Wendys chili weight loss

No weight loss on 0.25 whatsoever

2024.05.21 12:27 Tryhardtryharder100 No weight loss on 0.25 whatsoever

I (F50) had four shots at 0.25, due to start on 0.5 on Thursday Food noise is much less, no side effects, get full quite quick And I am eating much much less But no weight loss apart from 4lb first week I know it’s titration time right now and 1.7 is there you start seeing results but I am just wondering You start seeing results on higher doses simply because you can’t eat anything But I’m already not eating much Genuinely - eating half of what I used to I don’t drink hardly anything apart from tea and coffee and I have seen people posting that they drink 3 litres plus
I’ve been on Cambridge diet (UK version of VLCD of 600 calories a day) and I know for a fact when I didn’t drink their recommended 2.5 l even low calorie intake wouldn’t move the scales
So I’m wondering if it’s the water ?
So frustrating as I keep seeing posts like this- I lost 12lb and I’m afraid it’s too fast/ feeling too guilty etc etc I mean really?? And no , I hate exercise in any shape or form and even walking I find extremely boring so that’s not sustainable for me and I have a desk job being self employed it means 12 hours a day at the desk So …. 😭 rant over

2024.05.21 12:23 EicartLaropmet Omad with type 2

I know that this is going to be a fairly detailed question but I'm hoping that some of you can give some advice.
I've (45F, height 5'1) been doing omad now for coming up on 2 weeks. (Previous weight loss was through calorie restriction). So far it's working reasonably well. I've lost 5.6lbs (sw 221 cw 200.2lbs gw 133) and my body fat percentage has dropped from 50.2% to 49.1%. So I know that it is body fat that I'm losing. I was diagnosed with type 2 fairly recently, (March 6th) and I'm currently on 1500mg metformin. (Also 4mg of perindopril for high bp if that matters, started within the last month.)
I've been reading that ideally I should be trying to transition to ketogenic but in the past I have always struggled to stick to a keto diet, (longest I've lasted is around 6 weeks.) Right now I'm trying to keep my carbs below 100g. Which I know is a mile away from keto. So my question is will I see any improvement in my diabetic symptoms if I concentrate on weight loss or am I still lying to myself that this will have any benefits?

I've been wanting to get a japanese tattoo saying "Gluttony" in honour of my weight loss journey. Just checking in here to get a good grip on how it should be written so I don't end up with "Miso Soup" or "Doughball" written on me.

2024.05.21 12:07 imissfreshdonuts Lost almost 2kgs (4.5lbs) in a day, how long will this rapid loss keep going ?

I (17 F) 5’3 started a calorie deficit and some light exercise at 82kgs (180llbs) just a day ago and this morning when I checked my weight I was at 80kgs even after I just had breakfast. I know that in the beginning people lose weight quick but I was wondering with this pattern till when will I see this rapid weight loss? It can help me assess my plan more. Insight through experience would really help.

2024.05.21 12:03 Final-Log-2303 8th dose experience (5mg)

Hello everyone,
This is my week 8 update!! Can’t believe it’s been 2 months!
This week i took my 3rd dose of 5mg in the bottom left of my belly. Side effects have been pretty low-key although I have been using the bathroom more than usual (that is the most polite way i could think of saying what i mean). Probably going to go back to my thigh next week as my appetite suppression was less noticeable this week.
This week’s weight loss has been slow at 0.9kg lost in total. Just want to mention that this is slow for me personally as i usually lose between 1.5-3kg a week but 0.9kg is still amazing and very healthy. This is especially since i have been eating a bit more this week too (it’s almost time to move out of our uni house and i have quite a bit of freezer food to get through to avoid waste).
On the plus side, ive officially lost 15kg (15.3kg to be exact) so i am 25% of the way to my target which is very exciting.
I’ve been to the gym 5 times and have been getting back into walking but mostly on the treadmill because the weather has not been on my side. I cant remember when but a few weeks back i mentioned needing to pluck up the courage to start pilates. Unfortunately my Pilates Mat is still chilling in its Amazon packaging in the corner of my room but I blame my academic commitments for that. I will give it a go at some point soon. I promise!
Currently at the point where i need to start thinking about whether i want to go to 7.5mg or not. Im leaning more towards staying on 5mg as it’s been quite kind to me but im going to wait until i take my 4th dose of 5mg so i can make a fully informed decision. This will be okay as i plan on taking the “5th dose” of 5mg also.
Weird side note: my body has started clicking a lot which i read can be caused by me eating less fats whilst on this weight loss journey?? Not sure how accurate that is but it low-key makes sense. Either way the clicking isn’t painful, it’s just annoying to hear.
That’s all from me!! Hope you’re all doing well :)
Stats as of 17 May 2024 5’7 21F, SW and HW: 120kg (265lbs), CW: 104.7kg (230.8lbs), GW: 60kg (132lbs)

