Whenever a cat freaks out, it runs off out of sight. Little do most people know that they actually escape to the cat dimension, which is a dimension that's always just out of sight of all humans and is contiguous with all of spacetime. Cats may travel through it at will, allowing them to go from one point to another seemingly instantly. This subreddit is dedicated to felines (and rarely, other animals) leaving for the cat dimension.

For weeks, I've been using the Mozeeda 5 Pack Safety Glasses for various tasks, and I must say, their features have really stood out.
When I first put them on, I was surprised by their size. They were surprisingly roomy, allowing me to wear them over my regular glasses without any discomfort. The soft nose piece and lightweight design made them comfortable enough for me to wear for extended periods, even during physically demanding tasks.
One of the highlight features for me was the anti-fog technology. After using traditional goggles, I found that these Mozeeda glasses allowed me to see clearly even in foggy conditions. It's a feature I would highly recommend for anyone who needs vision clarity for their work.
The safety glasses also proved to be versatile. I used them in various situations, from gardening to welding, and they performed well each time. They were able to protect my eyes from wind, sand, and flying debris, and their splash-resistant lenses were especially useful in the lab.
However, one downside I noticed was the durability. After a few weeks of use, the lenses started to show signs of wear, and the frames began to scratch easily. Despite these minor issues, the Mozeeda glasses proved to be a valuable addition to my safety gear.
In summary, these Mozeeda 5 Pack Safety Glasses are a practical and comfortable choice for anyone needing protection against various hazards. While they might require some maintenance to keep them in top shape, their versatility makes them a worthwhile investment.

These ToolFreak Rip Out Safety Glasses with Foam Padding are a game changer for anyone in a job that requires protective eyewear. The foam padding is comfortable and secure, making them a reliable option even in adverse weather conditions.
The detachable headstrap allows even more flexibility, so they can be worn in various ways. The case and cloth included for safekeeping are an added bonus. However, one minor drawback is that they might not be suitable for everyone, as some users may find them a bit too snug.
Overall, I highly recommend these Cute Safety Glasses for anyone looking for reliable and adaptable eye protection.

🔗Durable Smoke Safety Glasses with Green Lens for Ultimate Protection

I recently tried the Bouton 249-5907-207 Traditional Safety Glasses, and I must say, they're a game-changer. The smoke frame and green IR 3.0 lenses offer sturdy protection without sacrificing style. The built-in wire mesh side shields gave me a sense of security when working in my workshop, knowing my eyes were well-guarded.
One aspect that stood out was the molded nose bridge design, which felt comfortable and fit my face perfectly. The U-Fit spatula temples were a nice touch, allowing for a custom fit that didn't cause any discomfort throughout the day. Despite a few minor scratches from everyday use, the lenses remained scratch-resistant and clear.
While these glasses are heavy-duty and built to last, I did notice that the side shields could be more robust. A few occasions required me to adjust them so they would clip in properly. All in all, the Bouton 249-5907-207 Traditional Safety Glasses are a solid choice for anyone who wants the perfect blend of style and safety.

I was thrilled to try out these SQIMZAR Safety Glasses Goggles, especially after hearing about them from a friend who uses them at her nursing job. I appreciated the unique side shield design that not only protected my eyes from dust, pollen, and other particles but also kept them from getting irritated by saliva or blue light. The anti-scratch feature was a game-changer, ensuring that my vision stayed clear even after prolonged use.
What really stood out to me was the comfort level. These glasses were lightweight and designed to fit snugly without slipping, making them perfect for a variety of situations – from working in a lab to shooting a ball. And in case you're wondering, yes, they're great for activities like playing video games or watching TV, too.
Of course, no product is perfect, and I did notice that the anti-fog coating wore off over time, but overall, I was impressed with the comfort, protection, and style these glasses offered. If you're looking for stylish and effective safety eyewear, these SQIMZAR goggles are definitely worth considering.

🔗Comfortable Durable Safety Glasses for All

The Bolle Tracker Safety Glasses Twilight are the ultimate combination of style and protection, perfect for any outdoor enthusiast. I discovered these glasses a few weeks ago and they have seriously become a staple in my daily routine. The best part? My entire family can use them too.
From the moment I put them on, I felt the comfort envelop my face. The adjustable head strap meant that not only was I protected, but I was also comfortable all day long. The frame material and eye seal are exceptional when it comes to blocking out dust and other particles.
The 99.99% UVA and UVB light absorption feature is another outstanding highlight of these glasses, keeping my eyes safe even on the brightest days. And let's not forget the anti-fog and anti-scratch coating on both sides – what a game-changer!
Now, while these glasses are perfect in many ways, I did notice that they tend to fog up a bit after long hours of use. However, this doesn't take away from the overall amazing experience I've had with the Bolle Tracker Safety Glasses Twilight. If you're looking for a reliable pair of safety glasses that also fit perfectly and look fantastic, look no further – these are the ones!

🔗Cute Cat Eye Safety Glasses with Clear Anti-Fog Lens

Working in a woodshop as an amateur carpenter, I often found myself squinting through my old worn-out safety glasses that felt more like an accessory than a genuine protective measure. So when I stumbled upon Stoggles' Cat Eye Safety Glasses with Clear Anti-Fog Lens, I couldn't resist giving them a try.
As a first-time user, I was immediately drawn to the unique design that added a retro touch to the safety aspect. The protective barrier provided a sense of security and confidence while working, and the cat eye shape was a nice little detail that made the glasses stand out in a sea of regular safety eyewear.
One feature that truly impressed me was the lens' ability to block blue light. As someone who spends hours in front of computer screens and smartphones, this was a game-changer. My eyes felt less strained, and I appreciated being able to focus on work for extended periods without feeling the need to take breaks as often.
However, there was one downside to using these safety glasses. Although they boasted the ability to block 100% of UV rays, I noticed a very slight yellowish tint when looking at the sun. It wasn't enough to interfere with my work, but it was noticeable nonetheless.
Despite that minor inconvenience, I found the Stoggles Cat Eye Safety Glasses to be comfortable and functional. They stayed in place without any issues and were a breeze to clean. The frames were lightweight and sturdy, and I appreciated the added protection the side and top shields offered.
In conclusion, the Stoggles Cat Eye Safety Glasses with Clear Anti-Fog Lens proved to be a reliable and fashionable choice for someone like me who needed a functional safety eyewear solution without compromising on style. While they weren't perfect, the pros greatly outweighed the cons, making them a worthwhile investment for anyone looking for both style and safety.

