As logical people, with a great capacity for logically interpreting the world around us, and an understanding of the biological inevitably of death, how do you cope with it?
Although many of us feel an extremely strong bond with pets, I’m more interested in how we deal with the death of a loved one. I have never married, but have suffered the losses of both of my siblings (older brother when I was 14, and younger sister when I was 22).
I’m now 60 and my mother has had two strokes. My father is stage IV prostate/bone cancer and will be dead within weeks if not days.
So my question is, what is the interplay between logic and emotion for the INTJ when dealing with the death(s) of family? For reference, my dying father is a malignant narcissist who ONLY criticized me for my entire life. The death of my brother caused me to become a Sigma Male INTJ since my family exploded and I was left on my own to figure out what life was about. That probably helped me become INTJ, and I believe it caused me to be a Sigma Male.
I can’t answer all comments, or even any, but I WILL read them to try and learn from you fine people.

🔗Dorman Emergency Door Unlock Tool with Vinyl Grip

https://preview.redd.it/ssvyme07ob1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=99f8476a67c556974c558632ea0d2efc7a69de0a
Well, my experience with this Dorman Emergency Door Unlock Tool has been quite an adventure, let me tell you. I mean, I've always been a bit of a worrier, especially when it comes to my car door. I've had my fair share of lockouts, and it's never a good time. But this little tool, it's changed everything!
First off, I love how versatile it is. I can reshape it to fit the thickness of my door and the location of the lock. It's like it's tailor-made just for me, and my car! Plus, it comes with a nice vinyl hand grip. It makes it so much easier to use. It's like holding onto a friendly, familiar face in a moment of pure panic.
Another great thing about this tool is that it's portable. It folds up so neatly, like a little origami masterpiece. It fits perfectly in my pocket, purse, or any other compartment I can find. It's like having a magic trick up my sleeve, always ready to save the day.
But, let's be real, no product is perfect. I have to admit, this tool can sometimes be a bit of a troublemaker. It's not always as smooth as I'd like it to be. There have been a few times when it's stuck in the narrow space between the door and the weather stripping. It's kind of like trying to force a square peg into a round hole, you know? It can be a bit frustrating.
However, on the bright side, I've found that by taking a little extra time and being patient, I can usually get it to work. And when it does, it's such a relief! It's like a personal victory, and it makes me feel so smart and resourceful.
So, would I recommend this product? Absolutely! It's not perfect, but it's worked wonders for me. It's like having a little insurance policy tucked away in my pocket, always there to help me out when I need it most. I'm just glad I stumbled upon it.

🔗Lock Technology 4-Piece Easy Access Folding Door Opening Kit

https://preview.redd.it/scl6xh67ob1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f050ad141adf382263d7dcfea99d013d88623cc9
I recently discovered the Lock Technology 145 Easy Access Folding Door Opening Kit, and it has become an indispensable tool for unlocking my car doors. This compact device is a true lifesaver when I've locked my keys inside or when I need to access the trunk in a hurry.
The highlights that caught my attention are the screws that don't require a coupler, which have made it incredibly easy to use. Plus, the collapsible design allows for easy storage in my glove compartment. Another great feature is the presence of a middle extension piece that covers the entire car and can be used for long reach applications. The shorter tip is perfect for accessing lock buttons, while the glowing tips on models 135-2B and 135-2C are an excellent innovation for nighttime use.
One downside I experienced was the need for more precise angle adjustments when trying to unlock my car doors. While the rigid design facilitated easier access through the window, it could be trickier for those with less experience or unsteady hands. Other than that minor inconvenience, this door opening kit has been a game changer for me.
So, if you're someone who often finds themselves in need of a last-minute or after-hours unlock solution, I highly recommend giving the Lock Technology 145 Easy Access Folding Door Opening Kit a try. You won't be disappointed!

Imagine locking your keys in your car. It's a frustrating and stressful situation, but with the Universal Lockout Tool, you can save yourself some time and money. This ingenious tool works with most American cars, as well as some international brands such as Audi, Toyota, and Volkswagen.
The best part? It's made of sturdy metal, giving you the confidence to use it without worrying about damaging your vehicle. It measures about 5/8" x 22", making it compact enough to carry around in your glove compartment or tool kit.
While some users have had issues with its thinness and flexibility, many professionals find it a decent entry-level tool for those occasional lockouts. Plus, at its affordable price, it's definitely worth considering as an insurance policy against those unexpected key-locking mishaps.
But remember, practice makes perfect. Always read the directions included on the back of the package and familiarize yourself with the tool before attempting to use it on your car. With some patience and a bit of finesse, you'll be able to unlock your vehicle in no time!

🔗Geevorks Power Door Lock Actuator 12V

https://preview.redd.it/muh2e2z7ob1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d19305a1e6ea49f50436e7ed756977e30c865fab
As a car enthusiast, I was excited to try out the Geevorks 12V door lock actuator. This kit made upgrading my old manual door locks to automatic ones a breeze! The installation was relatively easy, and the product included everything from door lock actuators to remote controls. The remote controls allowed me to lock and unlock my car from a distance, giving me peace of mind when I step away from my vehicle.
One of the main highlights for me was the trunk release button, adding an extra layer of convenience when I need to access my trunk. Additionally, the door lock actuator can be used in remote control and alarm systems, making it a versatile product for various car security needs.
On the downside, the remote control distance could be improved. In some cases, I experienced a weaker signal which made locking or unlocking the car from a distance less reliable. Despite this minor inconvenience, overall, the Geevorks door lock actuator has made my driving experience more secure and convenient.

🔗Car Door Unlock Tool with Vinyl Grip

https://preview.redd.it/c6x7rm58ob1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=803f575bfc977f1e89d1fc88355828684cde5c1a
Dorman's Emergency Door Unlock Tool is a handy little gadget that can save your day if you accidentally lock your keys inside your car. Imagine the relief of unlocking your car door within seconds using the slim design of this tool, which can be easily folded to fit in your pocket, purse or other compartments. The vinyl hand grip makes it comfortable and easy to use even in tight spaces.
However, there are some downsides to consider. Some users found it difficult to get the tool past the window seal and mentioned it folds up easily during use. It may not work effectively for all types of car doors due to their varying thickness and lock locations.
Overall, this tool can be quite useful for those who occasionally find themselves locked out of their vehicle. But be aware that it might require some practice or patience to get it right depending on your particular car model. So, if you're looking for a quick solution to this common mishap, Dorman's Emergency Door Unlock Tool could be worth a shot.

🔗Universal 10-Piece Vehicle Unlock Tool Kit

https://preview.redd.it/s6357qm8ob1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a98a6022487db229e198a018819a6715ec59de81
I recently had an unfortunate experience where I locked myself out of my car. Panicking, I remembered the Universal 10-Piece Vehicle Unlock Tool Kit I'd heard about. Its assorted tools and convenient pouch seemed perfect for this situation. Upon pulling it out of the bag, I was immediately disappointed by the poor instructions. The metal tools felt flimsier than anticipated, bending on the first attempt. However, the variety of tools allowed me to eventually unlock my car door, although not without a fight. I wouldn't recommend this to a friend, but it did save me from an expensive professional service.
The tool kit is compact and easy to carry, making it a handy emergency tool for drivers. The metal tools are versatile, catering to different vehicle models. The convenient pouch is spacious enough to hold all the tools. However, the build quality of the tools is disappointing, as they seem to bend easily under pressure. Overall, it's a useful tool kit for occasional use, but don't expect it to last a lifetime.

