2024.06.02 09:41 ECEML-849 No real interests, no hobbies, no friends, no real things I want to develop; how do I break out of this cycle? What do I do?

I am mostly using this as a sounding board for any potential solutions.
A bit of background: On paper I'm pretty successful - I am 22, I'm a software developer in metro Dallas and $130K/year and I work from home 4/5 days of the week. State flagship graduate - CompSci and Econ major. Normal height and weight; normal appearance. Never really friends in middle school or high school - I was socially awkard; in college, no real friends as well, just study partners that I never engaged deeply with. Spent evenings and weekends in high school and college reading oodles of Wikipedia. Never really developed hobbies of any sort but did end up learning a substantial amount of econ, polisci, and finance.
I notice about me when I am chatting with my coworkers is that I have no "normal" interests - sports, dating, movies, TV shows, music, guns, etc "touching grass" - none of that interests me and I've never done it (ex: go to a live music festival, go to the movies, watch weekend football, etc).
The only hobby-ish thing I have do now is reading econ/polisci/law papers - but it's a highly niche interest - none of my coworkers really do care about learning about the capital structure of a private equity firm or life insurer balance sheets or research on optimal size of municipalities or statistical methods for causal inference even if I can ramble about it for hours; it's not even that I enjoy reading the econ/polisci/law stuff - it's that I feel like I have nothing better to do - on the weekends, I'll log into my laptop; say I'll do leetcode or professional development (to improve my salary), and then do nothing but read wikipedia, a handful of econ/polisci papers, and browse news before its 2AM (not really generating any satisfaction - feel like I'm just burning time). It is also incredibly lonely since I don't really have anyone to talk to, no real friends, and relatedly, no real interests. And obviously: it's very hard if not impossible to find people to talk about the things I am interested in IRL. I know I'm in a comfortable spot but honestly, my hobby-less situation with no "outside" interests and no real friends is really weighing on me, I'm incredibly lonely and isolating; I've been in this metro area for 1 year and the only people I'm on a first name basis with are my coworkers. especially since there's a clock where if I wait longer, I won't be able to make friends since everyone in my birth cohort will be with children, spouses, and careers; what should I do to find something that interests me and so that I am able to make friends and have normal hobbies?"

2024.06.02 09:40 V4nillacoke1 19F should I pack up everything and move?

Everything has been overwhelming me right now. I am so lonely. I’ve lived in austin since I was born. I live alone and my lease is up in November. I make about 3k-3.5k right now and I have a lead position at the healthcare job I have. I’m able to transfer hospitals anywhere in the United States with the same company and hopefully keep my title.
It won’t fix everything but I need a fresh start and I’m in Washington on vacation just thinking how different and liberating a new city would be..
Have any of y’all ever done this? I’d love to hear thoughts and opinions. I would literally move into a tiny studio, bring my dog and keep my life as simple as possible

2024.06.02 09:35 koiashes I got denied alcohol in the United States due to my Puerto Rican I.D.

I moved to California from Puerto Rico. I am 26.
I have had some trouble with my id due to ignorance but usually after I tell them it’s a US territory, a federally issued id, they let it go.
Today I was told due to their “policy” they can’t accept a PR id. I assured them it was a valid US id. They asked for a passport but I don’t have one (I don’t need one). I work in California and I paid my US taxes… they said no. It was embarrassing for me and I felt so discriminated against. I asked why, they said it even if other places accept them, they could lose their liquor license if they accept my valid Puerto Rican license.
I checked the guidelines for valid ids in California for alcohol and mine falls under valid ids…
Any recourse in this?

MLB Game Prediction: Pittsburgh Pirates vs. Toronto Blue Jays (June 2, 2024)

Introduction

Ladies and gentlemen, baseball aficionados, and those who just stumbled upon this article while looking for cat videos, welcome to the ultimate showdown analysis between the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Toronto Blue Jays. Scheduled for June 2, 2024, at 1:37 PM ET, this game promises to be a thrilling encounter. But who will emerge victorious? Let's dive into the nitty-gritty details, statistics, and odds to make an informed prediction. Spoiler alert: I will make a concrete prediction, so hold onto your hats!

Team Overview

Pittsburgh Pirates

The Pittsburgh Pirates, often referred to as the "Buccos," have had a rollercoaster of a season. With a mix of young talent and seasoned veterans, the Pirates have shown flashes of brilliance but have struggled with consistency. Their current record stands at a respectable 28-25, placing them in the middle of the pack in the National League Central.

