Honestly just not sure how much is a problem or what I can do. I’m an obese 29 y/o female already diagnosed with PCOS (Speculated as young as 12, formally diagnosed at like 16 when I was first put on metformin), and ADHD. I haven’t been to a doctor in years due to finances. But I did have a rheumatologist due to chronic pain, saw them 3 times before I lost my job + insurance. Based on bloodwork already done, I was tipping into prediabetic territory, and have definitely put strain on my liver. I don’t drink or smoke tobacco, I do smoke weed almost daily for pain and mental health.
My bowel movements have ALWAYS been loose. I rarely experience a healthy stool, and even more rarely get constipation. Whenever I have, it’s been due to medications.
I get poop that is clearly greasy and floats in the bowl, which seems to be indicative of fats not absorbing.
I get green, and I mean GREEN poops when I haven’t had anything green or dyed. Like today, green stool, but due to finances I’ve been eating almost nothing but PB&J, Ramen, Eggs, and milk. (I always try to get at least protein into a ‘meal’, but its been a particularly rough month and I haven’t been able to actually buy proper groceries for a couple weeks. Normally I buy loads of frozen vegetables and salad, but even then I’ll frequently get green stool after eating non-green vegetables. When I do eat leafy greens, the stool itself is rarely as vibrant, and I can see particles of leaves, so when it’s green for no reason it does look like food dye.)
I have been trying to connect my symptoms for ages and my bests guess is some kind of digestive disease with malabsorption, but I don’t seem to have enough symptoms for any of them, or at least none my googling can find. It seems like the green is from food passing from the small intestine too quickly, and the oiliness from not absorbing the oils, perhaps. I’ll also get pale, also beige/clay colored stools a couple of times a month. Frequently my stool also has mucus if it’s a particularly bad day, which seems to just indicate inflammation/agitation?
I know I should see a doctor, but I’m not used to being listened to. Everything is ‘lose weight’ which, yeah, obviously. I would just like some idea of what this might be so I can try to adjust my diet or eating habits to see if there’s improvement, or if I should try avoiding something in particular, I don’t know.

2 years ago I was placed in a group home (which I later found out was for people with serious issues)
Staff hated me and liked one of the other guys. And I mean, they hated me. Called me a piece of garbage, said I was probably a criminal before I was in there, told me not to breed, beat up on me when i wss in a depressive state. Would not let me defend myself. Other people spoke for me which distorted the staff's view further. They did nothing for me the entire year I was there (except get me hooked up with school but that was only after I'd been there for 10 months) and I wasn't allowed to leave the house
They eventually found me an apartment with one caveat: I needed to bring one of the other residents with me as a housemate. Said resident proceeded to take complete control of everything as soon as we moved in, he was bringing in prostitutes, smoking massive amounts of weed, smoking cigarettes in the apartment and blaming it on me
Then he started smearing my name and setting me up (and then laughing in my face about it as soon as we were alone) he told my therapist and our outreach worker that I talked about being a serial killer and I hear voices (neither of those things are true), that i was bullying him with my (high) test results in school when I was not, which csused people to not care.
Eventually he ended up killing a mouse in front of me (which I did report extensively but I don't think anybody believed) and I went back to living with my mom.
So now here I am 2 years later. I am a shut in. My therapist of 5 years left me after basically telling me I deserved my trauma and I'm s "chew toy". Whenever I bring up the situation with my housemate the conversation is either dodged because it's "too toxic" or they start rambling about how I'm "in my own head and thinking we're all out to get me" (gaslighting is another tactic housemate liked to use)
I feel like I'm fucked. They've been identifying mental health issues on the more psychotic side that I don't have, telling me all my thoughts are wrong and telling me I'm gonna end up as a drug addict or homeless on the street.

So I, (21m) have been dating a girl (23f) Maisie. We have worked together for about 2 months. We started dating in her second week. We have been on two dates, and have been flirting a little but she says she wants to take things slow and get to know me. I also work with my friend “M” (23m). M is very good looking and has always been a bit of a ladies man, but recently decided to settle down and he now has a gf. He didn’t meet Maisie until her second week, because he was on holiday.
I believe Masie and M are sleeping with each other. And there are numerous reasons why.

1. Their first convo is seared into my brain. On Maisies second day of work M came in. I was talking to her and introduced the two of them. It instantly got so egregiously flirty, that I can remember the whole thing word for word.
   
2. At work she’s always super touchy with him. She will sit on his lap, lean on him, cuddle up to him while they’re vaping as its “cold” etc. This happens so often people always ask if there’s something happening between them and they always answer “don’t be silly, he has a gf”
   
3. One time I invited her out drinking with some other colleagues and she said yes. She asked M if he was going and he said he was just gonna get high instead. She said she’d rather do that and invited him to her house to smoke.
   
4. They now go to the gym together so they hang out outside of work multiple times a week. (They’re both gym fanatics)
   
5. I asked Maisie what she thought of Ms gf and she said she hadn’t ever met her, which seems odd considering how much time she spends with M.
   
6. When another girl (Beth) joined who M used to sleep with Maisie seemed to really not like her and still doesn’t, and gets annoyed and says shes an “attention seeker” when she like sits on his lap or gives him hugs (things she also does)
   

The last straw was Saturday after a night out, me and some other work friends were supposed to be going back to Maisies house to drink more. At about 2am when we are on the way back she says she wants to buy weed and calls M. (he sells). He answers and tells her to come round. She goes over to his place and we wait outside. While in there she calls me and says she’s tired and doesn’t want to drink anymore, so she’s just going to smoke at his place and spend the night there.
I’m on speaker so I ask M whats going on and he said she invited him to go drink with them and he said he was too tired, and she said she was too and asked if she could stay as she couldn’t be bothered to go home (she lives like 5 mins walk from him) I complain a little and he says “what do you want me to do kick her out?” Making me sound like the bad guy. I ask if we can all come in and smoke then, and he says “It’s 2am and you guys have already woke me up. I don’t want 7 drunk people in my house when I wanna sleep”. So I leave it and we all go home.
The next day at work I ask if his gf is cool with Maisie staying over. He gives me a dirty look and tells me to mind my own business and stop being a jealous dick. I ask him wtf he means and he gets annoyed and says him and Maisie are just friends and it’s not his fault if I’m getting no where with her, and to leave his relationship out of it. This seems really hostile considering he is supposed to be one of my close friends, and I felt like my comment wasn’t that deep.
Then yesterday I come into work and they’re both outside vaping. She has his hands up his top and her head is like on his chest. I ask what’s going on and she just says “I’m cold”. I just nod and walk in.
Now I’m wondering if I should talk to his gf about it? They are both denying it but I feel like I’m being a pushover, and I feel like I want to do something. Should I do it?

You wonder how you got on Gripeo to begin with? RemoveReport's Martin Horan / Vikram Parmar (same person) posted you on there using AI. He gets his contacts from press outlets that reputation companies publish to or scrolls the internet looking for wealthy people who have a negative article online about them, then writes a story about you.
If you reach out to Gripeo to remove your post, you will suddenly get an email from Martin Horan at RemoveReports that he can remove it for a few thousand dollars. It is the same person who owns Gripeo under an alias. You will pay Martin Horan to remove Gripeo and it will be removed within a few days, but then it will pop up on a dozen other sites that he owns and he will want more money. He will go by fake names over and over. Other sites he controls that he will extort you with are Complaintsboard, Defaulters.com, Letmeexpose.is, Scamion, ScamPulse, DirtyScam, HolySmoke, LawTally, ProConsumer.com, CompaintBox.com, NameandShame.com, IsItaScam.com and many others.
His Freelancer.com page is also a scam, he goes by "Growth Hacker", the "SmartVMP". He will write extortion pieces on his sites, then convince the client that they need to hire him to fix it.
His full legal name is Vikramsinh Parmar but he goes by Nathan Howard and Amit Tiwari. He claims Gripeo is under new ownership, but it is not. He pretends that so he can escape a lawsuit by Telf AG, currently in litigation in Los Angeles County. He lives in India, so he will probably escape it. But he has been in jail before in India for running another scam. As the NYTimes story above said, he used to run a company called RepZe. Once he got busted, he started RemoveReports.com. He will probably start another reputation company again to hide.

So, you wonder how to combat this extortionist? Hire a reputation management company to do suppression on his slander. They will create positive articles about you to outrank it, and make it nearly impossible to be found. Whatever you do, do not pay for a removal on any of his sites. You will be stuck like I was in a never endling loop of paying extortion fees.

