Ordered a simple cheese pizza and besides it being soggy and limp, it tasted like complete ass. The sauce was putrid, the cheese was sour.

I'm considering buying a... well I should say a building that used to be a restaurant at this point. Closed 20 years ago and is going to cost more to fix than im going to get out of it, but it's (finally) for sale.
We have a pizza place and a golf range for restaurants in our town, it would be good for the town, and I'm willing to take the hit. The city just below us has probably a hundred restaurants and the city a little further above us has a few dozen so we're not all cooking or starving. Just town pride
But there are a number of ways to proceed. I'll list all I can think of, even if they're pretty clearly not for me, so maybe more people who aren't me can take something away.
  1. Become chef! I worked in a restaurant a little in college, and I eat in them. That makes me an expert! Lemme go Google a listicle of ten things every chef should know... ...no. If I wanted a job id have one. If I wanted two, and actually had the relevant skills and experience, maybe
  2. Hire a chef. Become restaurant manager! I have a business degree and money, so I can do it. And did I mention I worked in a restaurant a little in college? ...no. See above about wanting a job. I do think I have the base skills and network to do this reasonably given 150% the time a pro would need while I get up and running. But no.
  3. Hire a chef. Hire a restaurant manager ...for MY restaurant! Sit at the end of the bar at nights overlooking my domain, occasionally doling out advice to the people who I pay to know more than me about the issue This is Dale. I worked for Dale. He was great, and despite my tone I'm not ruling this out.
  4. Reno the building to glory and rent it to an actual restaurant, probably pretty close to at carry cost. Based on rumor, remember I haven't even bought the building yet, I've already had a restaurant that lost its lease ask about reopening there
  5. Reno the building to good studs and let the new tenant finish as desired. Also a thing, looks like it might be a good fit for sone folks not others. Maybe 4/5 is a spectrum and if I go that route 1 look at what the tenant wants
  6. Reno the building te whatever level and sell it on. Probably the most boring answer but that doesn't make it bad. I would almost definitely not turn a profit, but it might make the restaurant more durable if I'm not staying in the engine room
I'm probably missing something obvious and I'm probably wrong about some things. I'm not a restauranteur (but did I tell you I worked in one a few years in college?) But whoever runs it and whatever the structure, I'd rather the building not get bulldozed and I'd rather my town have a "real" (sorry other guys I love ya, but) restaurant. Maybe this is an opportunity I can take.
Oh yeah, one more:
7: Don't buy a run down money pit restaurant, save the time money sanity and stress, and spend more time with my family and hobbies. ...nahhhh, where's the fun in that?

2024.04.09 20:27 scarymaxx In my dreams, I used to visit a place called the Children’s Cathedral. I think it was real.

Had we invented it, or was the Children’s Cathedral always there?
I know I wasn’t the first to arrive. Someone had built the moat, the drawbridge, and the great portcullis at the entryway, the one whose iron squares were just large enough for a child to wriggle through but barred adults from entry.
The cathedral was smaller when we first arrived. Elliot hadn’t yet built the winding staircases that led to the upper stories, and Naomi’s beautiful, terrifying tapestries wouldn’t grace the walls until we were all in nearly fourth grade. Of course, most of our building supplies were used for our own, private rooms.
I didn’t know the other kids in real life, though I believed they were real. Elliot said he lived in a big house in New Jersey, that his dad worked on Wall Street and bought him a new set of Legos every Friday when the market was up. Naomi lived in Canada and played hockey on a boys’ team. Maddie lived in Florida but hated the beach.
Maddie claimed that the cathedral’s first builder was Mr. Merchant himself, though he demured, saying he was simply the caretaker of the place. Indeed, we had never seen him lay a single brick. Instead, he tirelessly swept the dust from our various construction projects and helped deliver the various building materials we needed to build new rooms.
Nothing came for free. Mr. Merchant was hungry for stories. Not that we had much interesting to say, especially at first. He just wanted to hear about our days, the little victories and heartbreaks. You might tell him about pulling a tick from your dog’s belly, and his little gray face would light up, and then he’d cough and breathe out something deep and ashen from down in his lungs, a little swirl of particles that would cohere into a bucket full of bricks and a bit of mortar.
Early on, I watched with jealousy as Elliot and Naomi told stories that earned them great pallets of marble tiles and gold inlay. Elliot’s parents were going through a nasty divorce, and the tales of their fights and magnificent insults brought Mr. Merchant unending joy. As for Maddie, her teenage sister had died of an overdose. Her stories were sad and repetitive, not something I really wanted to hear, but Mr. Merchant listened and listened, gifting her crates overflowing with her favorite wallpapers and persian rugs.
I watched with jealousy as Maddie retreated to her room, carrying the crates behind her in that oddly weightless way they got in the cathedral. More than anything, I wanted to follow her, to see how her room was built and decorated. I took a step to follow her but Mr. Merchant put a hand on my shoulder.
“You know the rules,” he said, still coughing out bits of dust. “No visiting other children’s rooms.”
There were a lot of rules at the cathedral. Some unwritten. Most important of all was to never speak of the place when you were back home, awake. That one was surprisingly easy to keep. I didn’t like talking to my mom much anyway. Sometimes, when I woke, sweating, screaming that I was lost in the endless halls, my mom would ask me if I’d had a nightmare, and I’d say yeah, and she’d shrug her shoulders and go back to her room.
If I’m going to be honest, the cathedral was the best thing I had going on back then. Waking life was boring, sometimes cruel. School was an endless marathon of clock-watching, trying to slow down my mind enough to pay attention to the words coming out of the teacher’s mouth.
Home was worse. Flipping back and forth through the three channels we got on TV, while my mom brought home a parade of worse and worse boyfriends, guys with bad tattoos of NFL teams and an inability to remember my name.
Stories of my mother’s suitors were the ones Mr. Merchant wanted to hear most. He licked the ashes from his lips as I recounted the repulsive noises I’d heard through my bedroom wall, my mother in tears the next morning, shouting insults at a man after she found a wedding ring in the pocket of his jeans.
