I am 28 years old, Italian, lucky enough to be born and lived in a beautiful Italian city. My family has some savings and my parents are apprently in good health (i feel like i don't deserve these fortunes). The problem is me. My adolescence was a disaster, my father has always been limiting and overprotective, i sufferend from social isolation, video game addiction, physical dysmorphia, severe acne and bullying. I was left and cheated by my first and only girlfriend at the age of 20 and during the same year I had a long lasting physical problem that resulted in OCD, this led to another 3 years of social isolation and worsening of my psycho-physical state. After three years I meet a girl who infected me with a bacterium and molluscum contagiosum and then two another years of covid. 25 years old. I graduated in something i later discovered I have no interest in (bacherol degree) at the age of 27, two weeks later I went to a psychiatrist who diagnoses me with autism and ADHD. I havent noticed any benefits from therapy (I will met a new psychiatrist on tuesday). During this year i attempted some jobs but I never felt like i fit in. I have traveled very little, i spent 70% of my life in my room, I have attended few parties, I have a principle of social anxiety, I am addicted to social media and cannabis and I still live with my parents.
The only thing I have managed to do in 28 years are: improve my muscle mass through physical training, teach myself to play guitar, overcome the fear of driving a car, meet some girls (I have had sex with 5 girls in my life), find out the roots of my mental problems, forgive my father for his behavior while I was growing up.
I don't know what to do with my life. I feel lost. I feel old. The weight of time, the feelings of guilt towards my parents and my loved ones and the fear of the future are destroying my psyche. Suffering all these years has led to a compromise in my mental ability, sometimes I forget words, people's names and I don't know how to do basic mathematical calculations.
Part of me is thinking about continuing to study for a master's degree. But I don't know if it's worth it. What I would like to do is doing something to help others, but with my degree I can't do any of this. With a master's degree I can maybe become a teacher, which I might enjoy, but its a long jorney.
Things that MAYBE i believe can improve my self-esteem: traveling, traveling alone, it ll sounds stupid but i would like to learn how to fight (but im a bit scared of fighting gym environment).
I feel unworthy of love. I feel its to late to change. I need some help, really. I need to change the way a i interpret the world.

I just wanted people to know that the Goggle 4 U website works great and in many ways they have the best prices on regular glasses. However, it appears that customs doesn't like them because they did not pass on my large order for delivery. It took about 2 months to receive them. My face looks pretty androgynous but not in the hot way. I look like the combination of a little boy and a women. On top of that I have a soft jawline so my side profile is atrocious. No matter what bathroom I’d walk into you’d question if I was a women or a man. When I dress feminine I’m told I look like a trans women by one of my friends. When I dress masculine I get told I look like a little boy. As of right now, my face is still a little bit chubby, and I’m kind of skinny fat.
I’m trying hard to be able to get even more fit so I at least look bearable to look at. I hate that I complained for 2 years abt my looks and didn’t make a change until this school year, so I practically wasted my teenage years being ugly. But what even is the point now tbh I’ll always be deemed unattractive no matter what I do. I wish that what was ugly about me was simply weight or acne. I’m jealous of people who are for that reason because once you loose it, you’re pretty. What is ugly about me cannot be changed unless I get surgery. Id like to consider getting it some day, but then when I’d look in the mirror it wouldn’t really be me. Or, what if it makes me worse?

Exhausted and just need to vent. I've been having debilitating period pains (vomiting, passing out) since I was 15. I'm now 33. I've had multiple hospital visits and ultrasounds. No diagnosis but I'm pretty sure it's endometrios. I've never been given another explanation for what could cause this much pain every month. I've been told my choices are go on the pill or continue to "manage" with pain medication (prescription codeine which makes me nauseous every month and sometimes isn't even effective). I've been told by a doctor that, unless I am trying to get pregnant and have trouble conceiving after 1 year, they won't do a laparoscopy. My GP and multiple people have told me "it will get better when you have a baby." I do want to have a child one day but I shouldn't need to do that to stop experiencing excruciating pain. Also there is no evidence that childbirth alleviates severe dysmenorrhoea. I'm thinking of just saving up and getting a laparoscopy done privately.
Anyway, I'm just really, really tired of this disabling pain taking 2 days out of my life every month. If anyone has any tips on anything at all that might help with the pain, please share. My diet, exercise, and stress management are all very good. At the moment I need mefanemic acid and codeine combined to get through a period.

So, all the talk right now is FFIE, CRKN, and GWAV. I'm actually in all three and encourage you to stay in for AS LONG AS IT IS GOOD FOR YOU. But I want to talk about the importance of not going full port, and diamond-handing to a loss. There is ALWAYS a next FFIE. In all my years, I've seen so many I can't begin to estimate how many I've seen. As you play this game, you NEED to have stop losses set. You need to remember not to get greedy. Bank your profits, and be getting excited for your next play. Keeping an eye on what is coming up really helps keep you detached from the stock, so you don't get burned and left holding the bag.

