🔗Mighty Nebo 12K Rechargeable LED Flashlight: Powerful and Versatile

https://preview.redd.it/bn0ebinu234d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5cf9a09bc7597de18ff9abd66e64e7e265cc629d
As a flashlight enthusiast, I recently had the chance to try out the Nebo 12K Rechargeable Flashlight, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. This flashlight boasts 5 different light modes, making it a versatile companion for any outdoor activity or emergency situation.
The highlight of this rechargeable flashlight is its impressive run time, particularly in low mode. With 12 hours of use on low mode, you can be sure it will last during those long power outages or camping trips. Not only does it have a long run time, but it also provides a powerful beam that reaches up to 721 feet.
One feature I appreciated was the 2x adjustable zoom, which allows for flexibility and precision when illuminating a subject. Additionally, the IP67 waterproof rating gave me peace of mind when using the flashlight in wet conditions, knowing it would not easily malfunction.
The NEBO 12K truly shines as a multi-purpose tool, effectively functioning as a camping light, hunting light, EDC flashlight, and even doubling as a power bank for your USB-rechargeable devices.
There were a couple of drawbacks, however. The flashlight itself can be quite heavy, weighing in at 2 pounds, which may be a consideration for some users. The high setting only reaches up to 3,000 lumens, which might not be the brightest available on the market.
In summary, the Nebo 12K Rechargeable Flashlight offers versatility, durability, and an impressive beam distance, making it an excellent choice for outdoor enthusiasts and emergency preparedness. The only downside is its weight and the relatively low lumen capacity on the highest mode, but overall, I am quite pleased with my experience using this flashlight.

It was perfect for nighttime hikes or scouting while navigating through dense forests. The fast charging port was also a nice touch, significantly speeding up the charging process.
I enjoyed the fact that this flashlight had 4 modes - high, medium, low, and strobe - which were incredibly useful in different situations. The easy-to-use switch made it simple to toggle between modes and turn off after use. The durable yet lightweight construction, coupled with its waterproof design, made it a suitable companion for any adventure.

The sturdiness of the light impressed me. Despite its portability, it has a solid construction that helped me achieve a steady working environment. The YXQUA XHP70 12000 Lumen Flashlight has been a reliable companion during my hiking trips and late-night walks. The bright CREE XHP70 LED lamp illuminated my way through the darkness, while the zoom feature allowed me to control the brightness intensity and illumination range. With its five modes, I could choose the perfect setting for any situation, and the intelligent power indicator light never let me down with low battery reminders.
One particularly impressive feature was the built-in rubber USB cover; it not only added durability to the flashlight but also made it less prone to accidents. While adjusting the focus and brightness was a simple and straightforward process, one downside was the tendency of the glass not to cool down quickly, which could potentially burn my hand.
Using this flashlight has been enjoyable and convenient, fulfilling its purpose as a powerful, rechargeable, and versatile light to keep away darkness and danger.

🔗Ultra-Bright 12000 Lumen Flashlight for Emergency and Outdoor Use

These SKNSL Rechargeable LED Flashlights truly shine with their impressive 900,000 lumen output, providing brightness you can count on. I was particularly drawn to the 7 modes, making it a versatile choice for all kinds of adventures.
One thing I really appreciated is the use of COB technology in these flashlights. It made the focus easily adjustable, switching between wide range and spot illumination, greatly aiding in my detection of surroundings.
However, it did take some getting used to with handling the light for long periods of time due to the intense brightness, which felt more like a sun's intense glare.
But overall, these LED flashlights provide a powerful and rechargeable source of light in emergencies or during your outdoor treks. With their IP6 waterproof rating and strong aluminum alloy body, they are built to handle any weather or situation.

The Fenix LR50R is easy to use, too. With dual stainless steel side switches, you can quickly cycle through its six brightness modes and SOS, beacon, and strobe functions. The built-in tripod mount is a nice touch, making it convenient to use in different settings.
Now, let's talk about the battery life. The included 16,000 mAh battery pack can be fast-charged with the USB Type-C charging cable, and it has enough juice to keep the flashlight running for over 58 hours on eco mode. Plus, the LR50R can also be powered by one to four 21700 batteries, making it a great backup for when your primary battery dies.
The Fenix LR50R isn't without its minor cons, though. It's definitely on the heavier side, so it might not be the best option for those who prefer a lighter flashlight. Also, while the flashlight itself is well-made, the included accessories could use some improvement - I found the holster and lanyard a bit flimsy.
Overall, the Fenix LR50R rechargeable flashlight is a powerful and versatile tool that's perfect for those who need a reliable light source in any situation. Its high lumen output, easy-to-use interface, and long battery life make it a standout choice among other flashlights on the market.

Last month, I decided to give the Yierblue Rechargeable Spotlight Flashlight a try during one of my usual camping trips. At first, I was skeptical about its claimed brightness, but it truly was extra bright compared to the small models I've used before. The LED light had a lifespan of 50,000 hours, which was impressive considering how often I used it, and its 1000,000 lumen beam was able to cast light up to an incredible 550 yards.
One of the features I found particularly helpful was its IP67 waterproof and floating ability. I submerged it into the river near my campsite by accident, but not only did it perform like a charm, but it actually floated back up to the surface! This added layer of durability was a definite pro, especially when paired with the High strength ABS housing and silicone protective case.
The flashlight's versatile capabilities added even more convenience to my outdoor adventures. With an output port that served as a power bank to charge my devices in emergencies and built-in 10000 mAh batteries, I was confident I would never be left in the dark. The 4 adaptable light settings made it suitable for various activities, from working on a farm to hunting or simply providing hands-free lighting.
Despite all its advantages, one thing I did notice was that the flashlight tended to be quite heavy in comparison to others, making it less ideal for extended periods of use or carrying around on long hikes. Additionally, though the provided red filter was great for specific purposes, such as hunting, I would've appreciated a more adjustable or easily removable feature to further customize the light.
On the whole, my experience with the Yierblue Rechargeable Spotlight Flashlight has been a pleasant one. The brightness, waterproofing, and versatility of the device made it a valuable addition to my camping gear, while its weight and filter issues were minor inconveniences. Overall, I would recommend this flashlight for anyone in need of a heavy-duty, extra bright light for their outdoor adventures.

Important Features

Brightness

The primary feature to look for in a 12000 Lumen flashlight is, of course, the brightness. This amount of light output is suitable for various environments, including camping, hiking, emergency situations, and even industrial settings. Always check the manufacturer's specifications to ensure the flashlight delivers the advertised brightness.

Weight and Portability

A 12000 Lumen flashlight can be quite heavy, so consider the weight and portability when making your decision. If you plan to carry the flashlight frequently, choose one with a comfortable grip and a balance of size, weight, and power. Additionally, consider whether the flashlight comes with a carrying case, holster, or any other accessories that may aid in portability.

Durability

Since a 12000 Lumen flashlight is likely to be used in outdoor or rugged environments, durability is crucial. Look for a flashlight with a sturdy, waterproof, and shock-resistant build. Battery Life

A 12000 Lumen flashlight requires a significant amount of power. As such, it's essential to consider the battery life. High-capacity rechargeable batteries are usually recommended for these types of flashlights. Additionally, a fast charging time and the ability to use replaceable batteries can be great advantages.

Beam Type and Beam Pattern

Different flashlight models come with different beam types and patterns. A focused beam is ideal for long-distance illumination, while a wider beam pattern is better for close-up tasks. Consider the activities you'll be using the flashlight for and choose one with a beam type and pattern that suits your needs.

