Best Month So Far

2024.03.02 20:35 ceciliaxyc Best Month So Far

Best Month So Far
February was a win, as I finally managed to fully dedicate myself to this journey. Aiming for at least 150 hours in March (average of 300 minutes daily). I found it hard to focus after 300 minutes.
I found out about DS at the end of October 2023 (way too late) and decided to get serious in January. I logged 50 hours from the start, as I had tried to study twice in the traditional way in 2022 and 2023 and failed both times (self-studied the grammar and registered for a course at a university in Mexico).
I used DS solely until around 240 hours, then I started to listen to podcasts. I used to listen to all accents but now mainly listen to Latino accents since I've just moved to Mexico City. I am watching mostly intermediate videos ranked by difficulty. I am comfortable with videos around 55-60 right now.
Podcasts that I am currently on and able to have 90%+ comprehension:
Chill Spanish (completed) Learn Spanish and Go Español a la Mexicana
I will hit level 4 in 3 days. I plan to start reading earlier at 300 hours and also attend speaking sessions earlier than the roadmap suggests (I don't know when exactly). Living in Mexico now, it is inevitable that I need to read and ask for things daily in Spanish. People really expect me to speak when they know I'm learning Spanish...
For this month, I plan to also mix in some YouTube videos at my level, as one of the biggest problems so far was getting tired of the DS videos daily. Interestingly, I found a couple of channels on real estate, cooking, and travel (mostly with a Mexican accent) comprehensible at my level, and they are fun and engaging, something I love to watch. I will discover more with time.
A bit of background about me: I haven’t learned and never thought I needed to learn another language in my life. And I didn’t know about comprehensible input. Learning a language was always more of a tool for me instead of an interest. Learning Spanish was a total surprise since I discovered Mexico. This would be the 4th language I've learned.
Because it had been such a long time, I forgot how I acquired the other languages in the past... My mother tongue is Mandarin, and I started to learn English in a very traditional way in school. I realized I wasn’t able to speak until I watched lots of TV episodes and immersed myself in a 100% English environment. Now, having lived in a total English environment for almost 15 years, English is almost as native to me as I think, live, and write all in English.
I also learned Japanese the traditional way, as that was my major at University (I forgot my motive for choosing this as my major). I learned it to almost C2 level until I went to Japan. I realized I wasn't able to speak much. But it took me 3 months in Japan to be able to communicate easily in most situations with a really good accent.
Now I realize the only language I acquired through comprehensible input is Cantonese. Although it is the same in written form as Mandarin, it sounds completely different and I wasn't able to understand a word when I first moved to Hong Kong. By living there for a year, I naturally acquired it through listening without learning.
I am very grateful for DS, as I finally found a method that allows me to see my growth daily. It is a reality check for me daily. I find myself understanding more and more daily when I am dealing with people here. I finally have the confidence to be able to make it this time. I was able to learn languages in a very traditional way a while ago and achieved very good accents, but it took a much longer time, and it wasn’t fun and easy. I would never be able to do it again that way.
(Not sure how to do a long post. Tried posted this a few times :)

2024.02.07 01:45 CasaAztecaMX A Sincere Thank You to AEW and Tony Khan from an eternal Lucha Libre aficionado

Greetings, this is my first time posting in this reddit.
I was raised on the sport of Lucha Libre Mexicana since I was a tyke. My first experiences into the genre was watching La Empresa Mexicana de Lucha Libre (EMLL) which is now current day Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre. (CMLL). The tradition, the culture, and the religion of Lucha Libre is so unique as it adheres back to the indigenous traditions of Meso-America including the Aztecs, Toltecs, Zapotecs, and Mayans. The elaborate costumes, the colorful masks, the flowing capes, and even the name of a Luchador holds a deep family and spiritual meaning. Go to any Lucha shop in Mexico and you can see religious candles being sold with the most iconic luchadors in history on them. Heck, I remember being in 2nd grade and our teacher in Art class assigning us to design our own Lucha Masks and outfits. It’s amazing the creativity of what you can do with pencils, crayons, glitter, and glue. The very genre was part of me and my cultural heritage along with my classmates.
When the term “Lucha Libre” is brought up, many fans instantly bring up names like Eddie Guerrero (EPD), La Parka (now L.A. Park), Juventud, Psychosis, Misterio, etc. from the days of AAA-ECW-WCW in the 1990s. That’s beautiful and I know that era brought a lot of excitement for many US fans here.
My baptism into Lucha came with names such as El Santo, Blue Demon, Mil Mascaras, Canek, Dr. Wagner Sr., Angel de Oro, Tineblas, Gory Guerrero, Hurican Ramirez, Black Shadow, Sangre Chicana, El Solitario, Rayo de Jalisco, El Enfermero, Gran Markus etc. just to name a few. Mascaras was my childhood superhero. Saw his match vs. the Destroyer for the US Heavyweight title (it’s on YouTube) in Japan. When Mil comes out of the locker room, Japanese fans literally carry him into the ring with many fans reaching out to touch him. They adored him. I see why so many Japanese stars of yesteryear like Tiger Mask and present day stars like Desperado and Starlight Kid have been heavily influenced by Lucha.
In Mexico, the Holy Trinity of Gods of Lucha Libre are El Santo, Blue Demon, and Mil Mascaras, Period. El Santo is a cultural icon and even has two statues built in his honor; one in his hometown of Tulancingo, Mexico and another in Mexico City. Both Santo and Blue Demon were buried with their masks on when they passed. It’s the highest honor bestowed upon them as they never lost their masks in their careers.
I remember watching all three of them in Mexican Live Actions films as a kid such as "The Mummies of Guanajuato" and "Mystery in Bermuda." They were indeed our Superheroes. The US had Spider Man, Captain America, and Batman. We had El Santo, Blue Demon, and Mil Mascaras.
Fast forward to present day AEW. Never in my lifetime had I seen a US Wrestling Promotion pay such reverence to Lucha Libre the way AEW and especially Tony Khan has. Many other promotions in history were pretty much dismissive of it or viewed it as a sideshow. While I applauded WCW for bringing it in, AEW has taken it to another level that I had never imagined. Seeing Penta and Fenix defeating the Bucks in that epic Steel Cage Match at All Out 2021 and winning the AEW Tag Team Titles brought me to tears. Likewise, seeing ThunderRosa coming out in Dia De Los Muertos facepaint and gear to an all Mariachi band before winning the AEW Women’s Title in San Antonio did the same. The current roster is just a fantastic assortment of talent: Fenix, Penta, Rush, Bandido, Dralistico, Komander and Vikingo when he comes in.
Now, AEW has now brought me full circle to my childhood promotion when they formed a relationship with CMLL. Words really cannot describe how this makes me feel.
What I love about fellow AEW fans is that they are open-minded and want to learn more about Lucha Libre and the multitude of talent in Mexico. The Hechicero match this past Saturday is proof of that. I understand that not every fan is going to like these type of matches, and that’s ok. We all have our preferences. That’s what makes AEW fun. It allows for many different types of wrestling styles worldwide (Puro, Joshi, Lucha etc.) to have a place in AEW. Case in point: I’ve been fan of AEW ever since that very first AEW Dynamite from Washington D.C. in October 2019. The Riho vs Nyla Rose match for the inaugural AEW Women’s Title is what sold me. I was hooked for life after that match. Fell in love with the Joshi style since then.
Lastly, I sincerely want to thank Tony Khan for being a Lucha fan. He gets it. He is a fan down deep. He has taken AEW to places such as San Antonio, Laredo, El Paso, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Austin, Dallas and now Edinburg last Saturday. Tony yelling “PURO 956” to the crowd in Edinburg shows just how real he is. In the 5 years that AEW has been in existence, he has given me more as a fan than the previous 30 years I spent watching other promotions. I am eternally grateful to Tony and AEW. If he decides to do a Supershow with CMLL in Mexico, I'm definitely making the trip.
Thanks to each of you reading this post. I appreciate it. Long live AEW!
PS. Happy to be a newbie here with fellow AEW fans. I hope we can all learn from each others experiences growing up watching wrestling.

