Streaming has shown me a completely different kind of evil people and almost all of them preach kindness and inclusivity while “protecting their communities” publicly but privately is a whole different animal.Once, as a baby streamer I went to one of those preachy kinda streamers who I thought was actually a pretty good friend cuz she said she loved me so much she called me her sister. I thought I was safe to confess the sensitive information that I had been excessively cyberstalked and sexually harassed by someone in the community, not that I wanted them to do anything about it but i wanted them to know why that person may be yelling his version of events to anyone that will listen when I inevitably have to ban him. At the time i did not know this person was a frienemy but when the time was right for them, they used that sensitive info to hurt me and made the man who sexually harassed me & cyber stalked me their mod, even tho they knew he went as far as threatening to kill me if I wasn’t his friend. Others on twitter came forward shortly after saying he’s done this before. AND on top of that, that same frienemy added their other streamer buddy who was more well connected with other streamers AND MODS as her mod too and he was actually the first out of everyone to victim blame me for being harassed, stalked, and threatened w\o asking for proof. When he found out I had proof, he lied to others saying I bullied the poor guy I banned and accused. He then confidently smear campaigned me (failed) on Twitter back then just because I wanted a public apology. This streamemod combo conman later became a very loud mod to the guy who publicly announced my cancellation and without a doubt in my opinion was one of the ones pushing him to do it.
THEN there's the kinds of “safe space acceptance of all” assholes that team up with the above assholes
These guys within themselves have a tight inner circle of people all groomed to be loyal (people that owe the leader something out of admiration for being helped through a life event-for example needing money for Christmas for your kids, money to stop a house being foreclosed on, money for whatever. OR false promises of success and support on twitch through various means) These kind of people love raising money for private causes and not actual charities to play hero to suffering individuals they raised the money for-so people feel indebted to them. These same streamers also have no problem only coming back to streaming to ask for personal donations to help them in their time of "need" literal days before a huge St Judes Community fundraiser event. Ponder that as you will.
They use their loyal gophers to stalk, bully & blacklists anyone thats makes them feel disobeyed, threatened, envious, or bitter. They even go against their own, people there aren’t allowed to have differing opinions because anything different than the leaders is “disrespectful” and personal slight towards them. Those people usually slowly get pushed unless they redeem themselves or give up dirt on someone on the watch list.
& to the people who courageously leave bc it becomes creepy finding out how fucked the inner workings really are, People like me, become public enemy #1. You all know what happened there and if you dont, comment and ill tell you about "The Great Cancelation of HeyyyitJess" fucking cringe bro im really not that important lmao
ANYWAY These kinda streamers use their loyals to pressure other creators or threaten to take their numbers away if they refuse to obey or stop being friends with someone they want deplatformed. Yes, I said Deplatformed. They do this so they don’t catch the fall when the truth comes out how fucked up this behavior is. They have an almost onion layered shield around them taking the full brunt of it all. If called out they could say something like "Those were my mods who conspired with those other people to plan a scandal, not me, but im sorry this is happening to you. I DIGRESS-But u know who does end up getting the fall? The streamer who they convinced enough to make a declaration LIVE ON STREAM March 21st 2024 for the first 45 minutes of stream (vod is still up and ill link it-if its taken down i have it recorded and saved per legal advice Paskaroni's March 21st 2024 VOD Rule #1 Stream. • QotD) **(assuming he is talking about me bc ik he was and so does everyone else) that im-**in not exact words but close-a bully, toxic, and he declared me and my 3 friends a danger to the whole community so in his words we were and are now “DEAD” in the community...In my POV, He said that not once but twice giggling with glee basically as he told the community to flame me out bc I apparently don’t deserve to be on Twitch, have success, friends, or a platform etc and that he knows the community is strong enough to make this happen. He then seemingly encouraged people to DM him to find out who he was talking about because he had no problem sharing all the names in order to get rid of the filth of the community. Also went on bragging that at CONs they all talk about us bad people and share notes with everyone to protect the whole website from us bullies (ooooo im so scary with my truth and autistic personality that seeks justice)
I want to draw more attention to the fact that the streamer said this ALL WITHOUT PROOF. & admitted on his own accord and free will ALL BY HIMSELF there was no proof, that there were alot of screenshots from the haters that didnt say much but that he wanted to give HIS 12 hater friends the benefit of the doubt even though he always saw me as a wonderfully positive part of the community. I guess I suddenly wasnt considered a friend which is oh so convenient. Not even considered enough so to get the same benefit of the doubt let alone a conversation in general. I wouldve happily handed over the link to the 5GB file of VODS, others testimonies via calls and VALID screenshots as well as a list of other peoples info who are willing to be CREDIBLE references that witnessed events as well but NOOOOO im too scary for that. Sorry tho guys I guess im not as evil as you all think i am especially not enough to go through with suing most of their asses like my lawyer wanted. And im poor as fuck so that should mean alot.
