• Music and Art by the Sea begins each Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. and features a weekly art show, live music, and the option to purchase dinner from a local food truck — all on beautiful St. Augustine Beach. DJ Dan from VIP Entertainment will start playing tunes each week at 5:30 p.m.

i just turned 15 years old, my birthday was just basic nothing cool. but besides the point, the last month~ i’ve had 0 motivation and excitement for anything. yesterday i was hanging out with some of my friends and i was completely drained after less than an hour. i just couldn’t be bothered to do anything, i went home shortly after and i felt empty. i couldn’t bring myself to do anything not even school today, i was so unmotivated to do anything i told my mom i was sick to get out. in school too i can’t be motivated to do anything more than the bare minimum, idk if this is because it’s almost the end of the year or something else. but my grades are still fine, with mostly low B’s. after school, i jusy get home, lay in bed, and just lie there until i have to do it again. everyday jusy a single race to the fucking weekend. also, idk if i should’ve said this earlier, but in my “friend group” i’m kinda the odd one out almost always, if a hangout isn’t at my house, i probably wasn’t invited. i don’t know why, because i’m not rude to them, or treat them differently as each other. it’s just like im never there, i often feel ignored such as during lunch i’m talking and someone just fully talks over me not caring at all and i’m jusy there sitting. i don’t have any “true loyal” friends, and sometimes it does bother me, i wish i could have some people i can call real friends that i trust. but i just don’t. my parents always are pushing me to do things that i don’t want to do at all. like going to the gym and having friends over. i don’t like having friends over at all, the only time it ever happens is when i’m sort of forced to and then i still feel like the one lefy out. besides the friend part, i’ve felt really just hollow inside of that makes sense. nothing really seems to bother me much, nor do i care enough to do somethijg about it. it’s like i’m just there, no big role or anything important but jusy there. it’s caused me to lash out sometimes, yesterday my mom was just asking me what i wanted for dinner, (i love her she’s the nicest) and i just didn’t care at all to answer and kept on my way up the stairs. i didnt realize what just happened until a few hours later. but back to my hangout with my freidns yesterday, i was fine and just chilling until around 45 mibures we were watching a baseball game and i just kept putting my head down, partially because i was tired, but i was just drained inside to do the minimum. it was like i was on a timer for socializing and the. it just ended within an instant, i’ve kinda have felt like an otwice for the last 2 years ish ever since i stopped getting invited to things, i don’t know why, in the last peobably 9 months i’ve been out to a friends house 4 times, and 3 of those times was because i lied and said i couldn’t host. when i definitely could my parents LwYs have been pushing me to have people over especially for the last 2 months ish, i’m not currently in a sport and she thinks i’m jusy rotting my life away. that’s really it. apologies for grammar and spelling errors. i just had to tell this to someone, i don’t have anyone i trust enough to admit this too. i just need this out of my system

This sub definitely got me super worried for this fest, this was my first time going to this one and I’ve never seen police presence like that at a fest and it kind of felt like we were being watched constantly which I didn’t like. Things like this may feel small, but they often take me out of the show. The phone call from Random House that Loudermilk gets in the final moments of the season 3 finale is insane. He is on the phone with them for about 10 seconds -- they tell him they want to publish his book, and he says, "OK, talk to you later." That is NOT how that phone call would go -- it makes no sense at all. There was barely any time for them to even TELL him this on the call. This would be a long and involved conversation.
Why don't shows/actors ever know how to portray realistic phone calls??
Also, he would have a literary agent sending out his manuscript -- these large publishing houses do not take manuscripts directly from writers, even those who have been previously published (and it's been YEARS since Loudermilk has been pubbed). Yet it seems like Loudermilk is sending his manuscripts to them himself. Not how this happens at ALL. Where is his agent (they are actually the ones who would be getting a call like that)??

I worked a remote job for many years and after long relationship ended i got curious and did a lot of travel and it was shocking the difference between the dynamic between the women in my home country of Australia and those abroad. Since then have exclusively dated women from abroad both while traveling for extended periods and at home. She also seemed to think every guy she met or knew was madly in love with her but she was a pretty average person. I just thought her attitude stunk. really hot and cold.
I don't even know why i'm posting but there are so many great girls out there who aren't the spoilt brats we have here in Australia. Im not surprised when i see such i high number of interracial / international couples here in Melbourne. It makes me laugh because i have a lot of female friends and they are always the ones that comment on it when we are out with snide remarks. We are friends so obviously I think they are awesome company, funny and cool but they have the same attitude and wonder why they are single in their late 30's / early 40's now desperately trying to hunt down a man to shack up with or have kids.
I believe in equality for men and women 100% but i also think we are different creatures and theres nothing wrong with that. Being vilified by western women for being a straight white dude blows.
Finally I would say my favourite destinations have been in Asia by far due to the cost, food, proximity to Aus and wonderful people of both genders. Vietnam, Japan and Thailand are honourable mentions. Although with Thailand I stay clear of BKK or Resort towns.
My first post but i look forward to following the sub. I'm at the stage where i really hope to lock someone special I can marry and build something with so i like seeing so many genuine posts also.
Excuse the poorly written post i just typed my random thoughts on the matter. If i've made any blunders that aren't allowed here i'm sorry in advance!