2024.02.02 04:25 YoshiCopter Another 300 Hour Update

Another 300 Hour Update
I've been pretty active in this subreddit, but this is my first update post.
Personal Info: 33f in California, Science Teacher turned Stay-At-Home-Parent to a high-needs toddler
Background: In January 2021 I decided I wanted to finally learn Spanish, so I enrolled in a Spanish 1 course at my local community college with the goal of receiving an AA degree in Spanish. That year I completed Spanish 1 and Spanish 2 courses, started meeting with a tutor on italki once a week, and supplemented with traditional workbook-type stuff. I also had developed my own Anki deck with 2500+ cards of my own creation that I reviewed daily.
I started Dreaming Spanish in August 2023. At that time I was enrolled in a Spanish 3 course and was really struggling with listening skills, and I thought Dreaming Spanish would be a good supplement to what I was already doing. By time I wrapped up that course in October I was hooked on Dreaming Spanish and decided to invest as much time as I could inbetween then and the start of Spanish 4 in March 2024. Since October I stopped doing all of "traditional" learning stuff I was doing before and only focused on CI (though I did keep meeting with my tutor).
The Beginning: When I started DS, I only added 50 hours. This was because I didn't quite fit the description for Level 1 and wanted to try to follow the roadmap as much as possible. What's incredible was that even after 1.5+ years of formal Spanish courses, I couldn't follow along with the hardest beginner videos. It was a very humbling experience, but I decided to start at Level 2.
These Days: Now, I am able to comfortably watch videos up to 60-65 level difficulty without too much of a challenge. I have completed Cuéntame, Chill Spanish Listening Practice, and Español a la Mexicana, and I'm now listening to How to Spanish. I am also enjoying watching Rosie's Rules, a show on PBS Kids.
I found hours 225-300 to be very challenging in terms of motivation. It was like I hit a wall, and I couldn't get over it for a long time. I kept looking into the abyss of 1500 hours it all felt like so much. It was also frustrating that I was able to "graduate" from beginner to intermediate but SO much content is still so unaccessible.
Schedule: How much CI I'm able to get in every day varies depending on the day and my current level of hyperfixation. Like many of you apparently, I live with unmedicated ADHD, so I often feel at the mercy of the dopamine levels in my brain. You can almost map out my hyperfocus on the calendar I shared. My daily goals have varied from 30-135 minutes every day.
Speaking: I still meet with my italki tutor every week, but I don't speak Spanish outside of that. We do not practice crosstalk. As of today, I have 68 hours of converation practice. I believe that my accent isn't too bad and have debated posting a video, but that's a bit out of my comfort zone right now.
Summary: My Spanish skills have improved more in the last six months with Dreaming Spanish and comprehensible input than during the 1.5+ years of formal Spanish education I had immediately prior. I am so grateful for Pablo and his amazing team and for this awesome community that we have built together. Thank you all so much!

2023.11.17 17:23 picky-penguin 500 Hour Update

Background
I decided to learn Spanish in January 2022. I was 52 at the time and live in Seattle. I lived in Canada until I was 33. So, I had no formal education in Spanish (took French in Canada) and no experience in Spanish other than what you pick up living in the US. I have no Hispanic family. I decided I wanted to learn Spanish as I viewed it as a great American language. With the USA being the second largest Spanish speaking country in the world I figured I was missing something by not being able to understand Spanish. Also, I have a love of travel and want to spend significant time in the future in the Latin American countries.
Goals
Quite simply I want to understand and be understood. That's it. I want to be able to consume native media. To read the great books and to watch the shows. I want to be able to understand native Spanish speakers and have them understand me. I am not terribly fussed with accent. I know I will never be mistaken for a native speaker. I do want to be sure my pronunciation is good enough so I am understood.
The Beginning
Once I decided to learn Spanish I Googled around a bit to find the best way. I found CI really quickly and was fascinated. From there I found DS and started in on Super Beginner videos. I did not track my hours at all. At first, the Super Beginner input was all I could really understand. I switched my Spotify to Spanish just to keep the sounds of Spanish in my ears with music when I got tired.
300 - 500 Hours
This is when I joined DS and started tracking my hours. The hours up to 300 is an estimation but feels about right. Since joining DS and tracking the hours I have found that I am more focussed and improving more. Worth it!
I spend a lot of time with podcasts. Español a la mexicana, How to Spanish, Español Intermedio, Español con Juan, Hoy Hablemos, Polaquines, etc. Anytime I am walking or driving alone I have my headphones in and am listening. My daily goal is 75 minutes and I am averaging 90 minutes per day.
I spend some time with YouTubers. Alex Tienda, Planeta Juan, Oaxaqueño News on CORTV, Mexicana en Arabia, etc. I find that if the content is focussed then I can understand it pretty well.
I am not quite ready for more advanced content but I keep trying. Negra y Criminal, The Wild Project, and El Hilo are all on my list. I try them every month or so to see. It's getting better but not there yet.
Other Thoughts
This is a solitary journey for sure. It is a lot of time spent alone, listening. I have the support of my wonderful wife which helps so much. She does not mind when we're walking and I put in my headphones. She understands that I have to get my CI in. I could not do it without her understanding.
I'll get to 600 hours right around the 2 year mark. The journey is slow for me but I have a demanding full time job and a family I like. So, there is only so much time I am willing to dedicate. That's ok. I will get there. I am patient and tenacious.
At 500 hours I am still 100% focused on listening. I have dabbled in reading and speaking but listening is where my focus is. I think I will start reading at 700 hours or so? Not sure.
I can understand Spanish now. Wow. I was at a church touristing in New Orleans this week and some of the stuff was written in Spanish. A docent came over and asked "can you read Spanish" I said yes as I could totally understand what was written. I translated it for my wife and we moved on. It feels so amazing that I can do that.
I now have no doubt that I will speak Spanish well in the future. This is amazing to me. While the future is uncertain (what about the grammar? how will I transition to speaking? will I really be able to speak well? do I need to live in a Spanish speaking country for a while?) I am fully invested in speaking Spanish.
I am very surprised how much I have enjoyed these two years. I love it. I have learned so much. Not just the language but the culture, the music (went and saw Maná when they came to Seattle in the summer. It was awesome!), the geography, the world views, etc. I consume all my news in Spanish (I love Telemundo's Noticias de Hoy podcast) and get such a different view of the news. My wife puts up with my constant commenting about this or that in Spanish "Hey, did you hear about what's going on in Argentina with Milei?" She sighs and listens.
A special note of thanks to the passion of all the CI content creators. Without them I would not be at this level. I am so grateful.