Key Players

  1. Bryan Reynolds: The outfielder has been a beacon of hope for the Pirates, boasting a batting average of .310 with 12 home runs and 35 RBIs. His ability to get on base and drive in runs makes him a crucial player for the Pirates.
  2. Ke'Bryan Hayes: The third baseman has been solid defensively and has contributed with a .275 batting average, 8 home runs, and 28 RBIs.
  3. Mitch Keller: The right-handed pitcher has been the ace of the Pirates' rotation, with a 3.45 ERA and 75 strikeouts in 70 innings pitched.

Toronto Blue Jays

The Toronto Blue Jays, on the other hand, have been flying high this season. With a record of 32-21, they are currently second in the American League East, trailing only the New York Yankees. The Blue Jays have a potent lineup and a solid pitching staff, making them a formidable opponent.

Key Players

  1. Vladimir Guerrero Jr.: The first baseman is having an MVP-caliber season, with a .330 batting average, 18 home runs, and 50 RBIs. His power and ability to hit for average make him a nightmare for opposing pitchers.
  2. Bo Bichette: The shortstop has been a consistent performer, with a .290 batting average, 10 home runs, and 40 RBIs. His speed and defensive prowess add to his value.
  3. Alek Manoah: The right-handed pitcher has been dominant, with a 2.85 ERA and 80 strikeouts in 75 innings pitched. His ability to shut down opposing lineups has been a key factor in the Blue Jays' success.

Head-to-Head Comparison

Offense

When it comes to offense, the Blue Jays have the upper hand. They rank third in the league in runs scored, averaging 5.2 runs per game. The Pirates, meanwhile, rank 18th, averaging 4.1 runs per game. The Blue Jays' lineup is stacked with power hitters and players who can get on base, making them a formidable offensive unit.

Defense

Defensively, the Blue Jays also have the edge. They rank fifth in the league in fielding percentage, while the Pirates rank 15th. The Blue Jays' infield, anchored by Bichette and Guerrero Jr., is particularly strong, and their outfielders have been reliable as well.

Pitching

Pitching is where the Blue Jays truly shine. Their team ERA of 3.45 ranks fourth in the league, while the Pirates' team ERA of 4.20 ranks 20th. The Blue Jays' rotation, led by Manoah, has been consistent, and their bullpen has been reliable. The Pirates, on the other hand, have struggled with consistency in their pitching staff.

Odds and Betting Analysis

According to the latest odds from FanDuel and DraftKings, the Toronto Blue Jays are favored to win this game. FanDuel has the Blue Jays at 1.66, while DraftKings has them at 1.59. The Pirates are the underdogs, with odds of 2.28 on FanDuel and 2.42 on DraftKings.

What Do the Odds Tell Us?

The odds clearly indicate that the Blue Jays are the favorites. A lower number means a higher probability of winning, and both sportsbooks agree that the Blue Jays have a significant edge. This is not surprising given their superior record, stronger lineup, and better pitching staff.

Weather Conditions

The weather forecast for June 2, 2024, in Toronto is partly cloudy with a high of 75°F (24°C) and a low of 60°F (16°C). There is a slight chance of rain, but it is expected to clear up by game time. The wind will be blowing out to right field at 10 mph, which could favor power hitters, particularly those who can pull the ball to right field.

Prediction

Drumroll, please! After analyzing the teams, key players, head-to-head comparisons, odds, and weather conditions, it is time to make a prediction.

Why the Blue Jays Will Win

  1. Superior Offense: The Blue Jays have a more potent lineup, with power hitters like Guerrero Jr. and Bichette leading the charge. They have consistently scored more runs than the Pirates, and with the wind blowing out to right field, their power hitters could have a field day.
  2. Better Pitching: The Blue Jays' pitching staff, led by Manoah, has been more consistent and effective than the Pirates'. With a lower team ERA and more strikeouts, the Blue Jays' pitchers are better equipped to shut down the Pirates' lineup.
  3. Home Field Advantage: Playing at home in the Rogers Centre gives the Blue Jays an added advantage. They have a strong home record and are familiar with the nuances of their ballpark.

Final Score Prediction

I predict that the Toronto Blue Jays will win this game with a final score of 6-3. The Blue Jays' offense will be too much for the Pirates to handle, and their pitching staff will keep the Pirates' hitters in check.

Conclusion

There you have it, folks! The Toronto Blue Jays are poised to come out on top in their matchup against the Pittsburgh Pirates on June 2, 2024. With a stronger lineup, better pitching, and the odds in their favor, the Blue Jays are the clear favorites. So, grab your popcorn, sit back, and enjoy the game. And remember, if the Pirates somehow pull off an upset, you can always blame it on the unpredictability of baseball!

