This past year I received a save the date from an old friend from high school. I was excited and flattered to receive it and more than anything, surprised. Other friends from that group were getting engaged or married and I wasn’t getting invited to anything because I just haven’t kept up with those people over the last few years. Which is normal, I wouldn’t expect to be invited to a wedding for someone I haven’t actually seen in 1-2 years. So in this case, I was particularly surprised. However one thing that put a bad taste in my mouth was that they excluded +1s.
I find this sort of odd, only because the wedding is being held in a location where it was much cheaper to have one and it’s at a location with no direct flights to it, at least from where most of the people I know currently live. At first i felt slighted that my girlfriend of over 2 years was excluded because I was invited to the bachelor party. I ended up going, having paid the $300 for the air BnB before finding out I couldn’t bring her. I talked to a closer friend of the grooms and he also said his girlfriend wouldn’t be coming since they hadn’t both met her. And it’s the same for me, they hadn’t met my girlfriend because they moved out of state about 4 years ago and we haven’t seen each other since then except for maybe one time. When I asked if I could bring her I was hit with “no sorry but we’d love to meet her at some point.” And like, isn’t that partly what these events are for? Because if I do see this guy again in the next 10 years it’s probably going to be at someone’s wedding.
I also brought it up (in a very careful matter) to one of the groomsmen that I’m kind of friends with and he called inviting +1s a slippery slope. I’m sure im wrong for this take, but I feel like +1s are just part of having a wedding. At least for every wedding I’ve been to outside my family it seems that way. And if you think people bringing their SO is going to make it too many people, then you probably already invited too many people. And it’s particularly weird for me because I’m already kind of fringe with this whole friend group so having my girlfriend there would’ve been nice.
TLDR; Friend invited me to wedding and is excluding +1s on the basis that’s it’s a “slippery slope” even though the wedding is at a cheaper location for them that all the guests need to spend additional time and money to get to.

We use DirectQuery for our Power BI Connection. So I can't work with IndexColumns because they need an Importmodel. I can't group by more fields then Region.

me (21F) and my boyfriend (21M) have been dating for almost 3 years and i’m almost certain he has at least some degree of autism, he constantly misses social cues and struggles to understand other people's feelings, he unknowingly says things that might make someone feel bad but he doesn’t realise that possible outcome, and if he does make someone feel bad he cannot determine it by their reaction as well. this has been an issue at first bc before we started dating (as he refuses to get tested for autism and rejects the idea that he might have a condition) i just thought he was mean, but then i got to understand him and he almost never makes me feel bad anymore because i’m very explicit and direct on how i communicate with him. however, things started to get weird it relation to sex, whenever I wasn't feeling like it he continued to pressure me for hours in order to have sex with him, but it wasn't out of malice or manipulation it was just that he asked me continiously if i wanted to have sex now - this started to happen because before he would just start to touch me but i told him not to do that. now, the fact that he asks me to have sex a lot makes me feel bad and i always end up fucking with him even though i don't want to. before there were some moments when i did want to have sex and was sexually aroused, but latetly i dread and fear to be alone at home with him becuase i know he will want to have sex and insist a lot on it even if i say no. i have explained this to him a million times and i'm almost sure his issue is that he doesn't understand the way these things work (he's not touching me anymore and he's only politely insisting, but it makes me feel awful). on top, most of the times i agreed to sex i felt almost as if i was raped, i just wanted to get it over with and the sex kinda hurt sometimes because i wasn't wet or sexually aroused at all. i would never say he raped me or that he sexually assaulted me but i would say he has made me have a weird relationship with sex. i have spoken with him many times about this and everytime it ends up with him almost crying and feeling bad seeing he doesn't see it this way as that he didn't realise and he's really sorry. i love him so so much and i would love to spend the rest of my life with him, but given everything that has happened i'm afraid i'm longer sexually attracted to him anymore, i hate it when there's a possibiliy for sex i just don't want to have sex and try to avoid those situations by suggesting we go out, or that we watch a movie or do any other activities. the thing is he always ends up saying that 'i'm so hot no matter what we are doing' and he can't help but to get turned on. what do I do now? how can i solve this without breaking up with him? i don't want to end our relationship becuase of this

