Gale - He actually has a bit of a playful side, and he's nice to anyone who's nice to him. (If) he has time off, he'll sometimes help Lou with his snow cone business, usually simply by suggesting better locations to sell them at than Mystic Mountain.
Surge - He and Brock are really close friends. He's one of the reasons that Brock even gets out (Ofc not excluding 8-Bit and Rico). He's 100% more of a show-off than an actual hero. Also, his favorite games are DDR's.
Colette - She and Edgar are cousins, so she always pesters him by either ranting about HER headcanons, fanfics, and who she's currently obsessed with. She also often tries to pressure R-T into telling her juicy secrets about the Brawlers.
Lou - He's actually friends with Surge, and they've been trying to perfect an energy drink-flavored snow cone for quite some time. Lou's also completely oblivious to why his snow cones aren't selling.
Colonel Ruffs - While he may seem tough, he has a soft side. He loves being pet and playing fetch, but would do anything to not admit it. He also feels a bit like a father to Squeak, and doesn't seem to notice Eve's feelings for him.
Belle - She's one of the smartest Brawlers in the entire park. She's not actually a villain, and she only steals as a vain attempt to run the park broke. The only thing she and her gang's been able to do is annoy them.
Buzz - He absolutely loves being in control of any and every situation he's in. When under pressure, he's actually a decent leader. He took his job as a lifeguard for 2 reasons: The authority, and so that he could sit in the tall lifeguard chairs to make up for his height.
Ash - (Oh boy, one of my favorites. Now which one do I choose...) Ash created the R. A. T. S. Bots himself, and he somewhat treats them as if they were his kids. He hates Kit for multiple reasons. While in battle he can get pretty upset, most of the time he's actually mundane.
Fun Fact: It's canon that Ash wants to be an actor, (In the Spanish version of Brawl Stars, it says it in his bio. See for yourself)
Lola - She hates Mico with every fiber of her existence. She only deals with Gray since he doesn't talk, but still gets upset when he "gets in the way". Her favorite thing to do is to see how dramatic she can make a situation.
Fang - He's usually the one dragging Buster into most of their chaotic situations. He surprisingly gets along well with Lola. He's also really into sports, especially baseball and football. Soccer is a close third.
Eve - At first, when joining the Starr Force, she simply wanted to be with Ruffs to support her kids. Over time she realized she had more complex feelings. She has mixed feelings about the Botany trio.
Janet - Friends at the beginning, her relationship with Melodie quickly shifted into a rivalry when she started to take a more "aggressive" approach when it came to their music. A lot of the time Janet's responsible for Bonnie, which can easily get out-of-hand.
Otis - He likes messing with Hank, but never takes it too far, since he's actually a bit scared of him. His favorite places to graffiti consist of the surrounding area of the Stunt Arena (What I like to call the Stunt Show area), within the Velocirapids water park, and even on the Fantasy Castle walls.
Sam - He used to love robots, and was decent a making them, until the incident that left Belle with only one arm. He claims he hates them, but he actually still likes them, he just doesn't put as much trust into them anymore.
Buster - While he's slightly more cautious than Fang, he still gets into a lot of trouble with him. He only wears sunglasses to try to look cool and menacing, which actually surprisingly works with some people.
Mandy - Chester's her adopted brother. She likes having him around sometimes so she can let her anger run loose a bit on him when no one else is there. She hates to admit it, but she's a bit impressed of how high Chester's social status is.
R-T - (OH GOD- We got to my other favorite. Uhm-) He's fluent in sign language. Despite literally his entire existence being to answer and interact with the visitors, he's a bit introverted. He's also pretty jumpy, but can be menacing when he wants. He's somewhat like a little brother to the twins, but also the leader. He actually has a bit of a chaotic side to him, but his programming blocks most of it out.
Not-So Fun Fact: His two halves are sentient, the upper half being more stick-to-the-program, while the lower half is more of the heart, creating relationships with the other Brawlers. When he's all together, he has internal conflict. :(
Maisie - She loves the thrill of danger, which is why she's dealt with Fang and Buster for so long. She also loves watching horror films, and practically any other movie or show that's high in adrenaline.
Cordelius - He may be hostile to strangers, but he's also really protective of his friends. His closest friend is Lily, who when he met, despite his usual hostile demeanor, took her right in with almost no questions asked.
Pearl - Sam had actually built her a long time ago as a gift for Belle before the incident. When he re-discovered her, he decided to give her a chance. She quickly became like a daughter to them.
Charlie - She's actually Gus's older sister (He was born AFTER their family moved from France). While he was into ghosts, she always loved spiders. She owns 2 pet tarantulas, named Flux and Tango.

When I was a kid akala ko normal lang na i-compare ka sa iba. I was being a consistent honor sa school—but not the top 1, I was always being the with honor and never the highest, and being that child always hurts my pride.
I always striving to achieve the title "highest honor or with high honor" but my little self cannot handle the pressure and always end up being "with honor".
I know that even if she didn't say it on my face that she is disappointed, I can see it in her eyes.
So I tried everything and strive harder, even if I feel that my eyes are burning red and my hand felt numb.
I was always crying and asking god why does my mom cannot see that i was always trying my best. But I guess it's my fate.
One time. I have spotted a food on the kitchen counter top, and boom! i found myself having that "satisfied feeling" when I'm eating and it became my stress reliever—even if I don't want to eat. I always seeing myself eating and eating until I feel like i need to vomit. And my life cycle is always like that. stress=eat and eat. I was to focus on learning that I cannot see that I was ruining myself. And my parents doesn't even know about it.