2024.06.02 09:32 TheInfernion Day 1 - My first tournament recap

I have updated my previous post but I figured I'd throw in a day 1 overview with just some general thoughts as well as battle recaps.
Just generally, tournaments are tiring! I forgot to sit down any if the games and when I'd made it home I didn't realise how much standing up for that long and focusing that much can take it out of you, though in fairness the whole up until 2am the previous day basing stuff probably didn't help.
Everyone was lovely, I didn't have a game where my opponent was funny about anything or tried to pressure me into stuff, or any of the tournament horror stories I've heard, and the event staff themselves and TOs were great. As a team we very much went in with expectation to lose every round in total, and each individual player to get a few wins here and there given the calibre of player and competitiveness at this event, but so far we are sitting pretty middle of the pack at 2 wins to 1 loss, which is always nice.
I'm currently sat waiting for my train to head over for day 2 and will give a write up of that afterwards, but all in all it's been good fun, I've enjoyed playing the army, and honestly? We aren't top tier by any stretch, we get bodied by a fair few S tier lists, but personally I've found us to be good fun and put up a fight if you aren't expected to try for a 5-0 or anything crazy, you can go be a statistic on a GW sheet to let them know we need a buff, and still have fun.
Game 1 - Admech Vs Guard - 86 / 79 (11 / 9)
Game one was fun! Guard player had two demolisher cannons which spiked on shots and along with a blob of 10 rough riders knocked out my knight be the end of the turn 1 fight phase. The terrain was very much in my favour though, each batch of tables had a few set up with GW terrain and a few with WTC, with a roll off between teams to pick The movement he had to do to get my knight effectively locked his tanks between ruins and stopped them coming too far up the board the rest of the game. In the end I was just better at scoring, I had more mobile units, and I just sneaked the win. Very happy about that one given the way it started.
Game 2 - Admech Vs Grey Knights - 56 / 87 (4 / 16)
Also a fun game but my word was it a struggle, this was not a good matchup for me and the player on the other end of the table was good. Turns out 8d6 flamer shots on the table really burn through skitarii, so do tiny units that jump all over the shop with 15 nasty melee attacks and 20 stormbolter shots. The dreadnights made short work of my lancer and by the last turn I had so little on the board. Scraped a few points for my team by scoring well on the secondaries and coming primary best I good. All in all a struggle, but forced me to try and sneak points where I could grab them which was a good exercise in learning the army.
Game 3 - Admech Vs Drukhari - 100 / 60 (17 / 3)
So turns out admech can quite handily deal with dark Eldar, or at least my admech can quite handily deal with this dark Eldar. There's alot of transports and firing decks but I found if I can get them to pop out that transport sure they'll get a unit of skitarii, but I'll mop up anything that comes out afterwards, and I'm definitely winning that trade. The big knight did a funny and ran across the board as GW terrain has alot of less than 4 inch high terrain, stood on the middle, and didn't die until then 4. Didn't kill alot, but was for sure a deterrent. The big surprise was not getting destroyed on the special kill something for 4 pts or kill more for 8 pts mission rule. Going second I got to decide to target just enough stuff to even out or beat my opponent and they never scored the full 8, and I even killed more on a few occasions. Was fun to get the chance to play against the magnificent model that is the tantalus. All in all very happy with the result of this game.

2024.06.02 09:24 MontBloncFire I am a 31 year old male and make $12,000 a year living with my parents in the United States. What is your advice on improving my money situation?

I have lived with my hoarding parents my entire life and never moved out to save on rent. I am completely dependent on them.
I currently make around $12,000 a year. No college degree. I cannot drive a car and my dad (who is retired) drives me places, including work or the grocery store. He also cooks, cleans, and does the family laundry. As a family, the house is very messy. The couches are filled with stuff. The dining room table is filled with stuff. Everything is so chaotic and messy. I end up sleeping a lot.
I have never been in a romantic relationship or been kissed by a woman. No friends. My parents and my job are my only social outlet. My employment history is uneven and I currently work part time making $10 an hour.
I try to live a simple life. I never eat out, never go on vacations, or buy useless things. I didn't even have a cell phone until I was 28 years old. I eat mainly plant-based, beans, lentils, and rice. I feel like a failure to launch though. I really want to improve but everything is stacked against me. I feel unhappy because I have no purpose besides trying to survive in a hoarding home and hoarding money myself. I feel so depressed. What woman would want to be with a man who makes only $12,000 a year?
What is your advice?

