I watched this almost 4 years ago now so my memory has gaps but I'm just going to add anything I remember and hope for the best.

• The setting is a world with humans 'monsters' and gods and angels
• This is a spin-off, the original series was about a like battle between the humans and angels who were working together to defeat this villainous dragon. They win and seal the dragon away.
• In the spin-off there is someone (the prince/new king) trying to unleash that dragon for some sort of power because he is sick and dying(Dont remember the ailment but he had these dark purple bruises climbing up his forearm). And our female MC and her crew are trying to stop that from happening
• The opening scene of this anime is our pink-haired girl running(cause she is late) through the market in the morning greeting everyone.
• The subplot is the prince and the fmc are actually falling in love but she doesn't know he is behind this. They met in the first episode some festival was happening in the town centre and the prince attended in disguise and they danced together but she never saw his face
• Throughout the series she kinda forms a little crew with people she picks up along the way, one of them being a brown-haired man from the original anime who is her uncle (I think) there is a giant duck caravan thingy that they use as transport.
• At some point in the show they go to the angels for help
• The prince (short blond hair, green eyes?) managed to summon the dragon (black and green)

Some of this might end up being slightly off so don't be thrown off if like one of the points doesn't sound right

In before the "buy it yourself", Husband works and I'm a SAHM, he's very generous with buying me nice things that I used to treat myself to when I was working but these aren't cheap and he's sceptical.
He says he doesn't want to spend so much money on something I can't even use.

I don't want to write a long post about my life , but I need some adivce .
I want to explain in a short, clear post.
I watched porn before. (mostly hentai, yuri porn) . In or out, I watched it, sparingly. Obliviously, I controled my watch of porn. Plus, I was taking care of my disabled mother. It did helped to control my watching porn.
However, the content is begining to be longer than five minutines. I watch it almost an hour. An hour is little too much in my opinion .
I tried to block porn. It worked for a long time but I can't resist of being horny, especially when you are a 35 single woman. I don't want a partner because I like being single. I can't see myself with somone.
I don't want to be an addict nor I don't want to rid of porn ( I admit it). I need to take care of this problem before getting back at college.

It was a series that, despite bad guys, monsters, and fights, was ultimately teaching intense lessons of diplomacy and leadership. The crew of the Enterprise weren't "violent/cool," and I liked that. Finally, I realized, here was a show about pacifism.
And, yes, "Star Trek" communicated themes of pacifism. It might have been a fluke of 1960s special effects budgets, but "Star Trek" rarely showed the USS Enterprise firing off its weapons or getting into full-scale starship battles. The common playground pop culture query of "who would win in a fight?" seemed churlish with "Star Trek." Would Kirk win in a fight with, say, Han Solo? Even as a wee bairn, I had to ask why Kirk and Han Solo would be fighting in the first place. I figured Spock would merely ask Han Solo about his ship while Kirk invited him in for a meal. Power, "Star Trek" argued, wasn't derived from one's ability to dominate and overwhelm others with tactics and weapons prowess, but to negotiate, adapt, and remain friendly.

Whether "Star Trek" taught me to be a pacifist or whether I was already a pacifist can be debated, but creator Gene Roddenberry and I were definitely on the same wavelength. "Star Trek" took place in a post-war universe at a time when humans had outgrown the need to kill each other for resources, and petty political grievances were a thing of the past.

