2024.05.19 07:53 SigmaINTJbio Death

As logical people, with a great capacity for logically interpreting the world around us, and an understanding of the biological inevitably of death, how do you cope with it?
Although many of us feel an extremely strong bond with pets, I’m more interested in how we deal with the death of a loved one. I have never married, but have suffered the losses of both of my siblings (older brother when I was 14, and younger sister when I was 22).
I’m now 60 and my mother has had two strokes. My father is stage IV prostate/bone cancer and will be dead within weeks if not days.
So my question is, what is the interplay between logic and emotion for the INTJ when dealing with the death(s) of family? For reference, my dying father is a malignant narcissist who ONLY criticized me for my entire life. The death of my brother caused me to become a Sigma Male INTJ since my family exploded and I was left on my own to figure out what life was about. That probably helped me become INTJ, and I believe it caused me to be a Sigma Male.
I can’t answer all comments, or even any, but I WILL read them to try and learn from you fine people.

2024.05.19 07:53 SorryUncleAl Tips or Advice on AFSC Choice Process?

Sorry if this question is too redundant or vague.
I'm looking forward to enlisting soon to give my life some direction, opportunity, and excitement. I have some vague artistic aspirations that I'm continually trying to fashion into some kind of career but I'm not really sure what AFSC to choose! I also have other career aspirations to become a psychotherapist but nothing really lines up with that besides Mental Health Service which might as well be Admin.
I was set on EOD for awhile before I realized that I didn't really want the job badly enough to go through such a rigorous pipeline and risk washing out into a shit job, especially when I'm not very mechanically-inclined. I like learning about explosives and it sounds super cool but I dont think its for me, at least not the current me. Since I'll be going into all this as a freshly-minted adult I figure it'd be better if I wasn't worried about failing the EOD pipeline while I'm adjusting to this new chapter, and if it really calls to me then I can retrain later without worrying about failing and getting thrown into MX.
I went in actually being torn between airborne linguist and EOD before I since changed my mind. I enjoy learning languages and have some experience in a few, and doing it as aircrew instead of a windowless cubicle could give me the variety, cameraderie, excitement, mental challenge, and travel opportunities I've been looking for. I've also wanted to learn a language to fluency for awhile, and if I'm really lucky, I could even get Korean, which would be awesome cause I'm Korean-American and have always wanted to seriously learn. But unlike EOD, I have to list another 8 or 9 jobs alongside airborne linguist that I wouldn't mind getting instead of getting a guarunteed job contract.
I already took the AFWIN survey and the only jobs that seemed interesting were Intel and Flight Ops / Command&Control. Stuff like C&C Battle Ops and Command Post sound good so I'll put those down. I might but Public Affairs down too.
So, any advice on picking those remaining jobs, based on what I'm looking for? Is EOD secretly the right choice that I will excel in and lead me to greatness? Should I go for 9J000 instead? What's your job like?

🔗Dorman Emergency Door Unlock Tool with Vinyl Grip

https://preview.redd.it/ssvyme07ob1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=99f8476a67c556974c558632ea0d2efc7a69de0a
Well, my experience with this Dorman Emergency Door Unlock Tool has been quite an adventure, let me tell you. I mean, I've always been a bit of a worrier, especially when it comes to my car door. I've had my fair share of lockouts, and it's never a good time. But this little tool, it's changed everything!
First off, I love how versatile it is. I can reshape it to fit the thickness of my door and the location of the lock. It's like it's tailor-made just for me, and my car! Plus, it comes with a nice vinyl hand grip. It makes it so much easier to use. It's like holding onto a friendly, familiar face in a moment of pure panic.
Another great thing about this tool is that it's portable. It folds up so neatly, like a little origami masterpiece. It fits perfectly in my pocket, purse, or any other compartment I can find. It's like having a magic trick up my sleeve, always ready to save the day.
But, let's be real, no product is perfect. I have to admit, this tool can sometimes be a bit of a troublemaker. It's not always as smooth as I'd like it to be. There have been a few times when it's stuck in the narrow space between the door and the weather stripping. It's kind of like trying to force a square peg into a round hole, you know? It can be a bit frustrating.
However, on the bright side, I've found that by taking a little extra time and being patient, I can usually get it to work. And when it does, it's such a relief! It's like a personal victory, and it makes me feel so smart and resourceful.
So, would I recommend this product? Absolutely! It's not perfect, but it's worked wonders for me. It's like having a little insurance policy tucked away in my pocket, always there to help me out when I need it most. I'm just glad I stumbled upon it.

🔗Lock Technology 4-Piece Easy Access Folding Door Opening Kit

https://preview.redd.it/scl6xh67ob1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f050ad141adf382263d7dcfea99d013d88623cc9
I recently discovered the Lock Technology 145 Easy Access Folding Door Opening Kit, and it has become an indispensable tool for unlocking my car doors. This compact device is a true lifesaver when I've locked my keys inside or when I need to access the trunk in a hurry.
The highlights that caught my attention are the screws that don't require a coupler, which have made it incredibly easy to use. Plus, the collapsible design allows for easy storage in my glove compartment. Another great feature is the presence of a middle extension piece that covers the entire car and can be used for long reach applications. The shorter tip is perfect for accessing lock buttons, while the glowing tips on models 135-2B and 135-2C are an excellent innovation for nighttime use.
One downside I experienced was the need for more precise angle adjustments when trying to unlock my car doors. While the rigid design facilitated easier access through the window, it could be trickier for those with less experience or unsteady hands. Other than that minor inconvenience, this door opening kit has been a game changer for me.
So, if you're someone who often finds themselves in need of a last-minute or after-hours unlock solution, I highly recommend giving the Lock Technology 145 Easy Access Folding Door Opening Kit a try. You won't be disappointed!

Imagine locking your keys in your car. It's a frustrating and stressful situation, but with the Universal Lockout Tool, you can save yourself some time and money. This ingenious tool works with most American cars, as well as some international brands such as Audi, Toyota, and Volkswagen.
The best part? It's made of sturdy metal, giving you the confidence to use it without worrying about damaging your vehicle. It measures about 5/8" x 22", making it compact enough to carry around in your glove compartment or tool kit.
While some users have had issues with its thinness and flexibility, many professionals find it a decent entry-level tool for those occasional lockouts. Plus, at its affordable price, it's definitely worth considering as an insurance policy against those unexpected key-locking mishaps.
But remember, practice makes perfect. Always read the directions included on the back of the package and familiarize yourself with the tool before attempting to use it on your car. With some patience and a bit of finesse, you'll be able to unlock your vehicle in no time!

🔗Geevorks Power Door Lock Actuator 12V

https://preview.redd.it/muh2e2z7ob1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d19305a1e6ea49f50436e7ed756977e30c865fab
As a car enthusiast, I was excited to try out the Geevorks 12V door lock actuator. This kit made upgrading my old manual door locks to automatic ones a breeze! The installation was relatively easy, and the product included everything from door lock actuators to remote controls. The remote controls allowed me to lock and unlock my car from a distance, giving me peace of mind when I step away from my vehicle.
One of the main highlights for me was the trunk release button, adding an extra layer of convenience when I need to access my trunk. Additionally, the door lock actuator can be used in remote control and alarm systems, making it a versatile product for various car security needs.
On the downside, the remote control distance could be improved. In some cases, I experienced a weaker signal which made locking or unlocking the car from a distance less reliable. Despite this minor inconvenience, overall, the Geevorks door lock actuator has made my driving experience more secure and convenient.

