This website is trying really hard to annoy it's users.
First it refuses to display the prices of vehicles, unless I sign in, which is actually against the law for advertising a vehicle in Australia. When I call them up, they immediately tell me to stop using an VPN. That's great if I was using one.. then they ask me to provide my IP address and they will "unblock me" how does this even work with dynamic IP addresses? I have no idea. This all has been reported to the ombudsman, but unfortunately I have not received a response in over 3 weeks. Surface to say, the government doesn't care, and only priority is self regulation for businesses which obviously does not work.
Now they decide to continually show me the cookie warning pop up every time I view the page or navigate to a new page on the website. They also like to do a 'are you human check' I am almost certain this does not happen with Chrome. WHIC AGAIN every business seem to TELL ME it's the only web browser that works or I should be using.

P.s Why can't Firefox provide a way to spoof the user agent so websites 'think' I am using Chrome.. and even better why can't Firefox provide a way to 'fake' the browser finger prints so a website does not know what operating system I use, or just use a generic one and screen size etc.. obviously this might brake some website, but an easy toggle on/off would be fine. Website get way to much information from their user. Information they most certainly do not strictly need.

A couple of background notes before jumping in:

1. My little sister and I always butted heads when we were growing up. It’s not as though there was a particular reason. We were just different. There was nothing wrong with her priorities. We were just different. We would still argue sometimes, but mostly we stayed in our own spheres.
But once we were both adults and out of our parents’ house, we started being close. She would come to me for advice and comfort. I was thrilled. I felt like I was finally being the older sister she deserved but wouldn’t let me be. I helped her navigate intimacy talks with her boyfriends (That makes it sound like she had multiple. It was one at a time, and she’s in a committed relationship now.). I was the first person she told about her pregnancy. I offered to talk to our parents when they were pressuring her to let them spread the news before she was ready.

That has continued to be our stance throughout our relationship and marriage. They wouldn’t be comfortable and happy being pregnant for gender reasons, and I don’t see the point of going through expensive fertility treatments and sperm donors when we could give a child in need a home for around the same amount of money without changing my body.
This last summer was my golden opportunity. My OBGYN said yes, I had managed to save enough over the school year thanks to a long-term subbing position to not need a summer job, and my in-laws (whom we live with) were going to be in Australia for a month. There was only one problem.
The surgery was the day before my brother’s wedding.
I asked the scheduler if there was a day after his wedding available, but she said no. With no other appointments available, I agreed to the surgery date and asked to be put on the cancellation list in case I could sneak it in earlier.
Right after the phone call, I called my brother to tell him what was going on. He accepted the situation with zero hesitation. He told me that he had friends who were missing the wedding for way less valid reasons.

Things didn’t go so smoothly when I tried to tell my sister. She told me that I was being selfish. She got off the call shortly after. I was frustrated. It feels like every time I try to talk to her about something medical going on with me she tries to convince me I’m being overdramatic or looking for problems where there are none. I decided to text her as much and included that she didn’t have to answer me. Her reaction was to berate me in texts after. This continued to the point of making me cry. I told her I would not be responding to her calls or texts about this, but she continued.
This is the point where all my friends tell me I’m in the right and my mother (who also chewed me out over the phone when I told her about the surgery) tells me I’m in the wrong. I blocked her. It was always intended to be temporary, and I unblocked her before the end of the day. However, she realized I blocked her and took to Facebook Messenger to call me childish and tell me that I “lost [my] relationship with [her.]”
Since this all happened, I have reached out via text, Messenger, and FaceTime (she prefers it over a phone call) to try to apologize for blocking her and talk despite thinking I behaved appropriately by enforcing boundaries when she refused to stop putting me down. She hasn’t talked to me since. She told our mom that she missed my FaceTime call, but if that was the case she could have called back when she had time. Unlike my brother, she lives in the same time zone as me.
The funny thing is I don’t care anymore. I do regret that this hurts Mom (who has since apologized for her reaction). She was never able to have a close relationship with her siblings, and she never wanted that for the three of us. I regret that I can’t see my nephew. Like I mentioned before, my partner and I don’t intend to have kids, and my brother doesn’t have a child of his own yet. I have set up my nephew for two years worth of KiwiCo. EDITED TO CLARIFY: A couple of folks have wished me well for my surgery. I had it last summer! Other than having a catheter for the first few days, which sucked, my recovery was fairly smooth. I’m a substitute teacher, so a summer surgery was perfect.

