I posted this in the Kindle sub and received no response, so I'm thinking maybe my question is more relevant here.
I'm an avid reader of nonfiction books that I use for research, teaching, personal development, and leading an organization. I've had every generation of Kindle since the very first one (currently own both a Paperwhite and a Scribe). There is absolutely nothing as convenient as a Kindle when it comes to the convenience of reading. However, I struggle to replicate my system of marginalia and therefore struggle with how to best use Kindle for nonfiction even after all these years of use. This results in a love/hate relationship, as well as numerous attempts to start a book in Kindle only to wind up buying the physical copy a day or two later.
Let me give an example. In a physical book, I typically follow the author's structure by using a pen to put brackets around a sentence like, "Here are three outcomes...." And then I circle the words, "First," "Second," "Third," in the following paragraphs. This allows me to easily flip back later and see structure or the flow of a concept or argument. If the structure follows numerous section headings over multiple pages, I will simply write numbers (1, 2, 3, etc.) next to the section heading so that I can easily see the structure when flipping through the book later. I also like use other symbols such as a star or exclamation points in the margin, and sometimes I draw a line down the page next to a paragraph in order to indicate the whole paragraph is important without underlining every sentence, which allows me to then save underlining for the most important sentences that I want to stick out.
After all these years, I've struggled to really replicate this in a Kindle book. I thought maybe the Scribe would fix this issue, but it provides very little real world value to me in terms of annotation and note taking. It is just as easy to make a note on the keyboard. The Kindle app allows for change of color in highlights as well as for putting a star next to certain highlights (a feature that STILL doesn't exist on the Kindle devices after all these years!). I also am familiar with using Readwise and making heading notes (.h1, .h2, etc.). That is useful to an extent, but still not great.
Maybe I'm asking to much of an ereadeebook. However, I'm also sure it could just be me. I know there are many people here who read lots of nonfiction and likely made a transition at some point from physical books to ereaders and had to adapt in the same way. I value your experience and would appreciate any advice you could give, or insight into your own system for marginalia. Thanks in advance!

Okay, the new system isn't even out yet, but I already made my verdict. As you can tell from the title, I don't have much nice stuff to say about it.
1. Let's start with the fact that you can only have four safes.
That's... okay, cool, but...
2. You can only open one of them at a time(?).
Yes, that's trash, but it's tolerable, but...
3. Not only do you have to open them manually every time, but you also cannot have more than four safes. Any additional safe you get while your slots are full simply won't count.
Damn, it just keeps getting worse. But wait, the despair isn't over yet—there's more! In fact;
4. You can't discard the boxes you have(?), either. So, if you have only 3-hour bunny safes, you absolutely must open them first before getting anything else like a better one.
And to rub salt in the wound for that matter, the boxes have levels. Levels that you acquire through upgrading, apparently(?). The higher the level of the box, the better the rewards, right? Yes, correct! That's great, for sure! What could I possibly say against that, other than... the fact that if you have a level 2+ box, you absolutely must open it if you still want to keep getting level 9+ boxes in the future. So, that could take many hours, and you will get a smaller reward. Why? Because you cannot discard it, and you must live with the lower-level boxes. Now, I don't know if you have to open low level ones only once, or if the levels you receive are RNG. Kindly and hopefully it isn't RNG, so that you always get's the highest levels, without having to wait the same time for potentially 50% of the rewards you could get.
5. The safes feel "unbalanced".
Why do I say that? Well, on one side, we have the "normal" safes, which take hours to open, correct? And on the other side, we have the practice bunny safe, arguably the best one by a long shot. Why? Because this safe can be opened instantly. For free. In fact, if there were a way to only get this safe, I would definitely accept that.
If you could only get practice bunny safes, in three hours of actively playing the game, you would get way more than what the normal 3-hour safe offers in rewards, which is insane to me, even though the practice safe gives less. You would also actively play the game which is nice for literally everyone in the current state of the game.
6. But wait, there's more! So, listen, here in the patch notes, the developers said, and I quote:

