I (24f) have never really had a relationship with my mother (43f.)
I have 4 younger siblings called C, J, A and T. Myself, C and J all have different fathers apart from A and T who have the same father as each other.
Life got hard when we moved from my childhood home at age 9-10. My mother would have sex with different men, I would hear it and sometimes catch her in the act.
My mother got with an irishmen when I was 10-11 years old who didn't like me very much. I was told "it's rude to make a woman wait, stay in bed" as he tried to have sex with my mother downstairs. He would run up the stairs at me and call me "evil" and other things. In the end I was kicked out and was forced to live with my grandmother. I would see my mother on some weekends but he would do everything he could to get a reaction out of me. The relationship ended when he robbed my mothers car and pushed her down the stairs. I moved back with my mother.
My mother met another man... A man who would abuse her physically, verbally and emotionally. Thankfully C and J went to live with my grandmother whilst I witnessed the brunt of the abuse towards my mother. It led to me eventually moving out and also moving into my grandmother's. My mother, grandmother, myself and my 2 siblings at the time were forced to go into police protection which meant moving to a hotel because of the man my mother chose to be with. My mother ended up doing a runner with her boyfriend whilst leaving my grandmother, myself and 2 siblings at the hotel. We were forced to move hotel in case my mother had told her boyfriend where we were. It was a long time until we were able to go back to my grandmother's. When we moved back to my grandmother's the police had found my mother on CCTV and were able to bring her back.
My mother eventually got a new home, we all moved back in with her. I moved out not long after as that is when she got with A and T's father. I could hear my mother having sex whilst I was playing Bratz with C, I went into the room as I refused to let my younger sibling hear what I had to hear as a child. My mother laughed at me and so I reacted by shouting, A and T's father strangled me whilst C was watching and I ended up walking to my grandmother's at 1am. When A and T's father attacked my mother I grew tired of phoning the police and having history repeat itself but I phoned up anyhow and got told off by my mother for calling. It was the end of their relationship but I'd had enough and moved back in with my grandmother.
I attempted to take my life at 14 and twice at 15 due to family issues and bullying at school. My mother of course acted like she hadn't a clue why I would try and was pushing the blame on others.
When I moved to Wales at 17 my mother did not bother to call, text or come to see me (she drove.)
We had a very on-off relationship because my grandmother would force me to have a relationship with her.
When I got with my son's father and got our own home.. I had a miscarriage. My mother picked me up from the hospital however when she dropped me off home she was more worried about her phone that was broke and stayed all of 10 minutes. When my son's father and I broke up due to DV and I had to get out of the property she offered me a place to stay. I thought if she couldn't be a mother she could at least be a grandmother to my son but I realise now I shouldn't have had high expectations.
I wasn't the only one treated bad by my mother, my grandmother was treated awfully too, my grandmother would always cry about how she was being treated and would wish she would have had more children. My grandmother lived over the road from my mother but my mother wouldn't bother, my grandmother made the effort instead.
In 2022 my grandmother got diagnosed with terminal cancer. My mother still didn't make an effort with my grandmother or myself. My grandmother and I would joke how you would need to make an appointment to see my mother.
In January of this year my grandmother took a turn and wanted to stay at my mother's as she was worried about being on her own. My mother made a big deal about being her carer and kicked up a fuss. In February of this year my grandmother did go to hospital as they wanted to do checks. My grandmother passed 17th February, my mother, my mothers new partner and I were there. Before my grandmother passed my mother was telling my grandmother she was fed up, she was tired, she wanted it to be done with, she started praying (she hasn't been religious until now) as well as making other comments which upset me.
At my grandmother's funeral my mother had mentioned how she had a vision the baby she had lost recently was being held by my nan (I have a recorded phone call to my mother admitting she aborted the baby and the baby was not a miscarriage.) I was disgusted.
