I’m absolutely beside myself and getting to the point that I wonder why I continue to work for this company. in the last four months I’ve found out three of my coworkers were fired due to the fact LP took the side of a customer. A friend from another store was suspended, and most likely will be fired because of a misunderstanding. I recently had a run-in of my own with loss prevention due to the fact that my operations manager wrongly accuse me of stealing funds, and after the situation was cleared up, even so much DIDNT GET an apology. But today I witnessed somebody come in, steal a bunch of stuff from the store and walk out eating some of it as if it’s a food pantry. The store constantly gets robbed on a regular base’s and they have not put any type of procedure to help mitigate the theft. But will write up supervisors for not doing a bag check, Don’t treat the people at work for the company like criminals when you don’t even punish the criminals themselves.

Howdy l've been role-playing and writing in general forat least a decade. I am a Male who can play male and female characters. I have original ideas all over and a lot of Fandoms I'm in, which I'Il include below. I'm looking for OCXOC. Every character must be 18+ I have plenty of original characters and ideas along with fandom plots.
For original ideas, i like horror and apocalypse with action and depending romance. I do have a variety. I really like monsters and creepy things from the horror genre like vampires and Tentacles, and l even have my own idea set up in modern times dealing with vampires and hunters and all of that i also enjoy eldritch type horror. I also like old-school slasher films and space sci-fi horror similar to the Alien Franchise.
Now on fandoms! To get some other things down, l only play OC. The anime fandoms i like are Jojo's, Chainsaw Man, Naruto, JJK, Soul Eater, and more. I'm well versed in the Jojo's, Naruto, and JJK, and soul eater fandoms, though it's been a while since ï've stopped keeping up with soul eater. Other fandoms im in include Percy Jackson, Call of Duty, Marvel, and DC.
I tend to use character sheets to describe my character. These are very thorough and usually consist of names, backgrounds, and personalities, along with an in-depth look on appearance. More so on appearances, I don't usually use picture references, but I will if you would like me to.
The types of characters I write are the lone wolf type that has some sad past, which leads them to potentially go off the rails and gain a villain arc.I like all types of tropes, especially enemies to lovers or rivalry. I also really enjoy opposites attracted as a whole from either opposite personality or something else they would be opposites in. Enemies to lovers takes my heart, though.
I love seeing the characters go past theurge to ultimately hate each other and/or go past their usual way of disliking the others' lineage or upcoming I also love good written trauma moments. Like character death's, moments of pain and strife only to see the characters to deal and either be consumed or overcome them. I tend to either come up with original ideas for these scenes or use anime scenes as inspiration with narrative tweaks.
REQUIREMENT
I think my two biggest requirements are creativity and good pacing. Like any story, I feel these two things are very necessary to make a good story. Now, by Creativity, I don't mean you need to bring absolute craziness into the story, but abilities, character etc need to have some good genuine thought put into them. Along with that comes good pacing, which means I don't personally care about response length, and mine will vary from scene to scene accordingly.

Entering my senior year of college on a criminal justice BA and a Spanish minor, wondering if police work down south, less pay but more action, is worth it for a few years, versus up north. I am from MD, i goto school in NC, and based on the few ride alongs and conversations with officers from both states, i can guess that there’s a lot more leeway the further south you go. whereas in my home department, they have to write reports every time their weapon is drawn. Basically can i get the same law enforcement knowledge up north as i can down south? My end goal would be an 1811 position but i want to start out local to build up experience and a repertoire.

I'd like the story to incorporate the differences between our character's cultures, have them drop their hatred and prejudices for one another, learn from the other and grow closer as their romance develops within their forced marriage.
Let's play up politics, love triangles, espionage, drama, life, death, magic, anything we can think of.
A little about me, I'm 30 female from the States. I've been roleplaying on and off for about 13 plus years. I'm semi to advanced literate, depending on the plot, the scene and my partner. I write mostly in 3rd person, I'm comfortable with themes that are 🌠romantic🌶 in nature, and discord is my preferred platform for roleplaying. I prefer my partner to be 21 plus and also in the States, though I'm pretty flexible in that regard.
I do prefer stories that are long term, that can span over years of the character's lives with numerous plot points throughout. It always creates a more in depth story! I love chatting outside of the roleplay as well 💖
I'm a mom to a one year old. My day job is very easy, so I'm free on and off for most of my working hours, evenings and the occasional middle of the night feeding lol I'm in desperate need for some creativity in my life

