Missed sales appointment letter
Going to be taken off cause I "missed" my appointment when the JSP never rang me (despite not needing to?)
2024.05.21 15:41 Techa Going to be taken off cause I "missed" my appointment when the JSP never rang me (despite not needing to?)
Ok so, Midday yesterday (monday 20th) I finally got my ESAT done and was able to be changed over to a Disability Job Provider, and that my phone appt from the JSP I was with the next day should be cancelled.
Today I never got a call and thought ok yeah it's been cancelled (was meant to be at 3PM). I get an SMS 3 hours later saying I didn't meet a requirement and need to contact my provider. I called the number (it's for the main HQ) but cause it was late the branch near me was closed but she sent em a message about it. She also told me (and it sounded kind of rude / condescending) that since my JSP failed to call me, I should have called them.
WTF? I thought cause yesterday I was being put onto a disability provider it would cancel like she said. The other thing is, the person who was doing phone appointments at the JSP (call her H), last phone appt said that it was her last one with me as she is being transferred to another branch so the next phone appt (as in the 3pm one today) will have a different person taking over.
So wtf is going on? Their system didn't get rid of the phone appt? The replacement didn't do their job so I get punished? Mutual obligations seem like such a lie when JSP's can somehow punish you for your FIRST supposed offense (I had 0 missed face to face and phone appts with this job provider since I went with em early last year).

2024.05.21 15:40 Key_Improvement_2847 Absurd QECO and OCT processing time?
Apologies for the mini rant... BUT
How in the world do QECO and OCT get away with these absurd processing times? I was recently quoted 16 weeks (4 months) for them to view and assess my A4 upgrade requirements, despite clearly meeting all the criteria. It's 2024, this should be an automated process.
With their current timeline, I will not receive my upgrade letter before my LTO ends (end of June) and therefore miss out on retroactive pay from the entire semester, which is approximately $2,000.
Does anyone have any insight as to why these organizations can get away this?

| Hey Reddit Fam! So I filed electronically back on 2/15... See image below https://preview.redd.it/ol40jzba9s1d1.png?width=718&format=png&auto=webp&s=10884423dfb4aa233e899b87385583e2281f2745 I received the "usual" letters everyone gets about unable to verify online on 3/29. My local office shut down "Walk In Saturdays" early due to the ongoing line outside the federal building with hostile people. Contacted IRS 4/10 per letter to schedule an appointment. Had to drive 2 Hours away, just to Verify In-Person on 5/1... My Transcript have only updated one time since 2/15. On 5/15 when I contact the Toll Free number; The wait time was an hour wait! So I continued to wait lol.. Finally I reached a LIVE agent; The IRS Rep asked me if I went to verify in person. "I told her yes I did" Then she places me on hold for 10mins to verify that I "Indeed went to verify". To only come back on the phone to mention that it well take 9 weeks for an update. From when my transcript was processed on 5/13. She told me not to call back until 7/15. I'm just lost for words at this point. submitted by Time_Presentation153 to IRS [link] [comments] |

TRUMP and the INNOCENT PROTESTORS who VISITED the CAPITAL PEACEFULLY on JANUARY 6. March 26, 2024. The United States Navy Judge Advocates General’s Corps on Friday began but did not conclude the tribunal of Attorney General Merrick Garland, whom the Office of Military Commissions has charged with treason for weaponizing the Justice Department against President Donald J. Trump and the innocent protesters who visited the Capitol peacefully on January 6. As reported previously, U.S. Special Forces arrested Garland on January 28 in Maryland, following his return to the U.S. from Poland, where he had been cowering and remotely directing the DOJ, hoping patriotic justice wouldn’t chase him overseas. As has been the case with myriad Deep Staters, Garland felt an uncontrollable urge to return to the roost, Washington D.C., and dropped his guard just long enough for White Hats to scoop him up. Once captured, the weaselly man who had often stoically insisted his Justice Department was impartial and equitable, devoid of bias, regressed into a heap of sniveling flesh, bewailing his predicament and asking Jesus to “please kill Donald Trump,” an odd request considering Garland is Jewish. Garland’s lawless rule led to the wrongful incarceration of numerous patriots, but he couldn’t stomach five minutes behind bars. In pretrial confinement at Camp Delta, Garland had proclaimed his innocence, screaming, “Let me out of here,” while insisting he had only ever enforced