🔗Car Door Unlock Tool with Vinyl Grip

https://preview.redd.it/c6x7rm58ob1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=803f575bfc977f1e89d1fc88355828684cde5c1a
Dorman's Emergency Door Unlock Tool is a handy little gadget that can save your day if you accidentally lock your keys inside your car. Imagine the relief of unlocking your car door within seconds using the slim design of this tool, which can be easily folded to fit in your pocket, purse or other compartments. The vinyl hand grip makes it comfortable and easy to use even in tight spaces.
However, there are some downsides to consider. Some users found it difficult to get the tool past the window seal and mentioned it folds up easily during use. It may not work effectively for all types of car doors due to their varying thickness and lock locations.
Overall, this tool can be quite useful for those who occasionally find themselves locked out of their vehicle. But be aware that it might require some practice or patience to get it right depending on your particular car model. So, if you're looking for a quick solution to this common mishap, Dorman's Emergency Door Unlock Tool could be worth a shot.

🔗Universal 10-Piece Vehicle Unlock Tool Kit

https://preview.redd.it/s6357qm8ob1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a98a6022487db229e198a018819a6715ec59de81
I recently had an unfortunate experience where I locked myself out of my car. Panicking, I remembered the Universal 10-Piece Vehicle Unlock Tool Kit I'd heard about. Its assorted tools and convenient pouch seemed perfect for this situation. Upon pulling it out of the bag, I was immediately disappointed by the poor instructions. The metal tools felt flimsier than anticipated, bending on the first attempt. However, the variety of tools allowed me to eventually unlock my car door, although not without a fight. I wouldn't recommend this to a friend, but it did save me from an expensive professional service.
The tool kit is compact and easy to carry, making it a handy emergency tool for drivers. The metal tools are versatile, catering to different vehicle models. The convenient pouch is spacious enough to hold all the tools. However, the build quality of the tools is disappointing, as they seem to bend easily under pressure. Overall, it's a useful tool kit for occasional use, but don't expect it to last a lifetime.

🔗Unlock Your Car Door with Ease: LTI135 2-Piece Easy Access ToolKit

https://preview.redd.it/tw4kx129ob1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=99dbc9a67e834fef37c0f4356ab77c6c6aeadaad
I recently used the Lock Technology Easy Access Door Unlocking Tool Kit 135 in a tricky situation where I locked myself out of my car. To my relief, this 2-piece tool easily collapsed for convenient storage and extended to reach the car's windows. The whale tail tip design worked like a charm on the lock surfaces, making it a breeze to unlock my car door. Plus, the included plastic slip jim and door wedges provided extra support.
However, despite the overall positive experience, I did face a minor issue with this kit. The lack of a highlight feature in the product description made it somewhat challenging to understand the exact specifications of each component. Additionally, the green color of the tool might not appeal to everyone's taste.
In conclusion, the Lock Technology Easy Access Door Unlocking Tool Kit 135 proved to be a reliable and effective solution for my car lockout predicament. Its collapsible design, whale tail tip, and additional accessories make it a worthwhile investment for those looking to keep a handy tool in their vehicle for emergencies.

🔗Glow-in-the-Dark Car Door Unlocking Tool Kit with Lock Knob Lifter and Paint Protector

https://preview.redd.it/m15v5eb9ob1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b7b2cb2558331b8dc5735088bb6188452d7505ae
As a reviewer who has experienced the joy of retrieving keys from locked cars, I can attest to the life-saving capabilities of the Steck Big Easy Glow with Wedge Lockout Tool Kit. This kit has everything you need to rescue someone from their own forgetfulness or mischief at any hour of the day or night. The glow-in-the-dark yellow hue is not only cool but also incredibly functional, allowing you to see the tool even through tinted windows.
One aspect that really stood out for me was the easy wedge feature. It offers controlled opening of the car door for insertion of the Big Easy Glo, making it incredibly easy to access the inside of the vehicle without causing any damage. Additionally, its non-marring wedge prevents scratches or damages to your car, ensuring your beloved vehicle stays pristine even after a minor lockout incident.
However, despite its many positives, there are a few cons worth noting. The included air wedge seems to be somewhat delicate and may not last as long as other parts of the kit. Also, while the kit is effective on 98% of all cars and trucks, there might be some models or makes that are not compatible with this tool.
In conclusion, if you're someone who often encounters people locked out of their cars, then the Steck Big Easy Glow with Wedge Lockout Tool Kit is definitely worth considering. It's easy to use, effective, and offers an array of useful features that cater to different types of car locks. While it may have some minor drawbacks, overall, it's a reliable tool that can save both time and money when used appropriately.

🔗Visible Pink Door Unlock Kit for Cars

I have been using the Steck Lockout Tool Kit Big Easy for over a year now, and let me tell you, it's been an absolute game-changer. This tool has saved me countless times when I've locked my keys inside the car, much to the amusement of my friends.
One of the first things that stood out was the high visibility pink powder coating on its 55-inch long handle. In the middle of the night or during a snowstorm, finding this pink tool is a breeze compared to the black ones I used before. Plus, the improved non-marring wedge is now wider, longer, and smoother, making it even easier to use in various car models.
While the Big Easy is primarily designed for unlocking car doors, it also features a lock knob lifter, which comes in handy for cars with flat lock knobs at the top of the door. No more trying to improvise with a wire hanger or credit card - the Big Easy does it all.
However, there are a couple of minor drawbacks. Some users might find the storage size of the tool inconvenient, and it would be great if the package included a pump-up air bag for extra versatility.
Overall, the Steck Lockout Tool Kit Big Easy has been a reliable and convenient addition to my toolbox. With its 55-inch long handle and high visibility pink coating, I can quickly and easily unlock any car door without causing damage. If you're someone who frequently misplaces their keys or finds themselves locked out of their vehicle, I highly recommend giving this tool a try.

I recently installed the Biltek Power Car Door Lock and Unlock Kit in my Chevy Colorado, and I must say, it has been a game-changer. Before, I had to manually lock and unlock each door, but now, everything is just a button press away. The package included everything I needed to get started, from the simple diagram to the main module and actuators. Plus, it's compatible with my alarm system, so I can control everything right from my alarm remote.
The standout feature for me is the keyless entry. It's so convenient to hop in the car and just unlock the doors with a push of a button. The only downside I noticed was that the installation process took some time and effort, but once it was done, everything worked seamlessly.
Overall, I highly recommend the Biltek Power Car Door Lock and Unlock Kit to anyone looking to upgrade their vehicle to a central locking system with keyless entry. It's easy to use, reliable, and a great investment for any car owner.

🔗Universal Door Lock and Unlock Conversion Kit for 2, 3, 4 Car Doors

I recently upgraded my car with the Biltek CX-402 Universal Central Door Lock and Unlock Conversion Kit, and I must say it's made a world of difference in terms of convenience. The kit is easy to install, requiring no additional hardware and coming with a clear diagram that guides you through the process.
One of the standout features is its universal compatibility, fitting all known cars, trucks, SUVs, and vans. This has been particularly useful for me, as I often drive different vehicles. The Central locking system provides a state-of-the-art solution, converting manual door locks into a fully functional keyless entry system.
However, there's a downside to this product - the poor-quality wires. The wires were the only problem I encountered during installation, which was quite frustrating. Despite this, the Biltek CX-402 is an overall solid choice for anyone looking to upgrade their vehicle's locking system.