🔗Unlock Your Car Door with Ease: LTI135 2-Piece Easy Access ToolKit

https://preview.redd.it/tw4kx129ob1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=99dbc9a67e834fef37c0f4356ab77c6c6aeadaad
I recently used the Lock Technology Easy Access Door Unlocking Tool Kit 135 in a tricky situation where I locked myself out of my car. To my relief, this 2-piece tool easily collapsed for convenient storage and extended to reach the car's windows. The whale tail tip design worked like a charm on the lock surfaces, making it a breeze to unlock my car door. Plus, the included plastic slip jim and door wedges provided extra support.
However, despite the overall positive experience, I did face a minor issue with this kit. The lack of a highlight feature in the product description made it somewhat challenging to understand the exact specifications of each component. Additionally, the green color of the tool might not appeal to everyone's taste.
In conclusion, the Lock Technology Easy Access Door Unlocking Tool Kit 135 proved to be a reliable and effective solution for my car lockout predicament. Its collapsible design, whale tail tip, and additional accessories make it a worthwhile investment for those looking to keep a handy tool in their vehicle for emergencies.

As a reviewer who has experienced the joy of retrieving keys from locked cars, I can attest to the life-saving capabilities of the Steck Big Easy Glow with Wedge Lockout Tool Kit. This kit has everything you need to rescue someone from their own forgetfulness or mischief at any hour of the day or night. The glow-in-the-dark yellow hue is not only cool but also incredibly functional, allowing you to see the tool even through tinted windows.
One aspect that really stood out for me was the easy wedge feature. It offers controlled opening of the car door for insertion of the Big Easy Glo, making it incredibly easy to access the inside of the vehicle without causing any damage. Additionally, its non-marring wedge prevents scratches or damages to your car, ensuring your beloved vehicle stays pristine even after a minor lockout incident.
However, despite its many positives, there are a few cons worth noting. The included air wedge seems to be somewhat delicate and may not last as long as other parts of the kit. Also, while the kit is effective on 98% of all cars and trucks, there might be some models or makes that are not compatible with this tool.
In conclusion, if you're someone who often encounters people locked out of their cars, then the Steck Big Easy Glow with Wedge Lockout Tool Kit is definitely worth considering. It's easy to use, effective, and offers an array of useful features that cater to different types of car locks. While it may have some minor drawbacks, overall, it's a reliable tool that can save both time and money when used appropriately.

I have been using the Steck Lockout Tool Kit Big Easy for over a year now, and let me tell you, it's been an absolute game-changer. This tool has saved me countless times when I've locked my keys inside the car, much to the amusement of my friends.
One of the first things that stood out was the high visibility pink powder coating on its 55-inch long handle. In the middle of the night or during a snowstorm, finding this pink tool is a breeze compared to the black ones I used before. Plus, the improved non-marring wedge is now wider, longer, and smoother, making it even easier to use in various car models.
While the Big Easy is primarily designed for unlocking car doors, it also features a lock knob lifter, which comes in handy for cars with flat lock knobs at the top of the door. No more trying to improvise with a wire hanger or credit card - the Big Easy does it all.
However, there are a couple of minor drawbacks. Some users might find the storage size of the tool inconvenient, and it would be great if the package included a pump-up air bag for extra versatility.
Overall, the Steck Lockout Tool Kit Big Easy has been a reliable and convenient addition to my toolbox. With its 55-inch long handle and high visibility pink coating, I can quickly and easily unlock any car door without causing damage. If you're someone who frequently misplaces their keys or finds themselves locked out of their vehicle, I highly recommend giving this tool a try.

I recently installed the Biltek Power Car Door Lock and Unlock Kit in my Chevy Colorado, and I must say, it has been a game-changer. Before, I had to manually lock and unlock each door, but now, everything is just a button press away. The package included everything I needed to get started, from the simple diagram to the main module and actuators. Plus, it's compatible with my alarm system, so I can control everything right from my alarm remote.
The standout feature for me is the keyless entry. It's so convenient to hop in the car and just unlock the doors with a push of a button. The only downside I noticed was that the installation process took some time and effort, but once it was done, everything worked seamlessly.
Overall, I highly recommend the Biltek Power Car Door Lock and Unlock Kit to anyone looking to upgrade their vehicle to a central locking system with keyless entry. It's easy to use, reliable, and a great investment for any car owner.

I recently upgraded my car with the Biltek CX-402 Universal Central Door Lock and Unlock Conversion Kit, and I must say it's made a world of difference in terms of convenience. The kit is easy to install, requiring no additional hardware and coming with a clear diagram that guides you through the process.
One of the standout features is its universal compatibility, fitting all known cars, trucks, SUVs, and vans. This has been particularly useful for me, as I often drive different vehicles. The Central locking system provides a state-of-the-art solution, converting manual door locks into a fully functional keyless entry system.
However, there's a downside to this product - the poor-quality wires. The wires were the only problem I encountered during installation, which was quite frustrating. Despite this, the Biltek CX-402 is an overall solid choice for anyone looking to upgrade their vehicle's locking system.

I recently got my hands on this LTI LT-126 Easy Access Tool and boy, has it been a game-changer for me! After suffering countless failed attempts to unlock doors in tight spaces or with tricky locks, this little tool has made things so much easier. The whale tail tip design is pure genius, allowing it to grip the lock more securely and catch it without much effort. Plus, the fact that you can use it with or without the vinyl tips depending on your preference just adds to its versatility.
What I particularly appreciated was how the tool came packaged in a simple yet sturdy custom kraft cardboard box. Not only did it make the whole experience feel more special, but also added an environmental touch which is always a welcome sight.
However, one thing that could have been even better was if the tool had come with some detailed instructions on how best to handle it, especially for first-time users. Nonetheless, once you figure out the right technique, this LTI LT-126 Easy Access Door Tool truly lives up to its name!

As a frequent traveler, I've found the Grip 8pc Lockout Tool Kit to be an absolute lifesaver. Imagine being stuck outside your car on a sweltering day, with no spare key or anyone to help you out. That's where this tool kit comes in. It's got everything you need to unlock your car door in no time.
One of the standout features of this kit is the slim jim bars - they're so thin yet sturdy, you'll wonder how they're able to pry open even the toughest doors. The slim jim bars are backed up by other useful tools like the wire form S hook slide lock tool and the wonder tool. Together, they make sure you're never locked out for long.
On the flip side, I did find the metal parts to be slightly flimsier than I'd hoped. It's not a deal-breaker but it does make me wary of using this kit too frequently. However, for occasional usage or as a backup tool, the Grip 8pc Lockout Tool Kit definitely earns its keep.
In conclusion, this tool kit has proven to be an essential part of my travel gear. It's well-made, easy to use, and offers a range of tools for different types of car doors. 2024.05.19 07:52 ValKristoff IS THERE A COMPY INVASION IN NEW YORK?

IS THERE A COMPY INVASION IN NEW YORK?
The Quetzalcoatlus pair that nested on the roof of One World Trade Center was the subject of global media coverage for weeks, meanwhile compys appeared in the sewers of New York and started to multiply quite rapidly at the expense of the rat population. By the time the Government of New York City realised the presence of the compys, the animals had learned that they could find a lot of food in the garbage extremely easily. Before last year there were a few dozen compy in the city, now it is estimated that there could be around 2700-4600.
According to a recent study, there could be 1.5-3 million compys in the city by 2035.
This is not only a huge safety problem, but also a health hazard as well, as compys can eat practically almost anything and they can be extremely aggressive towards people and their bites are poisonous by itself. On Nublar and Sorna they had natural enemies, they were a part of a food chain, in the big cities there are no carnivorous theropods to regulate the compy population, they have infinite food and space. The city government is not only incompetent but to this day denies the enormity of the issue.
And that's just New York, other major cities have reported similar problems, but NY is undoubtedly the most threatened city at this point.
What do you think? Is it really just mass hysteria? Or is this the harsh new reality?
PS Yes, I've heard about the Anti-Compy Synthetic Carnivorous Dinosaur Scent from Kirby Enterprises, leave me alone with that BS. They are even bigger crooks than BioSyn.