🔗Stylish and Comfortable Pink Safety Glasses for Work

The ERB Safety Lucy Girl Power at WorkTM Safety Glasses are a stylish and practical solution for women who need to wear safety eyewear. As a reviewer, I have been using these glasses for a while now, and they have made a significant difference in my daily life.
What sets these safety glasses apart from others is their ultra-lightweight frameless design. The one-piece, hard-coated polycarbonate lens not only offers excellent wraparound protection but also resists scratches perfectly. The 9.5 base curve provides an excellent wraparound structure for side protection, and the integrated nose pad ensures a comfortable, secure fit.
A feature that I particularly appreciate is the IPROTECT style, which makes these safety glasses an excellent choice for ladies who want to look stylish while wearing them. The sunglasses come with a 99% UVA and UVB protection, complying with the ANSI Z87.1 standard for high-impact protection.
Despite the many positive aspects of these safety glasses, there are a few cons. For instance, they do not have an adjustable temple, and they do not come with anti-fog or anti-scratch features. Moreover, the sunglasses have a clear, smoke, and indoooutdoor mirror lens options, and they are only available in a clear and smoke lens color options.
Overall, the ERB Safety Lucy Pink Safety Glasses are a reliable and stylish option for women who need safety eyewear in their daily lives. The combination of comfort, style, and safety features makes these sunglasses a great choice for anyone looking for practical and chic safety eyewear.

🔗Sawfish Camo Safety Glasses - Ultra-Light, Anti-Fog Lens

The glasses are even great for more adventurous activities like fishing or hiking without fogging up or slipping off your face.
However, there's one thing to consider: the size. Though not a deal breaker, they are a bit smaller than expected. Despite this, their durability and affordability make them a great choice for anyone who needs safety glasses without compromising their style.
Overall, the Sawfish Safety Glasses are a fantastic addition to any safety gear collection. They're comfortable, lightweight, and stylish, making them a great companion for any outdoor adventure.

Just the other day, I found myself in need of protective eyewear for a project I was working on. As a craftsman, I knew the importance of keeping my eyes safe from dust, debris, and other hazards. That's when I stumbled across the Titus Retro Style Safety Glasses.
These glasses offered a unique blend of style and function that caught my eye right away. The black impact-resistant ABS frame, UV400 shatterproof polycarbonate lenses, and stainless steel side protection provided the perfect combination of protection and style. I was particularly impressed with the side shields, which easily folded in and out for easy storage. Their unbreakable optical grade polycarbonate lenses resisted glare and scratches, making them a great choice for any task.
What really stood out to me was the Titus Quality. The glasses exceeded ANSI Z87.1 and DOT approval standards, and they even met the CE EN166 standard. The clear matte frame gave them a classic, retro look, making them a great conversation starter.
However, the Titus Retro Style Safety Glasses aren't without their drawbacks. While I loved the side shields, they did create a slight amount of excess wind around my face. The lenses were also a bit darker than I preferred, which took some getting used to.
Overall, I found the Titus Retro Style Safety Glasses to be a great investment. They provided the perfect balance of style, function, and protection, making them a great choice for any project. Despite the minor drawbacks, I can confidently say that these glasses exceeded my expectations and delivered a high-quality solution for keeping my eyes safe.

🔗Sleek and Attractive Square Visor Safety Glasses with Comfort and Style

Recently, I stumbled upon the Buzz Safety Clear Bomber glasses and decided to give them a try. These safety glasses are not only functional, but they also have a distinct style that makes them stand out. With a matte black frame and clear safety lens, the gray foam lining adds a touch of sophistication.
One of the features that I appreciated the most was the removable side shields. They provided me with an extra layer of protection when needed, and I could easily take them off when not necessary. The 100% UVA and UVB protection was another highlight, ensuring that my eyes were well-shielded from the sun's harsh rays.
However, I did notice that the ANSI Z87+ safety standards were only met when the side shields were worn. This could be a downside for some users, as it may limit the versatility of the glasses.
Overall, I found the Buzz Safety Clear Bomber glasses to be a comfortable and stylish addition to my safety gear collection. Their unique design and added protection make them a worthy consideration for anyone looking to upgrade their safety glasses.

With an ultra-light, full-frame design, these spectacles feature chiseled lines and sleek curves that are sure to catch the eye. The inset TPR on the nose bridge and temple ends provide a versatile touch, making them adaptable to any environment. These glasses also come equipped with Performance Fog Technology, a permanent coating that prevents the formation of condensation on the lenses by absorbing the humidity drops. The Sawfish safety glasses meet ANSI/ISEA Z87.1-2020 Standards and offer 12% visual light transmission. The frames themselves are available in a Tortoise/Black colorway and a full-frame style.
According to the reviews, users find these glasses to be comfortable and lightweight, with several users wearing them as regular sunglasses. The wraparound nylon frame combined with the soft rubber nose pad and padded rubber temples made them comfortable to wear, even under my hard hat. I appreciated the ANSI Z87.1 Impact certification, which gave me peace of mind knowing that they provided reliable protection.

The full-rim frame provided a secure fit and protection from dust and debris, while the polycarbonate lenses offered impact resistance and UV protection. The transparent, tinted lenses reduced glare and enhanced visibility, making them suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
One thing that stood out in my experience was the unisex design, which meant these glasses were available for men and women. Despite being lightweight, they were sturdy and felt well-made. I also appreciated the scratch-resistant coating on the lenses, which made them ideal for all-day wear.
However, there were a few drawbacks to these glasses. They didn't accommodate eyeglasses, which might be an issue for some users. 🔗Automatic Resetting Airgun Target for Stress-Free Shooting Practice

https://preview.redd.it/wavafe7k6p2d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7ebcd005b72837bec1405aa4b0bcd3ddd3495ae0
The Birchwood Casey Airgun Gallery Resetting Target proved to be a reliable and durable accessory for my airgun. With its high-quality steel construction, the target remained sturdy even after countless lead pellet impacts. The innovative spin design of the target made it easy to use, as it automatically reset itself after each shot, saving me time and eliminating the hassle of manually resetting it.
One feature that stood out to me was the compact and portable design of the target. The lightweight construction and easy storage made it convenient to use in a variety of settings, making it perfect for airgun enthusiasts who enjoy practicing their skills outdoors or at a range.
However, one downside I experienced with the target was that it was designed specifically for lead pellets. This meant that attempting to use the target with anything else, such as 22 rimfire bullets, was not recommended due to potential damage to the target.
Overall, the Birchwood Casey Airgun Gallery Resetting Target provided a fun and effective way for me to practice my airgun shooting skills, thanks to its innovative features and reliable construction.

🔗Daisy NRA 5-Meter BB Targets for Enhanced Marksmanship and Championship Performance

I recently started practicing with a Daisy Air Rifle and noticed that improving my marksmanship was a key factor in mastering the sport. That's when I stumbled upon these official Daisy NRA 5-Meter BB Targets. They proved to be an essential addition to my training routine.
One striking feature was the precision and accuracy these targets provided. Perfect for honing my shooting skills, they're designed to help me feel confident, making my practice more productive. Another aspect I found fascinating was their bullseye illustration, which made targeting a breeze.
Additionally, their hanging mount proved quite practical as I could easily set them up for each session. What's more, each pack includes 50 targets, which, let's be honest, was more than I ever expected. This feature helped keep my training consistent and enjoyable.
Despite their excellent features, a drawback I discovered was that the targets weren't auto-resetting. It meant I needed to manually reset them between shots, which, while not detrimental, felt like an unnecessary extra step.
All in all, I found great value in the Daisy NRA 5-Meter BB Targets. They were reasonably priced, easy to order, and arrived promptly. Plus, their high rating speaks to their overall customer satisfaction. If you're looking to up your accuracy game, I'd give these targets a shot.