Months have passed, and I look at the mirror and see myself. I have gained a lot of weight and felt that my body have change. And for some reason, I just shrugged it off and enjoy the comfort of what foods gives me.
And for the first time of my life, natamo ko na ang pangarap ko, 'with high honor na ako' I thought that mom would be so delighted to know it, but in the end her only reply was "okay, congrats" I felt so lowly and my little ego was crushed. I was expecting that my mom will say "omy congratulations anak! Proud na proud si mama sa'yo" but I guess I should never expect too much. I should strive much harder so she will be proud on me.
The cycle of my life continue.
I just woke up on my petty dream, when my classmates bullied me "hoy taba! tabi ka nga diyan, 'di ako magkasya. Ang lapad mo kasi" "hoy baboy, ano sagot sa number 2?" Masakit pala.
I went home and did tell my mom, and i was expecting her to defend me, but she end up saying "Totoo naman, bakit hindi ka kaya magpapayat. Tignan mo si Resa (not real name), sexy, maganda, tapos matalino pa. Tapos tignan mo sarili mo para kang balyena" her words dugs into my heart like a knife. I never thought that words can really hurt a person big time. I thought Mom would say words of encouragement to make myself stop from my life cycle habits, but it ends up worse.
Then i found my myself, eating and eating again.
I have no friends. I have a circle but I feel I don't belong there, they have always the main friend, and the 'main friend' was never me. I have no one to talk to, i was afraid to tell my parents because it will end up in the sentence "ako nga noong kasing edad m—" I really feel invalidated so I just shut my mouth and stayed silent, and keep my thoughts in me.
Then my nightmare have come, my mom and I argued on something because I corrected her ways. Her words are really sharp and ended up hurting me.
"Mapagmalaki kang bata ka, akala mo naman may maibubuga ka"
"Pinagsisihan kong pinanganak pa kita, sana pinalaglag nalang kita"
And then there, she revealed her true self. She doesn't want me in the first place but she keep me. The world have stopped and it's my wake up call.

I'm looking at the Luba 2 3000 for an 1800sqm flat/open to the sky lawn with a detached 110sqm area (front of the house). The yard is fairly bumpy with little divots and just general bumps about, but without any notable inclines. Here in Germany it rains quite a bit... statistically around 55% of the days each year we see rain. I'm not so concerned with if it mows/doesn't mow, but the ground can get pretty saturated at times.
My biggest concern is the non-turning front wheels digging up the lawn where it turns at the perimeter; I'm assuming it will follow the same path each mow and consequently turn in the same spot. I can put the charging station on a paved section without issue, but should I expect that at each point along the perimeter that it turns I'll have a dirt patch from it turning (assuming multi-turn is enabled)?
I was looking at alternatives, but I can't really find anything else that does this size area without getting two or it being double the price (Husqvarna 435x). I know this is for Mammotion, but any other machines I ought to look at?

Just crawl around. None of the bots spot you, on occasion a turret might and you just run away.
You become visible when you access a terminal so pop the nearby turrets or bots if you need to hack, or just watch their rotation and movements and quickly access the terminal when they're away.
It gets a little tricker when the crew chiefs spawn, but if you're invisilbe you can sneak up to the back of an assaultron and vats their combat inhibitor for an ez kill.
Don't think i've run my last 6 or 7 silos with another other than sneaking and crawling around as invisible.

The dream starts with me, working at my mother's café when the mother of an old classmate shows up. She doesn't look like her, she has the face of someone else. It doesn't matter anyways, if the dream says that she's that classmate's mother then that's who she is. We start talking a little bit, I can't remember about what exactly, and after a little while the said classmate arrives as well (I'll call her Fay to make things easier). Another wrong face, and yet I recognise her as her. We leave her mother at the café and we walk around the village as we start talking about random stuff. She's way too friendly with me and I am too friendly with her, in the real world our relationship was terrible. During our talk I ask her about how are things going with one of our old classmates (I'll call him Liam, also little note he used to be my biggest crush back in high school). Her friendly attitude fades and she tells me something like "I'll come back later wait" and she leaves. I wait for her and since she's not coming back I go to one of the village's taverns where I find her mother and she says "oh she left lol" as if everything's okay.
Idk how much time later, Fay comes over again while I'm having coffee with my two best friends. She says"hi" and we leave the café to go and have coffee all together at the balcony of a random house. We talk about how things where in the past and naturally the convo goes to our other old classmates as well. Same question comes over about Liam and guess what, she leaves again. Magically I know where she is and I find her inside a red pickup truck on the road right under the house which's balcony we were having coffee. The red truck is surrounded by like 3 or 4 people that idk nor do I talk to. They seem to not care about my classmate, who is literally crying in the truck. Immediately I come close to her from the open window, and ask her why she's crying. She tells me the name of Liam and then says "(my name) you have been living in your little world for too much you can't understand". I tell her that I can understand as long as she explains to me what happened. I can't remember the convo exactly but it was about how Liam raped her(???) and then tangled her up in some mafia type of shit and now his men are hunting her (???). Somehow I convinced her that I can protect her and that she needs to trust me.
