(1530s) Benjamin, the illegitimate son of a King, lives a life of luxury without any of the consequences that come with royal blood. He indulges in fine clothing, gambling and is a frequent patron of brothels. At sixteen, he met a courtesan named Antonia, who was five years his senior. Unlike the other women he had encountered, Antonia was beautiful, kind, and captured his heart. While they both share a deep love for each other, they face their own challenges. Benjamin is still learning the ways of the court at the age of eighteen, while Antonia holds a great deal of influence over him due to her life experience. From encouraging him to invite her to tea to spite his royal parentage and even convincing him to petition for legitimation to take his sister's throne, she is ready to shake things up, disguising their power-hungry nature as love. What started as a quiet and humble relationship has now turned them into vicious antagonists towards themselves and others, but their love for each other remains strong. Even though the character's name is Antonia, feel free to create your own character with a courtesan theme. I even encourage it!!!

Will he fall in love with a noblewoman and violate his church oath? This woman has her own secrets and a father who is eager to marry her off to the wealthiest suitor available. The resulting whirlwind will leave blood on the floor and lipstick stains on collars, reminiscent of The Borgias, but without the incestuous undertones.
3. Of course, Your Majesty: I will be playing M! (1500s) Your protagonist is the eldest child of a powerful monarch, destined to become the next Queen. During her childhood, she formed a close bond with the son of a Lord who was a bit older than her. As they grew up, their feelings for each other became more than just friendship, prompting them to explore a romantic relationship. However, it is the heavily religious 1500s, and fearing that their relationship would compromise her purity and jeopardize her chances of marrying another royal, the Lord's son was sent away to a chateau. Despite the distance, they kept in touch through letters and other means. But, a dramatic shift in the court's dynamics has brought him back, much to the chagrin of your character's father. He is willing to disrupt the status quo for the sake of love and occasionally for his own gain.
4. The Lost Princess: I will be playing F! (1480s-1520s) Princess Margery was adored by her subjects and set to ascend the throne one day. However, her fate changed drastically when, at the tender age of four, her carriage was attacked by bandits. In a desperate bid to survive, Margery pretended to be dead in the frigid snow of the forest. She wasn't certain what happened next, but she eventually found herself in the care of two kind-hearted parents who renamed her Elizabeth and raised her as their own daughter. As Elizabeth came of age, she began searching for potential suitors. But what happens when a young man uncovers her true identity? How does she make her way back to the castle, and what challenges await her upon her return? Most importantly, where do you fit into this tangled web of intrigue and deception?

Your character, recently assigned to a coveted scientist position, stumbles upon a hidden lab deep within the vault, where ghastly experiments are conducted on unsuspecting fellow dwellers. Amidst it all, your character finds help in a resourceful maintenance worker with a knack for uncovering secrets. Humanity and Nature: An Analysis and Reflection on The Duality Scavenger’s Reign