Star Trek is for nerds, and that's a good thing
While it may be a cliché, I still maintain that "Star Trek" is for nerds. That is, I should hasten to add, a high compliment. With the release of "Next Generation," I was given my clearest, most refreshing draft of action-antidote. I began to realize that the rest of the American viewing public longed for conflict and war and action in their entertainment, with boys my age constantly raving about the latest 'splosion-fest that evoked the word "awesome."
Meanwhile, over on "Star Trek: The Next Generation," the universe had already graduated, moved into the stars, and gave up on action altogether. Oh sure, Commander Riker (Jonathan Frakes) was handy with a phaser, Worf (Michael Dorn) could murder you with a bat'leth, and the USS Enterprise-D needed to employ some sneaky battlefield tactics to outgun the Borg (or any number of other opponents), but one always got the sense that weapons and fights were a last-ditch tactic, a formality that must be seen through before an understanding could be reached. War was to be avoided at all costs.
What's more, there were classical references! Whenever Picard quoted Shakespeare, my heart would sing. By the time I turned 13 (when NextGen had just finished its fourth season), I too was getting into Shakespeare and Picard emerged as a teacher, a fictional professor that you didn't want to disappoint. I finally realized that the nerdy sci-fi technicalities of "Star Trek," along with its classical obsessions, workplace propriety, devotion to diplomacy, multicultural mindsets, and ability to brainstorm open-minded solutions to complex problems ... these were all aspirational states. Scoop in a few ethical dilemmas — racism, euthanasia, gender politics — and "Trek" gave me everything.
Star Trek obsession is healthy, actually
Like with the original series, the peacefulness of "Next Generation" could easily have been a product of its budget; without the money to stage massive phaser battles, fights and scrapes rarely rose above the skirmish level. This, by necessity, required the show to de-emphasize violence. The makers of "NextGen" also couldn't afford to visit alien worlds regularly, forcing them to shoot on the same six or seven sets week after week.
The limitations, however, allowed Trekkies to enjoy our time on board the Enterprise. "Star Trek" is, after all, a workplace drama above anything else, and we loved seeing the characters do their jobs on an day-to-day basis. We lived with the Enterprise crew long enough that we started to get a sense of how the ship worked. That, in turn, led directly into fantasies of living in "Star Trek," knowing we could operate the machinery if asked. It also didn't seem so terrible to live in a world that was devoted to science, peace, and diplomacy.

When J.J. Abrams' 2009 "Star Trek" reboot film came out, the franchise was altered to be one of the usual action flicks that "Trek" previously eschewed. It appealed to a mass audience. Conversations began as to what constituted "real Trek," leading directly into additional conversations about gatekeeping, fandom, and franchise evolution. Is "Star Trek" for nerds, or can it appeal to — for lack of a better term — jocks?
Conversations between Trekkies in the 1990s were impassioned, but rarely caustic (at least in my experience). In 2009, however, notions of fan toxicity were more openly acknowledged among pop obsessives, and people became angrier about their obsessions. All of a sudden, I was an "old school" Trekkie.
I was 31 and okay being "old school." After all, decades had passed since "Next Generation," a series that responded to Ronald Reagan and flourished during the 1990s. Why shouldn't it adjust again? I didn't like the franchise's actioned-up response to 9/11, but I was still happy to have debates as to what "Star Trek" meant and what modern action films communicated.

What Star Trek means today
I am on record with my feelings about the Paramount+ era of "Star Trek," and I have frequently been rather critical. I want to go on record, however, that my criticisms are not based in misplaced nostalgia, prejudicial hate against new "Star Trek," nor a gradually closing mind (an unfortunate affliction that can sometimes strike people rounding middle age). Indeed, I have liked a great deal of the "Star Trek" shows that have debuted since 2017. I think "Star Trek: Lower Decks" perfectly balances humor and irreverence with notable "Star Trek" themes of growth and maturity. "Lower Decks" is about lower-ranking officers who have the crappiest jobs on a Starfleet vessel, and struggle to grow up when they have a twentysomething's instincts toward laziness and bad decision-making. "Star Trek" is about adults, and "Lower Decks" sees people becoming adults.
Likewise, "Star Trek: Strange New Worlds" returns to an episodic structure, allowing for miniature dramas and handily-packaged morality plays to be presented more cleanly than the broad arcs of "Discovery" or "Picard." I only wince at "Star Trek" when it violates its own principles or lazily falls into action-based stories that (perhaps unwittingly) glorify combat, war, and aggression. And make no mistake, these kinds of stories were always part of the franchise; they didn't start in 2017.

Is the Story of Adam and Eve literally true, parable, or pure myth?