I recently got my hands on this LTI LT-126 Easy Access Tool and boy, has it been a game-changer for me! After suffering countless failed attempts to unlock doors in tight spaces or with tricky locks, this little tool has made things so much easier. The whale tail tip design is pure genius, allowing it to grip the lock more securely and catch it without much effort. Plus, the fact that you can use it with or without the vinyl tips depending on your preference just adds to its versatility.
What I particularly appreciated was how the tool came packaged in a simple yet sturdy custom kraft cardboard box. Not only did it make the whole experience feel more special, but also added an environmental touch which is always a welcome sight.
However, one thing that could have been even better was if the tool had come with some detailed instructions on how best to handle it, especially for first-time users. Nonetheless, once you figure out the right technique, this LTI LT-126 Easy Access Door Tool truly lives up to its name!

As a frequent traveler, I've found the Grip 8pc Lockout Tool Kit to be an absolute lifesaver. Imagine being stuck outside your car on a sweltering day, with no spare key or anyone to help you out. That's where this tool kit comes in. It's got everything you need to unlock your car door in no time.
One of the standout features of this kit is the slim jim bars - they're so thin yet sturdy, you'll wonder how they're able to pry open even the toughest doors. The slim jim bars are backed up by other useful tools like the wire form S hook slide lock tool and the wonder tool. Together, they make sure you're never locked out for long.
On the flip side, I did find the metal parts to be slightly flimsier than I'd hoped. It's not a deal-breaker but it does make me wary of using this kit too frequently. However, for occasional usage or as a backup tool, the Grip 8pc Lockout Tool Kit definitely earns its keep.
In conclusion, this tool kit has proven to be an essential part of my travel gear. It's well-made, easy to use, and offers a range of tools for different types of car doors. I rarely ever eat out but - any produce or other products that are of especially good value in this region?
I’ve been looking into subs like EatCheapAndHealthy and Frugal and the like but figured I’d see if anyone has any Provo-specific advice. Thanks :)

2024.05.19 07:51 SillyWoodpeckers Why did my (26f) ex (25m) leave a thank you note at my door?

So basically I've been trying to get context on the situation for a little while. Pretty much everyone in my life makes me feel like I'm screwed . Therapists included. I'm sorry if this doesn't make sense. I've very confused and disoriented right now. Every one makes me feel like I'm beyond help.
So on Valentine's Day, my roommate overdosed and died. We were Incredibly Close and I would consider him my first love. The relationship had ended because I watched him overdose three times before I had to move out. I had known him for 7 years and he was absolutely my best friend and was encouraging, patient, helped me pursue my dreams.
For five of the years that I had known my roommate I was also dating my ex on and off. He admits to love bombing me in the beginning. Usually you would break up with me and it would be really messy. He would just absolutely like verbally trash me in long text messages. I used to engage in trash and back but eventually I realized that it wasn't hurting or doing anything to him . He himself mentioned that he blocked everything out that I said during those times . But I remember everything. if I blocked him he would make other accounts or he would call like a hundred times. But you would always come back a few months later after dating someone else.
For 5 years it was this on and off weird relationship that even my roommate would get annoyed by. My ex would come back swooping in saying I've changed I'm a better man blah blah.
So for about 2 years we felt pretty solid but something wasn't right for me. When my roommate overdosed the second time I had to move out of my apartment very quickly. I ended up living closer to my ex and we had sex for the first time in 5 years. And then on Valentine's Day my roommate actually passed away. I found out because he wasn't responding to me so I called a wellness check and my ex ended up driving me halfway to the place I used to live to check up on him before I got the call from the ME. There was a lot of wailing and vomiting on the car ride home I don't think I've ever been so upset.
About 2 months ago I opened up to my ex about some kind of crappy things that I reminded to me early on in our friendship. He was pretty pissed at me for it and he also kept telling me that my roommate was going to hell. I established that I don't like when he says that and that it's not helpful because I did love my roommate.
Anyways he just kept saying it several times throughout the end times of our relationship. And then during the time he also decided that he was moving across the country to live back in with his parents. He at first didn't want to tell me because he felt like I was already dealing with too much crap. They had been really inconsistent with me and was acting weird. And at first he wanted me to move with him but then he just wanted a fresh start because he didn't want to be with someone who he treated poorly. So there was lot of back and forth and we kind of randomly got into it about a week ago. I'm not even sure what caused it he was still telling me he loves me and that he thinks I'm beautiful and flirting with me complimented me blah blah blah but then he just like dipped out when I mentioned that I'm not sure we should see each other anymore. Because the last plan that we had decided on was that we were going to at least hang out together and he was going to come with me to an event that I bought tickets for- because he felt like he owed me that. But again he was like I'm so unfulfilled and I don't think we should see eachother.
Anyways I just immediately blocked him on everything including phone Snapchat venmo. I wanted nothing to do with him because the event was very special to me and he knew that.
So about an hour ago, he leaves that I've been wanting for a little while at my door along with a "extra special thank you note" that says " I saw this and thought of you. Thank you for being exactly what I needed at a time where I needed you the most thank you for always having my back supporting me and my dreams and encouraging me to grow. I'm sorry I couldn't be the man you deserved but just know that I'll always love you and I'll never forget you. I know you're destined to do amazing things in Brightn the lives of countless people. But most importantly thanks for being my best friend"
Okay so like what is this bs? This is a very condensed version of everything

2024.05.19 07:51 ephipinerd 24(F) missing 26(M)

It's been about 1.5 years since I broke up with him after a relationship of 4.5 years. I broke up with him because of long distance, financial stress, work pressure, and the feeling that he wasn't going to take the relationship to the next level (introduce me to his parents). There were also a few incidents where I didn't feel like he was standing up for me when his friends passed comments about me in my absence.
In addition, I had been feeling like I wasn't into sex during the relationship, so I needed to visit doctors and figure this out for myself. I had some trauma during my childhood.
Recently, my life has improved in all aspects, both financially and work-related, and I've been feeling like I'm capable enough to be in a relationship. In the meantime, my ex has been trying to get back with me. I constantly pushed back and asked him to be braver, stand up for me, and tell his family about me. I got to know that he confronted one of his friends about a lewd comment made about me and wanted to get back with him because, well, I love him. I just needed him to be better for us to take the relationship to the next level. But he said confrontation is not his style, and he tries to avoid such people.
Anyway, I followed up with him for a month that we should get back together. He constantly pushed back, saying he needs time. It's been about a year since breakup at that time. So I said, I'll try to move on from this as I got to know he's with another girl then.
I tried to start a relationship with an amazing person who is a good friend of mine, but it turns out that I'm just so used to my ex as a form of a partner. In the meantime, my ex kept pinging me once every two months, and I maintained full transparency with this new person, but it also created significant doubts in my mind about continuing the current relationship. Eventually, I ended things with this new person due to this and several other reasons.
Now, I pinged my ex back and told him that we need to get back together or he should just stop messaging me. It's like I can't imagine my life without him. I have introduced him to friends, and family, everything. I don't know if there's any escape from this. Now he's been delaying taking any decision for about a month now.
I just feel very exhausted by all this, and all the things from the day of the breakup keep running through my head. Why did I breakup with him? Can I ever move on? What if he decides no, what to do if he says he doesn't want me. What if he treats me badly because I hurt him by breaking up
Is there any end to all of this misery?