the letter of the law, crossed every ‘t,’ and dotted every ‘I.” JAG, however, contended that Garland bent the law to fit the Deep State’s sinister agenda and, when necessary, invented new rules aimed at eroding the Constitution and depriving citizens of their rights and freedoms. Garland had naturally refuted that allegation during an early interview. According to Garland, he had claimed he was simply an appointed official tasked with punishing felons, among them the J6ers and President Trump. Vice Admiral Darse E. Crandall’s opening statement at Friday’s tribunal painted Garland not as an administration lackey but a puppet master who pulled Biden’s strings. He contended that while a reclusive Biden hid in his basement, Garland, Antony Blinken, Alejandro Mayorkas, and the late Lloyd Austin steered the nation toward destruction. Garland, who had chosen to represent himself, was handcuffed to the defense table and peering over his eyeglasses as the admiral informed the 3-officer panel that JAG wanted Garland to hang for his crimes against America and its people. JAG had advised detainee Garland to display proper courtroom decorum; unruly outbursts would be met with a swift, harsh rebuke. His opening remarks were succinct: “I am innocent of all charges. President Joseph R. Biden appointed me as Attorney General of the United States. I dispassionately applied equal justice to all and shall be vindicated.” Admiral Crandall argued that Biden’s naming of Garland attorney general in March 2021 was merely ceremonial and that corporate entities and foreign dignitaries vetted him for the role as early as January 4, 2021. He called his first witness, President of the European Council and Bilderberg member Charles Michel, to the stand. Real Raw News learned Monday that JAG arrested Michel on espionage charges on February 5. He had agreed to testify at Garland and other Deep Staters’ tribunals in exchange for a 25-year prison sentence. We have no information on his arrest and situation beyond what is described in the rest of this article. Michel supplied his backstory and academic and work history and identified the defendant by pointing at him. “Mr. Michel, you’ve met detainee Garland before today, haven’t you?” the admiral queried. Michel nodded. “Only once.” Garland straightened in his seat as if an electric charge had passed through him. “This is a set-up; I swear I’ve never met this man in my entire life.” “Detainee Garland, we’ve discussed this. You can redress the witness once I’m finished,” the admiral said. “Now, Mr. Michel, how and when did you meet the defendant, and what were the circumstances of the meeting.” “I met Merrick at his house in Maryland to inform him he would likely be the next Attorney General in the United States,” Michel said. “I’m an educated man, Mr. Michel, but this confounds me, so correct me if I’m wrong. You’re a Belgian citizen. What in the world would give you authority to promise detainee Garland anything?” Admiral Crandall asked. “I was more a messenger,” Michel replied. ‘Deliver whose message?” the admiral asked. “Who told you to speak to the defendant?” “I was told on a video call with a man who looked very much like Barack Obama and Jean-Pierre Lacroix,” Michel replied. Lacroix, a French national, is the under-secretary-general for Peace Operations for the United Nations. “At the same time?” said Admiral Crandall. “If you mean, were we all on the call simultaneously, the answer is yes,” Michel said. “Why did you qualify your mention of Obama with ‘looked very much like’?” Admiral Crandall probed. Michel shrugged. “As I understand things now, based on rumor and innuendo, not any real proof I’ve seen, Barack Obama might have been dead long before that call, and the person perhaps pretending to be him was just some man in a mask. I know there’s a man running around pretending to be me, so why not him, Obama, too.” “And now, in retrospect, do you not have the same concerns about Lacroix?” the admiral continued. “Him I’d met before, entirely unrelated. It was the real Lacroix,” Michel said. The admiral reached for a pitcher of water and poured a glass. “Why Garland? Was there an impetus for wanting him to be Attorney General over anyone else?” “Because he had the credentials and already hated Donald Trump and Trump’s supporters and political allies. He was the perfect choice. Trump and his people represented a disturbance, you see, a schism in the order of things. Merrick was told he’d be appointed prior to our meeting’; my job was seeing him face to face, getting a read on him, and making sure he understood that Trump was to be put in jail, made ineffective, or even killed,” Michel said. “You tell an illuminating story, Mr. Michel, in which shadowy foreign figures influence presidential appointments and dictate U.S. policy. It’s all cloak-and-dagger. Besides your word, have you any proof to