My grandmother told myself and other family members she had left us money. I asked 3 weeks after my grandmother had passed and was given abuse for asking. I was told my grandmother's sister was handling it, I messaged my grandmother's sister who said she didn't have it and when I told my mother she said she was "disgusted" because I had asked so soon after my grandmother's death. I told my mother I was done with her and the rest of the family because I only really had my grandmother and it didn't matter. I have since blocked my mother and C however kept my other 3 siblings unblocked.
My youngest son's dad has been managing contact with my mother and children as I would never stop her from being a grandmother, it is between myself and her, not my children.
The reason I have blocked C is because she attacked me twice when I was pregnant with my first son over asking her to sit in the front seat and give my mother directions, C was making comments so I made a comment back as well as that C attacked me 2 days before my grandmother passed because I had to go to my grandmother's for her cats scratch board, blankets etc and C went with me, it felt like C always had to be with me when going to my grandmother's which I voiced as the time before this C had went over to get my nintendo switch I had borrowed my grandmother, C told me to get out off my grandmother's property and I refused as I needed the cat's belongings leading to her attacking me... I believe C has anger issues and I do my best to stay away from her as she is very short tempered.
I could go further into detail about my childhood and whatnot but I feel this is long enough and you have got the gist of what I'm going through.

I apologize if im posting in the wrong sub. I desperately need to get some insights and legal/relationship advice about a situation I'm in. (Long post ahead/Created a new account specifically for this)
I (f29) was again physically attacked by an ex (29m) sa office last night,, we are both working on the same company. This has been going on for a year and we dated about a year and a half. I ended the relationship kanina lang ng umaga, nung nagka-chance ako, pero I need to know if its worth fighting for myself or aalis nalang ako sa trabaho and iiwan ang magandang opportunty and promotion na darating this coming 2024 after years of harwork.
Background: We were atleast 8 months in nung nalaman ko na He's been taking his meds due to anger management and anxiety. Being the partner who was supportive and understanding, I embraced who he was wholeheartedly. The beginning of a relationship was definitely happy one despite of some serious antics kapag naggalit sya for just because reasons. Ex: hindi nya nagustuhan ang suot ko, at may nakausap ako na lalaki sa trabaho (I'm a trainer and that's what I do, I train people until they are fully equipped). At first, nakakayanan ko pa to, mura doon, mura dito, block dito, unblock doon, etc etc. I was very understanding and palagi ko naiisip na, baka nat-trigger lang ung anger issues nya. Kaya I adjusted, I listened to him, and basically just followed everything what he's been asking. Ups and dows, for a whole year and somehow we managed to still be happy and contented.
Now, here comes anniv - may nakita akong nagtxt sa phone nya. His "ex partner". They have a beautiful daughter who is about 12 now and I myself is a single woman without a child. I knew the status from the get go as I was able to confirm that they are co-parenting and I also am in contact sa Mother nya. Nakita ko ung text about the Ex asking where he was. Nakipag-hiwalay ako ora mismo, at nagleave ako sa trabaho ng at least 1 week without asking for an explanation.
His mother kept on calling me during these times and was the one asked me to listen to her Son's explanation. I gave in.
I listened to Him, he said that the reason why this ex was asking where he was kasi time na nya sa Anak nya. Naniwala ako. (Pero dito na lahat nagstart ang duda, at matitinding away namen)
Fast forward, nagstart na syang mamisikal everytime na umaalis ako sa relationship namin. Sampal, suntuk, sabunot, sipa, kurot, sakal. Name it. Nagawa na nya lahat to sakin. This is plus the name calling, degrading, cursing, and humiliating sa labas kapag may hindi sya nagustuhan. Tyinetempo na mga pananakt nya kapag walang tao kung asan kame, (ex, parking, bahay, daan), pero madami times na napapansn na ng mga tao sa trabaho kung pano nya ako tratuhin. Though these are very minimal kasi magaling syang tyumempo and kutob to. Ex, nakaharap ako sa PC, kunware may kukunin sya sa office table pero kukurutin nya ako ng malakas, and sure na magkakapasa.