Not until earlier today after I left my phone on our living room table while I slept on the couch. Gary put his hand on the plate and waited for the scanner to read his palm print and the magic to check his aura. It took a a second to produce the chime and for the lights to turn green. He grabbed the door handle, the latch depressing easily, and stepped into the holding center.
"Director Johnson," the guard at the duty desk greeted him. The one posted up in the alcove where all the clairvoyant eyes conveyed their vision ignored him, caught up in his duties. His eyes remained shut as his brain processed the input from two dozen eyes, no two looking in the same direction. His grip on his weapon was relaxed and casual, which spoke to the current state of the lockup.
"Hey," Gary said. He walked over, pulling his EDC gun out of the holster and plopping it on the desk, then bending to retrieve his backup from one boot. The backup was a .22 magnum revolver that only carried four rounds. It was dwarfed by the custom 1911 next to it.
"Which prisoner?" the guard asked as he took both guns and secured them in a lockbox behind his desk.
"General tour," Gary said. "I'll prolly talk to several of 'em. Did the paperwork on that ghoul come in?"
"It did. We were going to give him until after lunch to process him out. He said he was looking forwards to the meatloaf."
"Ain't eager to be set free?" Gary asked, quirking an eyebrow. The guard shrugged.
"He's a pretty Zen guy. Seems just as happy in his cell as anywhere, really. We brought him a bunch of books, and he's kept his nose buried in them."
Gary nodded. "Well, jes' remember we done 'im wrong when we locked him up. Be courteous, an iffen he needs anything from us, you got my approval to make it happen."
"Yes, sir," the guard said, then immediately raised a hand as Gary opened his mouth to protest.
"Apologies, Director. You do indeed, work for a living."
"Damn straight," Gary said. He patted the desktop in a farewell and headed into the cellblock.
First thing's first, he thought as he approached the second cell with a guard outside it.
"Going in, Director Johnson?" the guard asked. Gary nodded. "Ayup."
The guard placed his palm on a plate next to the door, said "Unlock," quietly, and then stepped aside as the door clicked.
Duke, or Dylan, if Gary was feeling more charitable than usual, looked up, his eyes dark and gloomy through the limp strands of black hair that hung in front.
"What," he demanded.
"What you gon' do iffen I have these boys cut you loose right now?"
Duke glared at him for a long moment. When he answered, his voice was quiet, if no less hard.
"I'm going to find my daughter and wife."
"That's why yer still here, cupcake," Gary said.
"Call me cupcake again," Duke replied, rising to his feet. He was an inch or two taller. Gary sized him up, figured the reach advantage would be about a half inch. Muscle-mass-wise, Gary had a definite edge. And Gary was far stronger even than he looked. He wouldn't break a sweat.
"Cupcake," Gary said. Then added "Snowflake. Drama queen."
"Of course, the fag calls me a queen," Duke said with a roll of his eyes. Gary grinned.
"Ya know what they say. Treat a whore like a queen, treat a queen like a whore." Gary put a grin on his face. The same grin he wore when he loaded a new magazine in his gun and prepared to end a tiresome fight, once and for all.
"Wanna be my whore?" he asked.
Duke flinched and looked away.

"T'ask you what you'd do iffen we let you go," Gary said mildly. "And you gave me the wrong answer, son."
"The fuck kind of answer did you expect?!" Duke snapped. "Maybe it blows your simple fucking mind to think that I actually might care about someone other than myself, but that doesn't make it any less true."
Gary grunted a laugh. "Right," he said. He turned and knocked on the door behind him. A second later, it clicked and swung open, the guard outside peering in, one hand on his taser.
Gary heard the door slam shut behind him as he moved to the next guarded cell. Inside, he found the vampire Jerry had -unfortunately- trusted. She was laying on the bunk, hands behind her head, staring at the ceiling. She had her knees bent, with one leg thrown over the other and bouncing idly.
"Beatrice Armstrong," Gary said. He plopped his butt down on the only chair in the room, a simple platform bolted to the wall. Beatrice eyed him for a second, then turned her eyes back to the ceiling.
"I brought ya something," Gary said. He pulled his phone out of his pocket and hit play on the video, angling the screen towards her.
"Jerry went and parlayed with yer Dark Lord," he said, twisting the title into a mocking tone. "This were th'result. That false color added in is magical detection." He pointed at the screen where Jerry glowed with a bright red, almost pink light.
"That hue indicates full divinities. Guess which ones," he said with a wink and a smirk. "Here's a hint."
He pointed to the figure on the cross.
Beatrice stared at the phone, her face expressionless, but her whole body entirely still. The leg that had been bouncing was completely still. Gary sat there, letting the video play, letting her see her god writhe in agony upon the cross for a moment. Then he turned his phone around and pulled up another clip.
This was one Julie had sent him a few months ago. Before this whole business with the vampires had begun. He'd sent her a text asking if she was in the office, and she had responded by sending him a video of herself, Liam and Suzanne having a picnic. He'd thought of this because, when he first watched it, he had thought she looked somewhat relieved. As if she'd just come through a hard time. Beatrice didn't need to know when the clip was taken.
"Here's Miss Allard," he said. "Yesterday. Bringing a knife into a nest full o'wizards is kinna dumb move, y'ask me. Expecting t'accomplish anything with it? Twice as dumb."
He let Beatrice watch Suzanne feeding Julie a strawberry for a few seconds before turning it back off and tucking it into his pocket.
"Welp," he said, slapping his knees. "Ya got anything t'say fer yerself?"
Beatrice simply laid there, her eyes distant and unfocused. Gary gave her a few moments, then shrugged and stood.
"Awright," he drawled, laying his accent on pretty thick. "Guess we'll hear yer side at th'trial."
He banged on the door and left. Before it closed, he heard a sob and smiled to himself.
The walk back to the front guard station was quick.
"Did you get everything you needed, si-err, Director Johnson?" the guard asked as he returned Gary's weapons.
"Ayup," Gary said. "Fat lot o'good it did me, though."

