2011.10.21 07:10 gigamechawolf Fire Emblem Fans Engage!

A subreddit to discuss the Fire Emblem series of games, and associated media. Fire Emblem is a fantasy tactical role-playing video game franchise developed by Intelligent Systems and published by Nintendo. Is there any way I can edit a popup without making it in a separate scene

like, i don't want the line edit to be in the center
The reason I don't want the popup to be a separate scene is because it just doesn't seem to interact with the original level?
I want there to be a correct answer inputed in the line edit, if this happens, something will appear on screen. But it just...does not work if the pop up is its whole separete scene? So I think having the popup be in the same scene with everything else will fix that problem
please explain it to me in the simplest most detailed way possible as I'm very new, many thanks!

2024.05.21 21:12 highmastdon SV06: One side too close and the other side too far from the bed, bed leveling is bogus

SV06: One side too close and the other side too far from the bed, bed leveling is bogus
TLDR; bed leveling doesn't work, the bed isn't level when printing. Either the mesh is wrong, lidarr is wrong, somehow the extruder weighs more during printing on x-low and weighs less on x-high :'), or the wheight changes when doing mesh detection, some antigravity field pulling tricks. Either way, I'm out of ideas...
So I got my SV06 for quite some time now. Had no issues earlier, maybe I was just printing smaller objects. However, I've tried to get my first layer done right, because prints are falling over when around 6-7cm height, but it doesn't get attached to the bed properly. It used to work fine, but at some point it got all off. This really annoys me also because bigger prints are warping up
So what have I tried
  • Level x axis with the bed using the two cans method
  • I've used a test print to verify whether it's working (9 squares of 0.20mm height with 5mm brims), and the result is off putting.
  • Installed a new nozzle
  • Cleaned the bed with dish soap and water
  • I used to use the bilinear bed leveling, but that didn't work out
  • Now I'm using UBL. See output below (you can use https://i.chillrain.com/index.php/3d-printer-auto-bed-leveling-mesh-visualize to visualize).
  • I did a M48 - Probe Repeatability Test. The deviation is 0.000559... which is barely anything, so the measurement should be alright

2024.05.21 21:12 NurseWizzle Does this exist? Extension cord that will trip before a breaker?

So here's the deal. I have one outlet out on my deck that all my power tools are connected to during use. I don't use them all at the same time of course. But a few times using my table saw ends up tripping the breaker. It rarely happens, really only if I'm trying to rip some very hard wood.
The problem is, the breaker that trips is also the one our network rack is connected to. When the breaker trips, our Internet goes down until we get it back up. No big deal, except we both WFH.
I think what we're going to end up doing is moving the network rack into the other office. The problem is that part of us being able to get that stuff set up in the way we're planning requires getting some of this woodworking stuff done first.
So what I'm wondering is, is there something like a power cord with a fuse or breaker that would trip right there at the source so the breaker in the house won't trip?
Edit: I think I figured out as soon as I hit send why this won't work in the way I originally thought but I'm curious what you all have to say. My new thinking is that the circuit breaks when the current in the whole circuit hits a certain level. The breaker doesn't know or care what it is. In order for this to work I think whatever I used outside would have to be set to trip at a lower threshold than what the whole circuit as a whole would trip at.

2024.05.21 21:10 BleepBlimpBop $RILY DD: Long List of Short Seller Claims --- DEBUNKED with proof!

Ever-shifting Short Seller Claims

The short sellers attacking RILY in 2023-2024 have been relentless (currently 57% of float sold short per FinViz), with an ever-shifting list of wild accusations.
It's sickening to watch them compile a never-ending list of baseless wild theories and claims to support their short positions, which are demonstrably false. But as each is proved false, they pivot to new claims, and/or change the goalposts.
The sheer volume of shifting claims makes it hard to track how despotic they are with their "platform," and how many falsehoods they've spun. Even for someone who watched it in real-time, for almost a year

Compiled & Debunked

Sunlight kills vampires. To that end, I've compiled a list of (i) claimants (ii) claims (iii) reality (iv) definitive source proving reality.

Why Did They Target RILY?

