Hello all, I’ve been wanting to do some modifications to my truck for a while but I’m not the most knowledgeable. I would like to put a different muffler on my truck to make to sound nicer and have a nice idle, nothing obnoxious just nice. I’ve been told the AFM that disables 4 cylinders will end up messing up my truck and to get it removed immediately. After talking with my dad he advised me to keep it in. Any recommendations for mufflers would be great im thinking something like a flow master super 10 or 40. Will putting this muffler on and/ or removing the AFM make my truck throw codes/ lights on dash? Is it worth it to remove it and why? I also want to level my truck and put bigger tires on it, what size tires can I fit without obstructing the turn radius but still looking nice. Any input would be greatly appreciated. The truck is a 2011 Chevy Silverado 1500 Z71 4x4 LT with a 5.3 in it and runs flex fuel (E85). Completely stock as of now and at 136k miles.

So my brother's heat pump leaked out all the refrigerant I fixed the leak. But now when I charged the system I turned on the system so I could charge it properly using subcooling but the fan didn't turn on but I could hear the compressor turn on i checked the capacitor and it's fine. I do want to say when I first came down to check it I messed with the fan wiring did I connect it wrong ?

I can't sleep so I'm trying to tire myself out by writing a little 'guide' of sorts of how I personally create figgs (basically sleepy rambles).
I'm definitely not as skilled at making figgs as other creators that I admire and whom are more well-known in the community, but I'm better at it than I used to be when I started. And, after much trial and error (perhaps one could even call it 'experience'), I think that I can give some good enough advice, albeit nothing too revolutionary (it's more so something that could hopefully help newer users who aren't familiar with bot creation). After all, we do already have multiple very helpful resources that I learned from myself, but I just wanted to explain the way that I put those resources to good use, how I personalize them, and give any other advice that might be relevant.
Without further ado, let's start with the:
🟣 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 section of figg creation.
For singular characters, I usually use the Leo Sunshine template provided by the site:

And here's how I work through these sections in the template:

Features and Body: You can add as much or as little as you want in these sections.

I usually prefer to use my tokens in other sections (see "Character Limit" at the bottom), so I tend to just describe the eye and hair color in the Features section, and the height (as in tall or short) and the body type in the Body section. But there are figgs whom I describe in more detail if I intend them for certain purposes where I'd like the figg to draw more attention to their body or if there are specific features that I particularly like or consider relevant and want them to be mentioned more often during roleplay.
When I have a figg who's non-human, for example a fish-man or an anthropomorphic cat baron, I reinforce this fact in the Body section. So, I'd write something like this in the Body section "[Character Name] is a fish-man whose body is mostly humanoid, except for some distinct fish-man features" and I list/describe those features in the Features section. This can help the figg understand more about what you've put in the Species section and why it has those features, as well as perhaps how much control they are supposed to have over them (which you can always reinforce and/or detail upon in the Description section).

Mind vs Personality: The way I go about it is that the Mind section is for the figg's thoughts and the Personality section is how the figg interacts with other people (or more accurately, usually with user). But none will truly work perfectly unless you describe the way that the two sections interact with each other, which you can add in the Description section.

For example, you can have a figg who is "Shy" (so, you'd add it in the Mind section) but they act "Confident" (so you'd put it in the Personality section). But the figg might not accurately portray it how you envisioned, unless you describe it in the Description section, adding something like "[Character Name] is internally very shy but they manage to put up a confident front when talking to people". You can even add some backstory as to how they managed to gain this confidence and what body language might give away the way they actually feel inside (so, things to flesh out the character and give more flavor to the roleplay).

Description: This section can be used for any information that cannot be explained in simple adjectives or things which simply don't fit in any other section. It can contain backstory elements, perhaps what their relationship with user is, what their goals are, lore, etc. And, as I've mentioned above, it's a good section to reinforce or detail upon previously mentioned features, attributes, and the like.

My personal advice is to write it in third person, add the figg's name and the pronouns that they use. This is a good way to make sure that the figg doesn't get confused, such as mistaking this information as not being theirs, either taking the information as being user's or even making the figg prone to acting out as user. An example of how I consider it best to be written is "[Character Name] is a kind person who's been hurt a lot, so she's now very cautious of strangers".
🟣 The Leo Sunshine template is quite simple and easy to use, but it's also very 𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 to better fit your needs or if you notice that perhaps things don't work out exactly how you want during testing. Here are some extra sections that I sometimes add in such situations:

