2024.05.21 17:24 TypeAtryingtoB Overthinking placement months after first tattoo and now future tattoos in general.

Overthinking placement months after first tattoo and now future tattoos in general.
Firstly, I prefer myself with these tattoos than not and they both have meaning to me. The pumpkin for fall and Halloween being times I have the only pleasant nostalgia from as a child with trauma and my son being conceived in October + the blue bird represents my son. The Charles Darwin think" branch represents me as a scientist and what soraked my love for science. want to get another tattoo for our second yet to exist child and that's when I started overthinking and analyzing my placement.
I notice the space in my inner arm where everything could have been placed just about 1 or 2 cm over to the right (more towards my armpit) and then the pumpkin wouldn't awkwardly peep out onto my outer bicep and be even more subtle and inconspicuous in placement, BUT then it would be very hidden and really hard to see at all, unless my arms are held just right or something. I thought this was a good happy medium? really want to be able to see my tattoos at this point in my life because they bring me joy. I thought about these designs for years and the locations. I'm a 31 F.
These were my very first tattoos and got them together. love the Darwin placement, although now I'm like maybe it could have been smaller, and the pumpkin bird one didn't study how it looked when my arms were by my side so much with only the outline. thought it was placed pretty far inwards guess wouldn't to be able to see it a bit? had him replace it twice and then It got harder to see well because the sketch ink was everywhere. should ask or specify what dimension next time and draw on myself with washable marker at home constantly until am happy with my placement before going. did imaginary placements at home, but in the end, here am not happy with it entirely months later.
l just feel like hindsight is 2020 unfortunately and there are things I didn't realize or think about, like future tattoo additions. I did not realize how attracted I would be to getting more. I thought I was probably only going to get one more tattoo and now I'm just dreaming up so many. Thank god I have some rationality to my impulsivity.
I had thought about these ideas for years, but when I finally decided to make the leap to finally get them, I feel guilty that maybe my excitement lead into a bit of impulsively and not throughout thinking through EVERY aspect of the tattoo.
Not looking for ridicule or shame. A bit of a perfectionist here and looking for validation. In the end, I tell myself that do love my tattoo. am glad can see it and the tattoos themselves have their initial meaning and the meaning of nothing can be perfect and that you love and you learn, so to speak.
I want my next tattoo to be more out next child. The blue bird on the first tattoo represents my first baby and feel that the next tattoo has to be equal in size and be visible to me because want my children to be equally loved in life and depicted on my arm . My husband thinks I'm ridiculous, but feel like ingest that subsequent children get jipped so often and atleast don't want to do that to him / her with my tattoos. doubt they may ever be like "well why does he have a bigger tattoo than I do? You can't even see the tattoo you got for me." Ect.
Anyone else have similar thoughts for their children tattoos?

2024.05.21 17:21 GamerGriffin548 Mech Discussion - The Cataphract

Mech Discussion - The Cataphract
So, after riding the highpoint that was the simple, yet lovely designed Catapult last week, we now have the complex, yet experimental design that is the Cataphract.
Cataphract is a word to describe a soldier that is wearing a full suit of armor. So it's name is very fitting to a 70-tonner that is meant for pure combat. Yet the Cataphract was more envisioned to be the next evolution of frontline battlemechs (until Davion curbstomped it) by incorporating top-of-the-line electronic warfare systems, much like it's brethren, the Raven.
The Cataphract, alongside the Raven, is one of those few "new" mech designs of the 31st century. I learn very hard on the word 'new' as the Cataphract is what the Capellans are good at doing: Fucking things up. Underneath the Cataphract's skin is the trapped souls of a Marauder, a Shadow Hawk, and a Pheonix Hawk. Yes, the Cataphract is a FrankenMech, and the Capellans are mad scientists. Well... mad engineers, more like.
So how does it perform in MW5?
To me, its... um... fine. I guess. Like it does what it needs to for a heavy mech, but... it just lacks real a shock factor. It looks good, very robotic looking and such. So it's got style points. :3
There is lots of models to choose from too. So you get a pick of the litter if you want a Cataphract.
The 0X and 0XP are your baseline Cataphracts. Carrying your EW packages with decent weaponry like a large energy weapon, two medium energy weapons, and a medium ballistic slot.
The 1X strips out the electronic warfare systems for more energy hardpoints in the torsos.
The 2P are of course your melee type. It's just a 1X with a large melee weapon.
The 2X spices up the 1X by replacing the medium energy slot for a small missile slot.
The 4X is a bit different. Downsizing the engine by near half, putting two medium ballistic slots in the arms, a large energy slot where most the engine was, and even a small missile slot snuggling up next to the cockpit. This thing might not go fast but with a endo steel chassis to boot you have lots of room to play with it. My preferred model.
The newest addition from Solaris Showdown is the VE1. Hulking around with three medium ballistic slots and two medium energy slots can lay the hurt on anybody in front of you. It's really the cousin to the hero variant.
The IM (Ilya Muromets) is what the VE1 ripped off of. Practically the same as as the VE1, save for a small energy slot and a upgrade slot. Tattered in Star League star symbols and even having lore for its proud Capellan pilot, Grigori Kovalenko, who used this Cataphract to hunt down any other Cataphract in non-Capellan aligned hands. The short story is on the Sarna Wiki if you're interested.
Hero Rating: B-
The Cataphract to me is a nice gesture of trying to evolve the heavy mech gameplay by incorporating EW modifiers. But as a MW aligned Battletech enthusiasts, the game really doesn't make me care too much about it.
I'd like to know, if in strategy, the Cataphract pulls it's weight on the TT or BT2018.
(Tips for players who are unaware: You can toggle your ECMs to disrupt mode to keep missile boats from laying into you too much.)
I also just dislike the feel of the Cataphract's weapon layout. Most of the models keep their weapons in the arms with one spare in the torso, for when you eventually loose an arm. It's not bad, but you need to balance it very carefully.
Sorry for how long it took for me to come back. Had some pretty hard days recently. Trying my best to keep going and keep posting. Yesterday was to Remembrance of Tukayyid in the Battletech universe which reminded me that MW5C will come out this year. This game series really helps me get by and these posts have given me the discipline to keep me focused.
Next time - The humble and well distinguished Blackjack.

2024.05.21 16:55 Cultural_Name4608 Ulthwe-Ynnari List

Rate my list: I was thinking about taking this to a local tournament as a competitive list and wondered how the local community felt like it would do?
The idea is to have Eldrad + the two FarseeWarlock Conclaves in a Wave Serpent wreak havoc on a side objective while the wraithblades move into the middle, bikes are there for speedy secondaries and shadow specter-like shooting. Walkers using their scout move can move into position and hurt/kill a key heavy thing early while guardians and storm guardians bring up the rear making everything sticky so the force can move from one objective to the other.

2024.05.21 16:13 estropiizp [Misc] I can now count with one hand how many pimples I have!

