I (21F) have an issue with my best friends (20F) boyfriend (24M). We currently don't live in the same country. Back in March, I took a trip to visit her after not seeing her for 5 months or so. She had just started seeing her neighbor and sleeping over at his apartment. He's the island's biggest drug dealer and is an addict to many drugs. She is the complete opposite; into skincare, her health, and works a "normal" job. He comes from a good family and chose this path. The thing is, she always told me she never wants to be with him in public because she doesn't want to be known as the "drug dealer's girlfriend", which I totally agree.
The island is small and people talk. I've had phone conversations with her, and he acts very weird; almost like a little baby trying to get mom's attention on the phone. He constantly has girls come over to buy, and all the strippers want him, since he used to date/sleep with almost all of them. When I was talking to her about planning to come visit her, he was not a big fan of it. He doesn't want to share her to say the least. When I ended up visiting her, I met him, unwillingly, at his place. He did a line of coke 3 minutes after being introduced. He didn't engage conversation with me and barely looked at me. He wanted to include himself in our plans, not because he wants to bond, but because he wants to watch out for her because he doesn't trust her.
One night, me and my best friend went out to the club. She got very wasted and we ended up leaving. While we were out, he was blowing up her phone. She blacked out on the drive home; she was drunk and I was completely sober. He called her 22 times on the drive home. I ended up picking up one of the calls because it was driving me insane and in a stern voice said that she was really fucked up but I'm completely sober and not to freak out because I'm driving her home. Got home and he was already waiting her us and was telling her how she is pathetic for being in the state that she is. Obviosuly I was defended her because what kind of drug dealer boyfriend tells his gf that kind of crap, let alone in front of her best friend? We got into an argument because he was getting on my nerve and told him to just leave her with me. Basically he ended up saying that "look how she is when she's with you". I was recording him because in case he said some really fucked up shit or did something I would have proof. She ended up getting dragged to his place while I was stuck in her apartment, and the next morning, my best friend told me how he was talking shit about me.
I'd never do that to her, to shit on her boyfriend to her face, but the fact that he did that kind of shows the amount of brain he has left. After I left, I pretty sure they talked about the situation because he was telling her how he wants a do-over with me.
Even when we call each other, which doesn't happen often, he acts like such a cry baby: ex. scaring her, or pretending to leave, or asking when she is done talking.
The fact that I was treated badly even just one time doesn't really motivate me to try again.
Now she is going to be visiting me for a month, but the boyfriend is coming along and they rented an apartment together. After that month is over we're supposed to go on a trip together: which he does not approve because they would be separated. While she is visiting me, she wants all three of us to do something together. I am 100% not down, but I never answered her yes or no.
I am very uncomfortable thinking about the possibility of running into him. I don't know how to just explain that to her straight up. I want to just suck it up and be a good friend to her, but I feel like an asshole if I told her that I can't see him. I don't know how to come about this to her.
How do I bring this up and would I be a shitty friend doing so?

I’m wanting to start the YYH anime and I know it’s on Netflix, but I know that Netflix has a history of sometimes altering and/or censoring shows when they put them on the service. So I’m wondering if YYH on Netflix (anime, not the live action) is the whole show and isn’t different or anything, or if I should just watch it on another service/pirate it. Thanks!