I'm done.
I'm tired, and I'm thinking of ending my own life sa lahat ng pagsisisi ko sa buhay ko and for allowing a monster to do all of these to me. Galit ako sa sarli ko dahil sobrang bobo ko. I grew up na walang Father figure and looking back, nakikita ko ang mga magulang ko na nag-aaway at nagphyphyiscalan and when I met Him, he was able to condition me na He would be that " right person".
Now, my only ask is. Anong pwede ko gawin? Is it worth it na labanan sya sa trabaho by reporting him which will also affect what other people perceive me and fight for what is right which is matagal ko na dapat gnawa or just leave, and start all over again sa bagong trabaho without looking back since nakipaghiwalay na ako at pumayag naman na sya? Natatakot akong saktan nya ako at huntingin nya ako, sakaling I chose the first option. There were times na papakitaan nya ako ng pic ng baril, yayabangan ako na mga tito nya were either mga pulis, and some are NPA (naconfirm ko lahat to). I want to fight for myself pero natatakot ako..for reference, I have proofs, screenhots, and images of my bruises. I can also easily get cctv footages as i created a journal indicating the date and time whenever may pisikalang nagaganap.

So I figured I might as well give that a shot here with the only real adventures R Talsorian has published for RED: Tales of the RED - Street Stories. One thing I want to make clear. This is a critical review - it is intended to find ways that things can go wrong in adventure design, in prep, and in play. It is not intended to crap all over someone's hard work, but to give them some honest feedback on what they did right and what they did wrong. Note that some things I may find fault with are out of the author's hands (for example, layout, which is uniform through the book). In that case, please understand the critique is intended for the publisher, not the author. Finally, I use a "four corners" approach to my reviews. If there's DLC that patches a plot hole, or a Twitter thread that answers all my questions, great. If it's not in the book, it's not considered in the review. Other reviews in this series: Agents of Desire A Bucket of Popcorn-Flavored Kibble Drummer And The Whale Haven't Got A Stitch To Wear Reaping The Reaper Staying Vigilant Bathed In Red One Red Night Alright, and now we can finally get on with the review! I've had a hell of a week, and it's nice to kick back, relax, and open up a delightful episode of Criminal Minds: Night City! We're starting with A Night At The Opera. Sadly, RTal doesn't put the author's name on the cover page, and none of my Google-sleuthing could figure out who actually wrote the damned thing. However, JGray informs me that the author is Jay Walker. A Night at the Opera, or just Opera going forward, is a bit of an odd duck, and I can't wait to get into it. We're going to break this review into three pieces: What the adventure is about (both thematically and plot-wise), what are the adventure's weak spots, and how might we address them. Plot / Theme: Opera is an investigative story. It deals with a cyberpsycho ex-Vampire vampire who is obsessed with a news anchor and trying to biosculpt a "bride" for himself. So already we've got themes of parasocial relationships, obsession, stalking, and some interesting Gothic horror potential. I would be happier if the adventure did more to bring them to the fore. The PCs get contacted by someone claiming to be the representative of Rocklin Augmentic's CEO. This person wants the PCs to find the CEO's missing daughter, Lucy. She's the latest of six kidnappings, none of which the local cops have been able to solve. They suspect the Philharmonic Vampyres (a romantic "gang" of Lestat-wannabes), because "the disappearances have been happening on their turf and fitting their behavior." What behavior? It's never elaborated, and I hope your players never ask. This is basically a flimsy excuse to point the PCs at this gang. Conveniently, the Vampyres are hosting a weird stage retelling of Dracula at the Symphony Hall. Campus Security points out that it would be a great way to infiltrate the Vampyres and see what they're up to! The PCs show up, and are treated to some mild exposition if they talk to the students. I want to point out that there is some great character work packed into these little conversational snippets, and they've been formatted to be easy to read (placed in a bullet list, with decent spacing and italics). Literally, as soon as I read this, I had a picture in my head. I'll bet you did, too. That's good design. So the crew gets in here, there's beautiful burlesque dancers everywhere, and the whole thing's dripping with a weird eroticism for a kidnapped woman case. The PCs get seats right up front! Which backfires horribly when two random goons (an ex-Bozo and an ex-Inquisitor) show up and attack the stage! (Why