My brother's car got vandalized last thursday, we all have no idea why this happened or who could have done this. The police is stating there is not enough evidence to make a good case or take it into investigation. Since then my brother (and his wife/children) have been in fear of them returning and or worse actions from these people. I really want to help them but i dont know how. TL;DR - Here's what I'm asking

I'm brand new to pre-workouts and quite new to strength/resistance training. I'm curious to hear from those of you with much more experience, how you personally define a successful pre-workout ("this one is really working well for me") And, conversely, what signs do you look for to indicate that you need something stronger for your pre-workout? ("This one really isn't working out for me because I XXXX") Also, how long should you give yourself to get 'settled in' to the experience of taking a particular pre-workout before considering an alternative?

My background / workout regimen

I started weightlifting / resistance training three months ago. Working with a great trainer 4 days/wk. My trainer breaks down each day's strength/resistance training sessions into three groups of exercises. Each of the three groups has 3 separate exercises. Each exercise has 4 sets of between 10-15 reps. With 4 sessions a week, we hit legs, glutes, back, shoulders, triceps, biceps and core. Each session ends with 10-15 minute high intensity conditioning session (quickly rotating between stations.)
I also do at least an hour of steady-state cardio, on my own time, 6-7 days a week and a yoga/mobility class once a week.
I'm also spending some time with a nutritionist to figure out my macros. I've estimated them, but I have free access to a registered dietitian, so I might as well make use of it!
I'm male. Early 40s. With the usual goal -- lose fat, gain muscle. I'm also a LADA diabetic, so healthy A1C / blood glucose is of course important.

This is my first week on pre-workout and I'm trying to take stock of how it's affecting energy and performance on my strength/resistance days. After doing a lot of reading on here and elsewhere (including super informative posts like this one from u/naderq), I decided to go with Transparent Labs' Bulk Black (with my own addition of agmatine, per nader's recommendation)

The reason I'm asking about evaluating your pre-workout

My first two days taking Bulk Black have been interesting. I consider my workouts very challenging. I really have to push to get those last sets completed. And, by the end of the 10-15 mins of the HIIT circuit training at the end, I am sweaty and out of breath. I've only had two sessions with Bulk Black so far, but both times, I didn't really notice anything different during my workouts. What I did notice was that my energy was much stronger post-workout. I wasn't limping to my car, but walking quickly. And I didn't feel like I needed to take a nap after. Which is great. Just not sure if I'm experiencing an impact during my workouts... yet. Note: while this may change as the months progress, right now, none of the weight / resistance exercise I'm doing are to exhaustion, they are a specific number of sets and reps which are all to be completed.

Hello, i Need advice because i got terrible insomnia And i dont know what to do. Im not sure where to start As i really buried in my head in this tired state I think the more noticeable problems started like 3 ago when i started using Meth (methamphetamine) .After the high i woke up 6 Hours later not Being able to sleep again. Even if i was up 3 days straight i only slepit 6 rarely 8-9 Hours And woke up in a conpletely destroyed state.i also remember when i was younger , before using drugs , i had similiar sleep where i slept 5-6 Hours And then i Went back to sleep for another 2-3 Hours , but after waking up the sleep after that felt i was like half-awake. Im not sure if thats true or my mind just made that up , but there was some problem of that kind for sure. Since i started doing Meth i feel it started worsening. When i was comming Down , i started to feel pulsating sense through my whole body , i even feel my head Is moving/ticking because of this. I also see it when i look at my Belly , Its pulsating like there was the heart. This started like 2 years ago maybe. Right Now im 1+ year almost clean. During this year i used like 4-5 times , i know i fucked it up because i was drunk And chased it, but i dont think it has any relation to my current problems. Like 8 months ago when i finished School And started working, i realised im fucked up. I can't really sleep whenever i want no matter how tired i am. I Need to be up a long time enough to feel extremely tired And be calm enough to sleep. Its like 18 Hours i Need to be up before i can get some sleep. When i fall asleep i wake up after 2-6 Hours And usually can't fall back asleep. When i lay Down i feel the pulsating through my whole body And in my head And it prevents me from getting Calm enough to sleep, also at any position i lay Down i Always feel unconfortable. Sometimes when im able to fall asleep again , im in a half sleep state where anything Wakes me up So easily And i immediately get up And Have thoughts like i just laid Down with my eyes closed the whole night. I feel completely destroyed, no matter if i sleep 3 or 6 Hours that night. I wake up with extremely dark circles under my eyes , i got weins visible all around my eyes. This Is killing me every day And i got suicide thoughts because of this. Anyone had similiar problems And solved them ? For my health condition i got diagnosed adhd when i was young , i declined to take any pills for it, it was at like 5-9 years old. I Felt pretty normal back then. I also started drinking kratom like year ago. I thought Its the kratom causing this but i completely stopped Like month ago And nothing has Changed , i just feel more like a zombie , because the kratom at least helped me to stop feeling the dark circles i Have under my eyes. Because of this problem i started drinking Beer , like 4-5 bears a day . I also Smoke weed since i was 14. I tried stopping for 3 weeks And nothing has Changed.