What’s even weirder is that there isn't even a mechanic to skip five minutes or more of the safe opening if I genuinely... play the game. Like, really, I can't do anything but wait? Dude, most matches in this game are against bots, and I feel like this may have increased the odds slightly. Before, I would play many matches because I wanted to play and nothing else, and now I will likely only play once every 3/8 hours, and I feel like many people will do the same. Doesn't that mean there will be more bots and fewer matches overall? I honestly don't know. I just feel like the game's player base isn't big enough for such a mechanic.
Anyway, I'm not a "professional" on mobile games industry, so I have no idea how common this is. At best I have read that Clash Royale has it too, so, who knows? I don't think it will work here but we must wait and see, I suppose...
That all said, If anybody has any way to cheat or skip waiting times, or only get practice bunny safes while deleting the rest that you don't want, I would really like to hear it below in the comments! Please, do share your methods! 👍

I'm 19y/o. I would say Im a calm person, unless when im tired or when someone angers me. Im the balance between energetic and no energy person. I dont like sticking to one opinion because it feels like im limiting myself, so i guess im open minded. I dont really care about what people think of me unless its about my attitude or if i hurt someone unintentionally. i cant watch kdramas that r js typical, it feels so shallow and cringy. I also like psycho analyzing people. I also overanalyze someone's actions towards me. When i talk about a topic, i mostly talk the generality of it, but sometimes i think about every possible details which makes it hard to commit to one, for example: let’s say someone says you choose your own reality, in a way i get what they mean but i also think abt ppl who actually cant choose their reality. Drake and kendrick dissing each other, my brother asked me whose side im on, which i honestly dont give a crap, because its not connected to me neither i dont care who they are, feels insignificant to waste my brain cells on that thing. I also dont like rude people, like i get you have a painful past but that doesnt excuse how you treat me, i deserve to be treated like a normal human being. The line between right or wrong is kinda hard for me, i think theres no right or wrong in reality, its just based on people’s values and morals. Which ofc i do have.

for right now, i would feel refreshed bc semester just ended and i need to restore my sanity, but if im feeling energetic then i would rather spend it with my friends,