🔗Daisy Red Ryder Starter Kit - Pump BB Gun Accessories

https://preview.redd.it/x0mkax0l6p2d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4d2d86f16dc0ffba57edea3f6807fe10260d300f
The Daisy Red Ryder Starter Kit has been a game-changer in my household. It arrived at just the right time to complement my daughter's Red Ryder BB gun.
This kit has everything you could possibly need to kickstart a shooting adventure, including a durable gun sleeve, a tin of 25 assorted Red Ryder shooting gallery targets, and high-quality shooting glasses. The shooting glasses fit my daughter perfectly and she loves wearing them as they add a touch of coolness and safety to her shooting experience. The tin of BBs is conveniently designed and holds enough ammunition to keep the fun going for a while.
The targets, while simple, are perfect for honing her aim and precision. Overall, the Daisy Red Ryder Starter Kit has been an excellent investment, and I highly recommend it to any parent looking for a safe, fun, and affordable way to introduce their child to the thrill of target shooting.

🔗Daisy Red Ryder BB Gun Fun Shooting Kit

I recently tried the Daisy Red Ryder Fun Kit myself and had quite the adventure. Firstly, the set truly comes with everything you need for an exciting shooting experience. However, I must say, it took me a while to get used to it.
One of the key features of this kit is the renowned Red Ryder BB gun. It's smooth and easy to hold, but the accuracy was quite disappointing. I found myself missing targets more often than I would have liked. On the bright side, at least I could appreciate the classic design of the gun.
To enhance the shooting experience, the kit also comes with shooting glasses and a tin of BBs. I must admit, the glasses were convenient and provided some protection while I was busy aiming at targets. The BBs, however, seemed like a cheap alternative and didn't always penetrate the targets.
The fun paper targets provided were a nice touch, but the distance limitations of the gun took away some of the enjoyment. I had to be extremely close to hit the targets, and even then, it wasn't always accurate.
Overall, while the Daisy Red Ryder Fun Kit is a decent option for a beginner's shooting experience, I wouldn't recommend it for someone looking for better accuracy or quality. But if you're looking for an affordable and simple way to introduce a young one to the world of BB guns, it might just do the trick.

🔗Advanced Decelerator Rifle Cheek Pad for Enhanced Shooting Control

https://preview.redd.it/oxvfncvl6p2d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8103fea27ffc805de488a1d0b4ee8bc7aacafbb0
As an avid hunter, I had been searching for a recoil pad that offered both advanced control and easy installation. When I stumbled upon the Pachmayr Decelerator Slip-On Pad, I was excited to give it a try. Upon receiving the pad, I was impressed by its sleek design and the attention to detail in its construction. The installation process was a breeze, and I was thrilled to see how seamlessly it fitted onto my rifle.
One of the standout features of the Decelerator Slip-On Pad was its unique speed mount insert. This innovative design not only enhanced the pad's appearance but also improved its performance. I noticed a significant decrease in felt recoil, which made my shooting experience more comfortable and enjoyable. Furthermore, the pad's non-slip and snag-free design was perfect for my active hunting lifestyle.
However, there were a couple of minor drawbacks that I encountered. Firstly, the pad did add an inch to the overall length of my rifle, which could be a concern for some hunters. Secondly, while the pad was available in three sizes, I wished there were even more options to cater to a wider range of firearms.
In summary, the Pachmayr Decelerator Slip-On Pad has become an invaluable addition to my hunting gear. Its combination of advanced recoil control, sleek design, and easy installation makes it a worthwhile investment for any serious sportsman. Despite the minor drawbacks, I am confident that this pad will continue to perform exceptionally well during my hunting expeditions.

🔗Car Vinyl Wrap Film for Remarkable Personalized Looks

https://preview.redd.it/q00vf2cm6p2d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2142107320bdb54a7fd20b7d186d0e1d08fc680e
Recently, I tried out the Vicrez vzv10121-3 Vinyl Car Wrap Film in Matte Black Iron for a DIY project. The 5ft x 3ft wrap was easy to work with and came with a vast selection of colors, patterns, and finishes to choose from. Although it does require some basic installation knowledge, the wraps are simple to apply and can easily be removed without damaging the car's paint.
One of the standout features of this wrap is its air release technology, which makes for a smooth and effortless installation process. Additionally, the realistic car paint look provides an enhanced appearance for a fraction of what a traditional paint job would cost. The material is also incredibly durable, with a lifespan of 4-6 years for exterior applications and 8+ years for interior use.
However, the matte black color of my chosen wrap did prove somewhat challenging to work with at times. Also, the installation process can be tricky if you don't have experience with vinyl wraps, so it's definitely worth having some knowledge beforehand. Overall, the Vicrez Vinyl Wrap offers a stylish and functional solution for adding a personalized touch to your car or any other surface it can be applied to.

🔗Flexzilla Quiet-Flo Safety Nozzle for Modular Accessories System

https://preview.redd.it/y1jumvpm6p2d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=429e0bad91afc0854531f081690d2e9e3c3c1b80
I recently had the chance to try out the Quiet-Flo Safety Nozzle from Flexzilla, and I have to say, it exceeded my expectations! The modular accessories system made it incredibly easy to customize the length of my extension and the tips for any job I tackled. It also met OSHA standards for professional use, giving me peace of mind as I worked.
The nozzle was perfect for my mechanics and automotive workshop, and it genuinely made my Flexzilla blow gun even better. While the nozzle was quite sturdy and held up well under pressure, it seemed a bit more challenging to twist and bend than I would have liked. Still, that minor inconvenience didn't stop me from enjoying the countless benefits of this nifty little safety nozzle. This product truly lives up to its 5.0 rating and is definitely worth trying out.

🔗Improve Accuracy with the Daisy Red Ryder Shooting Gallery Accessory

https://preview.redd.it/ezgqa41n6p2d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=fb673850a598aae5a75b4405eccfa371bf21becd
Last week, I stumbled upon the Daisy Red Ryder Shooting Gallery while hunting for some new gear for my daughter's Red Ryder BB gun. As a parent, I thought this would be an excellent way to improve her shooting accuracy and provide hours of indoor fun for the whole family. With 25 assorted targets included, I was excited to give it a try.
The moment I opened the box, I was impressed by the simplicity of the design. It's just a small box with a rubber backing, and the targets easily punch out and attach to the front. The bottom trap efficiently collects the BBs, making it easy to reuse them for future sessions. Additionally, the rubber backing effectively stops BBs up to 350 fps, making it safe for indoor use.
However, there were some challenges I encountered during my experience. As a parent, I worried about the box being sturdy enough to withstand the force of the BBs. Although the included weight helped keep it steady, I still had to place it on a flat surface to prevent it from blowing over.
Additionally, I noticed that the product did not live up to the expectations set by the product images. The images show a gun carrying case and more accessories than what was delivered. While this was not a deal-breaker for me, it made me wonder if other customers had similar experiences.
Overall, the Daisy Red Ryder Shooting Gallery proved to be a fun and convenient way to practice our shooting skills, despite the lack of sturdiness and some unexpected differences from the advertised images.