After seventeen years as a JW, i found myself so disturbed and distraught (i.e., sighing and groaning) over what was going on that i just couldn't bring myself to attend the meetings anymore. We see from these three scriptures that Yhwh will not abandon those whose heart is exclusively devoted to Him. He delivers them by His strength (2Chron. 16:9). His Spirit can bring them to the truth (John 6:44; 14:6) as He does for each faithful anointed one, as well as all those who may accept the "fine fruit" the faithful witnesses offer (Matt.10:40,41,42; Matt.7:20; Rev.11:3,4).
Regarding your question, Yhwh has begun to make me aware of what I must do, as well as how to do it. You are right that God's "Land" must be warned (Jer.25:30,29; Rev.2:20; 13:14). It is true that Satan has erected a wall around God's people. It would seem impossible to penetrate that wall with the judgment message. Remember the wall of Jericho? That prophecy will be fulfilled in its grandest meaning, in our very day (Josh.6:8,13; Rev.8:6). I am going to ask everyone whose heart inclines him to obey Eze.33:7,8 to be a part of the upcoming universal witness. For, it is the final one to be given. I am talking to another anointed one about how Holy Spirit is guiding this final warning. I will most certainly post all the details, as we become certain of how to do this in harmony with Yhvh's approval. The wall of Jericho fell, partly due to the blowing of the 7 horns of the priests (Joshua 6:8). This final wall of false teachings, which holds captive God's Called Ones, falls by the same means, as symbolized in Revelation (Rev.8:6). "Whether they hear, or whether they refrain" the warning must be given (Eze.2:5). This warning will be the main tool used to harvest the remaining wheat of anointed, upon which the arrival of the Kingdom awaits (Rev.14:14,15,16; 6:11). It is a very important activity, and I hope everyone possible will offer themselves to support it. The lives of those whom we regard as our "brothers and sisters", as well as the anointed who are still asleep and in chains, hangs in the balance. Yhvh tells us that they are beyond conversion to truth, by the "breastplates of iron" which they wear (Rev.9:9). While the entire "house"/"land"/"fold" of God's people are blinded by these insect vessels of darkness (Rev.9:2,3; Jer.25:29,30; Rev.12:16) and it causes them to leave loyalty to Yhvh; not all are those insects of authority/elders. We can not condone the idolatry of "Jehovah's Witnesses", nor continue to remain in company with them (Psalm 26:4; 1Cor. 5:11; Rev.18:4). But Ezekiel chapter 2 is clear, we must witness to them this final warning.
Jesus clearly showed me that the great majority will not heed the warning, not because we did not reach them with it, but due to their own hardened hearts, they stand as judged. Yhvh abandons them to their own desire. (Luke 17:28-37 LINK; 2Thess. 2:11; Ps.94:23) I hope you can see why this warning needs to be given. It saves us individually from blood-guilt. It establishes Yhvh's justice in condemning the wicked (who were first given warning). It saves those who can hear. It seals the rest of those who prove faithful, as well as the unfaithful "ten kings" who side with the Beast. All extremely important events of prophecy! I hope all who possibly can, will help. TL;DR: okay so I’m in college (20f) and have a guy friend (21m) I’m really close to, we talk on the phone together and hang out every day to smoke and chill with our friends. we’ve been friends for several months. he just graduated but is still staying in town for work so I still see him all the time. a while ago I started having a really intense attraction toward him and want to sleep with him so bad. I think part of that is because of how emotionally secure our friendship is. thing that makes it kind of weird is that one of his best friends and I drunkenly hooked up once but neither of us had feelings or wanted to do that again and it blew up for everyone. I got closer with my friend after that happened because he would listen and was there for me during a rough time. I thought for a while maybe there would be no chance because of that but idk. It’s getting to the point now where I think about it all the time and it’s driving me crazy and I don’t know what to do. It’s summer now so it kinda feels like the right time if there is one. I don’t really want to ask him straight out but any other suggestions? specifically I don’t really know how to flirt with him and could use some helpful tips and other suggestions.

Short background: I work as a senior pentester (consulting, not internal) doing primarily network and assumed breach pentests for my clients.
The last few weeks I've been working an assumed breach test for a client and was able to privesc fairly quickly into the test. Nothing strange there, typical client AD weak/misconfigs.
While doing post-ex recon on the domain, I noticed something very strange when running BloodHound. Typically, the first thing I do after importing my collection zip into BH is I take a screenshot of the Domain Admins group as my simple "hey heres what bloodhound looks like" for my report walkthrough. Easy enough, right? Go into bloodhound, type "Domain Admins" into the search bar, select the DA group, expand the group members. Only issue is there wasn't a "Domain Admins" group in BH... like, at all. Okay, odd but I can work around that. Lets look at "Enterprise Admins".Odd again, it wasn't present. I thought maybe I pulled in a bad zip or my data was somehow corrupted in a way i've literally never seen before. So I type in "ADMINISTRATORS@" to see if thats there and, lo and behold, it was there.
Returning to my assumed breach host, I run a simple powershell script to enumerate domain users that gets output to a csv and also run ldapdomaindump. Checking out ldapdomaindump, I see that "Domain Admins" is referenced in recursive group memberships, but is not an actual entry in my domain_groups* files. However, "Domain Admins" is listed in the group membership of several users in my domain_users* files.
Checking my powershell output, which includes the full DN for users' group membership, i DO see "Domain Admins" and "Enterprise Admins" DNs for several users. This is when i noticed something else strange about these privileged groups.
Typically, and by default, the "Domain Admins" and "Enterprise Admins" groups are within the "CN=Users, DC=, DC=" container. so DA for a domain of "shell.smoke" would have a DN of "CN=Domains,DC=shell,DC=smoke". But in my harvested data for my client's domain, the "Domain Admins" and "Enterprise Admins" groups were moved to a different container underneath Active Directory Administrative Center (CN=Domain Admins, OU=ADAC,...). This was absolutely wild to me, because never in my career had I seen an organization move the DA and EA groups to a completely new OU structure within AD.
I did some further testing to see what was going on. I hopped onto a DC with winrm and tried to lookup the groups by name, but got an error saying object not found, which i kind of expected by this point. But also kind of weird and kind of to be expected, using powershell to "resolve"/"translate" the full SID of these groups was successful, translating -512 gave me "\Domain Admins". But then trying to get the AD object by directly referencing the SIDs ended up with the same result as referencing by name, object not found. Getting onto RDP on a DC and navigating through ADAC I was hopping I could find SOMETHING, literally anything, pointing to what had happened here. ADAC has a "Recycle Bin" of sorts, and there were entries in there but nothing related to what i was looking for.
Later on in testing I tried making a golden ticket with impacket, using the defaults that'll add the DA and EA SIDs into the ticket, and that did work to effectively give me DA access to hosts. Likewise, requesting a TGT for an account that was supposed to be in the privileged groups and using the describeTicket script from impacket to decrypt the "enc-part" of the ticket showed me it did have the appropriate group SIDs for the privileged groups.
Basically, I'm at a loss at what the hell is going on here. Attempting to do some googling on the topic pretty much just led to dead ends revolving around removing DA from hosts' local administrators group... so completely useless. Referencing Microsoft's documentation on security groups (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-serveidentity/ad-ds/manage/understand-security-groups) did show me that you can in fact move some of the privileged groups out of the default container, like DA and EA, but not some others, like Administrators. That's interesting and all, but why would anyone do this and then seemingly remove the groups? I dont have a Windows Server image laying around to play with to see what this looks like from an admin's perspective, but would there be any kind of security or warning prompt if you tried to move these groups, and then again if you attempted to remove them? What kind of implications would these group NOT being present in AD have for their AD security? Clearly, based on my golden ticket, you can still inject the appropriate SIDs into a forged ticket and they'll be recognized, but if the objects don't exist in AD, considering i couldnt even reference them directly by SID, how could a Service properly determine whether an account with those SIDs in a ticket should be given access? Most EDR and AD monitoring services that are configured to monitor and alert on changes to privileged AD groups keep an active watch on the actual containers themselves, with limited ability (pretty much just Windows Event Logging) to identify rogue use of the groups.
Any insights, answers, thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated. I definitely intend to make some mention of this in my report, but since this is my first time encountering this I'm kind of at a loss for what the overall implication of this is and how this can even happen to begin with.