So back at it, now, who did him wrong? In my experience the kinda cult communities that do this bullshit is easy to spot once you know what this looks like. They manipulate people, and they dont discriminate, their prey could even be the most well meaning streamers- like the one who fell victim this time. (I'm very heartbroken that that streamer i linked did that to me live and essentially had hundreds of people leaving me hate dms, threatening me, threatening my friends, friends of friends, and stream leaders, but i still am mature enough to know he is a victim too in a way).
The problematic predatory streamers or communities like the ones responsible for this dumpster fire are usually the ones preaching and over amplifying positive vibes, safe space, inclusiveness, encouragement, acceptance, enabling etc bc they are a “close knit gamers of chosen family” or even the infamous kinda things some people say unironically “were totally not a cult-those people are cults OMG do you see how toxic...THAT STREAMER IS FAKE AF she is alllllll makeup look at and her simps. She's not even a good streamer or gamer she just has her simps play for her” seeing people saying that publicly on any platform seriously is......BIG RED FLAG oh and unfotunately get used to all the toxic men getting away with everything. sad but true. then you have me over here who gets cancelled for breathing wrong. BASICALLY notice if you join one of these kind of communities see how fast you can pick up on mean girl behavior. itll be obvious. I heard many cases where bank is freezing bank accounts of the users who are involved with the crypto transactions as some fraudster has filed cyber compliant against them which resulted in getting their bank account frozen.
But, What I'm really worried about is that this scam does not seem to be limited to the crypto anymore and can be exploited by some bad actors. Let's say some random dude deposit some cursed money (as small as 1k-5k) to your bank account [Now, you may ask how could random dude know my bank account...ahh well, all thanks to all UPI apps he just need to know your mobile number!!] And after that he files a cyber complaint against you citing fraud has been taken place in his bank account (something like Jamatara style) and money has been taken away. so cyber department may issue a account freeze order against your bank account. [Now you may say what's the issue as this is fake case and can be resolved quickly but let me tell you there were some horror stories which people had shared that they were not able to unfreeze their account even after 1-2 yrs. ]
Now a days, mostly everyone has their mobile linked to their bank account which makes their bank account accessible by knowing just the mobile number. Which I think pose a risk as I don't want some random dude depositing some cursed money to my account. Using the Alias UPI id instead of mobile number as a UPI number would be good idea.
Does anyone hear about such instances and provide any legal options one can have in such cases ? and is it really a big concern to worried about ??

We've been low contact with MIL since I was pregnant with D for a number of reasons. She always plays the victim, and if you challenge her on anything, she acts like she doesn't understand, cries, or lashes out. There’s a history of this type of behavior with MIL where it feels like she is being covertly aggressive but always acts innocent and confused. We are in our hometown visiting for the weekend and are staying with my family which is always an issues with MIL, and she says we favor them, but we don't enjoy being in their house and feel uncomfortable. MIL invited us for dinner at 5 o'clock, the kids had loads of energy so we decided to go to the park first to let the kids run around and get their energy out. I texted MIL around 3:50 to let her know our plan. She immediately replied, asking when we would be there because BIL was anxious to see the kids.