That same night we meet on the same road. The moment I look at her she magically transforms into an orange cat (I've been associating her with cats since forever irl so it makes sense ig) and hides in a nearby house (that doesn't exist irl). I follow her as I climb it's stairs to the house's doorstep. I look around in the dark in alert waiting to attack. And... A little kid passes by (she's my cousin ik her). She spots me immediately and looks at me smiling. It's a dream so I'm incapable of making some movements and when I try to tell her to leave nor my voice nor my body work. All of a sudden a big man shows up, like one of those fat stereotypical npcs, dressed in black and comes my way. My cousin disappears, and I attack him. Somehow I managed to kill him after using some dark energy or something like that. I open the door where my classmate was hiding and I tell her something about the dude. She thanks me and I go back to inspect the dead body. He has almost nothing on him other than one of those devices that bodyguards put on their ears. I take it. I then go to my grandma's house which is close and open the door (Nobody is in the house). I open the TV for some reason and all the lights. I start inspecting the device the man had on him. Somehow I understand that it's also a tracking device so I do the VERY logical thing and... Throw it out of the window.
A little while later a car shows up outside the house. I immediately start closing all the lights but for some reason I struggle to close the TV off. Oh and the door is open. Two men dressed in black show up and after them is Liam. He smiles at me and somehow I know without him telling me anything that he's not suspecting me of murdering one of his men, since I'm "the stupid kid who lives in her own world". I've forgotten most of this part since it's close to the end of the dream but he's inspecting my grandma's house while he talks to me as if I'm some dumb kid. I act dumb so he doesn't see under my facade and the dream ends here.

All of a sudden a big man shows up, like one of those fat stereotypical npcs, dressed in black and comes my way. My cousin disappears, and I attack him. Somehow I managed to kill him after using some dark energy or something like that. I open the door where my classmate was hiding and I tell her something about the dude. She thanks me and I go back to inspect the dead body. He has almost nothing on him other than one of those devices that bodyguards put on their ears. I take it. I then go to my grandma's house which is close and open the door (Nobody is in the house). I open the TV for some reason and all the lights. I start inspecting the device the man had on him. Somehow I understand that it's also a tracking device so I do the VERY logical thing and... Throw it out of the window.
A little while later a car shows up outside the house. I immediately start closing all the lights but for some reason I struggle to close the TV off. Oh and the door is open. Two men dressed in black show up and after them is Liam. He smiles at me and somehow I know without him telling me anything that he's not suspecting me of murdering one of his men, since I'm "the stupid kid who lives in her own world". I've forgotten most of this part since it's close to the end of the dream but he's inspecting my grandma's house while he talks to me as if I'm some dumb kid.  | Ordering a scooter online is a bit of a risky adventure, especially when you review the terms and conditions and the return policy. But, you have to agree to it in able to place the order. Less risky is buying at a dealer, but you pay a significant premium for the product. I've read horror stories online about folks receiving junk and even non-operating scooters. That is a possiblity, and with the terms to which you agree, very risky. submitted by Nancy48236 to scooters [link] [comments] We were lucky, though, with Family Go Carts (FGK) and the Trailmaster Milano N 50cc scooters. I ordered, online, two Trailmaster Milano N 50cc scooters from FGK - one for me, one for my husband - on May 1,2024. We received the scooters on 5/18/2024. Considering US shipping demand, that is a reasonable time to delivery. The lady at FGK who called me to coordinate the delivery was kind, and gave instructions on how to receive and prepare for the first run (ie. Change oil - upon arrival, the engine has shipping oil in it). Shipping: "Free", but you have to pay access fee and lift-gate fee. Not too bad considering how shipping rates have skyrocketed in the last few years. She asked for our second choice in colors. Thankfully, we got our first choice - light blue and white for me and black and white for my husband. Unpackaging: Remove cardboard (there's no bottom to the cardboard). Just cut down the cardboard at any one of the corners, then walk around the steel skeleton shipping cage. Then you'll take off the top of the steel shipping skeleton. Undo all bolts and nuts on the bottom. You'll a;sp have to undo the two bolts on the top that attack the steering column fork to the steel cage. Then, just tip off the cage on one end, and continue tipping it off to the other end. Assembly: No instructions for it. Some assembly is a no-brainer, but the handlebars and front wheel require explanation. Thankfully, someone posted a video on the assembly of Trailmaster Milano: https://youtu.be/rMyJEkH3b4U?si=VRcDlm2-jIvNNGfC , I couldn't have done it without that video. Handlebar assembly: First, just get the bolt in - front to back, with the curvey part of the washer against the column and between the column and the bolt head. Notice you can't get to the nut on the backside (unless you have 6" fingers of a contortionist). Don't worry like I did. Get the bolt in, assemble the front wheel, then come back the the handlebar column. Turn the bars far to one side. Now you can reach the backside of the bolt and add the nut. We added blue Loctite to the axle and the steering column/handlebar threads for the nuts. Make sure you connect the blinkers. Trial and error to get left blinker coordinating with left blinker connector. Two trials if unlucky - not too bad. You'll still have one bod-based connector without a mate. Again, don't worry like I did - that's for the headlight. You'll assemble that later. Front wheel assembly: The front wheel assembly is best with two people. First goal is to get the scooter out of the steel shipping skeleton and on flat ground so you can support the scooter on its center stand. Get the scooter out of the steel shipping skeleton. This will require some muscle and two persons. Remove the front axle bolt that holds the scooter to the bottom part of the steel shipping skeleton. One straddles the scooter while keeping the front lifted up)shaking up and down) while the other removes the bolt axle. Once the bolt axle is removed, with muscles, one straddles the scooter while keeping the front lifted up and carefully walking through the steel cage bottom while the other person pushes from behind. Then, get the scooter center stand down so the scooter rests on that on flat, solid ground. We ended up balancing the frame of the scooter on a block of wood, then putting the center stand down. Now, work on the