I’m gonna try to make this as simple as possible. Basically I’ve been dealing with this woman since 2019 and at first I thought she was sweet, spiritual, and innocent, boyyyy was I wrong.. as time went on I started to see the real her. She’s very manipulative, a pathological liar, narcissist, and she has cluster B border line personality disorder. The night we met she fed me a bunch of lies which I uncovered overtime for example she told me the first night we met that she had been raped the year prior while she was in school(which I later found out was not true whatsoever. Months down the line she would even talk about exs that were “abusive” towards her which I later also found out wasn’t true. Fast forward to February of 2020 she ended up pregnant with our first child and a couple months into the pregnancy she just decided she’s not gonna deal with me anymore, so I ended up dating a woman I’ve known since middle school. She found out about this and next thing I know the sheriffs are serving me a restraining order accusing me of rape!!! When we showed up for court she immediately dropped the order before we even could talk to the judge. Fast forward to when my child was born in December of 2020 she texts me that she just had the baby and I asked if I could come up there and she said “no” and as time goes on she start’s blatantly keeping my child from me I didn’t meet my first born until February of 2021, and that’s when she tried to reconcile whatever situationship we had and would go on to apologize for the accusations saying her family foster her to do that so that I won’t be able to be in my child’s life which of course was a lie that was her decision. As time goes on the girl I was dating passed away and I was distraught so my baby mother comes around and I ended up coming up on money and decided to get us an apartment with our child two months into staying there I had a seizure while sleeping and instead of staying there to help she takes my child and leaves and proceeded to text my mom a picture of me in bed having the seizure and even tells my mom I was hitting her while having a seizure …. She blocked me again after that and a month later comes back around againnnn I guess basically to just have sex with me and then blocks me again and keeps me from my child, and at that point she was pregnant with my second child. I didn’t see my oldest for 6-7 months I had moved on to a nice relationship with a wonderful woman by that time and my second child was born, and that’s when I decided to take this stuff to court and the judge reprimanded her for isolating my kids from me and a custody order was placed for them to be with me every other weekend. During the custody court date she tried telling the judge I was abusive and all that nonsense and the judge seen right through it and didn’t pay it any attention, so two months after that she starts reaching out more and trying to have normal conversations and I would go along with it like a idiot and she wanted to hook up again and we did a few times, in which my girlfriend found out and we broke up and then weeks after that my baby moms ghost me again, still following the order tho. A month later my girlfriend and I got back on good terms and she notices and tries to get me to sabotage my relationship again! It doesn’t really work and I came to find out she would tell her family I was abusing her and a bunch of other ridiculous lies. This time CPS gets involved and investigates me for DV, which didn’t work. Now let’s fast forward to two years later, my babymom keeps coming in and out of my life(I don’t know why I let her honestly) she thinks about leaving to the military and I took the kids while she tries to go to the recruiting camp or whatever to see if she can enlist which she can’t because apparently she’s been committed by her mother a few times.. I stopped dealing with her for a while until some months back, she calls herself apologizing for everything she’s done to me and we start hanging out again but at this point I no longer am in love with her I wanted to go be with the woman I was still in love with that she thought she Sabotaged, and when I confessed this to her and that I can’t deal with how much she lies and plays these mental games and before I try to go home she tells me she’s gonna kill herself when I go home and I had her committed at her own request, she stayed for about a week and a half. Gets out and was put on meds and therapy which she stopped using after a couple of months. Me and the girl I’m in love with are still seeing each other and me and my babymoms stopped dealing with each other yet again. I get a knock on the door about a month or two later with getting served another restraining order falsely accusing me of abuse yet again I didn’t fight it cuz I’m really tired of her at this point. We started hanging out just taking the boys to the park and stuff like that just to try to bond with our kids as a family despite everything… she starts wanting to get intimate and I actually didn’t want to this time and then she starts telling me a bunch of lies about how she hasn’t been with anybody and a whole bunch of non sense that I know is false, and I snapped on her and called her out on all of it, I went wrong in the conversation and threw her phone back at her but it wasn’t in a aggressive way it hits her on the eye and I apologized and everything and I still say I don’t wanna be intimate with her and wanna be with the same woman that I’m in love with still, and then she begins to start that “I wanna kill myself” bullshit again except this time I don’t commit her cuz I realize she just tries to get pity from me and everybody else however she can. The next day she texts and asks for a bag she left at my house I told her I’d leave it on the porch for her. When she pulls up me and my girlfriend and her son are outside playing, out of nowhere her uncles jumps out her car and attacks me while my kids are watching from her car and my girlfriend’s son was right there in front of all this he then runs back to her car and they pull off quickly. The phone left her eye a lil black when I threw it at her and she even admitted that to my brother through text and to me in text that it was the phone, but typical crazy girl fashion she even texts my girlfriend after her and her uncle left a picture of her eye and says “you better leave him alone before this happens to you” she reported the incident to police weeks later but no charges were filed, CPS reached out to me yet again and I explain to them what happened over the phone and they didn’t seem to adamant about opening up a case. After the attack from her uncle I go to the courts and filed for motion of contempt for not following the custody arrangement on a few occasions, one of being that she had her u cake attack me with my kids present and one of the requirements on the order is to not let the other parent be harmed in any way in front of the children which the judge signed off on and we have court later today for. So yesterday she reaches out after it’s been almost two months since that whole attack from her uncle saying how she misses me and she wants to get the restraining order dropped, and she wants to sleep with me, and see me, and all that. And I actually let her come meet up with me at the mall just to kind of see where her headspace is. Long story short came to find out she was dating some guy and I told him all about her in which he agreed that she lies about every single thing and it’s almost impossible to believe a word out her mouth. this girl has some serious issues and I really want full custody of my boys because I’m scared for their safety being with her as she’s really unstable and flat out crazy, I know hiring an attorney would be the easiest route and me and my family are willing to go in on one but it’s so expensive that if I can do it without an attorney I would like that, would the judge wnat to hear about any of this at this custody violation hearing? Or should I open another case for that separately? I did mention to CPS when they asked me if I had any concerns about my kids being with her I didn’t really want to say too much because I was going to court anyway but I did tell them she smokes marijuana often and drinks very often. I know I should’ve just told them about her mental health problems right then and there but I was still kinda in shock they called me in the first place. Now most of this stuff is documented in texts and pictures, what would you do in this situation? Like what’s the best way of going about fighting her for full custody? This is in North Carolina btw.

be 15. your dad is an addict. at one point, around 2006, he broke his back. was prescribed roxycodone. you were born in 2009. about 2011, he gets sober. finally, you’re happy. mom is with dad, and you’re growing up slowly. your dad gets a job, and works almost every day all day. never really see dad, only be with mom. develop a very strong connection with mom. dad becomes an alcoholic, falling back into addiction. gets fired, and stays at home a lot more. gets more into smoking weed, and drinking. you’re 10 years old now, and your life is about to go down hill. notice that over time, your dad has become colder. constant arguments over nothing. constant yelling. never feeling important or loved. go to mom for help, mom is on 2 xanax everyday since she was 15. she’s very jaded, in her own mind often. okay, no emotional support from mom or dad. you’re 13 now. april of 2023, argue with dad. argument becomes so intense he walks to the kitchen, grabs a butchers knife and begins to drag the knife on his arm, implying he’s going to cut himself. never forget that. always have that, amongst the countless, painful, blocked out memories from your childhood to haunt you. move out when you’re 14 in october with your mom into an apartment. life is good, until she begins to cheat on your dad with the neighbor. dad is under the impression that they’re going to get back together. now you feel responsible to keep them together, try and comfort dad but realize he’s fucked. everything is just fucked. so now, your dad has chosen alcohol and drugs over you, and now your mom has abandoned you for men. dude she’s cheating with has been an alcoholic since he was 15. 15 is such a weird age, huh? he’s 35 now. talks about sex life with mom so much. move out in april of 2024 to aunt and uncles house. things are good for a while, but now that you’re at peace, you realize how empty you are. how you really haven’t done shit in 15 years but survive. december of 2023, dad gets a DUI. was high off xanax when he called you, telling you he’s gonna hit as many people on the road as he can. feel nothing. you’re so used to it, you don’t even care anymore. empty threats are all you’ve known. threats of suicide, murder, self harm, whatever. it’s all too much, so you steal 2 xanax from your mom, some wine, and a 1,000MG edible. throw up in the toilet, and practically fall asleep with your head in it. mom saw your most pathetic moment on this earth, and she didn’t seem to care much. now you’re here. 15. only thing you want to do is make music. no confidence. no money. no hope. 3 years until you’re 18. what are you going to do now? college? finish high school? i’d ask my friends, but i honest to god have none. absolutely none. you do homeschool, so you’re alone a lot. but you’re so scared of bullying, you’re too pussy to go to real school. so you just rot. you just cry, until you can’t anymore. until you have to chug 9 glasses of water to even get a tear out. this is life. this is all it is. it’s over at 15. over forever. you will never get another chance to be better. you are a failure. reflection of negativity, so negative your peers pick up on your suicidal thoughts without you saying anything.

I haven't ever smoked weed before, but I do use edibles.
I have a friend who smokes, and I want to try it. So I want to buy some weed and then I'll let my friend show me how to smoke.
I can find the strain Tangery Diesel in the same shop where I buy my edibles. It's about 80% sativa and 20% indica.
Would this work for a beginner? Or is it too strong? Can I just make normal joints with it?

I (18M) have been really, really lost in life. I don’t know what I want to do with my life. I’m currently finishing school (my last year). My grades are mediocre, and I feel like a really below-average student. I really don’t know what I am supposed to do. I don’t have a present dad, and I have an incredibly poor relationship with the rest of my family. No one has taught me anything useful in life, like how to socialize, how to get a job, how to pay my taxes, and the list goes on.
I don’t have a person to look up to, I don’t have a role model, and I don’t have anything that can support me, something or someone to help me get back on my feet. I’ve been single my whole life (had a couple of relationships before, but they were middle school relationships). I’ve dealt with depression before and had a couple of attempts, but they honestly don’t bother me that much anymore. What bothers me is that I feel weak and helpless. I don’t want to show weakness and go around looking for help, but I also feel so vulnerable and helpless, constantly seeking someone to talk to, a shoulder to "cry" on.
Recently, I’ve been skipping meals and smoking cigarettes, even though my whole life I hated smokers. I’m scared, insecure, and afraid in general. I feel like a hug and a "You’re doing your best" would fix all of my problems right now. I just really feel ungrateful because I have some cool friends and a house to live in. There are way more people in worse situations than I am right now. I feel like im just a loser that has a lot of love to share, but i have no idea how to, I want to be loved.