“Better,” Mr. Merchant said. “So much better than your usual tales.” He drew that last ‘s’ out, savoring it. As he spoke, more ashes flew from his lips, coalescing into a shining bucket of colored glass. I would have whooped with joy, if it had been allowed. I had never earned colored glass before. It was the rarest of treasures in the cathedral, used to build the great stained-glass windows that provided its only light.
Each of us was building one in our own room.
“What’s yours of?” I asked Maddie one day. “The picture in your stained glass, I mean.”
She shrugged. “I don’t know. And we’re not supposed to talk about it anyway.”
I had just spent the morning building the bottom section of my own window. There was a generous amount of red involved, but what the exact image was destined to be was a mystery.
I felt Mr. Merchant’s hand on my shoulder. His touch was cold, and his fingernails were long and thick but well-trimmed. He held one up to his black-gray lips.
“Loose lips sink ships,” he said. Then he contorted his mouth a little, moving his lips so that they distorted around his teeth, revealing their too-long roots.
Usually, I was smart enough not to talk about the cathedral, but sometimes I drew it. Late at night, I’d sketch the towering spires that seemed to scrape the sky. Sometimes, too, I’d draw Mr. Merchant. I wasn’t much of an artist, so it took a lot of tries, but eventually I was able to capture the way his pupils pulled up at the edges, like a cat’s eyes.
In my best drawing, Mr. Merchant was standing on two bodies as they floated in a boiling lake. The two people are screaming as Mr. Merchant looks down at them in delight. It wasn’t too hard to identify them: my mother and her latest boyfriend, Tim. They were cartoonish and exaggerated, but the essence was there, and the tattoos were in all the right places.
“What the fuck is this?” my mother shouted on the day she found the drawings from where I’d squirreled them away under my mattress.
“Nothing,” I said. I wasn’t worried about what she’d do, not really. But I knew Mr. Merchant wouldn’t like this one bit.
My mother took my by the ears and shouted into my face. “Stop. Fucking. Drawing.”
“I’m sorry,” I said.
“And we’re getting married, by the way,” she added. “Over in Reno, next week.”
“Okay,” I said, my hot tears still running down my face onto the crumpled drawings, making the ink run.
When I got to the cathedral that night, I found that my body had grown. When I tried to squeeze through the portcullis, I could barely squeeze through. Halfway through, I found myself stuck, the rusted iron tearing into my skin, drawing blood.
“Telling makes you fat,” said Mr. Merchant, suddenly. Where had he appeared from? He smiled with his too-big teeth, and they all looked sharper than before.
“I didn’t mean to tell,” I said.
“But you did,” he said. “You did! So what am I supposed to do with you now?”
He reached out to where the rusty metal had bloodied my shoulder. Then, he gently dragged his fingers across the room, and brought them up to his nose, smelling it ever so slightly.
“I’ve invested a lot in you over the years,” he said. “I still remember the first time you called your mother a dirty word. I gave you a piece of glass for that. You remember, don’t you?”
I nodded weakly. I was having trouble breathing. My body felt too big, like I’d be stuck forever.
“I want you to finish your room,” he whispered, leaning down. “But we can’t have any more slip ups. We have to be more careful. Promise?”
“I promise,” I said.
“Swear.”
I nodded again, still wondering if he’d reach forward and snap my neck with his long fingers.
Then, he reached forward and pulled me into the cathedral.
“Come on,” he said. “I don’t want you to miss tonight. We’re celebrating.”
Inside the cathedral I found Maddie and Naomi standing in the cathedral’s central room where a small feast had been laid out. The food was all a bit strange, like pizzas made of soggy bread and ice cream and apple-shaped fruits that tasted like butter. It was if it had all been made by someone who had only seen pictures of food but never actually eaten it.
“Where’s Elliot?” I asked.
“Elliot’s job is done!” announced Mr. Merchant with a flourish. “His room is complete. And because today is a day of celebration, I will allow you all just once to visit it and behold his work!”
The girls and I looked at each other nervously. We’d never seen Mr. Merchant look so gleeful before. Then, like a drum major at the head of a marching band, he proceeded down the hall toward Elliot’s room, opening the door with the wave of a hand.
We walked inside and gasped. Inside, we found a lush room with a thick, tufted carpet and mahogany furniture. Everything smelled of vanilla tobacco. It might have been beautiful if not for the stained glass window, which stretched nearly a hundred feet high.
In the window, a boy was driving a car off the edge of a seaside cliff. His expression contorted with rage. All around him, the sky looked like it was on fire, but the waiting ocean below was black and filled with arms, all reaching up to drag him down.
I remembered Elliot’s first days in the cathedral, whispering stories to Mr. Merchant in exchange for cartful after cartful of black glass. Now we knew what he’d been building.
“What I love most about this one is the little details,” said Mr. Merchant. “Take the trunk for example. Look carefully and you’ll see a little sliver of red coming down the side. That’s supposed to be blood. Elliot wasn’t our best artist, but he got a few details just right.”
I felt a pit in my stomach. I wanted to throw up.
“Oh, don’t look like that,” said Mr. Merchant. “I happen to know a little secret. That body in the trunk? I belonged to Elliot’s dad. And yes, of course, you know the nice little story about the Lego’s every Friday when the market was good. But did you ever stop to wonder what happened when the market was bad? Did you hear about the night when dad came home drunk and weaving, and looking for the smallest excuse to throw a little boy against the wall? No. No. Elliot saved those stories for me. That’s how we built this masterpiece.”
He gestured to the stained glass window in all its shining glory. I had to admit, there was beauty in it, despite the subject matter.
“Where’s Elliot?” asked Naomi, her voice quivering slightly.
“His work is done!” said Mr. Merchant gleefully. “He’s retired! Easy breezy! No more pain!”
“Sounds nice,” said Maddie, though she didn’t smile.
My stomach was in knots. I turned from the image and began to walk down the hall away from them. With every step I took away from them, all I kept thinking was what was happening back in my own room, in my own stained-glass image.
I wondered what I was building.

My take on a DSaF timeline
Goodness, this was such a time sink.
20’s - Not much happens in the saga in the
20’s, but Henry Miller is born and grows up in this era under the eye of his father, Charles Miller. Henry is said to be ambitious.