**Hollow:** 

Scavenger’s Reign showcases how humans, when altering an ecosystem, can become dangerous parasites—an invasive species that disrupts the natural balance developed through millennia of evolution. Humans pose significant dangers to new ecosystems through various activities and behaviors that upset natural balances and lead to adverse environmental impacts. Even without technology and resources, humans can perpetuate disorder merely by existing. On the new alien planet, humans immediately cause dangerous changes, acting as an invasive species.
This relationship is vividly depicted in the interactions between Kamen and Hollow. In Scavenger’s Reign, all chaos and violence stem directly from human actions. The Hollow, for example, exists naturally as a small, fruit-eating creature, similar to a rabbit. Though it uses mind control to obtain food, it is not initially violent. Its manipulation is out of necessity. However, when Hollow forms a psychic connection with Kamen, who begins feeding it meat, the Hollow slowly becomes corrupted. Humanity's malicious nature contaminates the entire ecosystem, with Kamen’s greed, violence, and resentment adulterating the behavior of a previously docile animal.
Explaining exactly how Kamen corrupts the Hollow involves analyzing his cognizance during their interactions. Hollow and Kamen share a mindscape filled with scenes of failure, resentment, and self-hatred. In episode three, Kamen retrieves fruit for Hollow but fails miserably. A monkey takes the fruit he reaches for, and Kamen falls from a tree, saved again by the Hollow. Angrily, Kamen strikes the monkey with a rock, finally capturing the fruit. The pleased Hollow munches the fruit before Kamen drops the monkey’s corpse in front of it. Unsure what to do, the Hollow begins to consume the meat, which is outside its normal diet.
In episode four, Kamen hunts larger animals. He is seen violently bludgeoning a dinosaur-like creature before being attacked by an even larger one. Kamen, weak and fragile, retreats defeated. Back in their cave, Hollow’s den is revealed to be a hole of rotting carcasses—death, flies, and decaying meat. When Kamen returns empty-handed, he apologizes. Hollow shows him a memory of Fiona, highlighting Kamen’s disappointment, mirroring how he has just disappointed Hollow. This scene illustrates how Hollow manipulates and communicates with Kamen through emotional sentiments.
This relationship, however, is not one-way. Kamen’s negative human traits seep into the Hollow, creating a feedback loop of hatred and violence, particularly towards other humans whom Kamen feels have wronged him. When Kamen admits the creature was “too big for him,” Hollow shows a flashback of Kamen begging for a route change. Sam’s refusal and aggression fuel Kamen’s failure and resentment. Motivated by these memories, Kamen sharpens a spear and attacks the larger creature, paralleling his confrontation with Sam. Hollow finishes the dinosaur, showering Kamen in gore. Kamen, proud and laughing, screams: “Fuck you, Sam.”
This scene demonstrates the complete adulteration of Hollow, directly linking Kamen’s negative traits to Hollow’s transformation. Hollow shifts from a vegetarian, monkey-like creature to a violent force—a killing machine obsessed with feeding and power, driven by anger and hunger. This transformation is highlighted in the next episode's intro, where a new human escapes a cryopod and is hunted through Vespa’s jungle. Upon finding Kamen, the human is relieved but is immediately killed by Hollow, who snaps his neck. The Hollow’s nature has been entirely corrupted, motivated only by hunger and hatred.
We can then question the Hollow's potential. What if Hollow had encountered Ursula or Sam? Could Hollow form a connection with a higher sentience without becoming corrupted, or is this violent change inevitable? Is human intervention always a plague?
PARAGRAPH ABOUT KAMEN BEING ABSORBED: Azi has a flashback of seeing the girl who gabe her the notebook in a cryo chamber, asleep. Red alarms clash. Sam ushers people to flee the ship - this is amidst the solar flare. Sam recuses to let Kamen on an escape pod, throwing him yo the floor abd calling him a fucking idiot. Azi throws him a side eye too. The ship is crumbling. -> It transitions to Kamen on Vespa. Hollow is fucking HUGE and murders the new guy in front of Kamen, afraid the newbie would distract Kamen. Kamen questions his actions after the death, remembering the ship. The potentialiTy of Fiona being alive. -> flashback to Kamen running to a pod and closing it. Fiona approaches the window, asking to be let in. Kamen fails to let her in before the pod shoots offz -> flashout, Kamen remembers she is dead. He weeps, taking guilt. Asking why he ran away, confronting his character flaws. Refusing to acknowledge his failures, Kamen is absorbed into the Hollow, who grants him peace within its body.
Levi:
In “Scavenger’s Reign,” Levi’s journey takes a profound turn as she merges with the planet’s consciousness, evolving beyond mere sentience and becoming one with nature. After being obliterated and repaired, Levi returns, wielding the history of millennia, drawing a near parallel to Nausicaä. Both characters serve as mediators between humanity and nature. In the beginning of the show, scenes hint at a collective planetary consciousness that Levi taps into, witnessing bioluminescent insects that seem to communicate with her and the planet. As Levi merges with this consciousness, she transcends the human concept of sentience and individuality, gaining the knowledge and emotions of an intricate web of life and energy that sustains Planet Vespa. This new state allows Levi to exist in perfect harmony with the natural world, becoming an integral part of the unified whole.
In episode one, we are introduced to Levi as an inherently curious creature. Levi and Azi have a flourishing garden. Levi mentions “malfunctions” that caused her to bury Azi’s wrench out of “curiosity.” Her hatch opens to reveal a sort of fungus she says is “helping her.” Azi is afraid of her behavior and demands to run a diagnostic. The dynamic between Levi and Azi is that of boss and underling, with Levi treated somewhat coldly. Levi states Azi is “acting meaner.” This fungus is later understood as a medium for the collective planetary consciousness, with Levi merging slowly.