So there’s this girl that I was talking to for like 2 months. We’re both seniors and are going to the same college so it was really easy to bond and throughout the two months we really connected with each other. Like after about a month we were mutually committed to each other and we would talk on the phone all night, talk throughout the day, and be there for each other whenever it was needed. The only real problem is that I tend to overthink a lot, as I’ve had bad anxiety issues in the past. This windiest is compounded by the fact I was played in my last relationship by a girl who said she loved me and swore she was loyal that was talking to other dudes and picked them over me. But anyways, I would try to express how the overthinking made me feel to her but I really wanted to get her on a call because other than seeing her we only exchanged voice notes and never really got on calls. This expanded my intuition and made me think I was getting played so I did some mild research. We follow each other on Ig and she has a lot upwards of a thousand followers, which also set some alarm bells off in my brain because I knew she was most likely lying that I was the only want for her and everything. Also, just through like looking at her post comments, I saw that she still had her ex bfs flirty comments up there for a while when we were talking and that she still followed him, making me think that I was possibly going to be a rebound. Also, based on her TikTok reposts, she was just starting to get over him when she told me they had been done for three months so I didn’t know what to believe. But while we were talking, me and her shared everything with each other like past trauma, current issues, and I play guitar so I would sing love songs to her or send them to her(corny Ik) so she told me that she’s been deeply traumatized in past relationships and that her ex was the worst of them all because he would use her for her body and I think she implied some abuse so I knew to be gentle with her. She also said that no guy had ever put in so much effort to talk to and understand her and that it was so different and special to her. So everything is going good and I really like this girl, like more than anyone before. And like I said, we’re going to the same college so we both like follow the college posting accounts and follow people that are going to be her classmates. So one day, I follow someone a guy in there with my major, but when I do I realize my girl already followed him. So I go back to the college account (which consists of 90% girls) and realize that she hasn’t followed a single girl on there and follows basically every guy. This makes me feel awful because just logically, on an account with 90% girls being posted, can you following every dude but no girls be considered as anything but looking for replacements or new guys to talk to? So in the heat of when I found this out, I send her a pretty stern voice note in a tone I regret asking why she’s following that ratio of girls to guys when she has deemed me as “perfect”, “the one”, and “her favorite ever” and when she’s said we’re locked in and committed and I’ve agreed. Like at this point I wasn’t even looking at other girls anymore so it was really hurtful. So she responds nds with saying she follows everyone(not true) and that I’m reading way too much into this and that she’ll unfollow if there is a problem and now she feels confused and off about me. She also said she knows I don’t trust her now. She said she was going to get gas and after that, she ignored all of my texts for a week but always viewed my stories so I knew she just didn’t want to talk to me. This really breaks my heart because she told me she wasn’t like that and she would never just leave. So after a week, she finally responded and said that “I’m sorry and that I should’ve said something and I didn’t want you to think I left so easily. I have a on my plate rn and you’re such a sweet guy and I really hope this could work in the future but I have too much rn I’m sorry.” So I respond saying that I understand I’m not the most important thing in her life and that I was sorry for making her think I didn’t trust her because I do and I just wanted to understand her pov. I also said that I want to be a safe space for her and that she can communicate that with me bc let’s be honest, no one is too busy to shoot out a 5 second text update. Plus, it was too coincidental it came after our first real negative communication. So it’s been over a week and she still hasn’t responded to me so I assume I’ve been ghosted. I miss her so much and I’ve been trying to move on but I blame myself for this so it’s harder to move on then if I got played. Was that the breakup text she sent? It hinted at the future and I know I shouldn’t take her back but I know I would because of how much I miss her. Was I out of line to question her following because I knew I probably should’ve stayed away from the topic but I wanted to communicate how it made me feel. I feel like she def got a friends opinion and then decided to ghost because she seemed more apologetic at first. Is this even a ghost and did she ever really mean what she said about me being the one for her and her favorite guy ever? 2024.05.21 15:55 Nukemarine Today I finished lesson 8 of Pimsleur Mandarin Chinese, supplemented with Trimsleur, Anki, ACHTT, and previous Japanese study. So far, so good with Hanzi characters being the easiest part of all this.
Was tempted to make a video to show more than tell and still might, but things are still very, very early and always subject to change.
My previous Japanese language study is obviously giving me a big head start. Knew this would be the case when I went to Taiwan a couple of times and could recognize more than a few words which really helped me get around. Obviously pronunciation, vocabulary, and grammar would be radically different, but I was also aware of that. The unknown traditional Hanzi (focusing on that since it's easier given my Japanese study background) will not be the main problem, just the tones and pronunciation and thousands of words using those Hanzi.
Also, I have the benefit of going in with a set plan based on my own experience learning (and re-learning) Japanese using self-study tools: Anki, text analyzers, browser plug-ins, audio books, pop-up dictionaries, etc.
Current plan is as follows: Do the first 90 lessons of the older Pimsleur Mandarin course with serious supplementation:
Again, I'm only on lesson 8 with a handful of vocabulary words under my belt. Still, I can read aloud all eight of the introductory dialogues in traditional Mandarin. I'm also noticing the words as they pop up in Peppa Pig.
Gonna hate moving on to Pimsleur Mandarin part II as there's no transcript. However, there are websites that'll transcribe the Trimsleur audio (and maybe even the Pimsleur if I wanted) which'll simplify doing the lessons like I'm doing now.
After Pimsleur, I plan to do deep dive study methods (read subtitles along with Chinese subs, pausing only to look up meaning of unknown words and phrases), then after 10 hours of reading (at beginning stages this might be only 1 hour of actual Chinese audio) use subs with MorphMan in Anki to get 100 most common words that are within my learned vocab range. All that means is if I know 1,500 words then MorphMan will only look for new words from 3,000 most common that's also the most common in the read material stopping at 100 new words if that before starting reading up again.
Hopefully this all makes sense. Like with Japanese, I'll freely share whatever resources I can and answer whatever questions people have (if I have time). Obviously I'm in the beginning stages so maybe don't expect much.

