in AP testing. I figured I'd make a post about it. These are the 2019 results; however, should give some clarity on how everyone does.
Though around 55% of AP students are girls, boys took on average 1.78 exams while girls took 1.68 exams. Boys overrepresent subjects pertaining to physics, computers, and economics while girls overrepresent arts and languages.
Boys outperformed girls in 26 out of 36 subjects including every STEM and math field, some but wide margins. On the other end, girls outperformed by smaller margins in languages and literature. There's also statistically significant data in the gender ratio of who is gaining a score of a "5" that can be seen as well.
I hope everyone finds the data as intriguing as I did. Data is awesome! Feel free to send me a message if you have any questions about medical school.

2024.05.19 04:53 AzMango12 Advice for Non-Traditional Student

Hello all. I'm a grad student in the US. I did a bachelors of science in Biochemistry and completed all the medical pre-requisite courses as far as I can tell. My undergrad GPA is 3.97 and science GPA is 4.0. I went to a California State University for undergrad. I'm at a UC for grad school. I graduated from undergrad a few years ago and went to a Biology PhD since I didn't really have a plan and it felt like the most logical next step. I figured I'd do academia, but its definitely a lifestyle I can't live with. I had always considered medical, but never took action since I didn't have much of a desire for it until now. I am wrapping up the first year of my PhD and I feel an overwhelming desire to leave the PhD program and pursue medical.
I've thought over this decision carefully and I think it is the right choice for me. I'll be the first in my family to do medical school and don't really know who to turn to for advice/guidance. I'm reading through the helpful posts and FAQ's. I'd like to share my plan and ask for any advice anyone has.
I'm planning to stay in my PhD program until I've gotten all or most of the pre-requisites/extracurriculars complete then master out. As far as I can tell, these are the pre-requisites/extracurriculars I have not done yet: MCAT, clinical hours, shadow hours, volunteering hours, CASPER, preVIEW exam. I have completed: getting a bachelors degree, having a high enough gpa (I think), leadership experience being a TA (for general bio, general chemistry, Calculus II, and Calculus III), and getting research hours. I should have a publication in pre-print in a few months (hopefully).
I'm planning to take the MCAT by May 2025. I'm also trying to get in contact with some family friend doctors to do a month or two of shadowing and clinical hours in 2025. I'm still a bit confused on the CASPER and/or preVIEW exams, but I'll take them when I do.
As far as age. I'm currently 24 and will be ~27 by the time I apply. I am a bit worried about being older than others applying for medical school but I think it'll be ok since I am determined to do this.
I'd like to apply for the medical school cycle in fall 2026 (start medical school in 2027). I would appreciate any advice on my plan or in general. I would also appreciate some positive affirmations lol (its hard to come by in grad school. Lord knows my PI does not help with boosting my confidence).

2024.05.19 04:53 Donghoon fyi: Difference between some similarly named AP courses

Calc AB: Single variable Differential Calculus and Introduction to Integral Calculus.
Calc BC: Single variable Differential Calculus and Intermediate Integral Calculus including Infinite series, parametric equations, polar coordinate system, and vector valued functions. Exam is 60% AB topics.
Precalculus: Different types of functions and Algebraic function analysis. Important skills for AP calculus.
AP precalculus is the first time "precalculus" curriculum has been standardized across the country.
Officially, BC has no prerequisites, but your school may do it differently due to how content heavy BC curriculum is. (11 units is crazy!)

----

Physics 1: Foundational Newtonian Physics concepts with ALGEBRA based math. Mechanics, Rotational mechanics, Dynamics, and Energy and Momentum conservation. Fluid dynamics (soon).
Physics 2: More Foundational Modern Physics concepts with ALGEBRA based math. Thermodynamics, Electricity, Magnatism, Optics, Nuclear and quantum physics.
Physics C mechanics: Physics 1 concepts with CALCULUS based formulas.
Physics C electricity and magnetism: Electricity and magnetism concepts with CALCULUS based formulas.
Physics 1 and 2 are heavily conceptual; previously known as just One course: Physics B but was later separated into 1 and 2. Physicd C are calculation/math heavy.

----

Computer Science Principles: Intro to "Computers", Computer algorithms, and the "Internet" and the "Web." There is a Coding unit and a coding "project" you submit for the AP exam in addition to multiple choice questions portion.
Computer Science A: Intro to programming in Java. Basics of Object Oriented programming (OOP). Classes, Subclasses, Inheritance are huge part of the curriculum. Recursion, Iteration, If-statements, Arrays, 2D Arrays are also taught.

