So I was on Instagram 4 hours ago in the bathroom and saw a model on it who's name I wanted to remember whilst forgetting im connected to work wifi on my personal device. When the the link opened it was a blocked site and the dread inside me ensued. I've had that come up before for opening gambling websites multiple times before and never have had a someone talk to me, although this is different (id like mention my employers don't really like me aswell which is also very concerning). For starters its a open wifi (only workers can be in range for, im not sure how many actually use it) and from memory I never had to put a username/password in (even if I did I would've just spammed letters) I work in a 24hour warehouse with over 900 employees (if found out ill be a social pariah if not fired), is it possible this could be traced back to me via ip address or phone blah blah blah? There is multiple different wifis available some are locked by passwords im presuming for those on the computers in logistics and IT Currently having a panic attack. Ok. this is a strange one and I need your help.
I'm a Virgin Media broadband customer. A few days ago I bought 2 new domains for a new business I plan on starting later this year.
I added the domains to my hosting etc, ( I build websites all the time this process never changes, I know what I'm doing :) )
When I added the domains I waited a few days, but one didn't work, It just didn't load.
the other was fine, no issues,
After spending days trying to figure out what the issue was I've resolved to the fact that Virgin Media may be blocking this domain from some past issue, ( I don't know)
I've spoken to them, they've no clue.
If I access the domain via VPN or from a different network (like 3 Mobile/4G ) it loads no problem. So it's leading me back to thinking it's Virgin media blocking this.
I don't want to start a new business using this domain it loads of potential customers around Ireland can't see my site.

I have a Mac Mini that my whole family uses. For this purpose, several user accounts have been created on it. I also use Homebrew to install and manage applications.
The problem is that AdGuard constantly displays a pop-up notification about a new version and suggests installing it, both for me and all my family members. I don't want to see these pop-ups because they are very annoying. I prefer to update applications through Homebrew at my convenience, not when the application decides I should do it. And my family members don't even have sufficient privileges to install apps through Homebrew, so for them, these pop-ups are purely sources of distraction.
For me, this is especially strange because one of the purposes of this application, besides blocking ads, is to disable annoying elements on websites. Why does the application itself behave annoyingly and can't just silently do its job?
I've reached out to support with a feature request, yet I'm doubtful it will be addressed, considering it's not the first time I've made such a request. Would anyone else here be interested in an option to disable automatic updates?

I bought one of those cheap videogame boxes (for a GBA game) some people make, knowing it wouldn't be of good quality. It was cheap so I didn't mind. The box arrived a bit damaged, which again wasn't the biggest deal, but I told the buyer. He read my message a few days later (at least according to the website), but he ignored me completely. The time to return it or ask for a refund passed (my fault, but up until this week I didn't know how this process works), so eventually I gave him a negative review simply explaining what happened ("the product arrived damaged, I tried to explain it to the seller and he didn't respond"). Big mistake. After this he called me a scammer on his negative review, and insulted me on private as well. I basically sent screenshots of what I previously sent him in case he was telling the truth and never received those messages, but based on his reaction I don't think he was being honest. Instead of engaging more, I just contacted Vinted. I got a response saying they were taking care of it, but the only thing they've done so far is to "block" our conversation (we can't text each other), but they left the reviews up. Had I been rude to him or had I lied about sending those messages, I'd understand his reaction or his 1* review, but I just sent pictures of the box, I said it came damaged and still complimented his design. Vinted's policy is to not erase people's reviews UNLESS there's insults or stuff like that. Idk but calling a scammer and a liar someone who just lost 7€ (and the box I won't even be able to use lol), when there's proof inside the conversation of what he did, seems like one of those cases. The seller had more negative reviews recently and reacted in a similar way btw.
And I know it's partially my fault for not acting sooner, I was just naive enough to think he would reply and I'd have time to solve this. Getting a negative review when I didn't do something wrong doesn't sit right with me.