2024.05.19 07:50 Thatguy345678 Idk what happened

Idk if anyone will see this but I just want some advice. I had ( still have a GF but I’m not sure right now ) the other day she came over and said we need to take a break. Her reasoning is she didn’t want to hurt me, saying she might cheat and or do other things. She also said she wanted to have fun in her 20s ( I’m only a couple months older than her). Then leaves saying she want to come back to me but, if she is going to get with other guys and then try and come back to me I don’t want that if she is going to go get with others guys. Then after she left she then texts me, “I love you”. So I’m am genuinely confused and sad and dealing with a lot not than just her but, she is the only thing I can think about. And she was the only one I could really talk to without faking any emotions. So if anyone could try and give me some advice I would appreciate that greatly. Thank you.

2024.05.19 07:50 Bottledeuphoria 17/USA/MDT/PC/XBOX Looking for a consistent gaming buddy who's in it for fun.

Hey everyone, my name is Eila, I’m from the US (MDT), and in approximately a week I will turn the wonderful age of 18! I’m in a desperate search for any group or people to game with, as I’m terribly bored. It should be noted that I just graduated high school, so my schedule is (mostly) wide open. I’m really just looking for a good friendship if I can find it, someone I can play with on a regular basis, and someone who’s not a jerk and who I can get along with.
- List of games is further down the post if you’re looking for it -
Getting to know me:
I’m not that serious of a player and I’m more here for fun, of which I promise I’m a blast to be around, and I’m super eccentric. If someone who is really talkative and weird is not your style, you’re probably looking in the wrong place. I’m a huge nerd who’s into Comics, Movies, Pop Culture, DnD, Writing, Music, and Digital Art. I’ve also just started (successfully) figuring out how to mod games and a few of the ones listed below have already been tinkered with :D. I would LOVE a friend that likes to chat about stuff outside of gaming too.
Sorry (not sorry) to say that if you’re anti-gay, racist, transphobic, or sexist, I would really prefer if you didn’t reply to this post with the intention of becoming my friend, because it just won’t work out. I am happily a part of the LGBTQ+ community and I don’t tolerate that hateful bs. On a separate note, I fully don’t mind if you have a religion you are dedicated to, just please show some respect and don’t try to convert me. I don’t think I’d be comfortable gaming with anyone too far out of my age range, so unfortunately if you think you’re too young or old for this post, you probably are.
GAMES:
Games I play right now (The ones I'm really looking for): Fortnite, Stardew Valley, Baldur's Gate 3, Sky: Children of light, and Minecraft Bedrock (soon to additionally be Java).
Games I have played (of which I could be a little rusty): Diablo lll, Fall Guy, Sea of Thieves, Human Fall Flat, Elder Scrolls Online, Roblox, 7 Days to Die, and ARK survival.
Games I have downloaded: Halo 5, Forza Motorsport, Diablo lV, Minecraft Dungeons, Apex Legends, Overwatch 2, Among Us, Among Us VR, and VR Chat.
There are some other games I've considered, but I don’t have a tendency of buying games without actually playing them, so you might have to sell me on it if you want to play it together.
Anyways, hopefully someone will find this post and say to themselves “Man she sounds cool, maybe I can be cool too and play video games with her.” but until that happens, this post will stay up. If you’re interested, by all means, message me with your age, your name, and the games we have in common that you’d be looking to play!
Let me know, and see ya later

2024.05.19 07:49 Sensitive_Double_950 Sister lied to baby’s father and I’m not on her side so now my family is upset with me

For context let me add my sister and I have ALWAYS seen eye to eye and been close. Im not the biggest fan of her bf but he’s alright. So my sister is pregnant and just found out last week. Her bf is NOT happy about it. They both have children from previous relationships and are both 35 yrs old with the youngest being 13 (6 children between the both of them + the new baby). They haven’t been dating long probably about 90 days. So here’s the issue - she told him after she had an abortion years ago she COULD NOT get pregnant. She told him that she had tried for years (she had a couple relationships where they never used protection) but she never got pregnant. So she figured she couldn’t . This was never confirmed by a doctor. Now her bf is PISSED and says she lied to him and he really wasn’t expecting this. Of course my family is on her side but I’m kinda on his side. Our family is very close so we have family dinner every week and now I’m getting the cold shoulder from my sister because I said she was in the wrong. I won’t love my niece or nephew any less but I don’t think my sister will be happy with me for awhile.

2024.05.19 07:48 t3rminally__chill The Jay and Asta storyline bothers me... am I alone here?

For reference: I'm only on season 2 episode 12. The most recent thing I remember concerning them is Asta approaching Jay on the street and telling her that she loves her. I'll try to spoiler things for the sake of anyone else who is behind. Don't read this post if you haven't finished season 2.
So. I understand why Asta had to give Jay up as a teenager in an abusive relationship, and I do sympathize with her. Her feelings are valid, but some of her behaviors (like the one referenced above) really bother me. She just seems to be crossing some major boundaries with Jay. Some of her behavior comes across as stalker-like to me. It seems so unfair of Asta to barge into Jay's life and load down a literal teenager with all of her emotional baggage.
And the language the show uses around it I feel is disrespectful to Jay's mom, the woman who raised her. Asta repeatedly refers to Jay as her "daughter", and never really acknowledges the people on the other end of the adoption process. I apologize if my own language isn't up to date, but isn't it appropriate to call the adoptive mother the "mom", and the person who gave birth to the child the "birth mom"? The show and Asta basically ignore the fact that there is a set of parents who raised Jay and treat Asta like Jay's mom.
I don't have any major skin in the game — I wasn't adopted myself, nor do I have any adopted children. I don't have any children, so maybe I'm out of line here. But this whole storyline just kinda feels gross to me.
Does the show ever address/justify this? I love a flawed character, but the show has to address them as flaws, and so far it seems like the show wants us to root for Jay and Asta to have some deep and meaningful mothedaughter relationship while happily ignoring the existence of the people who raised Jay. Do Jay's parents ever become somewhat realized characters, or are they ignored?
I don't mind spoilers in the comments because I'm on the fence about continuing the show, and knowing where this storyline is going might make or break it. Which is unfortunate, because there's a lot to love about this show. (ofc hide spoilers for the sake of others though.)
edit: spelling