So, some of the most shorted stocks currently, and my thoughts on each:
Sunpower SPWR
On this list because it is the most shorted (non-penny) stock with 95% short interest. At sub $3 and only 45 million shares, this is as squeezable as it gets. Any sort of squeeze would have to be from meme value as the financials of this company aren’t great. They haven’t met expected earnings in the past 5 quarters, and have actually done worse quarter after quarter.
If this found volume and a rabid community I’d be in… but I’m not touching this thing otherwise. This is a real “all or nothing” stock.
MicroCloud Hologram HOLO
Spend anytime on squeeze forums and youre gonna see this one. Another stock with insane (75%) short interest This company has shown multiple times over that it is capable of a run. Part of that is that the product that they are making is quite intriguing… the other part is that this stock has left a lot of bagholders in its wake. If there were call options available, I’d be buying far dated OTMs hand over fist, because at some point, this thing will explode again.
Childrens Place PLCE
Okay, so this has some fundamentals that could be interesting to some. Heavily in debt, with historically bad gross margins, and a panic sell off when they announced they had breached debt covenants, this stock has gone from over $100 post-pandemic, to roughly $12 today.
Why could it be intriguing? Mithaq capital purchased 7 million shares recently. Backed by the Saudis, and capable of offering better terms on back debt, this could be a takeoveturnaround story. Purely speculative, and high risk, I don't see a squeeze happening here anytime soon, but if messageboard chatter picked up, I’d be grabbing a lot more calls… when this goes, it’ll go fast.
B. Riley Financial RILY
At 56% shorted this is one of my top picks (#2), the one most primed for a squeeze, and I'm heavily in it.
This is also the first company on this list that has a clear path to an increase in stock price. For me personally, this is what I look for in an investment. I love a good squeeze, as it accelerates my profits, but I like betting on companies that are going to get me there regardless of the squeeze.
This company has many facets and if you want backstory, there are several good write ups/DDs available on Reddit. As it stands, despite turning around their slow quarters, and doing better as a business, short sellers have ramped up their positions? Why? Because there is an actual villain in this story. Marc Cahodes. He is an infamous short seller, with a personal grudge against this company, and the short sellers are not running off a functioning thesis. This is about destroying a company to soothe a slighted ego. Soon, short sellers will unwind their position, as the stock has pretty much found its base. A short squeeze in the near future could send this stock up into the $90 range.
Trupanion TRUP
39% short sold, this pet insurance company has recently come under attack by…it’s Marc Cahodes again. Marc did his usual tactic, doxing and harassing supporters, and accusing everybody in the business (down to the janitor) of fraud. However, despite these attacks, the company itself has mostly “Buy” ratings. The share price has slumped, due to bad Q1 earnings and the short attacks, but there is a new CEO and she is intent on increasing profitability, and decent quarterly results could pop this back up to historic $60 levels (+100%).
Cutera CUTR
This company makes hardware for treating acne and other dermatologic issues. 39% shorted this should be on your radar in early JULY. Listening to their earnings call was a lot to be excited about, if you could stand to listen to their hopium bullshit. Clearing up inventory, and debt, they have a lot of potential to have a strong Q2 showing. At $2 a share, I’ve gone ahead and made a small position, as this is might be the bottom.
Immunity Bio IBRX
OH. MY. GOD. I LOVE THIS STOCK. By far my #1 right now. Sitting at 39% shorted, I wouldn't be surprised to find that Merck is behind the shorting; trying to keep the stock price down so they can buy it out. This is a life saving cancer treatment. With recent FDA approval, this company sold 400 million in product ITS FIRST WEEK. With trials ongoing for multiple other uses, and a meeting with the FDA scheduled in June to get it fast tracked as a treatment for lung cancer. I have a $20 price target set for July. $40 by September.
There is honestly so much to say about this company, that I will write up a separate, in depth DD.
Novavax NVAX
If you were paying attention, you just watched this thing pop (260%) Is it done? Actually, yeah, Probably. I’ve read a lot of chatter about how it has a historic high of $300 without people factoring in its 20:1 reverse split. Robinhood needs to fix the UI, because a lot of people are tossing out good money. That said, with 33% short interest, a mild squeeze may happen for a few bucks.
Lucid LCID
A DPAC luxury EV maker on the most shorted list? Who would have thought?! Ok, so, I’ve had a chance now to drive a couple of these… and HOLY SHIT. I want this company to survive. I want one of these cars.
That said, yeah, I’m not putting more money into this. I’m putting it on this list because sometimes, great products fail. This is a prime example. Since first being wow’d by this car, the stock price has fallen 80%. Truthfully, if the Saudis walk away from Lucid, they're done. Don't fall in love with a stock.
AST Spacemobile ASTS
The lowest short interest on this list (28.3% which is still high as fuck!!!) is my #3 pick. And I’m in this bigly. This tech is so good, it’s literally going to change your life. Imagine, no place on Earth being without cell service. Why is it shorted? Delays, and Delays, and Delays. Go on over to the subreddit, and feel the general relief that everyone feels as launch is FINALLY nearing. If you are thinking of getting into this stock, do so before early July, as it nears major catalysts.