Over the past few weeks, I've been using the Wayne Water Systems WSB1275 battery in my basement sump pump. This maintenance-free, sealed lead-acid battery pack has made my life easier and more worry-free, thanks to its 75Ah capacity and 12V voltage. With its handles making it easy to move around, I am now free from the hassle of constantly monitoring and maintaining the battery levels.
One of the most impressive features of this battery is the consistent power supply it provides, ensuring that my backup sump pump remains ready to kick in at a moment's notice. This reliable performance has given me peace of mind, especially during the recent storms that have brought about power outages in my area. The battery also charges quickly, so I'm always prepared for any situation.
However, there is one drawback I've encountered. While the battery works reliably, the instructions provided for installation are quite complicated and could have been simplified. Additionally, I did notice that the battery's capacity can sometimes be slightly less than advertised, which might require an adjustment in your expectations.
In summary, the Wayne Water Systems WSB1275 battery offers a top-quality, reliable solution for my basement sump pump needs. With its impressive charging capabilities and consistent power supply, I highly recommend this product for anyone looking for a reliable and easy-to-use battery pack for their sump pump system.

I recently tried the Thunderbolt Magnum 12V 160 CCA AGM Battery, and I must say, it has some impressive features. What stood out to me is the rugged design and the versatile top-mounted terminals that make it a suitable choice for various generators, including those made by Predator.
While using this battery, I found it to be quite efficient in providing constant voltage input, which is crucial for an electric start generator. It successfully powered both my generator and an ATV without any issues. The battery's compact size made it convenient to install and mount on the generator.
However, one downside I encountered was the reversed polarity terminals. It took me a bit of time to figure out the issue during installation. Additionally, some customers mentioned facing difficulty in finding replacements for this battery, as most other units do not fit the same specifications.
Overall, the Thunderbolt Magnum 12V 160 CCA AGM Battery has proven to be a reliable and functional option for powering electric start generators. But be aware of the possible reversed polarity terminals and the difficulty in finding compatible replacements.

Imagine a situation where you're stuck on the side of the road, and your car isn't starting. You pull out a small device, no bigger than a pencil box, and within minutes, your car roars to life. That's the magic of a portable jump starter.
The Mighty Max Battery 12V 22Ah is a versatile device that serves as a replacement for your Die Hard Portable Jump Starter. It's a maintenance-free 12V 22AH Sealed Lead Acid battery, known for its spill-proof nature and high discharge rate. This battery is designed to handle a wide range of temperatures, making it suitable for use in both high and low temperatures.
One of the most impressive things about this battery is its ability to resist shocks and vibration. It can be mounted in any position, making it a convenient option for those who are always on the move. And let's not forget the bonus of having a long service life and the ability to recover from deep discharge situations, which is particularly useful in emergency situations.
Now, let's talk about my personal experience with the Mighty Max Battery. I've used it to jump-start my car during a surprise power outage, and it worked like a charm. It's compact, which made it easy to store in my glove compartment, and it fits perfectly into the port on my Die Hard jump starter.
However, there were a few drawbacks. The product doesn't come with a wire harness or mounting accessories, which means you'll have to purchase those separately if you don't already have them. Additionally, the battery's weight might be a concern for some, but for me, it wasn't a deal-breaker.
Overall, the Mighty Max Battery 12V 22Ah is a powerful and reliable option for anyone in need of a portable jump starter. It's easy to use, long-lasting, and has a compact design that makes it a convenient option for those always on the go. Despite the minor inconvenience of not having all necessary accessories included, the Mighty Max Battery more than makes up for it with its performance and durability.

In my quest for a reliable battery, I stumbled upon the Mighty Max Battery ML9-12NB. At first glance, the size may seem smaller than expected, but don't let that hold you back. This little guy is a force to be reckoned with!
Powered by a 12V 9AH Sealed Lead Acid (SLA) rechargeable maintenance-free battery, it effortlessly outperforms its counterparts in various conditions. UL certified and ready to take on any position, it resists shocks and vibrations with ease while maintaining its long-lasting high performance.
The best part? It's spill-proof and boasts a high discharge rate, wide operating temperatures, and an extended service life. And the deep discharge recover? A true game-changer when it comes to battery efficiency.
Despite its small stature, the ML9-12NB holds its own in the big leagues, proving that good things often come in unexpected packages.

I've been using the Schumacher DSR ProSeries Jump Starter in my daily life for a few months now, and I must say it's been quite the reliable companion. When I needed to jumpstart my car the other day, it took me just a few minutes to get everything connected and running smoothly. The 525 cranking amps and 350 cold cranking amps really make a difference in those crucial moments.
One thing that really stood out to me was the easy-to-read digital display and ON/OFF switch. They made it easy for me to keep track of the battery life and to ensure I wasn't draining it unnecessarily. However, I did notice that the 60-inch cable length wasn't quite long enough to reach my car when it was parked in the driveway, so I had to make a few adjustments.
I particularly appreciate Schumacher's safety features like the reverse hook-up safeguard alarm, which makes sure that the clamps are connected to the battery correctly. Having this safety feature has given me peace of mind when jumpstarting my car or helping friends in need.
This jump starter is well-built and seems to be quite durable. It's a little bit heavy to carry around, but it's certainly sturdy enough to handle the job. The 2.1-amp USB port and 12V DC outlet added bonus features that I've come to appreciate during my camping trips and other outdoor activities.
In conclusion, I highly recommend the Schumacher DSR ProSeries Jump Starter. It has proven to be an invaluable addition to my daily life, and I know I can always count on it when I need to get my car back up and running.