When we arrived, things were okay. MIL was acting weird, wanting to show me various things and all the prizes she won from the casino and offering them as gifts.(she goes the casino every week and people who bet money get prizes for being a gold memory base on how much they spend) She barely tries to talk to her son my HB and instead after I have said, I need to sit down my allergies are really bothering me and I need to close my eyes. She insists on me following her around the house to show me all the things they have. We had supper, and then they MIL asks if she can give our D her gift since they won't be coming for her birthday. Even though we have invited them she says they won't be coming since my mother is going up. So they gave our D her birthday present: a hat, sunglasses, and a t-shirt size 7/8-year-old. We don't expect much from them anymore, they have stopped asking for gift ideas and now just get junky gifts like plastic toys that break shortly after or have nothing to do with the kids interest. I thought it was not a scant for a birthday present for your only granddaughter on her 5th birthday. But what really upset my HB and I is after they started taking all of BIL's toys out of his room and showing them to her. All of a sudden, you could see D look at her gift bag, and sadness washed over her. She said, not in a demanding way but confused, "I want another gift." MIL, clearly not understanding, offered her a cup you put boiled eggs in and then proceeded to walk D around the house, offering her random things. D started crying, and MIL came downstairs while FIL went to check on her. D said, "NO, I WANT MY MOM!" So I went up, and D could barely get the words out before bursting into tears, saying she wanted to go home and she was trembling. I picked her up and motioned to HB, who already felt off and not into the situation, and started taking D to get her shoes on. She just kept crying heavily, saying she wanted to go home. MIL came up to us, asking, "What's wrong, D? I am so sorry I don't have anything else for you." She kept going on, and I put my hand up and said, "MIL, it's not about a gift. It's about realizing someone hasn't thought of you beforehand. Your gift was okay, but then parading a bunch of toys around after you gave her a shirt and hat is insensitive." Then MIL disappeared and came out with a full art set. D was still in tears, pleading to leave. She took it in shock, and then MIL gave her a hug. I was standing there, completely confused. So now I am left feeling like a psychopath for wondering if they got her the art set and took it away out of spite because we didn't come to dinner early enough. First time posting. Looking for advice and opinions regarding phone monitoring and trust in a relationship after it's been broken. I'm not interested in any advice on wether or not I should end the relationship. TL:DR at the bottom.
I met my boyfriend at work. (I know, dating coworkers isn’t a great idea, but here we are). I developed a crush on him, and after several months I eventually asked him if he’d be interested in going out/hooking up He hadn’t been in a relationship in over 10 years, and was a bit of a loner. His previous girlfriend was his first. They were together 7 years. She constantly cheated on him and left him, before they finally split for good. My boyfriend still suffers some PTSD from it, and has developed a bit of an avoidant attachment style.
We began seeing each other early last year and became intimate quickly. I felt myself falling for him rapidly, but one thing that began to bother me after several months of seeing each other is that he didn’t seem to be very interested in making our relationship official. I had asked him several times if we could be exclusive/boyfriend and girlfriend, but he always seemed to dodge the question.
A few times during my visits to his apartment, he had let slip that he’s still talking to his ex, and he still has feelings for her. This made me worried. I asked him many times to clarify where I stand with him, but he was never able to answer. During one of my visits, he told me that his ex had sent him nudes. I asked if he had sent any back. He said he didn’t. I asked him if we’ve been exclusive since we started seeing each other. He said we had been, and we agreed to continue being exclusive, even if we weren’t official yet.
After about 5 months of seeing each other, he still would not commit to me. I felt like he was hiding something about his ex. While he was at my place sleeping one night, I decided to go through his phone. I discovered that he had been sexting and flirting with his ex the entire time I had been dating him, and she had no idea he was also seeing me. I found messages saying how much he still loved her. It crushed me.