2024.05.21 12:01 Original_Ranger_6818 Stomach fat loss advice needed

I've been seeing a functional medicine specialist for a while now and have recently been feeling loads better with my symptoms. I'm on a health plan that involves diet, exercise, lifestyle changes, supplements and medications so it's very comprehensive and totally tailored to my needs following loads of initial testing. Side note - I'd really recommend functional medicine if anyone has the access to it (I'm in the UK and it is expensive unfortunately).
I've been feeling a lot better with my energy recently and can see some early signs of weight loss round my face and hands, but my main concern is my tummy. With my higher energy, I've been able to do a lot more exercise - mainly weights, walking and dancing, and occasional yoga. I know this is a long process and I'm not looking for a quick fix by any means, but I want to know if there's anything I can do to particularly speed up the weight loss on my belly. I just wish I was more in proportion and less 'apple on a pair of chopsticks'. But I also know this is the hardest area for me to lose fat from so any advice is appreciated.
I was thinking specifically about those stomach weight loss bands that you wear all day - any value to those or are they just snake oil? If not this, is there anything else that can help to particularly target this area to get me more into 'normal' proportions?
Any advice is appreciated, thank you

2024.05.21 11:53 EuphoricCriticism421 MJ and exercise, advice

I've been approved for MJ and very excited to start. I've struggled with my weight for years, although I consistently go to the gym 4-5 times a week for the last 2 years. My fitness and strength is the best it has ever been but I always fail at nutrition.
I'm an unpaid carer to my husband and 2 boys both with special needs so I emotionally eat and it's true when they say you cannot out train a bad diet. I emotionally eat which always ends in binges. And I'm definitely a victim of diet culture (having previously been a Slimming World member for years).
I am however concerned whether the medication will effect my training as I go to the gym for my mental health too and if I skip it, for whatever reason, I definitely see an Incline in my mental health.
I already eat a lot of protein (I really want to keep my muscle during my fat loss journey) and drink a lot of fluids - I have purchased some electrolytes as suggested by a few people. However I wanted to ask how people find taking the medication and exercising? I do strength training 4 times a week and include HIIT 3 times a week as well as always hitting my 10k steps a day goal.
Fed up of people always thinking I'm a gym newbie just because I'm big and asking how I can be overweight when I train so much :( also I know a lot will be easier with a lower weight as I have started to notice more joint pain recently which I don't get when a healthy weight.
Any advice? Thank you so much in advance.

2024.05.21 11:51 Adrenaline--Rush 5 Surprising Ways to Stay Energetic While Losing Weight

5 Surprising Ways to Stay Energetic While Losing Weight
https://preview.redd.it/wysqmtho4r1d1.jpg?width=3008&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=cb0004275443c9cd399f5227ac4f16b38db744f3
As a fitness trainer, I’ve witnessed many individuals struggle to maintain their energy levels while embarking on their weight loss journey. It’s a common misconception that cutting calories and increasing exercise inevitably lead to fatigue and low energy. However, with the right approach, you can actually boost your energy levels while shedding those extra pounds. In this article, I’ll share five surprising ways to stay energetic while losing weight.

1. Prioritize Protein Intake:

One surprising way to stay energetic during weight loss is by prioritizing your protein intake. Protein is essential for muscle repair and growth, and it also plays a crucial role in regulating energy levels. Consuming protein-rich foods such as lean meats, fish, eggs, and legumes can help you feel fuller for longer periods, reducing the likelihood of energy dips throughout the day. Additionally, protein requires more energy to digest compared to carbohydrates or fats, further boosting your metabolism and energy expenditure.