Introduction
Spiral diaries are simple nature walks/sits with journaling, and are useful for both beginners and experienced who are looking to (re)connect with natural cycles. I didn't invent this; I'm sure it goes by many other names. I call it "spiralling" since you should ideally do it for two years. The spiral dance moves us both forward and around; we're never static creatures. It's important to look back and understand how you've changed when you've returned to the same spot on the wheel this time next year. You're not the same person today that you were this time last year, or yesterday, nor will you be years from now. You're finding out who you might be now, connecting to a state of constant metamorphosis, as the seasons transform the Earth, the ecosystems within it, and ourselves.
Materials
You only need a couple of notebooks, and writing or drawing tools. If you're more digital, you can keep an e-journal on a phone or a tablet.
Dress appropriately. If the weather is particularly violent you can stay indoors by a window or on a porch/balcony, but the goal is to get outside as much as possible, even and especially in yucky weather that we'd prefer to avoid for personal comfort! Enjoy the sun responsibly, be spattered by rain, covered in snow, blown by wind! Stay hydrated as needed. If mobility is an issue, choose an open window or a backyard space with a pleasing view.
Walk or Sit - 5-60 minutes/day
At least five minutes a day, but usually no more than an hour because it can be draining. 15-30 happens to be my best window and still feeling energetic. Go for a walk or sit in the fresh air, even in yucky weather. If you have a favourite spot where you can go to observe the impact of changing seasons over the year, use it. You could time your outings by sunrise or sunset, visibility of the moon, etc. But don't feel restricted; go when convenient. You can experiment with varying times and see how your observations differ.
Urbanites remember that it isn't harder for us to find our space. "Nature" is more than trees and brooks. It's the sky above us and the ground below us, even if the sky is pierced by skyscrapers or the ground paved with asphalt. You may also have the advantage of rooftop patios very high up.
Observations & Recording
Close or open your eyes, open your ears, be silent, observe and listen. What do you see/hear in the sky, in the trees, in the grass, in animals? What is Nature saying to you at that moment? How does it impact your mood from before you started? How might it apply to your day? If you happen to be travelling to another part of the world, how do differing weather patterns and surroundings impact "home base thinking" at this time of year?
Record messages you receive. It can be as simple or as elaborate as you like: one word, one sentence, a small drawing, a short or long paragraph. You can purposely change up your style as your mood suits you. Be flexible, be creative, never get bored!
Date every entry. You can use the upper half of the pages of a notebook for one year, then the next year in the lower half. Or use every other page for Year 1 and the facing pages Year 2.
Year 2 Entries
The Year 2 entry can combine what you're experiencing that day with reflection on the corresponding Year 1 entry. See how you've grown, what has changed, how the pairs of entries are alike or different, etc. You may be surprised.
If you feel inspired, keep going for longer! And don't kick yourself if you miss days or don't feel like going every day; nobody's evaluating your work. Do as much as you feel is useful; Nature will still be there at every opportunity. The goal is to center Nature in your thoughts and direct experience as much as possible.

At the time of Dwaynes arrest I was an employee at Arms Acres, a substance abuse treatment facility in NY, and Dwayne was my direct supervisor. I will post a brief description of the case in hand along followed by my personal experiences with Dwayne and why this case really bothers me.

A Patterson man accused of being a drug dealer is facing federal charges including murder.
Dwayne Pulliam, 59, also known as "Doc," is accused of killing Lori Lee Campbell, 59 and of Putnam County, according to the office of the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, which said Pulliam believed the woman was stealing drugs from him.
Pulliam was arrested Thursday in New Milford, Connecticut. He was presented before U.S. Magistrate Judge Andrew E. Krause, who ordered him held without bail pending further court action, according to a release from the office of U.S. Attorney Damian Williams.
Pulliam was released from prison in December 2020 after serving approximately 24 years for murder, Williams said.
Williams said Pulliam contacted an unidentified co-conspirator in the drug trade on March 29 and told him he had murdered Campbell. No age or hometown for Campbell was made available.
According to the release:

• Pulliam told his co-conspirator he confronted Campbell, and when she tried to flee, he stopped her. When Campbell started screaming, Pulliam told his co-conspirator he "stopped her from screaming."
• Pulliam told his co-conspirator to help him move Campbell's body, and threatened to kill the co-conspirator's family if he did not cooperate.
• The co-conspirator helped Pulliam move Campbell's body, wrapped in a sheet, to Pulliam's car. They then drove to Pulliam's mother's house in North Carolina, where they got shovels, a bag of lime and plastic wrap from a shed. They then drove to a cul-de-sac, where they covered Campbell's body in lime and buried it in a shallow grave.