2024.06.02 05:55 The_Blight_Architect Empyrean Varus needs a complete rework

Empyrean Varus needs a complete rework. It needs to be scrapped and redone. Seriously. I can't express how HORRID this skin is. The physical aesthetics and personality of this skin are not Varus. I think you could even argue this skin has no personality.
At first glance the colours and shapes of this skin are horrible - simple and boring while all the other new Empyrean skins have so much detail and visually-appealing design. It looks like they polished a Legacy skin from 10 years ago.
Literally the only things I like about this skin:
If they could use the edgy, sharp elements and vibrant energy in the design of his Q and reimagine it into his entire design theme it would look AMAZING. Add some flames on his character model, on his bow when he activates his passive “Living Vengeance” on kill, on his empowered Q arrow, and maybe on his ult projectile or when the Chain of Corruption tendrils spread. Also, a pentakill animation with each enemy being consumed by a different shaped portal would be pretty wicked as I have 7 Varus pentas from the last year alone. Varus IS a pentakill champ.
Now for what I don't like:
Continuing on:
That's exactly what this skin is: a joke. This is a mockery of Varus and his fans. I almost think the dev team made it horrible on purpose. To make a statement that the skins team needs more funding. Seriously.
Varus' personality is vengeful. His passive is named "Living Vengeance" and his title is "The Arrow of Retribution." And here he is dancing with graceful amusement like a jester. Varus needs to be menacing. He is an ADC, and given his versatile kit, he can be dreadful in other lanes. He needs to be feared. What does it say about Varus as an Ascended turned Darkin, unable to control his human hosts? The idea of Varus and his hosts working together - doesn't work. This is not Aphelios and his sister, or Viego and Isolde. I'm sorry but that's the truth. I know some fans want character development for Varus, but that's not it. The 3 different colours (blue, yellow, pink) in his blight stacks/ult/empowered Q, the shadows in his laugh animation, it's just so tacky. Their personalities conflict while the colours clash and create imbalance.
I haven't even begun to speak about the other skins released alongside Varus. They look so much better. And that's an understatement. Brand and Malzahar look great. I am sitting in awe watching every single part of Nocturne's animations. There is no part where he doesn't look amazing. The colours, the shapes, the lines, the lighting, the base animation, the blur effect during the base animation... the sound of his ult animation...
Empyrean Kayle looks absolutely amazing. It's actually unfathomable that her base Empyrean skin is 1350RP. This skin looks incredible. The design of her blade, the energy flowing from her blade, the particle effects, the shapes and overall design, the colours, the colour gradients, the colour changes during animations O_O... her wings, the evolutions of her skin at level 11 and 16... Her ult looks and sounds incredible. Prestige Empyrean Kayle has a special crystallized effect in her wings. The colours are so vivid and bright, and there’s so much energy coming from her swords...
And Empyrean Varus… is a Legendary skin?

While there were no significant drawbacks during my experience using the VEVOR PCP Air Rifle Pump, I did notice that it can be a bit noisy compared to some other compressors I've used. Additionally, the upgraded metal front shell added a sleek and sturdy touch to the compressor, making it suitable for outdoor use.
The water cooling heat dissipation system was a great addition. It helped regulate the temperature of the compressor, preventing overheating and prolonging the lifespan of the unit. The premium details, such as the copper motor and cast aluminum cover, only added to the overall build quality and aesthetic appeal of the product.
However, there were some minor drawbacks I encountered. The instructions provided with the compressor were a bit unclear for a beginner, which could be improved. Additionally, the noise level was higher than I anticipated, but it wasn't unbearable, and I eventually got used to it.

Meet the TUXING 4500psi PCP Air Compressor, a robust tool that's been a trusty companion in my daily life. I have filled large capacity water bottles with ease, and it took only 3 minutes to fill 0.5 liters from 0-300 bar! But the best part for me is the built-in double filter that makes the air cleaner - no need for an additional oil-water separator.
Now, let's talk about the pressure adjustability - it has an adjustable manometer and temperature gauge, capable of reaching 4500psi and automatically stopping when the preset pressure is met. The cooling system, powered by a battery-operated digital thermometer monitoring an independent water cooling system, is a win as well—it makes the machine reliable and safe to handle.

Filling my PCP air rifle used to be a time-consuming and labor-intensive task, but this compressor significantly sped up the process. With its powerful 1.8KW motor, it fills tanks in no time, making it a worthwhile investment for anyone looking to streamline their airgun setup.
However, there was one aspect of the compressor that left me slightly disappointed: the noise level. While it's not excessively loud, the vibration is quite noticeable, especially when in use. Additionally, the instructions could have been more clear and user-friendly. It took some trial and error to figure out the setup process, but once it was up and running, the performance was impressive.

One standout feature for me was the built-in oil/water separator, making the compressor reusable and environmentally friendly. The 8mm quick connector seamlessly attached my PCP air rifle, and the visible pressure and temperature gauge provided me with useful insights into the compressor's status.
However, I encountered an issue regarding the moisture buildup while using the compressor on a PCP rifle. The rapid temperature rise caused condensation, leading to potential damage. To remedy this, I suggest using the compressor in short bursts or using an additional air dryer.

While these compressors are similar in many ways, there are some important features, considerations, and general tips to keep in mind when purchasing one.

Portability

Portability is a crucial factor when choosing a 4500 Psi compressor. Some models come with wheels for easy movement, while others may be heavier and require additional lifting or carrying assistance. Consider the weight and convenience of the compressor's transportation, especially if it needs to be moved frequently or across long distances.

Power Source

4500 Psi compressors can use various power sources, such as gasoline, propane, or electricity (both AC and DC) to run the engine. Each power source has its advantages and disadvantages. Gasoline and propane models offer greater portability, but can be noisier and require additional maintenance. Electric models tend to be quieter, but may be limited in their applications by power outlets.

Air Tank Capacity

Another important feature to consider is the air tank capacity. The larger the air tank, the longer it will take to recharge the compressor after it has been used. Generally, larger air tanks are more convenient for continuous use, but also add weight to the compressor.

Air Flow and Pressure Output

Air flow and pressure output are essential factors when selecting a 4500 Psi compressor. The air flow determines how quickly the compressor can fill the tank and deliver compressed air. The air pressure output determines how suitable the compressor is for specific applications. Understand the requirements of your intended applications to ensure you select a compressor with adequate air flow and pressure output.

Maintenance and Reliability

A high-quality 4500 Psi compressor should be reliable, durable, and easy to maintain. Look for compressors with high-quality components and sturdy construction. Also, consult the manufacturer's manual or ask the dealer about recommended maintenance schedules and any special instructions that might be required for efficient and prolonged operation.

Accessories and Compatibility

Some 4500 Psi compressors come with additional accessories, such as hoses, tires, or inflation needles, making them more versatile and practical for different applications. Make sure that the compressor is compatible with the accessories you require or intend to purchase later. Additionally, check whether the compressor is compatible with other equipment or tools you may use it with.

Safety Features

Lastly, safety should always be a priority when selecting a 4500 Psi compressor. Look for models with essential safety features like automatic shut-offs, pressure regulators, and overload protection. These features help guard against accidents, malfunctions, or damage to the compressor.
4500 Psi compressors are versatile tools with many applications. When selecting one, consider factors like portability, power source, air tank capacity, air flow and pressure output, maintenance and reliability, accessories and compatibility, and safety features to ensure you find a model that best fits your needs and requirements.