2024.05.19 07:46 Striking-Respect-711 How To Help My Cousins

Hey,
So I just want some unbiased feedback from people regarding if my cousins were abused growing up. They both would insist they weren't, but the older one (27F same age as me) is currently in rehab for alcohol abuse after her 3rd DUI after moving across the country to California by herself. She's made a LOT of bad decisions over the years but she used to be my best friend when we were younger... I know she's suffered from ana/bul for a long time and had a miscarriage when we were 13. She has openly had issues with her dad (my uncle) since we were teens, but has verbalized for the last few years on and off that "nobody cares about her" and "her family treats her like shit"...
My younger cousin (24M) I currently live with and love to absolute pieces but he's also been through a lot. His parents kicked him out during covid at the age of 20 with no job because they were moving almost 2 hours away and wanted to live child free. I've expressed many a time how shocking this was to my cousin when he told me about it and it severely changed my overall outlook on my aunt and uncle. He couch surfed for years off and on until I was able to get him a job working with me and he was able to move in with me and my best friend. We've lived together for over a year now and things were overall happy but recently he's been dealing with a lot again. My best friend and my cousin are both queer and a messed up situation occurred on the Grindr app between the two of them, but long story short my best friend ended up coordinating a voyeur event involving my cousin.
This has caused shock waves throughout the house obviously and my cousin has every right to be extremely upset. After a lot of confusion, some things were cleared up from the extra person that was involved with this and it was proven that my best friend did not touch my cousin. This does NOT change the fact that the entire situation was effed up and orchestrated, but I do believe with intense therapy for both of them that something can be worked out...
However, I also do not believe that with all of the stuff going on with my cousin that he had any right to lash out at me in the car for explaining how I feel like our coworkers are harassing me at work. For context, my cousin is into edgelord dumb alt right style comedy and likes to make transphobic, homophobic, racist, etc jokes at work sometimes. The trade field I am in is almost all men, and I am one of two women in our whole shop. There were more before, but after the last one quit for a different job, all these jokes have just gotten SO much worse. I constantly feel like I am getting egged on for my reaction, one example was last week i was told I should "get stung by a bee for the experience" after talking about how my grandma was deathly allergic. This kind of things been happening almost weekly since January and I vented to my cousin in the car ride home (I give him car rides almost every work day) and he just absolutely blew up on me.
He screamed about how I need to "Get the eff over it", how he has to tell me like it is because when I get upset it ruins the whole vibe for him and he just wants to have fun at work. I told him that edgy jokes are fun when theyre NOT pointed directly at someone and he just wouldnt put himself into my shoes and continually told me to get thicker skin. There was a lot more that was said but long story short, he basically cannot accept that he could be wrong in this situation and even if it was all jokes, if it hurts someone its not worth making them.
I know that's how he was raised, his dad specifically gives no effs about equality, "woke culture", etc and they've always been VERY well off their whole lives so my cousins feel that anybody who has trauma or gets upset about "little things" need to suck it up because that's what their parents told them. My uncle still calls depression "the dark place" I do know that he's currently in therapy but I fear that the damage to his kids is too far gone. My dad (my uncle's brother) died in 2010, and my mom is a single mom whos been working at a grocery store for 41 years but can still find time to love and empathize with her child. She was also very upset to hear that my cousin was kicked out during covid and she bought him a queen size mattress to sleep on while he stayed at her house with my sister for a few months before moving in with me.
I just want to know the best way to move forward with my cousins. The older one in California I fear is a lost cause, she's been told to move back home so many times and she just wont... The cousin that I live with didn't come home last night after our blow up because I texted him setting my boundaries going forward (not allowed to use my coffee and no more rides to work) and texted back shooting off things to hit below the belt (like my weight, how I am "rotting" because I dont go out and see friends every night like he does, etc.) I want to be there for him because of all the things he is going through but I also need to protect my peace.
Thoughts?

Hey there! Let me introduce myself: I'm an exceptional listener and an enthusiastic cookie connoisseur. If you're cool with me devouring cookies like the Cookie Monster, then we'll hit it off just fine. I'm all about having a good time and embracing adventure! Traveling is my passion, along with immersing myself in diverse cultures and indulging in their cuisines. So, if you're feeling a bit bored and in need of a pal, let's brainstorm some unique handshakes!
Here's a bit more about me:
-I'm a tech-savvy, sarcastic nerd.
-My taste in music varies depending on my mood. Feeling ambitious? It's rap/hip-hop time. Otherwise, EDM, jazz, oldies, blues, and pop hit the spot.
-When it comes to video games, you'll find me diving into Warzone, Valorant, GTA, Rust, and CS:GO. Beware though, I may shed a tear or two when those 12-year-olds start bullying me.
-Food is my love language. Cake, cookies, ice cream, pizza... basically anything that isn't a green vegetable (yuck!). And tattoos? Count me in—I'm inked up myself!
-As for sports, I'm a fan of basketball, baseball, and football. Although, I have a knack for getting hit in the... well, you know where, quite frequently with those balls.

2024.05.19 07:45 Riverbend08 I (28f) am about to get engaged to my bf (31m) and want advice about how to approach his relationship with his best friend (27f)?

My man and I have been together for years, and are excited to get engaged very very soon. My boyfriend’s best friend, who is female, she’s also engaged to a different man , and we’re invited to the wedding, her bridal shower , ect.
This female friend says I love you- to my boyfriend and it bothers me deeply. She probably says it every few weeks when they catch up via text or at work . She invited my boyfriend to her wedding dress shopping recently .
The main problem I’m having is that she says I love you- to me it just feels to intimate and means something else to me. I discussed this with my man and he said he’d just say “love you” or “love ya” instead of inserting the “I” in that phrase.
He also is transparent about when and what him and his female bff talk about .
He recently told me that she said I love you again, and he said love you back.
I cannot tell for the life of me, because I’ve been trying to be accepting of this all along but now for some reason that we’re this close to getting engaged, it’s causing a massive amount of panic in me that I know that this is going on and could be going on forever - even after marriage . It bothers me so deeply and I dont want to be that insecure controlling fiancé, I don’t seem to have a problem with them being friends and catching up and the occasional “love ya”, but I’m just so hung ip in the fact she says I love you.
My boyfriend says she says that to all her close friends and I’m trying to just reassure myself and tell myself maybe Im overthinking because of my anxiety around realizing I’m getting engaged soon and everything seems like a larger deal, but I’d love to get advice about how to handle this, or know if it’s something I need to busy let go and chill on?
I’m feeling so anxious that I feel like I’m going to be sick and my mind can only now fixate on this one thing and it’s been that way for 5 days now at least.
Also my boyfriend has told me that she’s also best friends with another married man that - she knowingly has in her wedding party and knows that this married man has a crush on her, yet remains best friends and won’t tell the wife of this other random married man friend. So that’s unsettling to think that I could be in the same position.
Maybe I’m just way overthinking but my boyfriend has advised that he trusts me and trusts himself to never screw things up between him and I and trusts us both to handle our relationship with the utmost care.