Kind of a random thing to post but NSI season is back and I know that this time last year I was searching for some tips. If anyone finds this I was the girl who broke both her legs in Charlie 1 last year cycle 3. Anyways, here are some super random tips for those of you about to go.

1. Feminine supplies, you can bring your own and you SHOULD, what they supply are tampons and overnight pads, they will not take them from you if you bring your own. Also put your hairbrush, hair ties, and gel in a similar bag to grab. They took my bag with my stuff in them and I was stranded with 2 hair ties until we got to go to the recruit store.
   
2. Bring a backpack, not a duffel, not a suitcase. Just trust.
   
3. Wear a polo and khaki pants, if you have a unit polo and belt even better. My unit did not tell me that and it really sucked to stick out like a sore thumb. If you're a girl come with your hair done.
   
4. If you have longer hair get a donut bun or bun twisties, I used both but much preferred the twisties. They will not issue supplies to do your hair.
   
5. When you shower (if you're female or just dirty) grab your display towel and put it inside of your rack, then grab another towel from the rack and use them, you will be on your period for random times, if you stain your white towel you're screwed. Leave a tampon in until after you shower or whatever.
   
6. You wash your waterbottles with bleach, they will taste like pool water. You're not drinking bleach you're fine. Really scrub the creases with a bleach papertowel if you can, mold will start to grow in them by week 2, and will make you more sick than you already are.
   
7. You WILL get sick. Try and take 1,500mg of vitamin C every day for a week before hand.
   
8. Try and get moleskin early your feet will be torn up, layer it on everyday BEFORE you get blisters.
   
9. Get the shoe insoles and extra cough drops, drip drop, and hair gel from the recruit store.
   
10. They don't use (a lot of) salt to cook the food, layer it on you'll start to pass out due to lack of electrolytes.
    
11. ONLY PETTY OFFICERS ARE ALLOWED TO SEE CHITS, don't get bullied into anything else and don't do anything outside of your chit if you get issued one, they are orders from the medical officers.
    
12. If you get allergy medication only take it at night, it will make you drowsy all day and fall asleep during classes.
    
13. Fix your uniform and the organization of your rack at night.
    
14. Learn to count before you go, you know who you are people who can't.
    
15. Journal what you learn and your experience, you'll enjoy it afterwards.
    
16. Just turn your brain off like 80% of the day, don't think too much into anything, it's good if the petty officers and MIDN don't know your name for being stupid.
    
17. Try not to get pink eye or covid or foot fungus or strep or whatever candidate crud is floating around.
    
18. Don't give up, I broke my legs (8 stress fractures on my left and six on my right from distance running pre-NSI and a bad accident at NSI) and I was out there doing fire fighting on 5,000mg of ibuprofen to pass, it's not that bad I promise. Let the Hooyah lobotomy happen. Enjoy being a boot while at NSI.
    
19. Don't try and get your family to see graduation, let them travel for your commission, NSI graduation is lame, you get to see them for 15 mins and then get loaded on a bus right after to be shipped home anyways, but if they're close go for it.
    
20. If you like keepsakes make a 'yearbook' I took a page off of my legal page and had all of my friends sign it on the last night, with words of encouragement/fun stuff. I framed it and love to see it and all the memories.
    
21. If you're not good at something ask someone to teach you at night, people will help you if you ask. It's important that you know how to drill. You don't want to be the reason your division is smoked.
    
22. For you nervous folks the gas chamber will be the easiest thing you do. Stress about it the least.
    
23. When I was there they wrote the daily schedule on the fishbowl whiteboard every night for the next day, it's a nice way to be in the know. They also put the shit list up there.

Hey guys, my current PC is: i7-4770K 2x8GB RAM GTX 1650 Super Im planning on buying new processor which means buying new RAM and motherboard. The thing I struggle most about is deciding which CPU to get.
The PSU I currently have has juice of 600 watts.
My budget for CPU is max 200 euros. Options I consider are: 1. Ryzen 7 5700X(200 euros) 2. Ryzen 5 5600X(155 euros) 3. i5-12400F (160 euros)
When it comes to gaming, only games that really matter to me in terms of perfomance are CS2(counter strike 2) and PUBG. Beside that I'm programming and use a lot Visual Studio, JetBrains IDEs, Postgres, Postman.... In gaming, I need atleast minimum 75fps since im playing on 75hz monitor. I already have it on CS2 mostly(depends on map, amount of smokes, people...) but reason I'm upgrading is PUBG where I'm constantly getting stutters.
When it comes to RAM I'll probably go for 16GB(2x8) or 32GB(2x16) by Kingston Fury. Size depends on how pricey CPU will get.

this is a weird one. title is a bit bait-y on purpose, and I do apologise for that, but it sort of gets the point across with the none of the nuance.
sooo, allow me to add that nuance! and I’m so sorry for how long it’s going to be. I’m autistic and naturally really annoyingly verbose, and I get caught up trying to add context where it’s not needed. but I’m also stressed about this and it makes me ramblier than usual!
I’m trans. specifically a trans man, though these days I’m so comfy in myself that I don’t really care how other people perceive or gender me. I’ve had top surgery, been on T for nearly 5 years, etc etc. got all the “trans credentials”.
I’m also bi. or pan or just queer, whatever. I’ve dated everyone. cis women, trans women, various flavours of enbies, trans men - and cis men, which is the topic of discussion here.
I will preface this by saying that I have no horse in the “is genital preference transphobic” race. I have 0 preference, I don’t care if other people do, but rest assured it isn’t relevant to my issue here.
but I’m sort of stumped, right, because… what IS my issue? I don’t actually understand what’s going on here.
over the past 10 or so years I’ve been out as not-cis, I’ve dated a lot of “cis men”. a striking number of them have come out as transfemme, either during our relationship, or soon after it. it’s become more noticeable recently because the past two occasions that I had serious feelings for partners who I believed were cis men, both of them came out to me while we were together. and now I’m experiencing some serious feelings for someone I’ve started seeing, and I’m noticing some familiar signs.
I’m an absolute magnet for a very specific niche of person, apparently, and I seem to be key in their realisation of - or their acceptance of - their trans identity. that’s super flattering, of course. and confusing, and often quite hilarious, but it’s also… a bit difficult for me. it brings up some strange feelings. I can think of ten people off the top of my head that I’ve had this happen with, though only a few have impacted me, as I was still with the person at the time of their realisation/admission.
I should be happy when these partners come out to me. not only are we welcoming another number to our secret lil club, but I’m also gaining something new to bond with them over, something to have in common. and I’m sure everyone here knows that being trusted with someone’s first coming-out is the biggest honour in the world. and I do feel and believe all of that, of course, and yet every time this happens there’s this voice in my head that’s like…
“I don’t want you to be trans. I like you as you are, and I thought that was as a man.”
I know how horrible that is. and I think it’s even more horrible that this time I feel like I can see it coming and I’m experiencing a weird kind of dread and a sense of impending loss. I’m ashamed that I’m capable of thinking like this, but I don’t know what to do about it.
why does this pattern keep repeating, and why does it invoke this weird reaction from me?
of course, it could just be straight-up transmisogyny. I’m certainly not operating under the false premise that I, in being trans, have somehow become immune to socially ingrained ideas around trans women and femmes. it could absolutely just be this simple. but I suppose I don’t really understand if it is, because these feelings seem to be specific to this one scenario. it doesn’t seem to be that I’m just not attracted to trans women specifically — I’ve dated and definitely been attracted to trans women in the past. (“passability” and other bullshit like that has nothing to do with it either, people are hot to me regardless of what their transition looks like, so someone being very early in their transition wouldn’t somehow be this huge turn-off.)
this leads me to assume that maybe I simply want to be dating a man, at that given moment, and don’t like that she is not in fact a man, and that things are going to change. and I don’t know why that is, or what sense that really makes, for a bi person. and maybe my brain has a hard time recontextualising someone when their identity shifts? and it becomes extra hard when they’re really close with me in an intimate sense? because I don’t recall having this issue with platonic relationships. I’ve never “wished” for a newly out friend to not be trans. I don’t know!!
then we get onto another topic, which might be the smoking gun, or it might just be a side issue. regardless, one thing I’ve definitely noticed is that there are often subtle shifts in dynamic in my relationships with these partners when they begin exploring their gender. firstly, although I’m sure it’s not an entirely conscious thing, I’ve found that things are suddenly more gendered than they used to be. in a relationship that was initially ostensibly between two men, but which never really had any kind of gender roles or gendered dynamics involved, there is this subtle shift — wherein as she begins to lean much more “feminine” in all areas, I am expected to begin play-acting as more “masculine” than I am. I’m “the boy in the relationship” now. it’s never been said in these words, but in things that are asked of me within our relationship. and I understand her desire to do things differently in an effort to find what’s authentic to her new presentation and experience - but I suppose the problem for me is that I have always been authentic in our dynamic. I don’t want to alter the way I perform my gender in this relationship, I was comfortable with the way it was established. sure, I am a boy, but I have no interest in being boxed into gendered expectations that were not present before her transition. I wouldn’t want to be like that with a cis woman, or anyone else. I don’t like gender roles. but if someone I’m dating tells me that these changes would make them happier and more comfortable, why the fuck would I have an issue with that? it feels gross and selfish.
but then it gets even grosser and more selfish, because I think there might be an element of resentment present in the emotional labour that’s required to be the knowledgeable trans partner of a newly-out (or even closeted) trans person. I’ve felt myself become a guide and a therapist (or like a “transition mentor” lol) for my partner in the past, and I’ve really not liked that. especially in the last instance of this happening, wherein the relationship came to an abrupt and nasty end thanks to this new and confusing therapy-type dynamic.
I love being trusted with such important stuff and I love talking about gender, but there’s something I find very difficult about being this kind of support for a romantic partner.
so after all of this soul-searching, I’m still sort of just… stuck? what do I do with any of this? what do I change? why does this keep happening and how do I handle it better when it does? I don’t know. I’d really appreciate some discussion from fellow trans folks, or partners of trans folks. has anyone experienced anything similar? do you have any advice or suggestions for me? please be kind, I’m really trying to figure this out.