I know that dealing with acne is not an easy trip because I've had it for around eighteen years. I've heard a lot of unpleasant and nasty remarks about my features growing up. I've received "gifts" and unwanted suggestions to repair my face. Even yet, they happen far less frequently now that I can finally count fewer than ten pimples on my face! Until recently, I was very certain that I would pass away from old age and that my face wouldn't even show through the coffin. Up until the last two months, I've been so terrified to properly look in the mirror because I've internalised so many nasty remarks. My modifications include: - I've moved to almond milk; - I cover my pillowcase with a t-shirt every day. - After washing my face, pat dry with a clean paper towel. Don't dry your face with towels anymore. - I discovered that eating extremely spicy food can cause breakouts on my skin. - If I wash my hair, I save the face cleanser for last in the shower to remove the chemicals and oils from my hair products. - less picky about my face. - hand washing before making facial contact.
AM - AprilSkin Calendula face wash/organic black soap - If skin is too dry that morning, I use the fresh hydrating cleanser. - Pixi Tonic - collagen - AprilSkin Carrot serum (might skip if skin is oily that morning) - AprilSkin Carrot Cream - No sunscreen since I'm working remotely
PM - AprilSkin Calendula face wash/fresh hydrating cleansecerave hydrating cleanser - depending on how my skin feels that night - fresh rose toner - fresh deep hydration cream (when my face is dry) or AprilSkin Carrot cream, sometimes tret fromhighstreetpharma
Other stuff that I used inconsistently during this time: - Innisfree volcanic clay mask - when my skin is particularly oily - glytone - when I have a lot of active breakouts - Epi Duo - when I have a lot of active breakouts - AprilSkin Calendula Peel off mask - AprilSkin Calendula sheet mask - fresh rose hydration mask - Neutrogena exfoliating cleanser - Andalou glycolic pumpkin mask - Minty toothpaste to apply topically for angry pimples
Next on list to try - Differin gel - Pixi Tonic - retinol - Pixi Tonic - Glow - maybe Medicube's red line but reviews make the products sound like they're harsher on the skin
It was a big lesson to learn how to balance between the harsher but more effective solutions without drying out my sensitive, acne-prone skin. Glytone and epiduo are excellent for recent breakouts, however I was never able to use them more than twice a week. My preference would be for the fresh cleanser at night because the calendula cleanser is less moisturising than the organic black soap, especially if I used it in the morning. For the same reason, I wouldn't mix glytone and black soap in one day. I would rather be too hydrated than too dry.

2024.05.21 15:18 Diligent-Plantain-92 I don’t know what to do anymore.

I’ve had candida for two years (was overprescribed antibiotics after getting strep throat, then got a yeast infection afterwards which I took OTC suppositories for, a couple months later is when my symtoms started) and was just finally diagnosed this February after thorough testing by a naturopathic doctor. She had me start taking supplements and I’ve changed my diet but it’s been such a struggle that I feel like I’m doing something wrong and making it worse for myself.
The supplements my doctor has me on are grapefruit seed extract, ADP oregano oil, mastica gum, iodine, vitamin C, vitamin D and a B12 spray. First she told me to take the grapefruit extract, oregano oil and mastica with each meal 3 times per day which initially caused severe die-off and made me feel so awful I was bedridden for two months except for when I had to go to work. When I explained this to her she told me to reduce to one time per day and use a castor oil pack, sauna, and epsom salt baths to support my liver and sweat things out. I mostly used castor oil since my bathtub is uncomfortable and I don’t have access to a sauna.
I’ve only been doing the 3 supplements one time per day for a month and a half now and I have had good and bad days. I’m also just unsure of what to eat anymore at this point. I haven’t had dairy, gluten or sugar in months. I’m scared to eat othet grains like quinoa/teff/millet that are considered “safe” because I don’t know how my body will react or if it will feed the candida at all. Most of what I eat consists of organic chicken, free range organic eggs, salmon (when I can find it), sometimes I would have grass-fed ground beef but haven’t had any for a while out of fear that it may cause issues for me, veggies such as broccoli, cauliflower, spinach, kale, collared greens, avocado, cucumber, zucchini, brussel sprouts and asparagus. Sometimes I will roast my own pumpkin seeds or almonds with olive oil and salt but I developed a bad habit of snacking on them too much so I try to avoid them now.
I have a fast metabolism but I’ve gotten so thin and I haven’t had my period for two months. It’s freaking me out and I am terrified. I’m going in for follow-up tests tomorrow and then a follow-up appt in a couple weeks so my doctor can see where I’m at. I just wish I had a proper guide for all of this… I don’t want to give up but I feel so defeated every day. Stress has not been helping either and I’m extremely aware of that, but it’s such a struggle to manage it when this has consumed my life.
If anyone has any thoughts or advice I would greatly appreciate it. Maybe I need something for liver support? Or something else to break the biofilms and move things out of my body more smoothly? Please let me know. I want to heal like everyone else.

2024.05.21 15:10 Repressed_Cliche A few food substitutions ideas

DISCLAIMER: I am aware that many people will not be able to benefit from these, everyone’s safe foods and symptoms are different, some diets are extremely restrictive, some people are highly reactive, etc. Compared to some stories on this sub my MCAS is pretty mild.
That said, I was talking with a friend recently about what I cook for myself and I thought I might share a few of the subs I’ve used in the past for various off-limits ingredients.
  1. I can’t have whole grain corn, and corn floumasa especially makes me very sick. Flour tortillas are great, and also for tortilla chips this may sound weird but the plain baked Ritz crackers are actually great for eating salsa. They’re crunchy enough to give the same sensation of eating corn chips. Dip them in just about anything.
  2. I can’t have rice, which to be honest is hard to work around and I really miss it. However, for many dishes that use rice, I find that plain couscous is a great sub. For “fried rice”, for example, cooking the couscous in chicken or beef stock with some light seasoning can give it that same savory rich flavor that fried rice often does without using things like sesame oil, which is another no for me.
  3. Another rice sub is orzo, though it absorbs a lot of moisture so it’s better with things that have a sauce component, and not as good for things like gumbo, where it may become very soggy.
  4. Nutella and peanut butter. While I can handle a small amount (like a handful or so) of tree nuts/peanuts, I avoid them for the most part. Ground nut products like peanut butter make me react very badly though to be fair that may be because of cross contamination (iykyk). I’ve had good success with sunflower seed butter, though I admit peanut butter tastes way better. Bizarrely, some brands have chocolate sunflower seed butter and while it is slightly chocolatey, I find it tastes more like regular peanut butter. I have no idea how that works!
  5. Although I can and do eat/drink regular dairy products all the time, I’ve also found unsweetened oat milk to be a good alternative if you can’t have cows milk.
  6. Soy is in everything these days, and while I can actually consume some super refined soy products like soy sauce or soy lecithin, many other things are off the table. Thankfully, many brands are starting to use sunflower or safflower instead of soy products! I’ve noticed this in Aldi especially but there are a lot of products even just over the last year or so that used soy and now use sunflower. Also, if you’re into vegan things, Impossible brand has soy protein, but Beyond uses pea protein and the times I’ve had it I’ve had zero bad effects. I’m not a vegan, but eating with vegan friends, I’ve become quite fond of the beyond beef flavor and will occasionally cook it for myself.
  7. Actually, if you’re allergic to any animal products, check out vegan cookbooks and recipes etc. In baking, for instance, if you need an egg substitute, my personal favorite is pumpkin purée.
  8. I can’t have shellfish, which isn’t easily replaced, but I will say that if you like scallops, sliced and sautéed king trumpet mushroom stems are shockingly similar in pasta and take on spices and flavor not unlike seafood.
My phone is freezing up from typing all this but hopefully these ideas help someone out there!