11/xx/25 - Henry Miller is born in Portsmouth, Virginia.
30’s - Henry had to deliver papers growing up to get money for his lazy father. He liked to read the papers to keep up to date with the world.
40’s - Henry’s dad dies of liver failure and Henry gets the house to himself. He joins WWII as a mechanic and repair grunt, but as his potential was noticed, he began to design artillery for the allies. Henry became cynical as no matter what he did, people died. If he does his work, enemies die, but if he doesn’t, allies die. When the war ended, he struggled finding a job. The factory he worked at closed down and many were happy to see him go as his inhuman ideas took a toll on them. He used his scholarship to attend Dartmouth College. Henry meets Martha Jones who becomes his wife and they have a child named David Miller. This next part is an educated guess, because Doggo cut this part out of his Tumblr post explaining Henry’s life because it creeped him out. After the part he cut, Henry found out that the radio station of his car had two voices: one of a crying infant and one of a woman. I believe that this is implying that Henry killed his wife and son in or with his car, fusing their souls with it. This is what he wrote his Master’s Thesis about. It was called “The Joy of Creation” and was about how metal has a life force and that intertwining it with flesh could create life that lasts forever. He was given an honorary doctorate, but was never able to recreate his studies, causing it to be revoked. He never stopped calling himself Doctor Henry Miller. His book was released to the public and he moved to South Carolina for a job opportunity, likely his circus.
10/xx/41 - Henry’s dad dies of liver failure.
08/xx/45 - Peter Thomas Kennedy is born (maybe in Denver, Colorado).
xx/xx/45 William “Dave Miller” Afton is born in New York City. (he forgot his own birthday, but likes to think that it’s Halloween).
50’s - Dave grows up homeless as an orphan, nobody wanting him because he was purple. He learned to play the trombone to perform for money. He found Dr. Miller’s Fantastical Circus and was taken under Henry’s wing. Many murders happen at the circus. The lion tamer is framed and arrested and Dave performs for Henry’s circus until it closes down.
03/xx/51 Jack Fitzgerald Kennedy is born (maybe in Denver, Colorado).
60’s - The last decade before the major events of the series takes place. Not much important happens here, but we do know that Dee was born in this decade. The Kennedy parents could’ve died in a car crash in this decade, but it also could’ve happened in the early 70’s.
Summe67 - Dee Kennedy is born (maybe in Denver, Colorado).
70’s - Henry Miller and Dave Miller are active dayshift workers at Fredbear’s and Freddy’s during this time. Dave Miller is in charge of Fredbear’s and killing kids there, while Henry kills kids at Freddy’s to prevent them from overtaking Fredbear’s. The machine that turns people into phone guys is created with Fazbender entertainment consulting Henry Miller’s “The Joy of Creation”. Another major event of this decade is the deaths of Dee and Jack Kennedy, the former being revived by a non-literal entity known as “The Real Fredbear”.
xx/xx/73 - Bono, (Yes, the musician) buys Showbiz Pizza and Scott Cawthon turns it into Freddy Fazbender’s Pizza. (The name Freddybear was originally used. Freddy Fazbear was also an idea they had. Harry Fitzgerald also participated in naming Freddy after his time in the Vietnam War)
xx/xx/73 - Harry Fitzgerald starts working as a dayguard at location 01. At some point prior to 1978, he is transferred to location 14 and dies in a spring lock suit. He is turned into Phone Guy MDL 14_01
Summe73 - Henry’s Joy_1 tape is recorded where he simply talks about his plans. He says death isn’t real and this is somewhat confirmed by the horde of ungrateful toddlers’ dialogue when asked if they can undo death. “How can we undo what does not exist”.
Summe73 - Fredbear’s Family Diner opens and Henry and William sneakily kill two children. On the opening night, William’s suit fails and he dies, but due to metal having a life force, his soul repossesses his body, leaving Henry happy that his theory is true. Summe73 - The lore cutscene between Henry and Dave play out where they talk about Freddy’s outcompeting them and Henry reveals to Dave that he killed a third kid, Dee Kennedy. She is murdered by Henry Miller and William Afton and her body is kept until he finishes building the marionette to put her in. Jack goes to look for her and is left half-dead in Fredbear. Henry’s Will_Hnry_01 is recorded. It tells us that Henry is building the marionette to put Dee’s corpse in and that they plan to frame the murders on Jack Kennedy. Henry says that he plans on killing 5 kids at Freddy’s so that their reputation is better (it is unlikely that the location he killed the kids at was actually Freddy’s location #1 as it would’ve taken Henry ELEVEN years to kill the kids, so I imagine that’s a different incident. Maybe it was location #2 idk). Jack wakes up and escapes before Henry and William can frame him for Dee’s murder. He then goes on the run.
Summe73 Jack grows, or perhaps puts on a fake mustache, (thanks, u/Subject_101k for the help with that one) and becomes a night guard at Fredbear’s to find out what happened to Dee. After a few days on the job, he is killed by one of the robots and stuffed in Fredbear. Henry walks inside of the safe room and puts a child inside of Spring Bonnie (I like to believe that this is one of the same kids that Henry killed earlier in the timeline and took them out to experiment on their corpse before putting it back in). on his way out, he notices Jack inside of Fredbear. Jack begs of Henry to help him. Henry laughs at him and leaves him there. The Real Fredbear, a non-literal entity, revives Jack Kennedy on the promise that Jack will free the souls of the kids that died at Fredbear’s (and eventually Freddy’s). Jack escapes to Peter’s house after this and explains that he did not kill Dee despite what the news says. Peter still blames Jack for her death and Jack lives on the run. He says he lived in a dumpster until the mid 80’s.
xx/xx/73 - Henry’s Joy3 tape is recorded. It shows Henry saying William is a good test subject. He says souls retain limited memories. The victims know who he is and try to kill him. He says the souls cannot speak, something we know is false. William gives Henry a way to measure how much memory is retained in a soul. Every month, Henry removes one of William’s organs or a portion of his brain, especially the frontal lobe. He slowly stops asking questions about ethics of their work. He begins to leave William alone with the robots at night, being recorded. Sometimes William speaks to himself. He seems sentimental. Henry reassures that he will make the impossible possible.