🔗Stainless Steel PCP Charging System for Air Rifles

https://preview.redd.it/c0wlatro6p2d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ca3f2b9cf91ce439b8472bcd2b9e430ab28aa2cf
As a reviewer, I have to say the Benjamin PCP Charging System is quite the handy device for PCP air rifle users. When I first received it, I was amazed at how lightweight it was, making it incredibly convenient for carrying around. One nifty feature that caught my attention was the built-in pressure gauge that allowed for precise filling.
The system's construction has been quite impressive as it is made from carbon fiber, which prevents corrosion. It is also quite durable, offering peace of mind during long periods of use. However, there was a minor downside – the micro bore hose seemed a bit too short, making it a bit challenging to fill my PCP air rifle.
The inclusion of a stainless steel fill connection was another plus, as it ensured long-lasting use without any significant problems. The tank also filled quite quickly with my hand pump, providing great convenience and efficiency.
Overall, the Benjamin PCP Charging System has exceeded my expectations, offering a perfect balance between convenience, portability, and performance. I particularly appreciate how it has made refilling my PCP air rifle much faster and more enjoyable, making it a must-have accessory for any PCP air rifle enthusiast.

🔗Revel 1TR1AA002R VLS 52mm Water Temperature Gauge with OLED Display and Sensor

https://preview.redd.it/ur6cyp0p6p2d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b8f827a1e57e46e74f641b0c7934190d6dd32492
I remember using the Revel VLS 52mm Water Temp Gauge on my air rifle just last season. The gauge is quite compact, making it perfect for small space mounting, like underneath my scope. The display is simply brilliant - it's digital OLED, which offers a deeper black and sharper contrast, delivering a crystal clear image that's easily readable even from a distance.
One of the cool features was its 30 LED outer ring. When I'm taking aim in low light conditions, it gave me the perfect level of visibility. Plus, its daisy chain compatibility made it so easy to attach multiple gauges without needing several power cords.
The included water temp sensor is another key feature. It helps me to monitor the engine's temperature even when I'm out in the field, ensuring everything runs smoothly. The mounting kit that comes with the gauge makes installation a breeze.
However, nothing's perfect, right? I did notice the water temp gauge tends to be a bit sensitive to vibrations if I'm not careful with handling it. Overall, though, it's a reliable and efficient little gauge that's made a big difference in my shooting session, and I highly recommend it.

🔗Stylish Vinyl Car Wrap Film for an Enhanced Look

I recently bought the Vicrez magnetic fluorescent green car wrap for my truck, and I must say, I am impressed. It took a little bit of effort to apply it properly, but the air bubble release feature made it a lot simpler than I had anticipated. The wrap itself has a fantastic chameleon finish, which makes my truck look absolutely stunning.
One of the things I appreciate the most about this wrap is its removability. I can easily take it off at any time without damaging the original paint on my truck. It's reassuring to know that my vehicle's resale value remains intact.
The stretchability is another remarkable feature. It can stretch up to 300%, which makes the application process even more effortless. I was particularly thrilled when I found out that this wrap can be applied to complex curves, simple curves, flat surfaces, and even some compound, convex, and concave curves.
The only downside was the learning curve - it took some time to get the hang of applying the wrap without messing it up. But once I got the hang of it, the results were impressive. Overall, the Vicrez magnetic fluorescent green car wrap is a fantastic product that I highly recommend.

I recently had the opportunity to try out the Vicrez Vinyl Car Wrap Film in Chrome Satin Red, and I must say, I was quite impressed with the results! The installation process was a breeze with the help of the air release technology, and the vinyl was easy to work with, even for a novice like me.
One of the top features of this wrap is its realistic car paint look, which gives your vehicle a whole new dimension. It's also highly restorable, allowing for a quick fix if any wrinkles show up during installation. The vinyl is removable too, without damaging your car's paint, so you can switch up the look when you feel like it.
However, it's essential to note that the wrap isn't as easy to reposition once applied, so make sure you have your design in mind before finalizing the installation. The film is also quite thick at 6.4 mil, which adds to the durability but might make it a bit more challenging to apply in tight spaces.
Overall, I had a great experience using this wrap and would highly recommend it for anyone looking to give their car a unique, stylish makeover without breaking the bank. Plus, the wide variety of colors, textures, and finishes available ensures that you'll find the perfect fit for your vehicle.

The 4500psi Airrifle Air Gas Filling Pump is a sturdy and durable device that has saved me a lot of time and effort when it comes to air rifle maintenance. The high-pressure hand pump's built-in oil-water separator and ergonomic handle make it comfortable to use, while the foldable design allows for easy storage and transportation.
One of the most notable features of this pump is its precise pressure gauge. It provides easy-to-read parameters and ensures that I fill my PCP cylinders safely and accurately. Additionally, the complete accessory kit comes with O-rings and tools suitable for most PCP pistols, rifles, and air guns, making it a versatile option for various applications.
However, I did encounter a minor issue with its 301 stainless steel construction, as it required extra force to operate at higher pressure levels. This could be a potential concern for users with limited upper body strength.
Overall, I'm quite satisfied with the performance of this 4500psi Airrifle Air Gas Filling Pump. It's a cost-effective and efficient option for anyone looking to maintain their air rifle with ease.

2024.05.26 06:20 pinpricksinvelvet The Skylar white treatment?