Personal profile or professional profile? Social media is a fun way to express yourself and interact with family, friends, and new faces all over the world. It can be used as a way to keep people you can not see as often updated on your life, as well as give you a chance to step into the personal moments of your friends lives. However, while social media may seem like a very personal media that you are only sharing with specific people, it can still serve as a public link to your entire social media history of posts, likes and comments for the entire world to see. As it turns out many companies in the modern day hiring process go through what is known as a media screening for both their new and existing employees. This calls for people to start keeping their social media profiles more professional rather than personal. These screenings can range across all social media sites along with any online presences across the internet.
First Media Key: Balance
The first media key is Balance which is known as the foundation for all of the other media keys and is vital to understanding how to use the remaining six of the media keys correctly. When job recruiters or interviewers look at social media platforms there is a chance they can be looking to see if the profile has good balance. This means they will be looking at the media provided on the profile from all angles to try and see who the user truly is as a person and what their personality and work ethic could be like. This means that when posting, you too need to understand your use of social media and how what you are doing may look from an outside perspective. The level of understanding you have on your personal profile’s outside image will be determined by your combined understanding of all seven of the media keys.
Second Media Key: Attitude Awareness
Every media creator has an attitude and it is up to the creature to project the attitude they want to portray. This continues to apply to social media profiles so people should be aware of the attitude they portray on social media and if it is a professional one or one that could possibly hurt their experience as an employee. Employers when looking at a candidate's social media page will be keeping a close eye out for if they express any values or project any messages. Values can be seen in both a positive and negative light in the hiring process depending on what the value is and the situation it is brought up in. Whether it is blown up and in your face or more subtle, every media maker also has an agenda. Job recruiters will of course be looking to see if the candidate’s agenda and values align or contradict with the agendas and values of the company.
Third Media Key: The Dignity of the Human Person
Another quality job recruiters may be looking out for is how you show dignity to the human person. They will often be looking to see if the candidate exemplifies dignity through how they interact with people online and how they talk about other human beings through both posts and comment sections. All media put onto a social media profile should always reflect, uphold and enhance human dignity. The profile should also promote that you both understand and are trying to help other people understand communities and the human person. Recruiters will be looking to see how you positively shed light on what makes humans unique and interesting all in their own special, God given ways. The main way to show understanding of human dignity is to treat people as humans and not as objects. A good way to show this is by portraying anti-suicide and anti-abortion values because it will show a true understanding of the value of human life and why it is so precious and needs to be protected.
Fourth Media Key: Truth-Filled
Something that job recruiters will always be looking to see is if your social media presence is truth filled or if you are spreading false truths and misinformation. Media can be a great outlet in helping to spread truths from humanity to God and everything in between. However, the media being an open outlet for free speech also leads to a plethora of misinformation, rumors, and lies that get spread across the internet. Job interviewers in this case will be heavily checking profiles for if the user can be seen spreading false information and trying to mislead or confuse others. It is also important to note that users should not tell lies about the human condition through their media and that it is possible for their media to be truthful without being one hundred percent accurate.
Fifth Media Key: Inspiring
Another way to look at a social media profile is to see if it inspires others positively or negatively. If a profile only talks about or shows what’s wrong with the world with a negative outlook on mankind, then there is a good chance that what you are putting out on social media is inspiring people negatively and causing them to see the world in a more negative and down sided way. A better way to direct your profile is by showing more of the positive outlooks on life with more happy tones that will inspire people in a positive way. Good goals to have when creating a positively inspiring profile is asking can this be used to help point the way toward Heaven and can this be used to help someone pursue virtue in a relationship with God. Media at its worst will point people in the wrong direction and towards a bad life, but media at its best can enlighten people, raise questions, help people grow in virtue, and inspire them to live better, more holy lifestyles.
Sixth Media Key: Skillfully Developed
One key that can really help set a profile apart from the crowd is if it is skillfully developed. Social media profiles are something people do for fun so the aesthetic, level of detail, and depth of the profile is not a requirement and completely up to the user. With that being said, making your profile professional and quality is a great way of showing companies that you are a person who applies effort and achieves quality in everything that you do. Media should always be produced well so our personal profiles are no different. Producing quality is essential if you want job recruiters to see your profile positively and especially if you want them to pay attention to what you post and create.
Seventh Media Key: Motivated by and Relevant to Experience
When trying to keep a profile professional it can be important to keep in mind what is relevant to the human experience. What you post on social media should be rooted in the realities of the world and through our own human experiences. Ways to keep your profile likable while still keeping it professional is by presenting messages which are relevant to your audience or following. If viewers are able to relate positively to what you post then they are more likely to have a positive perspective of you which gives you a better chance of being hired. However, it is important to remember to appeal to positive senses and emotions rather than one’s that can be seen more negatively. With all of this in mind, however, it is still important to express yourself and who you are, but also very important to make sure that who you are showing yourself as is a good, motivated person.

so my last post was about the realities that i have shifted to. however, this post will be about the realities that i plan to shift to/my wishful thinking. i have either thought of shifting to here or have already scripted such. i will provide a brief explanation about my dr and why i am shifting there as well as any scripting or ideas about it that i do have.

˖ ִֶָ𐀔 fairy dr ˖ ִֶָ𐀔

this dr is the one that i showed visuals for in a post not too long ago. in this reality, i am a fairy trying to hide my identity. my shadow shows my wings as the light casts upon me.
i come from a wealthy family. one who also hides identities about this. my familiar will be either a ferret, a wolf, or a crow. i personally cannot decide. i will probably spin a wheel for that.
this one is my priority to shift to next so fingers crossed! i find it somewhat difficult to shift to a new location the first time versus shifting to one that i am familiar with. i am debating between just adding this reality to my waiting room or shifting directly to it.
yes, i have a lot of chosen one esque drs, idk what to tell you there. i just enjoy the idea of hiding a big secret.

i love the percy jackson franchise and i love the lightning thief musical.

˚❀༉‧₊˚. code lyoko dr

code lyoko is a french animated and eventually a live action tv show about a group of children trying to fight a digital virus that can escape into the real world known as xana while also helping their friend escape the virtual world. her and her memories are connected to the virtual world meaning that if the super computer is turned off, she will go into a comatose state until it is back on. zana is connected to the virtual world however so in order to get her out of the place known as lyoko, they also have to keep xana around. to fight xana, they must go inside of lyoko through a virtual machine to transport their bodies and consciousness into the super computer.
i watched this series in middle school and was always so fascinated about how it works. i wish to shift to this reality one day. however, i do worry about how the experience about getting into lyoko would feel like. i am excited to go to it one day. i would shift to the english version of the show as that's the one that i grew up with. the voices of them feel more familiar to me.
so, about me in this reality. i am the main character aelita's sibling. aelita is the character in the super computer. i am a teacher at the middle school they attend. ten years ago, i went off to college before the events of the series took place. unbeknownst to me, my father was chased by officials and put my sister in a virtual computer. the computer was turned off and they left. i was told that they were missing.
that was until i came to teach at this boarding middle school. by this time i am twenty-eight years old. i have noticed the strange behaviors of my students and how they behave. even though they have returned to the past on occasion, the times that they don't i remember their behaviors as they could be troubling students.
spoilers for the show at this point onward, skip to the next section of my child actor dr if needed.
eventually, aelita is brought back to earth and is enrolled in the school. i see my little sister again. she seems to recognize me but not sure from where but i recognize her instantly. i mention needing a moment during class to which i try to process what had just happened. i come back and ask her to stay behind class and tell her everything. eventually, i help her fill in the blanks.
i've never really had such a wordy script for a concept before. i usually just bring a few ideas and sees how it plays out with a script but yeah.