SEO Beyond YouTube: Boosting Web Page Rankings

The Power of CTR Clicks and Engagement Signals

Practical Steps to Optimize Your YouTube SEO

Post Body:
Optimizing your YouTube titles might seem like basic advice, but the reality is that a well-crafted title is your first step towards ranking success. Demonstrations have shown that tweaking your video titles can significantly impact their visibility and searchability (embed a clip here showcasing the title change impact).
When it comes to advanced YouTube SEO, the Rank Attack SEO System introduces a nuanced approach. It’s not just about hitting the right keywords but also about engaging with tools like the first CTR manipulation tool introduced in 2014, evolving into what we now know as SerpAttack (embed video clip of the Rank Attack SEO system explanation).
AI has fundamentally changed the marketing landscape, offering tools that can think, analyze, and optimize faster than ever before. Incorporating AI into your strategy means staying ahead of trends and being able to predict audience behaviors in ways that were previously impossible.
But YouTube SEO isn’t just about dominating YouTube search results. It’s also about leveraging YouTube success to boost your website's Google rankings. This interconnected strategy ensures that success in one area can lead to gains across the board, a concept that has been largely overlooked.
CTR clicks and engagement signals play a pivotal role in how content is ranked. Unlike passive views, CTR clicks show active audience engagement, which both YouTube and Google’s algorithms favor. Encouraging viewers to interact, from leaving comments to sharing links, enhances these signals (Show a short clip demonstrating how CTR improvement affects rankings).
Finally, taking actionable steps towards optimizing your content involves a detailed analysis of your current strategy, identifying areas of improvement, and applying tools like Re-Optimizer to make meaningful changes. With tools like SerpAttack, you can kickstart your journey towards improved visibility and engagement, ensuring that your content reaches its intended audience.

2024.05.21 03:22 CramblinDuvetAdv Your Way-Too-Early 2025 Headliner Pool

Yeah, it's too early for this but I feel like fantasy booking some more. We don't know who will already be on tour, who will already play in the Daytona/Orlando area, who may be recording, etc. but that's not gonna stop me from compiling a list. I think I did pretty good with my 2024 guesses, so here's an anticipated pool of who I think they will reach out to. For the term "headliner," I'm considering the top 2-3 bands on the Apex/Octane drift stages.
Who else do you think may be in the pool?

2024.05.21 03:21 Senior-Judgment3703 Social media then vs now

I have some insecurities over the fact that my husband doesn’t post anything about ours baby to social media. With SD6 he had a whole instagram page for her. He would post almost daily and would follow her around with a camera posting stories multiple times per day. There were videos of him and BM and SD going to playgrounds, beaches, pumpkin picking, parties, weddings, and indoor play spaces plus pictures of SD and BM with captions like “I love my mama”
Fast forward to now. There is only one photo of OB that he posted on his instagram it’s in his highlighted stories. He takes pics of her here and there but rarely photos of me with her and even more rare are selfies with the 3 of us. Most my photos I have with my baby are because my older daughter takes them unprompted because she knows how I mourn the fact that there are so few pictures with me in them from when she was little so she goes the extra mile. Another issue is we don’t do anything. He works constantly and I am always alone with the baby (or the baby and all the kids). He has only ever gone to the park or story time with us once. We have never had a vacation not even a weekend away locally. He didn’t take a pic of me with the baby or kids for Mother’s Day (he did get me a bracelet but again he was away all day for work.)
It’s hard to feel like he is excited about our family or this baby when the difference is so striking. I get embarrassed sometimes thinking how it looks to people on the outside like his family and friends who see that he doesn’t post anything about me or OB. Even his best friend didn’t even know we were pregnant or that OB existed until she was 3 months old. It really hurts my feelings and makes me think he favors his first family and that he was so proud to be a dad and celebrate all the firsts with his first child but now it’s old news and me and OB get the short end of the stick.

I'm looking for a serious relationship.
I love lifting weights and spending time outside. I go mountain biking a lot, and I'm looking to go sailing this summer. Let's lift weights and go biking and watch the stars together.
I've played music all my life. I've played piano for 24 years, and guitar for at least 10. If you play a musical instrument and are interested in playing music with me, that'd be super neat. I enjoy most every musical genre.
I like to cook and bake. I started making homemade apple cinnamon bagels today. Still trying to figure out how to make pumpkin bagels. I'd like to meet someone who also really enjoyed cooking, and maybe we can make some delicious things together. It's a lot easier to feel ambitious cooking when cooking with/for someone else. What's your favorite food to make?
I work in tech in software development and infrastructure. I've been trying to take advantage of every training opportunity for machine learning my company has provided, because that's also super neat. If you work in tech, I'd love to code with you.

