After playing and watching Dead by Daylight for many hours and seeing a variety of metas come and go, I got to thinking what I would do if put in the balance team's shoes. Below is a writeup on one possible way to rework the build system for the game to promote usage of more perks, more Killers, lower the quantity of problematic builds, and hopefully keep the game fun for all players.
The example Survivor build also goes to show a couple of other benefits of this system, being that fun is (hopefully) preserved and some off-meta perks have been chosen. If you only have 12 points worth of loadout options to use, you will inevitably be left with leftover points in your build that you can use to slot in perks you wouldn't otherwise, such as Diversion or Lightweight. I also like how this solution avoids removing any of the fun of a strong perk, as Adrenaline in this scenario would still function the same as it does now. It simply associates a cost with running something that is strong, and avoids the problem of gutting perks by removing all of their function.
This system also could limit the number of fun combinations that are available in the game. For example, if you wanted to run combo with two 4-point perks, it would take up most of your available points for the loadout.
The 16 point limit I chose wasn't totally arbitrary, as I wanted to find a good balance between having enough room to run four good perks if you forgo items or add-ons, while also making it a very consequential decision if you choose to run a perk or add-on that costs 5 points. If desired, the limit could be reduced or increased.

Problems to Solve
- Only a small subset of available perks for Survivors or Killers make up most builds.
- Problematic meta builds exist, featuring numerous strong perks, add-ons and items that can be especially punishing in SWF matches.
- New, good Killer perks are often nerfed due to being problematic on only the strongest Killers.
- Lack of a standard balance metric which makes tournaments boring or imbalanced without many external rules.
- Perks when nerfed are often gutted, making them "unusable" and as a result they are no longer run.
Proposed Solution
A point-based loadout system for Dead by Daylight where Survivors and Killers have 16 points with which to make their build for a match. Killer choice, perk choice, add-ons and items would all be worth a set number of points as determined by the balance team. This solution accounts for the fact that not all perks or Killers will ever be on a level playing field as it is impossible to achieve perfect balance in that way. Rather, this system aims to achieve balance by allowing weaker Killers to run stronger perks, or Survivors to run stronger items at the cost of having weaker perks. How does this help?
The above example builds illustrate the decisions you have to make when putting together a build with this system. You can no longer just slot in 4 of whatever the strongest "meta" perks are at the time. Rather, you can choose to run one really strong perk, and make sacrifices elsewhere, either by not bringing other strong add-ons or perhaps forgoing some perk slots entirely.The example Survivor build also goes to show a couple of other benefits of this system, being that fun is (hopefully) preserved and some off-meta perks have been chosen. Weaknesses
This system is not perfect, as in its current state it does not reflect the fact that not all add-on strength correlates with its rarity. Some Iri add-ons are trash, and this system would actively punish you for running them. This issue could be solved by either reworking add-on strength to be more in line with their rarity ratings, or by doing something I will suggest in the next section.This system also could limit the number of fun combinations that are available in the game. For example, if you wanted to run combo with two 4-point perks, it would take up most of your available points for the loadout.
Improvements
One way this system could be improved further is by reworking some perks or add-ons to be worth negative points in the loadout system. For example, some add-ons give you increased bloodpoints for the cost of some detrimental effect, such as the Wraith's which makes your terror radius not go away when cloaking. By adding negative values to certain add-ons, you could add another layer onto build complexity where you purposely make yourself weaker in some way and in exchange you are able to run something stronger somewhere else in your build.The 16 point limit I chose wasn't totally arbitrary, as I wanted to find a good balance between having enough room to run four good perks if you forgo items or add-ons, while also making it a very consequential decision if you choose to run a perk or add-on that costs 5 points. I recently got a new job and need to fill out a form for working with children etc as it is a job in a school - it asked about previous names and I am wondering what the consequences are if I fail to state my deadname. I had my name changed over 4 years ago - while I was still under 18 and I’m wondering if that changes anything as nothing I have done as an adult has used that name.
Also what would happen if I did fail to include that information? (I don’t have proof of a name change as all I ever received was the updated birth certificate and no change of name letter)

Long story short; my HOA was supposed to issue a credit to my account. They never did. The credit was $300 and I sent message after message and got NO response for months. I didn’t pay my assessment because there was supposed to be a $300 credit on my account.
So they tacked on late fees totaling $800. I refused to pay them. It was their mistake. I have it in writing. They said they can’t refund the $800 in fees even though it was their mistake for not applying the credit for 6 MONTHS.
I was just paying my monthly assessment, and leaving the rest of the fees. All of a sudden I could not make payments in the portal anymore. I emailed the community manager who told me she spoke with accounting and couldn’t figure out why the payment portal wasn’t working for me. It was because they sent me to collections, which has now proceeded with a default and intent to sell. It was sent to collections in March, but I was unaware of the collections until yesterday when I got a certified letter. I hadn’t received any other communication of the collection up until that point. I emailed the HOA several times in March and April trying to figure out how to make a payment, they never told me they sent me to collections.
Do I have a valid claim here? I want to file with the ombudsman’s office. This seems so entirely unfair. The HOA has mismanaged my account time after time, and it seems unfair that they can send me to collections and despite contacting them IN WRITING they didn’t tell me.