substantiate your claim?” the admiral said. “The only physical proof I had is what you already have,” Michel responded. “Then let’s take a look,” said the admiral. On a large screen he broadcast a recording of Michel’s video call with Obama and Lacroix, whose faces appeared side by side. Obama did most of the talking. “Mr. Michel, Merrick Garland will be expecting your visit. He understands you are our emissary. We expect you to reiterate our message to him: once confirmed by the Senate, he will use the full weight of the Justice Department to hunt down every insurrectionist at the Capitol. And with the FBI at his disposal, he can once and for all deal with Donald Trump and his family,” Obama enunciated each word slowly. “And, Monsieur Michel, you report back, let us know if he has trepidations,” Lacroix said. “We do not expect that to be a problem,” Obama said. “I understand completely,” Michel said in response. The admiral faced the panel. “Army Cyber Command evaluated the clip. They say they’re 98% certain the voice is Obama’s, but only 76% the face is really his. But whether or not that’s the real Obama and Lacroix is largely irrelevant. What’s important is whether the defendant agreed to this unnatural union of forces determined to weaponize the DOJ for political gain.” He continued: “Mr. Michel, what did you personally tell detainee Garland, and what was his response.” “I told him that both Obama and Biden wanted him as long as he pledged to eliminate Trump. And he told me he planned to do that anyway, that getting rid of Trump and his MAGA would be his capstone achievement,” Michel said. “Was there any concern, Mr. Michel, among you and your associates that he wouldn’t pass muster. I mean, a president appoints, but the Senate confirms.” Michel waved his hand dismissively. “Confirmation was a formality. The result was never in doubt, Admiral Crandall.” Michel wore a sinister grin. “No further questions at this time,” the admiral said. “Detainee Garland, you may cross Mr. Michel.” Garland cleared his throat. “I’d like to approach the witness.” “Mr. Michel can hear you just fine from where you’re sitting,” the admiral retorted. Garland said, “You claim we met at my house. You’re a liar. I’ve never seen you before today.” “The detainee will not badger or antagonize the witness,” the admiral chimed in. “Consider this your first and final warning, detainee Garland.” “If, as you claim, we had this imaginary meeting. Where in my house did we meet? Can you describe my home’s interior?” “Merrick. Remember, when we met, you asked me to call you Merrick, not Mr. Garland. I only saw a hallway and your sitting room. I sat on a burgundy sofa facing a bay window overlooking a dead garden. You were at a desk, oak, if I recall correctly. You were proud of it and said it belonged to your father. Behind you was a bookcase that stretched from wall to wall and floor to ceiling. You grinned at hearing you would have unilateral control of all domestic matters of justice,” Michel said. Garland appeared uneasy, wobbling on his feet. “Thi..this is entrapment. You rehearsed this. You, Admiral Crandall, or your people must have raided my house and told this man, whom I’ve never met, what was inside. I’d like a recess and access to a law library please.” “Well, I’ll grant you that request, detainee Garland, and see you get the books delivered to your cell. This tribunal will resume at 0900 on Monday morning.” The admiral ordered MPs to escort Garland to his cell and instructed the panelists to not discuss the case among themselves or with anyone else without his explicit instructions. I am expecting to receive notes on Monday’s proceedings this evening. submitted by Far-War-3804 to CourtofAges [link] [comments] |

2024.05.21 15:12 Peace-and-Pistons Why Do Long-Haul Flights Offer Fewer In Flight Services Compared to Short-Haul Budget Airlines?
I’m currently on the tail end of a long-haul flight from Beijing to Bologna with Air France, and despite not being in cattle class, I find myself a bit confused.
Why do budget airlines like EasyJet or Ryanair allow passengers to purchase soft drinks, alcohol, snacks and even duty-free items like perfume and tobacco at your convenience, yet such options seem restricted on these longer flights? On this flight, it seems we’re limited to three drinks and two modest meals for a journey that spans 12 hours. Additionally, only business and first-class passengers have access to hard liquor. I do enjoy my whiskey when flying!
This feels inconvenient and seems like a missed revenue opportunity for the airline. They have a captive audience for an extended period, potentially leading to significant upselling. I understand international regulations might restrict the sale of certain items like tobacco, alcohol, and perfumes on international flights. Still, it seems feasible to offer more frequent food and drink services.