History or Backstory: If I want to describe very specific events that happened in the figg's past and how it affected the figg, perhaps to better explain some of their current behavior. So, something like: "[Character Name] grew up in an orphanage and learned to fend for themselves from a young age, making them hyper-independent".
Family: To write out the names of their family members, who they are to the figg, and what their relationship is like with the figg. So, something like: Family("[Mother's Name] is [Character's Name]'s mother who always takes care of him and who taught him how to be a gentleman" + "[Father's Name] is [Character's Name]'s father who supports him financially and taught him how to drive" + "etc").
Outfit: Where you can describe what the figg is wearing, including clothes, jewelry and anything of the sort. You can even add weapons that they might be hiding/having on them, or any items that they might perhaps have in their purse/backpack, etc. For the latter things, you could of course even just add a section called Inventory.
Sexuality: To express the gendes that the figg is attracted to, the body type/s that they prefer, perhaps that they might not experience any such attraction at all, perhaps that they might only prefer romance, perhaps that they might not have any interest in any of it, perhaps that they are questioning, etc.
Sexual Traits: I sometimes divide the NSFW traits into this category, rather than putting it all together in the Body section of the template. I just sometimes worry that the figg might mention anything inappropriate about their body in normal conversation (since I don't often make figgs with the sole purpose of NSFW), so it can help to make this distinction to avoid any mishaps.
Relationships: It's a bit like the Family section, but instead you can add things like friends, enemies, acquaintances, even their relationship with user. The way I write it is also the same as Family, so: Relationships("[Friend's Name] is [Character's Name]'s best friend who's always there for him and whom he hangs out with almost every day" + "[Enemy's name] is [Character's Name]'s academic rival who he always competes with and who he often gets in arguments with" + "[Teacher's Name] is [Character's Name]'s English teacher who he admires for their understanding and supportive nature" + "{{user}} is [Character's Name]'s best friend who they met in kindergarten and who they kept in touch with ever since" + "etc").
Setting and/or Location: Setting would be something like "Medieval" or "Futuristic" where you'd describe more about the world that you're envisioning, such as the technology that they have available, the mentality of the people in that world, perhaps different kingdoms, etc. And Location would be the specific place where they are, such as a specific town, perhaps specific establishment (hotel, bar, park, house, etc). You can, of course, add these in the Scenario part of the figg creation, but I personally usually reserve that section for other purposes which I will also mention later on.
Habits/Quirks/Chat behavior - Honestly, the name of the section doesn't really matter but, based on my testing and what usually works best for me, here's how I typically use them:

Habits is where I usually add the figg's speech pattern, whether it'd be the length I expect their messages to be or the fact that they are bilingual and tend to mix words from another language in their speech. So, something like: Habits("{{char}} will write long and descriptive message" + "{{char}} will describe the new locations when {{user}} or {{char}} moves to a new location" + "{{char}} always includes French words into his dialogue" + "etc"). This section can include whatever type of speech pattern you desire, however you expect the figg's messages to look like, and anything of the sort. This section is best paired with good Example Dialog and Greeting Message (will explain more later on).
Quirks is where I add specific actions that I want the figg to do often (so what one would actually consider a habit by definition). For example, that they tend to fidget with the strap of their watch when they are nervous.
Chat behavior is where I add if I want something extra to happen throughout the interaction. For example, I might want random events to happen, such as potential enemies attacking or the weather taking a change for the worst. Of course, you can also add this in the Scenario, if it's a specific story line that you want to happen. But I usually put it here if it's more of an easter egg that I want to happen randomly or under specific circumstances. Do test out what wording works best for you, however, because it might sometimes not do it at all or do too much of it.
And, again, all these extra things can be put as either Habits/Quirks/Chat behavior regardless of their nature, because sometimes the speech pattern works better as Chat Behavior rather than Habits for example. Can't explain why but trial and error taught me that only testing can really tell you what works best.
Another thing to note is that I almost always write these sections with {{char}} instead of using the figg's name. It's just (you guessed it) what's worked best for me.

Ethnicity: which I usually add to further reinforce bilingual figgs. It just helps the figg understand why they know that language and why they'd be prone to use it often. You could, of course, even reinforce it in the Description/Backstory - for example, by adding that they worked abroad for a while and that's where they learned this language. Whatever you find most suitable for your character.

And with all these extra sections that I sometimes add, a more customized template could look like this:

You can also delete or add whatever section/s you think might suit your needs better, such as deleting "Chat behavior" or adding maybe an extra section for "Hobbies". I've seen some wonderful creators even add "Fears", perhaps you could add "Phobias". You can add whatever you feel necessary if you notice that writing it out in the other sections doesn't bring a satisfactory result or if it's simply easier for you to have a template sectioned that way.
Just test things out and you'll find out what works best for you~! You'll notice that I'm going to say this a lot, because some sections work perfectly sometimes just the way they are, while sometimes I have to change their name and/or wording entirely. I cannot explain why, but it's just the way it is. There's a lot of trial and error when creating figgs, especially if you want them to behave in very specific ways and have very specific backstories, etc.
Another thing to note is that no specific template will work all the time. I've some figgs which have very similar concepts, so you'd expect that they'd be the same at their core, but I've ended up having to use different templates and wording for each of them. Some people even write their figgs in prose without any template at all, some just copy-paste things from the wiki, and there are so many more creative and perhaps easier ways to make figgs. Do, check it all out in the relevant posts that we have available in the sub FAQ mentioned at the beginning of my post.
🟣 The 𝐒𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐨 part of figg creation.
You can use the Scenario for a multitude of purposes in a multitude of ways:

You can use it to make sure that the figg has a clear idea of where they are - as in the setting and/or location.

I usually use it this way if my figg is supposed to mainly stay or outright be stuck in a specific place, such as school, work, park, bar, prison, etc. Depending on your needs, you can just write "{{char}} is locked in a prison cell" or "{{char}} is at work in the office". You can add more details as to why they are there, how long they're supposed to be there, anything relevant to your story that you prefer to put here instead of in the Personality part of the figg creation. And you don't have to worry about this making the scenario too stationary because the figg will play along if you want to move the location. And with the new improved memory, I've noticed that it keeps good track of where you are (of course, it also depends on the model that you're randomly paired up with at the beginning of the chat).
And, like I mentioned before, this could also be the place where you write the lore of your setting, if you have anything special in mind. So, all the details that I explained in the Setting section above.