When it tried to talk to him he was weirdly aggressive, playing with a knife while talking with his shark eyes and anger This is some weird shit he's done before. As well as opening a knife drawer and telling me to make sure e I can reach.
He's slammed the table, the steering wheel and the dashboard in front of me.
Told me this last episode when he was saying he would "fuck me up" that I don't "train" and I'm not tough...as if I should need to be???
Told me over and over that it's my behavior and I need help. That i am a narcissist and insane
That he is just playing mentally ill to get state money and how dare I use it against him (when I told him he wad splitting)
Lied to the therapist about saying he should punch me and then smiled about it when I called it out later
Told me ther therapist said it was okay to threaten me because he didn't hit me - she did not
We were walking and he made some comment about where and how I was walking, as if not near enough to him
Gets seriously weird when we are in a crowd or at shows paranoid thinking idk what, but something about the men around us and me And also when I watch other bands play....
Driving in hawaii started to get weird about me "looking around" has done this many many times
Ofc he thinks the world is flat and the sky is not real.....so there's that
Has no job and no real prospects. Because he hates the idea of work and additionally because they garnish him for 30 year old child support
He talks about beating up his ex wife cuz she supposedly gave him an std with absolutely no remorse and has no compunction about women being abused, he in fact says No one ever talks about what she did to cause it...when the issue comes up on TV or wherever
Yeah, he's a winner alright 🙄 Jolene says you can have him.....and so do I

Correct me if my premise is wrong but whenever radical Christianity is involved in the news, it’s always in America. Specifically the south and midwestern regions.
We rarely hear about other Christians from other parts of the world having the same beliefs and hatred that American ones do (although I’m not denying that it probably has happened).
Why do American Christians seem to be so focused on Gay marriage, abortion, satanism, and purity more than say, European Christians?

2024.05.19 07:50 ClearImportance1618 Too Many Dogs in Malls! And Most Owners Are Validation and Attention-Seeking Brats

Well perhaps unpopular opinion.
But is anyone else tired of stepping into a mall and being greeted by a chorus of yapping dogs? I get it, you love your precious pooch, but the rest of us came to shop and eat, not to navigate through a canine convention or a pet parade. Malls are not the place for your fur babies to showcase their barking skills and sniffing habits. Seriously, leave them at home or take them to an open park where they can actually enjoy themselves instead of being dragged through crowded, noisy stores.
I know — especially in Manila and other major cities in PH there aren’t enough parks, so naturally, the solution is to bring your entitled pets to a shop or restaurant where they can slobber over everything. Insert sarcastic cough.
Malls being greedy enterprises too will never have regulations on this, but perhaps there should be some etiquette around this? (LOL asa pa on etiquette sa Pinas).
Also MOST of the dog owners who bring their pets to malls seem more interested in validation and showing off their fluffy accessories than considering how annoying it is for everyone else. The world doesn’t revolve around your dog, people. Iwan mo sa bahay mga yan --- but then again how can you get all the attention and Validation?

Appearance: Willem Ryger always seems to have a coy smile about him, accentuated by his strong jawline and sharp cheekbones. His curly light brown hair has begun to thin, though his pronounced brows remain strong. Standing around six feet tall, his posture always exudes confidence, and his near-yellow brown eyes always seem to be hiding a secret or a joke.

Talent(s): Philosophising, Carousing, Gambling
Negative Trait(s): n/a
Starting Title(s): Lord of Willow Wood, Ser
Starting Location: King’s Landing
Alternate Characters: n/a

Bio-Timeline:

  • 20 BC: Willem is born into the cursed bloodline of House Ryger to Willow and Ryman Ryger. House Ryger has long kept their curse a secret to the outside world. As the story goes, at the birth of every Ryger there is a new weeping willow sprouted in their willow forests and the health of the weeping willow is said to be directly tied to the health of the Ryger.
  • 18 BC: Willem’s brother, Marq, is born.
  • 10 BC: Willem is sent to ward under Vance of Wayfarer’s Rest at the behest of his grandfather Lord Leo Ryger who detests the idea of his disappointment of a son raising the eventual heir of Willow Wood.
  • 8 BC: Willem makes quick friends with Beck Bracken, also warding at Wayfarer’s rest, though he takes a special liking to his sister, Perra, and a childhood crush forms.
  • 2 BC: Willem is knighted but the event is overshadowed by the capitulation of the Vances to Aegon the Conqueror. He returns home to Willow Wood where his grandfather informs him of the family curse and in order to avoid the curse he is sent to The Eyrie to join their court, quickly earning their trust and his outsider perspective and connections are used in the capacity of Master of the Thresholds. Also during this time his first son, a bastard named Rickard, is revealed to him. Despite the child being of common birth and mute, Willem takes him in to raise him as his own, though much of the raising is done by his servants.
  • 1 BC: Funnily enough, similar to how Willem was present when King Aegon landed at Wayfarer’s Rest, Queen Visenya lands at The Eyrie, and Willem is one of the few advisors to Sharra to counsel bending the knee.
  • 1 AC: Willem Ryger weds Lynese Hightower, though his true love is still Perra Bracken yet he spares her his family curse by not wedding her. Later in the year his first trueborn daughter is born and named Roslyn. Additionally, his nephew, Robyn, is born, and the pair of Robyn and Roslyn are inseparable.
  • 2 AC: Willem and Lynese have another child and name her Mya.
  • 5 AC: Willem and Lynese have their last child together, naming their son Myles, though the curse claims Lynese’s life shortly after his birth. After her death, his life of debauchery begins and he begins his yearly parties for the elite of Westeros. Another nephew, Addam, is also born, though Willem does not celebrate the addition to their family with his brother.
  • 7 AC: Willem involves himself in the Tully plot against King Aegon, though his ties to the Vale arouse suspicion and he is barred from much of the decision making. Due to this untrust, he informs Lord Blackwood of the plot who takes on much of the burden of revealing the plot to Queen Visenya. Due to Willem’s close ties to the Vale and his lord grandfather’s acceptance, House Ryger swears fealty to House Arryn directly. During this time, the stress pushes Willem into the arms of his childhood crush, Perra Bracken, despite his continued refusal to wed her. Unbeknownst to him a child is spawned from this affair.
  • 8 AC: Willem becomes a personal confidant and source of comfort to the grieving Queen Rhaenys. The intimacy of their relationship is kept a closely guarded secret, especially their bedding which results in another child unbeknownst to him. His duties to the Vale require a large distance to be maintained between them, forbidding any true relationship from developing.
  • 10 AC: Willem is present for Sharra Arryn’s death yet at the same time his own father, Ryman Ryger, dies. Rather than return home, Willem persists in The Eyrie during the trying time for House Arryn. As Ronnel Arryn comes of age, Willem is retained as Master of the Thresholds.
  • 11 AC: Willem’s grandfather, Lord Leo Ryger, dies soon after, as if he only lived out of spite to not see Ryman inherit Willow Wood. His death occurs after a visit to The Eyrie, the second time of visiting with the first being the oath to House Arryn, where Leo further informs Willem of their curse. Were a Ryger to stand quiet enough in the weeping willing forests of their home, he could hear their ancestors. Lastly, it is revealed that despite Leo’s attempts to shield Willem from the curse, a rot has set into Willem’s willow. Due to this, Willem accepts the counsel that his brother Marq take on much of the responsibility of ruling Willow Wood.
  • 12 AC: Willem’s eldest daughter, Roslyn, is informed of everything that his grandfather has informed him of. He decides to keep Roslyn close and begin to teach her much of his subterfuge and sets her up to inherit many of his connections should he pass.
  • 13 AC: Willem’s daughter, Mya, is sent to ‘squire’ for the Cavaliers upon their creation.
  • 15 AC: Willem’s son, Myles, is sent to squire for the legendary knight Lord Corbray, though the boy is difficult to train mostly due to his protest of being sent away from his family.
  • 18 AC: Willem’s bastard son, Rickard, is finally knighted and immediately following his ceremony he takes off to find where his commoner mother was sent off to. Unfortunately, the Riverwar breaks out during his travels and he finds himself on either side of the war depending on which side of the battle he happens to need to be on to continue his search for his mother.
  • 19 AC: Willem is present for the wedding of Queen Visenya and Lord Lyn Egen and does his best to aid in the planning of the festivities.
  • 20 AC: Willem’s brother, Marq, declares himself Regent of Willow Wood. While having been the de facto regent, the declaration comes under contention from Willem. To resolve the dispute, Roslyn is made Steward of Willow Wood and acts as eyes and ears for Willem. Her loyalties are in contention, unbeknownst to Willem, as Roslyn and her cousin Robyn further their relationship into intimacy.
  • 22 AC: Willem’s bastard son, Rickard, returns from his travels. Being mute, his ability to convey his travels is limited, but the corpse he returns with bears the resemblance of the woman Willem bedded long ago. They put her body to rest in the weeping willow forests and Rickard forever swears his service to his father.
  • 23 AC: Willem’s trueborn son, Myles, returns to Willem now a knight. He is given the truth of the family curse and his mental state further spirals, with his long protest of being sent away now given a proper justification. Willem brings the entire family to the forests to find each of their weeping willows, where Myles finds the rot of his father to have spread to his tree nonetheless. He vows to make his death worthwhile, though Willem cautions that despite his own tree having rot, he has yet to perish.
  • 25 AC: Willem leads the entirety of House Ryger to the festivities in King’s Landing.