2024.05.19 04:48 Impossible-Focus-729 How Can I Overcome My Past Mistakes and Successfully Pursue a Career in Computer Science?

Hi ,
I'm really struggling and could use some advice. Here’s a bit of my background:
I started college in 2018 majoring in Computer Science but dropped out in 2021 as a junior. The major was extremely challenging, and I ended up cheating my way through by paying others to do my assignments. I wanted to keep my full-ride scholarship but lost it eventually. I also ghosted another small scholarship that gave me many chances, but I was going through a lot mentally and just hated Computer Science.
I had a job lined up after graduation with a company I interned for, but I lost that too. In hindsight, I wish I had pushed through, but it all felt overwhelming and meaningless at the time. Despite everything, I believe technology is the future, and I feel like I've already invested too much to give up now. However, my skills are lacking—I can't even code.
I want to go back to school and finish my degree, especially focusing on cybersecurity. I'm torn between starting over or trying to complete my current CS degree since it would be faster. I’m 24, and I feel like I’m falling behind while my friends have graduated and are moving forward in their lives. I’m at home, under my foreign parents' control, working for the family without pay, and I have no income. I'm unhappy.
My family supports me going back to school, but I would need to take out loans this time. I'm scared because I cheated through so much, and now I have upper-level courses left with no real foundation.
Has anyone been in a similar situation? What steps should I take to overcome my past mistakes and build a solid foundation in Computer Science? Should I start over or try to finish my degree? Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for reading and for any help you can offer.

2024.05.19 04:46 Black_Thunder_ For any combination of the 721 triad, how do you choose what to do?

Like I am a 721, and I feel torn between what I want to do with my life and what I know I probably should do.
I'm currently studying animation, I've studied screenwriting two years and half a few years ago, and overall I'm very creative, I want to live of my art, wake up next to my husband and think "today is another beautiful day, in the life of my dreams". You know type 7 shenanigans.
But on the other hand I dropped off Political sciences last year, after the whole course (It was a private university we were around 120) treated me like an outcast and overall I would say they bullied me, but like I was 20, I really find It childish to call It bullying as the victim, I really, to this day feel very cringed... Like what the hell, grow up, You're gonna run the country, or represent It in other Nations!
So like feeling rejected completely when I wanted to help the world around me, made think that that very world could crumble to pieces and I would not give a shit.
The problem is that now the world is crumbling to pieces, but I still care, of course. And while I am building myself a very pretty life, I know that I am still doing nothing to help, while everyone that met me, described me as a perfect diplomat.
And honestly I know I am, by nature, and studying is only gonna make me better at It, I know I can make a difference. The thing is, do I want to put aside the life I was building up for myself, full of freedom and real happiness, for others? For others that might even dislike my help and sacrifice, again?
I don't know. I know that I want to write, and be free to do my things, but I also know that I cannot keep ignoring the sufference of people around me, even if they're far away.
Like if life really is a party, should not everyone join? And if they don't, if they're screaming outside, dying outside, can I still enjoy the music and dance in my room?

2024.05.19 04:31 Truth-and-Logic Children should not be exposed to religious beliefs until adulthood

I’ve been meditating on this topic for a while and while previously I never thought this was a problem, I am now very much starting to see how harmful this is. Now Im not saying that religious history shouldn’t be studied because obviously most sane people can look at Greek mythology or Hindu literature and pull a valuable amount of wisdom and insights from them while maintaining a rational belief that those are just stories and the same could be said of the Bible. But a lot religious parents these days seem to push Christian literature and dogma onto children to an insane degree without exposing them just as much to stuff like evolution or biology. This is extremely harmful in a few ways:
  1. Since children are immature and their brains are very susceptible to ideas and behaviors that they observe, they will become accustomed to what they are taught or shown that is very hard to break free from in adulthood.
  2. Psychological pressure. These religious ideas teach that if you commit good or evil than you will go to either heaven or hell on some sense. This can be very stressful for young children who have not developed the emotional maturity to handle the fear that they might be doing something wrong.
  3. It wreaks havoc on critical thinking skills. Believing in religious dogma that you were taught from childhood basically teaches you that you need to believe in something that can’t be proven regardless of what evidence is brought forward. This is pretty important to consider since this kind of indoctrination can cause children to participate in harmful actions out of blind obedience rather than rational thought.
All in all, children shouldn’t be exposed to this stuff, at least from the standpoint that it is real. The Bible, Quran, and other texts are old fictional books and should be treated no differently than if reading a book like Harry Potter or a book on Greek mythology. Children should only be exposed to truth such as science, empirical evidence and mindsets that foster critical thinking. Whether or not they should research fictional texts like the Bible or Quran should be left up to them when they are adults. Let me know what you guys think.