6th time I re-glued my rearview mirror to my windshield - HELP!
Years ago, my 3 year old decides to do pullups using the rearview mirror and broke it off the windshield. Since then I have meticulously followed the instructions on 3 different rearview mirror repair kits (Permatex, 3M, Loctite) 6 different times, only to have the rearview mirror fall off either immediately or after a month or so. I even bought a new metal button, hoping this would help. I made sure the temperature was correct and I did everything per the instructions. Is there a better glue? Am I missing something?
For context, this is a 2002 Toyota Tundra. Picture 1 below shows the original spot that the rearview mirror was attached to. My child was able to detach not only the mirror, but part of the glass underneath the black part. The glue "stain" is that last attempt to repair with 3M kit. After holding it in place for the instructed minute, I taped the button to the windshield and let it dry for 3 days. I then attached the mirror and was adjusting it and it fell off.

Picture 2 shows the rearview mirror and new button - I'm noticing that there is barely any glue residual on the button - maybe the glue is not sticking to the new button?

2024.06.02 05:05 cslevens [H] Three Mostly Complete Wargames Atlantic Sets, [W] One NIB or NOS Kill Team, [Loc] DC Metro Area

Context: I bought these WGA boxes as I got into the painting hobby, thinking they would be good Kitbash material for Imperial Guard units. They absolutely ARE, but I’ve since discovered that I like painting way more than kitbashing. So here we are.
On offer: 1 Box of WWII Infantry, minus the parts for one soldier. Box still contains 28-29 soldiers NOS, plus extra bits.
1 Box of Bulldogs, minus the parts for about two soldiers. Still contains 21-23 Soldiers NOS, plus extra bits.
1 Box of Les Grognards, minus the parts for about two soldiers. Still contains 21-22 Soldiers NOS, plus extra bits.
WGA kits do not come with instructions or bases, but I can provide some spare plain bases if it helps the deal.
Wanted: I’m asking for one bespoke Kill Team, NIB (preferably) or NOS. To be abundantly clear, I’m offering a trade of all three WGA boxes for the one, single Kill Team (3:1).
I cannot accept the following Kill Teams: Kreig, Kommandos, Salvagers, Novitiates.
Kindly PM me for more pictures if needed. Thank you for reading!

2024.06.02 05:03 orangensaft12307 Killers from least to most fun to play as

I made this type of post a while back and was surprised at how much my opinions changed. I try and switch out which killers I play pretty often, but it's natural I find some more than others. So here's all 35 killers ranked from least fun to most fun (from killers perspective). Obviously these are my opinions. Some of these are ranked low just cause I suck at this game.

35: Nightmare - He has legit nothing that makes me want to play him. I can't recall a single moment where I've wanted to play him and I don't think it'll happen if he stays the way he is.

34: Shape - He just doesn't have anything aside from his goofy builds (mirrors). He doesn't even take the cake for the killer that gets the most scares.

33: Nurse - I just don't like playing nurse. She's a lot more interactive for the killers below her, but I never saw her appeal. I'm sure she'd be higher if I was better at her, but she'll go here for now.

32: Artist - This one is completely a skill issue. I am absolute dogwater at Artist and always get frustrated when I play her. I absolutely get why people love her. I just suck at hitting birds.

31: Wraith - I feel bad for putting him so low, but I just find his gameplay loop so repetitive. Like Artist, I get the appeal. He just never really clicked for me.

30: Skull Merchant - I would like her more, but every game I play always has at least one survivor DCing or giving up :/

29: Good Guy - Aesthetically he's one of my favorites, but his power just never wowed me. He's not boring by any means, but I can't help but like other killers more.

28: Clown - Same thing as Chucky. He just never stood out.

27: Spirit - This ones also a skill issue. However, I can still find some fun with her.

26: Twins - Ever since the QOL changes, I've enjoyed twins quite a bit. She still has some core problems with her kit, but she feels a lot less clunky.

25: Hag - The constant setting resetting of traps dampens an otherwise fun killer.

24: Knight - His main issue is just some QOL stuff. Like this killer has the worst visual bugs in the game and they've been around since his PTB.

23: Mastermind - I just feel like I'm always getting stuck on the tiniest obstacle. Probably a skill issue, but I just don't like playing him that much.

22: Demogorgon - I love his portals, but shreds just a shred (I'm funny I swear) inconsistent

21: Dredge - PLEASE MAKE LOCKER SPAWNS BETTER I BEG YOU

20: Pig - I love ambush and Beartrap kills are satisfying. I pretty much enjoy all the killers in the top 20, so it's just mainly gonna be "I like others better" rather than "This killer has problems that make me not enjoy them"

19: Xenomorph - Sometimes tails a bit inconsistent, but I vibe with him.

18: Hillbilly - His overdrive did wonders for how fun he is. I think I just wore myself out after playing his a lot after his rework.

17: Legion - I find myself appreciating him a lot more nowadays. HE's the character I play when I just want to vibe and turn my brain off a bit

16: Cenobite - I like chain. It fun. No complaint.

15: Burger King Foot Lettuce (Deathslinger) - I like him less than most other ranged characters, but hitting the shots is till satisfying.

14: Cannibal - He can be a lot more complex than you think. A good bubba is a lot scarier than killers much higher on the tier list. (RIP Insidious Basement Bubba)

13: Doctor - I use to main him so I've memorized every survivors scream. They haunt me at night

12: Trickster - Running through multiple survivors with main event is incredibly fun.

11: Unknown - Powerful, Fair, Skillful, and kinda goofy. Everything you'd want in a killer.

10: Huntress - She use to top my list, but I fell outta touch with her. Still love them cross maps.

9: Ghostface - The feeling of making a survivor shit their pants is the best in the world.

8: Trapper - You might be confused as to why he's so high when Hag is #25. I just find his traps so much for satisfying. He feels a lot smoother than hag too.

7: Plague - I love the macro part of her power. Predicting who will and won't cleanse and using that info to your benefit feels great.

6: Onryō - Take what I said about plague and double it. Building condemned and giving survivors the stare is incredible.

5: Blight - If you're good enough, there's no loop that can stop a blight. Sonic aint shit compared to this man.

4: Oni - The snowball killer to rule them all. Starting with nothing and them becoming a god is invigorating.

3: Singularity - His pick rate is so low, but he's so fun. I use more brain power playing singularity than I do anywhere else and I love him for that.

2: Nemesis - Zombie good. Tentacle Good. No complaint.

1: Executioner - His power is immaculate. Hitting those punishments are my favorite thing in the game. It all comes down to prediction and there's nothing more satisfying. He's also the hottest killer, no contest.

What is this and how to remove it
Curious if anyone knows what this accumulation at the top of my reservoir is and what to do about it? This system has been running for three years with cryofuel clear premix- no issues with changes in temp or water discoloration. I replaced the coolant once in that time span. I’m about to disassemble parts of the system to add a gpu. As of now I have flushed out the loop and the only thing in the system is distilled. I have superflush by ek and have gone back and forth on the pros and cons of using it to clear the system before tear down. I just don’t think it’s necessary. But maybe I’m wrong? And maybe this bit of green is an indicator that a flush would be useful.
Current plan is take out the reservoir tomorrow and clean it with soap and water. I’m also gonna take apart the two existing gpu blocks and inspect for any signs of corrosion, algae, etc. If the blocks are clear then I won’t even bother cleaning out rads or doing anything further. When I built the system three years ago I pre cleaned the living $h&t out of the rads with mayhems blitz kit.
Any thoughts would be appreciated. Want to be thorough- but also don’t want to do a bunch of unnecessary dissembly either.