I recently purchased the Budge Lite Car Cover, and I have to say, it's been a game-changer for me. First off, the material is super lightweight and breathable, which means my car doesn't get all stuffy under there. Plus, it's easy to handle and store when I'm not using it.
One thing that really stood out to me is how well it fits my car. The elastic hem ensures a snug fit, so even on a windy day, it stays put. And speaking of wind, the antenna patch is a nice touch that keeps my antenna safe and sound.
Now, let's talk about some drawbacks. While the cover does a decent job of keeping most things like dust and leaves off my car, it's not entirely waterproof. After a rain, I noticed some water seeping in, which was a bit disappointing.
Overall, I'm pretty happy with this Budge Lite Car Cover. It's lightweight, easy to handle, and provides a nice snug fit for my car. If you're looking for something to protect your vehicle from the elements, this might just be the perfect cover for you.

🔗Universal Fit Car Windshield Snow Cover and Side Mirror Covers

https://preview.redd.it/f6d5x240nb1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=285410d0828db6e6deb04f87d3caa99d69b762d1
I recently tried the Asz Car Windshield Cover for Ice and Snow, and I have to say, it made my winters so much more convenient. The thickened material is excellent at keeping out snow and ice, and I love that it comes with side mirror covers for added protection. The magnetic embedded design means it's super easy to put on and take off, which is a game-changer when I'm in a hurry.
However, one minor issue is that it's a little bulky, so it's not the most space-efficient option out there. Overall, I highly recommend the Asz Car Windshield Cover for anyone looking to simplify their winter mornings! .

🔗All-Weather Heavy Duty Car Cover for Sedans

https://preview.redd.it/tzpw7sl0nb1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=129bb66cdaf87d2c75f1775f74081db2f1a7e0d1
Last fall, I got my hands on the Armor All Heavy Duty Premium Car Cover for my sedan, and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed. The first thing that caught my attention was its promise of all-weather protection. Living in a region with unpredictable weather, this was a godsend! The cover's heavy-duty material and strong stitching have indeed safeguarded my car against various unpredictable conditions, from sudden downpours to blistering sun.
One feature that stood out was the cover's breathable material. I was concerned about moisture buildup causing mold and mildew on my vehicle's finish. However, the Armor All cover has proven effective in preventing such issues, making it worth every penny. Additionally, the cover's 6-point high wind protection system ensures that it stays in place during stormy days, providing me with a peace of mind I never had with my previous covers.
However, there is a small con. The cover can be cumbersome to carry around due to its size and weight. A built-in storage bag or a slightly lighter design would have been a great addition. Despite this downside, I find the Armor All Heavy Duty Premium Car Cover to be an excellent investment for any car owner who values their vehicle's appearance and needs dependable protection against harsh weather elements.

🔗Budge Lite Car Cover for Sedans Up to 16'8

https://preview.redd.it/1lelklw0nb1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=fef3706a6bdc7c67ccf50471a0e55a0fecc9a7ed
I can't stress enough how crucial it is to protect your car from the elements, and the Budge Lite Car Cover has been a lifesaver in this regard. As someone who keeps their vehicle in a garage with a metal roof, I know all too well how dust, soot, and debris can accumulate and cause damage to a car's finish. I've been using this cover for over five years on multiple cars, and it's been a game-changer. I've been amazed at how effectively it keeps my car clean and dust-free, even in a very dirty environment.
The key to keeping my cars in pristine condition is constant maintenance and proper storage. I make sure to cover my vehicle each time I park it, and I've found that the Budge Lite Car Cover is the perfect solution for my needs. The single layer of polypropylene is lightweight and easy to use, making it an ideal choice for indoor storage and occasional outdoor usage against dust, dirt, and debris.
One of the standout features of this car cover is its breathability. Constructed with a single layer of polypropylene, the Budge Lite Cover allows air to circulate, which helps to reduce condensation. This is particularly important for preventing mold and mildew from forming on your car's surfaces. Additionally, the elasticized hem and built-in grommets secure the cover all-year round, ensuring that it stays in place even during strong winds.
I've also used the car cover outside on weekends or for temporary coverings, and I've been impressed with its ability to keep my car dry and spotless, even in heavy rainstorms. The water just beads up and rolls off, which is a testament to the quality of the material.
However, I will say that the fit can vary since it's a universal cover, so sometimes it might be too tight or too loose, depending on your car's size and shape. And despite being lightweight and easy to clean with just a hose, some users may find that the lack of a soft inner lining can catch dust and other debris, which could scratch your car's finish.
Overall, the Budge Lite Car Cover is a fantastic product that's perfect for indoor storage and occasional outdoor use. Its lightweight design and breathability make it a great choice for keeping your car clean and protected from the elements, and the additional features, like the elasticized hem and built-in grommets, make it a secure and user-friendly option. At its budget-friendly price point, this car cover is a no-brainer for anyone looking to protect their vehicle from dust, debris, and damage.