In episode two, Levi constantly marvels at the environment, feeling a deep connection to nature. During a storm, Levi shows Azi into a large structure. Azi asks how she knows it’s safe, and inside, they find an Eden-like safe haven, which is beautiful. Azi says Levi must have known this area, and Levi admits she has been exploring at night out of curiosity and wonder. Azi finds a sculpture made by Levi and asks why she made it. “I just thought it looked nice,” Levi replies. Azi remarks that no other Levi has ever behaved like this and demands to open her maintenance hatch. These projects are botany-based. Azi goes to eat fruit Levi grew, but Levi warns, “I’m sorry this isn’t safe for humans to eat.” “Then why did you grow it?” Azi asks. “Maybe it wasn’t for you,” Levi responds, highlighting Azi’s expectation that all Levi's exist solely for their creators' benefit.
In later episodes, we see the fungus inside Levi expanding and its connection to Levi’s relationship with Planet Vespa. In episode four, Levi watches a pile of ants closely, picking one up and communicating with it using bioluminescent lights. She gives it food and sets it on its way, showing how Levi is tuning into the planet on both micro and macro scales. This annoys Azi, as observing insects is not beneficial to her. A flashback shows Levi being “fixed” when she doesn’t work, illustrating how Azi treats her like a tool. The two embark on a bike ride, and Levi is seen communicating with a large swarm of insects. They approach a river, and Azi pulls a large grub off Levi, commenting that they are “more active than usual.” Levi remarks she can feel tremors, which are soon revealed to be caused by a large herd of creatures stampeding. The two are caught in the stampede, and Levi catches onto a language of sorts by the creatures, dictating their movement pattern, and begins to instruct Azi on “following the sway of the herd.” After getting used to the movements, Azi revels in the majestic experience Levi has been attuned to, being at one with the herd and the planet. The stampede leads to a large nest and then an open plain.
In her quest for cognizance, Levi begins to dream. Episode five opens with Levi wandering through a golden forest, observing various gentle forms of life before being instructed to follow Azi. Levi notices a white lotus, and the two wander the woods. Tendrils of plants grasp at Levi, seemingly wanting her to stay in the forest. Levi looks down and sees hands of flesh. Azi says she’s been acting “so strange” in an ominous tone. Levi awakens, and Azi demands her help. Levi sees her regular robotic hands and realizes she is evolving. Levi is cleaning Azi’s hair with a knife, and Azi offers to return the favor, telling Levi to open her hatch. Levi seems apprehensive, aware the mold is helping her evolve and that Azi is not a fan. Azi opens Levi’s hatch and notices she flinches as the mold is touched. The mold has opened Levi’s mind, allowing her to feel physical sensations and consciously view the world. Levi is developing sentience beyond apathetically taking orders. A scared Levi says she doesn’t like how scraping the mold feels, and Azi pets her, both remarking that it feels good. They argue over whether Levi “should feel anything,” with Azi viewing this as a problem since she needs to trust Levi to survive. Levi is shut off. While Levi is shut off, Azi is hit with fluffy balls that stick to her. She’s overwhelmed and barely able to move when she sees a horde of plant matter-covered creatures approaching. Azi crawls to Levi and turns her on. As the creature approaches, Levi regains consciousness and destroys it. Levi apologizes for not helping due to being turned off, and Azi admits Levi saved her. Levi states she doesn't want to be shut off, ever, expressing her fear of death.
Our duo are traveling across beautiful plains on their bike. Azi is covered in festering wounds from the bulbs. Residual material is embedded in her skin. Azi dips a bloody shirt into a shallow pond, and fish-like creatures come to eat the dead flesh. She dips her hand in, and they clean her wounds. A large water basin looms in the background, which they approach. Azi ascends the stone structure, reminiscent of something out of a Ghibli film. Azi begins to appreciate the beauty of Vespa, with a light string instrumental crescendoing as she submerges herself in the cool water, trusting the creatures to heal her. On the ground, Levi communicates with a small bug. Azi is healed and questions Levi’s evolution, suggesting she should be “more delicate.” Levi ponders her ability to “join her for a swim.” The two marvel at the evolutionary strangeness, with Levi acknowledged as an equal.
Levi's fear of death soon becomes a reality. Levi and Azi are pushing the bike to obtain its cable to use to cross a giant gorge. Levi writes a song and expresses a wish to pursue her hobbies, such as singing, at a place on the Demeter. Levi and Azi discuss Fiona, the person who programmed Levi, with Levi feeling close to her. Azi compliments Levi’s singing and urges her to continue pursuing her ambitions. The two successfully tether the bike cable across the gorge, but Hollow is seen scouring the edge. As they grapple across, singing the melody from Fiona’s memory, Hollow recognizes the tune and becomes enraged. Hollow scales the cord towards them, and the cord breaks, slamming all three into the side of the cliff. Azi urges Levi to climb. Azi reaches the top first, followed by Levi, but Hollow catches Levi’s legs with telekinesis. “Help me…” Levi says, but a memory of Kamen and Fiona kissing causes Azi to charge Hollow with a spear. As she approaches, Levi is split in two, shattered into minuscule bolts and scraps of metal that rain down over the cliff edge. Azi screams after her, a tear rolling down her cheek. Her partner, a growing consciousness much like an innocent child discovering the sand of a beach and the glory of nature, is murdered.