Law enforcement officers found Campbell's body on Tuesday of this week.
Pulliam is charged with one count of traveling in interstate commerce and using a facility in interstate commerce with intent to engage in a business enterprise involving narcotics, and committing murder to further that unlawful activity. He also is charged with one count of participating in a conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute 28 grams or more of crack cocaine.
Pulliam faces a maximum sentence of life in prison if he is convicted of the first count, and a minimum sentence of five years and a maximum sentence of 40 years in prison if he is convicted of the second count.
Now what the media missed.
Dwayne was the direct supervisor at a substance abuse treatment facility from January 2021 until the time of his arrest. That means within a month from being released from prison, for murder and selling crack, he was given a position of authority in a rehab and had direct contact with patients in both the detox and rehab sections of the facility.
I worked directly under Dwayne during that time period as a Milleu and counselor and spoke with him on multiple occasions the week in which the crime occurred (without knowing he had just murdered someone and disposed of their body).
I thought he was an odd individual. It felt as if he was overdressed for the position, he was soft spoken and almost timid. On one occasion after I had worked the overnight shift during a snowstorm he had asked me to cover the day shift as well. I objected and he said he would return in fifteen minutes to let me go home and just disappeared himself, leaving me there for the entirety of the day shift as well. I thought he was somewhat of a snake following that interaction but I was never under the impression that he was capable of murder.
On the day after he disposed of the body and returned to work he joked about being tired after staying up all night driving home from Washington D.C. There was virtually no shift in his demeanor and I never would have suspected a thing had he not been charged shortly after.
Now following his arrest the facility went quiet in regards to him. There was no explanation or briefing with the staff, there was no accountability or internal investigation. Neither the police or anyone from the facility ever spoke to me or any of my coworkers that I'm aware of. I have absolutely no idea how the facility managed to avoid virtually all negative publicity that should have accompanied this.
It really bothers me that he was able to get a position of trust in a rehab so quickly after being released from prison for murder and distribution of narcotics. For some context I have a criminal record that consists of misdemeanors from 8+ years ago when I was active in my addiction and had to undergo multiple interviews (including explaining directly to the CEO) prior to getting the job. It was a process that took me 2 months from application to start date, yet it appears he was streamlined in to a position of trust.
Questions regarding the case

• Did he meet Lori and his other customers at the rehab he was employed?
• how did he get the job as a supervisor so shortly after being released from prison?
• Why isn't it mentioned in any newspapers? I would think there's some meat behind this story yet it just happened and was never mentioned again.

Is it legal?
Demus works within the strict limitations of the YouTube API. Playing requires a constant internet connection. No media content is stored on your device and therefore neither downloading nor offline playback is supported. All playback is done through an integrated Safari-like view.
Do music artists still get paid?
Yes! Listening to any song in my app counts as a view on the YouTube website and will therefore generate per-stream revenue to the artist.
How do you make money from your app when it's free with no ads?
There is an optional one-time in-app purchase which gives you access to some cool features such as color themes, app icons, and more advanced listening statistics.
Can it support iOS 16 and lower?
Demus uses the latest and most up-to-date frameworks which are sadly not supported on older versions of iOS. But fear not, my app will be waiting for you when you upgrade!

Hello everyone, I am nearing my expiration date for Security+ and was hoping to accelerate Pentest+ ahead of the remaining handful of classes I have left in order to kill two birds with one stone and use that to renew Sec+. I have accelerated many classes before but never in any particular order, just whatever was next in my degree plan. My mentor however stated that it was against policy to do this and that pentest+ must be completed prior to the capstone ( I am assuming they meant directly preceding the capstone). I have read some comments of people saying they changed the order of the classes taken but maybe there are exceptions to this (besides obvious classes that have strict prerequisites). Has anyone been in this situation? I do not want to be too confrontational and ask for direct policy verbiage. It is not a big deal it is just a little annoying having to renew Sec+ on it's own and taking away time from my classes. All is well though! Thank you all and have a great day.