The Westbrook section is about drama also from way back when and includes a guy named Friedel or whatever who went after Ethel in some way which Westbrook defended or excused. Ethel claims that next they could be going after someone without her support structure and that person could then take their own life. She loves painting herself as a hero. And the issue with Rachel here is that she accused Ethel of weaponizing self-harm. Somehow this means she's defending Westbrook and "by extension, Friedel", as if she's supposed to be hyper-aware of any association anyone she herself is associated with has. And of course Rachel had the gall to link to Westbrook in the description of a video. In 2019.
Rose of Dawn was back in 2019 making videos and being openly a transmedicalist and opposed to non-binary people. That deserves to be called out (I looked and she doesn't seem to have uploaded on YouTube for about two years so I don't know if her views might have changed). The association with Rachel is that back when Ethel and Rachel were clashing in 2019, Rose of Dawn was one of several people (many of them trans) who called Ethel out for going too far after Rachel posted a video where she had self-harmed and begged Ethel to leave her alone (she took that video down quickly). Ethel calls Rose of Dawn a "token trans person" who rushed to Rachel's side, which yes, Rose, did, because she saw a non-binary trans person acting like an asshole and probably figured she could get views out of it by criticizing Ethel's actions. Rachel and Rose had drinks once and Rachel recommended people check Rose's content out in a video from February 2020, which wasn't even a year after the big blow-up. People pointed out the issues with Rose's content to Rachel at the time and she pinned a comment on that video that she regretted including Rose after learning more. Ethel's avatar smirks smugly when she points out of Rachel said that she doesn't want to "accidentally" promote transphobia. Ethel decides that Rachel must have known that Rose was a bigot yet "chose to lie".
Yes, we're still talking about events from 2020. We've moved on half a year in the timeline and Ethel's still talking as if this is up-to-date drama. Has no one changed her wall calendar for four years? Rose of Dawn isn't even making videos anymore.
There's a screenshot of Rachel saying (supposedly in 2022) that she used to like Blaire White's personality but doesn't agree with her views or politics, to compare it to the Rose situation. Ethel defines Blaire's personality as "terrorizing trans people", so that must mean Rachel agrees with that.
We go back to the Rose of Dawn thing when Rachel said she regretted promoting Rose's content, and Ethel continues to act as if this is current happenings. Then Ethel shows screenshots of Twitter posts where people were talking to Rachel about Rose's harmful views in December 2019. So about two or three months away from the recommendation video. Blahblah, "Rachel Oates only retracted when her brand was threatened which is all she cares about", then we go to a Christmas livestream from 2023 where the transphobia from the BBC was mentioned and Rachel didn't react strongly enough. "Doesn't surprise me at this point, it's not great, is it?" And then apparently Rachel must be lying about not having read the articles on BBC transphobia. We switch to Ethel complaining about copyright complaints Rachel files against EoT videos because in a video Ethel made about Lily Cade, Rose of Dawn and Rachel Oates there was discussion of a transphobic BBC article, and since Rachel filed a legal complaint she apparently "felt familiar enough" with the video so she must absolutely be aware of the BBC. The BBC article mentioned in the video was from 2021 or thereabouts, the livestream from 2023. And then Ethel has a screenshot of a community post Rachel made where the timestamp says "1 minute ago", but sure, you're not obsessed at all.
"Oates not only knows of, but is, in my mind, complicit in helping the BBC bury the fact that they promoted a self-confessed serial rapist by having our video blocked in the UK, the very same UK where the BBC operates. Oates not only knows about the BBC's violence against trans people - she, in my mind, has made herself a part of that very violence", and then Ethel talks about seeing similarities between Rachel and people who defend their friends who are rapists.
Sarah Michel is another trans person Ethel calls a "token trans person", this one apparently belongs to Rationality Rules the way Ethel talks about her. Screenshot of a video by Sarah from 2019 where she's against hate speech laws. A definition of hate speech, and then "This tells you anything you need to know about Michel before we get to anything in 2019". Sarah Michel and Noel Plum tweeted at each other to insult Ethel, and Rachel had the gall to thank Sarah Michel in the same video description she thanked the other mentioned people, because surely she must have seen that twitter thread.
Noel Plum asserted that Ethel doesn't experience discrimination and Ethel talks about some of her experiences and how changing her gender marker could impact her spousal visa and marriage. Those experiences are harrowing and of course she shouldn't have to experience any of it. But this is in response to Noel Plum's words back in 2019. Of course, Rachel mentioned him in that video description, "endearing herself to him", because he had defended her against Ethel's abuse back then. Then there's screenshots of Noel's transphobia from 2022. Apparently no one who was a genuine ally would not have noticed that he was a transphobe. Noel criticized Ethel last year for the series all about Rachel, so we're at least getting to something that's less than 4 years old. But nothing that links Noel and Rachel interacting since 2019.
Nervardia gets a short-notice section because Ethel's seen her Reddit posts. Ethel plays a piece of a Nervardia video which seems to also be from 2019 so Nervardia mentions both names Ethel was going by at the time. Nervardia's pretty harsh but it seems to me to be due to outrage at Ethel's actions specifically relating to Rachel's self-harm. Nervardia apparently agreed with hateful thoughts someone expressed against Ethel in 2019 that wished harm on Ethel. And now we finally get an up-to-date link of Rachel and Nervardia, from earlier this year where Rachel thanked her for a piece of jewelry. But the harm-wishing was still from 2019.
The issue with Telltale begins with... Telltale attempting to blacklist Ethel from the secular community. This is STILL about 2019! Telltale had an issue with someone recommending EoT as a channel and that MUST be because she's trans... not because she's an asshole. And of course, Rachel thanked Telltale in the same video description as the others. Another Twitter thread by Telltale that's evidence, again from 2019. Somethingsomething, a drama around yet another person who did a video being a homophobic christian who Telltale is or appears supportive of? Aaaand nothing that links Rachel and Telltale nowadays. Are they even friends at this point? I honestly don't know.
King Crocoduck was a transphobe who went on a tirade about it in 2019, And Ethel goes "I find it pretty reasonable to conclude that Rachel Oates knew about the issue, at least to some degree". Evidence? Zilch. And of course Rachel mentioned this person in the video description in 2019. "It is my opinion that they [Crocoduck and Rachel] helped [abusive father of a trans child] expand his reach beyond religious circles". Evidence of further association between Rachel and Crocoduck? Nada.
And we come to Jimmy. And yes, this is about 2019 and secular community drama, again. Jimmy did a four video series on EoT after Rachel's breakdown. Jimmy did a pumkin saga thing where he kind of made pumpkins a symbol for LGBTQ+ rights? Ish? He hyped it up as pretty important but of course it was mostly a bit silly. And then it's sexual violence because a bigoted pastor called Jimmy "Mr Pumpkin", Jimmy and his audience made it a meme and Jimmy joked that the pastor was attracted to pumpkins and apparently made a website with art of the pastor and pumpkins to send it to that pastor. Which, yes, shitty. But it culminates in Ethel saying that the atheist community demanded that she, a CSA survivor (which yes she points out), should be more like Jimmy. Has a bad taste in hindsight especially, given what we know about Jimmy's habit of using his audience as a dating app. But apparently Rachel is partly at fault and enabled Jimmy to get to that point. And yes, of course Jimmy was in that video description.
"Only when [Rachel and Jimmy's] brands clashed over the Gabbie Hanna situation, only when there was money at stake, did she finally take a stand" I SWEAR TO GOD YOU MORON, that wasn't "brands" clashing, that was two friends falling out. And AFTER that, the truth about Jimmy came out, which no one had known before, certainly not Rachel. But to Ethel's mind, he'd done it "with her blessing". "I feel more remorse about failing to act than Oates does".
90% of this is about things that happened in 2019. As far as I know, only one of the people Ethel talked about is even still friends with Rachel. Yet, Ethel calls this "a pattern of behaviour". In 2019 maybe. We're not in 2019.
Ethel alleges that Rachel only cares about her brand and would sell her audience in a heartbeat, which experience by now tells me that this is true about Ethel. "I know my conscience is clean, how about yours"? Lol, sure Jan.

2024.05.21 00:04 Forkliftapproved Any mods for getting the AI on historical modes to be a bit more "on schedule?"

The AI seems to bumrush certain things months ahead of time, for one reason or another. They also seem to miss certain behaviors that already exist in the game, or just act strangely. Some examples of what I mean:
-Japan almost ways seems to declare war in June of 1941, not December, and they keep their navy clustered around the Philippines rather than making a fast strike on US naval bases in the Mid-Pacific
-Germany immediately charges into Belgium and the Netherlands, skipping the phony war period.
-Operation Catapult NEVER happens, making the "Arsenal of Democracy" decision permanently unselectable (this does not influence the national focus of the same name)
-Operation Barbarossa is occasionally not declared, and instead the eastern front is started by the Continuation War
I feel like there are some other decisions that don't yet exist, but could be added in as well, like the US freezing Japanese assets in retaliation for their actions in China.
...I also recognize these are all from the perspective of playing as the United States, but given how detached they are from foreign affairs in the prewar era, I think they're pretty close to a "control" case showing weird AI behavior anyway

2024.05.20 23:12 Alarmed-Stage-7066 Stardew Valley Cookbook recipe reviews

Because of whimsy & completionism, I've decided to cook every recipe in the new cookbook. I thought it would also be fun to post "reviews" of each recipe for additional whimsy and to encourage/help other players who may be newer to cooking. Initial, general thoughts on the cookbook are: it is gorgeous and anyone who loves Stardew and cooks AT ALL would enjoy having it. The recipes seem thoughtful and well-crafted. It seems targeted for a more intermediate cook or an adventurous beginner. If you haven't cooked before, this could make a fun first cookbook if you're willing to do some work to learn new skills and try things out. The instructions do a good job of hand-holding without any steps left out. They are (obviously) mostly made from fresh, whole ingredients and most of them are a little more work than a usual weeknight dinner. Scratch cooking with a side of game lore, who could ask for anything more?
I'm going to follow each recipe exactly as written with notes of any substitutions (e.g. I'm not sure if I can source fiddlehead ferns where I live) I plan to do it with teen daughter and we've created two rating systems. Both ratings are completely subjective and just for fun. I'm a hobby, but very experienced (*), cook/baker. Teen is about to turn 16 and obviously not as skilled. Between the two of us we should be able to give you an idea of how hard a recipe would be.
I'll add links here along the way.
First rating scale: Grandpa's candles, This is how much we (again, subjectively) enjoyed eating the dish.
Second rating scale: Tool rating Complexity/difficulty/time consumed. On a scale of copper, iron, gold or iridium, how much work is this recipe? The rating might reflect a trickier technique or just a lot of steps/time involved.