xx/xx/73 - Henry’s Joy4 tape is recorded. Henry says that William is useless. He shows no rate of change even with more organs removed even without a heart. He tells William about his deceased son, (murdered by himself, of course) David. William really wants to replace David so Henry can be his new dad. Henry says Dave is HIS monster. He does not want Dave bearing his or his son’s name. He says William can’t follow simple instructions, and is scared to leave his corpse even with shocks. Henry wants to abandon William under camera supervision to see how he grapples with abandonment. He goes on to kill other kids. He says they can’t gang up on him because they’re so spread out. He steals souls to build a machine that can take himself out of his dimension so that he may escape Dayshift at Freddy’s.
xx/xx/73 - Henry’s found tape is recorded. It talks about the types of souls and how clear souls are weaker and are typically more weak and simple, making most of them children. The dark souls tend to be from adults and their emotions make them powerful. He describes regret as being the most powerful emotion yet and the fact he knows about this specifically seems to imply that he has experimented on Blackjack before. If a soul contained enough regret, it could be able to engage in temporal manipulation, or timeline travel. This is due to its desire to turn back the clock.
xx/xx/73 - xx/xx/76 - Scott Cawthon slips and dies. The Five Managers, Abel Brannigan, Joe Fawkes, Terrence Chapman, Everett Scott, and Harry Fitzgerald were deeply saddened by this. They consulted Henry Miller’s thesis, “The Joy of Creation” to help them figure out how to bring him back. They create the “Scott Memorial Machine” or so Roger calls it. He is then turned into the very first phone guy. MDL 01_01; generation 0 of the phone guys. He was suffering in his undead state and was put down by the company. The company began to experiment with making ai to make phone guys just like Scott Cawthon. According to Roger, not many phones survived the phonification process.

09/xx/79 - Freddy Fazbender’s, New Mexico (#12) closes because of flaming robots (Oil Fire of ‘79)
80’s - Henry and Dave’s “Fredbear’s Family Diner” is bought out by Fazbender Entertainment. Jake Wilson also becomes a phone guy at some point in the 80’s. Peter becomes a phone guy as well. The Bite of ‘83 takes place and Henry is dragged to the void by Blackjack. DSaF and DSaF 2 also take place in this decade. This is really the decade Fazbender Entertainment prospered, but after late 1987, it really started to go downhill.
03/xx/82 - Freddy Fazbender’s, Montana, (#15) closes after a Pirate’s Cove incident involving canons during a show (cannons are banned from all Freddy’s locations)
xx/xx/80-83 - Henry refuses to sell Fredbear’s Diner to Fazbear Entertainment so they create Golden Freddy as a means to antagonize him.
01/xx/83 Freddy Fazbender’s, Nebraska, (#53) closes because of a man in a Candy the Cat suit (possibly the one from DSaF 2) shot up the place, killing Abel Brannigan, a phone guy and one of the original 5 managers. This was Jake Wilson’s last location before (depending on your choices) being transferred to the DSaF 3 location (Harry also writes the company logs after Abel’s death)
xx/xx/83 - Fazbender Entertainment buys out Fredbear’s Family Diner from Dave Miller and Henry Miller. Dave creates Breadbear as a way to antagonize them. According to Dave in the DSaF 2 “An Ending”, Henry killed a lot of kids after Fazbender Entertainment bought them out.
03/13/80-83 - Employee Henry Miller leads 3 children into the saferoom and kills them. When employee Peter Thomas Kennedy tries to stop him, Miller pushes him, triggering the springlocks. Phone Guy MDL 14_02 “Steven Stevenson” shows up to send Peter off to the factory to become a phone guy. 14_02 is likely transferred to location 47 (DSaF 1) after this because the restaurant probably closed. 14_02 writes location 47’s 39th log about the incident (Personally, I believe the incident take place in 1983 because the Ratpack closes that year and I believe that is the location that takes place in). After this, Farfour is moved to location #47
xx/xx/83 - The Ratpack, Oregon, (#48) closes for unknown, probably rat related reasons (most likely the location Peter died at because Farfour is a rat, and I think it closed the day of his death, as 3 kids and 1 employee going missing would likely cause a place to shut down).
06/24/83 - A possible time that The Bite of ‘83 took place (In DSaF 2, Peter says “Fredbear wasn’t even in Reno on June 24th!” Without saying what happened there). The bite of ‘83 is an event where a kid was bitten by (robotic) Fredbear at Fredbear’s Family Diner (presumably on purpose from Henry) as Dave Miller watches. Blackjack, Jack Kennedy’s stray soul, is angered by this and mauls Henry, dragging him into the Void in front of Dave. After this incident, The Real Fredbear won’t let people into the building. After this incident, Fredbear is moved to location #47

11/13/83 - Freddy Fazbender’s, Idaho, (#45) closes because of the 57 dogs barking and not stopping (all doggos have been banned as performers from now on) (Freddy’s is declared doggo free after this, despite not being true) (It is revealed from the 3rd games logs that Jeremy Fitzgerald (Jack’s fake name) designed the location).
11/13/83 - The 52nd log from location 45 shows the yellow phone guy in charge freaking out during the dogs barking at the location.
06/xx/84 - Freddy Fazbender’s, Utah, (#1) closes because someone lured 5 kids into the back room and killed them. Harry Fitzgerald is transferred to location #14 (Roger says this location closed after 1993, which is odd because the computer says it closed in 1984. It is most likely that the location simply reopened after 1987 which is when DSaF 2 takes place, so that both dates can be true. I believe this is also the location Project Save the Kiddins takes place in because Roger says it closed after 1993 which is exactly the year it takes place. Dave also mentions in one of the PSTK calls that the robots at the locations are possessed by kids he killed in the 80’s which would fit this location).