𝜗𝜚˚⋆ child actor dr 𝜗𝜚˚⋆

in this one, i am an actor since childhood. i star in mostly live action. i look just as i do in this dr. i starred in shows like the sweet life of zack and cody as a child who stays in the hotel. said child being two to four years old but grows up with the cast. i return in sweet life on deck to visit for a cruise momentarily.
as for other castings, i was thinking a lot of disney based shows. after a few years my contract will end and i changed my shtick from childhood sweetheart on stage to having to play a young tween character on stage. later having to do teen roles which i still do to this day. specific shows aside from the suite life franchise have still been undecided however. i may just watch old shows for the sake of nostalgia and form my opinions there.
i intend for it to be multiple shifts each depending on age range of myself.

𖦹°⭒˚ edith finch dr 𖦹°⭒˚

yes, the game what remains of edith finch. it is a rather sad but sweet game in a bittersweet way. if you haven't heard of it, go play it or watch a game play or skip to the next section because there will be spoilers for it. i suppose they can be classified as spoilers.
so the game itself talks about a girl who visits the home of her old family that she hadn't visited since childhood. every room in the house belongs to a dead relative and every member in her family is dead. going all the way with her great grandma to her mom and brothers. her uncles, cousins, grandpa, great uncles, great aunts, they're all dead. all siblings died in childhood except for one that lasted long enough to have and raise a child. at least carry one into adulthood. if they had multiple children, all siblings aside from one died. that one could have a child and continue the legacy but probably die shortly after. the average age of living in this family is nineteen.
so, with all of that said, why would i want to insert myself into a story that is essentially made to die due to the curse that the family has? well, by the end of the game, the girl we play as through most of the story dies. she was pregnant with a child and died through childbirth. the ending shows that the child did in fact make it to adulthood.
this exposition was long enough but now for the shifting scripting part. i wanted to expand upon the story and basically shift to be the son that edith left behind. edith has a brother who ran away and went missing instead of died and he lived long enough to have a child too. i want to script that i meet said uncle and said cousin that i have. we return to the house together and explore it since i was given the house for inheritance and visit the graves. to give said uncle closure.

🍙 tokyo ghoul dr 🍙

i would wanna work for the anti ghoul association. either that or i plan to make a spin off reality to this reality. basically i own these mini trinket masks that if the user wears, they get a kagune. they can use it to fight. then they can use the weapon to attack. after they remove their mask, they can't eat foods or drink liquids that aren't water or coffee until an hour is up for the powers to calm down.
this is just a quick brainstorm of an idea. i find the ideas of the powers that ghouls have to be super cool.

⋆˚ʚɞ newsies dr ⋆˚ʚɞ

it was one of the first musicals i ever listened to. i haven't listened to it in a while but i still remember it fondly. i don't have any plans or ideas of shifting there. i could either shift to be a character in the plot or an actor. this could correlate with my child actor dr even. jeez, my waiting room is gonna get real crowded soon haha.

not much to say about this other than i wanna shift here. it would be cool to. i recently got into the show so now i want to shift to it. it's not a priority though until i script it properly or at the very least, have a general idea about it.

ᥫ᭡ guardian angel dr ᥫ᭡

a reality in which i am a guardian angel. i really enjoy helping and protecting people. i wish to guide others throughout the course of life and beyond. as a spiritual person, i find this dr to be a very comforting and calming dr. just the idea of watching over someone.

these are quite a lot of drs that i wrote. again, majority of these are wishful thinking. however, i think that's i may have to waver between or cut back on a few of these haha. probably should narrow it down as to not overwhelm myself again like last time.