I was born in a small pocket of a big city up north. Single mom and couple siblings, lived with my grandparents most of my life. We didn’t have much and what we did we had by the skin of our teeth really.
I worked really hard, got into a good school, graduated, did an internship and made it out of my hometown! Thrilling!
And then I met my partner. He was like nobody I’d ever met. Audacious in most ways and then he’d surprise me with shyness. Bold and friendly, always making conversation.
We’d had really similar upbringings and had taken total different paths and still found each other. That’s pretty cool!
When we started dating, my mom flipped out. I was in my mid twenties, like fully out of the house, off the insurance type deal. She voluntarily and unexpectedly went no contact with me for two years from a picture. It was painful. But my partner put on a brave face, and he waited it out. Which was another surprise, for me and my mom. He and I drove up and he shook her hand on her property, and they immediately hit it off.
We laughed that day, about how much time she wasted. Look what you’ve been missing!!! He went above and beyond for me in ways people hadn’t before, and that was never lost on me. And I had actually had so much fun. Her loss!
At least now we could play catch up: I was going to be home with him on and off all year for a slew of weddings and accompanying events. You know, as one does when your childhood friends all settle down in the same summer 😀 what could possibly go wrong?
We made it to the first wedding. September. A great time! Someone broke their leg dancing and the dj played them off to evacuate the dance floor? I cannot make this shit up, but these kids share catholic school trauma and we cope with humor. Largely. Usually? I’ll get back to that. My partner and I spent a bit more time with my family, then packed up and drove home. We had just started vending at markets locally and had booked a steampunk event, hoping to find a crossover audience for our art. Neither of us is particularly into steampunk? At all. But he, in particular, fucking hated steampunk. (Seems so extraneous but I swear, this will be important later.)
We were slotted to be back in a few months for the next. And we’d see my family! My aging grandmother, who raised me. My aging dog! Sweet boy! Everything’s okay! I just got the job I’ve been vying for since my move (it’s a glorified carny role and I couldn’t be happier) things are looking up!
On a Friday, I had a panic attack after work. Which, with this new exciting job, was around 3 am. I came home, woke him up, sweaty and crying and stressed out and asked him to wash my hair? Which I had never done. I guess I was just really tired. And he said no, because he had to be up early for a get together with some friends. I cried though about all my fears. My grandma my dog my teeth and he talked me down, like no one else had ever bothered to.
We went to bed late, and I think as a kindness, he left without saying goodbye. I had to work that day, it’s why I wasn’t going along with him.
Then a few hours later, he just died. I say that, not to be crude, just because that’s my concept of how it went.
Communication was so poorly handled by everyone involved and it was so devastating, in retrospect. Genuinely removed my agency from the situation entirely from go. For example, I got the call from family about six hours after the fact, and they had only just received a knock at the door so off to a great start. I got DMs, actually, from people I hardly knew, asking what was going on. And I was like?? You tell me ? You know more than I do if you’re even reaching out, because at this point I haven’t heard from anyone who was at the scene. I had to request a number through Instagram, despite my number— and his mothers— being readily available to them by way of a well-known emergency contact card. Neither of us contacted directly, but people found out through ig somehow. Has never sat right with me. Felt so violating because basically everyone in a 30 mile radius knew what was going on before I was processing that it had happened.
And I knew he died the second I answered the phone. “Are you sitting down?” was a patronizing enough cold open, and the bullshit I was fed about a search was pretty transparent. The circumstances made thing cut and dry, he must be dead. So that’s that.
And he was, but they wouldn’t tell us officially till noon the next day. They found him with sonar 👍 something I wish I didn’t know. Idk why, I just don’t like it much. So impersonal. Not him.
This is where things get complicated and deeply uncomfortable for me. At this point, I’d experienced a lot of devastating loss in my immediate household as a kid. I grew up with disease and morbidity as a constant but not in a weird way? Think Addams? We used to call my grandma morticia, literally. My grandpa was paralyzed from the waist down. TWICE! Because he was drafted after healing his initial spinal cord injury from an auto accident. My family all lived on the same block and my grandfather watched all of us growing up. Which means all of us, at varying ages, watched one of the cousins wither and pass from cancer at 5. My grandma lost the use of her right arm but still had it, limp and swollen. She realearned pretty much everything on her left. We are nothing if not resilient!
And from childhood, I was well accustomed with saying goodbye to people I loved. I didn’t expect people in my life to treat me so differently after this specific death.
And goddamn it I’ve been to my fair share of funerals, if I could do anything for my partner as young widow with Roman Catholic roots, it’s to throw a decent and respectable funerals. With heavy food and good sweets, the butter cookies to distract the kids. And my partner loves funerals— in theory. He collected funereal antiques and oddities (I mean who doesn’t in 2024 am I right? /j?) we have matching his and hers model vaults, they’re out on the porch right now.
They told me to bring pictures. I’m a fine artist and he was self trained, so we had a lot of material and I came stacked to plan with them.
But it was already done. I was sitting his parents and siblings, and his least favorite aunt. I hardly ever saw her, red flag immediately. She is not particularly friendly to me, but she’s smiling. The only one lol.
Tell me why this lady was in charge of decorating, and was so excited about the WAIT FOR IT STEAMPUNK DECOR she picked up at fucking party city for a 35 year old man’s FUNERAL! A man who, in life, vehemently hated steampunk. And I laughed! Hard, because it was genuinely so funny. It is still so funny. Like, even my partner would find that hilarious kinda just by circumstance lol like in retrospect it’s kinda giving camp no? A funeral at the local teamsters hall with generic deli subs, and that aunt taking pictures with friends in the sorority pose for some reason.
This did set a devastating trend of completely bypassing me in any conversation, despite my partner and I sharing a home and bills for years prior to his death. We are not in a common law state and we hadn’t updated our information to reflect otherwise.
I didn’t communicate with the funeral home, I found out after the fact that they made the arrangements without me. The request was that we would receive back one lock of his hair, and his whole beard and his dentures (long story). While we did get the teeth, we only got back a (1) lock of his beard to share 😃 and he was cremated 😃 so that was a fun conversation, again, after the fact.
The GFM, the meal train, the life insurance all went across the street to his family’s house, where it largely stayed for almost whole the first year. Just long enough to burn all of my savings paying all the rent on a lease we signed a month before he died. Coupled with the economy, I’m setback so far on so many levels I feel like genuinely hope it’s but finances are the worst. I was getting regular eviction notices despite constant communication with my complex’s office about the situation, and I was never even technically late on my rent— by contract tenants have til the fourth and I never paid later than hat. Anyway it affected me like mental warfare and now I have crippling anxiety about housing.
His mom did help me, I think on the DL and only after they had remodeled their kitchen and gotten a new puppy. I was able to scrape by and get out, now I’m thriving in a studio with two cats in tow. A great look for a single woman in her thirties! I actually love the studio, and it puts me closer to the city, which I know is better for me opportunity wise (and boy howdy could I use an opportunity lol)
It also puts closer to the people who saw what happened and never had the good sense to tell me like I was a person. These were mostly old buddies, a decent handful of them and I didn’t know them well because my partner just didn’t really run in that circle anymore I guess. But they are all pretty well known in town. And within a few weeks of his death, it got back to me that my name was circling in the zeitgeist.
Over the past few years, it has been proven to me that these people have connections in every avenue of interest, even my profession. That sounds crazy maybe but it is true, mainly because I’m a transplant on their turf. But I moved here for the job? Which I wanted long before I met my partner. Why should I feel pushed out of an arena I fought so hard to play in? It’s been very isolating— I avoid most of the things I used to love because I cannot avoid an awkward run in. Conventions, themed events, even places we like to shop.
Anyway these are the basics but my phone is lagging so bad I almost can’t functionally type so I’m calling it for now... I hope this doesn’t sound too gruff, I’m just trying to live it as it comes. May add some context or anecdotes later. It’s been a wild couple of years and the people I thought would care just don’t seem to. So I appreciate anyone with the wherewithal to read this mess. Thanks.

2024.05.26 04:59 afrah33 Cat doesn’t play enough

Hi,
My cat is not much overweight yet but i’m afraid he is going to be in the future as he definitely does not play enough. for context he is pretty much a ragdoll, he’s 1.5 years old, and he weights about 14 lbs. i try so many types of toys and i know his style of play, but he still doesn’t play much at all. he does not run much either. do you guys have any suggestions of toys etc to buy that will get him to play. he loves stick toys and i bought him the turkey flyer one which he used to play with a lot but he doesn’t play with that one either anymore. Please help, i read online they need about 30 mins of exercise a day and i think he probably gets like 10.

2024.05.26 04:40 JudgeGusBus Older cat can’t keep weight on, NOT hyper thyroidism.