2024.05.19 04:28 Meta_Gamer_42 A New Way to Educate

Exploration of an Innovative K-12 School Curriculum and Pedagogical Approaches
Before going over the curriculum we must first discuss how to best teach. All of the following methods outlined below are what would I would suggest be use to teach the students trying to use just one or even just two of these would not be enough and would compromise the students learning and education
Teaching Methods
Project-Based Learning (PBL): In PBL, students work on a project over an extended period, which could be a week or a month, to respond to a complex question, problem, or challenge. The projects are usually multi-disciplinary and require students to apply what they've learned in a practical manner. This allows them to see the immediate applicability of their learning.
Inquiry-Based Learning: This is a form of active learning that starts by posing questions, problems, or scenarios—rather than simply presenting established facts or portraying a smooth path to knowledge. Students are involved in the construction of their learning. They engage with the material, participate in the class, and collaborate with each other.
Gamification: Incorporating elements of game design in education can make learning fun and engaging. This can involve point systems, leaderboards, badges, or other game mechanics.
Experiential Learning: This method involves learning by doing and reflecting on the experience. It can include internships, study abroad programs, field trips, laboratory experiments, or any other hands-on learning experiences.
Flipped Classroom: In a flipped classroom, students review lecture materials at home and do their 'homework' in class, where they can ask for help as they practice new skills and apply new knowledge. This allows teachers to spend class time helping students apply what they've learned and coaching them as they work through challenges.
Cross-Disciplinary Projects: By integrating different disciplines into a single project, you can make the learning experience more holistic and interconnected, much like how the knowledge of different magical disciplines would combine in a fantasy setting.
Competency-Based Learning: In this educational model, students advance upon mastering a skill or a competency. This encourages active utilization of knowledge and immediate feedback, similar to how a magic student might advance only after successfully casting a particular spell.
Now that we have given a basic outline of the teaching styles we can go over the curriculum for K-12 the idea would be to Have an A/B day schedule and some classes would meet less frequently because they don't take much time to cover everything, all of this will be done in order to create well rounded students, people and citizens. They are not only creative in nature, but leaders in their own right as well as capable of doing whatever they desire and succeeding wildly
Core Curriculum Classes:
STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics): must Ensure these subjects are covered both within the integrated curriculum (like coding in math, cooking in science, history in art, etc.) and as standalone classes to develop depth of knowledge.
Memory Techniques & Knowledge Management Techniques: Using an Integrated code based system with AI tools to help teacher track progress and provide more targeted assistance as well as help students with how to effectively organize and manage knowledge, covering basic note-taking, the PARA/CODE system. Using AI to provide semi interactive sessions that not only explain how memory works but also actively encourage the practice of using the note taking method & memory techniques
Project-Based Learning: Encourage practical application of knowledge through project-based learning. Gamification & Experiential Learning: Use these techniques to make learning more engaging and fun.
Flipped Classroom & Inquiry-Based Learning: Encourage independent learning and critical thinking through these teaching methods.
Elementary School: Coding & Digital Literacy: Introduce basic coding principles using visual coding platforms. Begin teaching about online safety and basic cybersecurity. Financial Literacy: Teach basic concepts like the value of money, saving, and spending. Potential to introduce the use of real currency and creating student based economy Community Service: Arrange class-based community projects and encourage involvement in community service outside of school. Gardening & Cooking: Teach students about plants, nutrition, and basic cooking skills through a school garden. Literacy & Reading: Develop a reading program that exposes students to a variety of genres. Writing can begin with simple sentences. History: Teach history from a holistic and critical perspective, exploring different cultures and perspectives. Basic Medicine & First Aid: Introduce simple health, hygiene, and basic first aid skills. Physical Education: Encourage a love for physical activity through a variety of engaging games. Emotional Regulation & Healthy Relationships with Technology: Incorporate social-emotional learning and healthy technology use. Leadership: Begin fostering leadership qualities through group activities and responsibility sharing. Self-Defense: Introduce basic safety rules and personal boundaries. Spanish: Introduce basic Spanish vocabulary and phrases, along with exposure to the culture of Spanish-speaking countries. Songs, games, and interactive activities can be used to make learning enjoyable.