We haven’t had a lot of reddit money diaries lately and I was curious about how much I spent on her in the first 6 months, so I did this to tally up! I’ve done MD before so I’m just going to do a very quick summary here: I have a masters degree, in workforce last 2 years, I was making $100,000 til a layoff in late April. I have roughly $12k in retirement, $16k in checking, and $27k in savings. No debt. I adopted Cordelia 11/11/2023 and the bulk of expenses, though not all of them, are split with my sisteroommate. If not otherwise noted, assume the total was split 50/50 between us. In the interest of tracking full costs, I will only be noting the totals.
Upfront Costs/Adoption Story
I came in knowing I wanted an adult cat and that special needs wasn’t a dealbreaker, and it was truly love at first sight when I met Cordelia (nee Socks). She was 6 years old and recently re-surrendered to the shelter after her owner, an elderly Eastern European woman, moved back to her home country. She had a rough backstory, grew up in a hoarder home and was found and brought to the shelter when the home caught fire and firefighters found literally over a hundred cats in cages. In addition to being less appealing to potential adopters because of age, she was suffering from dandruff mostly due to being overweight and was/is on a prescription diet for proteinuria. Nevertheless, she is a gentle, loving, total couch potato of a cat who adores being brushed and touched by humans.
The shelter is pay what you wish, and I made a $100 donation to the shelter (not split). Additionally, I had no cat supplies, so before I brought her home I went to my local pet store. I had a $100 gift card that I won in a raffle to benefit a pitbull rescue, but still paid $44.99 out of pocket for a haul that included a litter box, 20 lb bag of litter, a cat condo (that she never even touched, naturally), Litter Genie, and a bag of Litter Genie refills. I did not need to pay for a carrier at this point because the shelter provided one.

Toys and Accessories
Other than the cat condo previously noted, I spent $51 at PetSmart (not split) on a harness and some random toys. As usual, she does not like any of these toys and only wants to play with my dirty socks. This purchase also included a slicker brush because she loves the brushie. For $2 at TJ Maxx I got her a scratch pad that she loved and scratched to death and I replaced for another $2 later on. At one point she scratched my doorframe so I got a scratching post with a built-in brush at the base and also got more Litter Genie bags for a $50 pet store visit. In January I returned to the pet store yet again and bought a water fountain for $30, which was another dud. Last month I bought her a set of raised food/water bowls for $20 and pleased to say they actually increased her water intake! I also bought a Furminator for $20 as the season change has made her quite scrunkly. Finally, I’ve spent $110 on alternative carriers because the one from the shelter is pretty awkward and heavy. I got a backpack carrier for vet visits and today I ordered a rolling carrier to try and bring her on public transit to my parents’ house.
This total does not include things my parents bought for their grandkitty, such as a cat bed that looks like a present box, or random small toys that I paid for in cash. This stuff is also not split because it was all me being silly and extra.

This is also sort of a recurring cost, but as I mentioned, she is on prescription urinary food. Though maybe not for much longer because she had a bladder test Friday! Every 48 days, I pay $122 for two 24 packs of her wet food. She eats a can a day and also gets a tiny bit of prescription dry food so she doesn’t spend all night bugging me. The shelter did send me home with what they had of her prescription. The total spent on her food thus far is slightly higher than the recurring cost because I had to replace the dry food once.

Vet Visits
As part of her pet insurance coverage, I needed to bring her in for a comprehensive physical exam within 30 days of adoption. I brought her to a local vet and paid $217 for a physical exam. The vet found that she had ear mites, presumably from the shelter environment, so this total includes an ear cleaning and preventative mite treatment. This also includes a fecal analysis. Two weeks later, we decided to get Cordelia microchipped, which was $295 including the actual procedure and the registration fee with Pettrac.
This past Friday, Cordelia had another vet visit. This was primarily because she’s due for a rabies vaccine in May, but we also opted to do her annual physical so both those appointments would be on the same schedule and she won’t need to go in every 6 months for routine stuff. The total here was $346, of which $125 was the urinalysis. In addition to the urinalysis, physical, and rabies shot, I also got her a gabapentin prescription to hopefully avoid peeing/pooping/vomiting on car rides.