🔗Long-lasting AGM Voyager Battery for Enhanced Deep Cycle Performance

The ACDelco Professional AGM Voyager battery has been a game-changer in my daily life. With its maintenance-free Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) technology, I no longer have to worry about water spills or leaks. The deep cycle performance has been outstanding, and the leak-proof pressurized valve system ensures safety and longevity.
However, there's one minor downside: the battery warning in California can be concerning. Overall, this premium aftermarket battery has exceeded my expectations in terms of fit, form, and functionality.

🔗High Output 12V AGM Car Battery for Superior Audio Performance

https://preview.redd.it/wzs44wasz34d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6c201cf62983d9f8ae3dde1a86bed9230003a7c0
I've always been a fan of the XS Power D3400 12V AGM Battery. It's been my go-to power source for my car's audio system. I could definitely feel the difference in the quality once I switched to this battery. The absorption glass mat technology really works wonders!
One of the best things about this battery is its high output. With a max of 3,300 amps, it really powers my speakers. The M6 terminal hardware which comes alongside also adds to the convenience. The battery is classified for OE fit and runs on a wide range of watts, making it versatile for different audio setups.
However, the packaging of the battery wasn't as satisfactory. The battery box came damaged and there were instances where the label peeled off. As far as the terminal hardware, it seems some customers found it missing from their package.
Despite those minor issues, I'm still impressed with this battery's performance. It's durable, reliable, and has definitely elevated the audio quality of my ride. Overall, I would say it's a great power source for any serious audio setup.

🔗Maintenance-Free Powersport AGM Battery for ATV, Motorcycle, and Outdoor Use

I had the chance to test out the Power Sonic Battery PTX20LBS-FS in my motorcycle, and I must say, it made quite an impression. This 12-volt battery with 18 ampere hours and an impressive cold cranking amperage of 200 proved to be extremely convenient to use. The best part? It's spill-proof and completely sealed, ensuring maximum safety.
The maintenance-free aspect of this battery was a game-changer for me. With no need for acid handling during activation, I could worry less and focus on my riding adventure. Just like the product description stated, all it took was to pop it into my motorcycle and I was good to go!
However, I noticed that it wasn't the most durable battery I've ever used. The lifespan of this battery wasn't as long as I hoped for. Despite this, the Power Sonic Battery still worked perfectly for its intended purpose and provided plenty of energy for my powersport vehicle.

🔗Victron 12V/25Ah AGM Super Cycle Battery: Long-Lasting, High-Performance Solution

https://preview.redd.it/vtoxuw2tz34d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5163144040f6ac75c2d2f4c82531f8e4f9be3722

The Victron Energy BAT412025081, also known as the 12V/25Ah AGM Super Cycle Batt. (M5), has been a game-changer in my daily life. I've had the opportunity to use this battery in numerous scenarios and I must say, I can't help but share my experience.
Firstly, the AGM Super Cycle technology is truly remarkable. Unlike traditional batteries, these super cycle batteries can handle occasional or frequent partial discharges without any issues. Their smaller size and reduced weight make them an attractive choice for those who are particular about the battery size.
However, there are a few drawbacks that I noticed too. While the battery is designed to prevent sulfation during deep discharge, one has to be careful with frequent deep discharges, as it could reduce the battery's life span. Also, the slightly higher voltage during recharge can strain some battery connections.
Overall, I am quite impressed with this battery's performance. It has proven to be reliable, easy to use, and quite efficient, even with the occasional drawbacks.

🔗Interstate 12V 26Ah AGM Battery with Nut and Bolt Terminal for Universal Fit

I've been using this Interstate Batteries 12V 26Ah SLA/AGM battery in my daily life for quite some time now, and I must say, it's been a game-changer! . Not only does it fit perfectly in my vehicle, but it's also incredibly reliable and long-lasting. The AGM technology ensures it's maintenance-free and spill-proof, making my life so much easier.
However, it's worth mentioning that the battery is quite heavy, which can be a bit of a hassle when transporting it. Overall, I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a reliable and efficient battery replacement.