2023.10.14 14:00 Overall_Rise_6370 Mexican food in Indio

I think I have found the most Americanized and also most authentic comida mexicana in Indio. Went to Pueblo Viejo 111- lots of old gringos and snowbirds. Tacos have iceberg lettuce and grated cheese- you would never see that in Mexico. Then theres Tacos 760 where you can get birria and pozole and clientele is largely latino. Also good . Thoughts?

2023.08.08 17:39 Practical_Culture833 Mexicana Khachapuri Recipe:

My OC
Mexicana Khachapuri Recipe:
Ingredients for Mexicana Khachapuri: - 2 cups all-purpose flour - 1 teaspoon instant yeast - 1 teaspoon sugar - 1/2 teaspoon salt - 1/2 cup warm milk - 2 tablespoons vegetable oil - 1 cup Mexican Oaxaca cheese, grated - 1 cup Mexican queso fresco, crumbled - 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped - 1 jalapeño pepper, finely diced (optional) - 1/2 cup red onion, finely chopped - 2 tablespoons Mexican chorizo, cooked and crumbled (optional) - 2 eggs (1 for the filling, 1 for the egg wash) - Chili con carne (optional)
Ingredients for Salsa de Ajika: - 2 red bell peppers, roasted, peeled, and deseeded - 2 jalapeño peppers, roasted, peeled, and deseeded - 4 cloves garlic, roasted - 1 tablespoon Georgian ajika paste - 1 tablespoon lime juice - 1 tablespoon olive oil - Salt and pepper to taste
Alternative Salsa Option: - Your favorite salsa or hot sauce
Instructions:
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, instant yeast, sugar, and salt. Mix well.
  2. Add the warm milk and vegetable oil to the bowl. Stir until the ingredients come together to form a dough.
  3. Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for 1-2 hours or until it doubles in size.
  5. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  6. In a mixing bowl, combine the Oaxaca cheese, queso fresco, 1 beaten egg, cilantro, jalapeño pepper, red onion, and cooked chorizo (if using). Mix well.
  7. Once the dough has risen, divide it into two equal portions. Roll out each portion into a circular shape, approximately 1/4-inch thick.
  8. Place half of the cheese mixture in the center of one of the dough circles, leaving a well in the middle for the egg. Crack an egg into the well.
  9. Fold the edges of the dough over the cheese and egg to form a boat-like shape. Repeat with the other portion of dough and cheese mixture.
  10. Transfer both khachapuris to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  11. In a small bowl, beat the remaining egg and brush it over the exposed dough of the khachapuris. This will give them a golden color when baked.
  12. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the crust turns golden brown and the egg is cooked to your desired level of doneness.
  13. While the khachapuris are baking, prepare either the Salsa de Ajika or the alternative salsa option: a. For the Salsa de Ajika, in a blender or food processor, combine the roasted red bell peppers, roasted jalapeño peppers, roasted garlic, ajika paste, lime juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Blend until smooth. b. If you prefer an alternative salsa, simply use your favorite salsa or hot sauce to serve with the khachapuris.
  14. Once the khachapuris are ready, remove them from the oven and let them cool slightly. Serve them with either the Salsa de Ajika or the alternative salsa on the side.
  15. Optionally, you can also serve chili con carne as atopping for the Mexicana Khachapuri.
  16. If you choose to include chili con carne, prepare it according to your favorite recipe or use a pre-made chili con carne sauce. Heat it up and keep it warm.
  17. Slice the khachapuris and serve them warm.
  18. For the Salsa de Ajika option, drizzle the Salsa de Ajika over the khachapuris or serve it on the side as a dipping sauce. The ajika salsa will add a tangy and spicy flavor to the dish.
  19. If you prefer the alternative salsa option, serve it on the side as a dipping sauce or pour it over the khachapuris for a different flavor profile.
  20. If using chili con carne, spoon a generous amount over the sliced khachapuris or serve it on the side for individuals to add as desired.
  21. Enjoy the Mexicana Khachapuri with your preferred salsa option or chili con carne topping, dipping the crust into the egg yolk for a delicious combination of flavors.
During the 2008 Russo-Georgian War, a war between Georgia, on one side, and Russia and the Russian-backed self-proclaimed republics of South Ossetia and Abkhazia, on the other, the Mexican people selflessly volunteered to aid Georgia in protecting its territorial integrity from Russian aggression, and a beautiful cultural fusion emerged as a symbol of solidarity and friendship. This fusion took form in the creation of the Volunteer Khachapuri with a Mexican twist.
As Mexican volunteers arrived in Georgia, they brought with them their vibrant culinary traditions and flavors. Inspired by the iconic Adjarian Khachapuri, a dish that holds great cultural significance for the Georgians, the Mexican volunteers sought to create a dish that showcased the harmonious blend of their own culinary heritage with Georgian ingredients.
The volunteers combined the traditional techniques of Georgian bread-making with Mexican flavors and ingredients. The dough, made from scratch with all-purpose flour, instant yeast, and warm milk, was carefully kneaded until it became smooth and elastic. This process mirrored the dedication and hard work of both the Mexican and Georgian people in their joint mission.
To infuse the dish with Mexican flavors, the volunteers incorporated two types of Mexican cheese—Oaxaca cheese and queso fresco. These cheeses provided a rich and creamy texture, complemented by the slight tanginess of Mexican crema. Fresh cilantro added a burst of herbal freshness, while jalapeño pepper and red onion brought a hint of spiciness and crunch.
In a symbolic gesture, the volunteers decided to place a whole egg in the center of each Khachapuri, reminiscent of the original Adjarian Khachapuri. This represented the unbroken spirit of unity and shared experiences between the Mexican volunteers and the Georgian people. The egg, with its golden yolk, symbolized hope and new beginnings.
While the Volunteer Khachapuri baked to perfection, the volunteers prepared a Salsa de Ajika, inspired by the traditional Georgian condiment. Roasted red bell peppers, jalapeño peppers, and garlic were blended together with Georgian ajika paste, lime juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper. This vibrant and flavorful salsa complemented the Khachapuri, adding a spicy kick and a touch of acidity.
As the Volunteer Khachapuri emerged from the oven, its golden crust and perfectly cooked egg showcased the successful fusion of Mexican and Georgian culinary traditions. The aroma filled the air, signifying the coming together of two nations in a shared culinary adventure.
(Reminder this story is based off a real event but with a fantasy twist. In this case the Mexican volunteers)