Sorry not sorry for being a crazy cat lady. I have some photos in my post history of Cordelia, she truly lights up my life and my/my sister’s apartment. She still has a bit to go to get to a healthy weight but she's noticeably improved at grooming herself.

I’m 18 (F) I dropped out of public school, switched online, and now at risk of not graduating. I live with my poor immigrant parents, and my brothers going down the wrong path. I have a job but I only get paid 15. I have 200 savings, but I have nothing beyond that. I’ve ruined my reputation, I have no friends, I gained 60 pounds, have acne, been hospitalized, and people in my hometown/fam think I’m a dumb thief/drug addict due to my past actions (I thought it was cool to lie and brag about those things even tho I barely did it.) This includes having to change MILs diaper because she won’t even get out of bed to urinate. She refuses to shower most days and her mother has to come her hair for her or it ends up matted. As a result the entire house smells of urine and their phones ring constantly with calls from MIL requesting food, drink, changing, and especially calls the second it is time for her scheduled prescription. Which is just Valium to my knowledge.
At first there was a nurse that came a few times a week but it was determined there was nothing medically wrong (except a bedsore that will not heal) that necessitated insurance to cover it and she refuses psychiatric help. Both being retired they are on a fixed income with no savings left.
She acquired a new doctor after being discharged from the hospital after her second overdose three years ago but he has yet to see him in person and he continues to prescribe her Valium in spite of threats he will not if she doesn’t come in and get a check up. He prescribed her anti depressants in the past but she refuses to take them as she insists she’s not depressed. In the past when MIL has wanted something additional for sleep and my dad and her mother refuse she becomes hysterical and verbally abusive. They are afraid of her and are enabling her as a result. Emergency services have been called before but as soon as they get there she drops the hysteria, becomes lucid, and without any actual medical issues cannot take her against her will.
My dad has fallen into depression and her own mom’s health is rapidly declining. Neither are emotionally or mentally equipped to reach out and find out what their options are. I have considered contacting adult social services ( there was an open case after discharge but nothing ever came of it and my attempts at reaching out to her case worker resulted in unanswered messages) but I fear being shut out if I do. Emergency services advised me to contact the local magistrate but my dad has made that clear that would be against his wishes. An anonymous call will not work because they have become so reclusive they never see anyone but me and my immediate family. MIL hasn’t left the house even to go outside in three years.
I have tried talking to my dad many times that she needs help and that she is being manipulative and abusive to him and her mother to keep them from doing so. I’ve explained that if/when MILs mother passes he is going to need someone IMMEDIATELY to take over care for her. He insists he will deal with it when he has to. He’s in incredible denial.
My hope is that I can at least find resources that I can set up for him as he is unable and unwilling to get the ball rolling. It breaks my heart that there are three people with zero quality of life. Their days are revolving around keeping MIL appeased and MIL is in dire need of help.
Is this just a case of where I just need to let them live their lives they way they want to or is there something that can legally be done? What resources are there for them?

I am about to start accutane today. My first dermatologist appointment was last week and this is my first ever prescription the products i have tried mainly consisted of benzoyl peroxide,moisturizer,cleanser, salicylic acid peel, mandelic acid peel, salicylic acid pads. do you guys think my acne is severe enough to need accutane or should i try to opt for something else

after calling my insurance/pharmacy/doctor about a million times my prescription is all figured out! yippee! thank god for pharmacists who know what they’re doing & don’t give you a single one dose bottle for a months supply
anyway: i’ve had three weeks on, a week and a half off, one week on. rounding up to five weeks from now on bc i don’t want to fuck with all that.
things i’ve noticed:
• BO not more offensive/noticable, but sour smelling (deodorant has less effect?)
• pube stache growth‼️darker hairs have full upper lip coverage now. i shaved for the first time and it felt scratchy and stubbly 👹
• voice cracking like all hell (a friend of mine clocked that i was on T because of this lol. i told her and she was like yeah i kinda figured)
• chest & back acne clearing up a bit (after being so greasy and icky for two weeks)
• peach fuzz on my chin & neck (proto-neckbeard)
• singing (lower low notes and voicecrackinger high notes as always)
• no periods let’s fucking go ‼️
things i could be imagining:
• voice lower in the morning: could be confirmation bias, since i know vocal cord rest etc causes this.
• level mood? i’ve been around people in bad moods and able to mediate/stay positive instead of creating a bad mood feedback loop - not sure if this is significant but it is nice :)
• low motivation week, but i this could be good (as opposed to low motivation + sadness and gloom week)