My husband (34M) and I (32F) have been together for 6 years and now have a 10 month old baby. I moved out here to the Bay Area from the east coast for him and our life together. I feel as is I have made a lot of sacrifices on my end and am starting to become resentful towards my husband and in laws. For background context I come from an immigrant family raised poor and have done very well for myself. I was the first one in my entire extended family to go to college and still the only one to be a collegiate athlete. I have worked since I was 14 at any hosting/waitressing gig that I could find. To this day I still help support my family financially as most eldest children of immigrants do. Regardless I managed to save up 250k by age 27. I fell in love with my husband at that age and decided to move out to him after a 1 1/2 year of making long distance work. We were both on the same page of what we wanted in life with family etc. My now husband however is a white male with a relatively privileged background in comparison. Moving 3000 miles from everything I knew was hard for sure but I jumped in and made it work and found a way. After moving to california I found a good paying job in a new industry/career I wanted to pursue after only 3 months. And quickly in 5 years I am now able to make annually what I had originally saved up. As I’m sure everyone knows affording living in California is no easy feat but with my large lump savings it has allowed us to become home owners. After having a baby however the stress of finances and reliable help has heightened. Day care for a 40 hour work week is 3000-4000 a month in my area, and as hard as I’ve researched there is nothing (and I wish I was exaggerating) under 2900 a month. Before taxes are taken out that is easily the equivalent of a 60-70k job. My mother in law is a retired pre school teacher of almost 40 years. Part of the reasoning of my move was to have my MIL around to help raise our babies. She seems like a perfect fit right? We weighed out all 3 options, move to him, move to me, or move somewhere new entirely. We both wanted to be close to family and decided that my husbands place would be the most ideal. He also kind of guilt tripped me into agreeing that since they were older than my parents and its best to spend more time with them as we‘ll have more time with my mom later. My MIL however is the most passive aggressive person I have ever met, BUT ONLY TO ME! She has 2 sons and I am married to the youngest. She doesn’t have a good relationship with her other daughter in law but would literally suck her d*** to get her approval. I have always gone above and beyond to be kind and giving to her. In comparison to her other daughter in law I am a complete 180. She has a key and an open door policy to my place, I converse and spend time with her for hours and I constantly cook and or buy dinner for them on a weekly basis. I am thoughtful and buy all the family’s presents for all holidays and birthdays. When the men are around she is the sweetest thing but when its just us, always throws the most jabs at me. From saying things like “oh my you sure you’re not going to break your ankle in those or are you just trying to get attention” “wow more food are you trying to make me fat/out do me?” “Is that new, ive never seen it, do you have a shopping addiction he he” To even “I'm not sure we need you around here making us look bad you sure you don’t miss the east coast?” I take it in the chin with a smile on my face and always change the subject as I was always taught to not talk back to my elders. My husband told that she was going to take care of the baby once its time for me to go back to work. Weeks before that time came she started talking about how busy she was with volunteering and sending daycare recommendations our way as a hint. When her and my husband had that talk everything seemed fine as she started watching the baby 5x a week. Im the one who does the drop off and pick up however and I have to hear it every day 2x a day. To her son she only says how happy and lucky she is to get to spend time with her granddaughter etc. To me she is saying how it takes up so much of her time and its boring watching a baby. My husband doesn’t even believe me. After sacrificing my family (which I miss so deeply) my friends, and even my passion in life which was coaching youth sports just to jump in the corporate bs world because I recognized quickly that’s what it would take to live comfortably out here, IM DRAINED. All my money, time, efforts and energy have gone into him and his family pretty much and I can’t even get the support I was promised. Honestly it would have been easy for me to just buy a house straight up for 250k on the east coast have no mortgage, just coach and make a little money but it was what made me happy, and have my mom around who would happily help with our babies around. Instead I’ve given it all to this man for this situation and for my MIL to constantly complain about “how much i do for you” instead of recognizing how much I’ve done for her son. It infuriates me. My mother would view this as a privilege not a burden and cries every time we have to FaceTime. My MIL has asked me to ”take a day or two off work every week” or “make sure you try to be here by 2 when my shows starts” and I’m at a breaking point. I’ve been sneaking into work late and getting out early for months now just to ease her load. But I’m struggling at work and it’s noticeable in my results now. I also make more money then my husband by 6 figures and have the financial pressures on my back. One day I snapped back with “that’s something you're gonna need to talk to your son about” and all hell broke loose. My husband came home pissed that I had said so many derogatory things to his mom, shamed her for not being a good enough caretaker, the works. She then said she “needed space” and I took a week off work in order to take care of the baby. I went to try and smooth things over with her after a couple days and found her incredibly hammered at 9am in the morning. Stumbling on her words and feet my FIL came out looking mortified and tried to hide her back in her room. I figured she was upset and left it at that only to try to go back the next morning TO THE SAME THING. After talking to my husband he finally tells me that she is a struggling alcoholic and has been for 50 years! He says “but she’s a functioning alcoholic so she just needs to get this intense period out of her system she’ll bounce back“ The rage and disbelief I had with both the situation and my husband was out of control. Was she drinking while watching the baby? You knew about this and put our daughter in that situation? To save money on daycare you let our daughter there knowingly? Functioning wtf?! Was all her BS a way to get distance so she could drink? The more I thought back there were definitely days where I just thought she was more loopy than others, was that her drinking a moderate amount.? After talking to my SIL it was and she has been drinking every day without a day off for the last 20 years and that’s why they had a tainted relationship. I didn‘t talk to my husband for days and started looking for other homes on the east coast closer to my family. After a couple days I sat him down and only said this.. “Here are other homes we can move to or you get another job to cover the bills or I’m reporting all of you to CPS and there is no more us and our family” It feels harsh, so Am I the A****** for bluntly dropping this ultimatum on my husband?