According to The Book of Akash, the story of Adam and Eve is a Midrash (Jewish story for children meant to teach a moral lesson) based upon Pharaoh Ay (as Adam) and Queen Khiyah (as Eve), who lived in the walled Garden of Meru-Aten and were cast out of Meru-Aten by General Horemheb who wanted to become Pharaoh.The Book of Akash says:*Ay was a reincarnation of the the soul of the first Adam (Adapa of Eridu), who later reincarnated as Enoch, Adamu the second king of Assyria, Melchizedek king of Salem, and then as Ay son of Yuya.
*Ay was the father of Nefertiti who married Amenhotep IV who changed his name to Akhenaten. Nefertiti had six daughters and one son: Tutenkhamun (Tut). Akhenative closed down the temples to Amun, putting the priests out of business, and built the City of Aten (Atentaten), and also a royal residence called the walled Garden of Meru-Aten, in what is now Amarna, Egypt. Hagoromo Is A God
Background: Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki (大筒木ハゴロモ, Ōtsutsuki Hagoromo), known to Earth's population at large as the Sage of Six Paths (六道仙人, Rikudō Sennin), was a legendary godlike figure who is regarded as the ancestor of shinobi,[4] for his act of founding ninshū which led to the creation of the ninja world. He was the son of Princess Kaguya‎‎ and alongside his fraternal twin brother, Hamura, were the first to be born with the same powerful chakra as their mother. Together, he and his brother defeated their mother, who had become the terrifying Ten-Tails, in battle and sealed the powerful beast within himself, thus making Hagoromo the first jinchūriki.
Feats:
Hagoromo and Hamura fought both their mother and the Ten-Tails in a battle that lasted for months, decimating the land in the process. He has the endurance and chakra to last months in a fight against his mother.
At some point in his life, Hagoromo suffered an unknown illness that was damaging his chakra pathway system from his time as a jinchūriki. After years of suffering and searching for a cure, he found his way to the Land of Redaku where he met Janmāru-Tataru. One night, a meteor passed overhead, which the Sage caught and cut in two and one of the halves immediately dissolved into dust, which were dubbed "polar particles". The dust enveloped the Sage and healed his body. Keep in mind he did this when he had no control over his chakra and basically because of this disease, wasn't able to use his charka. But he was still able to do this massive feat like superman.
Created The tailed beasts (尾獣, bijū), sometimes referred to as "Chakra Monsters" (チャクラのバケモノ, Chakura no Bakemono),[1] are the nine titanic living forms of chakra created by the Sage of Six Paths out of the chakra from the Ten-Tails.[2][3] They are differentiated by the number of tails they have, ranging from one to nine. He created life and basically gave them form and souls. Plus these creations are insanely powerful and Immortal. Their natural disasters that can level countries, mountain's oceans, and the strongest of them Kurama is hyped up to be able to destroy the world, which feats and statements provide for that to be true.
He created the moon, in the fight with his mother. There was no moon before.
He defeated Kaguya and Ten Tails, who are planet busters/dimensions to maybe Kaguya being a star buster.

His power was so great that centuries after his death, with his genes greatly diluted, his distant descendants,[31] Kinkaku and Ginkaku, were able to obtain jinchūriki-like powers by consuming the meat of Kurama instead of dying, as another Kumogakure shinobi did when attempting the same.
His bloodline is what enables all the characters in the future, to be able to do what they do and be as powerful as they are.
Hagoromo became the first person to master all five elemental nature transformations. In the anime, he was shown to use Lightning Release to demolish a gigantic rock and create a blade of lightning to impale his foes. He could also use Wind Release to produce air currents to cut through the God Tree's bindings.[20] With his mastery of the Yin–Yang Release to such an extent, he was able to combine his Yang chakra, the essence of physical energy, with his Yin chakra, the essence of spiritual energy, to create form from nothingness with a mere thought to bring it to life, an ability that he used to create the Tailed Beasts from the Ten-Tails' chakra.
In preparation for his battle with Kaguya, alongside Hamura, Hagoromo developed immense prowess in fūinjutsu. With his mastery of sealing techniques, he was able to first seal the Ten-Tails into his own body, and was later able to seal it away when his life came to an end. Even on his deathbed, Hagoromo was able to employ his Chibaku Tensei technique on a massive scale and use that chakra to create the moon to imprison the body of the Ten-Tails within it, a clear testament to his incredible power. His mastery of this skill also allowed him to brand others with a portion of his powers.
Hagoromo became able to use Susanoo in its Complete Body form to fight on par with Kaguya's Ten-Tails form, even able to deflect one of the Ten-Tails' Tailed Beast Ball.

The Rinnegan grants him the ability to use all of the abilities of the Six Paths Technique.[34] With the Outer Path, he could summon souls from the Pure Land and also undo another person's use of the Impure World Reincarnation, releasing the souls from their vessels and sending them back to the Pure Land.
He called the spirits of the deceased Kage to aid him in performing a Summoning Technique to bring Team 7, the tailed beasts, and Madara back from Kaguya's Dimension.
Even though Hagoromo died and his body was destroyed, his chakra and consciousness remained and traversed the world throughout the centuries.