front wheel. Slip the silver, stainless axle bolt spacer into the wheel's disc side. It's frustrating getting the wheel on because you have to get the brake disc lined up with the brake pads (remove the pad spacer put in for shipping and toss it) and the speedometer on the other side correctly lined up with the wheel and fork, ALL that simultaneously while getting it lined up to insert the axle. Fun times! You may end up with assembly partners snapping at each other and swearing - a lot. Persistence and patience and it will get done. Add blue Loctite for final tightening on the axle nut. Oil change: Drain out all the shipping oil. There's a lot in there. After draining, we added about two cups of 15W40. Headlight and front cowl assembly: Connect the headlight to the body's headlight connector. Use the included zip ties to secure all the wires out of the way and neatly, without putting too much strain on any connections. Make sure you put the U-shaped, color matched plastic cover (in horizontal plane) separating the handlebars speedometer instruments from the front cowl. Snap it into the tabs. THEN, attach the front headlight cowl to the body. Don't do like I did - get the headlight front cowl section on then try to snap in the cover. I had to remove the headlight front cowl, snap in the color-matched cover, then re-attach the front headlight cowl. Topcase/trunk: Best with two persons, but can be done with one. Big enough for a half helmet, gloves, goggles, wallet, and other little things. Looks good on the scooter, too. Battery installation: This can be tricky. You have to have a sqare nut below the terminal screw. If you put the battery in the scooter and try to get those nuts under the terminal, you won't be able to do it. If you just try to balance the square nuts on the battery while dropping the batter into the scooter's battery compartment, the square nuts fall off. We then secured the nuts to the batter with the terminal screw only half-turned. Then drop the battery in and complete connections. First, connect the black, then connect the red. The batteries we received were fully charged. Moment of truth: Put premium gas in the tank. Since the carburetor is empty, you'll have to let the starter work a bit to get gas flowing into the engine. Didn't even take three minutes. Started right up. Whew. Let it run for a while. One sees many horror stories about buying Chinese scooters online from dealers. And, those stories are bad. As I said above, you have to agree to the terms and conditions before you can buy. Those terms and conditions put all the risk on the buyer, not the dealer. So, know what you're getting into. But, thankfully, FGK did well. We received both Trailmaster Milano N 50 scooters in a timely manner, without damage, and the scooters fired up right away. Good idle speed and it sounds like the aifuel mix is spot on. Finally, registration of your scooter in your state: My state, Virginia, requires registration of 50cc scooters so you can display a license tag on the back. To register, you need a title. You don't get a title from this dealer. But, you get enough documentation from the dealer (manufacturer's transper document, invoice, bill of lading) where you can fill out an easy affidavit for title. Get it notarized and submit with your title application and registration. Pretty easy and far easier and quicker than waiting for the dealer to do it for you, IF the dealer is willing to do it for you, that is. I didn't even ask FGK for a title transfer document, so I can't comment on their responsiveness to such a request. I did the easy work-around at the DMV. So far, so good. I've gotten it up to 32 MPH (speedo reading, not GPS-confirmed), and that wasn't at full throttle. I'm still being careful with getting to full throttle until the engine has a bit of time to break in. I am aware that we will have to wrench these scooters from time to time. This afternoon around 2pm a boomer couple parked in the spot next to me (signified by the blue arrow), seeing this and being nice I let them know they can’t park there cause that’s someone’s parking spot (even though it’s been vacant for almost 2 years), and that the vehicle will be subjected to towing. I informed them that they can park in the guest parking (signified by the orange line), and text the number on the sign (signified by the red arrow) and enter your LP# and you’ll be given a 24 hours pass. But the boomer couple being adamant, they’ll only be a couple of minutes and will be gone soon, they went about their business, now at 11pm, the boomers vehicle has been towed. Hi golf community, I am a beginner (~6 months in the game) and I am thinking to change golf instructor. I wanted to understand how to spot a good golf instructor since I am not convinced with the pro I am working with, and I don't want to go back to find myself in the same situation. Long story short, I started playing golf mid November. Went to the nearest club, hired a golf instructor and taking lessons once a week. Lessons are 30 min long, and basically they do not follow any program. I hit 70/90 balls that seems to be a huge amount, he gives me little suggestions which seems to be very generic after a while and I don't get drills/homework to practice alone. Short game lessons are something like "oh you need to place the ball there and brush the grass". By playing the local par 3 course I realized how I didn't know how to hit the ball considering the various distances, how the club face was affecting the shot, and again how I could practice this alone. I went ahead and bought the Pelz book, might be old, but gave me some ah-ah moments that I could bring back to the course. Putting lesson was basically how to grip the putter, no green reading, no aiming no strength control. The guy gets pissed when I use golf terms ("oh this is a weak grip", "this is a bump and run"). Doesn't use videos, does not explaining sequencing just hitting balls. Also, he does not have TPI training nor he uses technology (saying is not useful), having a free TPI screening coupon as a benefit at work I was interested to see if I could work with that. My swing is not that bad, I can hit decent distances. Some times I get anxious and misshit, but that's probably on me. But I feel I did most of the improvements alone or following advice of friend or club member that helped me. I also have a decent driver swing, I think because I am pretty tall and fairly athletic. I met some people at the club, everyone seems to suggest a certain Pro, which has a different approach on explaining the technicality of the swing, using videos, has TPI certification, etc.. My question is, is it me that is not grasping his style or the guy is a bad instructor?

2024.05.19 11:15 balor598 Just had my first weird bug with robotic limbs.
So went and peeled half my squad and replaced their limbs but after replacing them when they took damage to those limbs the hp bar was showing yellow like a bandaged limb instead of red and wouldn't allow for repairs on the limbs. They'd regen hp over time but resting didn't affect the hp regen. I figure the game was kind of counting them as both natural and robotic appendages at the same time or something.