For example at work there's this girl who always greets me in an exaggerated way with a huge smile. I never talked to her, always just greeted back. Also during the day I sometimes get big smiles from young women. Sometimes they greet me on the street even strangers. There's even this older women with her bike who always yells at me "oh there's this beautiful man". I don't know if she has mental problems. It's always the same when she sees me🤦
Last week in the train there was this girl who came to me asking me if I could help her with the timetable of the train station. It was nothing. Then sometimes I get ask for cigaretts although I'm not even smoking. I always see two girls riding their bike in my neightborhood and when they drive by BOTH smile at me (one of them is younger like 17 or so). Last month I was at the hospital. There was this younger nurse that took care of me for a day. At home again she added me on facebook. I wrote her a normal friendly message back and she blocked me (i have no idea why).
I don't know what do to. It drives me crazy, but I don't want to look like a creep if I approach them🤦Or do you think it's ok if I would approach them?

So close to doing full extinction w my 6 month old. I don’t want to, but it’s been a month since doing Ferber and he’s still all over the place w night wakings. He eats 2x a night and cannot go longer than 2.5-3 hour stretches between feedings. The first stretch of sleep is often barely even 3 hours!! Nursing used to give us a solid 2-3 hour chunk of sleep, but lately he isn’t even doing that. He will wake and cry for more than an hour sometimes, even after being fed.
I know this guy is not hungry when he eats. I know he doesn’t need to eat at night, but I don’t have the energy to intentionally night wean right now. I’m at the end of my rope.

I have some autism symptoms, as does my girlfriend. Both of us are the products of late paternal age births. I tend to be pretty fluid and 'normal' in social situations while my girlfriend is fairly shy and not necessarily as astute socially;
With that said I tried counting every time I saw a Honda civic as a child and reached 10,000+, and for some reason was obsessed with writing down every make/model of car I knew in notebooks at school so I can't claim to be normal in the slightest lol.
Anyway reading posts here makes me not want an autistic child and clearly my partner and I are at a huge risk for such an outcome, and I find myself at a crossroads;
I'm perfectly happy with having a neurotypical child but I have no interest in an ASD child. Although I'm someone with ASD-like issues who was fairly socially inept in childhood, every time I see how these things cause issues in my work place for example, I get really upset and depressed and loath to think that I would bring such dysfunction into the world. And I know it's not easy for autistic people to live in an NT world that's largely dominated by NT people bar a couple niche industries.
In short, should I just not have kids? I don't know what to do. I want to understand my risk profile better. Did anyone here have children with autism thinking they would hate the experience and then grow to find it rewarding? I'm scared and confused.

I m a teenager and I am 18 years old. I am writing this one month before my final exams of 12th grade . Why am I writing this ? Probably because I don’t have any friends to talk with , my parents won’t understand me because my whole life is built on a lie. For example my parents are working a lot , they barely have time for me . In the remaining time, I talk to my mother, she thinks we have a very close relationship and that we can discuss anything, when in fact everything she knows about me is a lie. She thinks I have a lot of friends, I made up a lot of funny stories for her, she doesn't know what grades I have because I was average and never had any problems at school. So basically she doesn't know anything but that I'm happy. In fact I m not , but we ll move to this later on. Because of my lies, I was excluded from people who were my friends for 4 years, they didn't know me in reality but on the internet. They knew my address and name, which scared me to death. I lived for 2 months in panic that they are hunting me and that they want to hurt me. I'm still a little scared, but I realized how little people care about you. Excluding these things I have a serious problem with pnography. Probably pnography helped me to escape from the lies I created, to forget a little bit what a disaster I am. It has become an addiction that is momentarily destroying me day by day.