We all know that since the 80's the black metal scene was producing some really great music, and specially in the 90's with the second wave and of course all of the media the music and popularity of the genre got better.
But the world has changed over the course of 30 years and now we're on 2024, where artists and bands can make high quality music from their homes, and where we can find pretty much an infinite amount of black metal albums for free without even having to go to a record store. All of this makes the whole competition much harder, and also kind of saturates the market, because there are just too many options.
Here i ask mostly for those that lived the 90's era, what made ex.: Emperor's "In the Nightside Eclipse", Dissection's "Storm of the Light's Bane", Immortal's "At the Heart of Winter", or Ulver's "Bergtatt" classic black metal albums? what exactly differed them from any other record on the store? was it just the music? was it the artwork? was it the story and mysticism behind the bands? was it that maybe your friend has exchanged a cassette with you of them? was it the production quality? what it was?
I don't know exactly which reason was responsible for that, but a lot of them possibly don't work anymore...
Back in the day we had all of that mysticism and mysteriousness with black metal because you really didn't knew much about it, there was a lot of rumors and etc. - but now we have infinite information about it.
We can sure emulate the production quality on those records i named, and we all like some blue artwork with cold mountains and mystical creatures or fortresses on it. But is that enough?
Or was the music that actually got worse? Here i may sound stupid and honestly i don't know a lot of modern black metal, but i do strongly dislike when it sounds overproduced and generic asf, and a lot of modern bands i tried listening to nowadays sound like copies of classic bands, with not really that much of originality. (not all)
The point is... I want to bring up this discussion about the black metal scene because i really do fucking love this genre, and sure, black metal didn't died or anything, but the magic of it kind of did. I do have a band, and i want to know everything i can possibly do to bring back all of these good characteristics of black metal.
I aim those records i named before production quality and kind of similar artwork (prototype), with a songwriting very inspired on of course heavy metal (mostly black and death), but also classical music and alternative genres like shoegaze, midwest emo, gothic etc.
Concluding, i want to know everyone's opinions on what can we do to bring back all of these good characteristics like the mysticism and mysteriousness, the production quality (not the absolute lo-fi but also not over produced), the artwork, the overall feeling that the scene had, etc.

Gordon Moore, the de facto head of DOSC Computerized Ordinance Board's "Circuit Breakers". watched as engineers scurried about the bay of the workshop. Tia Baisho, the chief engineer of the Kinetic Movement Board, ordered the workers to and fro as final checks were completed on Project Adam.
Gordon had mixed feelings as he studied the culmination of his work with MOSFET transistors, work he admitted was deftly applied by Ms. Baisho in a stroke of mechanical genius. However, the notion of Project Adam didn't sit well in his stomach, a feeling shared by his fellow Circuit Breakers. On the one hand, Project Adam was a major breakthrough in research and the first of its kind, on the other it almost seemed to be an affront to God.
The creation, the machine, that the KMB swooned over, stared blankly out across the floor, its head motionless as an engineer tweaked a panel upon the side of its head. A dull red glow emanated from its single ocular device as three sets of hands tinkered with it. The creation, Adam, as the KMB team had so called it, perhaps sacrilegiously, was on and "alive" in the most twisted sense of the word. Its ocular device registered everything that passed before it, feeding a terminal elsewhere in the workshop.
This test was one of many, but the first open to the military command. Above the workshop on a catwalk stood some general surrounded by a cadre of steely officers and swooning DOSC administrators. The DOSC admins seemed to talk nonstop as Gordon observed the military party, no doubt trying to pry the general's scowl from his face and illicit some positive emotion that the man kept locked away.
After what felt like a long stall, the KMB engineers fizzled away to posts behind ballistic glass shields. This brought a small smirk to Gordon's lips. They too, deep down in their uncertainty, feared their creation, wondering if they had taken science too far. At the base of the issue, Gordon acquiesced to the fact that regardless of the moral or social quandary raised by Adam, he, no it, was still undoubtedly a marvel to behold and he quietly reveled in the fact that he not only had a hand in it's creation but too that he would witness its first live testing.
A single technician rolled out a cart in front of Adam. Upon the cart laid a M3 submachine gun. The weapon was unloaded, however, accompanying it were two loaded magazines. Once the technician had retreated behind the safety of the ballistic glass, Baisho sounded the beginning of the test.
At a terminal behind Adam sat another technician. He began to clack away at the device, inputting commands. After a brief delay, Adam lurched to action. Bulky and halting, Adam's movements showcased its rudimentary design, a symptom of technological limitations and the first foray into such technology. However, the automation displayed no issues taking grip of the weapon and with slow but deliberate action, took a magazine in its freehand, sliding the metal box home.
Racking the SMG back, and assuming a hip-firing position, the room grew so silent Gordon swore he could hear the general above draw an anticipating breath. The controlling technician looked to Baisho for permission and she nodded her head at him. The click of the safety selector was heard briefly before thirty .45cal rounds slammed down range at paper targets set up before the test.
Gordon felt both pride and nausea as he bore witness to the machine. Stanced one leg slightly further back than the other, the SMG did not rattle or shake as it would in an ordinary man's hand. The steel grip of Adam as well as specialized servos and shock absorbers kept the grease gun firmly on target as it emptied the magazine. Anyone on the receiving end would have received a massive amount of lead relative to military standards on accuracy and precision with such a weapon.
The magazine clunked to the floor as Adam released it from its well and picked up the second, ignoring the spent casings that now littered the cart before it. Just as slow and deliberate as before, Adam loaded the second magazine and flipped the selector switch from safe to fire. However, this time, the machine showed off its abilities. Unloading part of the magazine on the left-most target, Adam swiveled right, legs remaining stationary as the torso turned, and unloaded the remaining rounds at the right-most target.
Just as before, Adam's aim was tight and true, the automation's crushing grip keeping it's weapon unnaturally stable. The whirl of the machine's servos sounded as it straightened, aligning its torso with its forward-facing hips before dropping the second magazine and setting the SMG down on the cart.
While the most impressive display was over, Adam's test would continue for several more minutes, KMB showing of its ability to conduct mundane tasks such as moving boxes, ammo cases, pushing the very cart its weapon laid on, and several movement patterns among other tasks. Tasks that displayed Adam's ability to conduct more than just warfare, tests that gave Gordon hope for peaceful applications.
Gordon took another look at the general above. The man's face remained the same but in the dim light upon the catwalks, Gordon could see a glint in his eye. DOSC, it would seem, had once more done the impossible and the face of technology would be forever changed.