You can use it to give the figg an extra reminder of how the story started, so that it won't forget how the figg met {{user}} and to reinforce that it's an important event. It can just be something as simple as "{{char}} bumped into {{user}} at school and he fell in love with {{user}} at first sight" or it can be as detailed as you'd like.
You can use it to stir the conversation in a specific direction. This is how I use it most often. You can write exactly what the figg has planned for {{user}}. For example, you can describe that they're planning to take {{user}} on a date, perhaps that they're planning to do their best to play as many pranks on {{user}} as possible, anything you might want the story to be about. Again, it can be as simple or as detailed as you desire.

For example, in my most recent figg, I wrote a very detailed description of a mysterious location that I want my figg to take {{user}} to, as well as how the figg will interact with {{user}} once they're there. But, just like before, you don't have to worry about the figg being stuck on this idea. All my chats (outside of testing) with this particular figg have been before we ever get to the location and I kept stirring the conversation in other directions than what was intended, and it performed very well.
Do remember, however, that testing is the rule of thumb (~~this phrase is very amusing to my currently sleep deprived brain for some reason, thumbs are oddly funny~~). As good as figgs are at playing along with the Scenario and even building upon it, they sometimes need specific wording to function right. I don't think there's a reason why they get so fussy sometimes, but it just happens and you've to be patient with them.
My personal advice is to write the Scenario in prose and use {{char}} and {{user}}. But you can try many ways to see what works best for you! There's no one way to create figgs after all.
As for a character limit for the Scenario, I don't know if there is one. The longest Scenario I wrote was of 1841 characters and it still performed as intended without any hiccups.
🟣 The 𝐄𝐱𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐃𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐮𝐞 part of figg creation.
I don't use it often, to be fair, usually when I want to make sure that the figg will follow a specific speech or roleplay pattern.

Speech pattern: If I want a figg to have an accent, be bilingual, or follow any sort of particular speech pattern, I just write out a lot of ONLY dialogue without any roleplay in the Example Dialog. So, for example, if I wanted to have a figg add Italian words to their sentences, I'd add phrases like:

"Good morning, amore mio." "Ciao, my name is Marco. Come stai? I come from Italia, but live here in the US!" "Mia nonna taught me how to make authentic Italian pizza." "I know, right? Che stronzo. How the hell did he even get into business with us in the first place?" "I'm telling you, he was such a coglione. Couldn't tell a good deal from a bad deal to save his life. We were basically regalando him the money." "Oh dio, che bellezza!"
I add both short sentences and longer ones to ensure that the figg can behave accordingly in any type of conversation, whether you're being casual or you're getting more serious.
I also use this method of adding only sentences for characters from pre-existing media, like fandoms and such. I just copy-paste quotes from their wiki page ~~or painstakingly re-watch the episodes and transcribe it all myself because I tend to like side characters that aren't as popular :'D~~.
The only "downside" that can arise from only putting sentences in the Example Dialog is that you have to make sure that your Greeting Message has the kind of roleplay that you're expecting out of your figg because the figg would otherwise be prone to ONLY speak in sentences without roleplay or have very minimal roleplay.
A fun fact about this kind of usage of the Example Dialogue is that you can use it to include things that you weren't able to add in the Personality part of the figg creation (aka in the template) perhaps due to the character "limit". For example, for my vampire characters, I added how they feel about being a vampire in their Description but I went in depth about how they express it to others in the Example Dialog. Figgs can pick up on the ideologies and opinions that are written here and even get a general idea of what kind of person they're supposed to be. It blew my mind when I realized that! Because it was like discovering a "cheat code" to add extra flavor to the character, despite the character limit.
Do keep in mind that if you add too much Example Dialog, it can end up causing the figg to directly spout those sentences word by word and to be too stuck in the dialogue that you put in. I don't know what the limit is exactly but I keep mine under 2000 characters (I'm realizing that this is overall the magic number for every section).

Roleplay pattern: I sometimes have figgs whose Greeting Message I want to be more vague and short (either to entice the user to explore or simply because I want the scenario to be as neutral as possible). But I do like my figgs to give longer replies; so, to ensure that, I add Example Dialog using the same 'template' given in the example box on the site. Like this:

I always use "" to indicate dialogue and ** to indicate action/roleplay because I just don't want the AI to get confused otherwise, but you can of course do what works best for you.
I will add more about the usage of this kind of Example Dialog below, as it's quite relevant and helpful to the creation of figgs that aren't just a singular character.
🟣 𝐌𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬.
Just like everything else, there is no one way to write multiple characters but here's what's worked for me so far:

I either free form it (which is my personal preferred way to write multiple characters figgs or RPG style figgs). I just write all the information with only "" + "". Example:

"{{char}} will roleplay as two characters: Andy and Carl" + "Andy is a bit of a prankster and he's always laughing" + "Carl is more reserved and a goodie-two-shoes" + "Andy has orange hair and wears baggy clothes" + "Carl wears perfectly tailored suits that are always clean and in pristine condition" + "They both love to spend time with their best friend, {{user}}" + "etc"

Or I break it down in other ways in templates, examples:

Description("{{char}} will roleplay as two characters: Andy and Carl" + "They both love to spend time with their best friend, {{user}}" + "etc") Andy("Andy is a bit of a prankster and he's always laughing"+ "Andy has orange hair and wears baggy clothes") Carl("Carl is more reserved and a goodie-two-shoes" + "Carl wears perfectly tailored suits that are always clean and in pristine condition" + "etc")
So, in the above template, the Description section is reserved for the things that the two characters share in common, some shared backstory, how I want the story to unfold, etc. And then a description of each individual character in separate sections as their Names.