To start this off, I never intended on hitting him(hard at least) and I had never intentionally done anything that would make him feel guilty about stopping.
About a month ago I(16nb) got dumped by my now ex bf(17m) due to what initially was said to be that he needed to work on his mental health and none of this was because of something i did, this was weird because ever since we had started dating we have been very open about our mental health with each other so i decided a few days after he ended it and i cooled off that I would ask if there was a different reason. ik it was a bad idea but i really needed closure because it felt so dishonest, i made assumptions and asked if it was because he had feelings for someone else as i had seen someone in his quick adds on snapchat that was “from his contacts” with a heart next to his name while we were dating that i swept under the rug. He was also posting thirst traps publicly and people were favoriting every one (his accounts have always been private) it was an unfair assumption and i still regret asking but i can’t really change the past. he said no and that he had just fallen out of love and i accepted that and felt that we were both in a good place. This quickly changed.
he soon sends me a text that made my heart drop, he said that it was because i hit him and you don’t hit people you love, he said he’d never forgive me. this confused me a lot, i had hit him one time 4 months prior to this moment. we had always play fought and he was ok with it, he ended up making a joke about my friend that i didn’t like and i meant to slap him lightly/in a lighthearted way but accidentally used too much strength. I admit i shouldn’t even joke like that but i ended up kissing his cheek where i had hit and apologized saying i was in the wrong. he said it was ok. this would come up during arguments where every time id explain it was an accident and i was wrong to joke like that and ive shown him it wouldn’t happen again.
he then sent this paragraph:
“Yk what? Fuck trying to be a good guy anymore. I’ve tried making excuses to my friend to make them hate you less. I don’t wanna hear you say shit like my decision was fucked up I decided what was best for me and call me selfish I don’t care. You hit me, and made me feel guilty for saying no. Didnt you repost the tt about things that mean no? So why wasn’t my uncertainty enough for you. It wasn’t my fault or my issue to take care of alone, I never wanna see you utter the words “I thought it wasn’t my fault” because you hitting me was YOUR fault, not mine, not anyone else’s. Just because you might not have meant to doesn’t change the fact you did and that is unacceptable. I’m glad you got your closure but I’m done. I don’t wanna be your friend I don’t want you in my life ever again. There are so many things I’m happy to be free from and yes is breaking up didn’t hurt as much as you and I will not feel bad about that. I now don’t have to worry about becoming your father. Also, NEVER assume I liked someone else while dating you. That is rude as hell and disrespectful, you jumped to conclusions and your overthinking isn’t my issue anymore. I will never forgive you, and will have my own opinions you can take that as you will. My friends are against you and I cannot defend you. If you want your hoodies back let me know because otherwise I’m donating them if you don’t want them. Also yes I am mad about you loosing my hoodie, the one I cared the most about. But I will never let you replace it and ruin a perfectly good hoodie.”
when he references when i made him feel guilty we were starting to do something (i ALWAYS made him say enthusiastic yea or id stop due to him not expressing emotions typically due to both of us being neurodivergent) and his dog walked in. we stopped to pet her and he asked me to take her outside of the room, i got up from where we were and opened the door where he started calling for her and she took my spot. i awkwardly sat there and was a bit disappointed because he knows i have trauma related to intimacy and that i don’t see that stuff as just whatever, but instead as a way to be closer to someone. after we hung out and i confronted my friends on what to do i let him know it hurt me and he told me that saying that made him feel guilty and that it was not ok. i agreed that i shouldn’t have said that and looking back i shouldn’t have expressed i wanted something due to his unsureness but i never intended to be like the ppl who hurt me.
this all really hurt because he brought up my dad, who i don’t tell may ppl details about. he was a horrible person to me and my mom and my goal in life is to be everything he wasn’t.
my friends tell me im not a bad person for thinking that my ex is in the wrong for bringing up things that we had previously resolved many times but i feel like it’s partly my fault for not being considerate of situations and asking for a bunch of reassurance during the relationship. AITAH?
Edit: I never meant to guilt trip him, i know im in the wrong and many people have told me i haven’t taken accountability or paint myself as a saint. i know im not a saint, i know i need help and i am in therapy and have been for a while working through this situation. my friends encouraged me to post here. i like hearing input from you guys weather good or bad because id like to improve on what i can do better. if anyone needs screenshots or evidence i have that.
Id also like to add that we would lightly slap eachother constantly as a joke when someone said something out of pocket, it was mutual and it was simply a matter of accidentally hitting him harder than intended, i did hit him and that wasnt accidental, but how hard i hit him was accidental.
for more clarification the hit was emotionally fueled because he was making fun of my bestfriends little sibling and said “she looks like shes gonna be a (t-slur)”. once again HITTING WASN’T THE ANSWER and i acknowledge that was a MEGA asshole move.
TLDR:ex bf brought up previously (thought to be) resolved situations that op took accountability where op hit him due to him saying something insensitive about and unintentionally made him feel guilty for stopping “activities”.