are they attacking? It's never explained, and I hope your players don't ask). There is a fight. The ex-Bozo and the ex-Inquisitor retreat as soon as things start to go against them, and the GM is encouraged not to pull strings to save them, but to try to salvage one of them if they can. The adventure's intent is clearly to get one or both of these cats out of there. Once things are resolved, the Master of the Philharmonic Vampyres shows up and tells everyone to cheese it. The adventure apparently assumes that the PCs will not have any questions for this dude, because no information is prepped. After that, several days pass. The PCs are told to go to a noodle truck, where the Vampyres give them an invite to meet the Master, delivered by a dude who calls himself (*deep sigh*) Renfield. Yes, we get it. You've read Gothic horror. There's a scene where the PCs talk to the Master of the Vampyres and he tells them the guy who kidnapped Lucy (and five other women) is actually Professor Huntver (a psych professor who went cyberpsycho and started calling himself Lord Ruthven). Clearly, someone wanted to get some mileage out of their Gothic horror reading list with these names, oy veh. Anyway, the PCs are tasked with killing Ruthven at an abandoned chapel. (Why doesn't the Master do it? It's never explained, and I hope your players don't ask!) There is one entrance to the chapel (all others are "blocked by rubble"). It's guarded by the ex-Bozo and ex-Inquisitor the PCs met earlier, and some mooks. They fight to the death; there's no dialog or information the PCs can learn. The chapel itself consists of two rooms. There's an empty room first with some really cool (albeit disgusting) imagery. There's a skin-rug made from ganger hides, a strung-up dude who's been clearly messed up in the head chanting "Black Mass for our Lord..." over and over again, pentagrams and blood-red candle wax. Yeesh. So after your players get done poking everything with a ten foot pole, they can go down the stairs into the only other room: the chapel itself. Down here, there's two turrets and the cyberpsycho shrink himself: Lord Ruthven. Completely delusional, he attacks to kill the PCs, and there's another fight to the death. That's it. Alright, so let's talk about how this can go horribly wrong for you, shall we? Pitfalls: First off, there are a number of weird unresolved plot holes. The adventure states up front that the "representative" for the CEO is actually the Master of the Vampyres. There is no mention of the CEO or his daughter being confused that the PCs want payment from him, or anything to do with that. It's a bizarre plot hole that probably resulted from poor editing and word count restrictions. Second, for an investigation scenario, there is very little actual investigating done. Literally the only way the PCs can investigate is if they follow up on some random tips that seem totally disconnected from the adventure about a missing psych professor (Huntver, the actual villain). Like, imagine if you were the investigator assigned to this case. What would you want to see? Well, probably Lucy's dorm room and her roommate. These are never detailed. What about her abduction site? It is never detailed, nor are the abductions given any interesting details. What about talking to her friends? Nope, none listed. It is absolutely maddening. The scene with the Master after the stage fight is not going to run as scripted. The PCs are going to demand answers, and start looking for a way to implicate the Master in the disappearances when he demands they leave. That "several day" interlude between the stage fight and the noodle truck? Hope your PCs don't want to investigate anything or look into the other disappearances, or really exercise any agency at all. So the chapel. There are a few things to note about this fight. One, the maps don't match the text. This is the chapel's first floor: Remember the skin rug, pentagrams, and strung-up ganger? Yeah, neither did the cartographers. Second, this is essentially a linear dungeon. There is functionally nothing to do in it except fight stuff. I find that disappointing, because if the vibe we're going for here is Ravenloft in Cyberpunk, then we ought to be building something as awesome as Castle-frigging-Ravenloft! Editing: Remedy the weird dissonance with the hook by having a friendly Fixer reach out and tap the crew to work for the CEO. Next, cut the whole intro out past the hook. The cops don't know squat. Have the CEO order the cops work with the crew, and then seed clues about the Vampyres into Lucy's life. The cops have already cleaned the other five women's apartments, but Lucy's abduction is fresh enough the PCs can get some good leads. Have the cops be tired, apathetic, and unhelpful, but they point the PCs to Lucy's dorm room, her abduction site, and her best friend, Monika Marshall.