Not my cat, but my close friends’ (they aren’t on Reddit). They have a Bengal cat who is appx 12 years old; his exact age is not known, but they have had him for 7-8 years. He is a perfectly normal cat size. Over the last year, year and a half, he has gone from 20+ pounds to about 7 pounds, to the point you can actively feel his bones all over. He is hungry all the time and even when fed extra does not put back on any weight
He lives with two other cats, with dry food available at any time. He is the only one who gets wet food (due to concerns about his weight). He gets two cans of fancy feast a day. The other two live off the always-available dry food, and one is slightly chubby, while the other is straight up obese. Yet, within hours of eating, the Bengal is begging for more food, and sometimes will just yowl all night. Clean water is always available. They all have full-time access to a screened-in patio area. One weird thing is, if we mix dry food in with his wet food he will eat all of it, but as best we can tell otherwise will not touch the dry food on its own. That’s hard to police though since they have 24/7 access to dry food.
The vet’s first suspect was hyperthyroidism, but testing ruled that out. All their proposed future testing, such as testing for a tumor, is VERY expensive, in the thousands of dollars. Neither this family, nor I, have that kind of money.
My immediate suspect was a tapeworm, so I searched online. But nothing in the droppings indicated worms (admittedly he shares the same litterbox with the other two cats), and he never seems to lick his b-hole or drag his bottom. So the major worm indicators aren’t there.
Anybody have any other ideas or thoughts we could investigate? I feel like we must be missing something. And I have full faith in veterinarians, but neither my friends nor I have a spare few-thousand dollars for tumor testing. Appreciate any insight!
Edit: I forgot to add one thing. He pees all over the house, but always in the same place, even if the kitty litter is completely clean. The other two cats don’t do this.

2024.05.26 04:35 Difficult_Menu6634 Anyone else having chronically terrible luck?

Okay okay, I know that complaining to anon 20 and 30 somethings/strangers online is worn out and total trope, but I genuinely need to know what you all think. Am I cursed? Am I supposed to off myself? What the F*** is this?
So, just to summarize, within the past year I’ve been in a car wreck in which I ripped off 50 feet of highway railing, proceeded by various surgeries and a TBI. A few months later I was sent to the ER for emergency intestinal surgery, which ended up being unnecessary because the surgeon misdiagnosed me. I got THREE eye infections, my cat died, my fiancée and I broke up multiple times, and just about two months ago I ended up comatose in the hospital for four days and woke up ONE day before they unplugged me. I dropped out of college and had to give my new cat away as a result of this. My parents disowned me and told me that raising me was the “most fruitless, futile waste of time they have ever undertaken”; my new old beater car took a shit and I spent the entirety of my life savings fixing it. Soon after, I got kicked out of my most recent living accommodations with distant relatives after being told on a daily basis that they didn’t actually expect me to take them up on their offer, and having me there was a “big ass deal” and that me using the guest room “was a burden because they couldn’t use that room anymore” and asked me to leave all of my belongings in my car. Now I’m literally homeless, and struggling to apply for the cheapest apartments I can find because my potential roommates bailed and my acceptance letter from my new job isn’t sufficient enough for any of my leasing applications.
I’m really not asking for platitudes or sympathy, but any advice or just general complaints about your own problems would be super welcome. I’m just wondering, is this really terrible luck or am I just a privileged weak ass piece of shit who can’t handle the generic trials and tribulations of being alive?
If anyone else is having an equally desolate time, commiserate below and drop your shit. I got you.

2024.05.26 03:57 Lizlazxy Cheap/Free rescue cat transport?

I recently saw a post from my hometown’s facebook page showing a found cat. She looks like a manx, just like my current cat Bingus. I found him in the same area, and they are around the same age. I also know the owner of Bingus’ mom, who told me that his litter mates and him were born in the desert near my house, after her pregnant cat ran away. She looks a lot like the picture I have of the dad of the litter, but has the mom’s body shape and fur length.
I’m convinced this is my cat’s sister, and I am really hoping to take her home. The lady who found her seems happy to give her to me. The issue is, I’ve moved from AZ to CO, and I cannot afford hundreds of dollars to transport her through many of the websites I’ve seen online. I have already contacted a few non profits, and I hope to hear back from them.
I need a place for her to stay until she’s transported as well, as the lady who found her doesn’t seem happy about having a cat in the house at all, and is trying to get rid of her asap. I’m looking into temp fosters, but any guidance would be amazing, as I’m really worried I may not be able to find her a place in time :( She doesn’t seems to care where the cat goes, and I’d love her to have a safe home. Especially when she’s unspayed and a somewhat rare breed :( I absolutely plan on getting her spayed and her shots, I just need her to be here or have a foster to take her to the appointments!!
TL;DR I found my cat’s littermate on facebook in my hometown, but I’m 800 miles away now. I need advice on finding a temp foster, and maybe transportation.

2024.05.26 03:53 bloopbloopbloop10063 Children’s book series about a chaotic witch

Cannot remember the name of a series about a chaotic witch, I can’t find it online and I don’t think it’s Winnie the Witch and definitely not The Worst Witch. Features a female name character (maybe in title) who is chaotic and haphazard and has a cat, The book I remember best she decides to join a dance class and has a problem with her shoes throughout. I think she also has some witch friends too who don’t understand why she wants to do human things. Would love to read again!

2024.05.26 03:52 RockinCasios Logjam Presents Specifically Cited In LiveNation Monopoly Lawsuit By DoJ