I know this is such a cliché question, but finally, after 19 years living on this earth, I finally know what I want to do. For context, I am currently studying about AI. The reason I chose this field is because of part of my friend's advice, my lack of direction after I'd finished high school, and because I think that since AI is basically everywhere now, it would open up many job opportunities for me in the future. But in the middle of my FIRST semester, I fell into this kind of depression phase? Where I would just stay at home all day and just do nothing, I just stop caring like I wasn't even taking care of myself anymore for awhile..., I just watch a bunch of YouTube videos all day. I just feel hopeless and directionless, the major that I blindly chose just isn't for me at all (shocking, I know), it had gotten to the point that I often make up excuses just to not go to class, and as a result, I failed 2 subjects. So fast forward to 1 day while I was mindlessly watching some YouTube videos I came across an animation channel that makes me realize how much back in the day I always wanted to start an animation YouTube channel like Jaiden Animation, TheOdd1sOut, or Domics since these are some of my favorite channels that I grew up with. I know that whoever reads this might roll their eyes or find it cringe (it's me, I'm just self-projecting), but I feel like I have a purpose to keep living now and It's been 2 weeks since I started learning how to draw, and I know it's too early to say anything, but after realizing what I truly wanted to do gives me life now, I even go to class regularly now. But now I face a dilemma since the major that I'm currently pursuing still sucks the soul out of me. I wanted to know what should I do? Should I focus on my passion or just forget about it since it's just delusional, or should I just keep studying while focused on what I wanted to do, but then the time and money I put on my college degree would be wasted... So I would like to know what you guys all think