It all seems a bit backwards to me. What are your thoughts?

2024.05.21 15:09 Paradox_HS Post-Uni Job Hunting Anxiety
Hi all!
I don't intend for this post to be too much of a woe is me, my life decisions coming back to haunt me kind of post. I'm mostly looking for advice regarding next steps, and if there are things i'm missing.
I'm from the UK (27M) and i've just wrapped up my Degree. I've previously been in this position after briefly studying Accountancy in College in 2013 and having a mental breakdown which pushed me into leaving and looking for work since. Besides one admin related job I received three years after leaving college that I left due to apathy, I pursued work in Esports until 2019 where I got my A-Levels in College for Game Design and my degree from '21-24 in Esports.
At the time of writing, I have absolutely zero idea on what I want to do with my career at this point and have received very little practical advice on the subject. Most of the jobs I see online in my region of the UK are mostly revolved around Sales or Marketing, which as an introvert with very few personal acquaintances I know i'm terrible at. (I've been told that i'm fairly kind and nice to be around in person, but I am terrible in front of a crowd or pitching ideas) Ideally i'd like to explore Events Management (Either Digital or Physical) but there appears to be very little availability in that market for uni graduates, and i'm finding my options to be more and more limited by the day.
My parents are both on 3+ hour drives (in my mother's case, 8+) away from me, so I also have constant anxiety over moving back in and trying to apply digitally from there. When I was in the aforementioned job hunting time from '13-'19 I was stuck in a remote part of the country, taking care of my brother with downs syndrome and my mental health nosedived. I genuinely don't know if I can handle being put under a similar situation now in 2024.
The advice I have been given mostly consists of: 'Just apply for everything until you make it'. Which frankly doesn't help me when i'm put on the spot and asked: "Why do you want this job" and having to desperately avoid answering with: "So I don't fall into depression and end up homeless." Like, today for example I was brought in for a Group Interview at the local theatre for a Marketing Role and I was so clearly out of my depth that I couldn't present ideas better than the two guys at my table who were clearly already invested into marketing and/or knew more about the location than me.
Do I think I could've done more to prepare? Absolutely. I could've looked into actual plays ahead of time rather than bouncing off of people, or tried to present ideas more coherently, but I knew the role wasn't for me and the interviewees most likely could tell. I'm having a very difficult time envisioning this not being a recurring problem when every interview will be based on how I can present myself, rather than skills based work. Since I believe I definitely have the skill capacity to be able to engage in the average role a uni grad would be expected to perform, but I can't show it in those kinds of settings.
Tl;dr; Older Uni Graduate has zero ideas what he wants to work as, and is struggling on how to overcome Social Anxiety & Autism (and likely undiagnosed depression) in order to get a job after University when nothing in his field of study is on offer.

2024.05.21 15:05 TinyLagoonStudios Marketing tips for gaming hits
What does it take to get a great game to become a success in 2024? We have had a look into the latest charts, analytics and surveys to extract some insights to help decipher how to turn a game into a hit.
Finding your players: who’s in your squad?
The gaming population keeps increasing year by year¹, comprising people from all ages and regions, but how are most players discovering new games? Well, the answer is multifaceted, but luckily we found a survey, published this month, May 2024², to inform us — and yes, this one included non-binary people, a segment of the population you don’t want to ignore in your research! At the top spot, we find YouTube; the most popular and trusted platform to discover games, followed by TikTok. Both are known for their short and long-form video content, as
we predicted would be more relevant than ever this year.
But don’t underestimate the power of traditional methods either, as word-of-mouth recommendations, online ads, TV, and in-store and online promotions still play a huge part in the discoverability of games, specifically by helping generate trustworthiness, a key feature of successful marketing. Meanwhile, community hubs like Twitch, Reddit and Discord also have a very crucial role in product sustainability and longevity, as another recent survey³ indicated by stating that approximately 67% of gamers think video games help to build communities and many have established new friendships and even relationships through gaming. Could your game do that too? If you’re new to Reddit or Discord, take a look at our article
here for some tips on getting started.
That being said, there’s no need to pick just one platform, as statistics show that people actually use 4 to 5 sources to discover new games. Gone are the days of a one-size-fits-all approach. Today's gamers are a diverse bunch, and understanding their habits is crucial. The key takeaway? A successful marketing strategy should use a multi-platform approach, carefully tailored to your audience.