So I (F27) and my husband (M32) have been together for a little over 5 years. In that 5 years I have worked with him and his dad about 3 times.
His dad fired me the first time I worked with them as "it just isn't working out". It wasn't working out because I didn't have anything to do and he was mad I just sat there even though I had done everything.
The second time I worked with them I quit. My husband became very difficult at work and home. He would also try to "relay" information to me that his dad told me. When I would ask questions, he would make up answers because his dad and his conversation didn't get that far. Example: he would tell me his dad wants me to look at food truck ideas. I would ask what kind of food truck is it that he wants, he would say hamburgers, I'd talk to his dad the next day and his dad would say he was only thinking about it and isn't ready to do research yet and that he does not want anything to with hamburgers.
This time I'm "working" with them and my job is basically to watch our 1 year old and keep track of job expenses. It's not a lot, but I manage. I was just informed that once my other children are out of school that I am not to come back because it is too hard for my husband and FIL to work due to them wanting to spend time with the baby.
It's not my fault that they can't prioritize. Not to mention they rarely do anything with the baby as they ARE working. My husband gets mad if I ask him for help or a diaper while he is in the office because he is "working". So now they are basically taking away my income to split between the both of them and have told me to stay home with the baby.
I have depression and a lot of it stems from being home consistently and feeling trapped. So we are losing $200 a week and the little adult interaction I get is going away too.
I am starting to wish I never had kids because I can't work or do anything because we can't afford daycare, the two older ones (they were kind of adopted) the dad rarely pays child support and their mom will never help with them as she's on drugs, the older ones also refuse to do basic chores, even when I'm working (full time/part time/any amount) the responsibility of the kids is solely on me, I have to constantly fight with my 3 kids dad because 2 of them are behind and he doesn't want to believe it, he's also trying to force me to home school them and I am no teach, and then the baby is 100% on me regardless of whether my husband is home. He wants to play his games or whatever. He refuses to get up with the baby in the morning and wants me to wake him uo for work and if I need help, but even when I do he WONT get up.
I'm at my wits end. I'm spiraling and holding on for dear life at this point. I'd never say this anywhere else. I hate I feel this way and just wish I could disappear. I'm burnt out.

So I’m currently going through the pathway for getting assessed with ADHD. I’m 28, a new mum and a veterinary nurse. I have been qualified for 2 years, prior to that I was training for 3-4 years so this is the longest job I’ve ever had and stuck with. I usually get bored and leave jobs but this is my dream.
Basically I’m currently on maternity leave and due to return next month and my mental health coordinator has told me to ask for reasonable adjustments at work. I’m clueless tbh so I had a look online and some things really popped out and looks beneficial BUT are not possible in my industry.
Just wondered if any vet nurses/nurses/vets/vet techs had any examples of how they manage their ADHD at work. I lose focus, I hyperfocus, I’m so easily distracted, I forget things and if I’m honest, the idea of sitting down and thinking of everything is so overwhelming at the moment so I need some help! It’s much appreciated.

I hope youre all well, I am just writing to say that I am stepping away from this movement and sub. It has become something I no longer feel comfortable supporting. I created this sub with a vision in mind to take back canada from the policies that are causing housing to become unaffordable, the policies making fruit platters 45$, the policies that are causing wage stagnation, etc. Im well aware that mass unchecked immigration is a major contributor as it puts unnecessary demand on our very limited infrastructure, yet the goal was always to unite everyone in canada against cost of living, which is an issue plaguing us all.
The sub has since become essentially a carbon copy of canadahousing2. People complaining that comments they would never say in front of their employer for example are getting removed and people are calling it “censorship”. People are comparing this movement to the convoy and other covid movements, people are making hateful claims against the indigenous people and it’s basically become purely centred around mass immigration, to the point that some people want zero immigrants at all, even responsible ones. Ive seen quite a few “white people only in canada” comments and that is far too extreme for me to be comfortable with.
All this being said, the movement has taken a direction myself and a couple of others have expressed discomfort in being associated with and the accusations against this group, which were once unfounded, are beginning to have some truth behind them.
I will most likely be creating a newer, cleaner and more professional group centered around purely finding ways to cut down the cost of living. There WILL be a lot of censorship on this new one so as to keep the mission on track and relating to what we want it to be about. I dont want to take away anyone’s confidence in this movement as I believe all the mods are good people with good intentions who can steer this in the right direction. I just cannot be part of it anymore.