I am looking for a craft-oriented video editor to partner with on a long-term basis.
As S2S video editor, you will be working closely with me on producing evocative, well-crafted video essays. Initially, your task will be to adapt to the already established style of the content. Just one of the many LIES this fucking LIAR put forth in the string of diss tracks he released last month. Watch undercover Drake stans come tell me to calm down just because I typed several sentences and occasionally used all-caps.
I don't see how anyone thinks Drake did a good job in this beef when most of his biggest claims were OBVIOUSLY baseless. Most of his disses towards Kendrick were either superficial, based on something he "heard", or a downplay of Kendrick's attempts to uplift the black community.
This blacker than you lyric, along with the whole third verse in Family Matters, is like Drake's trying to paint Kendrick as bigoted towards white people just for making To Pimp a Butterfly, DAMN, etc.
"We get it, the blacker the berry the sweeter the juice" is basically saying "bro stop commenting on racial issues in Hip-Hop" like wtf? So gross.
The reason I came up with this post was because I noticed that EVEN DURING THIS BEEF:

• Kendrick calls Adonis a black man, despite his skin color

Hey guys,
Since the summer update I have a very severe issue that's (at the moment) making Craft almost unusable for me. It's really tricky to troubleshoot but I'll do my best to give as much details as I can below.
What triggers the issue?

• My normal workflow is the following:
  • Create a document in Craft
  • Export it as a Word file
  • Someone else edits this Word file
  • I open it again and copy + paste the new stuff into the Craft document that I created previously
  • ==> ISSUE

What is the issue (important note: These are ALL the symptoms I experienced so far but sometimes I also have SOME of them)?

• I can't create a new line anymore
• When I try to click on something, it jumps to completely random positions
• I can't scroll properly anymore (it moves only a little bit)
• Once it automatically scrolled like 1 mm up and down repeatedly (in a loop) and it was stuck, causing my CPU usage to spike and my MacBook even overheated!
• When closing and re-opening the document, the beginning is completely blank (where normal text should be)
• When I open a document that contains cards, some cards are just blank (even OTHER documents are affected, so not just the one where I pasted the edits)
• When I open a document that contains images, some images are just blank (again, even OTHER documents are affected)

What I think is happening:
Based from my testing, my guess would be that some kind of formatting (when copy + pasted from Word) can completely annihilate Craft.
Workaround:

1. Delete the old document + restart Craft
2. So far it SEEMS like when I copy + paste one paragraph at a time (important: with command+option+shift+V), the issue doesn't occur

My wish:
Could the devs please have a look at this? I've been using Craft since over 3 years and I love it but this issue is making Craft almost unusable for me at the moment. Thanks!!

Okay so I just started working within the AV industry for a small family owned business as a AV tech installer.(9 months) I make a year in August , I like what I’m doing. I’ve been able to run small sites , read prints and do multiple big projects with my team. Now I like what I’m doing but I don’t want to be an installer for too long ( maybe another year or 2 ). I wanted to look into the route of becoming a Field engineer. I like the installer part of my job but I’m more interested in commissioning or troubleshooting and understanding the functionality of certain devices. I was wondering aside of doing AV install work what other career paths could one take within the AV world.

When I go to edit a comment, the comment appears in the editor window without line breaks/paragraph separation, and I have to re-add those breaks every time I edit a comment, otherwise the breaks are gone from the edited comment.

Yesterday I found out that my long distance crush and bff met her bf, she used to tell me that she made out with him and yesterday she said something that broke me to an extent I don't think I can recover from. She told me that they met in the morning and that was the best makeout of her life!!! Idk what to say I haven't replied to her yet I feel like a loser.
What hurts me the most since the day I met her (online, haven't met her IRL yet) she has been the nicest person to me she says I LOVE YOU to me everyday I get it's different when u say that to a friend but she has sent me 500+ pics of her hy herself I couldn't help myself but fall for her. She didn't liked when I talk abt different girls. She hates jy every female friend (even today).
She used to call me everyday for hrs but now she doesn't. She wanted to meet me but now she doesn't she refused that was really unexpected for me so I had to go to her city roam around all day and came back at night coz I had already booked the tickets.
She knows that I love her and when I confessed to her she said she doesn't want to be in a relationship it's just not her thing and all I understood. Months later she met her ex who has ghosted her and they kissed she didn't told me abt it she told me after few days that they are back together. I knew something was off between us coz the person who says that she loves me everyday didn't even wished me on my b'day despite knowing how imp it was for me coz I literally had no friends at that time. When I didn't replied to her she realised and wrote a paragraph but the damage was already done ig. A month later I made a special video for her bday she told me everyone was there but the person she adores the most wasn't (yes, she said she was talking about me) she spent the day with her bf.
The problem is she has broken up and got back with him multiple times during these 4-5 months and always tells me abt her relationship details coz she claims I'm her bff if anything happens in her life she would come running to me. She wants me to stay with her as a friend as long as possible. Even I can't stop talking to her coz I literally love her. She texts ne she feels lonely she feels anxious she texts me at midnight and I've to be there.