One of the biggest obstacles guys face is their environment.
There is a reason that people go to Hollywood for acting or Silicon Valley to find venture funding. It's because that's where the most opportunities are.
If you want to increase your dating options, then you too may need to start putting yourself in new environments. There is power in simply showing up somewhere. It increasing the chances that you will be in the right place at right time.
People are willing to pay large amounts of money for access to exclusive places, i.e. country clubs, nightclubs, etc. They do this simply to be in closer proximity to the types of people that they want to interact with.
However, paying loads of money for bottle service so that a promoter brings women to you is not necessary. If you work to develop your social skills such that you can startup a conversation anywhere, then you don’t need to pay for people to be delivered to your door step.

It’s common to see new tokens listed at times when trading activity is high, often during regular business hours in major financial centers. 

1. Token Creation: Anyone with the technical know-how can create an ERC-20 token on the Ethereum blockchain. This process is relatively straightforward and can be done using various tools and platforms. 2. Liquidity Pool Creation: To list a token on Uniswap, the creator needs to create a liquidity pool by pairing their new token with an existing token like ETH or USDT. This requires providing an initial amount of both tokens to the pool. (Retik created their source code longgggg time ago w/ Dex Pairs)** 

1. Pump and Dump Scheme: The creator of the fake token might use marketing tactics or misleading information to generate hype and attract buyers. Once the token’s price rises due to increased demand, the creator sells their holdings at a profit, leaving buyers with worthless tokens when the price crashes. 2. Rug Pull: In this scenario, the creator of the fake token initially provides significant liquidity to the pool to make it seem legitimate. Once enough people have invested, the creator withdraws all the liquidity, leaving token holders with tokens they can’t sell, effectively stealing their funds. 3. High Transaction Fees: Some fraudulent tokens are designed to charge very high transaction fees, which go directly to the creator whenever someone buys or sells the token. This can drain the funds of unsuspecting buyers quickly.** 

I am currently halfway through my pregnancy and I can tell how differently I am being treated. I need to know how to handle this. I am a lead service agent for a chain of auto dealers and have been for the last 6 years.

1. When I told my direct boss I was pregnant, he started to ask me questions on returning to work. This is all normal and part of management process, i understand. But what didn't feel write was him asking me about childcare since he knows my parents are dead (verbatim). My husband also works for the company, he is a foreman and on his 10th year. He asked about my husbands parents and I said they didn't live in the state but there's various options for childcare and my plan is to return after my 20 weeks paid. He looked shocked when I said 20 weeks and he said I can only be out for 12. I told him no and that I already spoke with my OB and HR and you can get up to 26 weeks but I am pre approved for 20 (6-8 for medical leave, 12 for bonding) (Massachusetts has PFMLA, which can be a max amount of up to 26 weeks of paid, job protected leave). His face turned a little red when I said that. The conversation left a sour taste in my mouth.
2. Since December of last year, I have been working to get a promotion for the same department but as the BDM, Since our last BDM left, its just been me kind of overseeing the department. Numbers have exceeded all goals so far and it's been shown during meetings that our GP is increasing in the service facilities. I have never been told I am not going a great job. Back in March, I was told in April we would since down and talk a new job description, expectations and pay plan. That didn't happen. But the company on other departments weren't doing too great so I figured it wasn't as important in the moment. I finally started pressing them end of April. And last week we had our meeting we we're supposed to have back in April. I was given the job description, expectations and the pay plan. I only signed the job description but they had me keep the pay plan document. I asked when this pay plan would start (the pay plan includes a possible $15k-$20k increase per year). They told me it would start until August 1st, so my first commission check would be September 15th...

My due date is October 7th and I may even be on leave starting in September god forbid any health concerns come up. So far I am having a very healthy pregnancy. I wasn't even sick at all during my 1st trimester and haven't used any sick days this year so far.
I am just overly confused on what the hell is going on... Are they not trying to pay me while I am still here and wait to see if I come back to pay me?? I have been doing everything a BDM would do on my lead pay. I guess its partially my fault for taking on so much responsibility without pay, I just figured I would show them what I can do for a couple of months and then lay out all the improved numbers.
HR makes me nervous. Especially with something like this, I don't want to be labeled a "cry baby" or hard to work with because I want to bring this to someone's attention. I pride myself on hard work and not complaining along the way. Shit happens. But my husband wants me to go to HR immediately because there has been multiple men in the last year who have had promotions (including him) and they never made these employees wait for enact their pay plans. It always started the 1st of the next month from when they signed. He see's the difference in treatment but I know he's biased because we're married.
Pregnant or not, I would still be emotional over this.