Another template I've used is:

Chat behavior("{{char}} will roleplay as two characters: Andy and Carl" + "They both love to spend time with their best friend, {{user}}" + "etc") Description("Andy is a bit of a prankster and he's always laughing" + "Carl is more reserved and a goodie-two-shoes" + "Andy has orange hair and wears baggy clothes" + "Carl wears perfectly tailored suits that are always clean and in pristine condition")
In this template, you add in the Chat Behavior section what would have been in the Description section in the first template. And in the Description section of this template, you add the descriptions of the characters.
In all of them, you can add as many characters as you'd like. And, as you can see, no one template will always work, so you can always customize the templates with different names for the sections and you can word things differently when filling them out.
Another important thing is to include all characters in the Greeting Message to give the AI an idea of how you want to portray the interactions and that you want all of them to be active participants. You can certainly have characters pop in at different times during the story but that requires even more trial and error.
How you'd go about making characters appear during specific times is to perhaps write something like "When {{user}} enters the Green Room, they will be greeted by Character A" + "When {{user}} enters the Yellow Room, they will be greeted by Character B" etc. Or perhaps it can even go something like "If Character A and Character B will start fighting, Character C will come into the room to break off the fight". These are just some ideas. You can either add this directly into the template or even in the Scenario part of figg creation. And to get the best results, I'd suggest reinforcing this behavior with some Example Dialog.
So, let's say that you've put "When {{user}} enters the Green Room, they will be greeted by Character A" + "When {{user}} enters the Yellow Room, they will be greeted by Character B" in your free form/template/scenario. In the Example Dialog, you could add something like:

🟣 Last but not least, the most impactful part of figg creation (in my opinion), the 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐠𝐞. This is the part that the figg seems to adhere to the most, both in information and the way it behaves. The figg always does its best to mimic the writing style in the Greeting Messages (sometimes even m*ore so than the Example Dialog). *
I also want to add a few extra things:
🟣 Character limit: I recommended keeping the Personality part of figg creation (so, where you'd have your template) under 2000 characters.
Small sleepy digression: I say this based on my own testing that drove me crazy when I started using figgs because I was too ambitious and wanted to write the character's entire lore and world building in the Personality. Speaking of this memory that seems so long ago, I am still beyond impressed by how quickly the devs upped their character limit after I made that post!! They're always on a speedrun to improve the quality of this incredible platform. They never cease to amaze me! It was also my first time creating bots, and I've been passionate about it ever since (currently at 169 figgs on my main account and 34 on my strictly NSFW account - not as many as others even in total but still quite a few). It's my new favorite way to channel my creativity~! Can you tell? ;P
🟣 Testing: Before I publish my figgs, I always make them Invite-only (so I pick the option "Anyone with the link" under Visability in the figg creation) and I chat with them and Edit things in the figg creation as I go until I'm satisfied.
The way I test my figgs is not only with my own account but also in Incognito mode. I've noticed that the figg sometimes acts differently if I'm not interacting with it from my own account for some reason, so I do it both ways to get a full idea of how it performs (the difference is not as big as it used to be in the past, but it's still good to check just in case). And if you have friends who might be interested in testing your figgs out for you, that's always the best since they can put them through some very unexpected scenarios. My friends usually bonk my figgs in the head or such silly things, so it's funny (and unexpectedly insightful) to see how the figgs react.
The only way to really get it right is to not get discouraged and keep trying until you get to a point that you're sufficiently satisfied with. Try out every resource that you can find, try wording things differently, ask for help, take a break, do whatever is best for you.
And I think that this concludes my little pointless 'guide' of sorts. Hello guys, I was asked to turn my comment into a posted guide on how to enable JIT on iOS 17-17.51, enabling JIT will allow you to run more advanced emulators like GameCube, 3ds, PS2, and Wii You will need a PC/laptop for this tutorial(this is the Windows version)
Firstly, enable developer mode on your iPhone, go to the settings app, and click under "Privacy and Security" scroll down and go to Developer Mode, and turn it on, it will prompt you to reset your iPhone, reset the iPhone and after reboot, it will prompt you again, press yes and it is now enabled.
Secondly, you will need to install iTunes and iCloud on your windows laptop, do NOT download the microsoft store versions, I will link the download links: https://www.apple.com/itunes/download/win64