i’ve seen a lot of those types of things in tiktok and so i wanted to give it a try too, before anything i’m not the best in english so if there are any errors forgive me!
so i (16f) was born in a large family of 5 and two pets! there’s my father (44) my mother (46) my big sibling (17) and my younger brother (11), i love all of them dearly but there’s always an issues that makes my parents fight, and it’s because 1. i’m very lazy and sometimes i don’t clean the house perfectly like they wants and 2. my older sibling wants to go out with their best friend everyday (my fathers hates the idea) and 3. is my youngest brother, that we call R, so R is the only male child my parents had, and he’s the pride and joy of my father, but thankfully my father had always made sure to give us equally things, but even so R grown up being a pure brat since my father had never disciplined him, while with me and my older sibling, my father used to hit us and scream at us whenever we did something wrong, with my brother was the other way around, he cherished R in anything he did, and even if R was wrong, my Father would always make some kind of excuse to make R look like the victim or the innocent one, my mother in the other hand hates it and hates the way my father made R grow up and how R is now, something my mom hates even more is when she ask R to do some simple chores, like for example picking up his school supplies and clothes from the living room and put them in his bedroom, and R would just starts crying, throw tantrums and then call my father, that will just scream at me and my older sibling for not being the one picking up R stuff instead of him.
So after a little back story, here what happened today for making me decide not to talk with my father again, so, my mom is a very quiet person and will always try her best to make me and siblings look like pure angels and the perfect children infront of strangers and family, but my brother will always make sure to ruin everything, today, my mother went out with the dog for a walk and for then pick up my brother from school since she was already outside (my brother usually comes home alone since we live a few meters away from his school) and apparently when she arrives, he saw R group if friend being very quiet and polite, and then there’s my brother who was jumping and screaming around, apparently he even took one of his friends umbrella and brake it, and as his friends walked away, he started playing with our cousin (11m), and R falls into the ground bc he just kept jumping around and screaming, my mom got of course angry (she told him multiple times to stay quiet and to stop being silly or he would hurt himself) and so she scolded him, as they got upstairs to our home, R starts screaming, crying and throwing things just bc my mom scolded him, my mom then hits him (she had not even once hit him since my father prohibited her to hit him) and since my father was at home, he starts screaming at my mom face and even hit her in her arm, me and R were looking at the scene and i could see the fear in my mom eyes as she starts crying and telling my father to leave the house, a few minutes pass and my father then walked to my mother and started bombarding her with love, something he had probably never done in years, my mom was begging him to leave and leave her alone, but instead, since my father didn’t want to leave, she was the one leaving. so, would i be the AH if i stop speaking to my brother and father?