Harry loses attempts to add certain new claims and allegations to his existing complaint. It looks like he was allowed to add some things though, but I cannot tell what from this article. Trial on original claims and the allowed new claims will go forward is scheduled for January 2025.
A judge [Mr. Justice Fancourt] criticised the Duke’s lawyers for trying to “inculpate the man at the very top” by pinning knowledge on him personally.
He said the allegations made against Mr Murdoch added nothing to his case.
The Duke was also denied a request to extend his claim by including allegations that date back to 1994.

He was refused permission to include the names of some 150 private investigators, some of which had no specific claims made against them.

He also refused permission for allegations to be newly made against NGN’s Management and Standards Committee and those relating to the targeting of politicians.
The judge added: “Tempting though it no doubt is for the claimants’ team to attempt to inculpate the man at the very top, doing so will add nothing to a finding that Ms Brooks and Mr James Murdoch or other senior executives knew and were involved, if that is proved to be the case.”
The judge said that the allegations made “directly made against Rupert Murdoch personally” added nothing to the Duke’s claim.He said: “I cannot see what difference is made to the allegations of habitual and extensive unlawful information gathering (UIG), knowledge on the part of senior executives, and concealment and destruction, by trying to pin actual knowledge on him personally.
“There are already allegations pleaded against Rebekah Brooks and James Murdoch, who are his trusted lieutenants in relation to News Corporation and NGN and who are very senior executives in their own right.”
The judge criticised the Duke’s legal team for trying to bring forward too many amendments at too late a stage, in what he described as a “very expensive and time consuming exercise”.He also criticised NGN for failing to concede enough of the lesser amendments.

Real and practical advice for single men - this works
I originally shared this as a reply to someone's post, then felt like a separate post would help more single guys interested in couples. I've been the male 3rd enough times to be able to share what actually works and is a step beyond the more generic advice of "be charming" or "be respectful". For all the single guys out there, good luck and here goes.
Mindset - you are part of their fantasy and there for her pleasure as a priority. You win when both he and she walk out thinking "Wow" without any yellow or red flags from you.
Here's my advice

1. THE MOST IMPORTANT BIT OF ADVICE - Talk to and engage the M half of the couple. Let him know you know your place in the 3some (i.e. you're there to help them have fun together). It's also a great opportunity to ask him what their fantasy is, what she likes, what he would like to see, and more. Hopefully, they've both talked about this a bunch and he can tell you about that, including any limits. He might even share something special you can do that will blow her mind. By engaging him, with respect, you can find all the help you need in making this work out well for everyone. You don't have to become his best friend, but the more he is comfortable with you, the more they both can relax and enjoy the experience together.
   
2. Realize you are part of THEIR fantasy and you will can be invited back if this works out well. So focus on making it work out well for them, being aware and responsive to their needs, what they are looking for. Single, attractive, respectful men are not as common as you might think. Finding one couple that you get on well with and getting invited back will open many doors for you, especially if they have friends or want to invite you to a party. So, focus on giving her pleasure and fun, even if you don't finish yourself. This is really important to remember - focus on her enjoyment.
   
3. Sometimes a couple will have a specific fantasy and want you to play a role like being the Dom to her. If you find that out, read up on it, get an idea on what you can do in your own style to play that role. A nice light amount of cologne will work. My advice on cologne is to ask a female friend to pick one for you and then be very subtle with how much you use. Women's noses seem to pickup cologne more than you realize. If you don't have a friend or don't trust cologne being fresh and clean smelling from a shower is great too.
   
5. If necessary, drink an energy drink or coffee so you are bursting with energy when you guys get to the bedroom. That new person energy and stamina goes a long way to having her feel good, appreciated, sexy, wanted etc. You might be tempted to drink alcohol before hand, even just to loosen up. My advice would be NOT to drink.
   