After 06/xx/84 and before DSaF 2 - Freddy Fazbender’s (#32) closes because someone drives a forklift into a wall. Harry Fitzgerald tries to file a complaint about it but Dave Miller spills gravy over it. Harry Fitzgerald is transferred to the Afton Robotics Warehouse.
xx/xx/85 - Matthew Virginia is first hired by Fazbender Entertainment.
xx/xx/85 - Walt Grouse is arrested for lewd conduct with a customer at Foxy’s House of Pleasure
06/06/85 - Scott “Hula-Hoop” Cawthon stops hula-hooping and dies during a Fazburger newsletter.
07/13/85 - Freddy Fazbender’s, Arizona (#13) closes because Dave Miller is fired the same day and as revenge throws the Arizona location’s Foxy the Pirate animatronic into the Grand Canyon (Arizona Incident). The 32nd log from the location, recorded a few days later, shows the location’s phone guy complaining about employee Dave Miller and mourning Foxy. This phone guy is scrapped for trying to reunite with Foxy.
07/15/85 - Fazbender Entertainment writes a newsletter about the Arizona Incident.
07/xx/85 - Fazburger, California, (#54) closes because the Freddy animatronic made a burger that killed the health inspector. (Fazburgers were no longer opened after this)
07/xx/85 - Fazburger, California, (#55) closes because a worker got an order wrong so a customer began screaming, causing the Bonnie animatronic to leave the stage and rip their head off. (The Bonnie animatronics are said to be problematic by the company note)
07/xx/85 - Fazburger, Nevada, (#56) closes because a night guard was stuffed into a large burger and proceeded to crawl out of it the next morning, naked, and in front of customers. (The company note mentions the Fazbender Entertainment will attempt to avoid this in the future)
09/xx/86 - Foxy’s House of Pleasure, Las Vegas, Nevada, (#69) closes because a customer named Jack Fitzgerald Kennedy performed public sex acts on Walt Grouse, a performer in a foxy stripper suit. (The company not mentions that there are no locations #60-68 prior to DSaF 2) (This is referred to as the “Yiffening of ‘86” by Peter in DSaF 2)
11/11/86 - Fazbender Entertainment makes anti-fire propaganda featuring Matthew Virginia and sends it in a newsletter (This newsletter and Jack’s dialogue about it implies that he burned a Freddy’s location down. Which one, I am not sure).
xx/xx/87 - Jack Fitzgerald Kennedy is first hired by Fazbender Entertainment (likely during DSaF 1)
06/23/87 - 06/27/87 - DSaF takes place (location #47)
11/08/87 - 11/14/87 - a version of FNaF 2 takes place. We know Jack experienced FNaF 2 at some point because of various flipside dialogue, but we do not know when he did. The most likely dates that the DSaF version of FNaF 2 took place is probably the same dates that the original took place.
11/23/87 - 11/27/87 - DSaF 2 takes place (location (#59). Peter Kennedy dies afterwards but when is up to your choices, sorta happy ending, he gets bite of 87’d, good ending, he gets scrapped after the ending.
11/29/87 - Fazbender Entertainment releases a newsletter talking about the Bite of ‘87. They also mention that due to a new government law, they are not allowed to make any new locations.
xx/xx/87 (an ending only, as this is the ending Fredbear dies in) - Dave starts constructing the Fazbunker under Fredbear’s Family Diner to spy on Jack. Some time after, Jack becomes a technician there and gets scooped. This is the DSaF equipment of Sister Location, but it does not happen after any ending of DSaF 2 besides an ending.
90’s-20’s - Roger becomes a phone guy. Dave becomes one of the higher ups at Fazbender’s as almost everyone else is gone and he creates the “Start Your Own Freddy Fazbender’s Kit 1993 Edition”. Project: Save the Kiddins and DSaF 3 take place and the Godred tapes are (possibly) recorded. 08/15/92 - Dave probably murdered someone or someones (The Start Your Own Freddy Fazbender’s Kit 1993 Edition’s second tape shows Dave in a spring Bonnie suit in front of a camera that shows that date while he’s talking about murdering people).
xx/xx/93 - location 46’s 157th log is recorded by Jake Wilson and shows him freaking out about visions regarding his son. He goes rogue, looking through Boise, Idaho for his son. He goes through Montana, Utah, and Colorado as the memories about his son flood back. He goes to Nebraska and searches for months. He finally finds his son in December, but sees himself as a monster so he leaves. A search party is created led by Harry, but is called off due to Harry’s pity for Jake.
xx/xx/93 - Freddy’s is considered murder-free, although it is not guaranteed.
xx/xx/93 - The Start Your Own Freddy Fazbender’s Kit 1993 Edition is made
xx/xx/93 (DSaF 2 endings where Dave doesn’t become Davetrap only) -Project Save the Kiddins takes place, explaining how Dave becomes Davetrap in DSaF 3 even if he didn’t in DSaF 2 (I believe that a version of PSTK, probably closer to the original FNaF 1, takes place in endings where Dave did become Davetrap, as Jack would likely still want to apply for a Freddy’s location. The only notable differences would be Dave not interrupting Phone Guy’s calls and him not being playable on nights 7 and 8).
xx/xx/93 - Bert Weintraub, likely a night guard, is arrested for trying to assault Freddy Fazbear.
xx/xx/93 - Freddy Fazbender’s, West Texas, (#49) closes because the management was not notified that all of the locations had to close.
xx/xx/0x - (In the Godred files on the computer, there is a file named “FILE_ALPHA_01_0XX”. I have taken the “0XX” to be the year the file was made, although still quite possible untrue, especially since this file would’ve been made before Woodrow made his audio log). Godred is a demon disguised as a robot. He was not created like other robots. Someone takes photos of Godred, some in a graveyard and takes notes about him. This person (presumably not actually Woodrow, as they talk about him in third person, puts them in a file. It shows that Godred is known to be hostile, he often shows up in graveyards, can snap human necks, and can become pregnant. Should this occur, [GENESIS-641-D] will also occur, whatever that means. The final thing this document states is that Godred has visited the finder of the note before and if he visits you again, you will be dragged into the night.
xx/xx/01 - LOG_OMEGA_01_O01 is recorded. It shows Woodrow, a mechanic and designer at Freddy’s before becoming a phone guy, talking about Godred. He talks about how worrisome Godred’s abilities are. He speaks of Godred visiting him once in his sleep and says that he created a spider robot named Music Man to keep him awake so that Godred does not visit again. He says that he hopes it will “buy him some time”, possibly to destroy Godred. It does not work and he is killed sometime after recording the log.
xx/xx/02 - LOG_OMEGA_01_O02 is recorded. It simply shows Music Man rebooting, scanning for Woodrow, finding that he is not on the premises and leaving to find a suitable nesting place so that he may lay his eggs to create more Music Men to keep more people awake, saving them from Godred.