I sent his ex a message on Facebook to ask if he had told her that he has been seeing me. She said he mentioned me once, but she didn’t know we were still dating. She said she made it clear to him that she doesn’t want a relationship with him, but entertained his advances out of loneliness. I confronted him about this, and asked if they had hooked up since I had started seeing him. He said no. I later found out that was a lie. They had hooked up several times when he was supposedly at his parent's house. He got upset with me for invading his privacy, and we didn’t talk for a few days.
After a few days, we worked things out. I decided that he didn’t technically cheat on me since we weren’t officially a couple yet, but he did lie to me about his ex and about us being exclusive. After his ex made it clear to him again that she isn’t interested in dating him, he finally decided to make me his girlfriend. I was happy that we were finally an official couple, but still heartbroken over how we got there.
My trust in him was broken at this point. He lied about his ex to me several times before I discovered his big secret. Even when I had the evidence in my hand that he had been lying, he minimized it, and only gave me trickle truths to the things I could directly prove. So, in order to rebuild trust, I asked him to give me his Facebook password, so I could make sure his conversations with his ex remain Platonic. At first, he declined, but after about a week he finally gave it to me. At the same time, however, he changed the lock code on his phone.
He stopped seeing/flirting with his ex, but the fact that he changed the passcode to his phone made me feel like he was still hiding something. He insisted that he wasn’t hiding anything. He said that he felt it was needed after I went through his phone without permission, because he uses his phone to access his bank online sometimes, and is worried that I would try to steal from him. (I’ve never asked him for money, I make the same amount of money he does, I’m completely financially independent, and I pay for most of the meals when we order food). I told him I understand his concern, but his banking account/apps should already be password protected, so there wouldn’t be anything to worry about. This went on for several months until I was finally able to convince him to change his passcode back in order for me to trust him again.
A few weeks after he gave me access to his phone again, I decided to check it. He goes out of his way to cover his digital footprint. He has a habit of deleting emails, messages, and call logs as soon as they’re no longer needed. He also exclusively uses an incognito private browser. This is all fine, but it’s an important detail. While checking his phone, I decided to also check cached website data in his browser. I found cached data for a hookup website. I made a burner account on the website and found his profile. I was able to log into his account, since he used the same password for Facebook. I discovered that he signed up for the website using an email address that I had never seen him use before. I found several messages he exchanged with other people on the site asking them to meetup.
I confronted him about my findings, and he dismissed my concerns, telling me that he never actually intended to meet with anyone, he just likes to chat as an alternative to porn (I don’t mind porn.) I didn’t believe him, though. He quickly deleted his profile. Shortly after confronting him, I decided to try accessing the secret email account he used to check if he had anything else he was hiding. Unfortunately, he had already scrubbed the emails and deleted his account.
After a few days of arguing, we eventually reconciled. I told him that I can’t trust him anymore unless he allows me to install monitoring software on his phone/computer. He said no. This didn’t sit right with me. He kept insisting that what he did wasn’t a big deal, that he loved me, and that he wasn’t hiding anything else. I had my doubts. So, without his knowledge, I decided to install hidden tracking software on his phone and computer. I kept an eye on him for about 3 weeks. However, while I was checking the logs, I became increasingly disturbed by the porn he was choosing to view. This wasn’t anything illegal, but it was definitely not normal and a bit disturbing. I finally broke and admitted to him that I had bugged his devices. He flew off the handle and broke up with me because I betrayed him, and he couldn’t trust me anymore.
We eventually reconciled again after ~a week. I felt very hurt by the betrayal, but decided that I wanted to try to work things out. However, we couldn’t agree on what level of access to his devices/accounts is appropriate. He told me that monitoring his devices was never okay in any situation, no matter what he has done, and that my actions were creepy and cyberstalking. I told him I’m sorry for going behind his back, I felt like I needed to know the truth. (During my time monitoring him, I didn’t find any evidence of him cheating, but I will also note that I was not able to monitor everything he did, so he still could have cheated without me knowing.)