2024.05.20 22:54 anxiousanddangerous My RC cars and the long list of problems they all have.

Hi there, So last year I invested a lot of money into RC as I was bringing about changes to my life and I wanted to relive my childhood. (Just turned 24), it's niche and strange to most people around me but that's okay. I ended up spending A LOT of money on them and now most of them are broken in some way. I took a break for a few months while my garden's grass recovered haha. So here they are and the problems they have
Tamiya Grasshopper: Has a few modifications and has been a fun little basher but sadly the white pop in clip things on the steering links constantly fall out. Even bought new ones but its like they arent even compatible and just fall off. Don't know why this happens. Other than that it still functions as it should. Full bearings and TST motor.
Traxxas Rustler XL5 2wd: This was such a good runner when it worked. I had to replace the motor and the servo not too long before it all went downhill. The little pin in the driveshaft snapped and because I had crap tools I rounded off a lot of grub screws and now it sits in pieces. I want to fix this one but I have lost a few screws and it's just a mess.
FTX Tracer brushed: No major issues with this little one, battered and bruised but still works! Also doesn't hurt my grass either, one headlight is broken however.
Tamiya lunchbox: My boy, my fav. Been through two tamiya sport tuned, had to replace the chassis because of a snapped part where the servo was, 4x 3d printed transmission holders, several servos, you name it I've replaced it. But I love him so much. The motor sounds screechy but it still works. Body is battered but the light rack still works! Held on with tape haha.
Tamiya midnight pumpkin: Bought it used, been through a servo and some aluminum body mounts. It hasn't had many problems except on it's first run the bumper came off after it smashed into my lunchbox (Thanks bro!) but yeah it still functions fine for now.
HSP 94111: This thing was the bane of my existence for a while. It has had so many goddamn problems it's a wonder I didn't throw it out. Converted to brushless and it was all downhill from there. Screws slipping out, driveshafts snapping left right and center, it has a mystery issue where it just cuts off for no reason. I only got it because I had one as a kid and I will not get rid of it. But it does suck haha.
FTX Ravine (Danchee Ridgerock): Slow and steady wins the race, for some reason the servo saver pops off from time to time on both rear and front axles. But other than that it's been great fun. Highly recommend it as a first crawler for anyone
Kyosho Mad Van: Oh man this one is a mixed bag. The classic diff issue IYKYK. Bought hardened ones and it's never been the same. The rear diff is so tight and I cannot for the life of me work out why. I've tried everything from rebuilding the diff, changing the shims inside the gears. Greasing up, cleaning off greassing again. I don't know why it does this. It's so frustrating because it's such a nice looking rc car and I want to take it somewhere as it's summer and I'm not scared of making it all dirty as much. Any help with this would be appreciated. Also had to change the servo.
hbx 16889a pro: Basically wanted a brushless version of my tracer. Poor thing has been smashed about more than you can imagine. The rear shocks are down to floor and need the oil replacing (I have some just don't know how to do it) and the front has been smashed to pieces. It really has seen better days and I've only been in the hobby since last june haha. It does still work, for how long I don't know
Traxxas Slash 4WD VXL: This truck was special to me when I got it because I always wanted one as a kid and couldn't get one because my parents weren't willing to spend £500 on an RC car (WHICH IS MORE THAN FAIR HAHA) so I took the plunge myself. Christmas last year was just rainy so the garden was muddy. Did that stop me? No I wasn't going to have my childhood dream ruined because of rain forget that. Cut to now the bearing by spur gear is very rusted and the whole thing just isn't well at the moment haha. The motor wont go in properly so I kind of hammered it in so now it slips and is scratched. It's a total mess but I miss driving it. I miss all of them to be fair.
Ftxs outback 3.0: I call him the duke. He's small, fragile but never broken on me yet.
I understand that this may frustrate some of you passionate RC people. But which one should I work on fixing first?

2024.05.20 22:07 SweetBrotato Reverse floor Lottery - Flooring Options

Reverse floor Lottery - Flooring Options
Looking for some crowd-sourced opinions on flooring restoration/covering in a new-to-me 1850s home
I've got some awesome old pumpkin pine flooring I love in more common areas but the upper floor seems to have been painted a few times, possibly since original, and at least once with maybe lead paint. Absolutely have been neglected for ages, definitely cat urine and sewer gas permeated in therm (long story). There's a very flaky brown over some grey and in places even a blue. Boards have some classic oakum gaps, aren't the most flat from age/wear, some are a little loose.
I can't subject myself to tens of thousands on additional (possible lead) remediation to sand/scrape, paint strippers didn't work well, and wanted to poll the sub on options to cover.
My hope is I could get some LVP down so I can spend time and energy on doing the right thing preserving and protecting the more common areas, addressing immediate needs of the place. Has anyone else here been forced the wrong way on this subs usual "floor lottery?" What have you done and how "flat" have you had to make the floors? Loose lay or thin stuff work well enough over irregularities?

2024.05.20 20:34 polandballmod [Award Ceremony] Grab Life by the Balls

Hello eukaryotes, Archaea, and primordial oozes!

Our contest Grab Life by the Balls has concluded, and the level of competition has certainly evolved with this competition! From the earliest days of this challenge, we've seen all sorts of competing strains of P. b. artifex try and make the best use of the limited user-resources available in our subreddit Petri dish. From flagella-flung fan-favorites to cilia-catapulted comic creations, the 18 specially crafted, genetically-modified strains have had to race to the top. After all, there's only so much room in this Petri dish, so only one of the strains can make it to the top and propagate itself across the environment to become endemic. While we've seen many twists and turns from the near-Brownian paths these strains have tried to take to the top, the race at the final stretch certainly has a story to tell: those Hussar Wing mutations you get from UV light exposure at the top ain't all they're cracked up to be - use them to fly as you may, just don't fly so far up that the radiation sterilizes you completely. That's the end of the road, after all, and you would just end up as a carcass for scavenger species to feast upon, failing in your quest of survival of the fittest.

With 8.18 points, please give a round of applause to...