TLDR: I’m a trans man who has weird complicated feelings about being a magnet for closeted transfemmes. I don’t know how to navigate this and I don’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings!

My (25) girlfriend (22) is a college student finishing up at her university. She has this ex who was among her 3 other roommates, and they’ve known each other for 4 years. They dated for one year, and then after breaking up continued their friendship. We have been talking for 7 months and officially dating for 2. I came into the relationship knowing she was friends with her ex, but realized it was not something i can be comfortable with. Since they live together, they hung out almost every day, they go to coffee shops together, they go out to eat, they go on walks, long drives, and used to lay in bed together smoking and watching movies until I brought up how that’s not okay and it hasn’t happened again. There’s been multiple occasions where I would be talking to her about something between us and she just turned around and brings it up to him for his input. It genuinely hurts me and every time I bring it up to her she brushes it off and says she gets it. Almost every single time her and I are together they are texting, and she has even asked me not to bring stuff up and his stuff around him because she doesn’t want him to be upset. I have brought him up countless times to her and told her how much it bothers me, and she only gives me reassurance that she’s not into him anymore and claims that he’s not into her because “he said so”. Mind you, he gets bothered when he hears about her and I being intimate and gets upset when she’s with me and doesn’t answer him. He was moving out soon, so I told myself I can suck it up until he leaves and it’ll bring me relief. He moves 4h away, and still every time we’re together they’re still texting. Two weeks ago he moved out, and now he’s back in town for the week and the morning of the first day possible they’re hanging out and “running errands” after she brings him food. I brought up something about it making me uncomfortable, and she snaps at me telling me that it’s starting to piss her off how often I bring him up. All of my friends are telling me I need to respect myself and set a boundary that she shouldn’t still have that emotional connection with him and are saying that it sounds like an emotional affair. I brought it up to her and told her that she needs to either cut him off and move on, or break up with me. She tells me that I’m being toxic, I’m not seeing it from her perspective, I’m inconsiderate, I’m being unfair to her and him, and her family is saying that I’m manipulative and will only be more toxic in the future, and that I’m not meeting her halfway. She goes on to bring up how my ex’s have cheated on me, were on tinder, would ghost me for weeks, and that she’s been nothing but kind. She says she removed him everywhere, and continues to bring up how hurt he is and how I’m in the wrong, and how I’m all the above. We haven’t really had any other issues except for her ex. With my history of emotional trauma I told her that I absolutely cannot be in a relationship where my s/o is still connected with their ex. And even though she no longer talks to him, things have still been very tense between us and she has not stopped bringing me into how I’m being unfair and toxic. What do I do? Was I in the wrong? My friends are telling me that if it’s not something she’s willing to do that I shouldn’t settle for that. I don’t want to lose her, but if I just sit by and let things be the way they are it’s only going to fester and continue eating away at me more and more.
TLDR: I asked my gf to cut off her emotional support ex, her family says I’m being toxic and manipulative.

While walking through the cemetery I came across a gravestone marked "G.M. Robbins - The "End of the Trail" for "Yellowstone Pete" after 25,000 miles by mule train, may he rest in peace" and it got me interested in finding out more about the person. It turns out that Yellowstone Pete holds a place in Americana culture, and really did travel by mule train. There are several pictures linked here that have him, his wife, and mules. I'd love to hear more about him if anyone has more details.

COINTELPRO Techniques for dilution, misdirection and control of a internet forum..
There are several techniques for the control and manipulation of a internet forum no matter what, or who is on it. We will go over each technique and demonstrate that only a minimal number of operatives can be used to eventually and effectively gain a control of a 'uncontrolled forum.'
Technique #1 - 'FORUM SLIDING'
If a very sensitive posting of a critical nature has been posted on a forum - it can be quickly removed from public view by 'forum sliding.' In this technique a number of unrelated posts are quietly prepositioned on the forum and allowed to 'age.' Each of these misdirectional forum postings can then be called upon at will to trigger a 'forum slide.' The second requirement is that several fake accounts exist, which can be called upon, to ensure that this technique is not exposed to the public. To trigger a 'forum slide' and 'flush' the critical post out of public view it is simply a matter of logging into each account both real and fake and then 'replying' to prepositioned postings with a simple 1 or 2 line comment. This brings the unrelated postings to the top of the forum list, and the critical posting 'slides' down the front page, and quickly out of public view. Although it is difficult or impossible to censor the posting it is now lost in a sea of unrelated and unuseful postings. By this means it becomes effective to keep the readers of the forum reading unrelated and non-issue items.
Technique #2 - 'CONSENSUS CRACKING'
A second highly effective technique (which you can see in operation all the time at www.abovetopsecret.com
) is 'consensus cracking.' To develop a consensus crack, the following technique is used. Under the guise of a fake account a posting is made which looks legitimate and is towards the truth is made - but the critical point is that it has a VERY WEAK PREMISE without substantive proof to back the posting. Once this is done then under alternative fake accounts a very strong position in your favor is slowly introduced over the life of the posting. It is IMPERATIVE that both sides are initially presented, so the uninformed reader cannot determine which side is the truth. As postings and replies are made the stronger 'evidence' or disinformation in your favor is slowly 'seeded in.' Thus the uninformed reader will most like develop the same position as you, and if their position is against you their opposition to your posting will be most likely dropped. However in some cases where the forum members are highly educated and can counter your disinformation with real facts and linked postings, you can then 'abort' the consensus cracking by initiating a 'forum slide.'
Technique #3 - 'TOPIC DILUTION'
Topic dilution is not only effective in forum sliding it is also very useful in keeping the forum readers on unrelated and non-productive issues. This is a critical and useful technique to cause a 'RESOURCE BURN.' By implementing continual and non-related postings that distract and disrupt (trolling ) the forum readers they are more effectively stopped from anything of any real productivity. If the intensity of gradual dilution is intense enough, the readers will effectively stop researching and simply slip into a 'gossip mode.' In this state they can be more easily misdirected away from facts towards uninformed conjecture and opinion. The less informed they are the more effective and easy it becomes to control the entire group in the direction that you would desire the group to go in. It must be stressed that a proper assessment of the psychological capabilities and levels of education is first determined of the group to determine at what level to 'drive in the wedge.' By being too far off topic too quickly it may trigger censorship by a forum moderator.
Technique #4 - 'INFORMATION COLLECTION'
Information collection is also a very effective method to determine the psychological level of the forum members, and to gather intelligence that can be used against them. In this technique in a light and positive environment a 'show you mine so me yours' posting is initiated. From the number of replies and the answers that are provided much statistical information can be gathered. An example is to post your 'favorite weapon' and then encourage other members of the forum to showcase what they have. In this matter it can be determined by reverse proration what percentage of the forum community owns a firearm, and or a illegal weapon. This same method can be used by posing as one of the form members and posting your favorite 'technique of operation.' From the replies various methods that the group utilizes can be studied and effective methods developed to stop them from their activities.
Technique #5 - 'ANGER TROLLING'
Statistically, there is always a percentage of the forum posters who are more inclined to violence. In order to determine who these individuals are, it is a requirement to present a image to the forum to deliberately incite a strong psychological reaction. From this the most violent in the group can be effectively singled out for reverse IP location and possibly local enforcement tracking. To accomplish this only requires posting a link to a video depicting a local police officer massively abusing his power against a very innocent individual. Statistically of the million or so police officers in America there is always one or two being caught abusing there powers and the taping of the activity can be then used for intelligence gathering purposes - without the requirement to 'stage' a fake abuse video. This method is extremely effective, and the more so the more abusive the video can be made to look. Sometimes it is useful to 'lead' the forum by replying to your own posting with your own statement of violent intent, and that you 'do not care what the authorities think!!' inflammation. By doing this and showing no fear it may be more effective in getting the more silent and self-disciplined violent intent members of the forum to slip and post their real intentions. This can be used later in a court of law during prosecution.
Technique #6 - 'GAINING FULL CONTROL'
It is important to also be harvesting and continually maneuvering for a forum moderator position. Once this position is obtained, the forum can then be effectively and quietly controlled by deleting unfavourable postings - and one can eventually steer the forum into complete failure and lack of interest by the general public. This is the 'ultimate victory' as the forum is no longer participated with by the general public and no longer useful in maintaining their freedoms. Depending on the level of control you can obtain, you can deliberately steer a forum into defeat by censoring postings, deleting memberships, flooding, and or accidentally taking the forum offline. By this method the forum can be quickly killed. However it is not always in the interest to kill a forum as it can be converted into a 'honey pot' gathering center to collect and misdirect newcomers and from this point be completely used for your control for your agenda purposes.
CONCLUSION
Remember these techniques are only effective if the forum participants DO NOT KNOW ABOUT THEM. Once they are aware of these techniques the operation can completely fail, and the forum can become uncontrolled. At this point other avenues must be considered such as initiating a false legal precidence to simply have the forum shut down and taken offline. This is not desirable as it then leaves the enforcement agencies unable to track the percentage of those in the population who always resist attempts for control against them. Many other techniques can be utilized and developed by the individual and as you develop further techniques of infiltration and control it is imperative to share then with HQ.