I told him that I would like for him to give me his blessing to monitor his devices so that we can rebuild the trust he broke. He refused, so I broke up with him again, but we ended up getting back together a few days later.
*Side note: I moved to this town a few years ago from out of state, I don’t have any friends or family out here, and don’t really have any friends in general.
I still had access to his Facebook account, and still checked it every few days. I found some messages to an attractive female friend of his where he had gone to her house the day after we broke up. The wording of his messages implied that something sexual may have happened when he was there. I asked him if anything sexual happened when he visited his friend. I told him that since we were broken up during this time, I wouldn’t hold it against him if they slept together, but for the sake of rebuilding trust, I felt like it was important that he at least be honest with me about it. He said nothing sexual happened.
A few days later I was reading the messages again and noticed that some of them were deleted. I asked him again, and he admitted that they made out a little bit, but nothing sexual happened. I still felt like he was holding back more detail, and kept pressing the issue, but he insisted that nothing more happened. (I found out a month later that he did in fact sleep with her.)
About a month later, I was doing my usual check of his accounts that I had access to. I found an email exchange he had been having for a couple of days with someone he found on a Craigslist type site. He had posted on the website soliciting hookups. In his email, he talked to this other person and made plans to meet up. There was no date set in stone, but they agreed he would go over to the other person’s house.
I confronted him about this. Asked him several times if he has anything he’s hiding from me. He insisted he wasn’t hiding anything. I told him I found his post/email chain. He got upset and said I shouldn’t have been snooping. Shortly afterward, he changed his passwords to all of his accounts that I had access to, and enabled 2FA. I broke up with him after that, and told him that I would only consider reconciliation if he agreed to let me install monitoring software on his devices. He is very careful to delete his history and cookies, never saves passwords, only logs into websites with incognito mode. He’s used secret email accounts in the past, which is why I believe that simple access to his devices and accounts isn’t enough to earn my trust back.
He refused my conditions for reconciliation, but insists he still wants to be together. We got back together after I broke down and walked back on my requirement.
TL:DR - My boyfriend has cheated, lied, and broken my trust several times. He and I both want to remain together and work things out. I met my boyfriend at work. (I know, dating coworkers isn’t a great idea, but here we are). I developed a crush on him, and after several months I eventually asked him if he’d be interested in going out/hooking up He hadn’t been in a relationship in over 10 years, and was a bit of a loner. His previous girlfriend was his first. They were together 7 years. She constantly cheated on him and left him, before they finally split for good. My boyfriend still suffers some PTSD from it, and has developed a bit of an avoidant attachment style.
We began seeing each other early last year and became intimate quickly. I felt myself falling for him rapidly, but one thing that began to bother me after several months of seeing each other is that he didn’t seem to be very interested in making our relationship official. I had asked him several times if we could be exclusive/boyfriend and girlfriend, but he always seemed to dodge the question.
A few times during my visits to his apartment, he had let slip that he’s still talking to his ex, and he still has feelings for her. This made me worried. I asked him many times to clarify where I stand with him, but he was never able to answer. During one of my visits, he told me that his ex had sent him nudes. I asked if he had sent any back. He said he didn’t. I asked him if we’ve been exclusive since we started seeing each other. He said we had been, and we agreed to continue being exclusive, even if we weren’t official yet.
After about 5 months of seeing each other, he still would not commit to me. I felt like he was hiding something about his ex. While he was at my place sleeping one night, I decided to go through his phone. I discovered that he had been sexting and flirting with his ex the entire time I had been dating him, and she had no idea he was also seeing me. I found messages saying how much he still loved her. It crushed me.