2. Optimize Your Sleep:

Sleep is often overlooked in the weight loss journey, yet it’s one of the most crucial factors for maintaining energy levels. Quality sleep is essential for proper hormone regulation, including those that control appetite and energy metabolism. Aim for 7–9 hours of uninterrupted sleep each night to ensure your body has enough time to rest and recharge. Create a relaxing bedtime routine, limit screen time before bed, and ensure your sleep environment is conducive to restful sleep.

3. Stay Hydrated with Electrolytes:

Hydration is key for overall health and energy levels, but simply drinking water may not be enough, especially if you’re active. Electrolytes, such as sodium, potassium, and magnesium, play vital roles in regulating fluid balance and muscle function. When you sweat during exercise or physical activity, you lose electrolytes along with water. Replenishing these electrolytes is essential for maintaining energy levels and preventing dehydration. Consider adding electrolyte-rich foods and beverages like coconut water, sports drinks, or electrolyte tablets to your routine, especially during intense workouts.

4. Incorporate Mindful Movement:

While high-intensity workouts can be effective for weight loss, they may also drain your energy reserves if done excessively. Instead of focusing solely on intense exercise, incorporate mindful movement into your daily routine. Activities such as yoga, tai chi, or leisurely walks can help reduce stress levels, improve mood, and increase energy without exhausting your body. Plus, mindful movement promotes flexibility, balance, and overall well-being, making it a valuable addition to any weight loss regimen.

5. Harness the Power of Supplements:

Supplements can be a helpful tool for boosting energy and supporting weight loss efforts. One such scientifically proven supplement gaining attention is Java Burn. Java Burn is a unique blend of natural ingredients designed to enhance metabolism, increase energy levels, and promote fat loss. It contains ingredients like green tea extract, chromium, and green coffee bean extract, all of which have been shown to support weight loss and improve energy levels.
Java Burn is not a magic solution, but when combined with a balanced diet and regular exercise, it can provide an extra boost to your weight loss journey. Many individuals have reported increased energy levels, improved focus, and enhanced fat burning while using Java Burn as part of their routine.
In conclusion, staying energetic while losing weight doesn’t have to be a daunting task. By prioritizing protein intake, optimizing sleep, staying hydrated with electrolytes, incorporating mindful movement, and harnessing the power of supplements like Java Burn, you can fuel your body with the energy it needs to reach your weight loss goals. Remember to listen to your body, make gradual changes, and seek support from a qualified fitness professional if needed. With the right strategies and mindset, you can achieve lasting success in your weight loss journey while feeling energized and empowered every step of the way.

I see in the comments that it has worked for a lot of people, so I have been using it for about a week now, I play it on loop to sleep. I wake up feeling normal but as my day starts and the hours go by I feel strong heart palpitations and anxiety. Is this normal? Any advices or suggestions? Am I just purging out repressed emotions and if so is it still safe to continue? I do feel pretty worried about this. Please advice, thank you in advance.

2024.05.21 11:29 SomeGuyUK50 Week 7 Update

M49 / 6'0 / SW143.87kg(317.17 lbs) / CW 130.4 kg (287.5 lbs) / GW77kg(170 lbs) / Class II Obesity
Total weigh lost - 13.5kg (29.7 lbs)
Just finished my seventh week on MJ, third full week on 5mg. No major side effects this past week. The only issue that remains is for 48 hours after injection, I am in no mood to eat anything and it is a struggle to get the minimum number of calories each day. Weight loss for the week was 3.6 lbs or 1.24% of my body weight.
Food – Stuck to my normal foods for most meals. Porridge, fruit, chicken, huel, veggies. I did have venison steak twice this week as it was on sale. My wife and son wanted to go out to dinner on Saturday, spent Friday evening looking a various restaurants and their menu's. Settled on one that we all like and was thrown a curveball as soon as we arrived. Upon arrival, the waitstaff informed me that the one item that they did not have available on the menu was the one item that I was going to order. Thankfully, they had other options that fit my MJ diet and I settled for the lamb shoulder and a side salad. Pre-MJ, I would have had a starter and dessert. With MJ, I could not finish my main and made a joke to my wife and son that I need to start ordering from the children's menu.
Exercise - Four days of strength training this past week, one day of cardio and a lot of walking as well. Starting to see a difference on my chest, shoulders, upper back and legs. Moobs have disappeared as well. My first HIIT small group training session scheduled for this Wednesday.
Zero food or alcohol noise. Happy to walk into a pub and order water, even the occasional blood orange San Pellegrino.
Taking my fourth 5mg dose this morning. Will be continuing with 5mg for another month as the effects have been very positive and not slowing down.