🔗Schumacher Electric DSR ProPSJ-2212 12V 18Ah Maintenance-Free AGM Replacement Battery

I recently had the opportunity to try out the Schumacher Electric DSR ProPSJ-2212 12V 18Ah Jump Starter Replacement Battery. As someone who relies on jump starters frequently, I was excited to see if this one would live up to the hype.
The battery itself is a maintenance-free AGM technology, which means I no longer have to worry about adding acid or water. I found this to be a huge time-saver, especially when I was in a rush. Additionally, it was important to note that this is a replacement battery and not a complete starter pack, so I had to use my existing cables and hardware.
One standout feature of this battery is the charging speed. It quickly charges and then switches to maintain mode, protecting the battery from overcharging. This was particularly helpful when I was using it on a daily basis.
The sturdiness of the battery was also impressive. It had a nice heavy case that gave me confidence in the battery's durability. The cords were long and easy to manage, which was a nice bonus when I needed to reach the back of my vehicle.
Overall, the Schumacher Electric DSR ProPSJ-2212 12V 18Ah Jump Starter Replacement Battery performed well and I was very pleased with my purchase. Its sturdiness, charging speed, and convenient maintenance-free technology make it a great addition to anyone's tool kit.

I have been using the Victron Energy BAT412025081 12V/25Ah AGM Super Cycle Batt. (M5) for quite some time now, and I must say, it's been a game-changer. One of the main highlights I've experienced is the ability to handle repeated 100% discharge without any worries. The Super Cycle battery's new paste in the positive plates allows for slightly less sensitivity to softening.
Another aspect I appreciate is the significant reduction in sulfation during deep discharge, thanks to new additives in the electrolyte. However, I have noticed that the weight of this battery seems to be fractionally more compared to its standard Victron counterparts.
In terms of downsides, the battery's dimensions and weight are slightly larger and heavier than the standard Deep Cycle AGM batteries, which might be a concern for those with limited storage space or weight restrictions. Overall, the Victron Energy BAT412025081 has proven to be a reliable and efficient solution for my needs, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

🔗Affordable, Portable Sealed Lead-Acid Battery

The Mighty Max battery has been a game changer in my experience. I switched to this sealed lead-acid battery when my old one started causing issues, and I have not looked back since. I use this 12V, 100Ah SLA battery to power my outdoor devices, and the consistent power supply it provides is quite impressive. The rechargeable feature is definitely a plus, allowing me to use the same battery multiple times without worrying about constantly having to replace it.
One of the aspects that I appreciate the most about this product is its durability. Despite being subjected to various outdoor conditions, the Mighty Max battery has been quite rugged and held up well. The spill-proof feature is a welcomed addition as well, ensuring that my device never gets damaged due to accidents.
That being said, there are a couple of minor downsides to this product. One of them is the weight; it is a bit on the heavier side, which may pose inconvenience when transporting it. Additionally, while the battery offers a decent amount of capacity, the performance under heavy load conditions can be somewhat inconsistent at times.
In summary, the Mighty Max battery, despite its minor flaws, has been a reliable and long-lasting addition to my device setup. Its portability could be improved slightly, but overall, I am quite pleased with my purchase.

I've been enjoying using the Mighty Max Battery Ml15-12 in my daily life. With a voltage of 12V and a capacity of 15Ah, it's been a reliable power source for my various needs. I especially love how it's compatible with many devices, like the Goal Zero Escape 150 Power Pack and the Razor Dirt Rocket SX500.
One of the highlights is the battery's spill-proof design, which ensures that it can be used in any position without worrying about leaks. It's also rechargeable, which makes it an eco-friendly option for those looking to reduce their carbon footprint.
However, one downside I've noticed is the battery's weight, at 8.78 pounds, which can make it a bit cumbersome to handle. Additionally, it can be challenging to locate all the necessary mounting accessories as they are not included in the package.
Overall, the Mighty Max Battery Ml15-12 has been a trusty companion for my power needs. With its various compatibility options and spill-proof design, it's a reliable choice for those in the market for a high-performance battery with a long service life.

2024.06.02 09:12 Kylegreenbeans Call of Duty Black Ops Gulf War shouldn’t be called Call of Duty Black Ops 6.