🔗Modular 1911 Red Dot Holster for Right Hand Carry

https://preview.redd.it/fc9nv7wvp24d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6021435e5e268672212049145846f1332d142643
I recently had the chance to test out the Alien Gear ShapeShift Core Carry Pack, which is part of the ShapeShift Modular Holster System. What caught my attention with this holster is the unique way it can be transformed into a variety of carrying positions. I was curious to see if it could live up to its promises.
First, I tried the Inside the Waistband (IWB) carry position, which was surprisingly comfortable. I appreciated how easily the holster can be positioned to suit my needs. However, I found that the Appendix carry position felt a bit awkward and less comfortable.
The OWB belt slide and paddle options were also great, but I must say, I felt the holster was a bit bulky, especially when using the OWB setup. I believe this holster is designed for those who carry for work, such as security or police, and not for everyday concealed carry.
One of the most interesting features of the ShapeShift Core Carry Pack is the bonus Holster Mount, allowing you to attach your holster to various surfaces in seconds. When I tried it out, it made carrying my 1911 Govt handgun even more convenient.
Overall, I think this holster is made in the USA and has good quality. The ShapeShift Core Carry Pack provides a variety of carrying options, which I believe makes it worth considering for anyone looking for a versatile and comfortable holster.

🔗Versatile 1911 Red Dot Mount Holster with Optics Compatibility

https://preview.redd.it/o05xlmbwp24d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5539aabaa7584fee72f84ac7afeeffb4296f54d9
The Rough Rider Holster left an impression on me as soon as I laid eyes on it. Handcrafted with a blend of vegetable tanned water buffalo leather and industrial-grade bonded nylon thread, it exuded rugged style and durability. I found the double ply backing and snug fit to be truly delightful, as it allowed for minimal printing, making my holster blending into the background seamlessly.
However, the forward cant might not be the best for everyone, depending on personal preference. It took a bit of time to break in the leather, but in the end, it proved to be a worthwhile effort.
For those looking for a versatile, optics compatible, and budget-friendly option, the Rough Rider Holster is a great choice. Its compatibility with a 1.5-wide belt and design for quick and easy draws are features that stand out.
There was a minor downside in the first review, where a customer expressed their desire for a left-handed version of the holster. Regardless, this holster is a solid option for those in the market for a reliable, comfortable, and durable 1911 Red Dot Mount.

🔗45-Degree Offset Rail Mount for Tactical Accessories

https://preview.redd.it/7w8osprwp24d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6259a891245f0331d0f5eac3d82aad09dfefb693
Imagine you're in the heat of the moment, aiming down the sights of your rifle, trying to take out a target from around the corner. This is where the NcSTAR Mount shines. Its 45-degree offset angle allows you to mount your lasers, flashlights, or red dot sights at just the right angle for a clear view down the barrel.
The offset canted design of the mount adds a level of versatility that's not often found in other mounts. It eliminates interference with vertical grips, hand guards, optics, and other accessories, making it perfect for a wide range of uses. Plus, the ergonomic design gives easy access to on/off switches for your accessories, which is a game-changer when you're in the thick of it.
But let's not forget the solid construction. The NcSTAR Mount is made from hard-anodized aluminum, which not only adds strength to the mount but also makes it resistant to corrosion. And the single-slotted thumb nut secures the mount to Weaver Style or Picatinny rails quickly and easily.
The NcSTAR Mount isn't just a device, it's a tool that could give you the edge you need in tense situations. It's a reliable, solid piece of equipment that's easy to use and a pleasure to work with. And the reviews from other users certainly back this up - they've praised its quality, price, and performance. So, if you're looking for a reliable, dependable, and versatile mount, the NcSTAR Mount is definitely worth considering.

🔗Quick-Detach M Lok Swivel for Firearm Accessories

https://preview.redd.it/3kxqsb9xp24d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d39e9641db294fc1a3f17e912c2abe0514f7ff7d
The Allen 10845 Citadel QD MLOK Weapon Mount certainly lives up to its name when it comes to durability and ease of use. I've been using this mount for weeks now, and let me tell you, it's a game-changer for any serious gun enthusiast.
The mount's fast QD (Quick Detach) design works perfectly with M-LOK handguards, and it's even more effective when you combine it with the Allen Citadel Push Button QD Swivel. The ability to quickly detach and reattach your weapon in a pinch is an unbeatable feature on any mount, and it's something I've come to rely on.
On the downside, the mount does require a certain level of precision when attaching and detaching the weapon. A little bit of fumbling could potentially lead to scratches or damage to the gun's finish.
Overall, I'm quite satisfied with the Allen 10845 Citadel QD MLOK Weapon Mount. The benefits of a quick-detach system and the easy-to-use swivel outweigh any potential drawbacks in my opinion. It's a high-quality product from a company with a long history of producing reliable gear.

🔗Versatile 1911 Red Dot Insert for In-Slab Conduits

https://preview.redd.it/7vto3uixp24d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=20ff0b3d0b0ecb4cad9bdf32142d4707fb79812b
As a daily user, the Red-Dot ESL-2 has become a reliable part of my life while working with in-slab conduits. Its die-cast aluminum construction adds durability, and the removable seal gives me peace of mind when dealing with threads.
The 90-degree insert is perfect for my needs, allowing me to eliminate bends in concrete and providing a seamless connection with rigid/IMC conduits. The 3/4-inch trade size fits perfectly, and the UL listing and RoHS compliance make it a sustainable choice.

🔗Adjustable Kydex IWB Holster for 1911 5" Government 45ACP No Rail Only Red Dot Optic Cut

https://preview.redd.it/xl56eywxp24d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d3bfed86ced8c7b2736439875e2a282544c809a0
I recently had the chance to try out this 1911 IWB Holster, and I must say, the experience was quite interesting. The holster is designed specifically for the 1911 5" Government 45ACP No Rail Only Red Dot Optic Cut, and it's made of durable Kydex. One of the first things I noticed was the adjustable retention feature, which allows you to set the tension to your personal comfort. I appreciate how flexible this holster is, with the adjustable ride and cant options.
However, there were a couple of drawbacks I encountered. Firstly, the adjustable clip, while offering up to 8 different positions, didn't seem to stay in place as securely as I would have liked. Secondly, the protective sweat guard, while an excellent feature in theory, seemed to slightly impede my ability to draw my gun quickly and smoothly.
Overall, the holster is comfortable and offers a good fit for my 1911. The adjustable features make it versatile, but there are a few minor issues that I wish were addressed. It's definitely not a bad holster, but I'm still exploring other options to find the perfect one for my needs.

🔗Unity Tactical Fast Plate for 1911 Red Dot Mount

https://preview.redd.it/2i30ulcyp24d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=77cc0b0d52c7e572d38ef56214a8d41da69d6325
The Unity Tactical FAST Offset Optic Mounting Plate is a versatile and reliable addition to any 1911 Red Dot setup. As someone who regularly uses this mount, I can attest to its ease of use and durability.
The 2.05" optical height offers excellent situational awareness, while the compatibility with the UNITY LPVO Mount and Adapter ensures a seamless installation process. The DPP Pro footprint provides a solid foundation for the mount, and the anodized finish adds a touch of style.
However, one downside I've noticed is the weight, as it might not be the lightest option on the market. Nonetheless, for its robust performance and compatibility with various optics, the Unity Tactical FAST Offset Optic Mounting Plate deserves a spot in any gun enthusiast's collection.

🔗Premium Silver Plate for Flash Shoe of DSLR Cameras

https://preview.redd.it/o6uiybryp24d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7e90cd703610032936313cc539a9af3d1c451345
I recently had the chance to test out the Astromania Silver Plate, designed for flash shoes on DSLR cameras. The moment I started using it, I was blown away by the sturdy weatherproof aluminum alloy that guarantees long-lasting performance. The silver plate comes equipped with a hex wrench, making it a breeze to attach it to my DSLR camera's flash type connection.
One of the highlights of this product is its compatibility with the device featuring a 20mm rail mount. It makes the process of attaching the 1X40RD Reflex Red Green Dot Sight to my DSLR camera a breeze. I was also impressed by the all-metal construction and anodizing aluminum process, which ensures durability for long-term use.
While the product has no notable cons, I would suggest that the manufacturer consider improving the instruction manual for first-time users, as it might take a bit of trial and error to get everything set up correctly. Overall, the Astromania Silver Plate is a fantastic addition to any serious photographer's kit, providing a reliable and long-lasting solution for mounting reflex sights on their DSLR cameras.