2024.05.21 11:25 grilleddddtuna Is drinking salad smoothie + a scoop of protine powder+ a tablespoon of olive oil considered to be a good mix up of keto diet?

I know the title seems absurd, but please know that I've been doing Keto for years and I've already tried a lot of difference recipes, the main goal obiviously is try my best to eat clean so I don't lose too much muscle weight, I've already gone through a period of weight loss/weight gain and now I'm going to lose my weight again.
I enjoy cooking but it's also pretty boring have to deal with only a few ingredients every single day.
On top of that I also want to keep my protine intake high so 1~2 scoop of protine powder is kinda needed for me to lose weight without losing too many muscles. I will have to add protine powder on top of my regualr diet anyway, becuase I need 100~150g of protine everyday. Trying to intake this much protine purely from meat without spicing it up with a sauce or seasoning is pretty much a torture to me. I really would just rather drink 2 scoop of protine powder per meal instead.
For salad smoothie it's just typical leaf veg + root veg + water + maybe a few tomato.

2024.05.21 11:23 S_o_c_k_a Normal Test Results

Hi everyone,
I’ve been experiencing symptoms of hypothyroidism for a few years but I am aware a lot of them are very general and could be a number of things. The main ones are really bad fatigue and brain fog, tiredness, constipation, depression, slow movements & thoughts, loss of libido and the skin on my face has become more dry recently (has previously been very oily) and my hair has thinned a lot and become dry (it used to be SO thick that my hairdresser would get sore arms when I went in for a haircut). I have bleached my hair, but it began thinning before that and was brittle.
I also have gained weight and find it hard to lose, but I think the weight gain is from my own eating habits rather than a medical problem!
I have been tested but they told me the results came back fine (I didn’t get exact numbers or anything). I have also been tested for anemia before but that would usually come back normal except for once when my ferritin was slightly below normal levels. I don’t think my doctors test for Vitamin D as it’s an expensive test so they only do it in extreme cases.
Also, my Dad and both of his parents have hypothyroidism.
I’m just a bit stuck. Did anyone else suspect hypothyroidism but it ended up being something else?? I’m so fed up of this brain fog and fatigue I can’t work properly!

2024.05.21 11:20 Time-Negotiation4616 The best peptide for reducing belly fat

Peptides are short chain amino acids that regulate various physiological processes, including metabolism and fat metabolism. In this paper, the most effective abdominal fat burning peptide, its mechanism of action and the current research status in this field were discussed.

Candidate peptides for reducing belly fat:

  1. Melanotan II (MT-II):
MT-II was originally developed as a synthetic analogue of the melanocortin peptide hormone alpha-melanocyte stimulating hormone (alpha-MSH) and has received attention for its potential role in weight loss. It works by activating melanocortin receptors in the brain, which regulate appetite and energy expenditure. Studies have shown that MT-II may induce lipolysis, the breakdown of fat stores, thereby reducing abdominal fat accumulation.

  1. GHK-Cu (Copper peptide) :
GHK-Cu is a natural peptide found in human plasma that has demonstrated a variety of biological activities, including wound healing and anti-inflammatory effects. Recent studies have shown its potential in fat metabolism and redistribution. GHK-Cu can promote adipose tissue remodeling and promote the breakdown of stubborn abdominal fat deposits.

  1. Tesamoline:
Tesamorelin, a synthetic peptide analogue of growth hormone releasing hormone (GHRH), has been studied for its efficacy in reducing visceral obesity, including abdominal fat. It works by stimulating the release of endogenous growth hormone, which promotes lipolysis and reduces visceral fat mass. Clinical trials have shown promising results in individuals with HIV-associated abdominal fat accumulation.

  1. Iparerelin:
Iparerelin is a selective growth hormone secretagogue that stimulates the pituitary gland to produce and release growth hormone. Its potential to promote fat loss lies in its ability to increase growth hormone levels without significantly affecting cortisol or prolactin levels. While more research specifically looking at its effects on belly fat is needed, iparerelin holds promise as a peptide that improves body composition.