🔗High Quality 3-Layer Car Cover with UV Protection

https://preview.redd.it/ovqoqjf1nb1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7ccd5246809f4cb664c243f5bfacca4520b4cf00
I recently purchased the Leader Accessories Car Cover for my vehicle, and I must say, it has exceeded my expectations. The three-layer fabric is incredibly breathable, providing excellent air circulation which has helped to keep my car dry and free from moisture damage.
One feature that truly stands out is the UV protection it offers, ensuring my vehicle's paint remains safe from those harmful sunrays. Additionally, the elastic hem provides a snug fit, keeping the cover in place even during windy conditions due to its attached strap and buckle.
However, despite its many great qualities, I found that the cover doesn't seem to offer much resistance to dust. Nonetheless, the package it comes in is convenient and includes an easy-to-use storage bag.
Overall, I would highly recommend the Leader Accessories Car Cover, especially for those seeking a reliable, well-fitting cover with outstanding UV protection!

🔗Durable All-Weather Car Cover with Door Zipper & Reflective Stripes

https://preview.redd.it/9q8exfq1nb1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d6c9c2652918a821704adb6cb2015d24e32b6759
I recently stumbled upon the Nilight Waterproof Car Cover and decided to give it a shot. What caught my eye was its premium 210T Oxford cloth, which I can confirm is both lightweight and incredibly durable. The fabric is waterproof, heat insulating, and breathable, making it perfect for all weather conditions.
One feature that stood out is the unique door zipper on the driver's side - it allows me quick and convenient access to my car without having to remove the entire cover. Additionally, the windproof straps and elastic hem help keep the cover snug even in strong winds, and the combination lock offers added security.
One downside I noticed is that while the reflective stripes are great for visibility at night, they can be a bit overly bright and reflective during the day when you're driving.
Overall, this all-weather car cover has done a great job protecting my car from the elements, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a solid, reliable solution to keep their vehicle clean and safe from the elements.

🔗Favoto Waterproof All-Weather Sedan Car Cover

https://preview.redd.it/uaklsf42nb1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8952a02b07290c0a20c8e1224a77a2ca4059fb18
I want to talk about my car cover experience, especially with the Favoto All-Weather Sedan Car Cover. As a car owner, I've learned the importance of protecting my vehicle from the harsh elements, both natural and man-made. The Favoto cover has been a game-changer for me.
Firstly, the driver's side zipper design is such a convenience. It makes getting in and out of the car a breeze, even when it's covered. The night reflection stripes are an added bonus - they make sure my car's contour is visible even in the dark, reducing the risk of accidents.
The Favoto cover is made of heavy-duty, 5-layer material that's both durable and waterproof. The cotton lining ensures no scratches on my car's paint. Unlike some other covers made of PE and PEVA, this one won't tear easily.
The best part? This cover provides comprehensive protection against all types of weather elements, from dust and snow to acid rain, bird droppings, and even pollution. And let's not forget about securing it - the elasticated edge along with the 4 securing straps under the car keep it in place, even on windy days.
In the real world, your car can face potential damages from weather, animals, and even people. Car covers like this one are a great investment to keep your car safe and sound. The Favoto All-Weather Sedan Car Cover offers excellent protection against all these threats.
And finally, I must mention how easy it is to store and carry this cover. It folds neatly into its storage bag and doesn't take up much space. This makes it perfect for those times when you need to take your cover with you.
In conclusion, if you're looking for a high-quality, all-weather car cover that's easy to use and provides complete protection, the Favoto All-Weather Sedan Car Cover is definitely worth considering.

🔗Motor Trend Snow-Proof Car Cover with Storage Bag and Lock

https://preview.redd.it/1p5kduo2nb1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=190fce66b0c3d35b99185416c27c2c2085a3b8e1
I recently got my hands on the Motor Trend All Season Weatherwear 1-Poly Layer Snow Proof, Water Resistant Car Cover Size XL1 - Fits Up to 210". Having a car that's subjected to harsh weather conditions, I was in need of something that could offer protection and durability. Since trying it out, I must say I am pleasantly surprised.
This cover has an extra durable polyester construction which indeed stands up well against various elements including snow, dust, wind, UV rays, and even minor scratchings. Not to mention, it also keeps the interior cool on sunny days. It even comes with a free storage bag and lock, which is a nice addition.
However, on the flip side, the material seems to be quite thin despite its claims. This might be a concern in areas with extreme wind conditions as it could potentially tear. Additionally, although the elastic hem at the bottom provides a snug fit, I found it a bit of a struggle to put on and remove.
In conclusion, the Motor Trend All Season Weatherwear Car Cover is a great option for those in search of an affordable, all-season car cover. While it may not be the most robust option out there, it gets the job done in terms of protecting your vehicle from most common weather conditions.

In addition to the cover, use a suitable storage location that provides protection from moisture, wind, and other environmental factors.

7. Are car covers resistant to ice accumulation and damage?

The best-quality car covers are designed to be water-resistant and windproof, reducing the risk of ice accumulation and damage. However, it's still important to remove accumulated snow and ice from the cover promptly, especially after significant snowfalls, to prevent damage and ensure optimal performance.

8. How often should I clean my car cover in the winter?

Car covers should be cleaned periodically to ensure they remain effective at protecting your vehicle. In winter, this may mean more frequent cleanings to remove salt, grime, and other debris. Follow the manufacturer's recommendations for cleaning and maintenance, as some materials may require specific care instructions.

9. Can I use the same car cover for summer and winter protection?

While some car covers are designed to provide year-round protection, not all will offer optimal performance in both summer and winter. Materials that are breathable and lightweight may be ideal for hot weather, while thicker, more insulated materials can be better for protecting your vehicle in the cold and snow. Consider the specific needs and conditions of your region and vehicle when selecting a cover that will provide the best protection throughout the year.

10. How can I store my car cover when not in use?

Car covers should be properly stored and maintained to prolong their lifespan. After removing the cover from your vehicle, gently brush off any loose snow, dirt, or debris. Fold or roll the cover neatly, and store it in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area to prevent mildew or damage from moisture. Following manufacturer's instructions on storage can also help keep your cover in optimal condition for extended use.

2024.05.19 07:45 Ariminiria Doctor Who Fic Search

Hello! I'm searching for a Doctor Who fic that I have been trying to find again for a while now.
It was a DoctoRose fic where Rose didn't get trapped in Pete's world on Doomsday, and so the plot then followed the events of the series with Rose added in. Many such fics, I know--
The thing that set this one apart is a few specific moments around the events of the episode Blink:
I'm pretty sure that at this point, Rose and the Doctor haven't gotten together yet and there's some tension with Martha and Rose clashing a bit. While they're stuck in 1969, Rose bumps into Eleven, who kisses her. Martha, not knowing about regeneration, sees this and takes this as proof that Rose either isn't interested in the Doctor or isn't good enough for him.
Eleven doesn't erase Rose's memory completely, just blurs out some of the timeline-sensitive bits of the conversation and what he looks like.
I've tried many, many tag search combos but nothing so far, any help is appreciated!

2024.05.19 07:42 Academic_Ad_3976 I’m 17 and I think I’m having a mid-life crisis because of my girlfriend’s mom, what do I do?