The Outer Path (外道, Gedō) is one of the seven abilities of the Six Paths Technique granted to the wielder of the Rinnegan. It grants the user the power to control life and death. With this power, the user is able to revive the dead, transmit their chakra into black receivers, and manifest chakra chains.
Has all chakra nature's. One who wields the Rinnegan is said to exist outside the realm of life and death. Has the Six Paths of the Rinnigan and an unknown Rinnegan ability.
The Creation of All Things Technique was a technique possessed by Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki that allowed him to turn fantasy into reality. The process he used is explained to have initially involved the administration of imagination, and the spiritual energy which forms the basis of Yin chakra to create physical forms from nothingness. Then, through the application of vitality, and the physical energy which forms the basis of Yang chakra, he would breathe life into the resulting creations. The tailed beasts were created from the Ten-Tails' chakra with this technique.
It is said that Izanagi is simply a practical application of this technique.[3] According to Obito Uchiha, the Sage of the Six Paths used this ability to create many things besides the tailed beasts.
With a normal genjutsu, a user will apply an illusion to a target's senses, causing the target to experience things that are not real. With Izanagi, the user applies an illusion to reality itself, giving the user control over what is and is not real for as long as Izanagi is active. Users typically do this in order to protect themselves, negating any injuries they receive or even their deaths. When this happens, their injured self fades away as an illusion and their non-injured self immediately materialises in the previous self's place.[2] In the anime, users are shown extending Izanagi's influence beyond their personal reality, affecting their surroundings and those within it.[3]
Kāma (楔カーマ) is a seal that serves as a compressed backup of an Ōtsutsuki clan member's biological data that they can embed in the body of a compatible recipient known as a vessel (器, utsuwa). Xtreme Gaming vs Spirit, Grand Final

We get a rare sighting of the Stealth Assassin on XinQ. The Riki did absolute work in this one. The Grimstroke did not get to play dota and was abused all game by Riki. When he got his Diffusal Blade, even the cores were at risk of dying to the pesky support. The pickoffs were a huge pain for Spirit and the 5v5s weren't any better. Xxs' Dark Seer was masterful with his spell usage. The Walls made the fights near impossible to win for Spirit. The Normal Punch felt like haymakers. Then there's Dy's Bane on top of all this who did no wrong and provided the necessary lockdown to shut his enemies down. A sublime performance from XG lands them game #1. XG 1-0 Spirit.

Despite a small networth disparity between the two sides for most of the mid-game, you could feel that XG had to do so much to make things close. Xtreme flexed their Naga for XinQ and it didn't have the impact we come to expect from him. The Naga was basically used for disengaging or resetting with her ult and that's never going to be enough. Once the Song & Torrent Storm were down, Spirit would dictate the rest of the flow. Naix and TA were hampered in this game. Razor going in and linking any of the two meant they had to spend the fight running away or with no damage to use. If they were able to somehow hit a target, decrep + glimmer were there to save the opponents. XG had huge problems against the Centaur's initiation and Bane's Grip. The fight for the second Rosh ended in a complete disaster for XG. They tried to bail out of a terrible fight with a Song but the Stampede meant they couldn't escape. 4 heroes lost and an Aegis on the side of Spirit meant complete control of the map and the game for the Radiant side. The high-ground siege was safe for Spirit. Jugg never really felt threatened. Manta, Spin, and Healing Ward were all he ever needed to survive and reset. Spirit got so far ahead that they could comfortably dive into their enemy's fountain and get away with it. XG tried to get cute with their Naga pick and as a result, lost their first game in Wallachia. Spirit 1-1 XG.

We get Marci for XG with a twist. It was Dy playing her! Both sides exchanged blows but neither side pulled away until the 25th minute. Gyro with an Aegis sieged the T2 mid tower. Spirit put their symphony of stuns on display. Sven was able to Storm Hammer and blow up XinQ in the back line. Primal Beast Pulverized the Centaur. Bat Lassod the Lesh. DK Dragon Tailed the Gyro. With Sven pummeling them during the process, it was a clean team wipe for the Eastern Europeans. It looked grim for XG but they weathered the storm. In the ~43rd minute, a smoke-on-smoke action saw the Gyro getting free rein in the fight and Spirit paying heavily for it. The Dire weren't able to output the necessary damage to deal with Gyro. 3 casualties with no buybacks on Sven + DK translated into 2 lanes lost. It was all XG from that point. Spirit wanted to contest the last Rosh of the game but got dismantled in the fight. The creeps would end Spirit's misery as the 2 lanes pushed while they were fighting for Rosh. This was a much closer game but XG came through when needed. XG 2-1 Spirit.