Mechanism of action:
These peptides work to reduce belly fat through a variety of mechanisms, including:

- Activation of melanocortin receptors to regulate appetite and energy expenditure (MT-II).
- Stimulates the release of growth hormone, promotes lipolysis and fat metabolism (Tesamorelin, Ipamorelin).
Adipose tissue remodeling and regulation of inflammation (GHK-Cu).

Research status:
While pre-clinical and clinical studies have provided insight into the potential efficacy of peptides in reducing belly fat, further research is needed to clarify their safety, efficacy, and long-term effects. Clinical trials with larger sample sizes and longer durations are needed to determine the optimal dosing regimen and potential side effects of these peptides. In addition, comparative studies evaluating the effectiveness of different peptides alone or in combination with lifestyle interventions are essential for full understanding and application in clinical Settings.

Conclusion:
Peptides offer a promising avenue for reducing belly fat, offering new treatment options for individuals struggling to achieve lean body mass. While research in this area is still evolving, peptides such as Melanotan II, GHK-Cu, Tesamorelin, and Ipamorelin have shown potential to regulate fat metabolism and promote abdominal fat loss through various mechanisms.

2024.05.21 11:10 thegirlwithglasses_ weight loss on wellbutrin

I had been struggling with my weight ever since i was on lexapro 2 years ago. i’m not on it anymore but i gained 50 lbs. it felt like it would never come off and i was only getting worse until wellbutrin. i have had a lot of bad side effects thus far but this is the one excellent effect it’s had on me. i’m no longer binge eating. i feel as though wellbutrin has made me more intentional with my eating. i’m regularly excercising now. i have been going through a major change in my life recently, and being able to control my eating habits has really been beneficial for me. Does that feeling of not wanting to constantly eat go away with time? i’m worried i will go back to old habits if it does.

2024.05.21 11:09 clumsyygoose how many steps a day for weight loss?

i take victoza daily on top of dieting and go on walks at night that land me at 10k steps a day more or less. i stay away from carbs/gluten/sugar as much as possible. my weight is plateaued now though, how many steps should i really be taking a day to lose that weight and push me out of the plateau? 10k does not feel like enough steps

2024.05.21 11:09 zeldaschewtoy i fucking hate my extended family

tw: mentions of weight
i've struggled with bulimia for the past decade and because of this i've been 120-140 pounds my entire life (for context i'm 5'3) since my weight would fluctuate a lot. some years i'd be 120, some 140. and sometimes both within the same year. every time i saw my extended family, i'd get a comment about my weight. every. fucking. time. and they were very fucking blunt too. my grandmother would just straight up say how fat i was, my aunts/uncles would look me up and down and say how "different" i looked, my cousins would make jokes if i was getting something to eat, etc. and it doesn't help that my two sisters have always been really skinny and stayed the same size. fast forward, i lost 25 pounds in the fall due to losing my appetite from stress (i'm a college student). i reached down to 95 pounds. it was actually really unhealthy because i ended up staying overnight at the hospital due to low blood sugar and dehydration. while i hadn't seen a lot of my extended family in years (covid, they're mostly in brazil or different states in the U.S.), they had seen me in pictures posted on facebook. and of fucking course they all made comments or texted my parents or even texted me congratulating me on my weight loss or showing concern. that shit pissed me off so fucking much i wanted to say the nastiest things to these people. the years of shame and ridicule hit me like a fucking truck. and now i'm terrified of seeing these people again. i've gained about 10 pounds since (which i feel good about), and am now at 105 pounds but my grandmother is coming to visit this weekend and i have so much anxiety. i don't know if she'll compliment me or point out that i'm 10 pounds heavier than november but either response makes me sick. i have woken up everyday from nightmares having to do with her and my weight and i can't fucking do this anymore. i feel like i'm going crazy. i just wanna get this over with already. i don't know how i allowed her to have this much power over me. i'm fucking pathetic.

2024.05.21 11:06 No-Inside6118 Henry vs Zappy Health

I’m curious to know about HenryMeds and Zappy Health. They both offer prescriptions for weight loss and other health issues. Can anyone tell me which one was better if you have tried them both? I want to make the right choice before I join one.