So as ya'll know, Myself, Fern and Tom had planned some Mother's Day gifts for MIL. I gotta admit, I was worried that Margaret would show up and ruin the whole thing, but it was actually a surprisingly good day- mostly because she wasn't there, which was the OBVIOUS elephant in the room the whole time. Tom worked the grill for a while and we had MIL open the gifts I had planned - it was a small pirate chest filled with letters from Myself, Fern, and Tom telling her how wonderful of a mother she was (I had aged them and weathered them to look waterlogged and like they'd been around for a long time). I made her a boondoggle that said "number one mom" that had our names dangling from it. She opened the collage...the whole thing left her in happy tears, which was nice but also sad at the same time. She said "OP, you're such a shit for making me cry" then gave me a big hug. MIL started to talk about it all ("It's been really rough and I've been having a really hard time"), but it was cut off by the men fussing over the grill. I made the rest of lunch and we had a really, really good time for the most part.
I clocked FIL's behavior in Margaret's absence. He wandered off into the yard and stood by himself for extended periods of time, staring at the ground in silence. I registered it as pain- I'm not gonna lie, it was PALPABLE how much easier and fun and quiet the afternoon was with Margaret being intentionally excluded. I could tell that MIL really needed to talk about what was going on, especially since she was being absolutely flooded with love (in stark contrast to what she's been receiving from Margaret). I approached her towards the end of the evening- she revealed to me what she had put in the letter. Essentially, it reads something like this.
"dear Margaret- I am sorry that we are having such a hard time seeing eye to eye. I have had my conflicts with Fern and Tom in the past that we have been able to resolve; Since you do not wish to speak to me directly, I am hoping that we can communicate this way to see each other more clearly. I think youre upset with me because I married your dad- but I am not sure because you will not tell me what is wrong. I want to make peace with you, but I cannot do that with you so blatantly disrespecting me. I feel like I deserve an apology- I feel used by you, especially since I signed your lease for you when you asked right before this happened. Please write me back so we can resolve this, I love you."
Apparently, MIL had FIL read it before she sent it- this looks like a last ditch effort to rectify the tension, but I'm not sure what the outcome will be because we ALL know that Margaret is going to freak the fuck out the second she reads it. Margaret can't handle any blame and has no sense of accountability. We can all see it coming- so definitely expect an update on that.
On the ride home I absolutely fell apart. It made me so sad that she has had to go to these lengths to remedy a situation that she didn't cause in the first place. I was also very, very angry at FIL and basically the whole family for letting this go on for as long as it has.. I ended up confronting Tom about this again. I told him that there are 600 strangers on reddit calling him and his whole family spineless, and that I have found myself defending them because I know otherwise, but that in this situation those 600 strangers are absolutely right. I said that I know his dad is human, but that they are all a bunch of cowards for the "fend for yourself, just let it go" attitude they have when it comes to each of them being so wildly abused and disrespected AS A FAMILY. Fern deserves better than to have a sister that has told ME that "the reason Fern got SA'd as a kid is because h"e put himself out there like that" (excuse me?). Cory deserves better than a wife who threatens to call the cops on him for not making her dinner (huh?) . Tom deserves a better sister than one who has called me to tell me "He's a creep and I bet he's done things to little girls before" (no idea where that one came from). MIL deserves better than someone who asks her for money and favors only to turn around and rip her to shreds (the entitlement?). And FIL deserves better than to have such little self esteem that he'd rather watch his family disintegrate rather than cut out the cancer.
Yeah, I was heated. Margaret makes shit up, takes things out of context, and regularly demonstrates that she genuinely feels the world is out to get her and that everyone else is the problem. I did not let up.
Tom listened very patiently- we exchanged a lot of words and the conversation took over an hour, the end result being "My dad is nearing approachable about this subject. Today showed him the kind of life we can have without her; you definitely launched a psychological bomb at him with how well you planned the day and how much you showed MIL that she's worth something. He's struggling, but I promise that I'll talk to him about it soon. We talk 3 times a week, he knows its coming."
The last statement I made was "I am not an 'on the fence' person. I'm the only one who has outright picked a side- and it's not Margaret's because I refuse to enable this insanity anymore. It's wrong, and you guys are wrong for coddling a grown woman's hurt ego knowing that its harming literally EVERYONE else in the family. Pick a side, and be done with it. I refuse to let MIL go this alone."
We will see how much longer the circus goes on. I anticipate the events that happened this weekend leading to the biggest blow up that Margaret has had yet- the shady online posts have already started (per Tom, who has found it amusing and low of her). It's about to get a lot crazier when this letter hits, and even worse when she eventually visits FIL and sees a giant collage with all the kids except for her.
There's SO many of you that have said that you are emotionally invested in my story- I'll continue to update so we all get the closure we need. Thanks for all the support (and trash talking, I've gotten quite a few LOLs out of the comments).

My (53F) mother passed away 10 years ago and I inherited a few select items of jewellery from her. Those are things she cherished and wore often. I have been wearing her watch for the past 10 years, my sister (50F) holds a golden bracelet that she loves and there are three items left that me and my sister have been planning to give to my three daughters (20/18/18) to commemorate 10 years since her passing. They always knew this and were close to their gradma. There is also no quarrel about who gets what. Enter my brother (48m) and his fiancée (38f) of two years. My brother is demanding one of the pieces for his future wife to wear. He claims we never involved him in any discussion as to what should happen to the pieces and we can’t just claim those to ourselves just because we are women. He says it’s very common for heirloom jewellery to be given to the daughter-in-law and he and his fiancée even cited Meghan Marke and Kate Middleton as examples. Legally there is no case to be made, my mother left those items to me. I have politly declined their request explaining that I can’t let one of my daughters go without and that they were very close to their grandma while his fiancée did not know her. His fiancée is apparently distraught and claims we don’t see her as family. My father wants me to keep the items and give one to my brother so that all of my mom’s kids eventually get one item and I can do as I see fit with the rest. My sister kindly has offered up her bracelet. I am torn. I don’t t want to antoganoize my brother and my sister-in law but I find my three daughters’ claim so much more valid. They have been looking forward to this for years. And I don’t want my sister to sacrifice her bracelet. If there were more pieces I would not hesitate to give something to her. It’s not a matter of money. I have offered other things out of my mom’s estate, they feel it’s not the same. I am also taking into account that my brother was married to his first wife 10 years ago and despite having been close to my mother she got no jewellery either but was left two of my mothers’s watercolor drawings. I feel like my mother left those pieces to me with the intention of eventually passing them on to her granddaughters. Would she have subscribed to the „each child or each daughter plus daughter-in-law has to get a piece of jewellery“ logic she would have left something to my brother or his then-wife in the first place. My daughters told me the would accept any decision I make but I feel it would be highly unfair to burden them with any involvement in the decision making. The choice is mine to make and I have to live with the consequences. According to my father they are debating to uninvite me from the wedding over this. I stand by my decision but It’s hard.. I was always on good terms with my brother and cordial with his fiancée.. so AITA?

