Years ago I found a local deli that served a sandwich they called "Dixie Chicken Salad". It was OUTSTANDING!. Then, I went there once and they were closed for good. I have not been able to locate this "Dixie Chicken Salad" sandwich anywhere else or replicate it at home.
It is my sincere hope that someone out there has heard of this and has a recipe to make it.
It's obviously a standard Chicken salad to start, but this had way more additional seasonings and flavors in it. It also had an orange or red color to it, presumably from some cayenne pepper perhaps...???
Anyway, I would be so so happy to be able to have that sandwich in my life again. If ANYONE knows of the recipe or has seen it before please respond here to dm me.

- Same. It’s simple but it’s just so catchy, sung so heartfelt. Also the effects and sound choices are haunting.
- Hi-fi. Again with the “haunting”. Not as much of a brainwork as Same, but really interesting and compelling. Almost a Red Hot Chili Peppers vibe.
- Neon Pill. I love it, still continues to grow on me. I’ve just played this song to death but if it were hearing it for the first time I’d probably put it at 2.
- Rainbow. Very vintage cage, feels it could be on Melophobia. Also catchy. Even if the melody sounds like Right Round by Florida ;)
- Good Time. Almost a bit too weird for me but extremely unique and definitely has a replayability
11: Metaverse. Idk the topic is corny, the melody is kinda catchy but it also sounds like the strokes and Red Hot Chili Peppers. And unlike Hi Fi, which is super cool, I don’t really find much new or interesting about Metaverse.
- Out Loud. It’s not for me. Feels like too much of an “apology song” that doesn’t really feel true to the heart, feels kind of forced, but that’s just my read. I know some people on here love the song, maybe it just hasn’t clicked for me yet.

Ever since I was a young kid, I've loved spicy and pickled things. I used to freak out my old babysitters by getting in the fridge and going to town on jars of pickled jalapenos or banana peppers and drinking the juice. This hasn't changed as I've gotten older; 34 now. I'll typically finish the juice from a jar of hot peppers/pickles/olives before I finish the food. Unrelated; I've finally accepted that my body can't handle gluten and adjusted my diet accordingly, but the one thing that keeps breaking me is chicken wings because they've always been my go-to vector for spiciness. Just wanted to float the question out here in case anyone knows of a gut-related reason that would make someone crave that type of thing. Thanks in advance for any insight.

After seeing Angry Turtle's video on utilizing Herbivore Serums to suppress the negative downsides for the namesake mutation, I noticed that for some reason Seared Venison with Berries benefits somehow from Herbivore Mutation - but only when its negatives are suppressed. My best guess is that Seared Venison has both the Meat and Vegetable flags, so when Herbivore's negatives aren't suppressed, the game sees the "Meat" flag and rightfully excludes its buffs. But when that negative is suppressed, it sees the "Vegetable" flag and doubles its bonus.
This means that with Strange In Numbers active, it gives 8 LCK - or 11 with Live & Love 3/Backwoodsman 6. Getting 25 LCK as a non-Unyielding player is actually pretty easy, relatively - 15 LCK to start, then an additional 5 from Legendary Luck. Add in Herd Mentality + Strange In Numbers - that's +3. Now put on a Shielded Vault Jumpsuit, that's another +2. You're now sitting at 25 LCK - and with Herbivore's negative suppressed, you can eat a Seared Venision w/ Berries for that 8 additional LCK.

So recently on my trip to another state, I was able to get my hands on the recently translated and officially release JoJo 6251 and wanted to go through the entire things character encyclopedia to find anything worth while posting about for those looking for scans/evidence for their scaling. I wanted to see if combining my two favorite healthy foods would be good dr doofenshmirtz style.
The results? Canned salmon + lentil soup = yummy
Canned sardines + lentil soup = not so yummy
The salmon adds a very slight fishiness(in a good way that in no way overpowers the lentil flavor) and adds variety to the texture. It's a bit like chicken except I think it pairs better with the lentils than chicken would.
The sardines aren't as subtle as the salmon and don't add nearly as much texture.
Recipe:
I'm not a very precise cook so I eyeballed pretty much every ingredient, so feel free to adjust things like the salmon to lentil ratio.
I did everything in my stock pot.
I diced up as much veg(carrots, celery, yellow onion) as I cared to do, about a cup and a half. I sweated them for a bit in some olive oil, then added a 6 ounce can of tomato paste and two cloves of garlic. I caramelized the tomato paste a bit, then added about a cup of white wine. Then, I added 7 cups of dried green or brown lentils(a whole bag that I had) and enough water to cover them and then some. Boil until the lentils are done. Season with salt, pepper, herbs, and garlic powder. I first tried a bowl with a bit of the salmon, liked it, tried it with the sardines and didn't like it. I then dumped 4 7.5 oz cans of red salmon(in water) in the main pot, with the water. These cans had the skin and bone, which I prefer and have loads of calcium.

Hi there, I'm new here but figured if anyone can help it'd be y'all. I've been searching for the original Key Lime Pie recipes from a restaurant in Tampa called Hops Restaurant and Bar, and the one from Lums Hot Dogs. They were my grandfather's two favorite pies, and I want to surprise him as a gift. So far I've been getting dead ends on both fronts.
I do know that Hops did change their recipe at some point, and essentially ruined it. So I'm specifically looking for the original. Both restaurants are long-gone so the only way to try them anymore is to track them down.

2024.05.19 04:58 Just4pres Found some cheap lights on Offer Up, got em’ now I think I might have a little overkill going on. My first indoor set up.
 | So I discovered the Kratky method a few months back. Now my backyard is full of buckets, totes, trash cans, barrels and even an IBC for an aquaponics project I want to try. Wifey wasn’t super happy with all the stuff back there but now even less happy that I brought a tent into the guest room. I found these cheap lights on OfferUp and picked them up. $10 each. I got three of them and the dude said he had more in his storage and I told him I’d take them all. lol. Couldn’t find much info on them but seemed like a good deal. Anyways set up a 2x4 and put all three lights in there. Rihaty 2000W. I’ve ran the tent for the first time last night with the lights about 24” from the top of some plants I stuck in there. Couple peppers in a Kratky tote and okra and cucumber in an ebb and flow set up. (First time trying this) but the tent ran super hot. I ran at 70% for 15 hours and the plants look cooked. Cucumber seems ok. But I have a feeling I have too much light for this space. Do I only need one of these lights for this tent? Do I dim them down more? Do I need to get a meter to measure the light? What is the maximum temp the tent should reach? The high got to 114 at some point according to the thermometer. I have no idea but I do know that the tent is hot and the whole room is warm.