2024.05.19 07:45 Artistic_Stuff3640 Can’t keep a relationship,

I just finished impulsively breaking up with my boyfriend. I constantly feel like he doesn’t care about me. For example, tonight we just broke up because he promised to call me and then he never did. He doesn’t send a text or anything and this is a weekly occurrence. It’s like he gets around friends and always forgets about me. I wouldn’t care but what makes me sad is he said he would call. I never asked him to because I know he does things like this, so I never want to put myself in a situation to be let down. But he said he would and didn’t. It’s tough because I am always trying to build myself up and believe that he does care but he is admittedly emotionally unavailable. I know he was hurt in the past and his family situation lends itself to someone shutting off their emotions. However, for years now I stayed around hoping that we could open up and be vulnerable but it never really happens. Then whenever he does try opening up he just stops himself.
I didn’t have a stable home life either. Hence the anxiety on my part and having trouble handling my anger when I feel my needs aren’t getting met. I feel like an idiot. I feel like I shouldn’t have been so impulsive and waited for us to at least talk. Because I love him and don’t want to just throw this away. However, it’s upsetting I feel like I’m always an afterthought. What’s worst is I called him and asked if he wanted a break because I couldn’t understand why he’s never vulnerable and why he can’t be true to his word. His response was “do whatever the fuck you want.” I was so shocked by the response I hung the phone up.
What’s worst is he’s been out drinking until late with his friends. I didn’t get jealous and even encouraged him to have fun. However, all that on top of him lying about calling all the time is just too much for me. Especially since I’m dealing with stress and depression. I just loss an aunt not even a month ago. And it’s just tough being strong for myself and having to deal with this. He even has trouble giving me a compliment without adding in something funny afterwards. I feel like screaming because I never seem to pick good relationships. I always stay trying to hope for something because I want to have faith and I don’t want to just feel like I’m ever giving up without a fair chance. Now I wonder why I even try. I don’t even know if I’m lovable or if real love is even a thing anymore. Like I’m genuinely just not even sure why I put myself in these heartbreaking situations. I really thought I was working on healing but I feel I’m just fucking retarded when it comes to interacting with people in general. Maybe I take words too literal and make myself upset. But I don’t know. Just feeling broken and the need to scream so I wrote this all here in hopes of getting rid of the need to scream feeling.

2024.05.19 07:42 FailingOrganism I Regret Not Taking Dating Seriously in My 20s Just to Have Someone to Split Rent With

I'm in my early 30s and my last romantic relationship was 11 years ago. I've had possible relationships since then, but I was a party boy and had no plans on changing that. I just liked partying and screwing around; which is fine, but not really serious relationship material.
The last several years I've been dealing with a parent's illness as a caregiver along with my siblings, so I haven't moved out yet. Now that we're in the end game for our parent we'll be selling the house soon.
I've been looking at rentals on and off for a few years, and these days rent is crazy in and around my city; nearly unaffordable for one dude making what i make. Most of my friends either have plans to move in with their girl, or already have. The rest of my friends have no plans on moving from family.
Now I wish I took dating and relationships more seriously when I was younger. I'd rather have a roommate I know and trust over a stranger, but it's looking like that might be what will happen. 1bd apts and studios cost almost as much as a 2 bd in my area.
I'm still not really interested in dating or relationships these days, but I'm regretting it. Renting a place and splitting rent with someone that's in love with me sounds a lot better than getting a stranger as a roommate, or starving and budgeting to the max for a place on my own.

2024.05.19 07:42 flakey_biscuit Unexpected top surgery conversation threw my brain for a loop.

A bit of background about me: 46, AFAB, genderfluid, mom to an adult trans man who came out in his mid teens. For much of my childhood and adult life, I thought of myself as just a "tomboy" CIS woman, but I've started to question it in recent years. Part of that questioning has lead to recalling memories of having those same thoughts and questions hammered out of me and repressed at a young age.
Tonight I kind of brought up the idea of top surgery to my husband in a roundabout way. He was surprisingly unbothered and basically said "Do what makes you happy, I love you for who you are as a person and that's what really matters."
I'm kind of just over having boobs for practical reasons. They get in the way, they make the summer heat unbearable, make it uncomfortable to sleep, cause back pain, I hate the way shirts feel (I have some sensory processing quirks), etc.
I haven't really thought of myself as having gender dysphoria, but now that menopause is settling in and my period has basically stopped, I'm starting to feel a lot more comfortable in my body. The idea of top surgery, while brought up half jokingly, is suddenly appealing for nebulous reasons that aren't purely practical.
It's not that I'm unhappy with the body I have, but I think I'd like a more masculine one better? I don't know. I don't want HRT (neither testosterone nor estrogen post-menopause). My gender is definitely fluid, but on the whole, I feel masculine more than I do feminine. Usually I'm somewhere in the middle.
If I did anything, it likely wouldn't be for a year or so - I want to lose some weight first. This just isn't something I ever considered as a potential reality before. It feels weird.
I'm going to have to process this for a bit. I wish I'd figured all of this out 30 years ago.

2024.05.19 07:41 BurntSoupp I lost my first car.

A few weeks ago, I was driving home and a truck ran a stop sign causing me to t-bone them, just down the street from my house. This caused my 2010 Honda Accord EX-L V6 coupe to be completely totaled and written off. I had that car since I turned 18 and it’s been almost 5 years since. I got the car for an insanely good deal (5k with 130km at the time) and I still had so many good years with it, I learned how to do basic maintenance with it and it had gotten me through so much. I was planning on keeping it forever, eventually pass it down to my brother who’s gonna be driving in a few years, teach him how to drive and maintain a car. I’m getting back double what I paid for but the car market is horrible at the moment and I’ll end up using the money for a worse car than my Accord. I’m honestly heartbroken over the situation and have no idea what to do next. I really did love that car.

2024.05.19 07:41 Cravingsnowierdays How do I move past my insecurities?

To give a little background, my (42f) last long term relationship ended after 10 years, three months before our wedding.
Everything was booked and planned and paid for. He picked me up from work one day and confessed he couldn’t marry me because he wasn’t in love with me anymore. There was no discussion, no attempt or willingness to try to work things out. It was just done.
I was broken. After that, once I started to recover I found myself reconnecting with my childhood sweetheart. The more time we spent together the more we discovered we still loved each other. The problem was he was with another girl. I will strongly emphasis that at no point did we ever do anything physical with one another. No kissing, no inappropriate touching, nothing.
He strung me along for a year telling me how unhappy he was and they were sleeping in separate bedrooms and like an idiot I believed him. I know, I know. 🫣
Eventually I told him he couldn’t keep on having what I considered an emotional affair and not tell his gf. He agreed and went home to do exactly that.
Turns out (according to him), that he told her, she broke down and he decided to stay with her. I’m sure everyone else here is not in the least surprised.
After that I decided I’d prefer to be alone than experience the kind of pain and shame of those two “relationships” again.
Along comes my now husband (36m) We met online and bonded instantly. We met in person a bunch of times, flying to and from each others countries until I quit my job and moved to his to be together.
After a few years we bought a house together, then had a baby and then god married. We’ve been together six years now and have been so so happy. We joke about how alike we are and how we’re practically the same person just of the opposite sex.
He’s not perfect, neither am I but we’ve always made it work and we might disagree and snap at one another occasionally but we’ve never had a massive blow out fight.
I’ve been sick for a while and it’s made me depressed, I’m also not working because we’ve also moved to yet another country where I’m not fluent in the language and am six months pregnant with our second child.
Now here is the problem. We’ve grown distant, he’s stressed and tired, I’m stressed and tired and / or sick and our son is a wonderful, kind, animated little soul who has endless endless energy but we both have struggled with him because we don’t have the energy to keep up with him. He’s not got any issues that we’re aware of, nothing has been highlighted by his kindergarten teachers except a short tempter but everyone admits that he’s a handful due to his boundless energy, endless chatter and somewhat wilful nature.
I’ve started to feel as though my husband doesn’t love me anymore. He’s admitted he feels put off from penatrative intercourse due to the pregnancy and honestly that’s quite common. He’s also told me how he feels like he never has any alone time.
Either myself or our son are always home and he feels stretched thin and over stimulated. As a loner, I totally understand those feelings but part of me worries he’s also falling out of love with me.
He admits that a spark has diminished and he hopes it comes back after things settle down and assures me that he still loves me.
We have a friend couple who we’ve recently started chatting to more and spending more time with and we both seem closer to the girl of the couple. I’m finding myself feeling insecure and jealous that he may be developing feelings for her.
She and her boyfriend seem happy and committed. They’re buying a house together and she’s talking about wanting kids with him. But when we’re out or hanging out as a four she and my husband still seem to be more interested in what they’re doing than their partners.
She’s younger and a very giggly bubbly girl and I like her but I’m stressed and don’t have that same happy energy I once had.
I suspect I’m over reacting and hormonal from the pregnancy but I can’t get past these feelings and I’m now almost in tears some nights and actually cried the other night when I told my husband how I felt.
I know he won’t cheat on me but that doesn’t mean his heart won’t want someone else.
What can I do to get over my insecurities?
TL;DR I’m worried my husband has fallen out of love with me, based on my past experiences and probably pregnancy hormones. How do I work on myself to get over this?