Twenty-Five Rules of Disinformation
Note: The first rule and last five (or six, depending on situation) rules are generally not directly within the ability of the traditional disinfo artist to apply. These rules are generally used more directly by those at the leadership, key players, or planning level of the criminal conspiracy or conspiracy to cover up.
1. Hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil. Regardless of what you know, don't discuss it -- especially if you are a public figure, news anchor, etc. If it's not reported, it didn't happen, and you never have to deal with the issues.
2. Become incredulous and indignant. Avoid discussing key issues and instead focus on side issues which can be used show the topic as being critical of some otherwise sacrosanct group or theme. This is also known as the 'How dare you!' gambit.
3. Create rumor mongers. Avoid discussing issues by describing all charges, regardless of venue or evidence, as mere rumors and wild accusations. Other derogatory terms mutually exclusive of truth may work as well. This method which works especially well with a silent press, because the only way the public can learn of the facts are through such 'arguable rumors'. If you can associate the material with the Internet, use this fact to certify it a 'wild rumor' from a 'bunch of kids on the Internet' which can have no basis in fact.
4. Use a straw man. Find or create a seeming element of your opponent's argument which you can easily knock down to make yourself look good and the opponent to look bad. Either make up an issue you may safely imply exists based on your interpretation of the opponent/opponent arguments/situation, or select the weakest aspect of the weakest charges. Amplify their significance and destroy them in a way which appears to debunk all the charges, real and fabricated alike, while actually avoiding discussion of the real issues.
5. Sidetrack opponents with name calling and ridicule. This is also known as the primary 'attack the messenger' ploy, though other methods qualify as variants of that approach. Associate opponents with unpopular titles such as 'kooks', 'right-wing', 'liberal', 'left-wing', 'terrorists', 'conspiracy buffs', 'radicals', 'militia', 'racists', 'religious fanatics', 'sexual deviates', and so forth. This makes others shrink from support out of fear of gaining the same label, and you avoid dealing with issues.
6. Hit and Run. In any public forum, make a brief attack of your opponent or the opponent position and then scamper off before an answer can be fielded, or simply ignore any answer. This works extremely well in Internet and letters-to-the-editor environments where a steady stream of new identities can be called upon without having to explain criticism, reasoning -- simply make an accusation or other attack, never discussing issues, and never answering any subsequent response, for that would dignify the opponent's viewpoint.
7. Question motives. Twist or amplify any fact which could be taken to imply that the opponent operates out of a hidden personal agenda or other bias. This avoids discussing issues and forces the accuser on the defensive.
8. Invoke authority. Claim for yourself or associate yourself with authority and present your argument with enough 'jargon' and 'minutia' to illustrate you are 'one who knows', and simply say it isn't so without discussing issues or demonstrating concretely why or citing sources.
9. Play Dumb. No matter what evidence or logical argument is offered, avoid discussing issues except with denials they have any credibility, make any sense, provide any proof, contain or make a point, have logic, or support a conclusion. Mix well for maximum effect.
10. Associate opponent charges with old news. A derivative of the straw man -- usually, in any large-scale matter of high visibility, someone will make charges early on which can be or were already easily dealt with - a kind of investment for the future should the matter not be so easily contained.) Where it can be foreseen, have your own side raise a straw man issue and have it dealt with early on as part of the initial contingency plans. Subsequent charges, regardless of validity or new ground uncovered, can usually then be associated with the original charge and dismissed as simply being a rehash without need to address current issues -- so much the better where the opponent is or was involved with the original source.
11. Establish and rely upon fall-back positions. Using a minor matter or element of the facts, take the 'high road' and 'confess' with candor that some innocent mistake, in hindsight, was made -- but that opponents have seized on the opportunity to blow it all out of proportion and imply greater criminalities which, 'just isn't so.' Others can reinforce this on your behalf, later, and even publicly 'call for an end to the nonsense' because you have already 'done the right thing.' Done properly, this can garner sympathy and respect for 'coming clean' and 'owning up' to your mistakes without addressing more serious issues.
12. Enigmas have no solution. Drawing upon the overall umbrella of events surrounding the crime and the multitude of players and events, paint the entire affair as too complex to solve. This causes those otherwise following the matter to begin to lose interest more quickly without having to address the actual issues.
13. Alice in Wonderland Logic. Avoid discussion of the issues by reasoning backwards or with an apparent deductive logic which forbears any actual material fact.
14. Demand complete solutions. Avoid the issues by requiring opponents to solve the crime at hand completely, a ploy which works best with issues qualifying for rule 10.
15. Fit the facts to alternate conclusions. This requires creative thinking unless the crime was planned with contingency conclusions in place.
16. Vanish evidence and witnesses. If it does not exist, it is not fact, and you won't have to address the issue.
17. Change the subject. Usually in connection with one of the other ploys listed here, find a way to side-track the discussion with abrasive or controversial comments in hopes of turning attention to a new, more manageable topic. This works especially well with companions who can 'argue' with you over the new topic and polarize the discussion arena in order to avoid discussing more key issues.
18. Emotionalize, Antagonize, and Goad Opponents. If you can't do anything else, chide and taunt your opponents and draw them into emotional responses which will tend to make them look foolish and overly motivated, and generally render their material somewhat less coherent. Not only will you avoid discussing the issues in the first instance, but even if their emotional response addresses the issue, you can further avoid the issues by then focusing on how 'sensitive they are to criticism.'
19. Ignore proof presented, demand impossible proofs. This is perhaps a variant of the 'play dumb' rule. Regardless of what material may be presented by an opponent in public forums, claim the material irrelevant and demand proof that is impossible for the opponent to come by (it may exist, but not be at his disposal, or it may be something which is known to be safely destroyed or withheld, such as a murder weapon.) In order to completely avoid discussing issues, it may be required that you to categorically deny and be critical of media or books as valid sources, deny that witnesses are acceptable, or even deny that statements made by government or other authorities have any meaning or relevance.
20. False evidence. Whenever possible, introduce new facts or clues designed and manufactured to conflict with opponent presentations -- as useful tools to neutralize sensitive issues or impede resolution. This works best when the crime was designed with contingencies for the purpose, and the facts cannot be easily separated from the fabrications.
21. Call a Grand Jury, Special Prosecutor, or other empowered investigative body. Subvert the (process) to your benefit and effectively neutralize all sensitive issues without open discussion. Once convened, the evidence and testimony are required to be secret when properly handled. For instance, if you own the prosecuting attorney, it can insure a Grand Jury hears no useful evidence and that the evidence is sealed and unavailable to subsequent investigators. Once a favorable verdict is achieved, the matter can be considered officially closed. Usually, this technique is applied to find the guilty innocent, but it can also be used to obtain charges when seeking to frame a victim.
22. Manufacture a new truth. Create your own expert(s), group(s), author(s), leader(s) or influence existing ones willing to forge new ground via scientific, investigative, or social research or testimony which concludes favorably. In this way, if you must actually address issues, you can do so authoritatively.
23. Create bigger distractions. If the above does not seem to be working to distract from sensitive issues, or to prevent unwanted media coverage of unstoppable events such as trials, create bigger news stories (or treat them as such) to distract the multitudes.
24. Silence critics. If the above methods do not prevail, consider removing opponents from circulation by some definitive solution so that the need to address issues is removed entirely. This can be by their death, arrest and detention, blackmail or destruction of their character by release of blackmail information, or merely by destroying them financially, emotionally, or severely damaging their health.
25. Vanish. If you are a key holder of secrets or otherwise overly illuminated and you think the heat is getting too hot, to avoid the issues, vacate the kitchen.