Next up, the Stage Fight. Completely zero the ex-Bozo and ex-Inquisitor. Instead, the PCs are invited up to the Master's box for a private conversation, only to have the show interrupted by the same hulking monsters who kidnapped Lucy! They're here to kill the Master, and rave about their "Dark Master, Lord Ruthven, lord of all vampires!" These guys can be talked off the ledge with high DV rolls, or simply killed, but both have a suicide vest full of grenades tied to their biomonitors. When either dies, they go off, doing damage as an AP grenade. The hulks are former mental patients bulked up with linear frames (which is a great excuse to give them a ton of hit points and low armor). Have the Master intervene personally against the hulking menaces, and have him show off a bit, drawing fire off the PCs while the PCs get to be Big Damned Badasses. Once he's clearly been badly wounded, and the crowd evacuated, he gives the PCs the information about Ruthven, clearly not expecting the madman would try this. Unfortunately, the Master is badly injured, and he has other members wounded. If the PCs can kill Ruthven, though, he'll owe them a favor. Completely delete the noodle-truck scene. The Master points them at the abandoned chapel and calls it a night. Let the PCs rest a bit that night, using whatever resources they want to get themselves fighting fit, and then get ready to run the abandoned chapel. As to the abandoned chapel, give the scenario some more interactivity. Put another suicide-vest wearing ex-mental patient (that's how you Renfield) as a door guard. Do they think Ruthven is immortal and invincible? Have them say that to the PCs. Allow the PCs to unblock another entrance that bypasses the first floor. Let the PCs try to talk Ruthven off the ledge (a DV 19 check using Human Perception, Education, or Persuasion might pause the action as Ruthven tries to fight his warped perceptions). Put down land mines the PCs have to avoid on the first floor, or trip wires that release bio-toxin coated bats or something. Have fun with it! Conclusion: Opera is, as I said in the intro, a bit of an odd duck. It's an investigation scenario with no investigation, features some really cool bad guys with zero thematic support for them, and never cleanly delivers the villain's motivation in any way, despite having a really cool villain! The adventure is hamstrung by a clearly railroaded plot-based structure that leaves a GM with little discretion they can exercise when things start to go pear-shaped. It also has interesting characters, interesting set pieces, and a really nasty humdinger of a climax. All that's missing is Van Helsing, but that's where your PCs come in, I'd wager. Overall, this is salvageable if you yank out the railroading. 6/10, or 8/10 if you really take your time with the material. Not quite DIY - although the cost we’ve received it might mean that we do do it ourselves - but we had a blocked sewer drain on Monday that we had a drain company come and unblock. They stuck cctv down there and it’s tree roots that caused it. They said they could cut the tree roots but would recommend replacing that portion of drain (max 2m) and they’d do that for $6k. The drain is only ours, is 100mm pvc, less than 500mm below ground and not under our house. Is that a reasonable price? We can’t figure out how it should cost that much and the company hasn’t come back to us with a breakdown?
Unfortunately they also haven’t given us the cctv imagery (we’ve asked for it along with the invoice) so we can’t get anyone else to quote without also paying them for cctv.