Internationalisation done well: customising your build
So, we've looked at who your audience is, now it's the turn of localisation. Counting on experts to help you enter a new market and establish trust through a different cultural lens is a strategy that today's top games follow.
Looking at the global charts for 2023⁴ and at the top-selling games from April in the EU⁵, it becomes apparent that localisation is a common thread. Let’s look more specifically at France: almost every single one of the top 20 best-selling console games of 2023⁶ has been localised to French, as well as a number of other languages, including Arabic, as is the case with
Assassin's Creed Mirage. This particular title makes a very interesting case study of localisation and culturalisation becoming powerful marketing tools themselves, as well as being key to the game’s experience.
Assassin's Creed Mirage was released with an Arabic dub that wasn't just for show. Praised for its authenticity, the accurate localisation, realistic voice acting and cultural details transported players directly into the bustling streets of 9th-century Baghdad. The localisation team meticulously recreated the cultural atmosphere. From the way the characters addressed each other to the background conversations, everything felt authentic. This commitment to culturalisation not only resonated deeply with Arabic-speaking gamers, but also garnered respect from players worldwide, earning positive reviews and strong engagement for
Mirage (
as seen in this TikTok example). Consequently, the dedication to localisation and culturalisation not only enhanced the game but also acted as a powerful marketing tool in itself to promote sales.
Talking about TikTok, recent studies also reveal that the most popular games on the platform have been localised into several languages⁷. As a social media platform that prides itself on its international communities, it’s only to be expected this would be the case. In fact, they recently announced that bilingual ads in Spanish and English are even more effective in promoting content on their platform in the US than English-only ads! And, on top of that, they increased consumers’ perception of brands’ trustworthiness⁸.
So what can we learn from looking at a recent unexpected rising star? And yes, we are talking about
Helldivers 2! With very little pre-launch marketing, the game quickly became a massive hit throughout Europe⁹ and other regions¹⁰, and it seems to be managing to keep its popularity thanks to its very well-crafted and unique tone of voice. The game's distinct communication style, a blend of dark humour and military jargon, is a key part of its charm. From the hilariously over-the-top mission briefings to the satire-packed and irony-tinted community announcements, their propaganda-inspired marketing, perfectly localised into several languages, keeps players engaged globally.
The final boss: putting it all together
By understanding which platforms your audiences use, their motivations and demographics, and by prioritising
localisation to enter different markets, you can significantly increase a game's chances of becoming a global phenomenon. Remember, sometimes it’s the
little things, like changing the way you approach new markets, that make a big difference. If you need a partner to help you on your journey,
get in touch with us here and our team at Tiny Lagoon will be thrilled to join you.

2024.05.21 15:02 Yphi-Zirconium Realism of the Rotten Vale : Can Big Snek make Laif ?
Check here for all images :
https://imgur.com/a/m0JiXr8 [This is part of a larger video project on the geological past of Monster Hunter World]
Hello everyone from whichever subreddit I might post this in. I was working on a future video project for Monster Hunter World, and wanted to post some of my findings here, because, hey, it’s actually pretty interesting imo.
Those findings are specifically about the Coral Highlands and the Rotten Vale and whether the death of a giant fucking Dalamadur could trigger the flourishing of an ecosystem like the Coral Highlands
So, without further ado, let’s start !
My objective was to calculate the mass of the giant dalamadur in the Rotten Vale, figure out what’s the average decomposition speed of most animals, and then just multiply both to figure out how long it would’ve taken for the Rotten Vale’s Dalamadur to decompose.
From there on you try to figure out 2 things :
- Whether this duration is longer than at least 65 Million years ago : Since it’s impossible for the Dalamadurs were too large to fit inside the Rotten Vale, a possible theory is that the area was much more open back then, and due to an orogeny which lead to the high mountain ranges in the region and closed of the area in which these chunky bois lived in. Due to the massive size of these Elder Dragons, they probably just eat a lot once, destroying the ecosystem, and then go on to hibernate for long periods of times. Since the largest Dalamadur found in the Rotten Vale is estimated to be around 8-11 km long ( I averaged it to about 9km in length in my calculations ), it’s probably not far-fetched to think they might hibernate through hundred of millions of years, which eventually lead to their death in the Vale. This would also explain why you’re appointed in 4U to kill Dalamadurs, as they can absolutely destroy an ecosystem when they get out of hibernation, and an extra bit of lore that could explain why the Dalamadur only appeared in 4U : it was a one-time thing.