Game 4 has a script we are all aware of. Yatoro's Faceless Void got his way and with no propers saves for Chrono, it was only ever going to go one way. Yatoro's entire plan was to catch the Troll Warlord in his ult and that would pretty much secure the fight. Between Zeus and Enchantress, Spirit had an absurd amount of damage that synergized very well with Chrono. The beginning of the end for XG happened around the 27th minute. Troll with Aegis wanted to push T2 mid but he lost his first life so easily and after reincarnating, he got Chronod and died. The remainder of XG couldn't bail out because Collapse's Slardar was on the case and so the rest of Ame's team joined him in the grave. The fights would follow a similar pattern from that point, giving XG no chance at this game. Larl's Zeus deserves a shoutout for a flawless performance. 15/0/17. We are going the distance. Spirit 2-2 XG.

This time around it was XG who went with Void and Spirit answered with the Anti-Mage for Yatoro. Spirit went off to a brilliant start. The Puck got destroyed mid by Leshrac. Pango was slowed down and the AM participated in early fights. Spirit had a respectable lead but some botched initiations by the Batrider were punished by Ame. Successive catches on Leshrac by the Void slowed down the game. This wasn't too bad for the AM. Once he got his Aghs, the map control started to become an issue for the Dire. The Radiant would get 1 set of racks mid but the game would still be in the balance. XG were scared to show in the lanes as an Abyssal from AM or any stun from Spirit's teammates was almost certainly leading to death. The deciding fight was for the 4th Rosh of the game. XG arrived too late for Rosh but they decided to fight anyway. AM would be able to kill both Void and Puck. The Void would buyback and the second part of the fight proved to be fatal for XG. AM jumped the wandering Ench, Ame Chronos the AM, and brought down his first life. SD would save AM upon his reincarnation. Void would lose all his mana and would get destroyed along with his 2 supports. All 3 with no buyback meant XG lost the Grand Finals. Spirit in TI form trumps the red-hot XG who won 13 in a row before losing 3 of their last 4 games. Spirit 3-2 XG.

P.S. I won't be doing DLS23 groups, maybe the last day of groups.

This is a concern that has been bothering me since watching a video on YouTube about how Sony censored Stellar Blade after 1 week though I'm not that sure on what was censored. Is there any reason to worry?

Just completed it for the second time. I beat it probably 7 years ago when I was in high school, but I rushed through the main quest and missed a lot.
One of my favorite moments was the battle for Adytum, I got the Blades weapons from the gun runners by destroying the deathclaws, but I still tried to keep the peace by telling Zimmerman first. I gave him the holotape or whatever, and watched as a Regulator killed him. Then I watched Blades storm the town with combat armor and plasma rifles killing all the Regulators. I watched the Regulators kill civilians in the street, but sometimes when a Regulator would die I'd see a civilian pick up their weapon and fight back. It was an awesome setpiece lol, it was fun to witness blind without knowing what would happen.
I also got hardened power armor and a turbo plasma rifle, which made me insanely OP. Killed the Master first, my first playthrough I was too scared to fight him so I used speech and the holotape to make him kill himself or something. This time I manned up and fought, and it was a lot easier than I thought it would be lol.
I've tried to play Fallout 2 several times, and I got far once, but it didn't keep my attention and was too hard for me. I suspect I was rushing through it like I did the first game and was getting punished as a result. Maybe I'll have to try to complete it now.

I am currently watching the ATeam which I really liked. I also rewatch Dragnet from the 80s, the Addams Family, & Charlie's Angels to name a few.
Also even though It was reverse and the movie came first I like Stargate.