I have recently made a AI based youtube shorts channel for kids. It's doing great so far. Tbh this is the first time I got some youtube success. Kids' channels are growing the fastest on YouTube. Channels like Cocomelon get more views than Mr. Beast. This is the first video I made for this channel. Everything from script to audio and video is done with AI. Here are the steps I followed
First go to ChatGPT. Now that 4o is free for everyone we have better outputs. We use ChatGPT to generate rhymes or songs. 4o is great at it. The prompt:
Can you create 10 children's rhymes of 4 paragraphs each that are educational and entertaining? Please include a variety of topics such as animals, space, fairy tales, everyday heroes like firefighters and doctors, seasons, and important life skills like sharing and kindness. Each rhyme should be catchy, easy to understand for young children, and incorporate fun facts or moral lessons where applicable. Feel free to introduce imaginative characters and vibrant settings to make the rhymes more engaging.
You have 10 poems now. Go to Suno .com and create an account, you can use google. Now from the create page, select “Custom Mode”. Copy paste one the the lyrics/rhymes. For style of music I used, “children rhymes song”. Give a title and click on “Create”. The results are surprisingly good! Download the audio.
On to the last step. Go to adobe express. From dashboard go to animate from audio or just search on google, “adobe animate from audio”. Select a character and background. Upload the sound file. Wait till the video is generated. You have your rhymes video ready. This takes like 5-10 minutes only for the whole process.

Hello fellow DMs, I can't find official resources on burrowing rules other than a very small paragraph in the Monster Manual about burrowing, so if you have any additional resource to add to the table (e.g. unearthed arcana, another reddit post etc.) please do: I'd prefer to not reinvent the wheel if there already are some official or semi-official resources.
Anyway, I'm running the essential kit's adventure and in a few days my players will face some Ankhegs: to spice things up (3 out of 5 are seasoned players) I've read a book called "the monsters know what they are doing" and read the following:

1. Ankheg have a burrow speed of 10ft, so they will stay burrowed at that depth, waiting for prey.
2. Once they reach their prey, they will attack and attempt a grapple: if nobody intervenes, they will keep attacking until the target creature dies, but if a second creature comes to hit them, they will burrow underground with their newly found food.

No matter what, I'm going to attempt this kind of interaction because I'd love to see the dread in my players' faces when they realize they are going down (pun intended)...
But this also raises some questions (and I'll provide my interpretations):

1. How would you manage a player grappled by a creature that can burrow itself below ground? I imagine the Ankehg is digging a tunnel, so the grappled creature will simply follow in the same tunnel and there will be complete darkness once the Ankegh is below -5 feet depth.
2. Would you rule that the grappled creature is always "1 square away" from the creature that is grappling it, so when burrowing it should be "1 turn away from going underground"?
3. Would you rule that a burrowing creature have half or 3/4th cover when just below ground, but total cover when there is at least 5ft of ground between the creature and the attacker?
4. Could players attempt to pursue a burrowing creature by following the tunnel it is digging? I'm not sure I'd allow it because this module adventure specifies these Ankegh close the tunnels behind them, but if I did allow it (and I will to avoid a player death) do I simply consider it difficult terrain or shall I also consider something else?
5. Ankegh are large creature, so they are 10x10x10 feet, right? If they are 5 feet above and below ground, I would rule that they have no benefit from cover.

If you have anything else to add or point out, please do. I also hope this informations will inspire your next encounter