I am not hating on Call of Duty Black Ops Gulf War, the game itself could succeed or flop, we don’t know. I am just stating why the game name doesn’t make sense.
Now I don’t consider Gulf War be called BO6. Unless you can explain me how it makes sense for it to be called that, I don’t consider it to be called that. Why? Because Cold War was basically a small “Days of Future Past” or a small reset of basically revisiting the original good Black Ops games. Simply by going back in time into the OG universe and revisiting things from the old games, thus by them adding a lot of unnecessary shit like Cold War and Gulf War.
I know they WILL retcon the original games story in Gulf War, as if they haven’t already done it in Cold War. No piece of media is safe from retconning their story. Such examples is the Obi-Wan Show. So if they made any mistakes towards Black Ops 1 2010 and Black Ops 2 2012 in this lazy unnecessary revisiting of those games in Gulf War. Then it is safe to say that COD Black Ops Gulf War isn’t my Mason or Woods. This isn’t the original games.
It doesn’t make any sense for Gulf War to be called BO6 when Cold War was set in the 1980s, meaning it should be called Black Ops 1.5 in terms of story of the original games. With Gulf War being Black Ops 1.8 in the timeline according to the OG games they decided to lazily recreate and used. As for the response for you guys mentioning BO4 and BO3 thinking “Well BO4 takes place before BO3, yet it is called BO4 instead of BO3.5”, well that wasn’t the point. Like Imagine calling a game Black Ops 6 though? When the original BO games of 1 and 2 were literally finished with its conclusions. Thus not needing any unnecessary extra details or games such as Cold War and Gulf War revisiting BO1 and BO2 story. Why even call it BO6 as if it is a continuation off of the original games?
Also Cold War was not called BO5 when released. It was planned but in the end it was called Cold War. And I think 2020 Black Ops Cold War is a better name than Black Ops 5.

2024.06.02 09:04 Immediate_Reward7595 Which FF14 Story is the hardest to understand and easy to get lost?