- Anki - I'm using a transcript (complete for Mandarin I Lessons 1 - 30) and webpage with vocabulary and starting dialogue for all 90 lessons to generate the cards. They'll have English, PinYin, Simplified and Traditional for both the vocabulary and an example sentence. The cards will be two per word - PinYin word/sentence (audio recognition, but I'm not bothering with actual audio for Pimsleur), and English word/Clozed traditional hanzi sentence (production where preferably the English word would instead be an image/Chinese definition).
- Trimsleur - My term for taking Pimsleur lessons and removing the English prompts and long pauses with two second pauses. For a 30 minute lesson, I have a 10 minute pure Chinese audio that's also comprehensible. Meant for comprehensible audio immersion (and repeating/shadowing).
- ACHTT - stands for "All Chinese Half The Time" which is my term for Ken Cannon's suggestion to watch every episode of a show in Japanese twice: once w/ English subs for the comprehension, then once more w/ Chinese subs or no subs for the immersion. I take it one step further by ripping the audio with a program uses the subtitles to remove long non-spoken portions (CIA or compressed immersion audio).
- Review due Anki. For these, I have strict fail and soft fail rules for each card type. "Audio" cards (PinYin word/sentence) I have to know which hanzi are used and the meaning of the word - this is a strict fail. The soft fail (I hit "hard" UNLESS the spacing will be over 6 months) is the stroke order of the hanzi and meaning of the example sentence. The Clozed Delete card I also have know the Mandarin word, it's hanzi, and it's tone for the strict fail. The stroke order and meaning/reading of the clozed deleted Mandarin sentence is a soft fail.
- Do the Pimsleur lesson with the transcript (in part I at least). Pause to initially answer the English prompt then play and repeat the Chinese phrase. When the new word is introduced, go to it's Anki card to add pronunciation notes (the transcript has a few pages of charts for this) along with HanziHero as needed for Hanzi meanings and notes (super important for Hanzi that are new to me). Now, Pimsleur is normally a 30 minute lesson, but doing it this way makes it last about an hour or so.
- Activate the new vocabulary in Anki (custom study option) and see how much is remembered. I set cards to long learning time (1m 10m 1440m 3600m) with graduation done at 1 week. This is also great because Pimsleur cannot tell if I remembered anything or not and balance accordingly. Anki can.
- Watch one episode of Peppa Pig Mandarin at 75% speed with English sub, then rewatch with traditional Chinese subs. Peppa Pig is slowed down because the normal episodes are sped up on purpose in most languages. Any other show I would likely leave at original speed.
- Update my comprehensible immersion audio playlist. It'd be 4 copies of today's Trimsleur lesson, 3 copies of yesterday, 2 copies of two days ago, and 1 copy of three days ago (so Lesson 8 x4, Lesson 7 x3, Lesson 6 x2, Lesson 5 x1). In addition, it'd be the last four days of Peppa Pig ripped audio. This is about two hours of audio in total. I then play these on random, and the most recent lessons are played more often.