Anyways, the Himalayas, which was the result of very fast colliding plates, creating one of the highest peaking mountain ranges, was formed at around 65-55 Million years ago, when the Indian and Eurasian plates collided. In conclusion, if we assume that the plates which created the mountain range in the area might be slower ( or faster, we never know ), the Rotten Vale’s Dalamadur must be at least as old as the geological formations themselves, in other words around 100+ Million Years Old
- Whether it has enough organic material to sustain an ecosystem.
With that out of the way, I took in the length and weight of the Dalamadur we find in MH4U ( shout-out to
u/BloodbathFatalis for figuring it out, links to his post here : ), and apply it to Vale Dalamadur, which I will refer to in this post as “Ancient Dalamadur” from now on
Ill link my spreadsheet later this day, but basically I got a mass of about 342 Million Metric Ton ( fig.1 :
https://imgur.com/a/8euzNul ), which is fucking insane. I don’t have anything to compare it immediately but it’s just, unimaginably heavy.
Next, Decomposition
When I was researching this subject, I discovered Whale Falls, which are basically the formation of little ecosystem around a whale carcass, which is EXACTLY what I needed. Whale Falls happen in 3 stages, the first one being the decomposition of soft tissue, the second being the colonization of the bones by different animals, and the third stage is the decomposition of the bones themselves. The Fourth Stage, dubbed “Reef Stage” on Wikipedia, is when all that’s left are minerals : in other words, all organic matter has been consumed. Now, of course, comparing a snake to a whale leads to some issues, and it might not give us an exact value, especially since the chemical composition of whale and snake bones are completely different, but at least this might give us an approximate value. If anyone know the percentage of lipids in snake bones though, I’m down to calculate using that.
Anyways, after applying the values given by *Wikipedia* for the Whale Fall of a grey Whale, we can figure out how long it takes for a Dalamadur, and by extension, an Ancient Dalamadur, to decompose ( fig. 2 :
https://imgur.com/a/Bjl3gEE ).
This gives us a total time until Reef Stage of about 885 MILLIONS YEARS.
THAT’S A LONG-ASS TIME
For comparison, On Earth, 885 Millions years ago, Life was literally but a few multicellular organisms that could photosynthesize. Trees, insects, animals, none of them existed yet.
So yeah, having a giant fucking Dalamadur stuck there is plausible, somehow, since by then mountain collision could’ve happened and even after erosion and rifting, the bones would still be there.
Considering also that 50 Millions years of those is just decomposing the Giant Dalamadur until the skeleton is fully colonized, yeah no, this actually makes more sense than we give it credit for
Also, thanks to more *Wikipedia* sources, we have the added knowledge that a grey whale whale fall releases would’ve released around 17 Million Tons of Carbon.
For comparison, most natural oils and fossil fuels are about 85% Carbon, so if all the Organic Matter of these Giant Dalamadurs were trapped, only one of them could amount to 14.2 Million Tons of petroleum, for example. Since 1kg of Petroleum of Petroleum is about 1.27 Liters ( 1L=>0.79kg), 1 ton of Petroleum is 1270 Liters, this gives us about 1.80E10 L of petroleum, or, in other words, 18 Billion Liters, which is about 112,500,000Barrels. For comparison, we as humans use 97,103,871 Barrels per day, so one Ancient Dalamadur has enough organic matter to to fuel the needs for oil for ALL OF HUMANITY for an ENTIRE DAY.
This made me realize two things :
- Holy shit so many living things died in the past so that we could use Cars and Airplanes
- Holy shit Humanity is releasing so much fucking CO2… ( Whyyyy do we keep using fossil fuels ffs )
Fun fact though, while Ancient Dalamadur is, fucking massive, compared to other snake physiology and anatomy…. He’s not the bulkiest (fig.3
https://imgur.com/a/TvFzKok ). If Dalamadurs had the metabolism of a Gaboon Viper or an Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake, they’d be MUCH bulkier and would then take even LONGER to decompose and would have EVEN MORE organic matter
This is fucking insane
But anyways, Conclusion :
Considering that the Rotten Vale contains more than just one Ancient Dalamadur, and I only used the mmeasurement approximation of the Largest Ancient Dalamadur, aka, the one with the Giant Skull on the Surface level of the Vale, and that Vaal Hazak’s control over the area is now forcing all elder dragons migrating to the New World to die there, with part of their energy going too the Elder’s Recess :
Yeah, it’s more plausible than I thought, I have to say.