Chapter 01

Ethan’s fists pounded the punching bag, sending a rapid series of jabs that landed with resounding thumps, each strike punctuated by ragged breaths. Sweat dripped from his brow, stinging his eyes, but he refused to stop, refused to surrender to the burning in his muscles or the rawness of his knuckles. He remained focused on punching.
Around him, the rest of the boxing team rested, even the coach looked like he needed a breather. But Ethan couldn’t afford to slow down—not with the first round of eliminations looming.
More, Ethan thought, his muscles burning as he threw another combination of jabs and cross punches. More, more, more.
Boxing had never been his choice; it was a path forced upon him by a father with unfulfilled dreams. Yet somewhere along the way, the thrill of the fight had ignited a fire within Ethan—a primal need to test the boundaries of his endurance, to feel alive in a way no textbook could provide.
But now his father lay dying in a hospital bed, and Ethan was exhausted. Mentally, emotionally, and physically. His muscles burned and his knuckles were raw. But he couldn’t stop.
“Oy, mate, you should take a break.”
Jacob’s voice cut through Ethan’s reverie, and he turned to face his friend, chest heaving. “I can keep going. I’m fine.”
Jacob shook his head, concern etched across his features. “You’re going to end up hurting yourself. Listen, I know you’re worried about the eliminations and your dad, but you’ve got this. You’ll be fine. You’ve trained so hard. Harder than any of us, mate.” Jacob placed a hand on Ethan’s shoulder. “Don’t beat yourself up.”
“It’s not enough,” Ethan stepped away from the punching bag. “Not yet.”
“What do you mean? You’ve improved a ton since you first started, and you’ve gotten to this level faster than anyone else. There’s no way you’re getting cut from the team.”
“I wouldn’t be so sure about that.”
“What are you talking about?”
“Nothing,” Ethan said, sighing as he ran a hand through his sweat-soaked hair.
“Listen, man,” Jacob said, giving him a sympathetic smile. “I get that you’re nervous. It’s normal, okay? But I’ve seen you out there. You’re good. Really good. If anything, the rest of us are the ones who should be worried—”
Before Jacob could continue, Ethan’s phone rang, the sound loud in the otherwise silent gym.
Looking at his phone made him frown and excuse himself. The caller ID was a familiar one. With his phone pressed against his ears, he walked down the corridor, leaving the other members of the boxing team behind.
“Hello?” Ethan said into the phone.
Then, his world tilted on his axis.

Ethan hated funerals.
It was a strange thing to say, and yet, there he was, thinking that exact same thing as he stood at the side, watching as a small crowd gathered around. The smell of freshly turned earth was thick in the air, along with a heavy dose of sorrow and grief. Or maybe that was his imagination; after all, most were likely putting on a show. A wake that lasted all of ten minutes. A quick eulogy. The final plop of dirt onto the polished wood coffin. Then they were gone. Just like that, they were gone.
His father’s funeral was over just like that.
Ethan waited a while longer after all the mourners had dispersed, then finally turned to look at his mother. His mother sat slumped in the front pew of the church; her gaze fixed on the ground. He sat beside his mother silently. She looked older today, like all the fight and life had just seeped from her body. They didn’t speak a word for the longest while, but finally, his mother broke the silence.
“Do you blame me?”
“No,” he said automatically.
You do, a small voice said in the back of his head. Because maybe, if they hadn’t sent him away, he could’ve pursued his dreams...
“Thank you,” his mother said, the relief in her eyes far too apparent. She wrapped her arms around herself. Her hands trembled. She swallowed audibly before she continued. “I was such a stupid little girl when we married. I had no choice but to leave for Dubai because...”
“You don’t need to explain anything.” Ethan looked down at his knuckles. “I understand.”
“He always blamed himself,” she said suddenly, and Ethan frowned. “For not just letting you into civil engineering. For pressuring you into, well, violence.”
Ethan smiled wryly, staring up at the empty rafters overhead.
Such violence, Ethan, a voice whispered into his ears. Focus on your studies, not on hurting people. You’ll have a bright future, I’m sure of it.
Ethan sighed as he felt the memory rise unbidden in his mind. It wasn’t the first time his mother had spoken to him like that, and it wouldn’t be the last.
You can’t always rely on your fists, she would say. Sometimes, words are all you need. They can change lives, even save lives. They can be the difference between a happy life and a miserable one. Remember that.
Yeah, well, she failed to see it wasn’t hurting people he was after, but pushing himself beyond his limits. To prove to himself that he could. To feel the limits of his body, and surpass them.
To feel alive.
“Your father wanted the best for you,” she said.
“It doesn’t matter anymore.” Ethan gave his mother a sad smile. He talked with his mother a little bit after, but eventually, he excused himself.
She hugged him before he left. A tight, almost desperate squeeze that seemed to drag out for longer than it really did. Ethan wasn’t entirely sure how to respond and wasn’t able to think of anything better than giving her a couple of awkward pats on the back.
Then, when somewhere nice, he lit a cigarette. Stupid, useless, and unhealthy, but he had to do something to let off steam or his entire body was going to burst apart like a firecracker.
When it was nearly time for the cigarette to burn itself out, he suddenly got engulfed in bright light. He didn’t think, nor could he; it was just way too fast.
The last thought he had was something along the lines of ‘the fuck?’ before he crashed face-first into space-time itself.