Dr. Murray also reiterated that he is mentally able to and was speaking to me from the house where he had spent the morning with Michael. This doctor is extremely successful (we check everyone out) and does not need this gig so he is totally unbiased and ethical"Panish asked Trell whether Phillips "characterization to Ortega, given no background check was done, was a lie". Trell responded that he didn't know what Phillips knew or was thinking when he wrote that email to Ortega. Trell also said he expected Randy Phillips to testify at some point during the trial, so he could address the email himself Panish then asked Trell, "Sir, you never checked out one single thing about Dr. Murray -- you've already told me that, correct?""As of the date of the email, that would've been correct",Trell said. When pressed by Panish, Trell said that Phillips' statement that Murray had been checked out, along with the executive's claim that the doctor 'does not need this gig' were inaccurate. "I don't know where Randy's understanding or impression comes from", Trell said.Trell testified that Phillips might have been "misinformed" or simply was stating his impression of the Las Vegas cardiologist Panish: "But no one at AEG checked Dr. Murray to see if he was successful or not, isn't that true?"Trell: "Yes" Panish then asked several pointed questions about whether Shawn Trell agreed with Phillips telling Ortega they'd checked Murray out. One of Panish's questions was whether Trell thought Phillips' email was 'acceptable conduct' Panish called Phillips' statement "a flat out lie" and asked Trell whether he agreed with it or if it signified how AEG did business. Trell said he didn't know what Phillips thought he knew when he wrote the message. "I know this statement is not accurate, but you'd have to speak with Mr. Phillips about what he thought or meant in saying it," Trell said. He said AEG typically only runs background checks on candidates applying for full-time jobs with AEG, not independent contractors. Panish: "Isn't it true AEG Live does not do background check on independent contractors?"Trell: "That's true" Trell said that no one from AEG interviewed Dr. Murray because he was an independent contractor. Panish showed a document used by AEG entitled "Disclosure and Authorization to Conduct Background Check". Doc is used for employment, promotion, retention, contingent or the rate staffing, consulting, sub-contract work, or volunteer work. Panish asked if there was any reason why Dr. Murray was not given a background check. "He wasn't an employee, he wasn't applying for a full time position with the company," Trell explained.Trell said theoretically they could've asked to check Dr. Murray's background and credit. AEG Cross Jessica Bina began her examination by showing the letter submitted by AEG's CFO to the Estate of Michael Jackson for their review. She asked Shawn Trell about the estimate presented to Jackson's estate that included Murray's $300k fees. She asked why it was prepared. Shawn Trell said it was done at the request of the estate. He said Jackson's estate wanted to know state of tour finances when Jackson died. Trell said the report was requested by the Estate after a series of meetings after Michael's death. "The purpose of the meeting was to wind up the business affairs of the tour due to Michael's death", Trell said. "It was my understating in June Tohme was back in the picture in some capacity. I'm not sure which, Mr. DiLeo was in it too," Trell saidBina: "Is there any request for payment?" Trell: "No, there's no demand for payment, it's for review" Stebbins Bina asked about the inclusion of Murray's fee in the document. Bina showed the report that was attached to the letter. Murray's fee on the document had a footnote. Trell read what that footnote said, and explained why estate wasn't asked for Murray's fee. Next to "Management Medical" there's a reference to footnote 3. Note 3: 'Contract is not signed by Michael Jackson and such signature was condition precedent to any payment obligation' - Footnote on Murray fee.Trell testified Webking, the CFO for AEG, did not ask Michael's Estate for payment of Dr. Murray's salary "You testified you were somewhat confused (by the inclusion of the $300,000)?", Bina asked Trell as she projected the list, dated July 17, 2009, on a screen for jurors."Do you see there's something in parentheses?', Stebbins Bina asked, zooming in to blow up a footnote from AEG CFO Frederick Webking that stated Michael Jackson never signed Murray's contract, so its terms were not enforceable. "Is Mr. Webking asking the estate to pay?", Stebbins Bina asked Trell. "No", he replied, explaining that upon reflection he believed Mr. Webking was just being 'thorough' by including the $300,000 as a budgeted cost. "Did Mr. Webking make a mistake as you thought yesterday?",she asked. "No, he did not", Trell answered Second report made to the Estate on 9/18/09, there was no amount next to management medical. Stebbins Bina then showed a Sept. 2009 report of This Is It's finances to Michael Jackson's estate. Murray's fee is not listed in that document Trell went through his job description with AEG. He said he has five lawyers in his department and has worked on thousands of agreements. Trell explained what PMK is -- Person Most Knowledgeable, identified by the company to testify on its behalf. Trell said he didn't know about all the topics he was designated, so he had to do some studying and interviews with people As to Ortega's contract, Trell said he was aware of a string of emails being at least a part of the original agreement with Kenny. "When we were done here yesterday, I looked at Kenny Ortega's original agreement," Trell said.Trell noted he hadn't looked at Ortega's agreement since it was entered into in 2009. Before the afternoon break, Trell and jury were shown Kenny Ortega's tour agreement. It was signed in April 2009. The agreement was three pages of legalese, with several pages of emails attached that confirmed the terms. The first three pages included some paragraphs that described who owned the rights to This Is It content. A large number of emails are part of the agreement as exhibits. Trell said he recalled the emails exchange and admitted again not being proud of forgetting the cover contract portion. Bina showed Ortega's executed contract with everyone's signature on it. Trell said Kenny Ortega was paid after his contract was signed. Trell, Phillips and Kathy Jorrie were involved in drafting and negotiating the contract with Michael Jackson. For MJ, Trell said Dr. Tohme Tohme and attorneys Dennis Hawk and Peter Lopez represented him. He said there were multiple