Any way after going through some experimenting with importing and loading with and without the limbs equipped and getting nowhere I finally found the fix.....throw them back in the peeler. The limbs would jank out a bit with the hp going up and down by 1 for a little bit before it righted itself and started taking damage as normal.
So the moral of the story being that the peeler is both the cause of and solution to all of life's problems....... particularly HN inquisitors

I was out walking my dog, ready to get back home to go to sleep, and then it happened. I did one last check of superstonk to get my dopamine hit that is our community and well, I got more than I asked for. Now I have too much energy to sleep because I am so fucking hyped for what I found. So here I am.
This beautiful post popped up at nearly midnight my time.
When it said watch in reverse, I had mixed emotions because one of my favorite post was the one with the opening to the White Stripes glitch mob remix. Go watch the video if you haven’t already. That’s one of my favorite songs for very personal reasons and the idea that GME was about to unleash something that caused a glitch was very exciting to me. I wanted that to be the foreshadowing that RK left us with.
But I like every other GME theory I read, it consumes me. I’m obsessed. So what the heck, let’s go watch everything in reverse.
Lucky for me I realized very quickly that when you go to the X iphone app and watch the latest video in full screen, you can just swipe up to see the next video. So, the next hour of my night was planned out.
That was an hour ago. I am so hyped about what I saw that I’ve decided to sit down and write out the my whole interpretation of what I saw. I don’t have answers for every single post but there does seem to be a theme that matches the theory that these are meant to watch in reverse.

The primary goal of this approach is to re-collateralize the dToken system with healthy loans sold against crypto, the backbone of our dToken system, everything else builds on top. It involves locking nearly all circulating DUSD and dTokens in tranches and releasing them successively based on predefined conditions.Goals

Problem Statement
Current measures to stabilize DUSD rely heavily on influencing market participants' behavior, making the peg too probabilistic. Even if we reach the peg, the assumption that enough collateralized loans are sold against crypto for the dynamic interest rates to maintain this peg is too probabilistic. Relying on assumptions for a peg is problematic, because market participant behavior cannot be controlled and predicted, even if incentivized. While I believe dynamic interest rates can consistently maintain a peg effectively once we reach healthy collateralization levels, the implemented fees are not an effective tool to overcome the massive liquidity of algo dTokens and DUSD circulating today.Proposed Solution
A new approach: instead of relying on voluntary actions of market participants, force-lock-up all DUSD and dToken liquidity, whilst providing opportunities and clear rules for paybacks based on system health.1. Locking all liquidity away and releasing it successively as needed
- The defined percentage* of DUSD are locked/removed from each owning addresses and are in equal parts allocated in 50 tranches (1-50). Those are freed/returned to the owning addresses based on predefined factors.
- The defined percentage* of dTokens and relevant LP tokens are locked/removed from each owning addresses and are in equal parts allocated in 50 tranches (51-100). Those are freed/returned to the owning addresses based on predefined factors.
- Locked LP tokens do not receive rewards, they are used to reward new liquidity providers. Exiting at peg is reward enough for those currently invested, no need to make it more expensive.
- As liquidity is then minimal, ongoing measures will buy the DUSD up immediately and incentivize the creation of backed DUSD loans sold against crypto. Those are the backbone of the peg, they are the priority of the proposed measures. All other decisions are secondary and all rely on reaching this.
2. Releasing Tranches
- Tranches with the same number are released together, this means all DUSD tranches are released first, all dToken and LP tranches are released later.
- The following system health conditions for releasing tranches are checked on oracle blocks to avoid high computational load:
Two tranches at a time: - DFI market cap 4 times greater than dToken System market cap - An algo ratio below 25% - Consistent 5% DUSD premium over the period between two futureswap blocks.
Three tranches at a time: - DFI market cap 6 times greater than dToken System market cap - An algo ratio below 20% - Consistent 10% DUSD premium over the period between two futureswap blocks.

This way, 2-10 million DUSD worth of dToken-system liquidity can be reintroduced into the system per week, given a healthy system state.
3. Measures to be Eliminated
- All additional pool swap fees are lifted, allowing for healthy leverage trades on DFI that can later support the DUSD peg. This part is crucial for a healthy restart. A collateralization ratio makes no difference if the DUSD are not sold against DFI as those need to be bought back when the dynamic interest rises due to a discount to support a peg.
- Reward allocations to DUSD bonds are removed; those will be redirected to the community fund until we find a better use for them. All existing DUSD bonds are released, and the freed-up DUSD are counted to the DUSD that may be locked in the tranches together with all other DUSD.
- All negative interest mechanisms are lifted. DUSD loops are unwound, and the freed-up DUSD are counted to the DUSD that may be locked in the tranches together with all other DUSD.
4. Measures to be Retained
- The futureswap mechanism will be retained. It is advised to analyze the futureswap behavior while we are at peg over an extended period. If the futureswap creates unnecessarily high amounts of algo tokens even when at peg, the following adjustment is suggested: making the futureswap spread variable and increasing it if an asset shows higher implied volatility over two consecutive futureswap blocks. This way, the chain gains a bigger trade advantage for stocks that tend to surpass the current 5% limit more often. This will burn more tokens and mint less.
- The buy and burn bot will be retained.
- The rebalancing of the community fund will be retained.
- Dynamic interests will be retained.