Ethan slammed his head against the plush velvet pillow, groaning. Post-reincarnation—transmigration?—headaches were a real pain, especially when you woke up in the body of a drunken wastrel named Theodore Lockheart, the most indebted, despised, fucked up noble in the entire bordertowns—lands that were on the border of the world of the living; lands that were under the constant threat of the dead.
He was tired, irritable, and he had a headache so annoying it was almost as if his skull was split open. Not to mention, his nose was throbbing in pain from what he could only guess had been a one-sided beatdown.
Had the Baron gotten beaten to a pulp somehow?
It was possible, after all, Ethan did remember snippets of Theodore’s recent memories—nothing more than that, though. Theodore tended to suit up as a rich merchant. And he’d likely gone to the bar after losing his fortune earlier in the night, and then had likely fucked a wench or two, vented on the poor women, gotten punched and kicked out.
Groaning, Ethan peeled himself out of bed and forced himself to move. He had things he wanted to do today, like sit somewhere nice and contemplate the meaning of existence—or smoke cigarettes. But sadly, he had none, and he despised alcohol.
Strange, Theodore—no, Ethan, thought. Why do I so easily believe in all this? And why am I so easily accepting that I’m this bastard now?
Though the question was there, Ethan found that it didn’t bring up any emotions. It was like an empty sentence in his thoughts, with nothing behind it.
Ding! System Initiating…
Consciousness transferred...

The screen, Ethan found, didn’t elicit any reaction out of him. It wasn’t shocking, nor unbelievable, it was just as if it was a universal truth he’d come to believe since childhood. Like a phone’s existence, or the internet, perhaps. The fact that he thought that way made him sigh. He just hoped anything else inside him hadn’t been changed.
Ethan looked through the page that appeared in front of him.

After looking through the available Classes, it didn’t take long for Ethan to immediately dismiss both the [Healer] and [Warrior]. [Healer] would be too weak unless he got to its Specialization Paths—not to mention he’d need to have faith in some god, which he did not—and [Warrior] meant he’d need to be close range all the time. Ethan didn’t like risk, thus that idea went to waste as fast as a blade through butter. That left him with two options, and a more or less clear idea of which choice to make.
[Archer] was dismissed for the sole reason that it didn’t appeal to him much, although he was indeed curious as to why it had [Thief] and [Assassin] as its Adjacent Specialization Paths. Regardless, there was only one choice left: Mage—something he’d have chosen anyway given that the system had given him [Magic Sensitivity] and [Magic Perception], although he’d yet to test those skills out. They seemed passive anyway.
Ethan selected his chosen Class.

Holy... So, this world’s really like a game, huh? There are no stats, though. Why? Ethan rubbed his chin. The skills were nice. Ethan was excited to test his skills out when someone knocked once on the door and entered. “My lord,” said the man Ethan quickly recognized as one of his advisors, Cedric, “I’ve received notice that the duke’s men have begun their journey from the Capital.” He bowed. “They’re coming to collect tax.”
Saying so, Cedric left Ethan to ponder.
Tax? What?
In this world of swords and spells, tax consisted of the rarest of monster parts and materials. Priceless Relics were found in the Deadlands just out the border—lands that were full of dangers of the highest caliber, along with endless rewards. And because these materials and items were all of a higher value, not paying tax could easily put a small town like this into debt, unless the town managed to somehow attract a wealthy and profitable industry or find themselves a noble willing to spend his coin to help their people.
Such a noble couldn’t be Theo, clearly. After all, he was just a run-of-the-mill spoiled brat from a prominent aristocratic family—the typical wastrel born lucky into money and power without ever needing to work a single day in his entire life.
Regardless, the tax was Ethan’s issue now, and he wasn’t ready to deal with it given that Theo already had quite a debt in the first place.
Ethan’s eyes deadened.