One of the most vocal short sellers, Nate Koppikar (who also introduced Marc Cohodes to the "opportunity") has a fund Orso Partners. Based on their SEC registration document, this is their investment thesis:
"The Account’s investment objectives are to achieve capital appreciation primarily by identifying and selling short marketable equity securities of underfollowed and complex companies with misleading or corrective disclosures through a research-intensive process. The Account employs a short-biased investment strategy with an emphasis on primarily small to mid-cap companies that are underfollowed and complex (i.e., companies with market capitalizations of less than $5 billion which the market does not yet have a wellformed bull and/or bear perspective)."
RILY fits their description. The icing on the cake was the relatively large market cap, and the relatively small float. Given extremely high insider ownership (32.9% of shares per the proxy), and limitations on when and how insiders can trade, the "free float" of the stock (i.e., the shares that regularly trade) is very small for the size of the company. Moreover, the setup would only get better - given insiders have consistently used their free cash to buy additional shares hand-over-fist (further reducing the float).
That meant, with relatively small amounts of capital, the short sellers could shove around the stock price. That ability to move price opens another profit avenue - taking large derivative positions (buying puts, and selling calls), and shoving the price (or allowing it to drift up) to profit all along the way. It looked so good, the stock has been the highest-shorted on the US indices for several months. Even after the release of the 10-K, shares remain "hard to borrow" with elevated borrow fees.

Debunked Claims

The claims made by vocal short sellers could fill a book. Most were outrageous and fanciful when they were proposed. Virtually all have objectively debunked. This isn't a comprehensive list, as their claims are too numerous and varied. But it paints an illuminating picture.
With a track record this poor, one would expect the short sellers to exit - rather than continuing to spin new narratives. Perhaps the continued attacks are their exit strategy to avoid bankruptcy... Well, #Bullish.
With the highest short interest of all US stocks (albeit likely decreased from the highs of ~76% of the float), I think this is more than ripe for a return to fair value - or well above, if a short squeeze occurs.
Note: this sub disallows image posts. There is a similar post in the RILYStock sub which contains virtually all source images for the claim in the comments (too many images to embed in the post). The source images are illuminating.
Note that the list below deliberately excludes three types of posts/claims from the short sellers:
A) Juvenile personal attacks and attempts to character assassinate and dox a long list of people (RILY CEO, RILY new hires, RILY clients, Marcum the auditor, Marcum's lead audit professional, any firm or individual publicly posting a bull thesis on RILY, etc.).
B) Those that make no objective claims, but simply exist as a product of malicious degeneracy (like pictures of roasted pigs in ovens labeled Bryant Riley the CEO, photoshopped pictures of the CEO in prison chains next to convicted felons, video of an obese woman barely able to walk being gored by a bull labeled Mrs. Riley the CEO's wife, etc.).
C) Those that are impossible for short sellers to know, and impossible to objectively verify (e.g., Marc Cohodes claiming a single RILY trader front runs the CEOs personal short trades in front of clients taking following the firm's bullish advice on those stocks, to guarantee profits).

2024.05.21 21:10 Broad-Telephone6391 I lost all exitement or will to play Cata/MoP remix, is it just me?

Hey, so I was very excited for cata launch I pre-leveled, pre BIS my char for cata launch, months before.
I even bought cataclysm mount since I thought it's limited edition, and looks kinda nice, something I never do with microtransactions. But since all the BC, Wotlk mounts got dicontinued I thought to get in, before it's gone. And 35$ for a mount lol, I could get a game on release on steam for that.
But then I saw asmongold video about them releasing in-game store on cata/(possibly SoD i guess?),
and there they were the "limited edition" mounts.
Is it just blizzard that don't want to keep limited edition sacred? I love getting limited edition fomo things in games usually in-game achievable
I don't see any future for wow anymore, the LAZY greed blizzard has, i don't wanna play it even.
1st. GREED because in-game store,
2nd. LAZY they couldn't make different store mounts with all their huge budget, they couldnt afford to give 1 developer to develop on weekend a new mount, no they had to use the ones that people bought heroic whatever editions for.
It feels like WoW has no future how much they're milking and squeezing it, with dying playerbase and no younger generations trying it. There's no point to even grind mop to get "limited edition" mounts skins etc.
Now I can't even find a motivation to pay for sub, I honestly just wanna go play OSRS, FF14 or whatever else.
Is it just me that feels this way from cata in-game store? Like the whole disguisting greed, breaks immersion so no limited edition mount or whatever grindable in game or not has any meaning anymore.