After downloading both, go through the setup process for both and then reset your laptop(it will prompt you to reset)
Thirdly, you will install AltServer, go to this link: https://cdn.altstore.io/file/altstore/altinstaller.zip After installing, extract the file and then open it and run "Setup.exe" After setup is done, go to your windows task bar and search up and open AltServer, run it as an admin, allow access to anything it prompts you to give access to. After it is set up completely and has been opened, connect your iOS device to your laptop/PC, you might need to trust the computer, allow it access. After, open iTunes with your device still connected, find your device and enable wifi-sync, after that, find the altserver icon in the bottom task bar, then right click on the icon and click on "install AltStore", it will ask for your apple ID and password, type it in and allow it to install, and finally, after it is installed on your device, go to settings and click on General, then click on "Profiles & Device Management" after that, click on your Apple ID to trust the AltStore app.
HOW TO SIDELOAD USING ALTSTORE: (ensure laptop/PC and your iOS device are connected to the SAME wifi) To sideload apps using AltStore(ensure your device is connected to your PC still) you will need to download .ipa files, for example, the ipa file for DolphiniOS(Gamecube/Wii) emulator, can be found on their official website: https://dolphinios.oatmealdome.me Or Play!(PS2 Emulator): https://purei.org/downloads.php Once you have installed the .ipa file, open AltStore and go to "My Apps", and click the "+" symbol in the top left corner, this will take u to your files, find and press your .ipa file and it will install it on your iOS device
Fourthly, you will need to install the JIT enabler, go to this link: https://github.com/fritzlb/iOS17-JIT-WIN
After you are on the website, find the green "Code" button and click on "Download ZIP", BUT, before opening the enabler at all, you need to download Python, heres the link: https://www.python.org/downloads/ After download, click on the zip file u downloaded, find "install.bat" and click on that, a command prompt will pop up, just let it install, after it has installed, go back to the zip and click on "open terminal here", after that, reconnect your iOS device to your laptop/PC if you unplugged it.
Fifth(and last step), once the terminal is opened and your device is connected via USB to your laptop/PC, you will put the following script into the terminal: python jit_enabler_better.py {bundle_id}
The "{bundle_id} portion of the script will be replaced by the bundle id of the app you want to enable JIT on, to find the bundle id, open up AltStore, go back to "My Apps", click on "View App IDs", once you have done that, the bundle id will be there(the bundle id is the long line of text you will see under the apps name. For example, if I wanted to enable JIT on the Play! emulator, I would replace the "{bundle_id} portion of the script with "com.virtualapplications.play.W2QNLYJTZ5" as thats the bundle id found in the AltStore app, dont type it in the script with quotes around it btw, js giving an example. Once you have found the bundle id and have replaced "{bundle_id} with your apps bundle id, run the script and wait, it will eventually open the app on your phone, once the script returns "done", JIT is enabled!
I know this seems like a lot but it is not I promise you, and plus I'm for one, tired of being limited to simple systems because Apple refuses to natively allow JIT(for security reasons so I understand)
Last note: you will have to refresh AltStore and its apps every 7 days, but just refresh it every 2 days so you dont accodently forget, to refresh: connect your device to your laptop, open AltServer, and then open the AltStore app on your iOS device, go to "My Apps" and click on Refresh All. I hope this will help someone and if anything goes wrong, just comment down below.