Dynamite #092: Fyter Fest - Night One
Neal S. Blaisdell Center (Honolulu, Hawaii)
July 7th 2021

Riho vs Hikaru Shida II
As Fyter Fest finally lives up to the original inspiration for its name, AEW hits the islands of Hawaii for a summertime extravaganza! And with the Sun burning bright, what better way to start with two women from the Land of the Rising Sun as Riho and Hikaru Shida square off in an ALL OUT 2019 rematch! The inaugural AEW Women’s World Champion taking time off after being chucked off the stage by Jamie Hayter back at Beach Break, she’s since returned to try find her spot again among the constantly growing roster, struggling even more so with all the external talents flowing in and out.
The Shining Samurai able to relate to that, having been swinging her trusty kendo stick through the swathes of oncoming traffic, Hikaru currently finds herself on the race to 50 Wins, wanting to be the first woman in AEW history to do so. Paying a visit to old losses along the way like Riho did before her challenge of Priestley, Shida finds herself knocking on Riho’s door, resulting in an exciting Round Two between two much more mature competitors. Riho does her best to replicate her past success, going for her unique flash pin again to try catch Shida out, but Hikaru’s waited too long for this one, scouting it this time by reversing into one of her, pinning down Riho’s shoulders for 3 off the Shidax Ace to inch closer to 50!
Hikaru Shida def. Riho (12:50)

AAA Mega Championship: Andrade El Idolo (c) vs PAC
After going 4-0 on PPV in 2020, 2021 has been the enemy of the Bastard, losses at both Revolution and Double Or Nothing driving him up the wall. Not allowing Andrade El Idolo to sneak off into the night without a receipt, he haunts La Sombra until he finally grants him a shot at the AAA Mega Championship, PAC adamant to return to his World Title status with the title back in Death Triangle’s grasp. The Lucha Brothers especially keep an eye on the bout, Penta El Zero Miedo slightly upset he didn’t even get a 1-on-1 rematch for the title that was his, and Rey Fenix still continuing to be overshadowed by his leader and his older brother, yet the two keep mum, letting PAC cook. And cook the Black Arrow does, producing an absolute barnburner against the fellow former NXT Champion, the two insane athletes letting every bit of their aerial gifts do the talking for them much like that Rampage duology they’d go on to have in real life. As PAC releases the Brutaliser to try one up Andrade, going for his pride and joy, the Black Arrow… El Idolo catches him out with a Draping La Sombra, covering the cocky PAC for 3!
Andrade El Idolo (c) def. PAC to retain the AAA Mega Championship (16:20)

Drew Gulak vs Bryan Danielson
Whilst Orange Cassidy was ultimately apathetic towards his loss to Miro, Drew Gulak took it very hard, forlorn knowing he failed his Best Friends. Chuck Taylor, Trent Beretta, Kris Statlander, the Freshly Squeezed, and even Sue, all try their best to cheer up the Coach, pointing to all the other great teachings he’s given them that’ve more than done their trick, but Drew is too miserable to even fake a smile. Still, he thanks his friends for trying, but tells them he needs some space for the time being to figure out where it all went wrong. Putting together a new multi-step plan, he takes Lexi Nair’s words to heart and begins working on himself, painting over where his methods are archaic with novel, untested ideas and undergoing rigorous training. Still needing to beta test it all however, there’s only one man on the planet he knows he can do that against. One of his former students, the last man he worked on to great success before he himself was let go by WWE, the one who went to a draw against the World Champion, Bryan Danielson!
Though the Best in the World has returned to more of his arrogant ROH self, and rightfully so, angry over being swept to the side in contention for being the best damn wrestler on the planet, he still doesn’t overlook Gulak no matter the small fry he might seem to some others, agreeing to fight him as he looks to get reps in of his own to climb up the AEW Rankings and challenge Kenny again. Much like their banger at Elimination Chamber, these two very much do bring out the best in each other, Danielson pushing Gulak harder and harder to summon the same man who held the TNT Championship, and the University City Stretcher returning the favour to ensure the American Dragon’s ready to beat Kenny in under 30 minutes the next time they fight. The greatest technical wrestler alive managing to display where Gulak’s new strategies work perfectly and where holes can be poked through them, the ultimately partly-flawed techniques of Drew end up costing him as a Cattle Mutilation taps him out! Whilst Danielson walks off to celebrate, Gulak’s approached by none other than Dean Malenko after the match, who extends a hand to Drew, Gulak accepting!
Bryan Danielson def. Drew Gulak (13:33)

TNT Championship: Eddie Kingston (c) vs Chris Jericho
If there’s one thing the loss to The Young Bucks told Chris Jericho, it’s that he may not have all that much time left in his wrestling career, having lost every single of his major matches for the past year. Wanting to tick off every box before that does become a reality, whenever that may be, he jumps at the chance to challenge the new TNT Champion Eddie Kingston for his belt! Though the Mad King loathes what Y2J stands for, he at least has respect for the hustle the legend’s been putting himself through lately, not turning down a chance to dance with a 7x World Champion, knowing what it’d do for his own stock. Jericho giving Eddie a class performance like his old days fighting over the Intercontinental Championship he became so synonymous with, for the better part of a quarter hour it’s like the clocks have been turned back, Chris truly bringing it to Kingston, yet the ending never changes, his old body unable to keep up with the new generation as a Uraken takes him out!
Eddie Kingston (c) def. Chris Jericho to retain the TNT Championship (12:24)