Early 2023 - a version of FNaF 3 takes place (Please note that the year this happens is just a guess on my part as in the original saga, the game takes place 30 years after FNaF 1 which is 2023. In DSaF, it would also be 2023, but it’s never stated that it happened 30 years after Project: Save the Kiddins. It could take place any time after 1993 and before June of 2023).
06/01/23 - 10/31/23 - DSaF 3 (location #52) takes place
10/31/23 (only after the good ending) - “DSaFTales: Nothing.” Takes place which is a story about what happens to Henry after the end of DSaF 3’s good ending that Direct Dogman wrote on Tumblr. It shows Henry reacting to being dead in a denying way and witnessing an event that happened between he and William before anything we’ve seen in the games so far. It ends with him seeing the eyes of something.

2024.02.28 22:15 GlassBoxes Canadian got married in Vegas last week, a couple shout outs/positive reviews:

-Downtown Grand Hotel & Casino. We stayed there last year, got a room in the newly reno'd gallery tower. It was affordable and clean and not too loud, so we recommended it to our guests. My wife and I are both from solidly working class families but each have the equivalent of a "rich uncle" used to staying somewhere swanky, and we heard nothing but good things about the DG. A couple guests had rooms in other towers and they're older-looking but still not shabby and no one had noise issues. A couple of hiccups, probably unavoidable statistically speaking with 40 rooms or so, but the staff sorted everything with no issue. Aundria and Royale at front desk, Vincent at Valet, James at the door, just absolute killers at their jobs. They also refunded all of our guests two days of resort fees since the pool was "down for maintenance" and we as Canadians partially chose the Grand because it advertises year-round pool. People *really* liked the size of it, being able to get back to your room in a couple minutes, easy to meet up in the casino, etc. I would say my only complaint was that they could use another bartender in the evening 'cause it got a bit hectic. Oh, and the 2 dollar hot dog and beer special was very popular, we even stopped in with our bridal party partway through the day of photos.
-Atomic LiquoAtomic Kitchen. I love this place. Being a frickin' nerd, I'm very into the kitschy atomic thing, and the history of the place. We had a meet and greet party the night before the wedding since we had 75 people coming from out of town so we booked Atomic Kitchen for a few hours. We requested a slight time change about a month before the event in order to accommodate some folks who couldn't get in until later and they gave us no hassle at all. They set up a small taco bar and kept refilling it all night, and the tacos and all the salsas were delicious. I was slightly frustrated that we- As in I, the guy paying the bill- Had to keep telling randos that it was a private party because for some reason they just would not put a little sign on the door, but again, I got so much good feedback from our guests that in retrospect it was a minor thing.
-Pizza Rock downtown. We took our bridal party and family there for dinner before the ceremony and everyone loved it. The staff there are ON TOP of things. We got a semi-private room, the food was great, the drinks were great, no one waited ages for anything, it was brilliant.
-Little Church of the West. Yeah, we did the Elvis thing. It went off so well, our guests really loved it. It was in turns sentimental and funny, he sang a bit, the whole thing was a well-oiled machine but never felt rushed, and then their photographer took photos of us and they're all incredible, best I've ever looked I'll say that. My family being a little older tends to lament the lack of "traditional" weddings (my brother did the church/rent a hall in our hometown thing, my uncle said grace in German, etc) but even they said they really enjoyed it. Plus they have a livestream for the folks who can't make it!
-The Lexi (formerly the Artisan). We booked the barestaurant (which you can only access through the bar)/patio for our reception way back in April '22 when it was VERY kitschy, maybe bordering on tacky? We kinda dig that. We were told there would be renos completed by November of that year, but we visited in January '23 and not much had changed, so I was a little nervous- If nothing changed that's fine, but if it was half renovated, that would be an issue. The events manager Jennifer Baker kept well in touch with us throughout, sent us pictures of concept drawings, etc. She left in December and her replacement seemed to know what was happening, but then THEY left in January with apparently no notes. So 10 days before our wedding, the GM had no clue what was happening and had booked the restaurant for a dinner. Some back and forth and forwarding of old emails and they agreed that our event would take place as we had always agreed, so it was all sorted and they really knocked it out. Two bartenders who did a great job, the restaurant area served as a wonderful "quiet room" for older folks as well as the snacking area (everyone was quite pleased with the charcuterie served and especially the fruit since after a few days in Vegas you'd kill a man for fresh fruit) and guestbook. They also made sure there was lots of water on the tables when we showed up which everyone was VERY excited about in the unseasonably-warm-for-Vegas temperatures. The renos look good, BTW! Very cool and hip. Good free coffee in the lobby, too.
-Biggest positive would be our photographer, Sarah Jay www.sarahjayphotographylv.com @sarahjayphotographylv she did some zoom meetings with my wife while I was away working, wife loved her, I finally met her a week prior and did as well. She had great ideas for spots to shoot, worked with our rather large bridal party that sometimes needed wrangling, kept things MOVING, all of us laughing and the shots we've seen so far have been wonderful. She even came out to the meet and greet for a bit and she was impressive. Unobtrusive, but it seems like every time I'd be talking to a cousin or uncle I hadn't seen in awhile, there she was getting some shots. I can not tell you enough how great she was. Everyone adored her.
-We hired local friends to DJ. They're subculture guys who play bars and various subculture festivals and so are we sort of, but we wanted a pretty strictly mainstream thing what with old people and family- They did a fine job, even with the country music stuff that is not in their specific wheelhouse, and anytime we asked for a slight tweak, volume or genre-wise, they obliged. Floor was busy all night long.