I am a 17-year-old high school senior about to graduate, and I have no clue what I’m going to do. I have never had great grades because I was never encouraged to complete my work when I was younger. Only now, during my senior year, have I felt the urge to learn and try to get better grades in my classes. At the beginning of the year, I got my first girlfriend, and my whole world has revolved around her. I want to have a future with her, but recently, her mother and father don’t seem to like me. They are Chinese, and it is common for them to want their kids to go to college. However, because I never had the best grades or even tried to get accepted into anything other than a community college, her mother doesn’t think I’ll be able to support her daughter in the future and give her the life she wants.
It’s also common that if we got married, my family would give money after the wedding to help pay for a house, and her family would reciprocate. But my family is lower income and probably won't be able to give a lot of money, so her family might not give much either, which just adds to the problem. I’ve been trying to find all the ways I can make money or career paths I can choose in college. I’ve thought of going to the National Guard to pay for medical school because I would be in major debt otherwise, or becoming a civil engineer, but I’ve never had the math grades to pursue careers like that, so I don’t even know if I’m capable of learning. I’ve thought of owning a business, investing, going to community college and working my way up to a higher degree by changing schools, and just anything to make enough money to at least buy a house in the future. But I don’t know what I’m going to do.

2024.05.19 07:42 PurplxCloud First time dieting and I'm lost with so many opinions online

Hey all, I've been hitting the gym for a few years but couldn't maintain a proper diet (stayed in hostel). But now since I'm able to, I've embarked on a cutting journey. I want to preserve my muscle as much as I can but wanna lose around 5 or 6 percent of fat. Here is my diet everyday: Breakfast: 5 eggs - scrambled, omelette, sunny side up I mix it up. No oil on pan Lunch: I have to eat outside so I usually eat 100g chicken gravy, 1 ragi ball or sometimes 1 chapati or sometimes a bowl of rice. I mix it up everyday but the chicken gravy is a constant. I have 2 bananas after this. Eve snacks before gym: 50g millet muesli(tata soulful one) Dinner: 300 to 350g chicken, no oil, just some spices, greek yogurt
Pre workout I take creatine. No other supplements
I'm just worried that my diet doesn't contain any veggies at all, or any other fruit apart from bananas. I'm no expert, just a noobie getting into this fitness world.
Should I be worried about anything, should I take any other supplements? I'm not taking veggies because I'm on a cut and all my protein comes from food. If I add veggies to this diet my calorie inatke would go up and we don't want that. Appreciate any suggestions or ideas <3

2024.05.19 07:41 FrostyYogurtcloset61 What’s the point of being vulnerable?

I’ve been going to therapy and have been working with my therapist on being more open, vulnerable and authentic. I had childhood trauma that has kept me closed off and quiet to the world.
However as an adult the more open, honest and authentic I am around family, friends and strangers the worst they treat me. I just don’t get the point anymore. It’s like adults see a wounded animal and their first instinct is to point and laugh or kick it. F*ck people are just heartless.
So for people who are vulnerable around others, what’s the point?

2024.05.19 07:39 MountainHawkTreks Everest Base Camp Trek

The Everest Base Camp (EBC) Trek is one of the most iconic trekking adventures in the world, offering breathtaking views of the Himalayas, a glimpse into the culture of the Sherpa people, and an unforgettable journey through some of the most stunning landscapes on Earth. This trek is not only about reaching the base of the world's highest mountain, Mount Everest, but also about experiencing the unique beauty and challenges of the Khumbu region.

The Nature

The trek to Everest Base Camp takes you through a diverse range of landscapes, from lush green forests to barren, rocky terrains. One of the natural highlights is Sagarmatha National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which is home to a variety of flora and fauna, including the elusive snow leopard and the Himalayan tahr. The park is rich in biodiversity and offers stunning views of snow-capped peaks. The Dudh Koshi River, known for its milky white waters that flow down from the glaciers, is another natural marvel encountered early in the trek.
As you ascend, you will reach Tengboche Monastery, situated at 3,867 meters and surrounded by panoramic views of the Himalayas, including Everest, Ama Dablam, and Thamserku. The area around the monastery is filled with rhododendron forests that bloom in spring, adding a splash of color to the landscape. Another highlight is Kala Patthar, a popular viewpoint at 5,545 meters, providing one of the most accessible close-up views of Mount Everest, along with other peaks like Nuptse and Changtse.

Villages of Khumbu

The Khumbu region is home to the Sherpa community, known for their mountaineering skills and warm hospitality. The trek begins in Lukla, the starting point famous for its small but busy airport, often considered one of the most challenging in the world. Namche Bazaar, the unofficial capital of the Khumbu region, is a bustling market town located at 3,440 meters. It serves as an acclimatization stop with various amenities, including cafes, shops, and internet facilities.
Phakding, situated along the Dudh Koshi River, is often the first stop after Lukla, providing a gentle introduction to the trek with its lower elevation and serene environment. As you progress, Dingboche and Pheriche become important acclimatization points, offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. These villages are also centers for altitude sickness prevention and treatment. Gorak Shep, the last stop before reaching Everest Base Camp, sits at 5,164 meters and serves as the launching point for hikes to EBC and Kala Patthar.

Mount Everest

Reaching Everest Base Camp, at 5,364 meters, is the culmination of the trek. Here, trekkers get a close-up view of the Khumbu Icefall and the base camp used by climbers attempting to summit Everest. The sense of achievement upon reaching this point is immense, knowing that you are standing at the foot of the world's highest peak.

Difficulties

The trek to Everest Base Camp is challenging and requires good physical fitness, preparation, and mental determination. One of the primary difficulties is the risk of altitude sickness, or Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS), which increases as you ascend. Proper acclimatization is essential, and trekkers should be aware of symptoms such as headaches, nausea, and dizziness.
Weather conditions in the Himalayas can be unpredictable, with sudden changes that can include snow, rain, and cold temperatures, especially at higher altitudes. The physical strain of the trek involves long hours of walking, often on steep and rocky terrain, requiring trekkers to be in good physical condition. As you go higher, the availability of amenities like comfortable lodging, diverse food options, and communication facilities decreases. Basic teahouses provide essential services, but conditions can be rustic.
Organizing the trek involves obtaining necessary permits such as the Sagarmatha National Park Permit and the TIMS (Trekkers' Information Management System) card. Ensuring you have all required documentation is crucial for a smooth journey.

Conclusion

The Everest Base Camp Trek is a once-in-a-lifetime adventure that combines the thrill of trekking in the Himalayas with the cultural richness of the Khumbu region. While the journey is demanding, the rewards are unparalleled, offering an intimate encounter with the natural beauty of Nepal and the majestic presence of Mount Everest. Proper preparation and a spirit of adventure are key to successfully completing this incredible trek.

2024.05.19 07:38 FoxLumpy472 Who were these nba players 10-20 years ago?

