Monday could have been awesome, but was on the wrong side of 4 major MLB meltdowns and blown leads in 8th or 9th. Some days it happens like that. On the wrong side but wrong result thanks to shitty bullpens and managers who leave pitchers in too long (Houston with Framber left in too long). Hit one of the umpire overs, lost the last one. 12-1 umpire overs now. Can't win em all. Hope everyone made some last night despite the BS at the end of these games.

For background, I'm Plat III who can play any lane but usually main TOP, followed by JUNGLE and BOT.
Here are the champs that I play:
Top: Ornn, Gwen (main), Panth Jungle: Gwen, Panth Mid: Ahri, Ori Bot: Lucian (main), MF Support: Thresh, Brand (if no options)
Thing is, I usually adjust to my teammates' comp and willingly go for last pick when I play top. If the support is squishy, I'd take Ornn. If the support is tanky, I'll play Gwen. However, I don't have much knowledge on picks and counterpicks. For example, a lot of people say Rammus is a counterpick for a lot of good JGs.
Can anyone provide additional champ recommendations (with explanation) based on strategy and counterpicks? Thank you!

• Nasdaq: trading flat at 18,665. Support will now be at around 18,350.
• Ger40: Slightly lower today, at 18,600. Some slight profit taking near the highs.
• HKG50: Moving lower again for 2nd day in a row. Now at 19,240. Yesterday, was at 19,750 at one point. So down 2.7% across yesterday and today.
• Oil - hit 80 yesterday on WTI but was rejected off there. Lower today to 78, down by 1.5%. Back to range bound.
• Gold: Trading at 2418, Support at 2400.
• VIX: After getting crushed to 12 yesterday, bounced up off of there, now higher.

FX:

• DXY moving flat today and yesterday, around 104.5
• Had fallen to 100d moving average after CPI then moved higher, bouncing from there.
• EURUSD positioning still bullish, flat, slightly higher at 1.087
• GBPUSD moving higher again, trading at 1.272

• MSFT estimates 50 million AI PCs will be sold over the next year. Said its rearchitectured Windows 11 is 58% faster than Apple’s MacBook Air.

This thing is so messed up, it'll spin you sideways if you let it.
We naturally think that overcoming urges is a matter of "being stronger" and that we're going to be stronger next time.
But that strength is not about being strong in the traditional sense of being stronger over it but more about strength to let it go, to not fight it, to allow it to be there and not take action.
I heard this Ted talk called dropping the rope or something and it was about exactly that, dropping the rope and not fighting it.
Imagine you're in a tug of war with a huge concrete block. YOu've a rope tied to a huge concrete block and you're doing all that you can to pull the rope to move the block.
It's not going to happen but you think it will so you keep pulling.
The Ted talk was saying, just drop the rope, don't play the game, just stop.
Stop fighting it.
What that looks like in real life, imo, is you've an urge hitting you hard and you just let it. You breathe deeply, slowly and deliberately. You feel it while not taking that action of looking at porn.
Your brain is going to be screaming at you to look at porn, to open that browser and type whatever in . Let it, let it scream, but breathe through it.
The more you can allow it to be there and not take action, that's your strength! That's the true strength in being stronger over urges.
This is really hard when you're starting out so start by doing just 1 min of breathing and feeling it. Then move up to 2 mins and 3 etc.
Pretty soon you''re doing 5 or 10 mins and the urges disappear.

That to me is what strength is, feelng it and responding the way I want vs reacting in a way I don't want.
If you can do this and then go to the gym or for a walk or run, you'll be showing your brain that 1) you're strong enough to handle an urge, to allow it and 2) you'd rather be doing something else instead of watching porn.

Society sucks.
I was always on the chubbier side of life and got bullied and brought down by everyone. A few years ago I started exercising and the same people who were assholes wanna be friends. I don’t say anything, but what a load of bull. People need to learn how to love everyone regardless of size, height, gender, race, religion, political opinions, or any other background. Human beings are all born equal and all deserve love.
A lot of people struggle to get through each day and that’s not ok. For anyone who needs to hear it, I love you! You are amazing and deserve all the happiness in the world. If u need someone to talk to or someone to get you through each day, you have me! Even if it’s just 30 seconds a day where you need someone to remind you that you matter and you’re worth all the stars in the sky.
I’m happy you exist and I want you to know that you are loved!

I have been deep in the chaser effect for quite a while now but it's time for me to end this and stop going back.
I made it to almost 70 days few months ago but then I slipped and was stuck in this endless loop again. But No, this is it. I end this today. I am never turning back.
I pledge to myself to never do this again. I will be free and live free.