NWA World Women’s Championship: Ivelisse (c) vs Mickie James
With Las Sicarias shooting up the ranks of the Women’s Division like a rocket and burning anything they touch to crisp like a wildfire, NWA World Women’s Champion Ivelisse lets the prestige of her title get to her head as Diamante and Thea Trinidad constantly hype up the group’s top asset. As such, the classic tale of the youth rising up to clean out the cobwebs left by the past who paved their roads ensues as Ivelisse starts making rounds through those crucial to the 21st century of women’s wrestling all while asserting herself as more influential, SHINE Championship over one shoulder and NWA belt over the other. Taking umbrage with that is free agent Mickie James, who makes a shocking appearance on AEW TV after having been recording multiple victories over in NWA, stepping up to the bully! Smugly accepting, though only after Las Sicarias jump Mickie, the Huntress makes her grandest defence yet against the 9x Women’s Champion, a Mick Kick making Ivelisse eat her words for a good couple seconds as James bags a nail-biting close count! Mickie continuing to put Ivelisse through the wringer, it takes her putting the brakes on a Stratusfaction to score a Desert Eagle to put James beneath her!
Ivelisse (c) def. Mickie James to retain the NWA World Women’s Championship (12:56)

If Page wins, the AEW World Championship ban is reversed back to Rhodes: Cody Rhodes vs “Hangman” Adam Page II [Texas Deathmatch]
After playing the longest con ever, having Cody Rhodes sincerely believe he had his old friend back despite abusing and manipulating him throughout last year’s Summer, it’s the American Nightmare who ate his just desserts when “Hangman” Adam Page ripped the AEW World Championship out from under him. Cody’s stipulation of Special Guest Referee backfiring, losing his entire stable in the process, the lonely once more Rhodes is livid as ever, promising to hurt Adam and have his revenge. Unlike ALL OUT though, Hangman isn’t the same insecure boy he was, in need of a genuine friend to turn to. This Page is not only his own made man, but also still the humble Hangman he’s always been, not overlooking the importance of surrounding himself with good people, electing to associate himself with The Dark Order at long last. After having been forced to take Rhodes’ World Title challenge ban for himself for 10 straight months, Hangman finally gets a chance at the light as the stipulation of a reversal is stamped on the encounter, with the two set to duel under a stipulation Cody’s father, Dusty Rhodes, has endless experience under – a Texas Deathmatch!
With all the history leading into this one, it’s every bit as personal as can be expected between two loathing former friends, Hangman adamant for revenge after being cheated out of everything he loves by someone he once called a brother, and a jealous Cody wanting to take Page down with him for ruining the only thing he cared about. Painting the sands of Honolulu red, Rhodes and Page make each other bleed buckets, Cody doing everything his father did in these matches yet with own villainous twist, whilst Page is very much the sympathetic babyface he’s always been. Whipped and strangled by a bullrope, he refuses to give in, Rhodes also rising back up from a Cracker Barrell off the apron through tables! As Cody yells at Page to give up in the Figure-Four Leg Lock like Ric Flair used to do to his father, a bit of poetic justice reveals itself as Hangman rolls over to reverse the pressure to make Cody release, and as he gets up, a BUCKSHOT LARIAT awaits him, followed by the Hangman’s Noose being used on Rhodes… CODY SURRENDERING! HANGMAN HAS BEEN FREED FROM THE BAN!
As Page toasts to Hawaii and is carried off by The Dark Order, Rhodes is an emotional wreck, at the lowest he’s ever been in his life… and yet, he can still get lower. As the lights in the arena cut out, having done so earlier in the night too in what was blamed on a possible technical fault with holding an event on an island of all places, it turns out there’s very much an explainable cause behind them. Coming back on, MALAKAI BLACK IS STANDING IN THE RING!!! BLACK MASS TO CODY!!! Cody flopping down to the mat once more, slack-jawed, a new force has arrived in AEW!

Chris Jericho vs Jungle Boy II
Though failing in both his Tag and TNT Title conquests, Jericho has nothing better to do than keep hustling as the Jericho Cruise roams around Hawaii. Chris down on his luck, he’s offered a bit of cheering up by Christian Cage, who brings along one of the youngsters he’s been imparting advice to lately, suggesting Jericho and Jungle Boy to have a rematch from the 10-minute challenge they had back in the day during Chris’s peak as AEW World Champion. Seeing no harm in the experiment to see how much the two have changed since then, Y2J takes on Jack Perry with Jurassic Express taking note from outside. It’s very much a friendly bout even with Chris’s ruthless aggression, getting the Tarzan Boy to show his motivation after his recent of many ‘almosts’ much like Jericho himself. As Chris tries for the Walls, Perry has him scouted, countering into the Snare Trap instead to make the Man of 1,004 Holds shockingly tap!
Jungle Boy def. Chris Jericho (12:13)

TNT Championship: Eddie Kingston (c) vs Ricky Starks
Since the forced split of The Four Horsemen, the uber-popular Ricky Starks has had no issue landing on his own two feet, knowing Cody had been holding him back in favour of the Hangman that’d go on to betray him back. Though the Horsemen days certainly helped the Stroke Daddy be presented as a major star to AEW’s public, no more chains to hold him down is equally just as great for the man as he shows of his singles potential. Building a head of steam in recent weeks, he tosses his own name into the hat after Jericho’s loss to Eddie, challenging fellow hustler Kingston for his strap in hopes of replicating his own NWA World Television Championship success! No longer confined to the 6 minutes and 5 seconds formula of his old promotion, he gets to show off his repertoire in the best way possible here, giving Kingston another tough challenge, but Eddie’s grinded much too long and much too hard to let anything take him down this soon, a Backfist to the Future counter to the Spear landing him a clean retention! Parading around with his belt with a grin, shouting to the cameras to keep them coming week after week, it seems he’s spoken too soon…
As Team FTW’s music hits, Brian Cage and Powerhouse Hobbs circle the Mad King like hyenas, Eddie immediately getting into defensive stance, ready to take them on right here and now, only they’re far from his biggest problem… A MEMBER OF THE CROWD BARRELS KINGSTON OVER FROM BEHIND!!! Dribbling his skull off the mat with stiff punches, they hurl him onto the top turnbuckle, Eddie trying his best to kick them away, but it’s no hope after a turnbuckle as a MUSCLE BUSTER BRINGS HIM CRASHING DOWN!!! IT’S HONOLULU’S OWN SAMOA JOE!!! A Team FTW hoodie on and Taz applauding him from commentary, the constantly revolving door of Taz’s meaty group seems to have found its replacement for Chris Hero, and he wants the TNT Championship!
Eddie Kingston (c) def. Ricky Starks to retain the TNT Championship (12:36)