Ive just seen a tiktok of a guy having sex on the boardwalk with what looks like a completely unconscious person. They are not moving at all and their clothes are still on. The video isn't mine, but is it possible to report it to the Garda? I know tiktok has left up videos I've reported before of other illegal material, so is it possible to show it to the Garda? I will add I'm actually in covid isolation now so I won't be able to drop down to a station

Obviously ignoring me kasi gustong manlamang sa customer (2nd to 6th pic). I contacted a Shopee CS and got refunded the next day kahit hindi pa rin nagrereply ang seller (7th pic). So I moved on with my life and decided not to give them a rating anyway kasi settled na nga yung refund. That's a mistake on my part, dapat pala ni-rate ko para malaman ng potential buyers nila kung ano ang attitude ng seller na to. I told them that I'll escalate it to DTI pero wala pa rin talagang reply. I know my customer rights kaya malakas ang loob kong ipaglaban yung refund. It wasn't even a threat kasi nasa tama naman ako. Hi again champions. Thank you all for your DMs and comments asking for an update. Sorry to tell you depression has kicked in. Let me walk you through. Several things have happened in the last months. But today February 17th my divorce is complete. I am a single man again.

I spoke to my attorney, he mentioned Birdbrain’s sue proceeded and that reminded me I wanted to have a chat with Frank. Long story short, I met Frank and he told me Birdbrain was fired the same Monday I met him. And yes, he was living illegally at Frank’s father’s house. Since Birdbrain was his employee for years, Frank made a civic sue for tresspassing, meaning he can’t be near Frank or any of his properties for the next 5 years. If he does the cops will be involved. I asked if Jane would be sued too, but he said Birdbrain confessed she was unaware of all the situation and that she just went to the house to excercie with his guidance (they used the repaired equipment to exercise). Besides Frank assumed Jane and I were still together and he felt he owed me that. Frank is very cordial and friendly, he was cheated on in his youth so he has zero tolerance on the topic. He gave me something. He said “You’re gonna love this.” He showed me his phone, it was a soundless video from one of his cctv cameras. It took me a minute to recognize it was showing the gym’s cafetería. All tables are empty but one, there is a man sitting with his back to the camera, then a huge muscular back appears and I recognize Hairy walking towards the man. I ask “Is that ….?” Frank nods and I continue watching. Hairy puts his hand on Birdbrain’s shoulder, then Birdbrain covers his face with his hands. The video ends when they are out of the screen. We both laughed. I said I’m gonna put this video as my screensaver. It was taken the day before Birdbrain was fired.
I’ve gone to my first session with the psychiatrist. He said I have signs of depression due to my anxiety combined with my insecurities, so he prescribed a soft antidepressant pill daily until next session. At the time I didn’t feel any different. Also I started taking kick-boxing lessons. My coach told me I have good reflexes but I have a long way to go.
Jane took all her stuff from the condo. She also took our marriage big picture. My brother’s friend gave me a good idea. I’ll sacrifice the livingroom to make another bedroom and make the diningroom and kitchen a common area. So it will have 3 bedrooms. I hired a guy to take care of it.

My attorney said that’s fine if it is listed for the record which her attorney reluctantly agreed. Then they proceed to split our assets wich was pretty fast because I don’t want anything and Jane said she has taken everything she treasures. Besides, we didn’t have expensive stuff. Finally her attorney asked for 5 sessions of Marriage Counseling and added if I agree and attend with an open mind and honesty, his client guarantees a smooth divorce. My attorney reduced them to 3 and NC between sessions. I made a worry fase to my attorney and he kicked my foot under the table, meaning to play along. I saw Jane and she was making a face I’ve seen when she really really wants me to do something so I made my face of “OK, you win.” And she smiled (Marriage language again).
Later I asked my attorney if MC is necesary, he said it is. Because the judge who will be assigned to our case may agree with Jane since she’s making the attempt of reconcile while I am not. Or the judge may agree with me and ignore it. So attending to MC is a necessary risk. I said she was the one who cheated, he told me I’ve already asked for a compensation and the judge will overlook her adultery. The judge has the power to divorce us right there or he/she may order more Counseling and/or a period for reconciliation. It’s like flipping a coin.