The resistance didn't last long. The southerners abandoned their shield wall and laid down their spears after one charge, one engagement.
Rakko knew his men thirsted for blood shed. They had been baying for it in their rapid march the past five days. So quick that they caught the town off guard. The heads of the defenders were taken off. Paraded amongst one another. Some of the more zealous kneeled northward muttering prayers after the effecient bloodshed was finished. King Rakko watched distantly as they entered the broken wooden gates, the town was full.
Down here not every man was a soldier, craftsmen aplenty, women and children. Most on their knees by their stone houses of their impressive two floors.
'Any who wish to couple or fight longer I suggest you come find me as your victim' he boomed at his men watching their excitement change back to discipline.
'Loot what provisions you can and then we move on,'
A woman let out a cry throwing herself at the king in the silent marketsquare.
'Sangar, transate for me, tell them we come south for victory. Tell them the men that follow us come to exact vengence. They should abandon this place, immediately. Surrender will not be an option'
The giant nodded and spoke that femine tongue.
The men did as they were told keeping wachither in line taking what grain and dried fish they could. The locals, trembled and moved around the settlement like field mice.
How had the Archipeligo caused such casualties with such a timid culture he wondered. The fish tasted discipicable, food from the ocean was a travesty, but Rakko knew he would need every ounce of strength he could steel.
'My king, this one here speaks our tongue, a teacher says he can help us with information' Sangar grunted his hand on the shoulder of an elderly bearded man in pristine purple robe. He did not bear fear on his face, excitement perhaps it was. They would have to be running again soon, they had to keep ahead of the rest of the tribes and get to Ketil.
'Speak then'
'I am a great professor, and here is a great university, where only the sons of Councilmen and governors send their sons'
The old man paused as if he had just solved a great mystery.
'Yes?'
The teacher frowned 'well, you can use them as hostages in your campaign, get lords to bow to you easier. They're hiding in the university and the crowds, I'd be happy to point them out to you, if only I am compensated correctly'
Rakko stared at the teachet until the old man had to look away.
'These are children?'
'Yes, they go back to their families at fifteen'
'And why would you think I would do such a thing'
The old man stuttered 'well from our studies of the barbarians histage taking has given you alot of wealth'
'I've no need of coin. And the world has no need for ill intentioned teachers. You are to plant seeds for the shade of the youth in the garden as a teacher. I shall plant you in the earth this day as a reminder for any who wishes to betray their students in the days that come'
The proffessor, had his mouth stuffed with his manhood and was left in a rushed ooen grave.
The Soot men ran. South, they ran hard under the sunlight, their squires trailing behind. A day later outside of Ketil, Rakko saw they were not the only ones rushing to take this key piece. Dust was being kicked up in the valley below them into a thick cloud.
'Armour on!' He boomed 'you came to make war, today you can show me if you can live uo to it!'
The men cheered.

There was an early 2000s anime I watched around the same time I was watching Air Gear and Busou Renkin that was also pretty conceptually similar to those two shows. I'm unsure if they are from nearby seasons, but that's the only comparative line I can draw.
What I remember distinctively about this show is that the main character was some sort of underground gang fighter in a world with powers, and gathered a bunch of his allies into this subway or something in order to fight against a suppressive/oppressive racially subjugating/separating world government-esque type of organization. Then almost instantly, all of them died pretty gruesomely (at least to my poorly remembering memory).. Some things happen, and I think he ends up joining the enemy organization as one of their agents.
It had a very big grassroots vs big org vibe like Air Gear and Busou Renkin. The main character was pretty conceptualized around red And I think his weapon or power was yellowish-orange like Busou Renkin and Air Gear's accenting colours as well. The enemy organization was blue, his rival from this organization was the classical well-kept black haired cool guy. The show ended with the main character who is this red spunky punk type of dude fighting the deuteragonist who is the Sasuke-esque character and fading into the sky as the show ends.
I found that this show has a reboot a few years back (don't know if the reboot was recent, just saw it uploaded to the streaming site used), but then I lost the tab and didn't note it at all. It's been decades since I saw this show, so it's pretty vague but I just keep coming back around to thinking about it every now and then.
Any thoughts about what the anime could be would be greatly appreciated!