Nyla Rose vs Jamie Hayter
Since removing herself from the shadow of Bea Priestley, it’s as though door after door of opportunities have swung open for Jamie, who puts in the work as a singles star to cement herself as the threat the world has always known her to be. The former SWA World Champion’s win streak causing former AEW Women’s World Champion Nyla Rose to get on her tail, a hard-hitting clash between two of the more physical women of the division is made, one of their streaks certain to fall apart here! The Native Beast lives up to the tales as she makes Jamie’s other wins look like child play the way she hurls Hayter around, suffocating the Brit with her strength and presence. But Rose isn’t the only tough woman in the room. Swinging back with haymakers and lariats, one Hayterade has Nyla fighting for her balance, before a second completely sweeps her off her feet, Hayter scoring the huge win!
Jamie Hayter def. Nyla Rose (10:07)

Bryan Danielson vs Chris Hero
He may still be the Independent God, but compared to where he was one year ago, beating up Kenny Omega and challenging for the AEW World Championship, Chris Hero is very much down on his luck since his exile from Team FTW. Nevertheless, his career reading the two things the American Dragon wants most in the world right now, he becomes target practice for Danielson, forcing the veteran to pull himself together against one of his career rivals. Instantly there’s a different look on Chris’s face than there’s been in recent months when he finds himself in Bryan’s crosshairs again, Danielson sparking a fire within Hero to clobber the head in of the man with a winning record over him, though the very one he had the last laugh over back in 2009. Doing his best to protect the one thing he has going for himself over the Best in the World, Chris makes Danielson hike higher than he’s ever had to before for a win like this, but alas, no amount of elbows can subdue Bryan as he rains down his own Crucifix Elbows to beat Hero by stoppage!
Bryan Danielson def. Chris Hero (13:55)

AEW Women’s World Championship: Deonna Purrazzo (c) vs Hikaru Shida
With Hikaru having racked victory after victory after victory as of late in her pursuit of the big 50, she naturally soars up the rankings at the same time too, and before she knows it, she’s in perfect position to be Deonna Purrazzo’s next challenger! Arguably the most anticipated interpromotional match of the women’s division since the partnership was first announced, the Virtuosa and the Shining Samurai show off exactly why there’s every reason for that to be the case as they tear the house down in another of Shida’s famed AJW-derivate wars. Deonna’s as savage as ever working the Fujiwara Armbar as she furthers her mission of beating down every last woman in AEW’s locker room to cement IMPACT’s superiority, though Hikaru continues to make that increasingly difficult for her, evading the Piledriver, wrestling out the Armbar, and sending Deonna to cuckoo land with a Three Count that bobbles her head! When Hikaru tries the Avalanche Falcon’s Arrow though, a counter into a Queen’s Gambit off the top right into a Venus de Milo has Shida suffering a setback on her road!
Deonna Purrazzo (c) def. Hikaru Shida to retain the AEW Women’s World Championship (14:41)

AEW World Championship: Kenny Omega (c) vs Darby Allin II
A rematch that’s been begged for since the two met at Nightmare On Elite Street, Darby Allin ousting Kenny Omega in the Semi Finals of the Winter Is Coming Eliminator Tournament in his first real showing he can genuinely hang as a main event star, it finally comes to fruition off the back of some of the hardest fought wins in the Daredevil’s career! Going through Anarchy in the Arena to a frenzied Fatal Four-Way to a Cage of Death, it’s all worth it for the goal of holding the beautiful platinum belt over his head, Allin making every second count in this sequel to their first classic. Whilst he was still a fledgling Darby then trying to make a name against a Kenny on the doorstep of God Mode, getting his face understandably caved in as a result even in victory, this Allin manages to have a much more even encounter against Omega, pushing Kenny into far more pinfall predicaments as the likes of the Coffin Drop, Last Supper, and Springboard Moonsault all catch him out!
Shocking Kenny by absorbing an entire V-Trigger to fly back with a Shotgun Dropkick, Allin attempts another Coffin Drop, only for the V-Trigger to the back of his head to stun him! Getting ready to scoop Darby up as customary, Omega pauses for a second as he looks down at Allin’s positioning… AND HE DECIDES TO HIT THE KAMIGOYE! One Winged Angel following suit, and Omega records a third fantastic defence to his incredible reign! And as he stands tall on the turnbuckles… out walks Hangman! Page’s interference in the first version to this very match resulting in their Full Gear meeting, Adam stood by this time to let Kenny prove himself on his own. Now though, with Hangman eligible once more to challenge for Omega’s belt, it could only be a matter of time before they meet again!

Dynamite #095: Fight For The Fallen
Fifth Third Arena (Cincinnati, Ohio)
July 28th 2021

The Elite (Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks, The Good Brothers) vs “Hangman” Adam Page & The Dark Order (Evil Uno, Stu Grayson, John Silver, Alex Reynolds) [Elimination]
It was only inevitable. Meeting properly on the Dynamite after the Hawaii tour, #1 Ranked Adam Page gets right up in Kenny Omega’s face to a raucous ovation, laying down the challenge for The Cleaner’s belt! He doesn’t come alone either, bringing the full force of The Dark Order too to equalise The Elite standing in Omega’s corner, who think twice about getting into a fight with the gauntlet that’s about to be laid down. With Hangman not only requesting shots for himself but also his friends for The Young Bucks’ titles, Omega grants him it on one condition. At Fight For The Fallen, their two factions will meet in a 5v5, and if Page and his pals win, they can feast to their heart’s content. But if they lose… Hangman’s shot is voided! Turning to The Dark Order, who plead him not to worry about them, his success also their success, able to wait for their time to come later, Hangman refuses to listen, either going the full distance with his friends or all of them stay home!
Accepting Kenny’s offer as Omega sneers, the most important match of Hangman’s life kicks off the night! Every bit the match that’d happen in real life, from the Cowboy video package to the incredible emotional drama between the sides, the only difference sees Page have his Shawn Michaels Survivor Series 2003 moment here, fighting off a 3-on-1 to take down both The Young Bucks, getting them back for all the grief they’d put Page through. Just as he’s finished with Matt Jackson though, a Low Blow behind the referee’s back as they’re rolling out the Buck and a One Winged Angel costs Hangman the match after a valiant effort, but in the process, loses him everything as the dastardly Kenny cackles…
The Elite def. The Dark Order (25:35)