Moving on to mid October we attended to the first session. We sat on big sofas one in front of the other and in the middle the counselor (Let’s call her Dolores.) After hearing all the background and the main point of our divorce, she asked both of us what we expect. I said I just want to be amicable but still want to divorce, and Jane said she wants to reconcile. She asked for Jane’s opinion about my goal and she said she doesn’t want to divorce, she has never stopped loving me. I was about to argue but the counselor asked me to not interrupt. Then she asked me about Jane’s goal I said I don’t think we can reconcile because I don’t trust her anymore and I think she’s in love with AP. This time Jane wanted to say something but the counselor asked Jane to not interrupt. Then asked me why I think that. I mentioned the gaslighting, how she was gigling the day before D-Day and how eager she was to get rid of me on D-day. It was Jane’s turn to talk, she swears she does not love Birdbrain, she has never told him “I love you” because she doesn’t. She barely spoke to him during the day even though he was constantly sending messages to her. She assures me she doesn’t know important stuff like his b-day, but she confessed she liked the thrill, the secrecy, the staring from other people. She wanted to show me from her phone she wasn’t talking to Birdbrain that night. I said her phone is useless, because she used to delete convesations. Dolores mentioned there are apps that can recover deleted messages. I said “Oh yeah?” But Jane was silent and I could see she was thinking very fast. Dolores and I stared at her and she was making nervious movements I said “Will you give me your pone?” Jane looked like she wanted to argue but kept silent. I said “You are still in contact with him, aren’t you?” Jane almost screamed “No! I swear! But…” She was hesitant about giving me her pone and finally she gave it to me and said “Please, remember the Jane who texted is not me anymore.” I said “What does that mean?” “I beg you, don’t make me say it. I was in ‘the fog’.” I asked Dolores about this “affair fog” She told me from her experience it looks like the judgmenet is clouded by the exitement and focus on a new relationship, so the subject’s mind can’t comprehend or just ignores the consecuences of their actions. It varies a lot from person to person. Jane told me “OP, I’m deeply sorry for all I texted to ‘him’. Now I can’t understand why I was so disrespectful to you.” At that moment I wasn’t sure I’d want to know what she meat, if she trashed me like birdbrain did, It would be a massive blow to me, I confided her EVERYTHING about me.
Next Dolores asked me what it takes for me to reconcile. I told her there are two mayor obstacles I don’t see how to overcome. No. 1 she lied for a long time and I can’t trust her anymore. Also, as Jane said, Birdbrain used to mock me, he called me Fatty, Pathetic loser and little girl. Whenever he mentions me Jane just said “I don’t want to talk about my husband” In the most recent messages I can tell whenever she didn’t play along Birbrain got angry and he told her he was on his way to my job to tell me everything while she begged not to. Obviously it was just a bluff he doesn’t know where I work. I looked for the messages at d-day minus one and she didn’t texted him. No call records either. I snooped some more and saw she was messaging to a chat group with Flirty and two other girls that night. They are hilarious. Some of their comments made me chuckle. At D-day + 1 Jane was kicked out of the group.

I’d never Heard her cursing before so it made me laugh and I said “I love you” for the first time. Jane took longer but she says it was in a trip we both took. Hi again champions. Thank you all for your DMs and comments asking for an update. Sorry to tell you depression has kicked in. Let me walk you through. Several things have happened in the last months. But today February 17th my divorce is complete. I am a single man again.