Had a random thought watching the playoffs; who were these players equivalents around 2010? Between play style and where they are in their career arc. They obviously aren’t one for ones especially since talent has increased so much in recent years so no need to nitpick, but if you think there are better comps, let me know. Here’s what I have
Mike Conley- ‘10 Derek Fishe‘15-‘16 Tony Parker.
Older PG in the twilight of his career that is still VERY competent and a engine and mature, emotional leader for his contender.
Jaden McDaniels- Kawhi circa 13/14
In terms of his role, he is also very reminiscent of Lakers Artest, although Jaden is on the opposite end of his career. For this reason, I think 2013-14 Kawhi is more fitting. Post 2015 is a whole different discussion and I doubt JM will peak like Kawhi but this is def not close to his ceiling offensively. If MIN made the Finals, a FMVP is more of a long shot given that ANT is ascending unlike any of that spurs core, but Kawhis FMVP was also a long shot as well.
Anthony Edwards- ‘06 Wade
This seems obvious. I would not bet on it per say, but a Wade-ish finals run is definitely in the cards. A little 13-14 Pacers Paul George vibes too.
Jayson Tatum- ‘12-‘15 Kevin Durant
Giant SF, scoring Virtuoso who is on a perennial contender that just hasn’t got it done yet. Also 1 Finals appearance.
Kawhi Leonard- ‘11 Kobe Bryant
The playstyles are obvious. Kobe was just coming off a title. Kawhi is more far removed from his last championship and Kobe was more available. But post championship you can see the wear and tear for both. I get the feeling this is going to go from sad to tragic for him. Kobe was also eliminated by a hot mavericks team in 2011.
Nikola Jokic- ‘12 Dirk
There are a couple better playstyle comps like prime Arvydas (who was one of the best players in the world apparently), but Dirk feels pretty close. The touch, the size. Plus he’s European and coming off the first title. Dirks path was more epic and he was a bit older, but both are defending the belt regardless.
Jalen Williams- ‘11-‘12 Harden
Again, Hardens counting stats are not quite as flashy because of the era and his role being smaller, but he closed games and was the clear 3rd option on that team. Also in his first couple seasons and already on a young contender. He’ll be in OKC longer, but I could totally see JDUB being a 2nd team all-nba guy a couple years down the line.
Klay Thompson- ‘13 Ray Allen
If this went how I think it should, Klay will go somewhere where he can help a contender as a pure spot up shooter and smart team defender.
Josh Hart- ‘14 Draymond Green
Chris Paul- Best case scenario, could he be a 2011 Jason Kidd?
Luguentz Dort- 08-09 Tony Allen. He’s going to be a perennial all defense type
Aaron Gordon- Mid 00’s Tayshaun/‘11 Shawn Marion
Tyrese Haliburton- Pre MVP Nash
Jalen Brunson- ‘07-‘10 Deron Williams
This one I actually feel the most passionate about……
Kyle Anderson- Spurs Boris Diaw
Super creative passing forwards. Serviceable defenders in their early 30s
What are your comps?

Hello! I’m a 26M and I’m currently a Research Director for a local television station in California making $45K annually. I majored in Political Science in university thinking that I would make it in the politics and policy world. Come to find out that I hated the bias of it all. I’ve been working in my position for around 1 and a half years and my basic duties are audience measurement and market research so I’m always in Excel. However in making myself more valuable, I wanted to see if a combination of my experience and a professional certificate would help. My colleagues across the US make around $75K+. Incorporating the Youngfly Mini Car Clock into my daily life has been nothing short of a breeze. The auto car truck dashboard time self-adhesive bracket's sleek design and exquisite craftsmanship make for a perfect fit on my vehicle's dashboard.
Navigating through the various settings is a breeze; the bottom button for month and day, and the top button for hours and minutes. Once the desired time is set, pressing the top button once returns to normal time.
This electronic digital clock stands out with its automotive-grade specifications, featuring a PVC material and a 1Pc x AG10 button cell battery that comes included. Despite the minor difference in color and dimension due to varying light and screen settings, this car clock is a durable and reliable addition to any vehicle's interior.
The mini car clock comes packaged safely, ready to be installed effortlessly on your dashboard, thanks to the included double-sided adhesive product. Overall, the Youngfly Mini Car Clock has proven to be a worthy investment in convenience and style.

🔗Solar-Powered Car Clock with Adjustable Brightness

https://preview.redd.it/ifu9soahlb1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=848cfc520754fe91c81b2ed7c65d8e59b10b69fe
As someone who's used the Novinex Car Clock daily, I've discovered its amazing solar-powered design. Not only does it come with a rechargeable battery, but it also has a solar panel and high temperature resistant battery power supply that functions without any wiring. The practicality of the clock shines with its vibration sensor, which automatically turns it on when any vibrations are detected in the car.
The heat resistance factor truly comes into play the moment you stick this digital clock onto your car's dashboard. It's made of high-temperature resistant material, perfect for the internal environment of a car without any worries of exposure during hot summer days.
The Novinex Car Clock takes pride in its brightness adjustment feature - a high temperature LED digital tube display. It allows the screen to be visible both in daytime and in the nighttime. It even adjusts itself automatically to provide the right brightness for the time of day.
The shading hood design on the clock is a fantastic feature to make the car clock viewable even under strong sunlight. If I were to list a con, it might be the price of this clock; however, the advanced features, practical usability, and sleek design seem to justify its cost.

🔗Multifunctional Waterproof Car Clock with LED Display

https://preview.redd.it/a9tiwqqhlb1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7ab3557691873d347c1b08423e3063e09b471c10
I've been using this nifty Car Clock Dashboard Multi-functional Vehicle Electronic Clock for a while now, and let me tell you, it's a game-changer! The waterproof and dustproof design makes it perfect for my messy car, ensuring it can withstand any spills or messes.
One of the standout features is the one-button operation, which is incredibly practical and user-friendly. You can easily switch between time division, second mode, date mode, and timer mode with just a single button press. The LED digital display is also a great addition, making it easy to read in any lighting condition.
However, there's one minor drawback: the wide supply voltage range can be quite overwhelming for some users. But overall, this Car Clock Dashboard Multi-functional Vehicle Electronic Clock is an excellent addition to any car, providing both functionality and durability.

🔗1940 Chevy Car Analog Clock with Blue Display

https://preview.redd.it/wfei8e0ilb1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c60068139bbf8e718cc09207a09094fcbb6d2622
The Dakota Digital '40 Ford Car Clock is a stylish addition to any dashboard, boasting a sleek silver alloy style face and a vibrant red display. I found the product to be an easy installation, simply plugging into one of the CAT-5 network jacks on the VHX controller. However, it's worth mentioning that the clock needs to be synchronized with the VHX system, so it becomes a standalone clock option.
The clock's LED backlighting and lighted needles match the VHX instrument system, giving it a cohesive look within the car. One of my favorite features was its separate constant power input harness that allows the clock to continue running even when the key is off. However, the clock does require this harness to function, which can be a minor inconvenience for some.
Overall, the Dakota Digital '40 Ford Car Clock is a visually appealing and functional addition to any dashboard, though the requirement for a separate constant power input harness is worth considering.

🔗Car Analog Clock with Blue Display

https://preview.redd.it/w034bmbilb1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4d0ec9f11dab5b4d14e9855321d952c4e7e25c2f
As a car enthusiast, I couldn't resist giving the Dakota Digital 1957 Chevrolet Car Silver Analog Clock a try. The moment I saw its silver alloy style face with white display, I knew it would be a great addition to my classic Chevy. The clock's LED backlighting and lighted needles perfectly matched the vintage look of my dashboard.
While using it, I discovered that it only works alongside a VHX system and can't be used as a stand alone clock. This limitation was a bit of a downer, but the clock's ability to display the current time while I'm driving made up for it. The time is set through the VHX system, and it quickly syncs with the built-in clock upon initial power-up.
Considering its compatibility and unique design, I think this clock would be a great addition to any classic car enthusiast's collection. Just remember to connect the constant power input harness for the clock to continue running while the key is off. Overall, I'm happy with my experience, and the clock has added a touch of nostalgia to my daily drive.

🔗1955-56 Chevy Car Analog Clock: Vintage Style for Your Vehicle

I recently had the chance to use the Dakota Digital 1957 Chevy Car Analog Clock, and I must say, it's a unique and eye-catching addition to any car. This clock's black alloy style face and white display give it a classic yet modern twist.
One feature that stood out to me was its LED backlighting and lighted needles, which perfectly match the VHX instrument system. It's the perfect complement to my VHX gauge kit and adds a touch of sophistication to my car's interior.
However, there were a few drawbacks. Firstly, the clock will only work alongside a VHX system and requires plugging into one of the network jacks on the VHX controller. Additionally, it cannot be used as a standalone clock and relies on the VHX system for time syncing.
Overall, the 1957 Chevy Car Analog Clock from Dakota Digital is a stylish and functional addition to any car. Its sleek design and VHX compatibility make it a worthwhile investment for car enthusiasts.