🔗Universal Pistol Mount for Mace and Flashlights

https://preview.redd.it/nntvta3zp24d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=64db5378247073a995bd357969bf6a0e852ebea7
I had the chance to give the Lethal Universal Pistol Mount a spin recently, and let me tell you, it left a lasting impression. This sleek, versatile mount works like a charm with all my handguns and even my trusty taser. No more fumbling for a holster, this mount makes it smooth and hassle-free.
What really impressed me is the ease of installation - no need for any tools! Simply attach it to my steering console and I'm good to go. It's a life saver when I'm on the go and need quick access.
However, there's one thing I noticed that could be improved. Sometimes, the mount can be a bit shaky, especially when driving off-road. A slight improvement in stability could make this an even more reliable companion. But overall, the Lethal Universal Pistol Mount is a game-changer for anyone who values accessibility and ease of use.

🔗Monstrum Sentry Micro Red Dot Riser Mount for Picatinny Platform

https://preview.redd.it/8ulmjaizp24d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e7cabf822729d5f95f3f9a5f18d94bbe9357ba16
As a seasoned enthusiast of gun accessories, I recently gave Monstrum's Sentry Micro Red Dot Riser Mount a try. This sleek and efficient mount was easy to set up on my Picatinny platform, with its base blending seamlessly into the overall design. Moreover, the red dot mount itself was a breeze to attach, thanks to the versatility in footprint options – either Venom or RMR. My overall experience with this product has been nothing but positive, with the mount proving to be a reliable and precise addition to my setup.
The Monstrum Sentry Micro Red Dot Riser Mount has undoubtedly made my life easier when it comes to co-witnessing. However, I must admit that the mount's lack of options in terms of color and size might be a turn off for some, limiting its appeal as a universal solution. Nonetheless, the product performed exceptionally well and was undoubtedly worth the investment, making it a solid choice for those looking to elevate their target acquisition game.

🔗Stylish 1911 Red Dot Mount Tail Lamp for Show Use

https://preview.redd.it/khqbi3tzp24d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1cb55607a536e52d11610cfa47f972f1318b48d0
I had the chance to try the Wyatt Gatling Red 12V Cat Face Tail Lamp recently, and I must say, it's a unique addition to any vehicle. This red cat face tail lamp features a 12-volt 23/8-watt bulb that truly shines both literally and figuratively. Its mounting system is quite easy to install on a flat surface, and I appreciate the included custom application.
While this tail lamp looks cool and is perfect for show purposes, I have to mention that it is not D. O. T. approved, which might be a concern for some users. Additionally, the instructions provided with the lamp are non-existent, which could be a challenge for someone new to installing tail lamps.
Despite these minor drawbacks, I found the Wyatt Gatling Red 12V Cat Face Tail Lamp to be a great choice for those looking to add a touch of personality to their vehicle in a show or decorative setting.

🔗Comfortable IWB Holster for 1911 5" Government 45ACP Red Dot Optic Cut

https://preview.redd.it/jhni9x70q24d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a7d91083505d20b252ca1b83313445cadc4d2b46
When I first received this 1911 5" Government 45ACP with Rail Only Red Dot Optic Cut IWB Holster, I was a bit skeptical. But it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. This Kydex holster felt sturdy and reliable, fitting my 1911 perfectly. I appreciated the adjustable retention that allowed me to set the tension as per my personal preference. The adjustable ride and cant options provided maximum flexibility, providing a comfortable and discreet carry experience.
However, as much as I loved its features, I noticed a downside. I encountered some difficulty in installing the claw, but that didn't stop me from using the holster. It was a little heavier than I'd hoped, but it didn't feel too much. The protective sweat guard was a great addition, minimizing contact with my body, which was quite a bonus in the middle of a long day.
Overall, this holster met my expectations. It's reliable and comfortable, and though it may not have been without its flaws, the benefits outweighed them. I'd definitely recommend this holster to anyone looking for a reliable and discreet carry option for their 1911 5" Government 45ACP with Rail Only Red Dot Optic Cut.

🔗Lightweight Dovetail Mount for RED Digital Cinema Cameras

https://preview.redd.it/gf0loqk0q24d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=11cc229fd409829cedf611c83ea4c0bb3759a55a
Every day, I'd grab my trusty Red Dovetail Mounting Plate before heading out for a day of filming. This particular mount is incredibly lightweight, making it perfect for my rig's configuration. What I truly loved about it was its compactness. You know how they say, 'less is more? ' Well, that's exactly what this mounting plate embodies.
One key feature that really stood out for me was the sheer ruggedness of the mount. It's incredibly strong and secure, especially when I needed it most. While filming on those challenging terrains, you can just imagine how crucial it was that my equipment didn't budge or shift. In fact, it gave me confidence to take on those unexpected bumps.
But as much as I love it, it does have its tiny shortcomings. I discovered that it slightly lacked compatibility with some of my equipment. Despite being the 'standard ARRI, ' it didn't work perfectly with all my cameras. And that little drawback really bugged me sometimes. But hey, it's a small hiccup in an otherwise pretty awesome product.

🔗Comfortable 1911 Holster with Adjustable Retention and Flexible Carry Options

https://preview.redd.it/3pgl6e31q24d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=bcb57fbf31554ecd020e1a5d8d8748cfb3e226b3
I recently tried this 1911 IWB Holster and was quite impressed with its features. The Kydex material made it durable and long-lasting, while the adjustable retention allowed me to set the tension to my comfort level. The holster also had a protective sweat guard, which was great for preventing my gun from rubbing against my body.
However, there were a few drawbacks to using this holster in my daily life. Firstly, the clip's position was not ideal for concealing the holster under my shirt, and it often felt like a bulge that was noticeable to others. Adjusting the ride and cant also proved to be a challenge, even though it allowed for maximum flexibility in carry options.
Overall, the 1911 IWB Holster provided a balance between comfort and functionality, though it had its share of drawbacks. Still, I appreciated the protective sweat guard, adjustable retention, and Kydex material, making it a decent option for those in the market for a holster.

2024.06.02 04:38 manvsdrums Gonna miss the school kit

Gonna miss the school kit
I graduated college this week and felt a little sad parting ways with the school kit. It was a well-worn ddrum birch kit with Zildjian A customs. It obviously wasn’t the best-sounding thing I’ve ever played on, but I would sometimes spend hours down in the basement practice rooms. I played a little as a kid but began to take things seriously the summer after my freshman year of college, when I was mentally in a pretty dark place. I still suck, but drums kept me sane when school got tough.
At any rate, I’ve been saving up to get an acoustic kit and would appreciate your advice. I have a Roland e-kit at home, but playing on an acoustic kit just hits different.

2024.06.02 04:25 explosive_bannana Any Recommendations for a Good Blade? (PLEASE GOD HELP ME)

Recently, I bought a straight razor kit from Naked Armor, and they basically just took my money and ran. They gave me a razor that didn't cut well, a terrible brush that lost at least 5 hairs every time I shaved and was horrible for lathering, a soap that smelled like battery acid and was also horrible for lathering, strop paste that I never got to use, and a poor excuse for a strop that ended up making the already bad blade even worse. Here's the worst part: they made me pay around 250 dollars for that. I hate life. Would anyone happen to have any good recommendations for a razor, strop, brush, and soap that will actually work? I've heard that Dovo is a good brand. Should I get something from them? Any help is much appreciated.