I am searching for an add-on that would enable me to circumvent/ignore/block copy-block-functions of most websites.
For example: I want to copy a comment from a website, but after selecting the text & pressing CTRL+C or right click+copy my pc doesn't save the text, because the website is somehow denying that function.
Of course there are ways around that, but they're pretty time consuming.
Is there any way to get around that with an add-on that does it faster?
(I am kinda surprised that Firefox doesn't block this bullshit by default...)

Basically the roms are still on the server and it's just the download button that is deactivated, and I found a method to still download those seemingly unavailable roms. I'm not sure if it's the easiest one but it's the one I found to be working reliably, if anyone has an easier one feel free to share.

Firstly, go to vimm's vault and open the page of the unavailable game you want to download
Now look for any other game that can still be downloaded and open it in another tab (the game doesn't matter, the only thing that matters is that it has the download button available)
For the sake of simplicity we will call the tab in the first step "true game" and the second one "proxy game"
Go to the "true game" tab and do "right-click -> inspect" on any part of the website
Don't worry if you don't understand this stuff, you only need to perform a search (depending on your browser there will be a bar that says "Search in HTML" or you will have to activate that search bar with Ctrl+F)
On that search bar input "mediaid". Keep pressing intro (this looks for the next matching result, as there will be more than one) until you find a line that reads like this: (where the XXXXX are actually a string of numbers)
Copy or write down that number and you can now close the "true game" tab, we won't need it anymore
Go to the "proxy game" tab and repeat the steps 5 and 6
Now instead of copying it you will replace that number by the one we already copied before from the "true game". Some browsers allow you to directly edit the values but in other browsers you will have to right click on the value and select "Edit attribute"
Once done you can click the download button of the "proxy game". If it all went well it will download the "true game" instead of the "proxy game"

And that's it, if you didn't understand something tell me in the comments and I will make it as clear as possible.

I do not want to create a new Odoo-website for multiple reasons, but I do want the appointments to trigger certain actions in Odoo:

Create new CRM-lead with the information the potential customers provides in the booking form
Send an e-mail with the booking confirmation
Block a slot in my agenda linking to the customer information
... etc

Is it possible to create a landing page containing a booking form with Odoo which I can link to via my wordpress website ?
I don't seem to find a lot of info online... Can someone provide more info on this topic ?

Normally, whenever I try to torrent something, it stalls on the college Wifi. Understandable that they blocked torrenting. So I use a VPN to bypass that.
But recently, I torrented KDE Neon's official ISO from their official website, and it worked on the college Wifi. I tested it several times with different torrents, and it seemed like this is the only one that works.
I don't understand why this is the case. I thought they blocked the torrenting ports, which should mean that it doesn't matter what I torrent it won't happen. Please explain to me why this is the case, and correct my understanding if it is wrong. I'll appreciate it.

I wanna know what I can improve in my homelab for better security so here's my homelab:
My main server is a old PC with a i7 2600 32gb of ram, it's running proxmox. On it I run 4 VMS and 11 lxc, those being TrueNAS and that's not fully up yet and I'll get to that later, home assistant, Ubuntu server for a few docker containers that are for Linux isos, pfsense that is down rn and not configured cuz when I installed it it was exam season and I didn't get to it since and I thinking of making a subnet for homelab. For the lxc I run wireguard that has a exposed port on the main router (some TP-Link one) and I use it to safely connect to my homelab and all my family members have it on their phone/laptop also, nginx proxy manager that also has exposed ports but not the management port, pihole for blocklist I use firebogs lists along with some that I put there to block local ads, homepage that isn't fully configured as I'm transitioning from homarr, homarr is exposed to the internet using npm, I use a paid domain and I run it thru cloudflare and in cloudflare I just use DNS to point to my public IP, other services that run thru npm are jellyserr and jellyfin, for other services I use the vpn and with pihole I use example.local
My other server is an orangepi5 that's currently down but I run on it jellyfin and immich with it's npu, I also have a 4tb hdd connected to it but that will change soon as I wanna use it with TrueNAS but I need to do a backup first
I don't run any vlans and don't have any managed switches as I'm broke and I'm doing my CCNA rn
So what do you recommend to improve security and also what's a cheap way to get some stronger hardware and managed switch Thanks in advance Also sorry for my bad English I'm not a native speaker.