2024.05.19 07:40 catthrowaway4 Cat keeps bothering sister at night

For context my sister doesn’t sleep in a room, she moved back in because she got laid off and we had no more available rooms since we renovated the house. This means the cat has full access to her at all times during the day and night lol. She loves him but she also loves her sleep and she doesn’t like when animals sleep with her since she has some mild allergies. Our cat is normally well behaved and he is a big cuddle at night. He tends to sleep with me at night but I guess he wanted a change in scenery so he has been trying to sleep with my sister. He keeps going to her and meowing at her at night. She ignores him but then he jumps on her bed which is a big no for her so she is forced to interact with him. This leads to a vicious cycle of attention seeking from our cat.
Before you ask, yes we do play with him. About 6, 20-30minute play sessions throughout the day to the point where he is panting and slumped. We also give him a big meal at night after his final play session… I think he just wants the attention from my sister. She can’t sleep now though and it’s affecting her health. It’s been about 2 weeks and she has lost weight and has bags under her eyes. How do we deal with this and why does he keep going to her? She even started making loud noises to scare him off and he still goes to her. I might just have to keep him cooped up in my room at night until my sister finds a job…
Any ideas on what to do?

🔗Mini Car Ball Compass with Accurate Pointing

https://preview.redd.it/qflclmt0mb1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=828b18285b6ea1070354b135acab3d38efbb01df
As someone who's always on the road, I can't tell you how often I've needed a reliable compass to guide me. The KANPAS V28 Mini Automotive Dashboard Car Ball Compass has been a game-changer for me. It's no liquid leaking housing design gives me peace of mind knowing it won't fail in harsh conditions. Plus, its shockproof and waterproof features make it perfect for off-road adventures.
One of the standout features of this compass is how it reads - opposite to traditional pointers which can sometimes be confusing. It's straightforward to use and even has an interesting installation process that involves tearing off double-sided tape.
However, there's a special reminder with this compass: ensure you confirm the correct direction outside the car before finding a suitable location inside the car. Also, avoid iron and magnetic items in the car from affecting the ball compass reading. Despite these small caveats, the KANPAS V28 Mini Automotive Dashboard Car Ball Compass is definitely worth considering for your navigation needs.

🔗Illuminated Commander Compass with Automatic MVA

https://preview.redd.it/9591fh21mb1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2a3c4c87c4f653d8436d2b0f953ccb3da550a81c
Bell Automotive's Illuminated Commander Compass is my go-to companion when navigating through the night. The automatic Magnetic Variation Adjustment (MVA) keeps me on track, with an easy mount on either the dash or windshield. Its light-up feature is especially useful during those late-night drives when the sun has tucked itself in for the night.
While the compass is generally reliable and easy to use, I had a couple of hiccups during its installation. The suction cups that came with it didn't work quite as expected on my vehicle's vinyl dash, so I had to resort to a bit of glue to secure it properly. Additionally, the light button seemed a tad finicky and occasionally stopped working for no apparent reason. However, I appreciated the fact that I could still see the readings even when the light was off.
Despite some minor issues, the overall experience with Bell Automotive's Illuminated Commander Compass has been quite positive. Its ability to keep me headed in the right direction, especially during nighttime adventures, has been a real lifesaver. If you're in the market for a reliable compass to navigate your drive, this one is definitely worth considering. Just be prepared to get creative with the installation process to ensure optimal performance in your specific vehicle.

🔗Custom Accessories Low Profile LED Compass

https://preview.redd.it/is8x7ak1mb1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b8d991b39bb3dbb540243aa9eeb809a35451b86d
I recently purchased a Low Profile Lighted LED Compass for my car, and while I had high hopes, my experience wasn't quite as smooth as I'd hoped. The best part of this compass is undoubtedly its sleek and low-profile design; it looks far more expensive than it actually is. Plus, the lighted dial makes reading the compass at night a breeze.
However, the compass's primary function - accurately pointing to the north - just doesn't seem to work for me. Regardless of where I place it in my car or what direction I'm driving, the compass consistently points to the east or northwest, which makes it practically useless.
I wouldn't necessarily say that this compass is a waste of money, as it does have a cool backlit display and a compact design. But if you're looking for an actual functional compass to use while driving, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. For $8, I guess you get what you pay for, but it's disappointing that something as simple as a compass can't handle a little interference from my car's electronics.

🔗Personalized Dash Compass for Your Car Journeys

https://preview.redd.it/6qa7yup1mb1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=65b526c209e866f39de3e6cd272c60d1fffa7efc
I recently added the Victor Products Inc Suction Cup Mini Compass to my car and it's been a game-changer for me on my roughest routes. The free-floating ball and liquid damping ensure quick settling, making navigation a breeze even when the road ahead gets bumpy. I love how the large letters make for easy reading at any angle, and the suction cup attaches easily to my windshield for quick access.
The mini-size and suction cup feature make this compass incredibly portable, making it perfect for camping trips or weekend getaways. I also appreciate the sleek black color that matches my car's interior perfectly. However, I did have one issue: the compass tends to stick on one direction, which can be a bit frustrating at times.
Overall, I'm happy with the Victor Products Inc Suction Cup Mini Compass and would recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable navigation tool for their car. The quick settling and easy-reading features make it stand out from the rest, despite a minor problem we encountered with the compass direction.

🔗Dashboard Compass Ball for Car or Boat

https://preview.redd.it/4nnj2272mb1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=385ea30f48a98b7041777d06643edee75b966554
I recently got my hands on the RINGGLO Car Compass Ball and I must say, it's been a game-changer for my navigation needs while driving. The high-quality ABS plastic material not only makes it sturdy but also gives it a sleek look that complements my car's interior perfectly.
One of the things I love about this compass is its wide applicability - not just for cars, but also for boats, trucks, and caravans. Its easy-to-use design and self-adhesive mount make it incredibly convenient to install wherever you need it most. Plus, its compact size means it doesn't take up much space on your dashboard.
However, there are a few cons to note as well. Firstly, the compass requires a horizontal position to ensure accurate readings, which might be challenging when driving over bumps or uneven surfaces. Secondly, it's advisable to keep the compass away from magnetic sources to maintain its accuracy, which could be inconvenient at times.
In conclusion, the RINGGLO Car Compass Ball is an excellent tool for navigation, especially if you're looking for something stylish and functional. Its wide applicability and easy installation make it a valuable addition to any vehicle. Just remember to follow the guidelines provided to get the most out of this innovative compass.