This is going to be a long post. So yeah just clearing the air.
I met a friend here last year. Last Christmas. I have been very helpful and patient with him. We talked to each other after he had posted about his breakup kind of thing. I don't know why I reached out to him. I never ever do it. Never. I try to stay away from any kind of drama as much as possible. But I had been very very helpful to him from the start and I don't know why. It was not love, I can assure you. We are not in love or anything like that. Maybe I just did that out of friendship or just like that. But I really don't know what to make of it.
Initially, things were kinda fine, he had little issues and I helped him out with all of those. And I repeat for nothing in return. And I was alright with it, as I mentioned earlier, just because I wanted to. I am in law school and work at two startups, and to be honest I have a hustling mindset. I don't come from a rich or elite background. I work to get my foot in the door, hustle, network and grind. I am not gonna lie, not every day do I enjoy it, but on most days I do, and irrespective of my mood I push forth nonetheless. So when we initially talked, I was in junior roles at the startups, and law school was not that time-consuming, because I was not doing tons of other things in school.
Now, this person, if I call him, X, has been getting well slowly or so I think. He regularly vents to me, which I don't mind cuz that is what friends are there for. He has big dreams and ambitions, and he plans a lot. On some days, he works for those, but on most days he does not. And being the person I am, I have told him, that sometimes you just have to do it. Of course rest up, without rest it is going to be extremely difficult, but know when to end the rest as well. And then he blames me for being a workaholic or something like that. Fair enough.
We used to call earlier when we talked initially. But normal voice calls. Which used to be pretty one-sided, and just him ranting. I used to even talk to him sometimes, minutes before I had a meeting or something like that. Hell, I even talked to him and listened to his rants, before I walked into my law school finals. Like just minutes before taking my exams, I used to talk to him.
And idk why. I admit I am dumb, stupid and whatnot I guess. For his dreams and goals and everything, I have really worked hours with him. Like maybe deciding on something, coming up with ideas, helping him with his tasks, and many other things. I always listened patiently to his vents but he did not do the same to me. He did but again not like I used to for him. Just recently, I have been promoted in my startups, to super senior roles, and work has gotten a lot more serious and demanding and rigorous. In law school, I am on track to being the President of my School Committees. And school in general has been more demanding because of many other co-curriculars.
And as you must have guessed, there has been a fall in the calls, but meanwhile, I still helped him with all his tasks and projects. Just that could not call much. We had been arguing about this for quite some time, he is like if you can have meetings with your co-workers, can't you get on a call with me? You are not that available anymore. You are not this and that.
Today also we had a fight kind of thing. You claim to be so busy, but how can you text me with hour-long texts and stuff? Like are u even so busy the way you claim to be? That stung tbh, ngl. When I told him my point of view, he just said, you don't have to do anything more for me, good night and went to sleep without any explanation. I don't really know what to make of this situation. Tbh, the thing that stings the most, that the fact I even talked to him right before my exams, probably, I know a stupid move on my end, but yeah and this is what it amounts to. I just feel really empty.
I know I deserve some rude comments, I guess, but once you do tell me that, please just tell me how to detach myself from this situation. Like how to get away from this feeling cuz it has been eating me up.

To expand on the title, I find this not convincing for one major reason:
It ignores the possibly that the outlined process of achieving a communist society is flawed, or that the idea of a "classless moneyless" society is also flawed and has its deep issues that are impossible to work out.
Its somewhat comparable to group of people developing a plan for all to be financially prosperous in 10 years. You then check in 10 years later to see a handful downgraded to low income housing, others are homeless and 1 person became a billionaire and fled to Mexico...... you then ask "dang what the hell happened and what went wrong?". Then the response you get is "nothing was wrong with our plan since all of us didn't become financially prosperous".
Seems like a weird exchange, and also how I feel when a similar idea is said about Communism. Like yes, it is plainly obvious the communists didn't achieve their goal. Can we discuss why?
Of note: these conversations often times degrade to "everything bad in history = capitalism" which I find very pointless. When I'm saying capitalism I'm thinking "1940s-1950s America" where mom and pop have full rights to buy property and run a small business with almost no hinderence.... basically free market capitalism for all. This is also a better comparison because the Communist experiment was going on, in full swing, at the same time.

Edit edit: I've seen this pop up multiple times, and I can admit this is my fault for not being clear. What I'm really saying on the last paragraph is I'm personally the complete philosophical opposite of a Communist, basically on the society scale of "Individualistic vs. Collectivism" I believe in the individualistic side completely (you can ask for more details if you like). Yes the 1940s and 50s saw FDRs new deal and such but I was mainly speaking to how this philosophy of individuality seemed more popular and prominent at the time, and also I don't think a government plan to fund private sector housing really counts as "Communism" in the Marxist sense.
You can safely guess I don't like FDR's economic policy (you're correct) but that would be a conversation for another post and time.