Eight Traits of the Disinformationalist
1) Avoidance. They never actually discuss issues head-on or provide constructive input, generally avoiding citation of references or credentials. Rather, they merely imply this, that, and the other. Virtually everything about their presentation implies their authority and expert knowledge in the matter without any further justification for credibility.
2) Selectivity. They tend to pick and choose opponents carefully, either applying the hit-and-run approach against mere commentators supportive of opponents, or focusing heavier attacks on key opponents who are known to directly address issues. Should a commentator become argumentative with any success, the focus will shift to include the commentator as well.
3) Coincidental. They tend to surface suddenly and somewhat coincidentally with a new controversial topic with no clear prior record of participation in general discussions in the particular public arena involved. They likewise tend to vanish once the topic is no longer of general concern. They were likely directed or elected to be there for a reason, and vanish with the reason.
4) Teamwork. They tend to operate in self-congratulatory and complementary packs or teams. Of course, this can happen naturally in any public forum, but there will likely be an ongoing pattern of frequent exchanges of this sort where professionals are involved. Sometimes one of the players will infiltrate the opponent camp to become a source for straw man or other tactics designed to dilute opponent presentation strength.
5) Anti-conspiratorial. They almost always have disdain for 'conspiracy theorists' and, usually, for those who in any way believe JFK was not killed by LHO. Ask yourself why, if they hold such disdain for conspiracy theorists, do they focus on defending a single topic discussed in a NG focusing on conspiracies? One might think they would either be trying to make fools of everyone on every topic, or simply ignore the group they hold in such disdain. Or, one might more rightly conclude they have an ulterior motive for their actions in going out of their way to focus as they do.
6) Artificial Emotions. An odd kind of 'artificial' emotionalism and an unusually thick skin -- an ability to persevere and persist even in the face of overwhelming criticism and unacceptance. This likely stems from intelligence community training that, no matter how condemning the evidence, deny everything, and never become emotionally involved or reactive. The net result for a disinfo artist is that emotions can seem artificial.
Most people, if responding in anger, for instance, will express their animosity throughout their rebuttal. But disinfo types usually have trouble maintaining the 'image' and are hot and cold with respect to pretended emotions and their usually more calm or unemotional communications style. It's just a job, and they often seem unable to 'act their role in character' as well in a communications medium as they might be able in a real face-to-face conversation/confrontation. You might have outright rage and indignation one moment, ho-hum the next, and more anger later -- an emotional yo-yo.
With respect to being thick-skinned, no amount of criticism will deter them from doing their job, and they will generally continue their old disinfo patterns without any adjustments to criticisms of how obvious it is that they play that game -- where a more rational individual who truly cares what others think might seek to improve their communications style, substance, and so forth, or simply give up.
7) Inconsistent. There is also a tendency to make mistakes which betray their true self/motives. This may stem from not really knowing their topic, or it may be somewhat 'freudian', so to speak, in that perhaps they really root for the side of truth deep within.
I have noted that often, they will simply cite contradictory information which neutralizes itself and the author. For instance, one such player claimed to be a Navy pilot, but blamed his poor communicating skills (spelling, grammar, incoherent style) on having only a grade-school education. I'm not aware of too many Navy pilots who don't have a college degree. Another claimed no knowledge of a particular topic/situation but later claimed first-hand knowledge of it.
8) Time Constant. Recently discovered, with respect to News Groups, is the response time factor. There are three ways this can be seen to work, especially when the government or other empowered player is involved in a cover up operation:
a) ANY NG posting by a targeted proponent for truth can result in an IMMEDIATE response. The government and other empowered players can afford to pay people to sit there and watch for an opportunity to do some damage. SINCE DISINFO IN A NG ONLY WORKS IF THE READER SEES IT - FAST RESPONSE IS CALLED FOR, or the visitor may be swayed towards truth.
b) When dealing in more direct ways with a disinformationalist, such as email, DELAY IS CALLED FOR - there will usually be a minimum of a 48-72 hour delay. This allows a sit-down team discussion on response strategy for best effect, and even enough time to 'get permission' or instruction from a formal chain of command.
c) In the NG example 1) above, it will often ALSO be seen that bigger guns are drawn and fired after the same 48-72 hours delay - the team approach in play. This is especially true when the targeted truth seeker or their comments are considered more important with respect to potential to reveal truth. Thus, a serious truth sayer will be attacked twice for the same sin.

How to Spot a Spy (Cointelpro Agent)
One way to neutralize a potential activist is to get them to be in a group that does all the wrong things. Why?
1) The message doesn't get out.
2) A lot of time is wasted
3) The activist is frustrated and discouraged
4) Nothing good is accomplished.
FBI and Police Informers and Infiltrators will infest any group and they have phoney activist organizations established.
Their purpose is to prevent any real movement for justice or eco-peace from developing in this country.
Agents come in small, medium or large. They can be of any ethnic background. They can be male or female.
The actual size of the group or movement being infiltrated is irrelevant. It is the potential the movement has for becoming large which brings on the spies and saboteurs.
This booklet lists tactics agents use to slow things down, foul things up, destroy the movement and keep tabs on activists.
It is the agent's job to keep the activist from quitting such a group, thus keeping him/her under control.
In some situations, to get control, the agent will tell the activist:

• "You're dividing the movement."

This invites guilty feelings. Many people can be controlled by guilt. The agents begin relationships with activists behind a well-developed mask of "dedication to the cause." Because of their often declared dedication, (and actions designed to prove this), when they criticize the activist, he or she - being truly dedicated to the movement - becomes convinced that somehow, any issues are THEIR fault. This is because a truly dedicated person tends to believe that everyone has a conscience and that nobody would dissimulate and lie like that "on purpose." It's amazing how far agents can go in manipulating an activist because the activist will constantly make excuses for the agent who regularly declares their dedication to the cause. Even if they do, occasionally, suspect the agent, they will pull the wool over their own eyes by rationalizing: "they did that unconsciously... they didn't really mean it... I can help them by being forgiving and accepting " and so on and so forth.
The agent will tell the activist:

• "You're a leader!"