That’s all I have for today, I’ll probably make another post here about the Guiding Lands or maybe even the Everstream someday. Thanks for reading this, if I missed anything or want me to give you some more info on the subject, or even give me some propositions or future video ideas, make sure to comment and also upvote so that more people can see this and I didn’t just spent two days doing research for nothing. See ya !
PS : So I had to rewrite this paragraph due to a fuck up, and also I discovered this after writing all this down, but basically the length of the Ancient Dalamadur might not be accurate, as I've seen posts either saying he's 1-3km long and others saying he's 5-10km long, but, long story short, after doing some calculations, the Ancient Dalamadur's corpse status is realistic if, at minimum, he's about 4-5km long. If anyone could measure the size of the giant dalamadur skull on the surface of the Rotten Vale and the size of a dalamadur head in 4U, we could estimate the length of the Larger Ancient Dalamadur, and, even if it is, like, 1-2km long there are still enough Dalamadur Corpses ( at least 8-9 ) to release enough organic matter to create the coral highlands, I think. If anyone has an actual length tho, I'd be happy to use it, albeit with calculations of how we got to that result.

2024.05.21 15:01 Styro8 AC Shadows *RANT*
I don't get it why are people hating on this game so much. Like I've seen every other streamer now commentating and talking shit about pre-order and stuff. I mean pre-order sales without a gameplay isn't something new right? I don't wanna mention other games but situation with AC Shadows isn't really a new thing. If you don't wanna pre-order it before gameplay reveal, don't pre-order it you aren't forced to.
So prices are too high right? I mean base game is 70$, game with season pass is 110$. Keep in mind that season pass also includes two upcoming DLCs, which, calculated, it would cost 20$ each.
Newer games today are priced up to 60-70$ so price for this game isn't a big deal.
I agree that the Ultimate Edition is money-waste as it includes skins which aren't that necessary.
I'm not D riding AC or Ubisoft as a company, I am not a huge fan of AC neither, I've tried AC games and am currently am on Valhalla in my free time, but men, all the shit talk that goes towards new AC shocked me.
Is there anyone who could explain thee situation even more if I've missed on something, but I actually see no reason for pissing on this upcoming title that much.

2024.05.21 14:52 One_Traffic6627 Car sale company, sold faulty car
Hi, so I bought a car Citroen c3 2010 on the 29th Feb, the night I got the car the engine management light came on, called the sale place and informed them. They made an appointment for me in a local garage which I went too and was told it's a sensor that's all and they will get it fixed unfortunately the mechanics family member had passed away and said they could no longer do the work. I called the sale place again and they asked me to bring it back up (bought in Wakefield, live in Manchester) so they could get their local garage to fix the issue.
They had my car for 3 weeks without a single update from them I had to constantly call just for an update and kept getting "be with you Friday"
I drove up with a family member after the 3 weeks and asked if my car was fixed they said yes handed me my keys and said "don't come back, you've harassesd us for ages for update don't call again were done"
On the way home the car broke down on the motorway, oil pressure warning came on, called AA they said the oil isn't burning right and to get it booked in to see what's up with it
Got it to my local garage and they said it's gonna cost at least £1700 to fix and even after that I still could be chasing my tail, the said to constant trading standards and citizens advice
Called citizen advice and they said send a record letter asking for a refund give them 7 days to respond, I've sent a letter they received it Thursday 16th, asking for a refund and stating the consumer act 2015 I still haven't heard anything back from them and I'm wondering what my next steps are
I haven't got the funds to take them to small claims or even to fix the car, I'm gutted as this is my first car my family are trying to help me out as much as they can but we just haven't got that type of money
My BIL said if worst comes to worst It might be better getting a refurbished engine in rather than fixing what's in there now and going from there as it will be the cheeper option but I don't want this company to get away with this what are my next steps? And what can I do?