TNT Championship: Eddie Kingston (c) vs Wardlow
With Samoa Joe on Eddie Kingston’s case, the Mad King grows much more protective of his baby, watching his back for another jump from the Samoan Submission Machine, only to bump into Wardlow instead! Mr. Mayhem having been soloing it for the past few weeks after MJF was murdered at Darby’s hands, he wishes to see what he can do without Friedman’s breath on his neck, having seen the wonders being cut loose has done for the likes of Ricky Starks and Jamie Hayter. Accepting, recognising it as a chance to get some revenge on Friedman in the process, Kingston puts on a fantastic hoss fight against Wardlow, serving as crucial preparation for whenever Joe eventually decides to strike again. And unlike his past matches, Wardlow clearly performs on an entirely different level to when he had Friedman calling the shots, displaying how he truly wrestles in his own style. Having Kingston in a bad way, Wardlow gets ready to tee up the Powerbomb Symphony… ONLY FOR MJF’S MUSIC TO HIT!
Friedman soaking up the crowd’s boos as he starts cutting a promo mid-Wardlow match, trashing on Page for his loss earlier in the night and assuring that he’ll be Omega’s challenger come ALL OUT, his grating voice serves as enough of a distraction for Wardlow to eat the Backfist to the Future by surprise, Eddie pinning Mr. Mayhem for 3! Holding his TNT Championship high to smack talk an approaching Friedman, who slides into the ring to continue cutting his promo whilst Kingston walks out, Wardlow appears LIVID at Maxwell, but as the Salt of the Earth gives him a cheesy smile and asks his buddy what’s wrong, questioning if Wardlow thinks MJF’s told any lies thus far, the behemoth once more just has to bite his tongue as he eyes the ring on Friedman’s hand that’s gripping the microphone tightly…
Eddie Kingston (c) def. Wardlow to retain the TNT Championship (10:45)

Team FTW (Samoa Joe, Brian Cage, Powerhouse Hobbs) vs SoCal Uncensored
With Eddie continuing to rack up wins, Samoa Joe looks to get himself on the board as he makes his debut in a Trios Tag against a group of men he knows all too well. One third of legendary 5* Unbreakable 2005 Triple Threat alongside Joe himself, Christopher Daniels. Fellow ex-UPW star and multi-time opponent all over TNA, Frankie Kazarian. And last but not least, a man as attuned to the PWG system as he is himself, Scorpio Sky. With all that history to work off of, it’s like not a single day has gone by since the prime of Joe’s career, tearing it up against the trio with his new friends in a fast-paced banger. Though SCU continue to show their significance to the AEW roster as gatekeepers, pushing Joe and co. unlike a different debut opponent could have, it’s ultimately a disappointing night for the boys of SoCal, a Coquina Clutch ruthlessly tapping out Daniels as Joe taps his wrist like a watch to the camera mid-hold, sending a message to Kingston!
Team FTW def. SoCal Uncensored (10:22)

Cody Rhodes vs Malakai Black
As if Cody’s American nightmare couldn’t get any worse, losing a World Title match, losing his stable, being banned from World Title contention after losing to his enemy, he’s now being hunted down by the Devil himself for his sins. Malakai Black choosing Cody as his outlet to release his frustrations with being shackled up in the mental facility for so long, it’s exactly the debut he’d have in real life, the delusional Rhodes having stars circle his head from each sickening strike from the Anti-Hero. A Black Mass sending Cody through a table and another nailing him inside the ring, he’s finally been absolved for his misdeeds by AEW’s new definition of a nightmare.
Malakai Black def. Cody Rhodes (4:42)

AAA Reina de Reinas Championship: Thunder Rosa (c) vs Tay Conti
Since inching even closer to the AEW Women’s World Championship with a phenomenal challenge back in April, Thunder Rosa’s continued to make the most of AEW’s international partnerships, splitting her time between IMPACT, Mexico, and Japan to bring value to the crest she’s held for the past 4 months. Visiting back home to AEW with ALL OUT season on the horizon, she brings glad tidings in the form of a shot for the significantly improved Tay Conti, who’s been using her position alongside the rejuvenated Dark Order to push herself and Anna Jay further up the roster’s ranks. Representing her own Latina heritage against La Mera Mera, it’s an entertaining bout between the current face of Mexicana wrestling and a potential future top star to carry South America’s name on her back. Conti playing to her Judo and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu backgrounds, it’s a very MMA-inspired showdown, Rosa having to pick up her own slack in the striking department. As she manages to survive Tay’s onslaught, La Rosa picks off another challenger from the list!
Thunder Rosa (c) def. Tay Conti to retain the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship (9:56)

The Switchblade Conspiracy (Jon Moxley & Sami Callihan) vs BULLET CLUB (Jay White & KENTA) [Lights Out]
After months of taunting and teasing the IWGP United States Champion, who Jay White happens to hold a prior victory over from 2019’s G1 Climax, the IMPACT World Champion finally gets what he wanted as he steps into the ring with AEW’s Ace! Unfortunately for The Switchblade though, Jon Moxley comes as a package deal with the man that’s been wanting to whoop Jay for desecrating his company’s top title, Sami Callihan wanting White’s blood! Recently winning a King of the Mountain match at Slammiversary to put himself next in-line following Jay’s retention over Eddie Edwards, this serves as a preview to what’s sure to be a massacre as BULLET CLUB’s Leader brings his own back-up in the form of KENTA! The reunited Switchblade Conspiracy putting out a Lights Out challenge to the Switchblade himself following White’s defeat of Mox’s friend Eddie, it leads to a violent conclusion to AEW’s stop in the Death Rider’s hometown and The Draw’s homestate of Cincinnati, Ohio!
Mox & Sami teaching their entitled foes a lesson in ultraviolence, the BULLET CLUB members manage to adapt rather well to the Western sport of beating each other over the head with a brick until one quits, the feuding sides truly letting every last drop of animosity be wringed out into their work through weapon after weapon after weapon! Callihan bringing out his exploding barbed wire slugger, he takes a swing for White, only for the Knife Pervert to duck and ran, Sami catching KENTA in the face instead! With the Black Sun blinded, a Paradigm Shift onto glass from his former US Title foe Moxley hands the win to the Ohioans as Jay curses up a storm at Sami, promising to kill him when they next meet!
The Switchblade Conspiracy def. BULLET CLUB (19:23)

Dynamite #096: Homecoming
Capital One Arena (Washington, District of Columbia)
August 4th 2020

Ahead of the most ambitious of North American crossover shows in history, Homecoming serves as a preview to what’ll sure to be a bombastic night, featuring any missed opportunities to get certain stars a spot on the insanely stacked card as AEW returns to the sight of the first-ever Dynamite!