5. Introduction of a New dToken System-Wide Fee That Consistently Burns DUSD and dTokens
- A dToken-system-base-fee is implemented on DVM and DMC. This fee applies to all dToken and DUSD transfers from account to account and pool swaps on the DVM side and all token transactions on the DMC side. The fee is initially set to 10 basis points (0.1%). This fee is necessary to account for rising stock prices and reduce the algo ratio.
Percentage Locked
The percentage of liquidity to be locked is crucial as this is a one-time approach. Locking too much liquidity is not problematic, as it can be reintroduced if system health allows. However, locking too little is problematic because maintaining the peg and enabling re-collateralization through backed loans sold against crypto will not be possible. I argue for minimal liquidity leading to a peg allowing for healthy collateralization to support the peg via dynamic interest rates rather than excessive liquidity that the system cannot support. Therefore, I propose locking away 90% of all dToken-system liquidity, leaving about 20 million DUSD in liquidity for the restart. If the system is healthy, up to 10 million DUSD in liquidity can be reintroduced per week. If not, we will wait until the system is healthy enough to support the liquidity.Further Details

A hard fork will be necessary to implement these changes. Furthermore, cooperation is needed from relevant projects to handle the balances in smart contracts on the DMC. I would argue for future swapping all dTokens at the oracle price to DUSD, making the locking and releasing much easier. Additionally, the upside from here is 10x after fee on a repeg. Assets being worth times 10 should be enough to compensate the owners for the forced sale of their preferred dTokens. If not, we must release DUSD before dTokens, as dTokens might rise in value and the greater liquidity they provide would mean a slower payout for everybody, which is not fair to the people holding DUSD instead of dTokens.Q&A
Q: If we have little liquidity, users will be angry that the system cannot be used. A: Liquidity is a secondary issue for me, the more important question is if we can afford the liquidity. Q: But we have the stabilization fee. Can’t we just keep that instead of the base fee on all transactions? A: The stabilization fee makes healthy re-collateralization (sold against crypto) more challenging when the algo ratio is high because the user gets less crypto for his DUSD. When we have high algo ratios, we want more collateralization-based loans sold against crypto. It is the "collateralized loans sold against crypto" that maintain the peg if dynamic interests are raised. A loan left in the dToken system brings a low algo ratio but does nothing if I pay back a loan without buying the DUSD beforehand. Dynamic interest rates stabilize nothing in this case. By first eliminating most algo tokens and implementing a base fee, we can remove this fee and allow for healthy leverage trades supporting the system to occur in the first place.
Q: Why lock so much liquidity? A: This approach is a one-time silver bullet. It must be as deterministic as possible; I do not want to rely on probabilistic assumptions about how market participants will behave based on incentives and public information. In the past, single addresses hindered re-peg efforts, and we cannot predict which addresses will act against the peg efforts in the future. Therefore, we must lock substantial portions of everyone's liquidity. Liquidity is the cost in our current situation, and we aren’t at the peg because none of the measures or whales can afford it. If the chain were a person, it would be flat broke. We cannot afford the liquidity at this point. Let's gradually ramp up the expenses when and if we can afford it, but not before.

Also they stand forward in a special curve because it wouldn’t hinder the eyesight or pierce into the eyes when closing the eyes. If the eyebrows and eyelashes are too long, they will hinder the eyesight. That’s why they wouldn’t grow as long as the hair or beards. The nasal hairs can filter the inhaled air. If the cavity is filled by liquids, just as other cavities are, the eardrum is not able to vibrate because the liquids can’t contract. Besides, the cavity does not only need to be filled with air, but also needs to be connected to the outside world with a proper passage, to balance the static air pressure in the cavity with the outside air pressure. Otherwise, the air in the cavity will gradually be absorbed, causing the eardrum to sink excessively or damaging it. When the outside air pressure changes, (such as in mountain climbing, diving, the airplane takeoff or climate change), it will arouse uncomfortable feelings or lead to hearing malfunction. But the middle ear can’t be opened to the outside world directly, just like the external auditory canal or nostrils can. The reason is that the direct exposure will make the arriving waving sound reach the two sides of the eardrums at the same time via the external auditory canal and middle ear passage, counteracting the sound pressure. Thus the eardrums will not vibrate at all, unable to produce the hearing. So it is a difficult problem to connect the middle ear and the outside world. The number less than 3 or more than 3 would be insufficient or redundant. We can see the delicate and smart structure and function, and the supreme wisdom in them. They can’t be the accidental results. As the most important perception of human bodies, vision provides more information than that provided by all other perceptions. The vision is the perception of image and space and the visual organs must have the most precise and accurate structure completely different from other sensory organs. As a result, in the perspective of the embryo-genesis or neuro-anatomy, the main structure of the eyes is not just the common receptor. Instead, it is part of the cerebral cortex. The so-called optic nerves are completely different from other cerebrospinal nerves. The long handle of the middle ear cartilage is attached to its inner side, the tensile force of which makes the eardrum sink inside slightly to maintain certain tension. The structural symmetry of the retinas in the two eyes must be accurate to the utmost. Otherwise the images in the two eyes will not comply with each other and the ambiguity will occur. Besides, the corresponding images from the two eyes must be sent to the same visual center. Thus the optic nerves must have the corresponding special structure to realize the cross-transmission of the images. This is the unique “chiasma opticum” unique to the optic nerves. This function is not possessed by any other nervus cerebrospinalis because they don’t handle the information of images and space. If we use the computers and monitoring cameras to simulate the process of human vision, the input network of the computers has to have a similar chiasm. No other design can do it. Judging from the above, we can find all the human organs, structures and functions have shown the supreme wisdom. And these are the ways they should be. Some people think that human body has some useless organs, such as the thymus gland, appendix, tonsil and coccyx, in order to prove the human structure is imperfect. Some people used to believe that these organs were not that useful. Instead, they tend to arouse diseases such as appendicitis and tonsillitis. If these organs are cut off, it will not have much impact on the human body. In the past, people used to classify spleens and other organs into the useless organs. There was a list of useless organs in the past which included over 100 organs. But the list was long not because these organs are useless but because people at the time were ignorant. As more we know about the organs, most of them have been deleted from the list and there are only a few still remain in the list. Some people think that these organs are the leftovers of human evolution, which are called the “waste back organs” and use them as one