2024.05.21 21:08 jgtor Promotional Offers

I was wanting to implement promotional offers in my app, behind a 'spin-the-wheel' type interface. Maybe you get 3 months free, or 10% discount etc. Now, I'm targeting new users here and Apple docs on promotional offers tell me "The App Store deems all customers with an existing or expired subscription in the app eligible to redeem a promotional offer" - now clearly new users won't have an existing subscription receipt. Now, I'm fine to do the eligibility criteria myself, generate the signature and present an offer; but if app store is just going to kick everyone and say "nope, you're not a expired customer, you not having the offer" then it won't really work.
Apple's recommendation is to use introductory offers, but this would apply to all new subscribers and I couldn't distinguish between a 10% discount and a 3 months free user.
Then I could setup different subscription products and just be selective about when I present them. But that gives a list of in-app purchases on the app store page and if users see a list: [Monthly @ $9.99, Monthly @ $8.99] that's confusing & misleading even for users. I suppose I could setup everything @ $9.99 and then use introductory pricing within the promotional subscription product, then I'd get a still inflated list in app store but more consistent pricing (e.g. [Monthly @ $9.99, Monthly @ $9.99]). I wonder if this would introduce any vulnerability that allow user to make purchase outside of the app and opt them into the most preferential subscription?
I know Apple is all about random & arbitrary restrictions, but not allowing the use of promotional offers for new users is just a whole level of crazy, when (I understand) they work well for running for a promotional duration then transitioning user over to standard pricing.
Ideas what I do for the best of me? Thanks!

2024.05.21 21:04 UndeadRedditing Not excusing their mistakes with the Sega Saturn but Sega of Japan's boneheaded approach of Japan-Fist and misunderstanding foreign markets isn't unique to them and is actually a wider problem of the Japanese Business World (as seen with Sunrise and Gundam)

