Hey y'all! My dad is doing the 5BBT this weekend for the 2nd year in a row. Last year we cheered him on in Central Park, but this year it makes more sense to do so in Brooklyn. HI CHARLOTTE! A fan from Brazil! Lemme tell you about one of a few dramas that happened at the time of my wedding, more than a decade ago.
So, My parents and I organized almost everything. No wedding coordinator of anything like that (they do exist here but are REALLY expensive, like, "you have to be rich of get a huge loan" kinda of expensive). Usually it's the owner of the wedding venue who helps at the reception, maybe with the car taking the bride to the ceremony and THAT'S IT.
So, about one and a half, maybe two months before the wedding we send the invites. We'd already had something like "save the date", so everybody knew about the day, the hour, the ceremony and the reception.
I was really, REALLY busy with wedding preparations and asked my dad if he could please give the invites to my grandma, aunties, uncles and cousins from his side of the family, because he was already going there that day and everybody lived REALLY close (think same street / one street down over). Really close.
My dad said "yeah, sure, why not?" and went his way. About a hour later he called me, very obviously p-ssed. I asked what happened (arguments were quite common when all my grandma's kids were together at the same place, and believe me when I said my paternal grandparents had A BUNCH of kids).
Dad than said one of my aunties refused the invite. When he asked why, she said she'll only accept the invite if I PERSONALLY deliver the invite IN HER HANDS. He said he tried talk to her, saying I was really busy with the wedding preparations and didn't want even a great gift, just the presence of my friends and family would already be appreciated. Then she changed her excuse, stating that "she doesn't go to weddings held at a my church because her church doesn't see that with great eyes".
For everybody's information, at this time my fiancee and I were ALREADY married, signed the marriage certificate at the civil registry office of my city (something like the Courthouse in U.S. and Canada). So the church ceremony and reception were only to make everyone happy and have a loving and great time.
I was already mad at that time, so I said to my dad tell my auntie I said she can go take some sh*t and she was officially uninvited.
What made me laugh almost to the point of crying was my dad keeping his silence for 10 seconds, and after that he said "...well, I kinda of...already did that, honey."
The rest of my dad's side of the family happily accepted the invites and said they for sure understood my side and would be very glad to see me getting married to the love of my life.
Needless to say I don't have any kind of relationship with that aunt anymore. She can enjoy her closed-mind "religion" all she wants. She never did anything for me or my family, not even ask if everything is ok. Before or after my wedding. She's just...a relative. A very, very distant one.
Dad and I desagree on a LOT of subjects. But I know he'll always have my back. And I will have his and my mom's. I love my old man!

Hi stalkers, like the title says, despite using Grok's Stashes Overhaul, I'm still getting expert tools in the south, in areas where they shouldn't even spawn, which kinda breaks my early game as I want my progression to be slower. It's the only aspect of this addon that doesn't work. The abundance of repair kits etc. is there, just map tiering I think that's not working well for me for some reason. I tried different load orders without much success (plus it's hard to test whether it's working or not since there's a lot of RNG when it comes to stashes). I was thinking maybe one of the addons is interfering. Here's my load order if it helps :

Hi, a lurker here who finally made the jump to move into a slightly dumber phone, Samsung Folder 2. I bought it secondhand so it’s slightly lower in price. Everything has been working well despite being still on Android 6. However, it does get a little… error-y.
There’s one question for fellow Folder 2 user, though. How do you guys take screenshots? I tried the hom + end call button but it won’t let me :( any help / tips?

But here comes the problem. If two people write !cases0, or !cases1 or something like that at the same time, the script will execute perfectly but the Excel sheet won't be modified. Do you know why does it happen? How can I solve it?
I've tried to change the Control Concurrency with a Degree of Parallelism of 1 but if some case is pending (that sometimes happen) it's not a viable option...
Any tip or help? Thanks!!