🔗SOL Lensatic Compass with Flip-Up Lens

https://preview.redd.it/yqz2krf2mb1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1f20ee1bcf25afb720fc2049f0146160876d57da
I recently had the chance to test out the Sol Lensatic Compass, and I must say, it's a game-changer when it comes to navigating on outdoor trips. The compass is incredibly lightweight, making it perfect for backpacking and hiking adventures. The lensatic design allows for precise readings, and the large, luminous directional letters make it easy to read even in low light conditions.
One of the standout features of this compass is its durability. The sturdy synthetic housing provides ample protection for the compass, while also making it easy to grip and maneuver. Additionally, the included cover acts as an extra layer of protection and helps make sighting easier.
However, there are a few cons to consider. The magnetic floating compass can be somewhat difficult to ensure it's pointing north due to the thick liquid inside. Additionally, the grip on the heading dial is not as effective as it could be, making it a bit challenging to rotate.
Overall, the SOL Lensatic Compass is an excellent navigation tool for those who love the outdoors. Its lightweight design and precise readings make it perfect for hiking, camping, and hunting adventures. While there are a few minor drawbacks, these are easily outweighed by its many positive features.

🔗Illuminated Compass for Automobiles

https://preview.redd.it/1f5pfvt2mb1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9f9101f2a9909ef3b63505f783b3f1ec117f84b6
I recently got the chance to try out Bell Automotive's Lighted Compass and overall, it was quite an interesting experience. The mounting options were really user-friendly with suction cups for the windshield and adhesive tape for the dashboard, making it easy to install without causing any damage.
One of the standout features was its unique disc-style floating dial and liquid damping, which proved incredibly useful in quickly settling the compass over bumpy roads. The display of eight directional points was also a definite plus, although I wish there was a way to illuminate the dial for night driving without having to hold the button down continuously.
However, there are a few drawbacks that I experienced. First off, the compass struggled to provide accurate readings due to interference from the vehicle's metal elements, even when used outside the car. Additionally, the adhesive tape didn't hold up well in hot weather, causing the compass to lose its positioning.
In conclusion, while the Bell Automotive Lighted Compass does have some interesting features, you might want to consider its inconsistencies before making a purchase. On the other hand, if you're primarily looking for a compass to use outside your car, or you drive a vehicle with minimal metal components, this compass might prove useful.

🔗Car Compass Ball Dashboard Mount (Black)

https://preview.redd.it/hmeyr353mb1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9d1279411e54049aaaf500634c7eea3b5ebcd3c2
When I first bought the 2pcs Car Vehicle Compass Ball Dashboard Self Adhesive Mount Navigation, I was skeptical about its accuracy and usability. But after using it for a few trips, I must say it has become an essential tool for navigation. The smooth and brightly colored surface along with the automatic rotation feature make it a breeze to follow the direction. It's perfect for those who prefer a more traditional method of navigation and it certainly adds a touch of retro charm to my car.
One downside is that the compass can be a little sensitive to magnetic fields, so I have to be careful about where I place it. Additionally, direct sunlight might affect its performance, so I usually keep it tucked away when I'm parked under the sun.
Overall, this compass mount has greatly enhanced my driving experience with its clear readout, easy installation, and stylish design. It's a reliable and affordable tool that's a must-have for any vehicle.

🔗Durable Military Tritium Lensatic Compass

https://preview.redd.it/dd5gsyi3mb1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a74ec1ddcf1c83641001a578ee54f23b7174b8a1
I recently got my hands on the Cammenga Official US Military Tritium Lensatic Compass Clam Pack 3HCS, and let me tell you, it's a game changer for anyone who loves spending time outdoors. As an avid camper and hiker, I've relied on GPS and other digital tools in the past, but there's just something about having a reliable, physical compass that you can trust in a pinch.
This compass is built like a tank, with a sturdy metal housing that keeps it shockproof. It's also designed to withstand water, sand, and extreme temperatures, making it perfect for any adventure you can throw at it. One of my favorite features is the lens for magnification and the sighting wire for precise readings - these little details make all the difference when you're trying to navigate unfamiliar terrain.
Now, let's talk about those dependable dial graduations. They have both mils and degrees for easy reading, and the mil-radians give you a high level of accuracy in your plotting and measuring. But the real star of the show is the tritium illumination, which provides you with a clear view of the compass in low light or darkness, without needing any external light sources.
However, no product is perfect, and this compass does have some drawbacks. The belt clip on the carrying case is a bit flimsy, and it broke a few times during my tests. Additionally, the lens can be a bit difficult to focus, especially in low light conditions.
Despite these minor issues, I wholeheartedly recommend the Cammenga Official US Military Tritium Lensatic Compass Clam Pack 3HCS to anyone who wants a reliable, accurate, and durable compass for their next outdoor adventure. Just make sure you keep an eye on that belt clip and bring along some spare batteries for your other electronic gear!

🔗Bell Suction Cup Mini Compact Car Compass - Black

https://preview.redd.it/vyx489u3mb1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=842db8e90d18a547c139fba240fe6a8e59c33672
I recently purchased the Bell Suction Cup Mini Compass and it's been an interesting addition to my vehicle. The compact design is perfect for mounting it on my windshield, and the free-floating ball and liquid damping help it settle quickly over bumpy roads.
One thing I really appreciate about this compass is how easy it is to read. The large letters ensure that I can see the direction even when I'm not directly facing the compass. However, one downside is that the suction cup occasionally falls off if the vehicle is parked in direct sunlight. No big deal, though, as it's easy to reattach.
Another standout feature of the Bell Suction Cup Mini Compass is its low cost. It may not be the most high-tech compass out there, but for the price, it works great. If you're looking for a simple, affordable solution to help you orient yourself while driving, this compass is definitely worth considering.

🔗Bell Automotive Digital Compass and Mirror Mount

https://preview.redd.it/5mqps884mb1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=da01837cb5647888ed1357b4d553304ca50360dd
I recently installed the Bell Automotive 22-1-29001-8 Digital Compass on my car's existing rear view mirror, and I've found it incredibly useful for long road trips. The device provides an effortless calibration process and efficiently displays 8 directional points without taking up much space on the mirror.
One of my favorite features of this compass is its ability to connect with my car's touchscreen via a display light function. This has made navigation far simpler, especially during nighttime driving. However, I have experienced some difficulties with the compass occasionally, mainly regarding its readability in bright sunlight.
Another drawback worth mentioning is the compass's accuracy issues, which seem to arise more frequently when installed in certain vehicles, such as my friend's Toyota Corolla. Fortunately, in my car, the compass has been working perfectly fine and has even helped me avoid getting lost on several occasions.
In summary, if you're looking for a compact and feature-rich digital compass that doesn't obstruct your view while driving, the Bell Automotive 22-1-29001-8 Digital Compass might be worth considering. Just remember to consider its readability and accuracy limitations before making a purchase decision.