Honestly, I lived 700 miles away from home for 5 months as we planned this, and of course we live in a whole other country, it's amazing to me that this all happened. So many people had to have their shit together and it all worked out. Also, it was my first time being out and about in Vegas as a city you live in for real (grocery shopping etc) and people are just nice all over.
Not-wedding-related but worth a mention, we took some folks to Le Thai for lunch when they arrived and everyone loved it. Many went back, one ate lunch there every day. Place rules.

Decided to post something about my FNaF OC (Mary)! ---------------------------- Mary was born on 17/05/1978 at 4:57 AM in Hermosillo, Sonora (Mexico), before any of the tragic events happened, she used to live Normally with her Mother (Lauren) and her Twin Brother (Thomas) in a small Neighborhood. On the 2th of August of 1982, when Mary was 4 years old, at 2:36 AM exactly.. an Unknown Man broke inside her House while her, and the rest of her Family were sleeping. it wasn't until a few minutes later when her mother woke her up, since her Brother alerted her Mother about the sounds he was hearing. before the Three of them all Left the House, the Man was holding a gun, and shot Thomas twice, killing him. Lauren had no other choice, but to leave Thomas there since she still was at risk of losing her life trying to save her Son. Fortunately, her and Mary both managed to Escape away and decide to move to Reno, Nevada, where they met the Aftons. It wasn't until October of 1982 when they moved with the Aftons, Mary began her life with the Afton kids as her step-siblings and William as her step-father. Skipping to a few years later, in 1987, it was Elizabeth's birthday. Mary has accidentally witnessed how Circus Bailly (Circus Baby) took away Elizabeth after tricking her with a Vanilla ice cream cone. Mary tried alerting Michael about what she Witnessed, but he thought that she only had Nightmares about Elizabeth. Unfortunately, for her, William already knew that She knew about Elizabeth. a few hours later, at 8 PM During dinner, William poisoned Mary's Pizza in Purpose, as he couldn't let anyone see, hear or know about Elizabeth. Mary died a few minutes later after eating the Pizza as a result of getting Poisoned. (She died at the age of 9 Btw.)

I have a double whammy of being diagnosed with GD and being in the middle of a home reno with access to only a fridge and a microwave, so needless to say, my meal prep options are limited and there are plenty of times when I just need to eat out. Figured I’d start a thread for all of us mamas curious about what might be GD friendly out there (within 30-45 grams of carbs according to their nutrition calculators).

S1 E1. Straight after Sonic Drone home. Knuckles uses a chainsaw to escape the bushes he then runs through the forest and destroys trees as they fall down. he punches rocks blows up sonics cave. dashes through the logs along with Badniks and lasers. and Lightning comes out from his body. witch causes all the trees to fall down. Knuckles then runs to green hills steal somebodys car. and drives through the town. he crashes into windows ties people up and destroys lots of cars. Knuckles then goes into Wades apartment For Support. Knuckles explains that sonic destroyed Maddies books and got all of the blame. And Knuckles is planning ton kill sonic. back to Sqaure one. However Wade tells him that this is not the right thing and suggest to him that they can go london to kill Imogrants and go to reno to meet pistol Pete. Knuckles agrees. So Knuckles and wade goes to the Wachowskis house and waves goodbye. Knuckles and wade then drives to the Airport and goes on an airplane. Since Knuckles is an Animal he was locked up. so Knuckles let himself free and letted out monkeys Chipmunks Lions Tigers and Bulldogs. when they escape they cause Masscres. They throws take seats of throws them. throwing trays throwing screens scraching people. lights falling down. plane Hijacked. its an absolute Masscre. then the plane explodes and lands onto the sea. The roof is off. and the plane looks like a rowing boat. so then everyone on the plane starts rowing across the sea and lands in Margate. Knuckles and wade goes on a taxi to London. in London we go to Oxford street and an original Musical Number plays explaining how much they love London. Its a parade day. Then Knuckles and Wade goes to a dampy hotel and meets an Old Woman. They settle in and sleeps on a Dirty Matchress for the night. Eating Bangers and Mash with Gravy. S1 E2. during the morning Knuckles and wade wakes up. gets dressed brush their teeth shower bath eat breakfast. and watch some TV. Wade is going to a gay parade and Knuckles is going into a Gym Class for Children for Kids ages 4-12. He signs up and gets the job and meets the children. Knuckles does Yoga Push up Burpies star jumps and more exersises. They climb on Monkey bars. climb up high things. weight lift rowing on Exersise bikes running on Trademills. punching Bags Karate punching woods and more. After this Knuckles decides to walk around a street shop. we then see an English teacher at a Seconderry School getting arrested for stealing a Statue. she goes home and starts drinking corona. this woman is suzies Mom. then we see a girl who look like Edi Patterson coming home and we see her farther and his boyfriend who looks like kid kudi. They mock her for bringing a boy in and starts a party with their drag voices. later that Night This girl sees her farther owning an ice cream truck. her farther her Bipolar disorder and explains that he is going to own an ice cream and rule the world. she disowns and daughter and assults her. then the ice cream truck explodes witch causes the farther to grab a knife and try to kill her. after this Knuckles and Wade scrubs the walls for fun. S1 E3. with G.U.N Trying to Find Robotnick. a lady explains to him that they found the Military top secret weapon named Project Shadow. Shadow wakes up and bangs on the Capsule. Walter walks into the base and into the Hallways. he goes into a room Called Project Shadow. we see Shadow explaining to Walter about revenge and he will fufill his promise to Maria. she shouts and makes threats. Walter then gives Shadow Dementia and puts him back into suspended animation. Then we see Agent stone walking through the battlefields and seeing Robotnicks dead body. his skin is blue flies are eating him. Agent Stone cries and explains that he will continue on his Legacy. Agent stone then steals some ring portals and goes to London. we then see an Ad about Villien con in London where all Villains can unit together and plan to end the world. Agent stone then gets a taxi as the taxi drives around the city and the Highways and we go up a hill. we see the ground opening up leading to a stairwell. Agent stone then walks through the stairwells and into Villaincon. he sees many Different Stools. he talks to people about their plans and how evil there are. then the main show starts. on stage there is singing dancing and evil plans. then we see a