Sega of Japan deserves all the criticisms for their idiocy of overtaking the dictatorship of the wider Sega company and running the company down because they tried to manage the global markets without understanding the cultures behind them and basing their actions upon the tastes of the Japanese market. On top of putting their eggs in one baskets and obsessively trying to make the Saturn king of Japan's console industry................
However there's a gigantic misconception on the internet by understandably P$!%ed off Western gamers that Sega of Japan's boneheaded run of the company is some unique kind of stupidity unmatched in history.........
Actually there's bad news and its that this is actually a big problem in the Japanese business world especially among companies that are domestic giants such as Konami.
And I'll start with one of my favorite franchises. Mobile Suite Gundam.
Back in the late 90s and early 2000s the most recent iteration of the franchise Mobile Suit Gundam Wing aired on the Toonami block on Cartoon Network. And to say it was a massive success. It was easily Toonami's most watched program after Dragon Ball Z and Sailor Moon and there would be profitable sales of Gundam Wing figures in American major retailers like K-Mart and kB Toys during the show's run. There was more demand for further Gundam content. Easy pathway to creating a juggernaut in the anime industry in America right?
Well the immediate followup to Gundam Wing was....... The original Gundam. Form the 1970s. I'm not kidding. The studios that makes Gundam Sunrise made this choice.
Massive gigantic bomb in America. Even Toonami's less popular programs like Ronin Warriors hard much higher viewerships.
The show's reason for flopping was that the original Gundam looked just so outdated with its animation being 70s flair. The original Gundam is actually superior to Wing in almost every other way especially the overall plot...... But the animation looked so old nobody wanted to watch it.
Why did Sunrise choose to follow up Wing which was their latest installment just before Turn A which was actually running in Japan during the same time Toonami was airing Wing in America?
In Japan the specific continuity the first original Gundam series follows, the UC timeline, is the handsdown most popular canon. The first two sequels Zeta (the Gundam series with the highest ratings ever in the history of the franchise within Japan) and ZZ formed a trilogy with the original Gundam of interlinking stories that culminates and concluded most the unresolved arcs in the original Gundam along with a slew of entwined movies and OVAs (think miniseries in Western terms). Basically the UC timeline is so big in Japan that we still get new stories every couple of years focused on specific characters, incidents, and so much more as well. Ask the general populace about Gundam and its the robot suits and characters of the UC timeline such as Amuro Rey and the Zaku robots and the that they immediately picture in their heads when they think Gundam similar to how the vast bulk of Star Wars fans below 16 always associates the franchise with Luke, Princess Leia, Chewbacca, Obi Wan, and Anakin/Darth Vader and the iconic scenes are teh Death Star onscreen and lightsaber fights.
So in Sunrise's head, not only was the first Gundam a guaranteed success in America but that they had to follow it up with it because the UC is the heart and soul of the entire franchise. The studios sincerely believed that with the original Gundam's even better and more complicated storyline that crowds will flock to watch it every weekday on Toonami...........
Failing to realize that a prime part of what made Wing so impressionable on Western audiences was the visuals of space battles and the awareness of the mobile suits in action. The complicated story of Gundam Wing (for the standards of Western animation on TV was definitely a component that made kids stick to the end but what attracted them in the first place was awesome onscreen actions like Heero escaping capture and knocking out a bunch of men on the way with kicks and piloting the Gundam for the first time to demolish tanks and humvees and a division of soldiers within seconds.
Sunrise did not get this point. They mistakenly assumed that teens and children in the West would have understood the original Gundam's anti war storyline entwined with lots of politics and drama was something that was darn complicated for an American 12 year old to get. They failed to get that the West's TV animation scene was extremely tame hell mainstream afternoon Network Television overall even live action was pretty much PG in content and something like Gundam was definitely pushing it for timeslots for minors including teens. That issues like killing children in a mass bombardment with permanent arm crippling even decapitation was only started to be accepted on afternoon teen soap opera and Saturday morning cartoon timeslots.
That it was pretty tame (by modern standards) live action shows with lots of cool visual action that was bloodless and usually PG like Hercules The Legendary Journeys and its sister spinoff Xena and Buffy the Vampire Slayer that the teen range was watching in addition to laughably corny stuff (but still having cool colorful onscreen effects) like GI Joe making the center of children's animation.
When the original Gundam flopped Sunrise took around 2 years to realize their mistake and released G Gundam. An incarnation of the series around the premise of Robots dueling each other in a tournament of gladiatorial fights. Thats an understatement G Gundam takes the whole premise to another level by making the Gundam robots fight with the speed, fluidity, and magical abilities of Dragon Ball Z. Kung Fu with giant Robots.
But the damage was done. While G Gundam did a hell lot better than the original Gundam, interest in the franchise has waned by then and in turn merchandise sales which Sunrise makes its bulk profits from were nowhere as profitable in America as Wing was. When Sunrise attempted to bring over their newer series such as Seed (which was massively popular in Japan even far more than Gundam Wing and G Gundam which already were considered hits by the studios) it was canceled from the maintime slot shortly afterwards and the ret of the series was put on death slots. The momentum had ceased. And not helping was that by that point other mech anime such as FLCL also aired on Toonami and fellow rival franchises like Zoids were begin imported.
Basically by now Gundam had looked generic to the Western audience esp Americans. The next wave of new anime fans in the 2000s was a disadvantaged market because the novelty of Gundam Wing being the first mech anime was not there for future Gundam installments. Gundam has fallen so out of the anime Zeitgeist that whatever we got in the future aired on lesser known channels like Color TVs or came in DVD releases if not even localised at all only being available on fansubs.
The worst part? When Gundam Wing ended its run on Toonami, Turn A Gundam, their newest incarnation with even better animation and just as much awesome moments of one giant mech destroying a an army of other mechs in addition to divisions of tanks and infantry, had just finished airing in Japan. By all logic it should have been a no brainer to snatch this as the followup to Wing right?
But not to Sunrise because Turn A was one of the lesser popular incarnations at that point. Because the UC was so the face of the franchise in Japan so it must succeed in America and the rest of the world no?
Does this sound familiar? Simply to put Japanese companies have a gigantic issues of failing to realize that what succeeds in Japan is not applicable elsewhere. And that given the chance to they'll even try to micro manage even something as loose in concept as franchise licensing in other countries.
OK thats an exaggeration I just said but my point ist he horrible mishandling of the Sega Saturn outside of Japan isn't really some 1 in a billion lottery ticket level of stupidity. Sega of Japan's screwups is actually quite typical of companies that succeeded domestically but never did anything in other markets that then decide to expand to outside markets beyond Japan. The Gundam example was so already long that I don't feel like typing anymore but boy oh boy there are a gazillion examples you can find if you do your googling from Konami's early mishandling of the Yu-Gi-Oh TCG as well as their shift to focusing on Pachinko and Pachislot much to the dismay of Western gamers esp fans of MGS and Silent Hill. And so much more.
Simply Sega of Japan isn't uniquely stupid. Its a perfect symptom many issues of the business world in Japan.

