The teacher stated that human resources and hardware was out of scope. So I looked around and thought I could develop a city guide on a mobile app. Sounds easy right? No, not easy. It was difficult to find something with low coding requirements. I have not taken a coding class in YEARS and my last 12 classes I took only dealt with project management, not actual technical development.
I tried downloading Android studio and I am overwhelmed. I, of course, have googled things relating to learning it.
So what I am asking here is....Does this seem impossible to do in 8 weeks? Is there a better mobile app builder that I am unaware of that is free? More user friendly?

I've been learning more about how authenticators work for 2FA and noticed:
I'm using Google Authenticator for 2FA.
Since free accounts only support one authenticator instance, it makes sense that the last one added stomps on the one that existed previously. I'm puzzled though, why paid accounts support multiple authenticator instances, but it seems that only the most recently created instance will work. I thought each new instance represented another backup.
Am I missing something, or does each new authenticator instance stomp on the current/active one, while leaving previously-created authenticators in the list? I was happily creating multiple authenticator instances, thinking that I could use any of the codes displayed in my Google Authenticator, but was shocked to discover that only the last one created (on another family member's phone as a backup) actually worked.
I now get that I should save the seed key and use that to "innoculate" backup authenticators, rather than create more authenticators, but why doesn't Azure issue a warning and delete the existing instance when a new authenticator is created?

I joined a Shark Tank PBC 15-20 days ago as a full-stack developer. I was assigned to build a new feature, so I started reviewing the existing backend codebase. To my surprise, I discovered that there is no authentication at any endpoint, not even in the admin panels. They are decoding the JWT in the backend without verifying it.
To confirm my suspicion, I replaced the user ID in the JWT with my colleague's, without using the valid secret key(I don't even have the valid secret key). When I refreshed the window, I was logged into my colleague's account. For final confirmation, I deleted the account, and indeed, my colleague's account was deleted. Also, they are not using webhooks to create orders, nor are they verifying prices in the backend. This means anyone can set the price to zero on the frontend and order for free. Overall, every piece of code is poorly written.
The tech team consists of three developers and a CTO. I was told that 90% of the code was written by the CTO, which was even more shocking. Even more surprising is that everyone in tech team knows this code is insecure, yet no one has fixed it. No one else in the company is aware of this. The founders are unaware that they could be hacked at any moment. I have also heard that the founders are toxic too.
I am in a position where I have to write insecure code that can be hacked at any time, and I don't like writing such code. Now I have a few options:
  1. Apply for a new job and leave after I get an offer letter.
  2. Tell the founders about this and hope I don't get fired or estranged from the whole team and CTO.
  3. Keep writing the poor-quality code.
What should I do?

Hello,
I’m a 24-year-old looking to pursue a master’s degree, but I’m unsure which field to choose. Here’s a bit about my background: I graduated with a B.S. in Psychology, along with Forensic Science and Pre-Med Certificates. Initially, I planned to go to medical school, but after shadowing in the medical field, I realized it wasn’t for me. Unfortunately, I discovered this in my senior year of college so I can’t just change major or get another certificate. However, during my senior year, I started learning new skills like coding and data analysis, hoping they might be useful.
I decided to take a gap year to figure out my path and pay off my student loans. Fortunately, I landed a job in video production right after graduation, and my contract was extended from one year to two years. Although I like my current job, there is not much grow potential in my position, especially without a master or higher degree. If everything goes as planned, I should finish paying off my student loans by the end of this year. This means I need to start my graduate school applications soon, so I can get accept into Fall'25 program. I don’t want to take more than a two-year gap because I worry it will be difficult to get letters of recommendation if I’m away for too long. Getting these letters is already a challenge since I was working 2 part-time jobs and very close to my professors .
I hoped to have a clear goal after almost a year of thinking, but I still feel as uncertain as I did a year ago. On the bright side, my company offers free Coursera programs. I know people said that they are not that useful, but since they are free, I completed the Data Analytics and UX Design Professional Certificates from Google. I also might get a couple more certificates as well.
However, the more I learn, the more unsure I become. I feel like I could many options because I’ve picked up a lot of random skills, but they do not seem correlate with one another now that I think about it. And, almost everyone is getting laid off, which make me even more anxious about my decisions. I know this sounds like I’m just complaining, but I’m genuinely concerned. Does anyone have any advice for me? Thank you.

Despite the implementation file (MyClass.cpp) having free access to the customlib methods and types, the header (MyClass.hpp) is completely unable to access anything from it, returning a compilation error if you try to use the "foo" struct under any context. This is all because the "#include 'customlib.h'" back at the main.cpp file is not wrapped with the Cuslib namespace, when you add it the whole code compiles as normal. Does anyone have any idea on why that happens?