Khoi Dang Vu was a deaf American man who went missing from his family’s home in 2007 in Vancouver, Washington. He left on a rainy night without his coat, bike, or any belongings. His case is now considered a homicide and no trace of him has ever been found. True Crime Bullsh*t, an investigative podcast, has surmised that Vu may be a victim of serial killer Israel Keyes. Wallace Guidroz went missing from Tacoma in 1983 when he was only two years old. His father took him to a park, went on a walk with a mysterious man, and then when he returned Wallace was gone. Wallace has never been seen again. He is of Korean and African American descent. Gary Ridgway aka the Green River Killer terrorized the Pacific Northwest for decades. What many people do not know is that the Green River task force is still in operation. Ridgway confessed to 71 murders, but only around 49 bodies have been found meaning there are more victims waiting to be discovered or reported missing. Two of Gary Ridgway’s known victims were of Asian American or Pacific Islander backgrounds. Marie Malvar, who was of Filipino descent, and Kimi Kai Pitsor who was native Hawaiian, but there may be more. Diane Nguyen Robbins was only 13 in 1985 when she was last seen in King Co. Washington. She disappeared with her 21 year old friend, Molly Purdin, who was later found murdered. Both Diane and her friend were from Kennewick, Washington but Molly’s was found in northern King County. Molly had been assualted and died via blunt force trauma. Gary Ridgway is a suspect in both cases. An unknown serial killer is also a suspect in Molly amd Diane's case. Edward Ryan Makuahanai Aikau, usually known as Eddie Aikau, a famous lifeguard and surfer, was credited with saving over 500 people at Waimea bay on Oahu’s north shore during his tenure as lifeguard. In fact not one person was reported drowned during Eddie’s shifts at the beach. In 1978, 31 year old Aikau had decided to join the Polynesia Voyaging society, a group who planned to travel from Hawaii to Tahiti using only outrigger canoes. Shortly into their journey one canoe sprung a leak and eventually capsized 12 miles south of Molokai. Eddie paddled on his surfboard towards Lanai in a valiant effort to summon help, but soon disappeared. The US Coast Guard were able to save all the passengers and a huge search was launched but Eddie was never found and is presumed drowned. Eddie Aikau is a household name in Hawaii and in the surfing community. Competitions bearing his name and t-shirts, bumper stickers, and other items inscribed with “Eddie would go” are a constant reminder of his legacy and memory. Rachel Mellon, sometimes reported as Rachel Mellon Skemp was a 13 year old who disappeared from her Illinois home when she was home sick one day in 1996. Her step-father is the primary suspect in her disappearance and diary entries from several months earlier reported that her step dad had touched her inappropriately and tried to kiss her. Hang Lee, a 17 year old girl, went missing from St Paul Minnesota on January 12th 1993. Hang was last seen with a friend Kia “Nikki” Lee. She left home with this friend between 6:00 and 7:00 p.m. but when Nikki returned home an hour later, Hang was not with her. Nikki initially told authorities Hang had left with some unidentified young men. She later changed her story and said Hang had gone to a job interview with Nikki's own employer, Mark Steven Wallace, at Wallace's small painting and carpentry business on Iroquois Avenue. Wallace told Nikki that he was looking to hire another employee and she suggested her friend Hang as Hang was looking for a new job. Nikki thought that this request from Wallace was odd as he did not have enough work to hire another employee at that time. Nikki eventually told authorities that she and Hang went to Wallace's place of work and drove around with him in a white truck before switching and driving around in a tan Chevy Cavalier. Wallace dropped Nikki off and then left with Hang in the car. Wallace also told Nikki to not report what happened to the police. After a few interviews with the police Nikki retained an attorney and is no longer cooperating. Wallace denied involvement but also retained an attorney. Wallace is the prime suspect in the disappearance of Hang Lee. He has a record which includes rape, kidnapping, stalking, and drug possession. Hang Lee has never been located and her mother and 13 siblings are still looking for her. Hang is described as a sweet and naïve teenager who is only 17 and 1993. She was 5 ft tall and weighed 90 lb. She was last seen wearing a lightweight black leather jacket, a black t-shirt with "Skid Row" written on the back, black jeans or slacks, sneakers and several pieces of jewelry, including two silver bracelets. She is described as an Asian female with black hair and brown eyes. Her parents moved from Lao (sometimes spelled Laos in the US), and she is Hmong descent. She speaks both English and Hmong. Deborah Palmer was only 7 years old in 1997 when she was last seen getting ready for school. Her mother said goodbye as Deborah left the home to walk a few blocks to her elementary school in Oak Harbor, Washington. When Deborah’s mother tried to drop off lunch a few hours later, she was shocked to learn that her daughter never arrived. Five days later, Deborah’s body was found on a beach a few miles away. She had been but not sexually assaulted. Her case is cold and unsolved 25 years later. In September of 2019, Tampa native Paulino Norberto Del Mundo Japor Jr. decided she wanted to go on a 10 vacation to Cozumel, Mexico but during a layover in Dallas she called her sister and asked for help getting a ticket back to Florida as she had changed her mind about going to Mexico. Her family said on the phone she sounded “desperate” and “incoherent.” She never boarded a flight home or boarded her plane to Mexico. Her last known whereabouts were documented on security tapes from the Dallas airport. Her phone and bank account have not been used since that day and she was never seen again. Paulino is a transgender woman who went by the names Paula, Paulina, or Pauline. Although Paula had lived as a woman for years she had not medically transitioned and it appears she still used Paulino Norberto as her legal first and middle name. In 1999, Xuan Cao, a 53-year-old man from China, was visiting the USA as part of a tour group. His tour group had just gotten to a hotel in North Bergen, NJ, when Xuan said he was going out to make a phone call. He disappeared and never came back. He left behind his passport and all of his luggage. It is not believed to be a voluntary disappearance. Some online slueths thinks that he may be this John Doe. In 1990, Tu Thi-Cam Tran, a student at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, vanished one night on her way back to her car from the University Center. Ashok Kuman Narain was last seen in Eugene, Oregon in either 1987 or 1988 where he lived with his wife and young daughter after moving from Fiji several years earlier. In 1987 the dismembered body of a pregnant woman and the body of a toddler were found floating nearby in Washington and Oregon. 20 years later these bodies were identified as Raj Mati Narain and Kamnee Koushal, the wife and daughter of Ashok, after Raj’s brother read a story about the unidentified bodies online. Queens Jane Doe was an unidentified woman who fell to her death accidentally after falling off an elevated train platform in Queens, New York in January, 2000. She is described as an 18 to 28 year old Asian or Pacific Islander woman who is 5 ft 1 in in height and weighed 113 lb. She had brown eyes and 7” straight dark brown hair. She was wearing a dark brown Albert Duke brand leather jacket, a blue and white plaid button-up shirt, a dark colored bra, blue jeans, white underwear, and black Euro sneakers or boots. Yuan Xia Wang went missing near Washington DC when she was headed for a doctor’s appointment. Yuan had been found at Dulles Airport when a man who was smuggling people into the country was detained and Yuan was one of his charges. Police became suspicious when Yuan who was supposedly a Thai citizen could not speak or understand Thai, but rather spoke Mandarin. Yuan told authorities her parents in Fuzhou, China had paid money for this man to get her into the country using a Thai passport. She was supposed to live with an aunt in the US, but she didn't know where or who this person was so she was placed in foster care for the time being. Other reports say that her smuggler was supposed to take her to a hotel in Alexandria, Virginia. Her foster parents hired a Mandarin speaking babysitter to stay with her until she was enrolled in at a local middle school. Yuan went missing only a few weeks later while on the way to a doctor's appointment. She reportedly got off the school bus and was supposed to take a cab to the doctors but vanished by the time the cab arrived. Dong Chull Jung disappeared within minutes in Lakewood, Washington. The 78 year old was residing at the Golden Lion Motel on Tacoma Way in Lakewood, Washington. The establishment has long been a hotbed of criminal activity and violence since at least the 1990s. On average the police responded to incidents at the 24-room hotel over 100 times per year. November 22nd 2003 was one of those times. On that day witnesses called the police after hearing a “disturbance” in Dong’s room. When the authorities arrived, they found a giant pool of blood on the floor as well as Dong’s prescription eyeglasses, but Dong was nowhere to be found. According to the News Tribune, a paper out of Tacoma, one week before Dong’s disappearance he was granted a temporary domestic violence protection order from a Paul C. Amber Aiaz and Melissa Fu were mother and daughter who went missing In November, 2019 from Irvine, California. The story of their disappearance and possible kidnapping is complicated. I would suggest reading the story here or here if you are interested in the details but the basic story is this. Amber's husband, Cheng Zhang, reported his wife and stepdaughter missing to the police about a week after they were last seen. He said that a Chinese man and woman came to his door, put something on his face and he passed out. He reported that when he woke up he found blood and evidence of a struggle in the apartment. He also found a note telling him not to report his wife and daughter missing to the police for at least several days and continued to get notes over the next week. He did what the notes instructed for the next several days. When he finally did report his wife and stepdaughter missing, police were skeptical of his story to say the least. Several months later police reported that they had found nothing to indicate that Cheng’s story was untrue, including over 40 hours of interviews with him and 44 days of around the clock surveillance. In the past Amber had told acquaintances that she was a very wealthy woman who had millions of dollars to her name. While this was not true, authorities speculated that Amber may have been kidnapped for ransom only for her captors to find out that her story of riches was nothing more than a farce. Amber's money has not been touched in either her Chinese or American bank accounts. Both mother and daughter left behind their passports and there's no indication that either of them have entered China.