2024.05.21 21:00 UndeadRedditing Not excusing their mistakes with the Sega Saturn but Sega of Japan's boneheaded approach of Japan-Fist and misunderstanding foreign markets isn't unique to them and is actually a wider problem of the Japanese Business World (as seen with Sunrise and Gundam)

2024.05.21 20:58 Wonderful_Lock_7171 Hesychasm pushing me to leave Orthodoxy - MODs plz have mercy on me, genuine inquiry

Hi all, as the title says Hesychasm has "pushed" me towards leaving the EO Church. It may seem like a minor thing to leave EO over, but for me I've been torn between EO and RC for some time now and this issue is the "smoking gun" (imo). Let me explain my line of thinking and please correct me where/if I'm wrong or misinformed.
EO and RC split around 1054, RC proceeds to introduce some "new" additions to the faith (Purgatory, Immaculate Conception etc.) but nothing that is necessarily that impactful on a day to day basis. (E.g. whether or not Mary was immaculately conceived doesn't weigh on my conscious daily and doesn't really impact my prayer life or spiritual life in a meaningful way). I understand that there are obviously doctrines that do impact RC lives daily (e.g. indulgences) but I still believe this is on a minor scale compared to my next point. EO on the other hand, kept their traditions mostly the same after the split with a few minor additions of their own as well. That was UNTIL the Palamas/Hesychasm debates in the 14th Century. During this era of EO history, the EO monks began to embrace some very odd practices involving breathe work, postures (i.e. yoga), meditation, and supposedly began seeing the "uncreated light of God". These practices very obviously are identical to the pagan practices we see in yoga and Islam etc. and were foreign to The Faith until after the split when the EO embraced them. Barlaam the theologian/monk and scholar proceeds to condemn these practices as unorthodox and Palamas is considered a heretic until that decision is overturned and eventually EO embrace Palamas and his Hesychasm teachings, and I believe Barlaam went on to convert to RC afterward. That's a very abridged version, but all that to say, if EO fully embraced this teaching that by sitting in a certain yoga poses, tucking your chin in, breathing through the diaphragm, and navel gazing will provide Christians with the possible ability to "see God", isn't this a MAJOR erroneous development in our tradition? I get it, RC introducing Purgatory is a tough pill to swallow, but doesn't that at least stay within the parameters of Christian faith comparatively speaking to our "side" that accepted full blown demonically centered yoga? I think at the time in the 1350s all the Christian/Hindu/Buddhist/Islamic monks doing this practice were having experiences, but I think as the science has caught up in the 21st Century, we're kinda left with egg on our face as we now know it isn't "God" they were seeing, but was due to the blood flow and oxygen levels that are manipulated by meditative yoga. If an atheist can reproduce this identical experience as many do through meditation/yoga, then we know it wasn't a supernatural experience as Palamas and ultimately EO doctrinal defined it.
All that to say, if anyone has 15 mins to watch this clip from 2:06-17:26 (Youtub = Eastern "Orthodoxy" Exposed: Their Heretical Doctrine of God - by Vaticancatholic.com) outlining these practices in Hesychams and teachings of Palamas I'd love to hear a thoughtful rebuttal (FYI the content creator is uncharitable and difficult to stomach at times, but his historical account/quotes are spot on according to reputable Orthodox online resources I've found). I don't want to leave EO but feel as though if our fathers got it THIS wrong in this area and embraced full blown pagan demonic yogi practices and affirmed it in our "Spirit lead" synods/councils, then we are in grave error and thus prone to error in other areas as well (i.e. the Papacy perhaps?). Accepting the Pope has spoken infallibly 5-10 times over the last 2000 yrs has been much easier for me to accept then EO fundamentally shifting to a Palamas-ish theology. And honest question, if this has become part of the EO tradition, how many of you actually practice this? Seriously, if we can potentially "see God" tonight through breathwork and special postures, why wouldn't we do this daily? (I have a sneaking suspicion most of us don't participate in this practice because something within us knows better).
Thank you in advance! And if you don't have time to watch the clip, here are the major quotes that I see as being irreconcilable for the EO:
“Striking parallels exist between the physical techniques recommended by the Byzantine Hesychasts and those employed in Hindu Yoga and in Sufism” - Bishop Timothy (Kallistos) Ware
“It was Gregory’s achievement to set Hesychasm on a firm dogmatic basis by integrating it into Orthodox theology as a whole. His teaching was confirmed by two councils held at Constantinople in 1341 and 1351, which, although local and not Ecumenical, yet possess a doctrinal authority in Orthodox theology scarcely inferior to the seven general councils themselves.” - Bishop Timothy (Kallistos) Ware
“One of the most thoroughgoing attempts in the history of Christian spirituality to ascribe a positive and dynamic role to the body during prayer was made by the fourteenth-century hesychasts. As an accompaniment to the recitation of the Jesus prayer they proposed a physical technique that has obvious parallels in yoga and among the Sufis of Islam.” - Bishop Timothy (Kallistos) Ware
"How should such a one not gain great profit if, instead of letting his eye roam…he should fix it on his breast or on his navel, as a point of concentration?...he will also, by disposing his body in such a position, recall into the interior of the heart a power which is ever flowing outwards…” - Gregory Palamas, The Triads
“By fixing one’s gaze on one’s navel and resting one’s chin on one’s breast, one could make one’s breathing coincide with the repetition of the prayer.”- Hesychast Monk's instructions
“Just as the aspirant in Yoga is taught to concentrate his thought in specific parts of his body, so the Hesychast concentrates his thought in the cardiac centre.” - Hesychast Monk's instructions
"Rest your beard on your chest, and focus your physical gaze, together with the whole of your intellect, upon the center of your belly or your navel.” - Hesychast Monk's instructions