In the deepest pits of depression
Sookie lay in her bed, unmoving, as she had for the past forty-nine hours. Her stomach rumbled, but she ignored it. Her bladder screamed for release, but she ignored that, too.
Well, not ignored. She relished the sensation of hunger and the pain of holding in her urine. The figure sitting in the comfortable chair next to the bed provided no comfort, for she had reached out and stopped her every time Sookie tried to add to her own physical pain. Sookie never quite understood why people stopped her from hurting herself. The injuries could not last more than a few seconds. They didn't even leave behind scars. Only the hand of a mortal could injure her in a way that wouldn't heal almost instantly. Why couldn't they understand that putting pain in her body helped take the pain from her heart?
No, of course not. Nobody understood that but her. She didn't know who it was who sat in the chair. Erinne or Emily or Elena or Emma or Maryann. It was one of them, she knew. She'd gotten too close to them in the past few months for them to leave her alone now. She knew they were taking shifts, sitting with her. About three dozen people filled the small, smokey room, all of them hunched over simple wooden cups full of mead or some stronger spirits, talking quietly to each other as a woman in what looked like a parody of Native American made a simple song by humming along to the pluckings of what looked like a shamisen in one corner.
She turned back to her companion at the table she'd claimed and refilled both of their cups from the larger jug of mead in front of her. She raised her cup in a salute which he mirrored and then drank.

The men were shouting angrily at the figure, too far away for her Babelfish to translate. She touched the engraving on it and willed itself to increase its range, until she caught a snippet of what they were saying.

She was clad in a chain mail shirt and pants, over some thin padding. On her back, a heater shield was strapped, the face of it made of shining steel and engraved with the image of an open book. Above it, the handle of an ornate sword protruded. Based on the sword's hilt and the length of the blade, Kathy judged it to be a viking sword, not too dissimilar from the powerful artifact Jerry carried.
As she watched, the woman reached back and yanked the sword free. The shield shook for just a second, then leaped off her back and flipped around, attaching itself to her arm. Kathy felt a hand on her shoulder as her companion joined her on the narrow porch.