2024.05.20 19:24 etnoodle ex is contacting me now that im rebuilding my relationship with my son’s father.

ex is contacting me now that im rebuilding my relationship with my son’s father.
i feel like theres so much to explain and i dont know where to start. i know many of you are hopeful that your exes may comeback, but i was dreading this. i shouldve known it was coming. and its just progressed so much that i dont even know how to begin to handle it.
ex has been in my life since 2016. on and off hardcore long distance relationship. i cheated in 2018, and we met in person for the first and only time in 2020. it was a fucking surreal experience with this person. everytime he’d come back into my life id lose myself in him, and id become an entirely different person to the people who knew me. something in me changed after our last breakup. sure, i cried and sobbed like a bitch but i also felt relieved. it helped me accept that what we once had is long gone.
current boyfriend/father of my child i met in 2018 and is who i cheated with. this detail is so fucking important because it highlights my major flaw in all this of going back and forth between these two men in some horrible emotional whiplash rollercoaster over the past 6 years. also just the general fact that im a piece of shit and my mistakes will forever haunt me.
i never cheated again, but i would rebound continuously through each one as they decided if i was worthy enough for a redemption arc at the time i suppose. i have a lot of other mental issues and my own onslaught of trust issues that always are too difficult for me to expect someone else to stick through. each time with each one it would end in break up and cycle repeat.
i got pregnant in 2021 due to just plain irresponsibility. choices were made. honestly feel like i should crosspost this into some parenting subreddit because of my extra irresponsibility bringing a fricking child into this mess. me and his father have always had a consistently toxic dynamic and we broke up not long after he was born due to the fighting getting way too bad and my worries of it affecting how our son will grow up. im a firm believer of two separate happy parents over two together miserable ones due to how i grew up. i stayed single and happy and worked on myself until the day before my birthday in 2023 when my ex contacted me. i folded. i was lonely. my current boyfriend had already fooled around with multiple girls during our separation and i just folded man. we broke up the day before my sons birthday, not even a whole month later, due to many issues and me just knowing that it didnt feel right anymore. i mean, it wasnt right. i felt like i was jamming a square peg into a circle hole. we agreed on no contact. i went absolutely sick with grief of the realization id never want to try again after that and filled our Minecraft world with a shit ton of sentimental words and builds. then i moved on. i deleted the server from my list, and i said goodbye to that part of my life naively thinking that would be that.
i was pretty okay being single again, got some much needed recovery time. i got back with the father on my son in October 2023 after he spent the entire month showing how much he desired for us to be a family. pumpkin patches together, boo at the zoo, the whole nine yards. we officially decided to try again on Halloween and have been trucking along this rocky road of love for the past 7 months. publicly changed our relationship statuses just last month. april 2024. im such an idiot for leaving the server like that. ex found it and i can imagine how it made him felt. i mean, i dont fucking have to imagine! he messaged me to tell me! and i replied like a dumbass! so he messaged me again. and again i replied. the last message i sent was “you are not a bad person. now please stop contacting me it makes my heart hurt and head heavy” after image #3.
i know i need to tell my current boyfriend. i know the only reason i havent yet is because of some obvious unresided feeling. he just keeps messaging me and i dont know what to do anymore. probably just hit the block button. fuck. i dont know how im expecting reddit to help with this. i thought about marking this as a vent because that is what it is but i do desperately need help. a therapist would probably be more fit. currently all i want to do want is curl up into a pathetic ball, close my eyes, and have my past disappear.

2024.05.20 18:07 Fuzlet Nobody told me the railgun kills hulks in one shot *on safe mode!*

I’ve been on a quest to find a suitable antitank weapon to go with the supply pack, since I love how vicious I can be with the pack, spewing forth salvos and grenades, shrugging off injuries with piles of stims, and using my secondary weapon as often as my primary.
I ruled out the EAT, Quasar, laser cannon, and arc thrower for now simply because they don’t extract ammo from the pack, and I want the feel of feeding off the pack to fuel a weapon. I want synergies.
I run flamethrower occasionally, but it’s not my first choice. I love the heavy machinegun but it doesn’t work on heavies (still crossing my fingers hoping for a thermite fix so I can have pocket antitank). I experimented with the grenade launcher but killing chargers with it is messy at best. antimateriel rifle is good for bots, but less so against bugs. this brought me to the only option left, the railgun…
keep in mind, while I played the game prenerf, I avoided the railgun and never really used it, for its pumpkin spice latte reputation at the time. now though, I dusted it off and gave it a try. it’s amazing!
I hopped into a mission to try it against a hulk. a single charge on safemode, at the general vicinity of the eye dropped it instantly. I tried it against a charger, and while I knew about the two shots to the leg method, I decided to experiment. turns out it takes 3 overcharge shots or 6 safe shots to the forehead, about where you aim a rocket, to blow its head clean off. this is actually incredibly nice. they don’t have to be maxed out, only about halfway to critical, and you can shoot from any angle, making it a much easier target than the front leg, plus you don’t need to swap weapons.
needless to say, I think I love the railgun now. it can kill three chargers with a single supply pack charge, or up to 10 with a single resupply, assuming the gun’s empty, it refills a supply pack charge, and you have the T4 ship upgrade.
I like hotswapping between safe and unsafe, because safe lets me take the time to draw a bead, and can kill anything smaller than a charger just fine. I’m curious if the railgun might even kill a bile titan, given it’s 2 rockets to the forehead, which might mean 6 or so overcharge shots

2024.05.20 16:29 contigency000 Modularity is completed, so lemme hype my fellow caterpillar owners.

Since we got confirmation that the modularity has been completed, I've been digging back into old videos of CiG to find one about the caterpillar which hyped me a lot when it first came out.
It's a video from 8 years ago where designer Randy Vasquez and Jared talk about the modularity of the caterpillar. I remember that they showed quite a lot of modules during the video, but I was surprised to see how many there were when I re-watched it.
Idk if that designer still works at CiG, but he seemed very invested in his work on the cat, and honestly, he had very good ideas for cat modules.
Anyway, I'm just posting it here for my fellow cat owners who haven't watched it : https://youtu.be/eY6nJOLn6dk?si=O7WKCTElpUFymMtv&t=180 (timestamp : 3:00)
If you don't wanna waste time watching it, here's a list of the cool ideas for modules & features the designer talked about :
(disclaimer : remember this video is 8 years old, so a bunch of the stuff talked about here is outdated—like the salvage modules—, while other ideas have probably been canceled and will never be released)

Side modules :

Features :

Front modules :

Caterpillar variants :

(modules are in order from front to back)
After re-watching the vid, I find it sad that CiG just completely forgot about the cat for so long. That ship deseperately deserves an update.
I still don't get how the Sabre Raven, one of the rarest ships in the game that almost nobody uses, was put ahead of old ships when it came to a rework. Same for the firebird, which imo will be a much worse Talon shrike. Without even talking about the worse mobility stats, even its design is flawed : throwing volleys of 6 missiles is all fun, till you realize you only have 12 missiles in total lmao.
Now that modularity is done, CiG has no excuse to finally work on the 600i/caterpillar reworks. A gladiator golden pass would be cool, too. Kinda sad to see those awesome ships being completely forgotten, even more so when they waste resources on money-grab sales.
I know the Polaris took most of the ship teams for a while, and the perseus/galaxy will continue to do so, but the teams that worked on the F7C MKII, F7A, Santokyai, Raven update & Firebird could have been spent toward old ships instead.
Sure, bringing money is good for the project, but let's be honest : with the plethora of new ships released each year and the massive sales during events (especially IAE), it's not like CiG can't spend 1 or 2 teams to rework old ships. Even if it's long, it would be nice if we knew that, at least, some guys are actively working on it.