Use 12ft.io to avoid Missoulians BS paywall
https://missoulian.com/news/local/logjam-wilma-kettlehouse-amphitheater-live-music-ticketmaster-lawsuit-trial/article_e40b65b4-19f0-11ef-a96f-93d1b9cb0820.html
"Afederal lawsuit accusing the biggest concert ticket dealer in the nation of unfairly charging customers and squashing competition has included Missoula's KettleHouse Amphitheater as evidence of the problem.
The U.S. Department of Justice’s lawsuit against Live Nation and its subsidiary Ticketmaster claims they’ve built a monopoly that stifles innovation and competition while raising costs for concertgoers and aggressively expanding their territory. Among the examples of the latter, it cites their investment in a “majority stake” of Missoula-based promoter Logjam Presents and its subsequent change in ticketing services at KettleHouse Amphitheater.
The civil antitrust suit, announced on Thursday, ultimately seeks a breakup of Live Nation-Ticketmaster through a jury trial. Attorneys general from 29 states, not including Montana, have joined the lawsuit.
“The live music industry in America is broken because Live Nation-Ticketmaster has an illegal monopoly,” said Assistant Attorney General Jonathan Kanter of the Justice Department’s Antitrust Division in a news release. “Our antitrust lawsuit seeks to break up Live Nation-Ticketmaster’s monopoly and restore competition for the benefit of fans and artists.”
According to the 128-page complaint, Live Nation has direct management control of more than 400 music performers and controls about 60% of major concert venue promotion in the United States. It also owns or controls more than 265 venues and festivals, such as Tennessee's Bonnaroo.
Since it acquired Ticketmaster in 2010, Live Nation gained control of more than 70% of ticket sales at major concert stages. "No other rival ticketed more than 14%," the complaint stated.
The complaint lists examples of how Live Nation sought to “protect and expand” its footprint in smaller regional markets, including the 2023 purchase of a “majority stake” in Logjam Presents, the Missoula-based entertainment company that runs high-profile local venues KettleHouse Amphitheater, the Wilma and the Top Hat Lounge.
Logjam Presents has not yet responded to a request for comment.
Control of ticket sales The DOJ’s complaint alludes to the importance of geographic areas that were once written off as secondary markets suitable for tour stops between major cities.
“Live Nation has recognized that one of its ‘Biggest Competitor Threats’ is smaller and regional independent promoters that have the ability to ‘com(e) in from the edges creating events, opening venues, and purchasing inventory,’ ” it says, citing internal company documents.
“To address this disruptive potential, Live Nation pursued an aggressive plan to acquire or co-opt key independent promoters, even when the economics of a particular deal did not make sense for its promotion business,” the complaint says.
It lists examples from around the country, including the deal with Logjam, which began as an independent entertainment company and now owns the Top Hat, the Wilma and the KettleHouse Amphitheater.
After a small opening season in 2017, the riverside amphitheater in Bonner quickly grew into the most prominent in the state, with a listed capacity of 4,250 and more than 30 concerts booked for 2024, its first full run after the formation of a partnership with Live Nation.
Logjam also expanded into Bozeman with a scratch-built and designed venue, the Elm, and exclusive promotion at a small club, the Rialto.
The DOJ’s brief section on Logjam focuses on the ticketing service it contracts with and states a degree of ownership previously unreported.
Last year, when Logjam’s deal with Live Nation was made public, the local company described it as a multi-year deal in which control of venues would remain with its founders, Nick and Robin Checota, while allowing access to tours from Live Nation, which was already booking concerts in the city and region. At the time of the deal’s announcement, Logjam said all ticket prices and fees would be decided locally.
The Wilma and Top Hat are separately owned entities of Logjam's that are not part of the agreement with Live Nation.
“In 2023, Live Nation acquired a majority stake in Logjam Presents, the leading promoter and venue operator in Montana. Prior to the acquisition, the Logjam Presents venues used a competing primary ticketing service provider,” referring to the eTix platform.
“As with previous acquisitions, Live Nation switched Logjam venues from the competing primary ticketing service provider to Ticketmaster once its ticketing agreement expired.”
Nationwide influence Other regional acquisitions included Frank Productions, which Live Nation took over in 2018. Frank Productions owned four clubs and venues in Wisconsin. That same year, it bought Red Mountain Entertainment, which was a regional promoter in Alabama and Mississippi. "As Red Mountain grew, Live Nation unleashed what it called a 'velvet hammer' by warning that it would cut off 'the content flow on artist(s)' to Red Mountain venues if Red Mountain continued to compete as a promoter," the complaint noted.
Regional promotor ScoreMore Shows in Texas was identified as a "competitor threat" in 2017, resulting in Live Nation taking a majority stake in its operations.
The complaint also lists AC Entertainment, which promoted more than 1,000 shows a year in North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee, including the Bonnaroo Music Festival, as falling under Live Nation's influence.
In response to the DOJ complaint, Live Nation posted a lengthy rebuttal on its website, arguing that “primary ticketing companies like Ticketmaster do not set ticket prices. Tickets are generally priced by artists and teams. It’s their show, and they should determine the price of their tickets.” They also claim that “most fees go back to the venue.”
The posting goes on, claiming the lawsuit “ignores everything that is actually responsible for higher ticket prices, from increasing production costs to artist popularity, to 24/7 online ticket scalping that reveals the public’s willingness to pay far more than primary tickets cost.”
Controversy over Live Nation and Ticketmaster goes back decades. In 1994, Pearl Jam announced a boycott of Ticketmaster, accusing it of pressuring other promoters to ignore the band's tour because it wasn't using the ticketing service.
Pearl Jam's beef with Ticketmaster started after the band discovered the promoter was adding fees and service charges to charity benefit concerts it was performing in Chicago. It had just released its second album, "Vs." — one of its most popular — but nevertheless had to cancel most of its subsequent tour due to clashes with Ticketmaster-controlled venues.
The band members even got a meeting in President Bill Clinton's Oval Office to push the matter. Pearl Jam proposed a plan to use recently closed military bases as concert venues, because those sites weren't under Ticketmaster's control.
The campaign lasted 14 months, with Pearl Jam manager Kelly Curtis eventually giving in, saying, "It is impossible for a major rock group to put on a national tour under the current circumstances without Ticketmaster." That triggered a federal Justice Department investigation, but no lasting changes in the concert promotion industry.

2024.05.26 03:50 GalacticGhoulArmy What features/story ideas do you have for a possible "Stray 2"?

(I put spoiler as there are a few minor ones)
I know this question has been asked a lot before, but I also wanted to give a few of my ideas and hear new suggestions that haven't been said before. Prepare this is gonna be a very long post. I wanted to post this to ask what you'd like to see in a possible Stray sequel and also some stuff I'd like to see. First I want to state a couple of reasons why I think there is a chance we'll get a "Stray 2".
REASON 1: Success. It's no secret Stray was a relatively large success, selling millions of copies. This should mean that BlueTwelve not only has the money to create a sequel but also they know there's a demand. When they created Stray they probably didn't know how much demand it would have, but seeing the sales and people asking for a sequel they'll know it's probably a project they can spend some time and money on.
REASON 2: The Story. While it's debated whether the ending was good (Better put as satisfying) or not, I think we can agree that the ending/story had rather open-ended segments. Some instances of this are that our cat is never seen meeting up with his family, the eyes in the sewer may still be "Alive", and some characters/aspects of the story have mystery behind them (We don't know what happened to Blazer for instance), B-12's fate is unknown/debated, etc. The sequel could easily expand on it and it seems they may have left it rather open-ended on purpose (They also said what they do next heavily depends on the success of this game, which may be hinting at a possible sequel).
REASON 3: Re-using Assets/Code. For this next project, they are also able to re-use some previously made assets which could speed up the process. (They can re-use even more with the fact I wouldn't mind the sequel being in the same city).
That's all the reasons I'll list for now because the list is already pretty long. Okay, now I'll get to some features I'd like to see. First of all is a longer game/story. If you do everything in the game it will take you around 10 hours, give or take a few. So I want the game to have a longer overall story with new gameplay features to keep people engaged. I would also like more side content, such as more collectibles, more/longemore depth side missions, extra cat activities, etc. Another thing I would like is customization, but not in terms of the cat's fur, whiskers or it's physical appearance. Just stuff like collars, hats, vests, badges, you get the drill. This feature is a little bigger but I would also like an open/connected map. I don't mean an open world like that of Breath of the Wild or Elden Ring, but more similar to Dark Souls. With smaller zones that interconnect to each other. However, I would still expect the map to be a little more linear than that. My basic hopes with this are that you can unlock possible shortcuts, travel between places without having to change chapters, backtracking for missions, etc. I would also like the map to be larger than the last game but not by a huge margin. Being a more open and larger map, fast travel would be great too. My basic idea with this is that the fast travel would be the bus stations that the Stray turned on before he left. Now this will serve as a fast travel, which would function well and best cool story-wise. These are just some of my ideas but I thought they could be cool.
... Yeah there's still a little more left. I also wanna know your possible story ideas for a Stray 2. I've got a couple of my own but wanna hear yours as well.