drafts. "It's my understanding they were talking to, or at least receiving offers from, a competitive of ours, Live Nation," Trell said.Trell also said that before signing an agreement with AEG, Jackson had been considering a tour offer from its main competitor, Live Nation. Bina showed the jury the final tour agreement. Trell said he went to MJ's home at Carolwood to sign it. Upon arrival, Trell said Mr. Jackson got up from where he was seated, and said 'Hi, welcome, I'm Michael." Trell said it was pretty funny, since he was a very distinct person. Trell said they shook hands, he had a good firm handshake and his voice was not what people think "He popped up, came over, introduced himself, was very cordial, there was a real positive energy, good vibe in the room," Trell said. "He seemed genuinely enthused," Trell added. "He had the contract in front of him, said he read every page, seemed very enthused." Trell said they all signed it and Mr. Jackson was really keen on the 3-D stuff, that he was already down the road in his mind. "I was probably there just a little less than an hour. And that was the only time I met him," Trell recalled.Bina discussed the contract for the tour agreement: A first class performance by Artist at each show on each of the approved itineraries. Contract: Artist shall perform no less than 80 minutes at each show, and the maximum show length for each show shall be 3.5 hours. Artist shall approve a sufficient number of shows on itineraries proposed by promoter or producer as to recoup the advances made.Trell said compensation was agreed on 90-10 split. Artist received 90% of what's defined contingent compensation. Trell explained to jury how concerts get paid for. One scenario is artist pays for production up front. A second scenario is that the promoter gives artist an advance, and then they use the money to put together the show. The third option, Trell said, is the artist pays someone like AEG Live to produce and promote the show, with costs to come out of their pay. Trell called the second and third option like an interest-free loan. In Jackson's case, AEG agreed to a 90/10 split of show's proceeds. Jackson would have received the 90% portion, Trell said. Jackson was also on the hook for a 5% production fee AEG Live was promoter & producer. "We advanced the money necessary to mount the tour," Trell explained. "It's interest free money".Trell testified that Jackson's advance, which covered his $100,000-a-month rent on his mansion and a $3-million payment to settle a lawsuit that would free up his performance rights, was considered a loan to be paid back to AEG. Part of the advance was to pay off the settlement agreement of $3 million in London court. The underlying dispute was that a company owned the rights for Jackson's live performance. "The rights needed to be freed up," Trell said.The advances were to be paid back to AEG Live before the split of revenue. Production Advances were capped to $7.5 million. Contract: Artist was responsible for all the production costs in excess of the cap and had to reimburse promoter. "Michael Jackson was known to have very elaborate productions," Trell said. "Production values can get significant, for lack of a better word, it really depends on how many bells and whistles they want," Trell said.Trell said AEG would not advance money without the artist requesting it. Trell said it's not only typical and customary, but standard and artist needs to secure either non-appearance or cancellation insurance. Their interest in the policy, Trell said, was to cover the advances and production costs incurred with the production of the show. "If the were no obligations to AEG, the payout would go back to the artist", Trell explained, "It just recoups our loan made to the artist."Trell was also asked about elements of tour insurance policies and an agreement with former manager Tohme Tohme. Jackson's contract called for him to represent to AEG that he didn't have any health conditions that would keep him from performing. Contract: Artistco hereby represents and warrants that artist does not possess any known health conditions, injuries or ailments that would reasonable be expected to interfere with Artist's first class performance at each of the shows during the termOh Tohme's $100k per month agreement, Trell was shown a January contract that Jackson signed to pay that amount. However, Trell said Tohme's agreement was predicated on Jackson getting tour cancellation insurance by a certain date. Deadline passed and by that point Tohme was no longer Jackson's manager, so he wasn't entitled to be paid his monthly fee. January 24, 2009 -- agreement entered with Dr. Tohme Tohme. Trell said Michael was involved and signed this agreement. "This agreement was entered into January 26, Trell testified. "There are conditions that needed to be met before any payment could be made."One of the the conditions was placement of non-appearance insurance, Trell said. That placement was done in late April, early May. In May, AEG received letter from MJ saying Tohme didn't rep him anymore. I dont even know how to start. Im 1 month and 6 days in my first job as a nurse. Just graduated last year and from all the hospitals i applied i just got accepted by one this april. Im in the ICU and a new grad so i didn't really know what else to expect other than it will be difficult. I just didn't know it would exhaust me so bad i got sick twice already. This job makes me cry after work because at the end of the day you only get to sleep and do it all over again and become so anxious that what if this shift will be so toxic again i dont wanna go through this.
I just want to disappear completely. But I can't i have to help my parents with the bills and my sister shes still on school. My girlfriend is moving out of country and i hope to catch up to her. But i cant tell how long i can last with this forsaken job i wanted to apply for work at home jobs but they all need experience and my parents wouldn't allow me cause i wouldn't have job experience and will not eb able to apply for a nursing job abroad.
i went to nursing school because it's what all of my family told me to get so i could go abroad and have a better life. Im so tired of being scared every single day that maybe this shift will take all my energy I don't even have time to at least bring myself to a coffe shop and just rest my day offs are all sleep cause in a week we only have 2 days off and the rest is 12+ hours. I just wanna die and rest but I can't just leave everyone struggling but I can't take it anymore i have fluoxitine but idk if it is helping me or anything i just don't understand anything right now.