I sent his ex a message on Facebook to ask if he had told her that he has been seeing me. She said he mentioned me once, but she didn’t know we were still dating. She said she made it clear to him that she doesn’t want a relationship with him, but entertained his advances out of loneliness. I confronted him about this, and asked if they had hooked up since I had started seeing him. He said no. I later found out that was a lie. They had hooked up several times when he was supposedly at his parent's house. He got upset with me for invading his privacy, and we didn’t talk for a few days.
After a few days, we worked things out. I decided that he didn’t technically cheat on me since we weren’t officially a couple yet, but he did lie to me about his ex and about us being exclusive. After his ex made it clear to him again that she isn’t interested in dating him, he finally decided to make me his girlfriend. I was happy that we were finally an official couple, but still heartbroken over how we got there.
My trust in him was broken at this point. He lied about his ex to me several times before I discovered his big secret. Even when I had the evidence in my hand that he had been lying, he minimized it, and only gave me trickle truths to the things I could directly prove. So, in order to rebuild trust, I asked him to give me his Facebook password, so I could make sure his conversations with his ex remain Platonic. At first, he declined, but after about a week he finally gave it to me. At the same time, however, he changed the lock code on his phone.
He stopped seeing/flirting with his ex, but the fact that he changed the passcode to his phone made me feel like he was still hiding something. He insisted that he wasn’t hiding anything. He said that he felt it was needed after I went through his phone without permission, because he uses his phone to access his bank online sometimes, and is worried that I would try to steal from him. (I’ve never asked him for money, I make the same amount of money he does, I’m completely financially independent, and I pay for most of the meals when we order food). I told him I understand his concern, but his banking account/apps should already be password protected, so there wouldn’t be anything to worry about. This went on for several months until I was finally able to convince him to change his passcode back in order for me to trust him again.
A few weeks after he gave me access to his phone again, I decided to check it. He goes out of his way to cover his digital footprint. He has a habit of deleting emails, messages, and call logs as soon as they’re no longer needed. He also exclusively uses an incognito private browser. This is all fine, but it’s an important detail. While checking his phone, I decided to also check cached website data in his browser. I found cached data for a hookup website. I made a burner account on the website and found his profile. I was able to log into his account, since he used the same password for Facebook. I discovered that he signed up for the website using an email address that I had never seen him use before. I found several messages he exchanged with other people on the site asking them to meetup.
I confronted him about my findings, and he dismissed my concerns, telling me that he never actually intended to meet with anyone, he just likes to chat as an alternative to porn (I don’t mind porn.) I didn’t believe him, though. He quickly deleted his profile. Shortly after confronting him, I decided to try accessing the secret email account he used to check if he had anything else he was hiding. Unfortunately, he had already scrubbed the emails and deleted his account.
After a few days of arguing, we eventually reconciled. I told him that I can’t trust him anymore unless he allows me to install monitoring software on his phone/computer. He said no. This didn’t sit right with me. He kept insisting that what he did wasn’t a big deal, that he loved me, and that he wasn’t hiding anything else. I had my doubts. So, without his knowledge, I decided to install hidden tracking software on his phone and computer. I kept an eye on him for about 3 weeks. However, while I was checking the logs, I became increasingly disturbed by the porn he was choosing to view. This wasn’t anything illegal, but it was definitely not normal and a bit disturbing. I finally broke and admitted to him that I had bugged his devices. He flew off the handle and broke up with me because I betrayed him, and he couldn’t trust me anymore.
We eventually reconciled again after ~a week. I felt very hurt by the betrayal, but decided that I wanted to try to work things out. However, we couldn’t agree on what level of access to his devices/accounts is appropriate. He told me that monitoring his devices was never okay in any situation, no matter what he has done, and that my actions were creepy and cyberstalking. I told him I’m sorry for going behind his back, I felt like I needed to know the truth. (During my time monitoring him, I didn’t find any evidence of him cheating, but I will also note that I was not able to monitor everything he did, so he still could have cheated without me knowing.)
