I just started a new job and since the job involves driving company vehicles I'm required to submit all my driving records from the past 5 years. Problem is, I moved 2 years ago and I have only been able to get the driving record from the state I live in now. Is it even possible to access the previous 3 years of my driving record from the state which I haven't lived in for years? I attempted to make an online account with my former state's DMV but I no longer have my old license since it's expired, outdated, and useless to me now, so I am unable to provide the necessary information like when the card was issued. The driving record I got from my current state has the old license listed as having existed in the past and gives me the license number, but I have literally no way of finding out when that license was initially issued, which is necessary to create an account. The other option given on my old state's DMV website is to print a paper form and mail it in but I'm hesitant to go out and buy envelopes and stamps and also have to get a money order since that's the only payment the DMV accepts (besides check, and who on earth has a checkbook anymore?). Will sending in this form still allow me to access my driving records even though the license I need the records for has not been valid for years? I don't want to go through so much hassle just for them to tell me I can't even actually get my driving record sent to me. The state I'm trying to get the record from is Georgia if that helps at all.

Now,after i tranafered the money onto it i can't use it on upwork because it says "recent charge failed".
Is there a fix to this bug?

So here is the situation: did some research on term life policies and Google suggested I contact ethos life insurance for a quick and easy quote, so I filled out the info online. Got a call back the next day from an ethos agent who said unless I removed the freeze on my credit they couldn’t get me an accurate quote. So I left it for the time being. About three weeks later, I was cold-called by an independent agent who said he got my info from ethos, who gave me his state license number. He checks out in the State license database as legit. Fast forward over a number of conversations via text and email and we’ve picked a plan and need to sit down today to fill out the application which he wants to do over the phone with esignature. He said I needed to bring my bank account info to this meeting. The vibes felt off for me about this, so I asked him to email me beforehand a digital copy of the application which he did. I noticed on it that there was an option to pay by credit card. In the meeting today, we went through the application which mirrored the one he had emailed me. But when it came time for the payment info, he said my credit card could only be used for the initial premium payment and he definitely still needed my routing and account number for my bank. This allFelt off to me, so I told him I had to run. But now I’m kind of freaking out because the guy has my SSN and a credit card number, and I’m feeling pretty foolish. About 5 hours after the phone call he sent me the following text: “Wasn't sure if giving me your banking info was an issue, im always skeptical myself. If it's better for you, we can do a zoom call and allow u to take over my computer. That way you could put the banking info in yourself and submit the app without having to give me the info. Just a thought I figured I'd run by you. Have a good evening!!”
My instinct is to ghost the dude and hope for the best while monitoring my credit card like a hawk. Not good that he has SSN, but I have credit freezes in place.
So my question for the hive mind is how bad is this? Does this seem normal?

I'm from the US and we have a very strong bond with warming to each other very quickly...we have so many things in common with looks even of hairstyle and personality, my last relationship was from a manipulative person and that toxicity still flows through me with outbursts and getting petty at the smallest things, hes a very sensitive person and q quiet but we were always positive and fixed many mistakes. But he believes hes not reaching expectations which he has without even knowing such as respect, sending giftss, boundries...all the ones from google I saw. When I get angry or passive agressive he goes on hiatus for a week, at first I was worried to death, but it happened again a few months after and the 4th seemed to be his tipping point because hes tired of trying to reach my expectations with disappointment which was over a game stream I missed and he watched it. After that he went on hiatus for a week and when he got back I was asleep and he just says
"I have told you several times in the past that I'm not ready for a relationship. I am tired of feeling guilty of not meeting your expectations. I know who I am and now I have the courage to say it's over. I wish you nothing but the best"
It broke me up so much I couldnt just stare blanky and didn't have the ability to cry, he blocked my friend and me on every platform and disappeared and I still wait for him to come back to make a sencere apology and tell him we both overreacted and wanted to fix the problem so it doesn't happen again...but I just stare at his profile on Discord hoping to see if he comes back online... he's trying to get a job and take care of his parents too which I supported...but I don't know why he did that without explaining anything...as of now I still wait for him I tried to call him, email him...I also sent a card that was meant for a anniverserary which then I wrote a apology on it, I know he is a sweet and kind person but I just can't do this anymore I feel compeltely empty without this person this time were like two peas in a pod.

Hey everyone, just wanted to try my luck here in case anyone has advice for me on what to do. 🥹
I recently moved to Australia and have a Citibank Simplicity PH CC I've been regularly using for online purchases (I receive my OTPs via my Globe roaming number). I made a purchase via Paypal last March 31st - no issues there but UB decided to send me a text 3 days later where I need to confirm my transaction by replying YES/NO. I missed out on this text which led to them blocking my card.
I have tried all means to contact Unionbank on how I can unblock my card and it has been so frustrating. Already tried the ff channels:
  1. E-mail - they said due to security reasons they cannot manually unblock my card via email.
  2. CS Call - tried calling their international toll-free number but it kept saying that the number has already been disconnected.
  3. UB App - tried filing a ticket on the app, cannot submit for some reason.
  4. Twitter - just told me to try email/CS call again
Should I just give up nalang and cut this CC off? Would appreciate if anyone would have an idea what to do from here or if let go ko nalang. Thank you so much! 🩷

Hello, I’m filling out the I-821D form online and I noticed it’s very different from the last time I did it. This is my second time renewing my DACA online, and I wondered if I need to submit all the same documents I did last time. Or was it only because it was the first time online? Documents like birth certificate, copy of Social Security card, copy of my driver’s license and all of that. Is it necessary to provide any of those again? It doesn’t outright ask for any of it, but I don’t want to submit it and then have it be rejected for that.