Community Tier List Discussion - June
Hello all! With the success of the previous voting, here is an updated Tier List as per your choices!
https://preview.redd.it/gp8zdj3bg24d1.png?width=1140&format=png&auto=webp&s=c8076a0d47fc8d2f4a11ed18515f67bb81966e1d
This month we will be revisiting all of the top tiers to see if they've withstood the test of time (except prisoner sonic who ended up in SS tier last month).
CURRENT POLLS: [Ending 6/8]
Keep in mind when tiering that it is assumed the character is operating with the maximum possible skill ceiling, without any faults of a player beyond reason. This is because player skill is an unquantifiable attribute to tier off of, so assuming a player can't do something and that is a failing of the character is faulty logic. Presume that if the player is a Job-Hunting Saitama, they can and will land Accurate Defense when and if possible. If they are a Silverfang, assume they can and will get Depletion, so on so forth. We are judging the characters themselves, not those who play them. Likewise, assume all characters have access to any and all resources needed (SSR Arms, relevant chips, ect)

Tier Rundown

  • SS Tier - Above and beyond, characters who outright make a composition work. This is reserved for characters who, by themselves, define a team and are not simply a part of it.
  • S Tier - Incredibly strong heroes! These can slot into most if not all teams without issue, provide something substantial to that team, and have a well defined and effective niche.
  • A+ Tier - Very strong heroes! These can slot into most teams well but have less value in terms of what they provide or lack a truly defined niche within the team.
  • A Tier - Strong heroes! These heroes can slot into most teams, though they tend to work better with a bit of support. They provide some adequate value to their teams in some form, but perhaps lack the versatility or output of the A+ Tier
  • B Tier - Adequate Heroes! These heroes are more limited in the comps they can be a part of, and either have relatively lower levels of support capability or output. You can run these characters and do fine as they do have niches they can fill, however they aren't the best option to fill them.
  • C tier - Average Heroes! These heroes are only runnable in certain compositions focused on using them and have average or below average support or output capabilities. Lacks a real niche, and any semblance of one is better performed by other heroes from higher tiers.
  • F tier - Subpar Heroes! These heroes are not runnable in any composition with a reasonable expectation to win at the top levels of play. Their output is either so lacking that having them on a team is outright detrimental due to the fight dragging on longer, or their kit is so poorly constructed that using these characters as a self-contained unit is ineffective.
These tiering criteria should help give some context into how the characters should be ranked while also giving more than enough leeway to fit most characters within these tiers for whatever reason one may have. Remember, you are comparing characters to others in their relative level. As such, even if a character does ludicrous damage, ask yourself if that is enough to make up for other failings such as worse Arms than those around them, a lack of other support options, or a lack of mobility or versatility that may make them less effective during certain fights or against certain mechanics.
Now then, here is the updated list after gathering feedback and observations from the community over the course of last month. Remember, this list is subject to and will change. Do not take this as gospel, but rather a foundation by which these characters can be better sorted by you, the community at large! Also remember the tiers are not necessarily ordered, and most characters should be considered equals to their tiermates to some degree unless stated otherwise.

tl;dr list:

  • SS - Zombieman, Genos (Cyborg of Justice), Tatsumaki, Prisoner Sonic
  • S - Silverfang, Saitama-Dreamworld, Puri-Puri Prisoner, Metal Knight, Atomic Samurai, Amai Mask, Genos, Sonic
  • A+ - Fubuki, Job-hunter Saitama (JHS), Iairon
  • A - Snek, Max, Triple Staff Lily
  • B - Spring Mustachio, Smile Man, Stinger
  • C - Mumen Rider, Golden Ball

SS tier

  • Zombieman - Zombieman is one the few characters currently who make up the SS tier thanks to his SSR Arms granting a big bonuses to fellow Assault affinity characters. Paired with his versatile kit allowing him to dip in and out of combat and his Life Burst mechanic, he edges out Genos for the top spot overall due to having comparable tools but a higher overall output, as well as better partners in Tatsumaki, Fubuki and Iairon. That said he is entirely incapable as an AI player, with the CPU not adhering to his self-damaging needs and having bouts of introspection wherein he doesn't move.
  • Genos (Cyborg of Justice) - Genos allows for Overpower allies to gain a big bonus based on his composure damage, has a versatile melee and ranged kit, and strong damage output. Like Zombieman, the options for good partners is helped by Metal Knight and Amai Mask each providing huge amounts of damage, and while his damage in an optimal situation might be lower, he is able to ramp into his higher output ranges much faster and has a more consistent spread. Outright defines a team and has all the tools and damage to earn a SS tier spot.
  • Tatsumaki - Despite not having a composition forming Arms like Genos and Zombieman, her sheer output and versatility in approach more than makes up for it and arguably is as much a component of the Assault affinity team as Zombieman is as without her the team wouldn't thrive anywhere near as much. A threat from up close and far away, her unmatched mobility without losing any damage and myriad of AoE and single target damage net her a top spot.

S tier

  • Silverfang - Silverfang is a surprisingly potent and tanky combatant thanks to Depletion as a mechanic, allowing him to maintain a full offensive while still reducing overall damage from the enemy. His Ancient Martial Mastery allows him one of the largest single non-ultimate damage burst in the game at a staggering 3200% of ATK, and his chip layout is one that caters towards big damage. His SSR is also one of the best in the game at just invalidating content, as every 100 seconds you can get a substantial heal for all allies.
  • Saitama (Dreamworld) - A very large stick to beat enemies over the head with, his burst and overall output in the hands of a strong user is almost second to none. His form swapping isn't too difficult to work around, and transforming your defense into offense allows you to continue doing big damage even in the moments you need to be evasive, though his kit is ultimately one dimensional.
  • Puri Puri Prisoner - The ultimate defensive wall, high damage parries and a kit that lends itself to high damage output allows him to also maintain a spot on any team as your primary tank. Has the option to completely nullify three different boss ailments for the entire battle which is always handy to have if needed, and completely no-sells some mechanics and attacks thanks to Accurate Defense removing damage taken entirely. Can also run self-healing or boost the damage of other Morale characters if those ailments aren't at play, giving him some versatility in how he approaches a fight. Also, ironically, the single fastest character in the game thanks to Angel Dash, meaning no enemy is too evasive for him to catch.
  • Metal Knight - Metal Knight is a character who is defined by one thing: Damage. If there is a swarm or a boss like Ancient King who never moves, he can easily become the single highest output character when operated at capacity. He does have a mechanic-nullifying arms, but his biggest issue is evasive or movement intensive fights (Mosquito Girl, Sky King, Vaccine Man) can often leave him swinging at air. Still, when paired with Genos, he is an absolute unit who can tie together a composition. Likewise, his ability to fire-and-forget allows him a deceptive amount of movement ability while scooting around enemies, though he won't be winning any races.
  • Atomic Samurai - Despite having a similar SSR Arms to Zombieman and Genos (CoJ), his own output unfortunately falls a bit shorter. A combination of paper-thin defense mixed with the need to be in danger constantly makes having him in the main slot a challenge against some bosses, and that lack of versatility (something folks like Genos, Tatsumaki, and Zombieman have in spades) hurts him in the rankings. Mind you, it was a close vote and he may slip into SS tier should other technique characters come into play who benefit from his arms, but for now he's just not there in the eyes of the community.
  • Genos - Rising like an Incinerate blast, Genos's damage became clear after footage from Zakozen and further testing showed the sheer amount of output he was capable of. Comparable to even the most damaging SSRs and being strong both on control and as AI, a well built Genos will load heaps of damage into a foe provided they don't go running out of reach!
  • Amai Mask - A new overpower affinity character with a pension for huge damage at the cost of necessitating control to maximize his output, he is clear and beyond the highest damaged option for that affinity in terms of consistency and burst (though MK might still edge him out on certain fights). His power is tied to performance, and since we are assuming that this is a top level of play, that means his damage is going to be big! The only issue is his reliance on dodge to cancel out of strings, sometimes catching him into awkward spots where the timings don't line up with enemy attacks.
  • Speed O' Sound Sonic - Big output, agile and punishing to foes, able to handle both single target and multi-target fights. He's one of the strongest, if not the strongest, technique character you can bring to a fight. His main issue is longevity, though with proper play this should be mostly a non-issue. All in all, a strong character who can be your go-to on any team, even ones not focused specifically on technique.