An amplifier is not strictly needed but it’s recommended. The Relentless scale pretty well and pair well with warm sources due to their bright nature. Sound signature The Celest Relentless follow a bright V-shaped signature with some treble emphasis and a low-end shelf. If you are looking for a Harman tuned set, you should probably skip this one.
How the stock tips impact the sound signature:
Some comparisons:Celest Relentless vs Simgot EM6LPrice is quite different yet both are hybrids placed between 100$ and 200$. The Relentless have a more robust and more textured the low-end (especially in the midbass region), whereas the EM6L have a richer midrange and more natural male vocals; female vocals, instead, sound more detailed and energetic on the Relentless yet a bit more natural and intimate on the EM6L. Both are kinda bright on top but the treble extension is better on the Relentless, even though the EM6L provide for a slightly smoother transition between the upper midrange and the lower midrange (with less occasions of sibilance). The timbre is nice on both but the EM6L sound a bit more natural, while the Relentless are less accurate from a timbrical perspective yet more fun and technical to listen to, with slightly better instrument separation and a more expansive soundstage. The imaging is not that different and the EM6L compete pretty well in this regard, even though the Relentless have more space to place everything properly and feels more “holographic”. When it comes to the build quality, accessories, cable and isolation, it’s an easy win for the Relentless, even though the smaller size of the EM6L may be better for some people out there.Celest Relentless vs Celest Phoenixcall Different driver configuration yet same company and similar price bracket: ok, let’s do it. The Relentless are brighter but they somehow feel less “thin” in the treble and sound more appealing and “correct” from a timbrical standpoint. In fact, the sub-bass extension is better on the Relentless and provides for a fuller and more engaging sound. The midbass is very good on both sets but the Relentless have better bass textures and better body, whereas the Phoenixcall compete with slightly faster transients when it comes to rapid basslines. The midrange is recessed on both sets but the Relentless do better in terms of vocals: the fuller low-end makes sure that male vocals don’t disappear and the smoother upper midrange emphasis gives more body and energy to female vocals (they sounded thinner and less natural on the Phoenixcall due to the earlier emphasis followed by a dip). The detail retrieval is very good on both sets too, but the Relentless are more proficient and pack a better treble extension (they also cost more, so it was expected). Soundstage is wider and deeper on the Relentless, whereas the height is similar. Imaging is better on the Relentless. The Relentless come with a slightly more versatile cable, but when it comes to build quality, isolation and comfort, they are comparable (even though the smaller shells of the Phoenixcall will appeal to more people).Celest Relentless vs Simgot EA1000 Not really fair to compare a hybrid setup with a single DD set, but let’s try anyway. In terms of timbre/tonality, bass body/depth and vocals, there’s no competition: the EA1000 just sound like a more mature set. From a technical perspective, though, the Relentless compete quite well: the sub-bass has better extension, the bass is very speedy and it’s well textured (yet not as full bodied as on the EA1000), there’s lots of detail, the treble extension is very good (eveN though slightly less natural than on the EA1000) and both imaging and soundstage are slightly more clinical than on the EA1000. It’s unfair to compare these since the EA1000 avoid any incoherence that could come from the usage of different drivers, but it’s also true that the Relentless is not getting completely destroyed (which is good news). I would still pick the EA1000 hands down (it’s a more natural set with much better bass quality, richer mids and they also have that effortless way to reproduce every track correctly) but the Relentless really show Celest’s ability to keep up with proficient driver implementations. Anyways, the target is slightly different: those who want a single DD IEM will still pick a single DD IEM and those who search for a hybrid will only want that. When it comes to cable, accessories and isolation, the Relentless win hands down, whereas the EA1000 look like a slightly more premium set and come in a smaller-sized shell. Final ThoughtsAfter the so-so Pandamon 2.0, Celest managed to score a very nice goal. The Celest Relentless are yet another proof that Celest know how to properly fit and implement different drivers without actually killing the overall cohesiveness. For sure, there is still room for improvement (i.e. the occasional sibilance and the slight touch of BA timbre), but the overall sound is pleasant and smooth for a hybrid configuration and the technical performance is up to the expectations for a 150$-200$ hybrid set. It will be hard to recommend these to those who don’t like bright IEMs or V-shaped tunings, but except for those people everyone else will find the Relentless a fun and technically proficient IEM that will provide for very engaging and musical listening sessions. |

2024.05.21 15:48 Ophelious0918 My 8 years old female Daschung suddenly refuse to go to her crate to sleep. Should I be worry ?
Some context: I had three Daschund. One of them grew old and die a natural death around two months ago. The remaining two are one 8yrs old female and one 6yrs old male. All of them are crate trained, I just need to call and they will go to their crate each night to sleep.
For the last two weeks the female dog refuse to go to her crate, even if I have to drag her to her crate and lock it. She will whine a lot and jump around, wanting to be let out. I try to ignore her for one week and it’s still the same. She will settle down for a couple hour but will return to her whining. She never bark while inside her crate.
She is in good health, eat well, play well only her sleeping has been an issue. I’m scratching my head here don’t know what to do. I will let both dog sleep outside their crate for today and see. But should I be worry because of this change in her behavior ?
An additional note: it is raining season in my country so we have rain almost every evening now. It has never been a problem for her for the past 8 years we have been together thought.

Cambodia to me is just full of scams. From the Chinese-run crypto scam centers near the Thailand border, to the Cambodians not accepting worn USD, trying to swap your USD with fake bills, or just over charging foreigners.
Then there is the main 7-Eleven near Pub Street in downtown Siem Reap. Check the Google Maps Reviews for this place. The only 7-Eleven in the world that does not take credit cards. Cash only. They want cash only and will short-change you every chance they get and likely split the "stolen money" each day amongst themselves. Often if you pay with large USD notes, they will give you back some USD and some Cambodian Reil but it won't be the right amount. I realized later I was short changed and also over charged for my purchases. Something told me the price and change was off but silly me for thinking 7-Eleven is trustworthy and would not cheat me and damage their reputation. They never give you the receipt and even the little security guy is in on the scam if you think he will help you.
I won't be spending much money the rest of my trip. I don't trust anyone. I rented a scooter to transport myself around, will only pay in Reil, and won't be buying anything from the desperate shops and dirty kids. I will just eat and drive myself to free sites. This poor country can rot in hell.