I’m not familiar with reddit so forgive me if this post is too wordy or whatever. My boyfriend used to be a raging porn addict. He made passive comments about my body when he was addicted that I cant shake out of my damn head. He regrets saying those things to me know and claims he loves my body and its perfect but he still said those things so they must hold some truth. I’m 23F and I started working on a farm about a week ago. Most of my job experience in the past has been on farms/ranches. I have four coworkers here, two guys and two other girls, and we all are undergrads at the local university. I have always had a difficult time fitting in. One of my coworkers is my good friend and started at about the same time as me. He does not experience the same issues at our job that I do. No one at work seems to like me, while they took to him very quickly. On my first day, I got put with the two other girls. After we did a couple of chores, they drove the work vehicle around and parked behind different barns and scrolled on their phones for the rest of the day. I do not like getting in trouble, so this made me a little anxious because it felt like we should be doing something, but I just went with the flow. The next day was when things took a turn. I was leaving to get breakfast and asked the guys if they wanted anything (the girls had already left). I brought them back the food they requested and they never ate it. I don’t have a lot of money so it kind of stung but I let it slide without mentioning it. We were having a work lunch, and I was put in charge of a side dish. I started prepping it and the girls walked in and made a snarky comment telling me that I was doing it wrong (I was literally just cutting vegetables) and then snickered amongst themselves. I tried to just act normal and friendly but everyone was kind of ignoring me and I felt awkward so I just went off by myself and didn’t eat. I tried not to make a big deal about it or act like I was in a bad mood, I just said “I’m fine, thank you though!” when my manager poked his head out to ask if I was eating. I kind of realized at that point that these girls probably didn’t like me, but I wasn’t sure of everyone else. Since then, I feel like the two girls I work with hate my guts, and the other guy just doesn’t care. These are a few things that have happened so far -we were moving some cattle. One of the girls and I were standing at one end of the alley where our boss told us to go. I guess she wanted to go help everyone else or something, but she told me to give her my flag. I didn’t really want to so I kind of just stood there and didn’t say anything. She grabbed it out of my hand. They were wild cattle to begin with but one calf was giving us some trouble and kept getting past us and running into the pen. At one point it ran past one of the guys and he just grabbed it and started trying to walk it out of the pen, which was pretty hilarious. Him and the other guy had a good hold of him, so I walked over to take a little video. When the girl saw me coming, she ran over to the calf and grabbed it and snapped at me “Can you help us instead of taking a video!?” I genuinely didn’t feel like it would take four people to hold a calf and by that point they were basically out of the pen and closing the gate anyways. Regardless, her condescending comment in front of everyone made me feel really embarrassed and I apologized. -After that, we went to do some chores. Everyone except her got out of the vehicle to work and she stayed sitting in there and played on her phone. -all of my coworkers speak Spanish but I don’t speak it very well. I feel left out when we’re all in a group but they only speak Spanish so I can’t join in the conversation -my boss has been showing me how to run the tractors and such. Every time he’s teaching me, the girls drive up and watch from their vehicle and I can see them laughing. They’ve been here several months now though and neither of them have learned to operate equipment so idk -I am not working with the girls so much now because my boss has been having the more experienced guy show me stuff. He is very monotone with me but I think that’s just his personality. Except I do see him talking and laughing with the other girls but I guess he knows them better. I tried to be friendly with him but he didn’t bite. -When I do work with the girls, if I ask for clarification on something, they just go “Um…giggle.” Or roll their eyes and sigh -Today, all five of us were in the shop. We needed to go tend to something. I was trying to get into the vehicle (they could see me, it was an open side by side) and they backed up and drove away. It was too far to walk so I just sat there, waiting. -They never came back. It turned out that they were all hanging out elsewhere until work was done. When that time rolled around, I wanted to check that everything was in order and I was good to go. No one ever came back to where I was and everyone had gone home without saying anything. -Every time I walk up to join the conversation, they all show negative body language: turning their backs to me, not making eye contact, etc. -I generally just feel like I’m not in the loop. They never really tell me what we’re doing or they just start walking off without me. Everyone else seems to know what’s going on, including the other new person.
I don’t know what’s wrong with me. My boss seems to like me fine and I often ride around with him and help him do stuff. The owner of the cattle we’re feeding came up to introduce himself to me and we had a nice chat. My professors are fond of me. My landlord, who I work for also, says she appreciates my help and she’s glad she has someone responsible around. I don’t understand why people in my age group don’t like me. I used to work at Hooter’s and it was a very similar vibe, I quit because my coworkers just couldn’t stand me. Am I doing something wrong? I know I shouldn’t worry about what other people thing, but deep down I am still a lonely little girl who just wants to be liked and have friends. I grew up in a very rural area without a lot of other kids around, and I’ve always felt like an outsider in friend groups. Sorry everyone for the rant. I just feel very alone in the world at the moment. I’m older than the average college freshman and don’t really relate to most people at school, I don’t see my parents much, and I live alone. I love my job but it’s mentally exhausting trying to get my coworkers to not hate me. They don’t have to like me, but people acting like I’m stupid and actively excluding me hurts my feelings. It’s like everyone can tell that there’s something off or weird about me but I don’t know what. I can do my job perfectly fine but the social interactions are incredibly difficult.
I am not a pick me or a kiss ass or anything like that. I just want to get along with everybody and I genuinely like working hard and helping.