A+ Tier

  • Hellish Blizzard Fubuki - Reasonably high output given you can use Flicker well, good AoE damage for swarm or multi-bosses like Sonic, Sky King, Tank Tops, ect. Single target damage is generally lower than other SSRs but has a stronger defensive profile than some. Having to play at midrange almost exclusively for the best output puts a small damper on things and is without question the lowest output SSR option currently but has a good healing SSR arms similar to Silverfang which keeps her in A+ tier in spite of it as well as her pairing with Zombieman as a viable third.
  • Job-Hunter Saitama - Diet Puri-Puri, Absolute Defense as a mechanic cannot be overstated in its usefulness. His existence as an overpower character somewhat earns him this spot thanks to being combined with Genos (CoJ) without taking up the same exact role, similarly to his tier-mate Iairon, but also has the potential to give Genos a massive 70% composure boost thanks to his R Impression Arms (assuming you don't need the debuff reset).
  • Iairon - The assault version to JHS, has the better partner in Zombieman but the worse mechanic in dodge instead of Accurate Defense. That said, his parry on Q is functionally similar (albeit the 2s cooldown keeps him from multi-parrying attacks) and his output is somewhat equal, plus having the better SR passive of triggering Pulling Slash automatically. Between himself and JSS, you have two strong tank characters who can fit into most comps as such, though their pairings with the SS tiers elevate them in this role.

A-tier -

  • Biting Fist Snek - Snek has some huge output on his admittedly convoluted kit, and flowing between his resources is key. Still, the benefit of being an Overpower affinity in a world with Genos is nice, and when played to his optimal abilities he has surprisingly high damage output overall. Has the chance to provide the big 70% boost to composure reduction to Genos, but also has a surprisingly potent heal option for an overpower-focused team if needed. At P6, he is able to start with his ultimate attack and the benefits therein completely change how he operates to make his kit flow much better.
  • Lightning Max - Max has some pretty high output options thanks to gunpowder letting him ignore resource management and his Potential 6 effectively letting him do the same, plus his pairing with Zombieman and access to an AoE attack boost are all effective tools. The biggest thing that keeps him in A tier, though, is his 3 chip combined with his potential 6. With his 3 chip active, non-consuming states lower his cooldowns by 50%. Paired with his E allowing him to enter this state for 6 seconds after dealing enough hits and you can almost fight without having to reload entirely, raising his output immensely.
  • Tri-staff Lilly - A composure breaking technique character in a similar vein to Atomic Samurai, she has both defensive utility and a strong offensive presence through Dazzling state, which she can maintain constantly. This is especially strong in fights where she can freely hammer into the boss, and her gap closers aren't too bad either. A massive glow-up from her initial placement, though she would still be considered perhaps at the bottom of A tier.

B - Tier

  • Spring Mustachio - Being a charge character is a tough life to lead, but Spring does an alright job all things considered. Overpower Affinity benefits aside, it's hard to fit him into a comp consistent given the other options within his affinity and having to use charge with the biggest duration reduction coming from dodging attacks. His abilities also have a tendency to leave him a bit vulnerable to taking a lot of hits, but he does have rather high damage otherwise.
  • Smile Man - Smile Man really needs potential 6 to reach his maximum effectiveness, but since we're assuming he has hit, he can quickly link together Kendama Destructions well which is pretty good damage. Reasonably bulky, but lower overall damage holds him back a lot. In the corner where he can quickly bat the ball and respin due to the lower travel distance, he gets a lot better, but you can't really count on that positioning in every fight. Probably one of the highest damage SRs when controlled by AI.
  • Stinger - High composure damage and constant output, but somewhat feast or famine. Can deal big swaths of damage very quickly and break down the enemy composure bar but lacks the sustainability to do so in a way that matches those in the tiers above. Basically a specialist in a niche that is better performed naturally by the higher tiers, but can be a good fill-in if those characters are missing or if a Genos-for-morale happens to come out.

C - Tier

  • Mumen Rider - Low output, inconsistent damage, kit is all over the place. Wants to be a tank but defensive options are a bit lacking at best and are consequential at worst, wants to deal damage but has to rely on enemy input to do so (and the damage is middling), but very mobile for what it's worth. Can catch up to enemies and proactively deal damage to them, and when you unlock Mach 2 bike his damage gets rather high thanks to Neg. Crit boost. Still, a shadow of his former Beta self.
  • Golden Ball - Output is reasonable but requires him to be at a certain range, then not at a certain range, but then back to a certain range, and while we are assuming characters are played optimally this simply isn't feasible for a lot of bosses who move. Unlike Metal Knight who has this issue but can comfortably and naturally play at any range, Golden Ball requires you to spend your defensive options and play relatively close to the enemy, holding still while charging, and having to rely on a stacking system to get even somewhat high damage burst. In terms of ranged characters, he's easily the worst of the bunch at his role, though one has to wonder if he has some kind of hidden potential.

F-Tier

  • Currently, there is no character regarded as being in F-tier.
This month, as we are going through the old guard, we will include new characters if and when they appear however primarily this will simply be ranking the old characters. Ideally we will be getting through SS and S tier, and next month we will go through A, B, and C tier.
This list will always remain stickied at the top, with the relevant weeks rating posts contained within. Please check by each date to have the chance to make your opinions known!
You may also make your thoughts known in here, though those won't be regarded for the list placement. You MUST post and vote in the provided topics for these characters to have input on their placements, with no exceptions.

2024.06.02 04:02 JenDNA Italian Geneaology Mystery

I'm Looking for help to confirm an oral tradition in the family. Supposedly, my great-grandfather married a Furiosi, and on my mom's kit, she does match 3 Furiosi's on Ancestry. I'm assuming they're grandfather, father and son. I can't seem to attach images, so here's what the 3 matches say on Ancestry:
First Furiosi match
Half 3rd cousin or 3rd cousin 1x removed
44cM <1% Shared DNA
2nd Furiosi match (seems to be his son?)
Half 3rd cousin 1x removed or 4th cousin
26 cM < 1% shared DNA
3rd Furiosi match (grandson?)
3rd cousin 2x removed or half 3rd cousin 1x removed
15 cM < 1% shared DNA
Portale Antenali says the mother of Santina Maria Cordelli is Rosina Lucarelli, instead of Furiosi as our family's oral tradition says (the other part of this was that Santina's mother's family was "half light-skinned Italians and half dark-skinned Italians", which leads me to believe they were from Southern Italy).
The rest of the family were from in and around Cantiano, Italy. I've found very few surnames like Cordelli, Romitelli, Blasi (on my grandfather's paternal line), but I also know Cantiano and the surrounding areas aren't very large. My great-grandmother (Santina) was from Chiaserna.
Also, these are Rosa Lucarelli's records. Save for my great-grandmother's middle name being Elvira (This was a surprise- we just knew her name as "Santina Maria Cordelli"). I'm not confident that I'm finding the correct ancestors, since it seems odd that there's only a few hundred Cordelli's, or Blasi's, or Romitelli's, and I've seen these surnames paired with each other, but completely intermixed in different lines on trees of other matches.
My Italian is also limited, so it takes me awhile to translate the documents. Is it possible that My Cordelli ancestor was married to a Furiosi before or after Lucarelli? Although, the Antenali documents say Santina's mother was a Lucarelli.
https://antenati.cultura.gov.it/search-nominative/?lang=en&nome=Rosa&cognome=Lucarelli&s_facet_query=localita_ss%3ACantiano
My family tree on my grandfather's side -
My grandfather's parents:
I have the Gori side, it's just the Cordelli side that is the brick wall. Rosina Lucarelli's parents are likely Salvatore and Maria, but I'm not 100% sure. I also tried posting this on Italian Facebook groups I found, but they seem to be only for translations of documents.