Im currently learning French on my own, I’m using Duolingo and other online resources like flash cards and YouTube channels. Along with that I’m supplementing my grammar skills with online sources as well.
As of now, I’m just picking a topic on grammar and learning about it as I progress. I’ve had basic familiarity with the language in my 11th and 12th but it’s almost negligible. I do however remember the structure of the grammar a little bit so I’d like to think it’s helping me.
So far I’m at the end of A1 In Duolingo, I think I should be in A2 in a month. I plan on completing all the Duolingo levels asap in the hopes that I will be able to atleast understand talking in tv shows. I am a visual learner so once I’m able to understand most of what’s being said in the movies or shows. I think I can level up my French learning more rapidly.
I am really not sure if Duolingo’s classification reflects the official CEFR language levels but I’m hoping it’s not too far, meaning I expect c1 duo lingo to translate to b1 or b2 French in real life.
Is it a feasible plan ? Or am I completely estimating this incorrectly?
Note: although I’m primarily practicing the language through Duolingo, I’m making own efforts to crack down on the French grammar through textbooks as well. For speaking I plan on using italki and other apps but that’s after I complete all the levels in Duolingo.

Hey all, I'm in university right now and since I want to study abroad soon I figured might as well get a travel card and this one seemed to be recommend often. Here is my stats so if anyone is in the same position. I knew about the in branch SUB for 85,000k but I'm somewhat lazy so just applied online for 75,000k then called right after and they said they'll match me to the in branch... yay for laziness and a W for the Chase reps LOL
FICO: ~750
Instant approval for $7,500 limit.
Current cards:
Income: $36,000 - I put "other" on the application because generally I put student on everything but it seemed Chase didn't have one so I just put other... it worked so yay I guess

Hi
I'll preface by saying my experience is limited to building 2 personal pc's, tinkering with fan/clock speeds, and basic folder sharing between Windows pc's at home. I've never used dockerfiles or linux so far.
The last few weeks I've been trying to read forums and posts, and watch as many guides and explanations as possible to help get my first understandings of home servers. I've reached a point where I am tipping into overwhelmed with possibilities (probably overthinking), and struggling with how I proceed.
I think I'm mostly struggling with how it all connects and how/what software I need to make it easily remote accessible/a cloud server, so help on this front would be great. Thanks in advance.
First idea: I use my Old PC + new HDD's as the servecloud hardware. (Cheaper and ideal in that it uses old parts)
My understanding so far for this is;
  1. I reset the Win 10 operating system on my Old PC
  2. Remove Win bloatware
  3. Set new HDD's to Raid 5 and format
  4. Install Plex media server
  5. Install Steam with games
  6. Install Moonlight/Sunshine for streaming Far Cry 6
  7. Install Immich or Photosync with Photoprism for auto photo backups from mobile phones
  8. ?Designate folder access for other users on the local network?
  9. Tailscale vpn for remote access (never used it before)
  10. ...unsure if i need to do anything else
Second idea: Buy a Synology device and add HDD. This acts as media+photo+file servecloud and remains on 24/7. Old PC gets turned on intermittently to act as GUI for Web browsing+PC gaming on TV. (upfront more expensive, possibly easier to first setup)
Below are some parameters of what I'm trying to do/use.
Functions to perform:
  1. Connect to tv, other pc’s and mobile devices within local home network for access to personal media (movies, music, photos).
  2. Storage of home media, personal documents
  3. Access to web browsing on TV for ad-free viewing instead of using direct aps like YouTube (I imagine i need a GUI for this such as Windows 10)
  4. Infrequent pc gaming on TV (without using my gaming specific pc to stream from. Far cry 6 on low-ish settings but OK fps).
  5. Auto backup/syncing of photos from Mobile phones.
  6. Avoid needing to use public cloud services like Google Photos/Apple iCloud/Microsoft Onedrive as file sharing/backup/remote access.
  7. Be online and accessible 24/7
Note: I’d welcome any tips to reduce noise and wattage profile.

Im a 21 F looking for a job. Im a major introvert and currently working on getting my GED which may take a while due to being dealt with unlucky cards in life..I am trying my best to my ability to get it. The only jobs I have worked at is at a donut place and a gas station in the kitchen. Also I suffer from this weird back issue that prevents me from constantly doing heavy work, ive gone to the doctors and they cant figure out whats wrong with me, I also have scoliosis in my lower back. Where im at now is basically in the middle of no where. Ive been applying to lots of places but keep getting rejected like ai have bad luck. I dont know what to do, im panicking because I have no money, no vehicle, no job, inflation is getting worse, higher taxes now, and so much more. I am at the bottom. I feel like im going to become homeless and lose everything. Sometimes im just thinking “whats the point of living anymore?” I cant seem to find a damn job. Ive been trying to get one for months now. Anyone know a job that would hire someone without a GED and has worked only 2 jobs? Ive tried looking online but theres shit that requires me to pay money to join or has specific qualifications I do not qualify for. I want to help people and maybe even the world but I cant even do that. I dont know what to do, im lost and freaking out. What should I do? Anyone know any jobs possibly, especially for an introvert??