of the evidences of evolution theory. This is a complete misunderstanding. Till not we have understood there are no such things as the “obsolescent organs”. It is simply the lack of knowledge of these organs. Take the thymus gland as an example. In the past, people didn’t know its function. Now we have understood it is the warning device of the human body against the inner and outer infection sources. As a result, the thymus gland contributes a lot to the human health. Another example, if the coccyx fractures, it will cause serious functional disturbance. So the coccyx is also an imperative part of human body. Some people might say these organs can trigger diseases. Then all human organs can lead to diseases, even brain and heart are of no exceptions. Why don’t we say the brain and heart are useless? Some organs, though they are not as important as the heart and brain and wouldn’t endanger life immediately when eliminated, are also useful. Just like if the hands or feet are lost, though not fatal, the human body is handicapped. After knowing the supreme and smart design of human structures and functions, you might want to know how they come into being. Who has designed and made such sophisticated and precise organs? We cannot avoid the question. Any truth-seeking person would admit that the extremely delicate organs and structures are not produced naturally or accidently. For instance, if someone gives you a top-class camera and tells you it is a natural one without designer or manufacturer; do you think his words are scientific and acceptable? The human body, which is even more delicate, accurate, flexible and practical, must have a supremely wise and capable creator behind it. On a spring Sunday morning in 1954, I saw a young stranger sitting in the chamber of a Church. When we started to talk, I knew that he was a student at Peking Union Medical College. He said to me, “Since I studied anatomy and physiology, I have felt the human body is really a wonder. It is not possible to understand it unless we interpret the wonder with a God.” He came to the church to seek an answer. The wonder of this young man is not the only example. I remember that when I was studying anatomy and physiology in school, some students surrounded our physiology teacher and kept asking him questions. Finally, the teacher, annoyed by so many questions, told us, “Please stop the questions because they will lead to religion in the end.” Because of the special political background at the time, the teacher’s warning silenced all the students. But his warning impressed me deeply and remained in my memory till today. My thought at that time was that the teacher was right because all the things were created by the God. Though he was not a Christian, he had to admit the truth and the further probe into the human body mysteries (part of the Universe mysteries) would definitely lead to the existence of the God (religion) in the end. Otherwise, it would be impossible to explain the wonders of the human body. The Bible says, “For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse.”(1:20 Romans 1) Was the teacher demonstrating his scientific spirit? No. The scientific spirit means the truth and boldly pursuit of the truth without avoiding any controversy. The teacher knew very clearly that one more step forward would lead to the God but he dared not move onto the path towards the truth. Instead, he asked his students to stop there. It has shown that many people refuse to admit the existence of God not because they don’t have the scientific spirit but because of the social pressure, individual consideration for their interest and prospect, just as what the teacher was doing at that time. Nevertheless, the existence of the God would not change. And we cannot live in such considerations for the reality forever. One day in the future, when we have to face the ultimate choice, we will have to face the supreme master who has created the Universe and the human beings. The Bible says, “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.” If we don’t accept the immoral God now, we have no excuse when it comes to the day. When we talk about the origin of all things in the Universe, some young people often ask, “You have said the humans are created by the God, then who has created the God?” The analogizing logics seem to be reasonable. But it is not true. Because the God is the creator instead of the created, you can’t link these together. The table is made by the carpenter. But you cannot say the carpenter and the table have the same origin. Human benings’ understand of the God is only limited to the enlightenment from the God to the humans. Otherwise, humans cannot understand the mystery of God’s nature. The God says, “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.” (Exodus 3:14 and Revelation 1:8). For the God, there is only the eternality, and there is no time, beginning or ending. Even in the scientific field, too many analogizing questions won’t be tolerated. One scholar was talking about the belief in the God with his students. One student asked suddenly and proudly, “Where does the Universe come from?” The scholar answers, “The Universe is created by the God.” The student continued to ask, “Who has created the God?” The scholar answered, “The God is Alpha and Omega and I am not created.” The student said, “This is not scientific at all.” The scholar then asked the student, “Where does the Earth come from?” The student answered, “The Earth comes from the Sun.” The scholar continued to ask, “Where does the Sun come from?” The student answered, “The Sun comes from the Galaxy.” The scholar asked again, “Where does the Galaxy come from?” The student hesitated and answered, “The Galaxy comes from the nature.” The scholar continued to ask, “Where does the nature come from?” The student couldn’t answer this question and said in anger, “The nature is the nature and comes naturally.” The scholar then laughed, “This is not scientific at all.” So we can conclude that the “scientific” answers are not scientific. Another example is that the sciences tell people that substances are composed of the molecules. Then what are the molecules composed of? The molecules are composed of the atoms. But what are the atoms composed of? They are composed of the electrons, protons and neutrons. Then what are the electrons, protons and neutrons composed of? Till now, we cannot find an answer to this question. The atomic physicists are now working hard to find the “elementary particle”. They are called “basic particles” because the scientists don’t expect the substances to be divided limitlessly. So they believe that one day they will find the ultimate component, the “elementary particle”. Of course, the scientists will not ask such question of “what is something composed of?” This is the extremity and everything ends here. The materialists claim that the Universe is limitless and that the materials are eternal and can be divided limitlessly, etc. They are simply the groundless conclusion of the philosophers. And there is an extremity in their logics, the materials. They say that the materials are Alpha and Omega but can’t tell where the materials come from. Now let’s have a look at the math. All numbers come from 1, followed by 2, 3…. You can’t ask what the 1 is because 1 is 1, and not other numbers. It means that 1 is the origin of all numbers. The Greatest Creator has created all things and the Greatest Creator is the origin of them. It will be meaningless to ask where the Greatest Creator comes from. |

For a year and a half pretty much every day after work I would drive home, take a shower and have a cup of coffee to relax myself before doing anything. For the duration of my coffee, I would always sit by the window while reading a book or watching TV. Most days were the same, I would get caught up reading, lose track of time and I'd spend the last few moments of sunlight looking out the window. It was a peaceful sight; city noises were replaced with kids' laughter.