my friend (17 f) has some problems with social anxiety and coming to school. there arent many good therapists around, and i (17 f) wanted to help her becasue i really care about her. so i told her that the therapist i go to is amazing and i really think she could help her. and i really do think that. now i just keep thinking about it and i really do have an attachment to my therapist. i feel like its special, at least to me. and im worried that it wont be anymore.
even now, before she even started going, i just know that id feel jealous if she talked about her therapy sessions. but to me, her feeling better and having a good therapist is more important.
i dont really talk about her in therapy, only a couple times, so i dont think that would be a problem. but there is just one thing that i want to tell my therapist about before she comes. i feel like i shouldnt do that, even though i dont mean it in a bad way or want to talk more about her later.. i want to mention to her about my friends struggles with empathy, because i mainly think that it could help her treat her better and also i think its something that possibly connects to other problems of hers.
but thats the only thing i want to say before she comes. i dont want to sound like i want to talk badly about her or something, i just think that its a big part of her that made our friendship harder in the past. - i wanted to know if i can just tell her about this? i dont want to talk about her much, i think our friendship is really special and i dont have any problems with her other than that.
i have my own theories as to why she might be acting the way she is, like her parents being less affectionate for example.. and i think thats quite an important thing to know? i realize that its her job to figure all that out, i just dont think my friend realizes all that and would want to mention her views on things to her since she knows that she shouldnt.
i really do want her to get help. im just not sure if its okay if i tell the therapist about that?

I all, I’ve tried doing my research but couldn’t really find much opinions on this. Is it worth it to get a nursing degree from Nova Southeastern? I’m not too concerned about how the school runs lectures/etc, what I am concerned about is whether the school is worth it (i.e, passing NCLEX, securing a job). Essentially what is the schools/nurses who attended the school reputation in the world of healthcare?
Any advice/opinions would be appreciated!

Hello everyone! I know this question has been asked a few times but none of the questions about PLTC cover what I would like to know exactly.
My PLTC course starts today. I’m a student from Ontario and have not yet joined a group for creating indices. Is it possible to join them during the course? (In Ontario we receive emails about groups as our law school ends since we don’t have a course like the PLTC. I’m not sure about the process in BC).
Could someone kindly provide an example of a method for tabbing they found useful? Also does the course’s reading schedule cover all the binder material or should I allocate time to covering readings beyond what the course requires?