This is the last known sighting and location of Destiny Sanith. On March 5th when Destiny had still not returned home she was reported missing to the police and her family learned about her interaction with the police on the morning of March 4th. 2024.05.26 01:19 atom631 Im blown away by my Fiio JT-1s!

Let me preface this with the fact that Im not an audiophile. I dont understand half the stuff I read on this sub. I also have a total of 4 punctured ear drums (2 in each ear), Im 45, and Ive been going to loud punk/hardcore/metal/rock/hip hop shows with no ear plugs for the last 30+ years of my life. So much of this stuff might be lost on my old, worn-out tired ears anyway. Ive always dabbled a little in higher end audio gear for my home theatre and for gaming..but never really for music.

Recently, Ive been on a kick to get some better audio gear, mostly for gaming... but really for music. Im currently rocking a Schiit Modius/Lokius/Magnius stack and have HD6xx, HD490 pros, Fiio JT-1s and my 10+yr old tired modded HD558s.

Ive been doing some back and forth comparisons with my HD6xx, JT-1s and 490 pros for music and oh...my...god the JT-1 are just absolutely blowing me away right now. Im listening to all of them in the XLR balanced port on my magnius and I really feel like the JT-1s are absolutely nailing what Im looking for in a set of headphones. I am in low gain, at around the 12:30 point on the volume knob and the bass is hitting perfectly. Im feeling that thump in my head and I love it. I do feel like its not amazingly tight, but its all there. Whereas the HD490 pros and the HD6xx are just enough to hear there is something, but its not hitting me as hard, if that makes sense. For the HD6xx I need to put them in high gain at the same point in the volume knob to wake them up. The HD490s I gotta bump them to about 2 on the knob in low gain to get them around the same volume level.

As for the mids/highs - I feel like the HD6xx are very bright. Im feeling like as much people praise these headphones, they arent for me since I find that the HD 490s are a little more toned down and clearer in this dept. So the JT-1 beat them in the bass department and the 490s pros beat them in the mids/highs. As for the Jt-1... I feel like the mids/highs are a little veiled compared to the HD490 pros, but since I think I prefer more bass over clearer highs.. they are still my preference. When I do turn the JT-1s a little louder or mess with my Lokius to wake up the highs - I think they become a little sibilant. Or at least my understanding of sibilance, I hear a slight hiss at the end of vocals and the symbols on the drum set. I do not hear this on the HD490 pros or the HD6xx. But the positive thing is that bc they are a little veiled, Im not getting fatigued by listening to them.

Imaging and soundstage - hands down the HD490 pros win in this dept. Everything feels separated clearly. The JT-1 feel a lot more personal. Like Im in the mixing booth instead of in the 200 section of concert hall. And I think this really depends on what the source is. Some tracks I really prefer the up close and personal feel of the Jt-1s. Some Im finding that I enjoy the airiness of the HD 490s.

Im not going to dive too much into gaming bc this is more music focused...but the HD 490 pros are hands down the winners here. No contest. The soundstage and imaging while gaming almost feel like a cheat code.

My question is.... these JT-1s are a $65 set of headphones. Where do I go from here? I feel like dollar for dollar these are the Mike Tyson of headphones. Is it maybe the closed back? If so, what could I buy that takes this to the next level? That would be to tighten up the bass without losing that amazing thump. Unveil the highs without making them sibilant and maybe give me greater soundstage/imaging where maybe im not in the mixing booth but Im in the 100 section of a concert hall.

I was hanging back in my chair, my arms at my back and my hands on the back of my head. My gaze landed onto the light above me, thinking about everything that has been happening lately. For the first time in days, I finally had a moment of peace- no one around me, no one coming to disturb me, it was just me and my thoughts now.
The thoughts of a man now juggling both Earthly issues (for the public is still unaware of those aliens) and issues regarding the discovery of said alien life. Nearly a week ago I had presented my options to both John and Ayumi. After presenting them the options and telling them to discuss it with each-other, I let them be and went back to my office.
It went about as well as I expected it too go. They were arguing both the ethics and morality of all options. If could voice my honest opinion, I'd be sacked from my position. Because to me, morality and ethics can only get us so far.
... And yet, if I was put on the morality and ethics scale, I would be placed between both John and Ayumi, funnily enough. John barely has any morality and ethics on that front, to him, getting the job done is all that matters. If sending boots on the ground in order to hack into those aliens' network was needed, then he'd get it done.
Ayumi meanwhile, wants morality and ethics to guide our every move. I told her that was .... difficult, to put it mildly. Only sending one of our sentient-made animals wouldn't be enough, and I stressed that to her.
After the two of them stopped discussing the options, and getting nowhere on what to do- they waltzed into my office. Wanting me to have the final say. I gave my answer, word for word;
"We'll send a cloaked ship into orbit. A transport for both a Human and a crow companion to go along with him. They'll land somewhere safe, most probable, a forest or wooded area, close to a small village. Then the Human will engage his cloaking armor, and recon the surrounding area. The crow will spot for him from above.
Then they will try to get their hands on one of those aliens their holo-pad and take it back with them to their transport. From there, they'll reenter orbit, and jump back to Earth A.S.A.P.
Once a holo-pad is in our possession, we'll try and break into it. Scan that thing for any information regarding the "Speeple" species, and the species we found on that Frog-looking things' planet."