Middle School: Coding, Digital Literacy & Practical Engineering: Continue coding education and introduce robotics and basic electronics. Financial Literacy: Start teaching about budgeting, banking, and simple concepts of earning. Potential to introduce the use of real currency and creating student based economy Community Service: Encourage students to plan and lead community service projects, either in groups or individually. Gardening & Cooking: Progress in gardening and cooking skills, introducing sustainability issues. Literacy, Reading, & Writing Skills: Increase complexity of reading and writing assignments. History: Provide more in-depth history education using primary sources and interpretations. Basic Medicine & First Aid: Offer a more detailed course on first aid and health. Physical Education: Introduce a range of physical activities, sports, and body awareness topics. Emotional Regulation & Healthy Relationships with Technology: Develop emotional intelligence skills, mindfulness practices, and education about responsible technology use. Leadership: Teach various leadership styles and emphasize group projects requiring delegation and decision-making. Self-Defense: Continue with more practical self-defense techniques. Study of Government: Begin a foundational study of the local and national government. Teach students about the branches of government, their roles, and how laws are made. Spanish: Continue to build on vocabulary and grammar learned in elementary school. Introduce simple written exercises and encourage basic conversation in Spanish.
High School: Coding, Digital Literacy & Practical Engineering: Offer advanced coding and practical engineering classes, including topics like 3D modeling and advanced electronics.Teach more advanced cybersecurity concepts and ethics of digital communication Gardening & Cooking: As elective courses, delve into advanced topics like food science or agricultural technology. Literacy, Reading, & Writing Skills: Offer a variety of literature courses, creative writing classes, and research-based writing. History: Teach history as a dynamic and interpretive subject, encouraging critical thinking. Basic Medicine & First Aid: Include more advanced first aid, mental health awareness, and basic human anatomy and physiology. Physical Education: Offer a range of athletic options, and include education about exercise science and long-term health benefits. Emotional Regulation & Healthy Relationships with Technology: Provide resources for emotional regulation, advanced mindfulness techniques, and in-depth discussions about technology's role in society. Leadership: Delve deeper into conflict resolution, strategic planning, and ethical leadership, often through real-world applications. Financial Literacy: Start teaching about budgeting, banking, and simple concepts of earning. Potential to encourage student to start their own business or get a job and have students buy things from each other Self-Defense/Mixed Martial Arts: For interested students, offer elective classes in mixed martial arts, fostering physical and mental skills. Study of Government: Expand on knowledge from middle school and introduce international government systems. Discuss the concepts of democracy, socialism, and other forms of government. Involve students in mock debates and simulations, like Model United Nations or Mock Parliament. Study of Politics: Begin a course on political science, covering key political ideologies, parties, and political processes. Discuss current events and involve students in debates and discussions to encourage critical thinking. Creating Change: Introduce a course on social activism and creating change. This can involve studying historical movements for change, understanding how to effect change within a legal framework, learning about peaceful protest, and planning and implementing a small-scale change project within the school or community. Spanish: Continue to deepen knowledge of Spanish. Encourage advanced conversation and written exercises. Students could read Spanish literature or news and discuss in class, fostering language skills and cultural understanding.
This kind of curriculum would be nearly the best, being interdisciplinary, hands-on, and centered around the interests and needs of the students. It would aim to not only equip students with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in the world, but also ignite their passion for learning and encourage them to continue learning throughout their lives.
But before we’re done one last thing must be covered. How to assess a student's growth because science shows that paper tests are not suited for the task. There are many innovative ways to assess student understanding and skills without relying solely on traditional exams. The methods that could be used include Assessment Methods
Portfolios: Students could compile portfolios of their work, which could include code they've written, projects they've completed, or essays they've written. A portfolio allows students to demonstrate their learning process, their progress over time, and their ability to apply what they've learned in different contexts.
Presentations: Students can demonstrate their understanding of a topic by presenting on it. This could involve presenting a project they've completed, explaining a concept to the class, or debating a topic with classmates.
Peer and Self-Assessment: Students can learn a lot from assessing each other's work or their own work. This can help them develop a better understanding of the assessment criteria and improve their ability to critically evaluate work.
Performance Assessment: In subjects like self-defense, physical education, cooking, or gardening, students could be assessed based on their performance. This could involve demonstrating a technique, completing a task, or participating in a game or competition.
Reflective Journals: Students could maintain journals where they reflect on what they've learned, how they've applied it, and what they still want to understand better. This can give teachers insight into a student's thought process and their understanding of the subject.
Project-Based Assessment: Students can be assessed on the projects they complete, whether individually or in groups. This allows students to demonstrate a range of skills, including knowledge of the subject, problem-solving, creativity, and teamwork.
Community Service Assessment: In addition to the other assessments, teachers can assess students' community service involvement, their planning and leadership skills, as well as their reflections on their experiences.
The emphasis of Knowledge Management Techniques and Memory Techniques in core classes as a standalone session every day would ideally give students a break from traditional instruction and allow them to process and manage their learnings. This can be in the form of group discussions, independent reflection time, or guided activities for planning and organizing their work.