Story Recap (From Heavensward)
Heavensward
Heavensward is a story of playing Hide And Seek with Thordan VII. So Ishgard was suffering with a war between the dragons for a 1000 years. Mr. Thordan VII thew bunch of lies towards us about the dragon war saying Nidhogg is defeated. So we had to go to tons of places and meet tons of dragons and we learned the truth of the Dragon War. So we found out that Thordan I and his twelve knights aimed to steal Nidhoggs eye. Nidhogg killed Thordan I and some other knights but Haldrath successfully stole the eye of Nidhogg to avenge his dad, and Nidhogg and the other dragons got extremely mad and even a 1000 years, still with hatred and doubt towards human beings. So at level 57, from around the Vault, Thordan VII was a coward and he started to know that his lies were busted and started going to Azys Lla. We defeated Bismarck but Thordan VII stole the key and made us not enter Azys Lla. So we went all the way back to Ishgard and made Cid to created an upgraded version of our airship which successfully rip the wall of Azys Lla. Then we looked for Thordan, found him in the facility and he became King Thordan and fought him, successfully defeating him.
Stormblood
Stormblood seems a bit difficult for me and the others compared to the other games but it’s just quite simple where the Seventh Dawn visited Ala Mingho, learned about the people there were Zenos’s victims. While having a fun break and a tour around the area after beating that Darth Vader like King Thordan and the vengeful dragon named Nidhogg. We had a full bunch of hope and pumped to defeat the imperials control super quickly but it didn’t turned out really easy. So one night, Zenos visited the Ranglers Reach, bullied everyone with his gangs, the WOL challenged him but the bully was too powerful so the WOL was easily beaten up by the big Samurai Zenos. The next day, we or those who were assuming that Zenos was weaker were all so sad, depressed, disappointed, and despondent, about to destroy and give up our plans and hopes but Alphinald brought up a genius plan so we traveled to Japan and China which also suffered with the same kinda problems with a 100 ton ship to stop the imperial control in East Asia , help the victims out there, stop the woman named Yotsuru psychopath (A weaker version of Zenos). A woman who was traumatized about her childhood abuse from her parents and appealing herself that her parents made a monster like this as a revenge to them, get some more allies or friends like in Kugane, we met Soroban from Ninja Turtles or Hien from some kind of Demon slayer character, or like those cool fancy looking strong friends first as a training to fight Zenos again at the end game. It sounded fun and exciting to meet new people and team up but that didn’t go very easy. We were asked to do some quests in each area to gain the people’s trust. You guys think Kugane was such a major place but it wasn’t. It’s more like a sightseeing destination in FF14 so ignore it when it comes to the major story plot. In the Ruby Sea, the people living there suffered from the imperial Kojin’s control. In the Azim Steppe, there were 2 species of Au Ra and one of the species were extremely powerful but the other was extremely weak so we helped the weaker Au Ra to end the rivalry between the 2 species of Au Ra. The weak gets revenge on the strong one. And in Yanxia, we focused main on stopping Yotsuru and that freak surpporting Yotsuru.
Shadowbringers
The game FF14 SHADOWBRINGERS is basically bringing back the darkness. Opposite from FF3. So you enter the dream world named Norvrandt, the sky was too bright so it was kinda weird. The reason was there was these evil creatures named “Sin Eaters” eats people and make them transform into one of the Sin Eaters. So the Warrior of Light and the Seventh Dawn heard that the people living there were uncomfortable about the Sin Eaters and wanted the darkness so we visited each state of the dream world and beated up the strongest or the leader Sin Eaters that were living in each areas. While doing so, we met Vauthry, an extremely fat Sumo Wrestler who is a king of Sin Eaters living in a richly and fancy place named Eulmore, but he kinda always hits the ground very hard when he’s mad or upset. Dude, can you just stop hitting the ground? I feel bad for the ground. I’m an HSP so please stop doing those painful or hurtful stuffs. Also, if you wanna hit something, go and hit the worst person I’ve ever met in my whole life naked please? I’m begging you and everyone living in Eulmore is begging you to do so. We can’t sleep too. Just too noisy. So yeah, we met him and we also met an extremely eccentric Ascian named Emet Selch, a friend of Ardyn FF15 who wanted to connect the Dream World and the real world together so we stopped him. After we did, he died but like Aldbert, his spirit joined us and became our companion and he helped us fight against Elidibus, a FF3 player that brings back the light and also the most powerful Ascian before going to Endwalker.
Endwalker
Endwalker has 2 stories but becomes one around from level 83. So from level 80 to 83 is most basically we found a strange tower in every state in Eorzea, manipulating people like a disease and Fandinel was the one who did this so at level 80, we were able to choose to go on a hunting mission to Thaniver or stay at Old Sharlyan and learned about the Final Days but we weren’t able to learn a clue about it. We only learned that Hydelen was the good god and Zodiark as the bad god. So In Thaniver, we learned about the Mangus Sisters and we entered the Tower of Zot, defeat the Mangus Sisters and helped the people stuck in the tower. We successfully did. At level 82, we visited Garemald, a dark, evil and cold state and that state had the main tower which is causing people to be brainwashed or manipulated. While investigating there, we met Zenos (Rival) and Fandinel (Arch Enemy) and Zenos transferred his soul to our characters skin and that was no good at all. We struggled with that imperial suit. That was a hard challenge. After that, we successfully captured Zenos, stopped his attack and at level 83, we entered the Tower Of Babil and killed Anima (The one causing the brainwash). After doing so, Fadniel and Zenos escaped to the Moon so we chased the 2. After getting to the moon, Fandinel took his soul and transformed into Zodiark and we defeated it but this caused more big trouble. So after killing it, the final days began in the Earth but before that, we found cute rabbits living in the Beastways Burrow, the rabbits working to make a new environment in case if we failed to manage the final days. Coming back to Earth, we met this nightmare with bloody burning skies and people turning into monsters by negative emotions. So we tried our best to control the Final days. From level 86, the player goes back to the Crystarium, meets Ryne and the soul of Elidibus, and going to the far past land Elpis. Once we got there, we met tons of young Ancients such as Emet Selch and Venat. So we also met Meteion and Hermes, the 2 were so kind and friendly but Meteion has lots of sisters, so around level 87 quest, we got the results of Meteion’s Sisters but all turned out dead or missing and Meteion turned arrogant, vengeful, depressed, and destroying hope about the world and turning to being one of the major villains of the game. Hermes was too kind and trying to make Meteion more emotional but that turned even worse and that’s the reason why the final days begun. Meteion’s negative emotions. After coming back to the present, we went back to Old Sharlyan, and started to build a huge airship to the Ultima Thule. We called the whole Eorzea alliance to get as much Ether so we can build a huge and fast airship. There were few quests with that cute rabbits from the Moon and that was quite hard to deal with. After we got to the Ultima Thule, we were confused and searched a way to open a way to Meteion but this was quite sad. So our friends had to sacrifice their lives to make a road. What they will sacrifice for is that is we had to find the character who is nihilistic. So there were the dragons, Ea’s, and the Omicrons. The dragons and Ea’s were all nihilistic so it was hard to find the biggest nihilistic but for the omicrons, it was so hard to find. So for the dragons, it’s about they gave up because their world is having a big war, Ea’s were saying that Knowledges are wastes, and Omicrons were saying they are preparing for the war. After we opened all the path by sacrificing your friends, Emet and his friend appeared and returned everyone back to life. After that we defeated Meteion with one, and we talked to Meteion at the edge of the Universe. Meteion finally broke her negative feelings and she casted out her new beginning. Full of energy and enthusiasm, Meteion flew and find a switch where the player could go back to the airship but before that, we had our duel with our best friend Zenos. Zenos was full of enthusiasm and excitement for our final duel in Endwalker. After we defeated Zenos, Zenos became disappointed and depressed that he lost again and saying his last words before he is fully gone. The Seventh Dawn came back, everyone was so happy and that’s the end for Endwalker.