But out of no where on 4th of March 2023, she cheated on me with her old FWB who recently come back reach out to her on that time. How do i know this? I had never dated before in my life anytime and I wanted to have someone in my life who came from similar circumstances. I was a victim a high amount of bullying from girls in my high school from girls regarding my appearance, as I was overweight and puberty had ruined my face but during the 2 years of covid I lost 30 kgs weight and changed my lifestyle which made me get an entirely new look that was highly noticeable.
Now to the main issue, I had expressed my preference in a relationship that I needed someone who was exactly like me ( never dated prior) or I don’t want to date at all to my now ex and then best friend when we were friends and she used to say and show how she never dated and used hate how people dated in high school period even when they aren’t mature enough to date. I don’t know this count as manipulation or not but I thought I had found the person I wanted and that was one of the main attraction factors that made me fall for her. She was the one who initiated everything in a relationship, asked me out and started everything( it all came from her side). Our relationship was going pretty good , she was a beyond amazing girlfriend I could ask for and I was not an as good bf because I really didn’t know what a bf is supposed to do in certain situations but I still tried to do my best to my knowledge and I used to learn how bfs should act from a tiktok page. Even got her a heating and massaging belt when I used to see her suffering with cramps during her time of the months, tried my best to support her through her career and her family issues. I even tried cooking for her even though, I never did for anyone apart for myself.
Throughout the relationship I told her how Much i wanted to marry her and i really did want to with all my heart. I had my plans to talk to her parents and my parents for our marriage once i get a good paying job which i was/am actively searching , I needed the job to win the approval of her dad. Our marriage would have granted her Australian citizenship that would have given her limitless career opportunities, which i really wanted to give to her . She always asked me why I never told my parents about our her as my gf but I feared if we ever broke up how will i face my parents , thats why i only wanted to tell them when i was ready to marry her completely.
Now the breaking point was , throughout our relationship she used to talk about a guy friend of hers lets call him A. She said he was a friend whom she had a crush on but he used to really insult her and thier friendship ended due to his insulting behaviour. She used to have claimed to meet him only couple of times as he was way older and a working individual whereas she was in high school, but she used to talk about him quite frequently ( like once in every week or 2)and that eventually started becoming an insecurity of mine.
So one night when she was asleep, I snooped through her phone ( we both had access to each other’s phone) while I was drunk( i am a really rare drinker, like3-4 times a year) and searched that A’s name on her whatsapp . There were multiple chats in which he was mentioned and i read all of them only to realise he wasn’t a friend but her ex boyfriend, she was dating him less then a year before we started dating. Throughout the relationship, she used to call me her first love , boyfriend etc and so did I ( but it was truth from my side). I woke her up and confronted her on which she started crying and begging for forgiveness , she tried to convince me it was just a relationship of name and there was nothing serious between them like we have but i had no trust left to believe any of it, she told me if she had said anything about this we would have never ended up dating. I asked her just one question, if you called me your first everything, why did you ever even mention about A to me and that to so many times ? To which her reply was “ I don’t know why I told you about him, I have no idea”.
For the next 10 days, our relationship became cold and dry from my side as I was giving her a silent treatment and she was as trying everything to please me even making my favourite food( she was one of the best cooks I ever met in my life) and trying to show all sorts of affection . Tbh, in those 10 days I was trying to process everything as I wanted to move past it and continue my relationship with her again the same way it was earlier but at every end of those days we used to end up arguing and fighting. The fights and arguments were sometimes from her side or sometimes from mine, I ended up breaking up with her after 10 days which was really nasty and happened over text. We met once after that to give back each other our stuff and rarely talked about anything else. I blocked her but I couldn’t for over a few days as i missed her a lot and unblocked her back , she messaged me after a few days of unblocking and our conversation went good but we ended up fighting about our relationship/ breakup and she blocked me .
I was blocked for around 2 months and i missed her so much that my health went downhill, i started getting panic attacks, breathless ness and random episodes of crying. Then 1 day I saw she had not blocked me on Linkedin so I reached out to her asking for a normal talking terms friendship because I was really in a bad shape mentally and emotionally to which she agreed. That friendship went for a month and we even hung out couple of times and my condition even improved but we had arguments and fights that were mostly initiated me because of my bad mental and emotional health and she ended up blocking me from everywhere because of that reason .
I was blocked for over a month and my health become worse just like before when i decided to send her a message via banking on her bday to wish her,she ended up unblocking me again and I initiated a similar type of friendship like we had before of talking terms. But i tried talking really very less so that i dont end up arguing or fighting, we did argue and fight but it was way less then before. She had completely changed her lifestyle and her persnality which was really different from our time like she started drinking really frequently , started smoking, made lots of guy friends , became really aggressive, starting going to clubs and bars. I really don’t like( I have a really conservative mentality and thinking )any of it but i knew i cant say anything as we were no longer a couple and i had no right over her life , we had an argument about it but knew can’t say anything about this now so i just stayed quite in fear of getting blocked. After almost 2 weeks of chatting , she told me yesterday that she is seeing someone and wants to block as she wants to move on from me for good and blocked me again.
I haven’t slept since last night and feel numb all over, my brain has stoped processing anything. Panic attacks, breathing issues and brain fog has taken over me. I can’t seek professional help because my career might get impacted by it and i don’t have any friends ( they cut me off cause unknown reasons ). My social skills have almost been killed along with my mental and emotional health, Reddit advice is my last resort to recovering from all this.
Was I really wrong for breaking up or what could i have done in this case. Also any advice or suggestions for me please , what should i do to recover from this trauma.