Ken Konkin, P.Geo. President & CEO of Goldstorm Metals comments: "Field crews have been mobilized to the area in preparation for the 2024 Exploration Program. The focus will be to follow up on last year's extremely positive precious and base metal results from the reconnaissance sampling and drilling programs. Our crews will begin with the Electrum project, then move on to the larger Crown property later in the summer. The drilling plan at Electrum will attempt to expand the known gold-silver hydrothermal stockwork breccia system laterally and at depth. Reconnaissance crews will also further evaluate and trace the numerous newly discovered zones throughout both claim groups. In the southern portion of the Electrum Property, we will focus on expanding areas with high-grade gold and silver intercepts within a sheeted vein complex, peripheral to a dome-shaped hydrothermal stockwork gold and silver breccia system. From the 11 drill holes that tested Electrum targets last year, nine holes targeted the high-grade gold and silver parallel sheeted vein complex with coarse-grained native gold occurring in drill hole EL-23-08 at 146.5 m depth over 0.5 m that carried 75.30 g/t gold with 19.27 g/t silver yet a much higher grade intercept was encounter near surface in the same hole at 12.0-12.5 m depth that yielded 233.50 g/t gold with 756.0 g/t silver over 0.50 m. The goal is to continue the discovery and development of high-grade precious and base metal targets, in addition to expanding large intrusive related bulk-tonnage disseminated/veinlet and porphyry type targets, similar to nearby discoveries along trend to the north including Treaty Creek-KSM as well as the Valley of the Kings and West Zone Deposits of the Brucejack system."
Electrum 2023 Drilling Program Summary
During the 2023 exploration season, Goldstorm Metals completed an 11-hole drill program totaling 2,581 meters at Electrum. This program was successful in intercepting both high-grade vein-type and porphyry style gold-silver mineralization (see press releases dated October 4th, 2023, and November 14, 2023). Building on these results, future drilling is expected to target the expansive bulk-tonnage gold-silver hydrothermal breccia stockwork system encountered in holes EZ-23-01 and EZ-23-02, and the high-grade gold-silver intercepts observed in holes EZ-23-08 and EZ-23-11.