lady Named Gemma Robotnick. she looks like Ellie Taylor. she explains that she will destroy the world and everyone will die. but she will need a sidekick to help. with everyone having their hands up. Gemma declines all of them. but then Villain con gets blown up by G.U.N Stools destroyed stage destroyed roofs fall down stairs exploded and more. everyone made it out just in time. Agent stone then steals someones car and drive off. however two cars crash into each other. we see Lady Robotnick and agent stone fighting but soon become friends. Agent stone explains about Project Shadow and will use him for revenge. they agree to unleash Him but first they need to do something bad. they rob the bank and gets Arrested. they are both put into a cell and talks about their plans. then it is dinner time. there are lots to food to have. Burgers roast Pizza Hotdogs and More. However everyone is forced to eat dinner before night because there are lots of Jews in Jail. this is the Shabbat Dinner. everyone eats in a montage. then later that night Lady Robotnick and Agent stone makes an escape plan. Lady Robotnick yells that stone is dead. A cop runs in and enters the cell. Gemma shoots the bloke and they make a run. but with guards holding guns. The couple shoots at ropes and ties them up. they defeat drones dash through lasers. breaks doors down and steals a car. then the prison explodes and everyone dies. once they drive down a hill. Agent stone and Lady Robotnick agrees to Kill Knuckles to death and laugh. S1 E4. Wade and Knuckles wakes up and do their morning routine. But this time they are having a laugh on the Reception desk talking to an old woman. The duo Then packs their bags and leave the hotel. they go on a taxi. and travels to Cornwall. At a beach lots of people are swimming and relaxing on the sand. then there is a band called the flames of Disarster Peforming music. They are a rock band. like crush 40. Knuckles and Wade are having the time of their lives. but then illegal imagrants travels from boats and invades the beach witch guns. they throw bombs sands explodes. People are tied up in the air. Then Knuckles and wade throws bombs at the ship and it explodes. they shoot the imogrants being tied up and some drowning to death. then the cliifs explodes and severeal rocks fall down. Knuckles and Wade Runs into a forest and drives down back to London. then we see lady Robotnick in oxford street grabbing Knuckles feet and throwing him on the road. she punches his cheeks and forehead stamps on his head. spins him like a yoyo. and throws him to windows and then abuses him some more. Lady Robotnick ends up getting tied up. Knuckles and wade goes into a car drives off and into an alley with heavy breathing. we then see Suzies mom again and keeps on drinking. The daughter who is Suzie is upset and concerned for her mother as she acts violent towards her. the Edi Patterson girl then runs to her house and knocks on her door. She explains that her farther has Bipolar disorder and is going Pycho. but then Suzies mom acts rude towards her and yells at some stuff. she slams the door. but then opens the door. she says sorry and tells her to come in. on the couch she explains that she is alcoholic and needs help. so the girl rings up rehab and she will start tomorrow. then the girl recives a text from her dad saying. he is going to kill himself. so Edi and suzies mon runs up to a bridge where the farther is ready to jump and kill himself. however they both tell him that it is not worth it. and due to this they call social services and takes the dad into a mental hospital. S1 E5. Knuckles and wade are waking up in a travelodge hotel in oxford street. they do there morning routine and then drives on a bus to a Yaught. wade and knuckles travels sailing and singing and into Reno. they go to the beach and sees many people dancing drinking mai tia. swimming and building sand castles. Wade and Knuckles walks to reno and goes into a casino. they meet pistole pete who is doing bowling. he is wades dad and they have a Conversation with each other. they go in an arcade Montage and Knuckles applies to work at the casino. he serves people drinks donut shoes toys merch food and more. he enjoys this job. then there is a hot dog eating Compatition. Knuckles applies and eats lots of Hotdogs. Knuckles win and get 300K Dollars. after that Knuckles and Wade are in a Luxury Hotel talking. Knuckles farts and wade wants to know where his anus is. knuckles explains that poo and wee comes out from a fur that opens up. Wade and Knuckles then goes to bed. S1 E6. we see Black doom in his castle. he tells the Black arms to invade reno witch they do. we then see Edi seeing her farther in the mentals home and the dad explains that he will stay in here until he gets better. we then see Suzies mom getting help at rehab. we see Knuckles who is working at the bar but then the black arms come in and throws him to a wall making a hole it in. Knuckles get fired and then this brings back memories from Mobius where he worked at a bar and got fired for being rude to a Mobian. Then Knuckles drowns his sorrows and drinks beer. but then the black arms are everywhere. they are bombing TVS. Making bowling pits explode. arcade stuff explodes roofs falling down walls destroyed the casino is Destroyed. then everyone runs the Black Arms are throwing cars and trucks. Knuckles then shoots them with a gun and then Someones throws him into the ball where the ball falls down rolls a bit and explodes. Pistol Pete and Wade help shoot the Black arms and they disappear like blocks of Pixels. but then we see Green machines they have lasers and badnicks. Knuckles goes through the Lasers Spin dashes badnicks and spindashes the mechs as they have red buttons everywhere witch causes them to explodes. he does this to lots of Green Mech in a montage. one of them was Agent stone. when Knuckles saw him stone ran to the woods and meet with Gemma. she is pissed for being exposed but then they throw a ring portal to green Hills. Knuckles then kills all the black arms and the mech. everyone claps and cheers for knuckles heroic actions. they say goodbye to Pistol Pete and Fly back to green hills. The plane then lands at an Airport run to green hills and then wade and Knuckles say goodbye. Knuckles smiles as wade goes back into his apartment. Knuckles then runs back to Tom and Maddies house. Sonic and Tails sees him and are happy to see him back home. the trio has a talk about what they did throughout the series and Happily laughed. Maddie is pissed for the books being destroyed but then Knows that it was just a mistake. Tails then grabs unit who is dead and destroyed and they just laughed. Then we go into Agent Stones House. they go into the closet and put G.U.N Disguises on. One year later. we go into G.U.N HQ. we see the two masked people with Topaz. and they both follow her. we then see Walters coming out from a truck and Topaz introduces herself. the show ends on a black screen with red sirens blaring and Walter shouting. Project Shadow is going to be unleashed several Times