Since we all have watched the drama multiple times already. This bugs me the most everytime I get to ep 14 and haein refusing surgery. Hyunwoo and the rest of the family begging her to go on with the surgery because they want her to live as long as possible. Hyunwoo promised to stay by her side and create new memories together and fall in love with each other all over again. He is practically telling her he'll make her fall in love with him AGAIN no matter what. 1.5 millimeters of OJ’s blood went missing from its vial. Thanos Peratis, the nurse who withdrew his blood, initially testified that he withdrew 8 millimeters. He took that back when only 6.5 appeared and the prosecution suggested he was mistaken. About a decade later he admitted to William Dear that he was certain he withdrew 8 millimeters because it was the amount he had drawn from patients all of his career, but he was close to retirement and had health problems so he didn’t want to cause any trouble.
The glove found at Bundy contained none of OJ’s DNA. The other glove found at Rockingham only contained his DNA in the area where Collin Yamauchi testified to spilling OJ's reference blood sample while handling it.
An identical knit cap matching the knit cap found lying on the ground next to one of the gloves was found in Nicole’s house. Those caps likely belonged to Sydney and Justin Simpson.
Two different people, John Meraz and William Blasini, encountered the Bronco at the lot where it had been impounded days after the murders. They both looked inside it for blood and testified they saw none. There was also only 1/8th of one drop of blood ever found inside it.
New York Times best selling author and journalist Stephen Singular was connected by an anonymous source within the LAPD about the case a few weeks after the murders. He was told Mark Fuhrman made an undocumented trip to Rockingham in the early morning hours after the murders looking for evidence that would incriminate OJ. Rosa Lopez, a housekeeper for OJ’s next door neighbor, testified to hearing men’s voices coming from the yard of Rockingham in the early morning.
The source told Singular that Fuhrman used a broken piece of fence from Bundy to pick up one of the two gloves found and placed it in a blue plastic bag. Next, he was told Fuhrman removed the glove from the plastic bag and planted it at Rockingham. A broken piece of fence was eventually found at Bundy and a blue plastic bag was found at Rockingham, and both were introduced as evidence in the trial.
He was also told EDTA would be found in some of the blood evidence if tested, lab technicians had mishandled OJ’s blood samples, vials of OJ’s, Nicole’s, and Ron's blood were in possession of an LAPD detective for several hours before being booked into evidence, and that Fuhrman had been acquainted with Nicole in some way.
Singular relayed this information from the source to the defense team and was in communication with them for awhile. Pretty much all of it checked out, including an investigation conducted by the LAPD's Internal Affairs Division which revealed that Fuhrman was overheard by other LAPD officers bragging about being intimate with Nicole and seeing her boob job before she was murdered.
There were 17 fingerprints lifted from the Bundy crime scene that didn’t belong to OJ or any of the police officers involved in the case.
Brett Cantor ran a nightclub called The Dragonfly where Ron worked for him as a waitepromoter. Nicole was also a regular at the club. He was murdered a year before them in almost exactly the same way, by being stabbed repeatedly in the upper body and being nearly decapitated. Judge Ito ruled the defense team could review his case. His murder remains unsolved.
Casimir Sucharski, a friend of OJ's, was murdered alongside two female companions in his house in Florida by people with machine guns two weeks after Ron and Nicole were murdered.
Michael Nigg was friends with Ron and also worked at the Mezzaluna restaurant. He was murdered a year later in 1995 by being shot in the head after refusing to give his money to two men outside an ATM. The men who shot him didn't end up taking his money. His murder remains unsolved.
Not saying these murders are necessarily related to each other but it does make you wonder since all of these people reportedly led similar lifestyles which involved the use of cocaine. Faye Resnick, a cocaine addict, was also living with Nicole just days before the murders.
If you listen to the full 1993 911 call, OJ was mostly yelling about drugs and hookers being in the house. When police officers responded to the call, Nicole told the responding officers that OJ hadn’t hit her in four years. After the 1989 domestic violence incident, OJ added an addendum to their prenuptial agreement which stated that if he struck Nicole again, she would‘ve been entitled to a settlement of more than 5 million dollars.
OJ wasn't scheduled to be in LA during that week. He had been busy working and made a last minute decision to come back for Sydney's recital. Video taken of him afterwards shows him in a good mood, kissing his kids and the Brown’s goodbye.
Christian Reichardt spoke with OJ on the phone an hour before the murders and testified his demeanor was jovial and not indicative of a simmering murderous rage.
His telephone records also show he made phone calls trying to set up dates with a few models, one of which he told he was unattached to anyone. If he was in a jealous rage over Nicole, why was he trying to date other women?
After the bodies were discovered, Sydney told the police she heard her mommy (Nicole) fighting & crying with her best friend (Faye Resnick) on the phone earlier that night.
Sydney was planning to have a sleepover that night with one of her friends. According to family and friends who attended the recital and dinner, OJ was aware of this. Committing a murder with all those extra witnesses and the possibility of having the kids hurt or things getting out of control, in addition to having a flight to catch, doesn’t make sense.

So my NK (just turned 2) has recently decided that she is absolutely terrified of bugs, or anything that even remotely resembles a bug. She has always had a mild dislike of them, but now she is absolutely crippled with fear. We're not sure what triggered the change; she has never been bitten or stung by an insect that we know of, and MB claims she has never reacted negatively to any bugs when NK is watching (MB doesn't like bugs either).
When she sees a bug-even the tiniest, most borderline microscopic gnat in existence, or even just a random speck of dirt on the floor that looks like it might be a bug-she screams at the top of her lungs and says "oh bug, oh bug" over and over again.
It's heartbreaking, because she has always loved the outdoors and still wants to go outside and play, but she ends up being paralyzed with fear every time. Today I took her to the playground and she spent the whole time screaming and freaking out about bugs. She barely played at all, and we left early.
I've tried telling her that bugs don't hurt us, and that bugs live outside and it's their home. I've even let a few little bugs crawl on me to show her they won't hurt us, but even that hasn't really worked. I saw someone say giving them a spray bottle of water and telling them it's "bug spray" helps, but I don't know if she will quite grasp the concept.
Has anyone else dealt with this issue?

nothing more annoying than someone texting other people and only stringing you along in case those other people turn into freaks. i realistically only want to talk to one person at a time, but don’t be afraid to message me after a while because you might still luck out.