  • All assay values are uncut and intervals reflect drilled intercept lengths.
  • HQ diameter core samples were sawn in half and typically sampled at standard 1.5 m intervals.
  • True widths have not been determined as the mineralized body remains open in all directions. Further drilling is required to determine the mineralized body orientation and true widths.
Crown 2023 Program Summary
In 2023, field crews conducted exploration activities on the Crown Property, including an extensive reconnaissance sampling effort that led to the discovery of four new mineralized zones. These zones, located on the Orion Concession (the Copernicus Zone) and the Fairweather Concession (the Launch, Galileo, and Triton Zones), produced very positive sampling results.
The findings from these zones are as follows:
  • The Copernicus Zone: a continuous channel sample line comprised of six samples (OR-23-02), that averaged 0.14 g/t gold, 57.0 g/t silver, 1.71% copper, 0.015% cobalt, and 0.15% zinc over 5.15 meters (m), (see Company press release dated November 27, 2023);
  • The Launch Zone: representative chip sampling within this area returned 1.95 g/t gold, 15.09 g/t silver, 0.12% copper over 3.0 m and 4.6 g/t gold, 118.5 g/t silver, 0.83% copper over 2.0 m;
  • The Galileo Zone: a grab sample returned 1.18 g/t gold, 2,656 g/t silver, 0.55% copper, 7.65% lead, and 5.03% zinc;
  • The Triton Zone: a grab sample returned 8.3 g/t gold and 48.8 g/t silver, (see Company press release dated January 24, 2024).
During the upcoming 2024 field season, Goldstorm Metals will continue to focus on developing high-grade precious and base-metal targets and plan for the potential start-up of the first ever drill program on the Copernicus Zone. Details of this program will be finalized ahead of the 2024 drilling season.

2024.05.21 20:57 UndeadRedditing Not excusing their mistakes with the Sega Saturn but Sega of Japan's boneheaded approach of Japan-Fist and misunderstanding foreign markets isn't unique to them and is actually a wider problem of the Japanese Business World (as seen with Sunrise and Gundam)

2024.05.21 20:32 Carobu Never-ending load screen and inability to reconnect to game

I've been having a bug that started about 3 months ago and hasn't stopped since. It's made the game nearly impossible to play. It effects a friend of mine on nearly the same hardware as well, and it seems to happen more frequently when I play with him, or when him/I host the lobby. If one of our other friends host it, the issue doesn't seem to occur as often, if at all.
I've uninstalled the game completely, multiple times. Reinstalled the game, the only thing that seems to have any impact is going into my user folder and deleting the entire thing and all the shader caches. It is extremely annoying as it's to the point now where every 2-3 games I get this crash and I'm stuck at the load screen forever.
When viewing the game log, the only thing I can find is a CryCloud error (messageid: 441) 10, and if you watch the log, it gets to loading just sits there...forever.

REPORT AN ERROR

2024.05.21 20:20 sofabased Why did my solicitor not inform me of Chancel Liability "Potential Liability"?

I complete next week after a long exchange period. I just asked for all my searches documents to be sent over for my future reference. I opened up the Chancel Report document and it says "Potential Liability" in red, "It has been determined that the property is located in a historical parish or tithe district containing a record of Chancel Liability".
I'm shocked as this hadn't come up at all during the legal process, and I'm doing this alone so it didn't occur to me I might need to ask every single possible question during enquiries. I thought this information would be reported back to me, especially as I paid for this search as an additional extra.
The report is by Pinpointchancel. Is there a reason this wasn't reported to me e.g. is this a common thing that doesn't mean anything unless it's set in stone? Had I been notified I'd have asked for insurance to be paid by the seller (is this usually the case? Or does the buyer need to pay for it?)
Edit: just found another "negative" but I don't even know what it means: "Records indicate that there are water mains, resource mains or discharge pipes within the boundaries of the property".
I feel so sick and upset. It took me ages to get over the property being on an unadopted road but these issues seem like they carry huge "potential" cost implications. How has none of this been reported to me? I feel my solicitors have been so poor, they didn't provide any clarity on my unadopted road situation either - I had to nudge them at the last minute before exchange to request indemnity policy top up after reviewing documents myself. So scared about what else may be missing. Please do help if you can. I'm at wit's end after 6 months of this process and still discovering new information, wishing I just stuck with rented at this point.