Long story short, I met Frank and he told me Birdbrain was fired the same Monday I met him. And yes, he was living illegally at Frank’s father’s house. Since Birdbrain was his employee for years, Frank made a civic sue for tresspassing, meaning he can’t be near Frank or any of his properties for the next 5 years. If he does the cops will be involved. I asked if Jane would be sued too, but he said Birdbrain confessed she was unaware of all the situation and that she just went to the house to excercie with his guidance (they used the repaired equipment to exercise). Besides Frank assumed Jane and I were still together and he felt he owed me that. Frank is very cordial and friendly, he was cheated on in his youth so he has zero tolerance on the topic. He gave me something. He said “You’re gonna love this.” He showed me his phone, it was a soundless video from one of his cctv cameras. It took me a minute to recognize it was showing the gym’s cafetería. All tables are empty but one, there is a man sitting with his back to the camera, then a huge muscular back appears and I recognize Hairy walking towards the man. I ask “Is that ….?” Frank nods and I continue watching. Hairy puts his hand on Birdbrain’s shoulder, then Birdbrain covers his face with his hands. I can tell they are chatting and finally both men walk towards the camera and Birdbrain’s face can be seen clearly for a few seconds. Sad expresión, red eyes and tears on his cheeks. The video ends when they are out of the screen. We both laughed. I said I’m gonna put this video as my screensaver. It was taken the day before Birdbrain was fired.
I’ve gone to my first session with the psychiatrist. He said I have signs of depression due to my anxiety combined with my insecurities, so he prescribed a soft antidepressant pill daily until next session. At the time I didn’t feel any different. Also I started taking kick-boxing lessons. My coach told me I have good reflexes but I have a long way to go.
Jane took all her stuff from the condo. She also took our marriage big picture. My brother’s friend gave me a good idea. I’ll sacrifice the livingroom to make another bedroom and make the diningroom and kitchen a common area. So it will have 3 bedrooms. I hired a guy to take care of it.
My attorney informed me Jane has her own attorney and he requested a meeting. I asked what I have to do and he told me to play along, he’ll do all the talking I just have to agree. Unless my lawyer thinks they make an unreasonable request, he’ll ask for a time out to discuss it.

Finally her attorney asked for 5 sessions of Marriage Counseling and added if I agree and attend with an open mind and honesty, his client guarantees a smooth divorce. My attorney reduced them to 3 and NC between sessions. I made a worry fase to my attorney and he kicked my foot under the table, meaning to play along. I saw Jane and she was making a face I’ve seen when she really really wants me to do something so I made my face of “OK, you win.” And she smiled (Marriage language again).
Later I asked my attorney if MC is necesary, he said it is. Because the judge who will be assigned to our case may agree with Jane since she’s making the attempt of reconcile while I am not. Or the judge may agree with me and ignore it. So attending to MC is a necessary risk. I said she was the one who cheated, he told me I’ve already asked for a compensation and the judge will overlook her adultery. The judge has the power to divorce us right there or he/she may order more Counseling and/or a period for reconciliation. It’s like flipping a coin.
Moving on to mid October we attended to the first session. We sat on big sofas one in front of the other and in the middle the counselor (Let’s call her Dolores.) After hearing all the background and the main point of our divorce, she asked both of us what we expect. I said I just want to be amicable but still want to divorce, and Jane said she wants to reconcile. She asked for Jane’s opinion about my goal and she said she doesn’t want to divorce, she has never stopped loving me. I was about to argue but the counselor asked me to not interrupt. Then she asked me about Jane’s goal I said I don’t think we can reconcile because I don’t trust her anymore and I think she’s in love with AP. This time Jane wanted to say something but the counselor asked Jane to not interrupt. Then asked me why I think that. I mentioned the gaslighting, how she was gigling the day before D-Day and how eager she was to get rid of me on D-day. It was Jane’s turn to talk, she swears she does not love Birdbrain, she has never told him “I love you” because she doesn’t. She barely spoke to him during the day even though he was constantly sending messages to her. Now I can’t understand why I was so disrespectful to you.” At that moment I wasn’t sure I’d want to know what she meat, if she trashed me like birdbrain did, It would be a massive blow to me, I confided her EVERYTHING about me.