Billie Eilish also goes through an artistic evolution with her new album. It’s a clear step in a new direction that is also rooted in her previous discography. The sounds and tones and notes and melodies are a nod to the artist’s past while stepping into the artist’s future. Everything on it sounds fresh and new. TTPD is beyond trite because it is the exact same sound and melodies we’ve heard from Taylor for quite some time. It’s tired. It’s old. It shows that she has no real talent as a serious artist. She’s just a commodity to be bought and sold.

These documents are all available via Google, at least they were, if they were taken down I have a physical copy at home just in case.
Anyway, I digress. Years after learning about this, that it was even possible, I went on a spiritual journey. I was researching and learning about all different religions. I really became enthralled with the occult and trying to find out if it was real, and this ultimately lead me to the light. However, on my journey, I read this novel - "Out of the Devil's Cauldron". It is a true account about a former high-ranking warlock by the name of John Ramirez who came to Christ after being largely involved in the religion called Santeria. In the book John describes astral projection as a main channel that he and his brothers and sisters using the witchcraft practices would use to attack people. He states very simply in the book that astral projection is demonic and that the only thing cohabitating there are demons which are looking for humans to latch onto.
Anyhow, his account is very telling. This lead me to more research. I found many personal accounts of former witches and warlocks claiming the exact same thing. I understand this is a lot of information at once, and I'm not asking anyone to believe it. I just want you to hear my personal account of the information I've gathered over the years and the deductions I've made. Please know I am certainly not pushing Christianity on anyone.
I guess I wonder, are there people here who have encountered things during their projections that didn't feel inherently good with their spirit? Are there times you were scared or felt danger?

I'm mentally and emotionally struggling for almost 5 months now. I prepared my suicide notes, but contemplated for my dogs (2) and now I'm trying to look in rehoming them. They're the only reason I haven't proceeded with every suicide plan I have. I tried asking for help from facilities but since I always give vague answers to my parents as to how am I feeling, because telling anyone else about what I'm going through is so damn hard. Now, they want me to stop going back to that facility stating that I am fine anyway. I also stopped the medication that I was prescripted with since I quit my job months ago and I have no money left.
I have no one to talk to, literally. I deactivated most of my social media accounts and just thinking of other ways to end my life. I want my misery to end.

Dave Mustaine knows how to write a heavy melodic groove and he is unapologetic in his beliefs and integrity of metal music. Some people complain about his voice but I always like it. Rust In Peace is considered their best album. I prefer their second album Peace Sells. Maybe someday we will get around and talk about that one. I am just happy a greatest album list includes metal music as lists like the Rolling Stone and Apple completely disregard the genre. The album opens with “Holy Wars…The Punishment Due” right away that heavy dense Megadeth sound blasts out onto your speakers. The song is inspired by the Northern Ireland movement to break away from the UK. the song is also inspired by the Marvel Character The Punisher. “Hangar 18” has the chop[y fast riff that encompasses the whole song. The song of course is about the mysterious base in Arizona that is supposed to house UFOs. The chorus is one of the catchiest the band will ever record. This is top tier Megadeth. “Take No Prisoners” has this heavy dense speed metal groove. It is just unrelenting in its heaviness, a perfect title for this track. I think Take No Prisoners, Take No Shit is Mustaine’s mantra. “Five Magics” is one of the few times that Megadeth have ventured into fantasy lyrically. David Ellefson has some great bass lines on this track. “Poison Was The Cure '' tackles Mustiane’s alcohol and heroin addiction. “Lucretia” is about a ghost that lived in Mustaine attic who he would visit every night. It has these high end guitar tones that I love. “Tornado Of Souls” is about the breakup between Mustaine and his then fiance. Marty Friedman has one of the great metal guitar solos ever on this track. “Dawn Patrol” is a quick, dense track. Mustaine's voice is as low as it could possibly go and Elfefson bass and drummer Menza rhythms rule this track. The album closes with “Rust In Peace ...Polaris” addresses one of the band’s favorite topics: Nuclear destruction. Polaris is a type of nuclear missile. The title was inspired by a bumper sticker Munstaine saw that said may all your Nuclear weapons rust in peace. If I am going to put together Metal albums everyone should listen to I am going to put this one near the top of that list. It deserves all the praise it gets plus more. These early Megadeth albums were so amazing. They hold up decades later.