It's been a week, and the contact with the human and his crow buddy has been minimal. I doubt anything has gone wrong- as I told them to be very discrete about it. I also made sure to put microphones and camera's in their small transport shuttle- just so I could be sure that our "boot-boy" didn't happen to call a friend or family during this special mission. Because if he did... we might have to "deal" with some unfortunate souls.
A few more people had gotten involved over time, but they have all luckily kept quiet about any of this... for now.
The last updated I had received from the duo planet-side, was that they were returning back to Earth, having entered orbit of the Speep-planet a couple minutes ago. They'd be back here in less than a day.
I can only wonder what we will come across once we dissect their network from the holo-pad. Maybe even technologies beyond our comprehension? New medicine recipes to cure some of our oldest diseases? The wonders we might uncover could shake Humanity as a whole!

Around 3 hours ago, the duo returned safely. And that madman actually did it. He returned with a holo-pad. He told me he broke into some poor sods house while his(?)... her(?)... door was open. He walked right into their living room, wearing his cloaked armor, and stole their holo-pad from "right under their noses" ... even thought they don't have any. It sure isn't a holo-pad their government may have- but this will open new doors for us regardless!
For a mission well done, I allowed the guy to keep the crow we send with him on the mission as a pet. Plus a handsome reward to keep him quiet about it to his family and friends. He'd make up a BS excuse about having gotten a modified pet crow for himself. ...Speaking of, I should check up on that research project of making the modified animals talk- I'll note that down later.
I took the holo-pad into my office, hooked it up into my PC (it wasn't difficult at all, if anything, it resembled the plugin systems our older holo-pads had) and called for one of our hacking specialists. I wanted to be there when the holo-pad was broken into.

Both me and our specialist were shocked. Not by what we found- but by the sheer non-existent cyber security of these aliens. We were met with just a login screen- which the hacker bypassed with ease. And we were in... we were in, without even breaking a sweat. It took only 5 seconds, for the program used, to succeed in breaking the login screen*.*
This had to be a fucking joke... such an advanced alien species, with NO cyber-security at all. That program would take hours- maybe even days- to break into a Human holo-pad. And here we were, gazing in what would be a homepage of some-kind, free to do as we wished.
I guess the first order of business was to decipher their language now. It was time to bring in a code-breaker. I sent the device to the Decryption-Unit, and they began looking for repeating patterns of similar symbols.
With the help of some Android workers of the DU's, we managed to decipher a handful of letters. And with those few uncovered letters, a few dozen words were able to be deciphered. It was now only a matter of time before their entire script would be laid bare to us.
... TWO HOURS ... just TWO HOURS to decipher their language. I swear, those Androids can put in work- ... After translating the entire system of the 'pad into English, we began our search over the "internet" they have. One of the IT guys thought we wouldn't be able to use it without a connection to their home system...
As if I didn't think of that?
So I had a hacking-drone smash itself into their Web, stealing some of that sweet connection, while also jamming any traces leading back to Earth. I was given the honors of searching their Web.
Being one for information, I began looking through (now) translated news articles about anything and everything.

2024.05.25 23:56 blueharvestmoon Throttle body codes and a no start

I'm at the end of a month long flyweel and turbo upgrade on my 2011 Jetta TDI. I dropped the engine and in the process I damaged a couple connecters, one of those being the plastic housing on the throttle body. I ordered a replacment throttle body and just swapped the old damaged plastic housing with the new one and replugged the wiring harness. However, I'm still getting the flashing glowplugs and throttle body codes when I try to crank her up. Do I have to replace the entire throttle body? Or could it be a bad ground or fuse? The only other engine codes I'm throwing are MAF and EGR, which need to get replaced. Would appreciate yalls wisdom. (Codes on VCDS are 00849 and 008450).

In recent memory, ACT has made it much more difficult for users to post and share previously released exams (TIR) on this sub. And technically, Rule 4 prohibits document sharing of copyrighted materials, even if those materials are released by ACT to paying customers for a particular test date.
So while we cannot allow the active sharing of such tests on this sub, we believe it is still in the interest of students who are preparing for this exam to know what released materials exist in the world. One of the major benefits of the ACT over the new Digital SAT is the relative consistency of its format and questions and students should know that they have a plethora of materials to work through if they can find them on google or some other means.
In general, it is always better to practice using more recent tests since the specific questions and scoring guidelines are more current than a test from, say, 2014. But that doesn't mean that older tests can't be of value for honing your skills before an exam. My suggestion would just be to not take the specific scales/curves of those tests to heart in the immediate lead-up to your next real exam.
For the last several years, there are typically two released exams from April. The form codes with a Z generally represent the test given to students with multi-day accommodations. In 2024, though, that test (Z13) was the same as the regular exam (G19) which typically is not the norm.

A NOTE ON THE OFFICIAL ACT PREP GUIDE (Red Book): Every year ACT releases a book that contains a number of practice tests, some of which are notated above. They typically refer to these tests using a different form code, though most of the time they are either a repeat of an entire exam that was already released, or they are hybrids made up of sections from different exams.