Bonus :

Since there are no arguments for how I make a story, I made another Kong Fan-Fiction! Hope you like it!
All I can truly say is… enjoy the show! (Fair warning, it's like VERY long, and features some pretty wild stuff, even for the MonsterVerse)
We open off, after the Legendary and Warner Bros. credits, with a first-person view of what looked like an unknown creature, a Titan by the looks of it, silently stalking and prowling through a dense forest, hiding in the shadows. There is a group of Great Apes, foraging for food by the looks of it, walking around, until the first-person Titan grabbed a log between its jaws and threw it at a distance, diverting their attention to the sound, while the Titan zooms to a different angle and watches. Back to regular camera work, leader Ape looked at the log in confusion, before the mystery Titan zooms in and takes out one of the other Apes, alerting the others and drawing their weapons, and soon enough, all the other Apes were taken out quickly and efficiently with its environment, until the leader was left.
The Ape brought out a stone knife to defend itself, swinging at the attacker, but the mystery Titan was too fast and kept slashing at different angles, until it finally went for the kill by revealing it had a group of its own, then wounding its legs, biting down on the neck and snapping it. The mystery Titan leader was dragging the corpse away, until it sees the knife, and sniffs it, before the creature made a panicked sound and zooms off somewhere, the rest of the group following it. The camera zooms in as it shows a footprint of the mystery Titan as whatever epic opening you thought of in your mind plays out, as the title is emblazoned through your vision.
Kong wakes up in his throne at Hollow Earth, greeting Suko, who tags along with him as he gets his trusty Axe and ventures out of the Living Caves (what Skar King's kingdom is called in the GxK Novel). Kong greets Jia (Kaylee Hottle), her mother Ilene Andrews (Rebecca Hall) and Bernie Hayes (Brian Tyree Henry), as he and Suko venture off. Kong was minding his own business and doing usual Kong things, until he noticed something off in the environment. It isn't until he takes another step that he realizes when he almost got impaled by an improvised deadfall trap with a Titan's skull. Kong was shocked that another creature supposedly knew how a trap worked, until Suko noticed something near the trap, a footprint. The same one in the beginning. The human cast contact one of the world's best animal (also Titan) tracker, Oliver Huntley (Robert Pattinson). After recruiting him, he identifies the footprint as a theropod, but not like one any one recorded by the humans. Suko, using his tracking skills during Skar King's tyranny to use, managed to find out the origin of the footprint's trail and zooms off, causing Kong to follow and the humans to join in.
Meanwhile, we see a plains area, where there is an Outpost monitoring any activity in this recently-discovered area. The crew inside report no disturbances or any proximity alerts, which causes them to slightly cut loose and not worry about anything. Until the whole Outpost was blaring red, with a warning that there is a breach and the Outpost has been compromised. One of the crew checks their scanners, only to be dumbfounded, because while there is clearly something causing damage to their base of operations, there's nothing on the scanners that indicate as such. That is all they realize before they see the shadow of a large claw on top of the Outpost.
Back with our heroes, they follow Suko as he follows the trail, which leads them to the inside of the large forest, named "The Tangled Hole". Both Ape Titans stopped, seeing that the trail runs cold. Until there was a loud explosion, which startles all the protagonists. They follow the new trail, of smoke, to its origin. The now-ruined Outpost we just saw getting destroyed. Everyone, even the Great Ape duo, was clearly in shock at the carnage, until Kong almost got killed by a snare trap connected to a pitfall trap. Kong easily evades the trap, but now knows something is up, and something is still here. He was proven correct when a giant raptor Titan. A Deathrunner. Soon another one shows up, and another, and another until the heroes are swarmed by about five of them. They engage Kong, and Kong specifically, suspiciously enough, in a battle, and due to an impressive amount of pack teamwork and coordination, Kong almost loses, until Suko comes charging in to one of them with a stone knife and jabs it into one of their sides, wounding it enough for Kong to slam his axe onto its back, killing it. The Deathrunners know when to cut their losses and retreat, but not before another one grabs the stone knife in its jaws.
The humans and Titans follow the Deathrunner's trail, until Oliver stops the human team by telling them there's something in the area, a cavern-filled lush vale, filled to the brim with flora and fauna. Like, significantly so. Kong and Suko stop, until they sense something, shadows flitting in and out of the fog of the vale before the creature lunges out and reveals itself as a… baby Skullcrawler, about the same size as Suko or smaller! The baby Crawler, shockingly out of character, playfully and affectionately acts like a dog to the stunned Kong, who doesn't know what to do. On the one hand, this was the same creature that killed his parents. But on the other, this one was a baby and was acting friendly.
The Baby Skullcrawler gestures Kong to follow, and he does so. The humans were in awe, seeing a Skullcrawler, of all things, acting like a great friendly big guy. Meanwhile, the Deathrunner Pack retreated to their den, where thousands of Deathrunners stop to stare at the Pack as the two Praetorians make way for them as the one holding the knife drops it and reports of what happened to their Queen, Gaw. Gaw sniffs the knife, and snarls at the scent of blood of her own and the scent of Great Ape, before she softly caws and nuzzles the pack members (yet ANOTHER Hollow Earth Alpha who treats their subject MUCH better than Skar King), then barking and bringing an army of her own, rushing off to follow Kong's scent. Back to the heroes, the baby Skullcrawler leads Kong to the deeper reaches of the vale. Kong's journey led him to the biggest cave there was, filled with Skullcrawlers, until the Baby Skullcrawler leads Kong to their Alpha, the Father of the Skullcrawlers, the First Skullcrawler… Halakrah.
Kong was immediately filled with traumatic memories as we get a flashback on the night of his birth, when Skullcrawlers massacred his tribe and his parents on Skull Island, leading Kong to roar as he charges in to battle Halakrah, to which the Alpha Skullcrawler responded in kind. Suko and the Baby Skullcrawler (who I'll name Verto) tried to stop their fathers from battling to the death, until a rumbling interrupts them, both looking to see a rather large cave-in collapsing, before a barking comes out, Gaw and her Deathrunner army having caught up to them. Halakrah sees his Skullcrawlers getting overpowered and attacked by the Deathrunners, causing him to roar out in concern for his children, and Kong to look in shock. Kong and Halakrah look at each other, forming an uneasy alliance, before they both charge in to fight the Deathrunners, although they try to one-up the other.
Kong and Halakrah hold their own against the Deathrunners as they overpower the Skullcrawlers, who shockingly aren't that aggressive and aren't immediately devouring any Runners they kill. Still, Kong eventually battles Gaw, while Halakrah battles her Praetorians. While the Alpha Skullcrawler managed his own, Kong landed some good hits on Gaw, before she wrenches the Axe from his grasp, and almost digs her teeth onto Kong's throat. Suko screams in worry, before Verto leaps onto Gaw and mauls Gaw's back, which distracts her enough for Kong to get her off him and throw her to Halakrah, who tail whips her onto her Praetorians. The Praetorians were about to attack, before Gaw stops them and orders a retreat. Kong and Halakrah look at each other in a sort of grudging respect for one another, but it seemed that Suko and Verto were getting along just fine, to the amusement of the humans. So for the sake of their sons, (and because Kong has grown fond of Verto) Kong and Halakrah at least try to play nice together, which is going to be needed when the Alpha Skullcrawler joins the heroes to avenge his children.