6. Realize they might be nervous or not sure where to start. That's okay if you gently take the lead and help her relax. Gentle kissing, caressing and laying her down on the bed for you to go down on her is a good start. Don't worry too much though, once you get the ball rolling, just let nature take over. You're all there for the same reason, so just let things flow.
   
7. If you are meeting at your place, have a pile of clean towels for them to use. Also of course clean up your place, clean sheets on the bed, etc. Make sure your bathroom and shower are sparkly clean and spray some air freshener around. If necessary, open the windows and air your whole place out just to make things fresher.
   
8. Have bottled water and some sugary snacks. The water will keep everyone hydrated and people feel more comfortable when they drink from a water bottle they open themselves. Gatorade is great too. Sugar snacks will give you a short recharge on your energy (saw this on a porn set). Notwithstanding what I said above about skipping alcohol, having a bottle of wine or other alcohol works well as an icebreaker when the couple shows up. Still, one drink max for everyone is my recommendation for your best evening.
   
9. Before meeting, send sexy chat notes to her (with him in the same chat) to help build excitement in her mind and between them. Keep things subtle, share how excited you are, be playful and easy about it. Too many texts, getting too heavy or too graphic can ruin the mood. And as a general rule, don't send a dick pic. Just don't. You might be tempted to show off, but she can enjoy it when you two are together in person.
   
10. Check in with him, getting his permission in a friendly way, for anything you want to do that you haven't already talked about. You might find things unfolding naturally in new directions and he(and then her) will feel better when they see you check in with them. Remember, he's sharing his girl with you, the more he and then she trust you the better things will turn out.
    
11. Always respect what she says. If she doesn't like something stop. If she wants more of something or asks for something you haven't already talked about, then check in with him to make sure it's okay. Interestingly enough, he may ask you to do something she doesn't want or like. You know how it is with guys, sometimes they can get carried away. If this happens, the best answer is to respect what she says, and suggest something else instead. She will be happier, trust you more for respecting her voice and overall, they will have a better time.
    
12. When things are winding down, look for their cues that it's time for you to leave (if you are at their place) or for them to leave (if they are at your place). This is a good time to make sure they know where the towels are, that they can shower, offer them water, etc. You know, all the "how to be a good host stuff".
    
13. As they are about to go, you can share with them how much you enjoyed the evening and checkin with them, to see if they enjoyed themselves. If they did, you usually don't have to ask. A nice sensual kiss and a hug for her works. Next, it's REALLY IMPORTANT that you thank him for sharing. If you stop and think for a moment, he just shared the most important person in his life with you in a very intimate and private way. You got a gift from him. Be respectful and say thank you with honesty and heartfelt integrity. This can help him and her see that you have character and understand your role.
    
14. Make sure you know, respect and follow THEIR rules about communicating. In general, you can avoid problems by making sure you always communicate with BOTH of them. Sometimes, either she or he will text or call you separately. Just make sure that you ask, know and follow their rules about this. Also, if they do say it's okay for you to talk to each of them separately, it's best to keep the other person involved and aware when you do. This shows simple respect for each of them as individuals and their relationship. The same goes for meeting up with them as individuals. Know, respect and follow THEIR rules.
    
15. Performance issues: if you need to, take a small dose of viagra or cialis to help get over anxiety issues. But don't over do it if you haven't taken it before. You don't want to get too much of a headache or other side effects. One side effect of these meds is that they can also make it harder for you to finish. But don't worry about that because you focusing on her this time is the big win for you.
    

EDIT: Cardio FTW - being in great cardio shape pays dividends all around. Beyond aesthetics for your potential partner, increased stamina means you get less tired during your play time and can choose when to stop vs having to stop because you are badly out of breath. It can also help with exhaustion based performance issues. Last point is that when you click with someone, it's nice to be able to keep going just for their pleasure.

1. Last note - If things work out for you to meet and then you all have a good time, you can be the fuel for new passion and excitement for them and their relationship. In the least you can give them good memories. Maybe it can even develop into something long term.
   
2. Additional note about follow-up: After you leave or they leave, a short polite text thanking them both for a great time is a nice thing to do. Keep it short, simple and don't worry about setting up your next play time, instead just thank them. This gives them feedback that you enjoyed them and opens the door for them to share back to you, as well as ask you later for another play date. Realize that they might not get back to your right away and that's okay.