Hello everyone! So, I’ve been on a bit of a journey lately, planning out my own DCU (the first three phases of it at least.) This was fun, and while I was working on it, I decided to pay a small visit to what came before it: the DCEU and the Snyderverse. Now, while I may absolutely hate Zack Snyder and his views, and think the majority of the DCEU was a mess, I will admit that I actually like Snyder’s Justice League, and have a soft spot for it as a guilty pleasure movie (along with 2016 Suicide Squad.)
So, what does this have to do with my request? Well, thinking about it, while I dislike a lot of the plans, messages, and paths made for Snyder’s DCEU, I would love to make a small universe of some similar caliber of seriousness. Don’t get me wrong, Superman won’t be snapping necks, and Batman won’t be killing his criminals and branding them. However, I would like to create my own little universe full of serious tones, dramatic moments, and epic battles, without all that cynical Snyder influence. But what’s better than just writing out another DC fan-universe yourself? Making an interactive one with someone else, of course!
That’s where you come in, dear reader! I want YOU to play out the superheroes of my little DC Universe! From the heavy hitters like Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, and the rest of the Justice League, to other big teams like the Teen Titans and the Justice Society, to even smaller groups like the JL Dark and the Legion of Superheroes! The universe is yours to act as, and I will be playing all those villains, civilians, and other important characters for you to live your wildest DC dreams in! (My ONLY requirement is that you MUST be able to play a wide variety of heroes, both male and female, and while it can be as many as you want, I would at least require you play a minimum of six to seven justice Leaguers (though they don’t always have to be at the same time, and I can even fill in as characters when you can’t!)
So, if you are interested and DO have as much love and knowledge for DC as I do, send me a DM! You don’t have to write a lot, at least a few sentences per response is acceptable, but the more the merrier! (Just note I won’t always be giving long, multi-paragraphed responses lol. For several weeks now I have struggled to write my personal statement about “why medicine.” All the sample essays that I have found online have been centered around some sort of struggle, such as an immigrant story, or an illness in the family that have inspired them to go on a journey and pursue medicine.
To be truthful I come from a privileged background with doctor parents who themselves had diligently worked and built their own medical clinics out of nothing, but I was born after they got their shit together. So I grew up knowing very well what medicine entailed through my mom’s clinic, and yes, I thought that helping people the way she did was such a noble career, but I didn’t fall in love with medicine until I met another physician in the hospital that I volunteered at in high school. This doctor was involved in academic medicine; not only was he doing clinical care like my mom, but he was also significantly involved in research and mentorship; this was when I realized, wow I really like this kind of medicine, the kind that involves different aspects of patient care, research, and teaching/mentoring.
That’s why when I got to college, I devoted a lot of time to research and mentorship and not too much time to clinical experiences, because I felt like I already knew what the medicine part entailed through my mom’s clinic and i really wanted to dive into the new things about the career that i had recognized and deeply appreciated.
But the more I talk about this journey I feel like the essay is becoming a why MD/PhD or PhD only essay rather than just a why medicine essay and i feel like admissions officers are just going to question why I don’t just pursue a PhD.
For those of you who may come from more of a privileged background, cannot relate to the classic personal statement samples, and recognize this privilege but don’t know how to narrate your story, can you please advise on how I can best frame my personal statement? The sword is probably the most basic weapon out of the 6 of them. There isn't anything bad to say about it since it's kinda in the middle. It's got decent attack speed, decent range, decent damage, and has a pretty good heavy attack. The worst I can say about it is that it's just in the middle when compared to the other weapons. At first I didn't really like the axe, but over time it grew on me. Now I favor it over the gauntlets and hammer. Axe has a few pros, such as having amazing damage output and a heavy attack that does good damage and lands twice depending on how who use it. It also has pretty good range in it's neutral attacks. The con is with its speed. Getting out attacks before being attacks make the weapon more undesirable to use. If you're looking to kill stuff quick then axe is a hit or miss. The dagger is one of my personal favorite weapons to use for a few reasons, but I'll try my best to speak more from experience than from personal bias (which I probably already been doing. If I have, my bad.) To start off, dagger is probably the fastest weapon in the game, only really comparable to the blunderbuss. It has really high speed and it's heavy attack does a shit ton of damage, making it really reliable when it comes to killing bosses fast, just like axes heavy attack. But there are a few flaws to the weapon of course. One of the flaws is its damage, doing the least amount of damage in the game. Just like the axe without the disciple shrines it won't be as viable as the other weapons. And the other flaw is in it's heavy attack. while it's good, the speed in which it comes out is low. It take's a lot longer to preform daggers heavy attack than some of the other attacks, which also makes it hard to hit it. So without something that can freeze enemies and without disciple boosts, dagger isn't really something you'd wanna use. The gauntlets are my second least favorite weapon in the game. But again, I'll leave as much of my personal bias out of it as possible. Gauntlets have decent damage and a half decent heavy attack that comes out pretty quick. But for what it's worth, the speed of this weapon is a pretty big weak point. It's not slow by any means, but it does feel underwhelming when using them. Hammer is my absolute least favorite in the game. But again, no bias against it. The biggest pro is it damage, dealing the most damage in the game in its base, and it has a heavy attack you can move with, which also comes out pretty fast. But the downside that made me not like the weapon is its speed. Its a heavy weapon, so its understandable that the speed of it is very low, but it's what holds the weapon back. So using hammer leaves you pretty vulnerable to many other attacks. This is tied with dagger to be my most favorite weapon in the game... but again, I'll try not to ass much personal bias. The pros of the blunderbuss include it's high damage output and its high speed for its damage. You can practically rapid fire this thing and get a boss to below half in little to no time. But the biggest con is its gimmick; ammunition. The blunderbuss can be fired quickly, but it also has to be reloaded; and reloading this thing takes not a long time, but a good amount of it. The problem comes in with the bullet count only being four. After dumping it, you'll have to either wait until its full or wait until you can fire another round again. Also if you attempt to fire it after running out of ammo the reload process resets, which is pretty damn annoying. And that's the list. This took me about 10-20 minutes to write. I'm also doing this before starting on my final US History essay, so my priorities are kinda messed up, but I'll finish that whenever I get to it. Hello everyone! So, I’ve been on a bit of a journey lately, planning out my own DCU (the first three phases of it at least.) This was fun, and while I was working on it, I decided to pay a small visit to what came before it: the DCEU and the Snyderverse. Now, while I may absolutely hate Zack Snyder and his views, and think the majority of the DCEU was a mess, I will admit that I actually like Snyder’s Justice League, and have a soft spot for it as a guilty pleasure movie (along with 2016 Suicide Squad.)
So, what does this have to do with my request? Well, thinking about it, while I dislike a lot of the plans, messages, and paths made for Snyder’s DCEU, I would love to make a small universe of some similar caliber of seriousness. Don’t get me wrong, Superman won’t be snapping necks, and Batman won’t be killing his criminals and branding them. However, I would like to create my own little universe full of serious tones, dramatic moments, and epic battles, without all that cynical Snyder influence. But what’s better than just writing out another DC fan-universe yourself? Making an interactive one with someone else, of course!
That’s where you come in, dear reader! I want YOU to play out the superheroes of my little DC Universe! From the heavy hitters like Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, and the rest of the Justice League, to other big teams like the Teen Titans and the Justice Society, to even smaller groups like the JL Dark and the Legion of Superheroes! The universe is yours to act as, and I will be playing all those villains, civilians, and other important characters for you to live your wildest DC dreams in! (My ONLY requirement is that you MUST be able to play a wide variety of heroes, both male and female, and while it can be as many as you want, I would at least require you play a minimum of six to seven justice Leaguers (though they don’t always have to be at the same time, and I can even fill in as characters when you can’t!)
So, if you are interested and DO have as much love and knowledge for DC as I do, send me a DM! You don’t have to write a lot, at least a few sentences per response is acceptable, but the more the merrier! (Just note I won’t always be giving long, multi-paragraphed responses lol. Big universe doesn’t give a lot of time to spend an hour on a single message!) I do also prefer to use Discord, as it is easier to manage, but here is also acceptable, just more difficult! One last thing, while this could involve romantic plots, and I am open to this being more serious, I want to keep this STRICTLY SFW.