🔗Classic Racing Car Analog Clock

https://preview.redd.it/4ykgvc2jlb1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2396efa92f25652b80af53f64bd30d4110c6ab1a
Imagine cruising down the road in your '58 Chevy Impala, the radio playing your favorite tunes, when all of a sudden, you glance over at your dashboard to check the time. That's when the Dakota Digital 1958 Chevrolet Impala Silver Analog Clock with Blue Display comes into play. This sleek, silver alloy style clock isn't just a stylish addition to your car, but it also complements your VHX gauge kit perfectly.
One of the most striking features of this clock is its traditional analog style clock face, which gives it a classic touch that seamlessly blends with your car's interior. The LED backlighting and lighted needles provide an impressive contrast against the blue display, making it easier to read the time even in low-light conditions.
However, there's a catch. This clock will only work alongside a VHX system. It's not a standalone clock. But once connected, it's a piece of art that blends perfectly with your dashboard, providing not just a clock, but a statement.
Remember, this is more than just a clock. It's a testament to the innovative spirit of the Dakota Digital VHX Series. It's a piece of machinery that has revolutionized the instrumentation industry. And yes, the time does change whenever you switch on the ignition, but hey, that's part of the charm.
In a world where technology often dominates, this clock serves as a gentle reminder of the beauty in traditional design, all while keeping you on track with time.

🔗1957 Chevy Car Vintage Digital Clock

https://preview.redd.it/x82twdijlb1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=af19d9fcffd976ac63b5ab2099474696e6e52be5
During a recent road trip, I came across this sleek 1957 Chevy Car Digital Clock in a local antique store. The black alloy style face and white display perfectly complemented the vintage vibe of my car. This retro timepiece not only added a touch of nostalgia to my vehicle, but it also served as a reliable way to keep track of time while on the go.
One of the standout features of this clock is its readability, even in direct sunlight. The white numbers against the black background make it easy to see at a glance. Additionally, the chrome bezel adds a touch of luxury and sophistication.
Despite these positives, there were a few areas where this digital clock could use some improvements. For instance, I noticed that the clock sometimes took a moment to adjust to a quick lane change. Additionally, the gray face seemed to blend in with the car's interior, making it a bit harder to spot from a distance.
Overall, this 1957 Chevy Car Digital Clock is a great addition to any vintage car enthusiast's collection. It offers both style and functionality, making it a valuable investment for those looking to add a touch of old-school charm to their ride.

🔗Vintage Chevy Car Analog Clock - 1951-52 Style

https://preview.redd.it/u7ya0pwjlb1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2e00ef9999e9c7ef01865f2007ed7b9b19218337
I stumbled upon this 1951-52 Chevy car clock with a sleek alloy style face, and boy, does it add a touch of nostalgia to my ride! . The white display is super clean, making it easy for me to tell the time in any situation. The clock even has a neon-colored backlight that illuminates the numbers beautifully.
But, the installation process was a bit of a challenge, taking me a few hours longer than expected. And although the build time for this clock is just around a week, it's not the fastest turnaround on the market. Overall, I'm happy with my decision to add this stylish car clock to my Chevy, and it's definitely a conversation starter! .

The large, easy-to-read numbers made it perfect for keeping an eye on the time and date while driving. But what really stood out was the durable adhesive on the back of the holder.
It stuck firmly to my dashboard, and I could still easily adjust the clock without removing it. This little clock was not only convenient, but it also added a stylish touch to my car's interior.
Overall, the KANBIT dashboard clock was a great addition to my daily life, enhancing both the function and appearance of my vehicle.

2024.05.19 07:36 Rubinthepig Which stands could physically destroy Sheer Heart Attack?

Some ground rules:
Of course, some stands like Echoes Act 3 can stop Sheer Heart Attack, but which stands can really destroy it through sheer force? Abilities I won't count would be like:
Erasure, Turning into a bomb, Folding it into paper, and stuff like that just because that might be a little to easy. (Also no pulling it apart from its mouth!)
Abilities that are allowed are: bombing it, punching it, stopping time to punch it even more, prying it apart, burning it, and using pure destructive power to break it.
Let's also give it a time limit of around 1 minute as even Star Platinum: The World might be able to destroy it given enough time and persistence.
I feel like I'm obliged to go first, so I'll name a stand.
Hierophant Green, Kakyoin's Stand
Hierophant green has a physically weak stand, but it's ability might allow it to destroy Sheer Heart Attack. Hierophant can unravel his body and travel inside SHA and unleash his emerald splash from the insides, which might be able to destroy Sheer Heart Attack in my opinion.

~ I'm looking for a longterm writing partner, not a "quick scene".
~ My time zone is EST but I'm happy to write with anyone of any time zone.
~ I write in third person past tense.
~ I usually write four paragraphs minimum per reply but can easily go beyond that to breaking the Discord character limit.
~ I write as female main characters but I am happy to play various other side characters to help shape the world.
~ If you're interested in writing samples from me please see the pinned posts on my profile.
~ Writes as a male character and can also take on various side characters.
~ Writes in third person past tense.
~ Can give at least three paragraphs per reply.
~ Helps shape the plot by bringing ideas and suggestions.
~ Has time to respond to the roleplay at least every couple of days.
~ Has knowledge of the fandoms and characters they're picking.
~ ~ ~
~ I'm looking for writing partners that want to play the male role in any of the pairings listed below. I'd like there to be romance but I prefer slow burn as we build the world and plot around the characters. Slice of life type of events are nice but I'd also like action and adventure, for the characters to face challenges and adversaries together. Mixing in angst and drama, anything along the lines of hurt/comfort, is always fun too.
~ Usually I'd like whatever plot we decide to play out to be canon divergent, different than the actual storyline and something of our own design, while still keeping the structure of the world and keeping any canon characters present true to who they are.
~ In some cases I have pre written intro posts that follow a loose plot that we can further shape to our needs, if you're interested in those ask! (I do not have these for every listed pairing.)
~ I'm open to AUs so bring those ideas if you have them!

2024.05.19 07:35 Ok_Service9523 1 Year Of Eden

this wonderful album officially turns 1 year old today, just been reminiscing on some memories from when we neared the official release.
the 3 month wait for this album was horrendous, but it was all worth it once we got to the very night it dropped. from my own personal experience, the excitement i had for this album was geniunely unlike anything i'd ever felt for a music release in my life. they made this thing feel like the biggest thing in the world, with so much hype, and such high expectations, and it was all justified once we got there. i could literally go on about my feelings about the actual album itself, there's too many good things to say about it, but to keep it as short as possible: i think it's the best and most complete album this band has ever dropped, and euclid is one of the best happy ending songs i've probably ever heard.
this is a special album, as i'm sure it is for many of you. definitely a special time for this band especially and for anyone that is a fan. i just wanted to leave this space open for yall to share your own memories with this album, and how we're all feeling about it 1 year after it's release.
also, what are you guys's predictions for the future? new sounds, new aesthetics, new themes, potential release for the next album, anything!!! i had my own thoughts on what this "new era" could possibly look like, but with all the stuff i've been seeing, the posters and the reoccurring theme of the color red......kinda got me second guessing some things. geniunely curious to see what yall think.
love this band. happy to see their success. dope to see how welcoming this community is!!! happy i get to share my excitement with some folks :)