I feel kinda lost right now and have no one to talk to or at least I don’t know who I should approach for some advice.
My girlfriend and I have been talking for almost 6 months which was a long distance set up and got into a relationship in January. We are actually doing very well. I can just speak for myself but I am very happy. She claims to be very happy as well, yet.. she’s still in touch with her exes which I find problematic.
I confronted her yesterday and we had a quite rough night. She says she’s just being nice and I don’t have to worry about them yet, she made me unfollow certain people on IG. She wants me to cut off everyone while she is keeping her exes around. She says they didn’t end in bad terms and that’s why they’re still in touch. No intentions or anything. She claims to be just nice and kind and she says she might be just naive to think that these guys have the same intentions.
Honestly, I can’t tell if she’s telling me the truth or straight up lies to me about it. I have my insecurities and all this BS just adds up to it and feeds my fear of getting cheated on.
What should I do? Break up? Give her a chance to prove herself? I don’t know if i’m overreacting or if I genuinely be concerned. Also don’t know what to do right now. I can’t make any proper decisions right now since I’m emotionally drained and need some advice. What are your thoughts? I (F37) own two businesses and I recently joined a women’s networking group. I met another woman (F58) there who is a marketing expert. Not long after, I received a weird passive aggressive text from her asking if I was the same person who presented. I said that I was and she said ‘I did your test but I haven’t heard anything?’. I explained that my plan was to go over these in person, as explained in my presentation, but as she had been ill, I was happy to meet remotely to discuss. I explained that I would not be at the immediate next ‘in person event’ due to client meetings, but I would be at the one after.
This woman replied and said she would be happy to meet remotely and asked that I send a meeting request for a date and time to suit me this week. I did that last week - emailed the invite and also sent a text. The text went unacknowledged.
I joined the meeting this morning and - she ghosted - of course. I text to see if she was having tech difficulties and she replied an hour later to say she wasn’t feeling well and she had recently had an operation (I was already aware) and ‘if you had been at the in person event last week I would have been able to explain to you’ 🤨
Fine but - 1. I had explained in advance that I wouldn’t be at the in person, and sent the invite after.

1. There were 5 days between the meeting invite being sent and the meeting, yet no effort to acknowledge it.

Basically I get overwhelmed by working even though I didn't start.
And when I do manage that and get started for a week of productivity, A) I am not as productive as I would imagine or want to, which creates some disappointment, and B) I feel so overwhelmed and bored, lonely, etc, because I am not relaxing or having fun (and to be honest, I don't know how to relax and have fun, just gaming and distractions)
I wish there is a world or label or clear simple explanation to my experience, I want to "diagnos" so I can understand and fix it.

I have an LG C2 but when i try to stream 4k Remux HDR direct from my library to the TV app it will stutter a great deal. I've tried different cables and i have decent wifi (wifi 6).
I can see that lifetime subscriber allows for hardware decoding.
Can anyone confirm whether this will entirely eliminate the stuttering? Also does it increase quality of the Remux than a free account?

Hi fellow dungeon masters, I would like to ask you for some ideas on how to make a cool story from one of my player’s background. In short: his barbarian village was nearly destroyed by a plague which seems to be caused by some kind of lab rats (he found some marked animals and was one of the few survivors of this plague). So he went to investigate.
We create the world as we go with my players and do not play Forgotten realms per say so nothing is impossible but at the moment I struggle to come up with who could be motivated to do such a thing and I don’t want this to be work of some major villain or big bad guy. I also don’t need a fully fleshed out ´what to do next´. Maybe just a couple of ideas for me to use as a spark.

But let's say nobody passed by the sensor for days and someone turns on the smart plugs or lightbulbs. How can I make Alexa switch off the mentioned devices in this case after a certain amount of time without movement detection in a specific sensor?

• MSFT yesterday, said that Copilot Plus PCs will be based on Qualcomm’s snapdragon X Elite chips, and will offer 15 hours of web browsing and 20 hours of video battery life. MSFT says it’ll outperform MacBook Air.
• On Copilot Plus, Neural processor enables new AI features such as recall for a searchable PC memory.
• MSFT estimates 50 million AI PCs will be sold over the next year. Said its rearchitectured Windows 11 is 58% faster than Apple’s MacBook Air.
• MSFT - restructures Windows 11 for better ARM hardware support and AI integration. Introduces prism emulator, launched to improve compatibility with older x86 and x64 apps. MSFT says Prism emulator is 20% faster than previous versions.
• AAPL - Files law suit to overturn $1.8B EU antitrust fine over App Store rules. AAPL is challenging a 1.8B fine.
• MSFT - OpenAI will be sued by Scarlett Johansson for basically copying her voice against her explicit instruction not to.
• TSLA - Tesla shareholder group still not happy with Elon Musk’s $56B pay package. Urged other investors to reject a $56B pay package.

• NOVA - Piper Sandler downgrades Sunnova Energy to neutral from overweight, lowered price target to 4.50 from 9. Analyst had upgraded sun nova in December on expectation of lower rates, but rates have stayed high.

• Mester’s comments yesterday:
• 3 rate cuts this year is no longer appropriate.
• April CPI was good, but too soon to say what path inflation is on. She said she doesnt think about rate cuts in terms of when. We can raise rates but its not base case. That’s bearish, but also unrealistic. I think there’s less risk now that we are too restrictive, and inflation risks are to upside.

My motherboard only has 1 USB controller and I don't have any free PCI slots, but I need more usb ports for my Windows VM. I bought a powered usb hub (Here) and plugged it into one of the USB ports on my mobo and then passed that usb port into my windows VM using the USB Manager Hotplug plugin. However it seems to behave inconsistently where certain ports on the hub periodically vanish or disable themselves and stop working. Is this just something that doesn't really work well or am I doing something wrong? Thanks, any help is appreciated.