2024.06.02 03:24 dot4Q 2014 Chicago Scooter Co - GO?

2014 Chicago Scooter Co - GO?
I just picked up this 2014 CSC 49cc a few days ago (think GO) from a guy on FB Marketplace for $800. It's got some body damage and a few other issues. Has decent power (I've had it up a smidge over 40mph and it hasn't dropped below 20 going uphill so far) and frankly I'm stoked to have zippy lil ride for the summer for my commute and running errands and general tomfoolery.
I have questions. I'm a tinkerer , so I'd like to do as much of the general maintenance and repairs as I can. I imagine there's lots of info on these bikes by now, but the search feels daunting. From what I've heard, the engine is likely a GY6, I guess a Honda clone? The crankcase seems to be a solid match. Hard to find info on the 2014 models... I'd like to be able to replace some of the body and other parts, etc. Any suggestions? I visited a scooter shop today, and they weren't too terribly much help. They tried, but I felt more like I was wasting their time. They don't sell parts for my bike (even though they sell the newer models; probably pretty usual I suppose).
But so... Issues.
The front brake engages briefly then makes a hiss from behind the lever. Assuming master cylinder is shot...?
Engine seems to pulse @ ~25+. Assuming it's a governor like on lots of small engines keeping the RPMs from ramping too high. She continues to climb up into the 40s, so is it safe to ignore this?
I want to change the oil. Thing is, this is my only ride. If I pull the drain plug, is there a gasket I'll need to replace? The goofy owner's manual says to clean out some kind of filtetrap? I'm planning to just pump out the oil for now and refill it, as I don't want to end up stuck for days over a little rubber o ring.
Carburator! I haven't peeked at it yet. Are there usually rebuild kits (gaskets, valves, floater, etc) for these, or is it more cost/time effective to simply replace the whole carb? Any recommendations for carb/kit?
LIGHTS - Brake light not coming on. "High beam" looks like almost nothing. Regulalow is brightest. Wondering if burnt? Gonna hit it with the multimeter and check if power is going to the light. How hard to replace these? Should I be able to find replacements at an auto parts store?
Clear plastics - light housings and the speedometer window—all yellow and foggy. Curious to replace the plastic, especially the speedo. If not, what about cleaning/restoring?

That's what I've got so far. Looking forward to any helpful feedback! I'm sure I'll have more questions as I go along. Thanks in advance!

2024.06.02 03:13 Outrageous_Eagle4068 Question about gli/jetta part compatibility.

I have a 2024 jetta and wanted to add some body kit parts to it, problem is, nothing is available for the jetta. Seems like the only cosmetic parts are currently being made for the GLI that i can find.
Can anyone tell me if the GLI and JETTA body parts are compatible.
Meaning, will a front bumpediffuser fit both?

2024.06.02 02:49 helquine The Manliest Run

So I was inspired by YT video of all female run a bit ago. It's pretty well edited so it's worth a watch.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GwyEzur6Rwo
I wanted to try the opposite, an all male run. I a bit of discussion a few weeks ago on this board, mostly about potential concerns. I didn't see anyone report back on how it went, so I'm chiming in here. About how it went.
Overall, it was a really modest challenge. I did I didn't feel like adding a whole bunch of side rules, aside from no cat ears or trinity rain. It's still fairly easy, because you still get you get Alain, Gilbert and Great Knights.
The big limitation "all men" presents is limited healing. You start out and Josef is your only healer. Scarlet, Priests, and Radiant Kngihts are women. For the most part, I didn't find really the lack of healer too challenging. One of my early MVP troops was a hoplite and 2 soldiers. They didn't do a whole lot of damage, but they could set up another unit for a first strike while taking no damage themself. I also made a lot of use of evade tank units... I love me some thiefs and swordmasters. Combine that with occassional heal items and Josef's valor heal and I was good until level 15 or so.
Fortunately, this is when you can get elven archers. The mission recruiting Lhinalagos (and unlocking generic elven archers) was actually one of the hardest of the run. Because it's a defensive mission, the lack of healing really started to stand out. If someone died, I didn't really have time to let them rest a tick on the command post. I ended up restarting it a few times, mostly adjusting how I took out the archer towers. The loss of Smoke Bolt is almost as big a hurdle as the lack of healers.
Fortunately, once that mission is over, the healing woes are pretty much gone. You'll want to give archers an accessory the grants "Quick Heal" and a Lapis Pendant. Scarlet's Ribbon can be worn by elven archers, and you can also buy 2 Holy Miters in Elheim. Set both "Quick Heal" and "Restore" to [Own PP >=2]. Have another character in that unit equipped with a first aid kit, set to target Elven. This will proc "Selfless heal". And just for extra measure, I recommend making Lhinalagos the waifu. +MAG/PHYS and +1PP. Can't ask for more for our healing sniper dealing hybrid damage.
With healing acquired, it was a pretty straight forward clear. Elf Sisters and Berengaria definitely would have made things a lot easier, and I missed flying, but ultimately removing all the women still leaves you with plenty alternative options.
Here's my final groups. The name in brackets means this is the 5th party member added to a long standing 4man team. I'll also mention some key gear.
1) Heavy Cavalry
Renault (Angel Plume), Clive, Glouchester (White Shield for Lifeshare)
Male Soldier, [Elven Archer]
2) Alain & Co
Alain, [Jeremy]
Lhinalagos, Auch, Aubin (ice conferral on Aubin, who just uses Rolling Axe)
3) Heavy Tanking
[Gilbert], Hoplite
Magellan, Male Sellsword, Elven Archer
4)Glass Cannons
Travis, [Aramis]
Rolf, Generic Archer, Generic Breaker (Gambler's Coin, Targeting Archers)
5) Evade Tank #2
Male Swordmaster
Wizard, Lex (Virginia's Shield), Male Soldier
6) Josef's Unit
Hoplite, Sellsword
Josef, Morden, [Generic Spellstave]
7) Heavy Cavalry 2
Adel, Generic Great Knight (Sniper's Amber Lens + Silver Trident), Generic Doom Knight (Squire's Shield)
Morard (Large Aid Kit)
Groups 3 and 4 were the real workhorses of the run. Pretty much any encounter could be wiped by one or the other. Alain's group was always right behind one of them... mostly because I didn't Alain to get all the kills himself, because he was nearly indestructible. I thought Josef would come in clutch as one of our limited healers, but if anything, I got more use from his Resist Magic Assist ability. I'd have him run up and bonk a unit that was in front of a mage tower, then have Renault's unit run around and kill the actual mage.