Bryan Danielson vs Minoru Suzuki
With the American Dragon using his freedom to have as many matches he’s missed out on whilst being in WWE as possible, he gets to have arguably one of the most anticipated ones to open the show as he fights Minoru Suzuki! Facing off 17 years prior during the infancy of Bryan Danielson’s career, the long-awaited rematch is everything that’s ever been wanted between the two, having the shootfest they’d have in real life October here. Danielson standing up to the Most Dangerous Man in the World and living to tell the tale, the Busaiku Knee Kick sends the Murder Grandpa back to Japan with a bleeding jaw, but a content grin, the sadist living off the welts he’s left behind on Danielson’s bloody chest.
Bryan Danielson def. Minoru Suzuki (17:18)

FTR vs The North
Rather than splitting themselves across two different promotions to pursue their singles runs, Ethan Page and Josh Alexander continue existing under the IMPACT roof together, one of the most thrilling tag teams of recent memory going nowhere even with Josh’s X-Division pursuits. Getting to have the match they’ve always desired since becoming a team here, they square off against FTR, who’ve returned to doing what they do best since the collapse of the Horsemen, feasting on other tag teams to fuel their own pursuits of being the greatest. With both teams only growing better since their incredible tag reigns in their respective companies, they very much tear the house down here, with a Big Rig spelling goodnight for Ethan!
FTR def. The North (14:21)

IMPACT Knockouts Tag Team Championship: Decay (Havok & Rosemary) (c) vs Las Sicarias (Diamante & Thea Trinidad)
Ivelisse not the only one having wanted gold around her waist, the other two members of Las Sicarias target the recently revived IMPACT Knockouts Tag Team Championship, currently held by Havok and one of IMPACT’s most important knockouts of the past half decade, Rosemary, as Thea Trinidad looks to finally hold gold in her old home, elevating Diamante alongside her in the process. A short and snappy almost cinematic showcase of the champion’s skills, Decay let their supernatural freakiness do the talking as Thea sells every last bit of it with her brilliant facial work, whilst the Cuban Diamond channels her fearlessness to push on. After an entertaining little sprint, a Red Wedding to Trinidad keeps the golden prophecy from having for a while longer.
Decay (c) def. Las Sicarias to retain the IMPACT Knockouts Tag Team Championship (9:02)

Los Ingobernables de Japon (Tetsuya Naito, SANADA, Shingo Takagi) vs Best Friends (Orange Cassidy, Chuck Taylor, Trent Beretta)
Quite possibly the greatest pairing in all of wrestling, Tetsuya Naito and Orange Cassidy get their dream confrontation on this very special show as the two laziest men in wrestling try to outsloth each other. Playing 50/50 between a comedic PWG-style bout and short bursts of genuinely cool sequences from the ever impressive Shingo Takagi and- yeah, just Naito and Takagi, it’s very much a crowd pleaser as Best Friends try to cope without Drew Gulak by their side. SANADA’s version of the Gu-Lock, Skull End, only further tearing them apart, though the follow-up Moonsault misses, a Destino to Chuckie gives Los Ingobernables de Japon a fun momentum boost!
Los Ingobernables de Japon def. Best Friends (11:17)

Chris Jericho vs Zack Sabre Jr.
As the (retirement?) tour of Jericho continues, Jungle Boy tapping him out inspires him to play to his best hits, bringing out the List of 1,004 Holds for his entrance against Zack Sabre Jr., reading them off one-by-one until the Windy Man blows his short fuse and barrels Chris over with a European Uppercut! Tossing him into the ring, a cool technical back-and-forth ensues in this generational clash, Jericho doing his best to show he too can submit someone, that too the man who took over from Danielson in his absence, whilst Sabre looks to keep him dreaming, wanting to scrub the existence of Jericho in a New Japan ring from the record books completely. Blaming Chris for never getting to hold the Intercontinental Championship before it was retired, he lets that all out through a Hurrah! Another Year, Surely This One Will Be Better Than the Last; The Inexorable March of Progress Will Lead Us All to Happiness as Jericho wonders how he can poach that as his 1,005th move mid-tapping out!
Zack Sabre Jr. def. Chris Jericho (11:55)

Death Triangle vs United Empire (Will Ospreay, Jeff Cobb, Great-O-Khan)
It’s been one rough time for Death Triangle as of late. Losing to Andrade puts a real toll on PAC, who after failing to claim all of the TNT, AAA World Tag Team, and AAA Mega Championships in succession, is desperate for any sort of means to remind the world he still remains one of AEW’s top assets. With that in mind, a challenge from IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Will Ospreay is music to his ears (who in this injury-less world doesn’t have his run cut criminally short), the Commonwealth Kingpin wanting to settle their time-limit draw that’s been pending over their heads ever since 2019. Closing the night with a Six-Man Tag ahead of their big dance, a completely changed Jeff Cobb steps back into AEW with Great-O-Khan by his side, putting the hurt in The Lucha Bros as PAC and Ospreay focus on one another. As great as the two parts of Death Triangle operate separately, they fail miserably when having to put that all together, a miscommunication resulting Rey Fenix falling in the crossfire of a Hidden Blade, giving United Empire the edge heading into the Supercard!

2023.06.09 18:47 Practical_Culture833 I need some help. I'm writing a recipe for my culture food challenge based off of the Adjarian Khachapuri, but if it was combined with Mexican flavors.

I need help explaining how to make a Adjarian Khachapuri in the recipe, I tried but idk if it's accurate, and I'd like to add more Georgian flavors to the dish as well. Here's my recipe in its current Bata form.
Ingredients for Mexicana Khachapuri: - 2 cups all-purpose flour - 1 teaspoon instant yeast - 1 teaspoon sugar - 1/2 teaspoon salt - 1/2 cup warm milk - 2 tablespoons vegetable oil - 1 cup Mexican Oaxaca cheese, grated - 1 cup Mexican queso fresco, crumbled - 2 tablespoons Mexican crema (or sour cream) - 2 eggs (1 for the filling, 1 for the egg wash) - 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped - 1 jalapeño pepper, finely diced (optional) - 1/2 cup red onion, finely chopped - 2 tablespoons Mexican chorizo, cooked and crumbled (optional)
Ingredients for Salsa de Ajika: - 2 red bell peppers, roasted, peeled, and deseeded - 2 jalapeño peppers, roasted, peeled, and deseeded - 4 cloves garlic, roasted - 1 tablespoon Georgian ajika paste - 1 tablespoon lime juice - 1 tablespoon olive oil - Salt and pepper to taste
  6. In a mixing bowl, combine the Oaxaca cheese, queso fresco, Mexican crema, 1 beaten egg, cilantro, jalapeño pepper, red onion, and cooked chorizo (if using). Mix well.
  13. While the khachapuris are baking, prepare the Salsa de Ajika. In a blender or food processor, combine the roasted red bell peppers, roasted jalapeño peppers, roasted garlic, ajika paste, lime juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Blend until smooth.
  14. Once the khachapuris are ready, remove them from the oven and let them cool slightly. Drizzle the Salsa de Ajika over the khachapuris or serve it on the side as a dipping sauce.
  15. Slice the khachapuris and serve warm, with the egg yolk still runny. Dip the crust into the egg yolk and enjoy every bite!