2024.05.26 03:24 Outsider_123x Should I include an unknown defunct company on my resume?

In May 2020, I have not been employed for mental health reasons (pandemic). I went back to school in January 2023 and I'm still there. Effectively this is ~2.5 year employment/education gap. I've been trying to find a job in the last 6 months for co-op and my resume has been rejected despite great formatting and wording (according to professors, classmates, career services, resume reviewers, etc). The biggest problem is the massive employment gap.
However, I did technically work for my parent's UX design company from early-2019 to mid-2022, which would effectively shorten the gap to only ~6 months. One of my classmates suggested I include this. I did not include this in my resume for a few reasons.
  1. It was closed down mid-2023. They never used social media to promote their brand, although they had a business name. They got their clients from Fiverr and a few other freelance websites. How are employers supposed to verify I worked there if they can't look up the company?
  2. The company was super small. Just my parents, me and maybe 2 others have worked there in the past (when request volume was extremely large). Does working for a company this small hold any weight on a resume?
  3. I didn't really "work" in the same way you describe someone who clocks in and out. When they got a lot of projects, I would help. In fact, I averaged fewer than 5 hours per week over the course of 3 years. That's a lot less than even a part-time job. Does working this little even remotely count?
  4. I was never formally paid. I didn't get direct deposits nor checks sent to me the same way a conventional employer would. I was paid a percentage commission for the projects. Plus I lived under my parents' roof so money didn't really matter to me. If you don't get records of payroll getting sent to me, wouldn't the background check think I'm lying? I'm not even sure if they ever put me as an official employee even though they did register the company back then.
  5. I already sent a lot of resumes and already have ~300 LinkedIn connections. Wouldn't people think I'm lying if I suddenly sent a new resume and updated my LinkedIn accordingly with a 3 extra years of overall work experience? Not to mention we live in an online world where job applicant data is saved. Imagine if suddenly the same HR feels suspicious and suddenly sees I have this experience out of nowhere. Or if a recruiter who already saw my LinkedIn sees my profile again with this record. Isn't the cat out of the bag?
  6. It's not relevant field experience. I'm studying finance and UX design has nothing to do with it. I know people include Walmart/Costco/McDonalds jobs on resume but at least you were working a conventional job and there's an organization of roles. I just don't know many transferable skills or any standout accomplishments I made helping my parents with their business.
So to sum it all up, should I include it on my resume or not? What would be the best way to describe this work experience on the resume so it's believable?

2024.05.26 03:23 SlickCinematic I have to give away 7500 free hats in Portland this weekend. Any ideas?

So, my friend and I used to have a business selling hats that came with a set of attachable, velcro letters, so you could make them say whatever you want.
They look like this: https://imgur.com/a/azB4zUX
We always thought they were cool, but never had much luck selling them online.
Now we're clearing out our storage unit, and have to get rid of 7500 of them by the end of the weekend. I don't live in PDX anymore, so they have to be gone by Monday night.
It'd be easy enough to take them to the dump, but it feels like a shame. They're brand new, and when people actually see the hats in person, they usually really like them.
Does anyone know a person or organization able to take a donation of such a large volume of perfectly good (and imo cool) hats, on short notice?
They weigh 2000lbs, and take up a ton of space, so it's not just something you can bring to a thrift store. We already called goodwill, and while they'd take a few boxes, they're not set up to take a huge amount of inventory like this. I also tried calling a few toy and clothing charities, but they're closed for the weekend.
We're open to any ideas, thanks for any help!

2024.05.26 03:08 Candid-Crazy-6757 $2500- $3000 Gaming PC

Questions
Is this a brand new build, or an upgrade to an existing build?
Brand new. I can put it together, built a few about 10 years ago. Not against a prebuild.
Please list any existing parts or monitor(s) you have that you would like to re-use with this build. For upgrades, a PCPartPicker list of your full build is extremely helpful. Be as specific as you can be here, including links or exact model numbers of each component whenever possible.
Re-use Keyboard, Mouse.
What will this PC be used for? Examples include things like gaming, general/multimedia use, photo/video editing, coding, AI/ML, etc. Include specific games and applications you intend to run, and any particular performance goals you have, as each may have different specific hardware needs.
Gaming, General Multimedia. Games: Dayz, Fortnite, Cod. Eldin Ring.
What country will you be purchasing in? If you are in the US, do you live near a Micro Center? For other countries, please check if your country is supported by PCPartPicker by using the country selector dropdown on the top right - if not, please provide some links to reliable local vendors you are comfortable ordering from.
US. No Micro Center in the area. Live in WA but can travel into Oregon to purchase from box store with no Tax. Will also be in Canada in a Week and could purchase parts when visiting. Near Vancouver, Canada.
Do you need one or more monitors included in the budget? Please list how many and any size/resolution/refresh rate preferences if needed.
I would like Dual Monitors. 1 amazing monitor for gaming and not crazy for the 2nd. 29" More interested in a great 4080 vs 4090 GPU.
What is your preferred and maximum budget range for this build, in local currency? Parts lists may sometimes have additional shipping costs. Please note whether prices in your country include sales tax or not, and adjust your budget accordingly. Typically VAT countries will have it included in the part list prices, whereas regular sales tax countries like the US and Canada will not.
Would like to spend $2500-$3,000. Is $3,000 needed if staying with a 4080?
Do you need WiFi, or do you have a wired ethernet connection available?
Wired but not against WIFI if included.
Do you have any specific size or noise requirements for the build?
No noise requirements
Do you have any aesthetic preferences for color or lighting? Describe what you're looking for, or feel free to provide some links to examples that may help. Some people prefer an inobtrusive stealth build, while others may prefer a case full of rainbow RGB.
No need to spend money on lighting. want cooling over lighting. Won't see the Case.
Any other specific requests or requirements? Examples might include a specific minimum amount of storage, or a particular CPU socket for a future upgrade path, etc.
Want to have this computer for years so will listen to added things to help future proof this. Would like 2-4 TB storage.
Also looking for help finding an internet splitter(not sure if thats what its called)
I have about a 60' run from the cable internet box to my computer area. Should I consider running a new internet cable from the modem to this new computer(currently a 8-10 year old cat5)? if so which cat # should I purchase?
Will have this computer and a second computer right next to it for work. I have 1x cat 5 cable ran into the room. is there a peripheral where I can run the 1 cat 5 cable into it and then split to both computers? Currently my second computework computer is on WIFI. Can i run both machines off 1 cat cable?

2024.05.26 02:59 velvetcrowb4r Can I use silica cat litter to dry flowers?

Will silica cat litter work as effective for drying flowers? I can only find silica gel sand online and don't want to wait for it and risk the flower going bad. Cat litter is more available