2024.05.19 04:20 Beneficial_Stay4558 31 [M4F] NJ/NY/PA Northeast USA - Looking for something genuine with great conversation. Long term ideally.

I'm 31 years old, live in NJ. 5'9", 165 lbs (fit/athletic build) 3rd generation Chinese American (my family immigrated here in the 1900s). My family identifies as American as we tend to eat more pasta than rice and my generation has not learned the language. College educated with a Bachelor's in Biomedical Science (switched from an Engineering major...turns out I don't like theoretical math); currently working in the pharmaceutical industry and pretty much love the industry as there isn't any work drama and it's relatively straightforward yet challenging.
I've tried a few long distance relationships and they're quite difficult to manage...they were great when we able to meet in person and I didn't mind putting in the extra work. I'd be willing to try one if the distance is reasonable and the there is a definite spark between us. I am pretty sure I fit the definition of a demisexual, so I'll be strictly trying to form a connection first. I REALLY need the emotional connection before there is a sexual attraction, mentally I can't do hook ups (they're just really hard for me to handle and I have turned people down).
Personality wise I've been told that I tend to bring people together and keep things fun. I have a few different groups of friends and communities I am often with...and they can vary from the youngsters (21 to 30) to the old guys (60+) to the group that's around my age. I would say I'm pretty good at conversing and I try to stay on top of most current events. Mentally I'm an old man and feel more comfortable in that setting, so much that I literally hang out with 60+ years olds at the gym after a workout in the hot tub. I call them the hot tub gang and it's always a set of regulars where we might talk about the same thing every single day until someone newer to the group says that we talked about it yesterday.
I would say fitness is a major player in my life. I started out hating swimming as a kid, but here I am almost 27 years later...I made it through the lessons at the YMCA, joined a club team, swam in high school, swam in college and now I'm a swim coach and instructor as a hobby/side job in my free time. There's something about being a part of coaching people and watching them grow up and succeed that makes me smile.
My free time in the cold months usually consists of planning DIY projects or working on them. I tend to work on all the cars in the family and am the one that fixes them up or finds replacements for them. Or planning my next road trip to somewhere nicer. Whereas in the warm months I love going down to the beach to go for a swim and have a nice relaxing breakfast outdoors. I do have a few kayaks that I'll bring out to go with friends or if I feel it's safe a nice solo paddle to clear my mind. When I think about it, too many of my hobbies involve water. But I do enjoy things on dry land I promise!
I'm really looking for someone I can grow together with, a long term or forever relationship. I want a relationship where both of us put 100% in all the time and if we don't, we can talk to each other about our concerns and work it out. Honestly what I've realized is that maybe I am altruistic...I miss making someone feel happy and loved, miss the good morning texts, the waiting around all day just to see their texts, I miss spoiling someone and the feeling of that feeling of seeing that look that you get when someone truly loves you. I would love to slowly get to know you by having some conversations where the time just flies, then to a point where we talk nonstop, maybe some in person dates and then maybe eventually settle down together and enjoy life together.
Important stuff: Although I enjoy interacting with kids and it's a major part of my life...I don't want any of my own so...sorry if this is a dealbreaker for anyone. I don't drink (except for maybe wine at special occasions....I get really bad Asian Flush so I'll turn bright red if I smell alcohol essentially lol), not into smoking/drugs (Bad asthma and I'm just not into any of that stuff). I don't judge anyone that's into drinking or recreational drugs, it's just not for me personally. Religion wise, I'm Agnostic. Politically I lean relatively to the left.
I'm really searching for that genuine connection; voice calls are definitely a plus and would love to get to know you. It's alright if we end up just as friends that talk here and there.
If it sounds like you could be the one send me a chat or DM and tell me a bit about yourself. My name is Kevin and I'd love to know about you.