I wrote pretty much every optional: Penn (Core Values), Duke (one short answer, Why Duke), Columbia (Why Columbia), UVA (Why UVA), NU (Why NU, Kira), Michigan (Why Michigan, Dinner with anyone in history), GULC (Top 10). Did NOT write a Why NYU because they don't ask for one, but I added a few sentences to my PS about why NYU would be a good fit for my goals.
DECISION TIME: I was a finalist for a programmatic scholarship at NYU and was really feeling like that was the school for me. Even after I got rejected for that (that sucked!! cried a lot!!) I was considering paying sticker at NYU - I was just really confident Michigan wasn't the right fit and I hadn't heard anything from Penn. Choosing Penn over NYU was the hardest choice I've ever made but I'm happy with it; Penn really clicked at ASD and the difference in scholarship/COL is significant enough to outweigh the things I loved about NYU. Go birds!!
WHAT I KNOW NOW: Don't take yourself out of the game!! My only cycle regret is not applying to HYS - I did not think my cycle would go nearly as well as it did and even though I'm sure I wouldn't have gotten in, now I'll never know. I also would HIGHLY recommend making some law school friends so you don't piss off everyone else you know because you probably won't stfu about this stuff for a full 9 months, shoutout splitter besties ilysm. Writing these essays will take longer than you think, especially if you aren't a student right now - shoutout movie instrumental spotify playlists and matcha lattes because I couldn't have done it without you. I personally think I outperformed my stats, and that's definitely because I had a great name on my resume and a good professional LOR. I took my LSAT in 2020 and didn't apply until this year and I know I had a better cycle this year than I would have then, so take as much time as you need (also I have savings now and that's sick).
Been on these subs for three years now and, with love, really excited to unsubscribe.