Hi y’all!
I had applied for an apartment in March for moving in May 1st. Within the timeline of them saying they needed more information to approve or deny me, I found a much better place. So when they said I had 48 hours to verify some information, I ignored it. I figured I’d let the 48 hours expire and it would be done. Well now, they’re sending me documents to sign for my 5/1/24 move in. This confused me since I never did anything after applying. I searched my email and sure enough they sent me an acceptance email after saying they couldn’t approve me without more information I never sent.
However, what’s worrying me is in the application I found a clause about signing the lease contract before being approved. I don’t remember if I did this. If I did, could I be in trouble for not moving in or be evicted? I can’t find the document anywhere, which makes me hope I didn’t. Plus, why would they have me esign the lease if I already signed it? They also require proof of renters insurance, which I don’t have so I obviously never sent.
I decided to look at the lease they sent me to sign, and I’m extra worried now. I still have not signed anything to my knowledge. There’s a section that says: “FAILING TO PAY MOVE-IN CHARGES. If you don't pay the first month's rent, all or any other sums due and owing when or before the Lease Contract begins, all remedies pursuant to this Lease Contract and at law will apply. We also may end your right of occupancy and recover damages, early move-out charges, attorney's fees, court costs, and other lawful charges. Our rights and remedies under paragraphs 11 (Early Move-Out) and 33 (Default by Resident) apply to acceleration under this paragraph.” If I never signed the lease, does this still apply?
Would me not remembering signing anything, me not providing the required info within 48 hours, the residents portal only showing a pdf of my application and not showing a lease, and them emailing me to sign the lease less than 24 hours before my “move-in date” be enough to protect me legally? I’m just so anxious about this. I don’t want an eviction on my record or a lawsuit for an apartment I never lived in over missing an email. Had I seen the email, I would’ve told them I wanted to withdraw.

1. How long did y’all take to prepare for the exam? i have taken a glimpse at the content and indeed it is more than part 1. part 1 i take about 4 -5 months plus. (given that i was working too & had limited off days to take and concentrate on studying)
   
2. Are there any tricky areas or advice y’all have in terms of preparing and when answering the questions? Understand that part 2 is more of application and situation based. also saw a few posts saying some papers had quite some calculations questions while some didn’t.

Hi everyone, we got an RFE which we expected because our lawyer advised filing before the medical exam. Did any of you who got an RFE have to wait to get your biometrics scheduled until after you submitted for the RFE? We originally filed end of March and have not received a notice of a biometrics appointment and the USCIS rep said it still is not scheduled as of this Monday. Did I do something wrong ? One Epoch with keras take ~30-40min with the same parameter, both code are running on RTX 3090, in WSL2 environnement.

Hi y'all, how is the current situation in Tarkov regarding the cheaters?
I read an article from January 2024 that BSG banned 11,000 cheaters and shared their usernames but reading some of the recent posts here it seems that it didn’t help the game at all. I would like to play this game again but considering how unplayable it was months ago… it’s probably better if I keep my nerves if the game is still unplayable. Thanks a lot in advance!

Hi all! Below, I'll describe what I'd like to do, what conditions I'm working under, and what I've tried to far.
What I'd like: I am looking to bring in data from one table/sheet into another automatically based off of matching off the primary key (both tables have matches in their primary key fields). Effectively, I'd like the equivalent functionality to a VLOOKUP (excel) or a JOIN (SQL). I need to contextualize data from one software with datas from another, and hoping to do this in airtable.
Conditions: 1. I cannot use any third party apps like zapier 2. The destination table is brought in via native connector 3. The source for the data I'd like to be looked up is brought in via API 4. the lookup needs to happen automatically off the primary key 5. Both tables are in the same workspace
What I've tried: 1. Both tables have been updated to be able to sync to another table 2. I have tried making the primary keys linked records, but this cannot be done given how the data comes into airtable 3. I have created a linked field and an associated lookup field in the destination table, but updating the linked record field is manual and therefore a non-starter (far too many records to do this accurately) 4. I have tried setting up an automation, but I am frankly stumped on what to define in the trigger and actions - I have tried seemingly every combination and I can't figure out how to get an automation to basically do this:

• "WHEN there is a match between table1 and table2 ON 'primary_key', THEN a new field X should be created that brings in field Y from table1 to table 2, and remains blank when there is no match"

It may be that I need to pre-create this new field to update in table2, but even so, I'm lost on triggeaction (keep in mind how these tables are generated - API and native connector)
This is critical to my workflow. If I cannot do this, I cannot use airtable as the solution for my company. ANY help would be very appreciated!