I told him that I would like for him to give me his blessing to monitor his devices so that we can rebuild the trust he broke. He refused, so I broke up with him again, but we ended up getting back together a few days later.
*Side note: I moved to this town a few years ago from out of state, I don’t have any friends or family out here, and don’t really have any friends in general.
I still had access to his Facebook account, and still checked it every few days. I found some messages to an attractive female friend of his where he had gone to her house the day after we broke up. The wording of his messages implied that something sexual may have happened when he was there. I asked him if anything sexual happened when he visited his friend. I told him that since we were broken up during this time, I wouldn’t hold it against him if they slept together, but for the sake of rebuilding trust, I felt like it was important that he at least be honest with me about it. He said nothing sexual happened.
A few days later I was reading the messages again and noticed that some of them were deleted. I asked him again, and he admitted that they made out a little bit, but nothing sexual happened. I still felt like he was holding back more detail, and kept pressing the issue, but he insisted that nothing more happened. (I found out a month later that he did in fact sleep with her.)
About a month later, I was doing my usual check of his accounts that I had access to. I found an email exchange he had been having for a couple of days with someone he found on a Craigslist type site. He had posted on the website soliciting hookups. In his email, he talked to this other person and made plans to meet up. There was no date set in stone, but they agreed he would go over to the other person’s house.
I confronted him about this. Asked him several times if he has anything he’s hiding from me. He insisted he wasn’t hiding anything. I told him I found his post/email chain. He got upset and said I shouldn’t have been snooping. Shortly afterward, he changed his passwords to all of his accounts that I had access to, and enabled 2FA. I broke up with him after that, and told him that I would only consider reconciliation if he agreed to let me install monitoring software on his devices. He is very careful to delete his history and cookies, never saves passwords, only logs into websites with incognito mode. He’s used secret email accounts in the past, which is why I believe that simple access to his devices and accounts isn’t enough to earn my trust back.
He refused my conditions for reconciliation, but insists he still wants to be together. We got back together after I broke down and walked back on my requirement.
TL:DR - My boyfriend has cheated, lied, and broken my trust several times. He and I both want to remain together and work things out. The only way I feel I would be able to trust him is if he allowed me to install tracking software on his phone since he keeps everything deleted. He refuses. What should I do?

Was contemplating Rivian’s future as my R1S is in service (nothing major). Managed to get a Mustang MachE and have been driving that for a few days. Current owner of a Model 3 as well. For reference, been driving EVs since 2014 including BMW i3, Leaf, e-Golf, Fiat 500e, Model 3 and now R1S and the MachE as of a few days ago. Have also driven the Model Y and Model S but not extensively.

The MachE, I’m truly sorry if you have one. Sure this is subjective but it’s my post so I get to be subjective, the MachE is like you didn’t know where to park your money and you decided that burning it was better, that you needed to be miserable but pretend to be happy. Drive is comfortable but it “drives” like poop (lots of understeer), acceleration is lacking, UI/Controls all feel dated, even with Apple Car play (feel free to hate on this post if you like Car play). I understand some of the conveniences it brings but it cluttered the UX for me so meh. What’s the deal with the stupid startup/shutdown music and why do I have a “start” button again? Still better than the 500e ignition switch with key for an electrical vehicle but that was clearly a compliance car, the MachE is not. The interior door handle is cute but also silly. Interior overall feels cheap. The rear hatch cover is flimsy as heck. The software is so unpolished and that volume button in the screen looks kinda cool but limits what you can do, software wise) and the novelty wears off quickly. I could go on, but this car just isn’t for me. Every drive I find myself calling it names. Unpleasant ones.
The Model Y, assuming no build quality problems and feelings aside of the man in charge, it’s a decent car. Good performance, good tech, reasonably smooth ride, doesn’t understeer and just drives reasonably well. Good storage. A bit lacking/barren on the interior. Overall reasonable package for a good price if you like an egg-shaped vehicle on wheels. The Model Y and Model X both do nothing to inspire on the outside, for me, and to each their own.