This is designed to enhance the activist's self-esteem. His or her narcissistic admiration of his/her own activist/altruistic intentions increase as he or she identifies with and consciously admires the altruistic declarations of the agent which are deliberately set up to mirror those of the activist.
This is "malignant pseudo identification." It is the process by which the agent consciously imitates or simulates a certain behavior to foster the activist's identification with him/her, thus increasing the activist's vulnerability to exploitation. The agent will simulate the more subtle self-concepts of the activist.
Activists and those who have altruistic self-concepts are most vulnerable to malignant pseudo identification especially during work with the agent when the interaction includes matter relating to their competency, autonomy, or knowledge.
The goal of the agent is to increase the activist's general empathy for the agent through pseudo-identification with the activist's self-concepts.
The most common example of this is the agent who will compliment the activist for his competency or knowledge or value to the movement. On a more subtle level, the agent will simulate affects and mannerisms of the activist which promotes identification via mirroring and feelings of "twinship". It is not unheard of for activists, enamored by the perceived helpfulness and competence of a good agent, to find themselves considering ethical violations and perhaps, even illegal behavior, in the service of their agent/handler.
The activist's "felt quality of perfection" [self-concept] is enhanced, and a strong empathic bond is developed with the agent through his/her imitation and simulation of the victim's own narcissistic investments. [self-concepts] That is, if the activist knows, deep inside, their own dedication to the cause, they will project that onto the agent who is "mirroring" them.
The activist will be deluded into thinking that the agent shares this feeling of identification and bonding. In an activist/social movement setting, the adversarial roles that activists naturally play vis a vis the establishment/government, fosters ongoing processes of intrapsychic splitting so that "twinship alliances" between activist and agent may render whole sectors or reality testing unavailable to the activist. They literally "lose touch with reality."
Activists who deny their own narcissistic investments [do not have a good idea of their own self-concepts and that they ARE concepts] and consciously perceive themselves (accurately, as it were) to be "helpers" endowed with a special amount of altruism are exceedingly vulnerable to the affective (emotional) simulation of the accomplished agent.
Empathy is fostered in the activist through the expression of quite visible affects. The presentation of tearfulness, sadness, longing, fear, remorse, and guilt, may induce in the helper-oriented activist a strong sense of compassion, while unconsciously enhancing the activist's narcissistic investment in self as the embodiment of goodness.
The agent's expresssion of such simulated affects may be quite compelling to the observer and difficult to distinguish from deep emotion.
It can usually be identified by two events, however:
First, the activist who has analyzed his/her own narcissistic roots and is aware of his/her own potential for being "emotionally hooked," will be able to remain cool and unaffected by such emotional outpourings by the agent.
As a result of this unaffected, cool, attitude, the Second event will occur: The agent will recompensate much too quickly following such an affective expression leaving the activist with the impression that "the play has ended, the curtain has fallen," and the imposture, for the moment, has finished. The agent will then move quickly to another activist/victim.
The fact is, the movement doesn't need leaders, it needs MOVERS. "Follow the leader" is a waste of time.
A good agent will want to meet as often as possible. He or she will talk a lot and say little. One can expect an onslaught of long, unresolved discussions.
Some agents take on a pushy, arrogant, or defensive manner:
1) To disrupt the agenda
2) To side-track the discussion
3) To interrupt repeatedly
4) To feign ignorance
5) To make an unfounded accusation against a person.
Calling someone a racist, for example. This tactic is used to discredit a person in the eyes of all other group members.
Saboteurs
Some saboteurs pretend to be activists. She or he will ....
1) Write encyclopedic flyers (in the present day, websites)
2) Print flyers in English only.
3) Have demonstrations in places where no one cares.
4) Solicit funding from rich people instead of grass roots support
5) Display banners with too many words that are confusing.
6) Confuse issues.
7) Make the wrong demands.
8) Compromise the goal.
9) Have endless discussions that waste everyone's time. The agent may accompany the endless discussions with drinking, pot smoking or other amusement to slow down the activist's work.
Provocateurs
1) Want to establish "leaders" to set them up for a fall in order to stop the movement.
2) Suggest doing foolish, illegal things to get the activists in trouble.
3) Encourage militancy.
4) Want to taunt the authorities.
5) Attempt to make the activist compromise their values.
6) Attempt to instigate violence. Activism ought to always be non-violent.
7) Attempt to provoke revolt among people who are ill-prepared to deal with the reaction of the authorities to such violence.
Informants
1) Want everyone to sign up and sing in and sign everything.
2) Ask a lot of questions (gathering data).
3) Want to know what events the activist is planning to attend.
4) Attempt to make the activist defend him or herself to identify his or her beliefs, goals, and level of commitment.
Recruiting
Legitimate activists do not subject people to hours of persuasive dialog. Their actions, beliefs, and goals speak for themselves.
Groups that DO recruit are missionaries, military, and fake political parties or movements set up by agents.
Surveillance
ALWAYS assume that you are under surveillance.
At this point, if you are NOT under surveillance, you are not a very good activist!
Scare Tactics
They use them.
Such tactics include slander, defamation, threats, getting close to disaffected or minimally committed fellow activists to persuade them (via psychological tactics described above) to turn against the movement and give false testimony against their former compatriots. They will plant illegal substances on the activist and set up an arrest; they will plant false information and set up "exposure," they will send incriminating letters [emails] in the name of the activist; and more; they will do whatever society will allow.
This booklet in no way covers all the ways agents use to sabotage the lives of sincere an dedicated activists.
If an agent is "exposed," he or she will be transferred or replaced.
COINTELPRO is still in operation today under a different code name. It is no longer placed on paper where it can be discovered through the freedom of information act.
The FBI counterintelligence program's stated purpose: To expose, disrupt, misdirect, discredit, and otherwise neutralize individuals who the FBI categorize as opposed to the National Interests. "National Security" means the FBI's security from the people ever finding out the vicious things it does in violation of people's civil liberties.

Seventeen Techniques for Truth Suppression
Strong, credible allegations of high-level criminal activity can bring down a government. When the government lacks an effective, fact-based defense, other techniques must be employed. The success of these techniques depends heavily upon a cooperative, compliant press and a mere token opposition party.
1. Dummy up. If it's not reported, if it's not news, it didn't happen.
2. Wax indignant. This is also known as the "How dare you?" gambit.
3. Characterize the charges as "rumors" or, better yet, "wild rumors." If, in spite of the news blackout, the public is still able to learn about the suspicious facts, it can only be through "rumors." (If they tend to believe the "rumors" it must be because they are simply "paranoid" or "hysterical.")
4. Knock down straw men. Deal only with the weakest aspects of the weakest charges. Even better, create your own straw men. Make up wild rumors (or plant false stories) and give them lead play when you appear to debunk all the charges, real and fanciful alike.
5. Call the skeptics names like "conspiracy theorist," "nutcase," "ranter," "kook," "crackpot," and, of course, "rumor monger." Be sure, too, to use heavily loaded verbs and adjectives when characterizing their charges and defending the "more reasonable" government and its defenders. You must then carefully avoid fair and open debate with any of the people you have thus maligned. For insurance, set up your own "skeptics" to shoot down.
6. Impugn motives. Attempt to marginalize the critics by suggesting strongly that they are not really interested in the truth but are simply pursuing a partisan political agenda or are out to make money (compared to over-compensated adherents to the government line who, presumably, are not).
7. Invoke authority. Here the controlled press and the sham opposition can be very useful.
8. Dismiss the charges as "old news."
9. Come half-clean. This is also known as "confession and avoidance" or "taking the limited hangout route." This way, you create the impression of candor and honesty while you admit only to relatively harmless, less-than-criminal "mistakes." This stratagem often requires the embrace of a fall-back position quite different from the one originally taken. With effective damage control, the fall-back position need only be peddled by stooge skeptics to carefully limited markets.
10. Characterize the crimes as impossibly complex and the truth as ultimately unknowable.
11. Reason backward, using the deductive method with a vengeance. With thoroughly rigorous deduction, troublesome evidence is irrelevant. E.g. We have a completely free press. If evidence exists that the Vince Foster "suicide" note was forged, they would have reported it. They haven't reported it so there is no such evidence. Another variation on this theme involves the likelihood of a conspiracy leaker and a press who would report the leak.
12. Require the skeptics to solve the crime completely. E.g. If Foster was murdered, who did it and why?
13. Change the subject. This technique includes creating and/or publicizing distractions.
14. Lightly report incriminating facts, and then make nothing of them. This is sometimes referred to as "bump and run" reporting.
15. Baldly and brazenly lie. A favorite way of doing this is to attribute the "facts" furnished the public to a plausible-sounding, but anonymous, source.
16. Expanding further on numbers 4 and 5, have your own stooges "expose" scandals and champion popular causes. Their job is to pre-empt real opponents and to play 99-yard football. A variation is to pay rich people for the job who will pretend to spend their own money.
17. Flood the Internet with agents. This is the answer to the question, "What could possibly motivate a person to spend hour upon hour on Internet news groups defending the government and/or the press and harassing genuine critics?" Don t the authorities have defenders enough in all the newspapers, magazines, radio, and television? One would think refusing to print critical letters and screening out serious callers or dumping them from radio talk shows would be control enough, but, obviously, it is not.

Hey there,
So our AC unit is as old as our house (30 yrs). In the 8 we've lived here, I've gone through 2 capacitors. This past Friday (24 May), the unit stopped working. Wife told me the display in the thermostat was out and the batteries were toast. Stopped at a store and bought a new thermostat and installed it when I got home. Nothing. Went out to check the capacitor and when I took the panel off, I got a whiff of electrical fire smoke.
It was dark and the the visual inspection of the capacitor looked fine (I would test in the morning with a mutimeter) . However there is some sort of relay that I can see with two buttons. I noticed a wire with char marks going into said relay. Curiously I pushed a button and the unit turned on, but went off as soon as I released the button. I repeated this one more time and noticed sparking/sizzling at the charred wire connection. I immediately stopped, pulled that breaker thing out of the junction box and called our home warranty company. I'm sitting here waiting for the service person to show up and the wife is wanting a new unit. She doesn't feel safe with anything that's attached to the house and sparking. Our home warranty company's policy is to repair or replace. We've had the same policy for as long as we've lived here and have used it a handful of times with zero issues. I have read horror stories about warranty companies not wanting to stand by their repair or replace policy, or fighting the policy holder until either side caves.
How would you handle this? Judging by the details above, could the sparking components be replaced? If this was attached to your home what would you want the warranty company to do?

I’m a newbie for smoking and was wondering how much the quality of the meat affects moisture?
I smoked a brisket and when compared to others when trying to get the bark set it came out pretty dry. When I’ve seen others while the bark is setting there seems to be a good amount of moisture.
Is this because I’m using lower quality brisket to practice with so there’s less marbling/fat? Or is there something else I’m doing wrong?

I'm a 24(f) and one of my guy friend (26M) has very conservative opinions about Feminism. When we used to talk about this subject, we would have a healthy discussion, where he would agree with what im saying but these conversations never reached to any conclusion. And slowly we stopped talking about it. We would just hang out all the time along with other friends, smoke up, get high and thats it.
But now we have moved to a new city due to both of our jobs, and he also lives nearby. So i started hanging out with him again, usually on weekends to just smoke up and watch movies. But this time there is no friend group.
He is a good person in general, he cares about people around him and, we have so much fun when we are together. We talk about everything but feminism and his political beliefs. I feel comfortable around him, but im so afraid of even bringing this topic again because we might have disagreements. But at the same time, i feel like im betraying myself if I continue to hangout with him.
Need help on how to go about it, don't want to lose him as a friend as well.