One day I fell asleep in the chair and woke up some time after midnight to find my TV still on and the remote inside of my coffee cup,I was just gonna go to the bedroom and continue the slumber when I saw a glimpse of light up on the hill.
There was an old church up there, or what was left of it, but I've never seen anyone get even close to those ruins before let alone see someone go inside. It appeared as if one of the windows had a candle near it. My mind wandered and to this day I don't know why but I just stood there and couldn't take my eyes off of it. Then out of thin air, like someone jumped toward the window impetuously a pair of eyes appeared. I was paralyzed, the distance between me and them wasn't there, I was naked in the dark and those red eyes were the only thing I could see. I don't remember anything about that night from that point on, the next morning I woke up in my bed upstairs and even the air in the room felt queer.
When you can't explain something and you're also not all that eager to explain it, you forget things strangely fast.
A week went by and it was Friday, my friend had come over to stay the weekend since we don't see each other that often. We stayed up late and had a few drinks,so naturally when I asked him about the red glowing eyes we saw in the window the next morning, he sald he didn't even remember when he got to my place. But I couldn't forget, it was driving me crazy, I was scared, and then I wasn't, I was angry, then scared again, and if anything, very bewildered. On Monday I had decided to wait and look, and look I did.
Sometime after midnight, my eyes started itching, I rubbed them and thought to myself what in the holy hell am I even doing, then looked back and there they were.
Describing something Ilike that feels wrong, words could never paint the picture the way fear does it.
This time I was sane, aware of what is happening, something demonic was looking at me, and through me, from that window. I felt the air get cold and got kind of dizzy, it didn't take long before I closed the curtains and ran off to bed, knowing full well there was going to be no sleep that night.
It continued happening for some time, I would stop and watch the light until the eyes appeared, then I'd look away. That chair by the window became my favorite and my least favorite place in that house. It wasn't curiosity, it was fear that kept me looking. Yet there was something comforting about it, knowing the eyes were up there on the hill and making sure they're up there every night, away from me, made me feel safe.
Then one day something happened that gave me a spark of hope. Hope. It's the only thing stronger than fear, but, if you cling onto it too hard, sometimes it can crush you.
I was walking to the local store in the early morning and heard noise up on the hill. I saw some workers and machines up there so I went to check it out. The man in charge told me the old ruins were getting demolished. I wasn't sure how I felt about that but nonetheless by the time I got back they had started the work. I thought that whatever has been happening for the past few weeks was going to stop, and if I never had to see it again, I didn't have to know what it was. That day I called in sick and decided that this is going to be the last time I ever look.
There I was again, in the chair by the window, drinking coffee and hoping that when I look outside that window in an hour and a half, all I see is darkness up on that hill. Midnight came fast and I looked, I didn't want to leave but even after 15 minutes nothing happened, the light wasn't there and the eyes were gone. It's done. I let myself think that for a small second, and regretted it immediately.
Across the street, in my neighbor's window I saw them watching me. "Is this real?" I thought. In that moment everything had fallen apart, the strange feeling of comfort I had before was gone, something was changing and I didn't know what to do about it. What I didn't realize at the time was, malevolent as they were, those eyes were not the worst of it, not compared to what could follow. Then for the first time something started to change, the air got cold again, out of the darkness beneath the eyes I could see a nose, just the tip of it.
Then it started getting bigger as if it was slowly getting pressed against the glass, l knew what was to follow but couldn't bring myself to look away. There it was, the single most terrifying thing l've ever seen, a face. Is it a demon from hell?I thought. The deepest darkest part of hell, because what else, could leave me petrified like this? I couldn't tell you what went through my head at that moment but it was probably blank, looking back at it, death seems gentler.
Then the human inside of me woke up and I shut the curtains driven by fear,I ran to turn on every light in the house and lock the door, then locked myself up in the bedroom upstairs. It was implanted in my mind and I couldn't make it go away, like the face was coming toward me, and l was going to die.
Time was a strange concept for me in the hours that followed but nothing happened, I was in my room until I could see the first rays of sun through the blinds, then I went outside. Nothing was waiting to kill me and I could breathe again, I went around the house and while still trying to put my thoughts back together I saw something strange.
My neighbor didn't have a window on that side of the house.
Of course there's no window, there never was. I never saw the eyes in the window of the church, I didn't see them in my neighbor's window. I saw them in my window.
It was there all along, in the house with me, breathing it's cold air behind my neck...