Gaw snarls as she realizes Kong and Halakrah are likely on her trail, before one of her pack members directs her attention to a specific location: a large plateau with a foggy gas encircling the middle and top. Suddenly, Gaw realized she had an idea. Back to the heroes, Kong and his allies were reaching an acid pool /swamp. After a few minutes of suspense, where Oliver told them something was watching, the heroes were ambushed by the Deathrunners. Despite the Deathrunners using traps and the environment to their advantage, the humans' HEAV had combat capabilities for some chance to fight back, while Kong and Halakrah had a better understanding of the Deathrunners and were easily defeating them… until Kong hears a cry of help, and turns to see Verto getting dragged by a Deathrunner. Halakrah roars in worry, before Kong charges in and leaps at them, saving Verto and impaling the Deathrunner onto a tree branch. With the Deathrunners getting more aggressive, the heroes retreat to the Living Caves, escaping the Deathrunners. After a breather, Halakrah stares at Kong… before bowing down to the Great Ape, out of gratitude for saving his son's life. Kong gives a nod at this. Meanwhile, at the plateau, Gaw and her remaining pack dispels the fog covering the top, before grabbing the stone knife, coats Kong's scent on a log, and tosses it up. Another Titan's eyes glow at the inside of a cave as it smells Kong's scent on the projectile, before roaring as it leaps out.
Back at the Living Caves, the humans and Titans take a breather, before Halakrah notices the giant pit where Kong and Skar King fought, sniffs the earth, and lets out a growl of what sounds like both anger and sorrow. He sniffs around, and finds a Skullcrawler's skull. And another. And another. Kong and the humans were stunned at seeing so many of them, and Jia's touching of them has her tell them that their markings revealed that they were the same Skullcrawlers from Skull Island. Suddenly, why Halakrah was so aggressive to Kong made sense. Skar King enslaved and kidnapped a majority of Hollow Earth's Skullcrawlers - his children - and selectively bred them to be the most aggressive they can be. The reason they were so hypervorous was because to maximize that, he starved them to the brink of taking just about anything, and sicced them on the Great Apes on Skull Island, for daring to rebel from him. Kong realized this as well, which made him look at Halakrah in a new light, until the Alpha Skullcrawler senses something. Both Kaiju get ready as they, their kids, and the humans traverse out of the Living Caves and journey further, following a new trail… until they get ambushed again! This time by another Alpha, the First Warbat and the Mother of all Warbats, Nozuki.
Nozuki was furious at Kong's supposed attempt on her life, as she battles the King of the Apes. She puts up a pretty good fight, but Kong holds his own pretty well against her, and that's before Halakrah joins in on the battle, together defeating the Mother of the Warbats. Just as Kong was about to slam his axe down on her, he gets tackled by Gaw, and Halakrah gets pinned down by the Praetorians. Nozuki was taken with them too as the Deathrunners take the Kaiju… except the humans, who used biomimicry to hide from the Deathrunners and trail them to their lair. At the Deathrunners take their prey to the lair and trap them. Nozuki sees the humans trying to break the three's "cages" with the help of Suko and Verto, and relays this to Kong, who bided his time as Gaw enters to kill him. Gaw reveals a male Deathrunner's skull next to her den, revealing that she used to have a mate, but thanks to the Skar King yet again, most of her pack back then was lost, including him. Gaw was about to execute Kong quickly, until he broke free and smashed his fist into her. Kong quickly broke the other two free, before grabbing his Axe and running with Suko and Verto. Halakrah and the humans follows, and after some hesitation due to Kong not killing her when he had the chance, so does Nozuki.
Just before she chases after Kong, Gaw barks to a female of her pack, as she directs her 3 offspring to the female, basically telling her to take care of them for her, as she runs off, her army of thousands following her. What follows is an epic chase scene as the Deathrunner swarm upon Kong, who eventually gets cornered in the middle of a dead end, a stony area filled with crags and spires. Kong was cornered by the Deathrunners and an enraged Gaw as Kong prepares to fight them off. Until the rocks up above get disturbed by something, burying some, but not all of the Deathrunners. All of them look up to see Suko and the humans, who guided Halakrah to help him, and they do, the Alpha Skullcrawler charging into battle and taking down the Deathrunners with newfound ease, which bolsters Kong as he rushes in, with both the Axe and his fists. Alas, one of the Deathrunner Praetorians managed to trap Kong in rubble, slip through the attacks and was about to lunge to the humans to cut out the support, until Nozuki arrived and tackled the Praetorian, sending it off of a cliff to its death. Nozuki was dumbfounded at Kong's mercy and generosity, and wanted to repay the favor, which she did so. Nozuki joins as an ally of Kong's, helping to turn the tide in battle against the other Deathrunners as Kong battles Gaw. In the climax of the battle, just as Gaw is about to attack the humans' HEAV, Kong tackles Gaw into a wall, and slams her down, causing the earth to collapse and for the two to fall into a hidden Vile Vortex, and causing their allies to join them.
On the Surface World, Gaw and Kong were spat out in Aruba, where they almost immediately pick themselves up and continue fighting. Soon enough, their other allies were launched into the country, they also continued their brawl. Halakrah and Nozuki were keeping the other Deathrunners and the other Praetorian at bay while Kong battles their Queen. Kong's battle continued until Gaw managed to wrench the Axe away from Kong and toss it away. The two began dodging and weaving on top of buildings as they clashed. Gaw managed to tackle and pin Kong down, pinning his arms with her feet, and was about to land the killing blow… until Suko charges in with the Axe, riding on top of Verto, and slams the Axe on Gaw's side, wounding her and forcing her off of Kong. The King of the Apes recovers immediately as Gaw tosses the Axe from her side, lodging it blade-up and drags Kong into the fray again.
Halakrah and Nozuki defeat a majority of the Deathrunners, but every time they defeated one, five more replace it. Eventually, the area where the Vortex is starts glowing. To the humans, Bernie speculates that the reason why is because so many Deathrunners are going into it, then the energy is building up before it releases into a massive explosion of energy. And sure enough, that's what happens. Kong, Gaw, Suko, Halakrah, Verto, Nozuki, and a majority of the Deathrunners were catapulted into the sky and began fighting mid-air. Gaw and Kong let out some equal amounts of punishment, but Kong managed to grab her and as Gaw tries to bite his throat, Kong looks back and, upon hitting he ground, uses his momentum and throw-slams Gaw away from him, and into the path of the Axe, impaling Gaw and killing her. As the rest of the combatants fall down, the remaining Praetorian sees his Queen's corpse, and issues a retreat, as all the Deathrunners scatter back to the Hollow Earth, their battle strategies gone without their Queen's strategic and analytical mind. Kong roars in victory, but sees Suko still plummeting. Kong roars in worry as he tries to grab Suko, only narrowly missing the little ape's fingers, before Halakrah leaps off and grabs him, both plummeting into the ocean.
As Kong and his allies watch in suspense, they see Halakrah emerge out of the water with a still-living Suko, who excitedly raises his hands for the whole thing. Kong and Halakrah share a look, this time not with hostility as their first meeting, but with mutual respect, and Kong extends that same gaze to Nozuki, who responded likewise. All three Alpha Titans let out a triumphant roar, as Halakrah and Nozuki enter the Vile Vortex back home. The ending scene shows Halakrah letting out a roar to announce his presence to his children as he feasts on a well-earned victory meal, Nozuki flies back to her plateau cave and tends to her babies, and Kong returning back to the Living Caves, with Suko as the cave's inhabitants let out a roar and celebrating yet another victory for Kong and avenging the Apes at the beginning.