If this is Rivian’s competition for the R2/R3S, Rivian will eat this market alive IMO. Yes I’m aware there are other vehicles/contenders out there like the Volvo, perhaps one day Lucid’s SUV etc.. but I don’t have experience with them or they’re not out yet so I can’t comment on those.

My ex and I broke up years ago now but we have stayed in contact because of a dog. He would always be the first to reach out for the last couple years..several issues and with how he dealt with things made it really hard for me to want to speak to him but we we’re still on decent terms. After he owed me a lot of money and never tried to pay me back, it was hard for me to not see him in a negative light. This along with how he dealt with everything post breakup made it hard but We got a dog together so we always agreed to stay In contact to be able to check on him. He would reach out first almost always but I would check in on the pup and try to respond.. Anyways he eventually got over my short replies... I also moved away and never told him which he took really personally. Anyways fast forward to now.. a couple months ago he told me he was going to delete me number and stop reaching out. I know I was being short but always replied to him. Now he won’t even respond to me at all when trying to reach out. A part of me can’t be mad because I had stopped entertaining the idea that we’d get back together but… never thought we would just never speak again? I just wanted some space to deal with grief if my closest parental figure and other stressful things in life. Anyways I reached out for the first time in years (he would always be the first) about a month ago and have a couple times since with no response.. he didn’t block me so I can see they’re going through. I want him to be happy I guess I selfishly thought we could Still be able to reach out to eachother if we needed anything..I guess my story is a good example of why to go no contact right away to avoid still feeling some type of way about an old relationship. So, as the title says, I am currently using 2 apple IDs, one as my personal apple ID, and one for purchases/subscriptions and the like, which was owned by my dad, which was his personal apple ID. We shared purchases basically. I still have my dad's old iPhone (with his own phone number still connected to it) and iPad, and apple does not know he has passed away yet. I'm not sure how long this situation can last though, and I am a bit uncomfortable with all my purchases essentially tied to a dead mans account. I don't know if one day dad's account will be locked for some reason basically and I cant get my purchases back. And of course his iPhone/iPad wont last forever, so I might need to upgrade them eventually just to keep access to his apple ID. Not to mention the extra money I am spending on my phone bill every month keeping his phone number working just for his apple ID.

Once I saw the notifications of the threat coming in from that second number, I didn't even open it and blocked and reported them both. I didn't pay a dime and don't even know what amount the wanted. Went to work on putting my profiles on max privacy, changed my pfps, changed my usernames, ...
It's now been 1 week and almost 12 hours later. Nothing has happened in regards to anything being leaked. I have not heard anything from the scammer again, not with a new number or any other social channel. No friend or family member has contacted my about getting any video. Nothing for more than a week now.
The fact they're Philippine criminals did allow me to do lots of research since it's sadly typical for that country. Luckily this means that there are prison sentences starting from 7 years and fines of around 10.000 euros. These elements do make me believe that I might be through that experience without any harm following.
I have had some DMs with victims here, used a public help line to explain my story to a listening stranger and filed a complaint with local law enforcement. These and much more got me through the suicidal phase.
There are plenty of polls and stories that'll show you how unlikely it is for them to actually leak. The risk, time and money they have to invest is simply almost never worth it.
I feel like I wanna move on from this, leave the past behind but I think I'll need another week of being in the clear to do so. I am remembering one map in particular which is TKOK RPG (The Kingdom of Kaliron), which was one of the more sophisticated ones compared to the likes of Twilight or Black Road. It had a full custom inventory, actual tanking with threat, complex bosses, world scaling with player numbers etc..
Does anybody know a more modern game that plays in a similar way? So RTS style top-down clickers but still each player controlling only one character, (I guess ARPGs technically fit that description and I love those too but I mean something slower paced and teamplay oriented here, like the good ol' tank/healedps trinity for example)
