In this afternoon's thread, we will be trialling running our commentary a new way. I will be updating this thread after each performance with my rough thoughts on each rehearsal, with some additional thoughts and comments from some of the other mods too. For this evening's jury show/dress rehearsal 2/evening preview, we will be covering the rehearsal via Reddit Live like we did last year. This will allow you to read a variety of voices and thoughts on the performances.

15:45CEST: We are off! The show begins with a montage of all the artists of this year in postcard style, very wholesome!
15:49CEST: Eleni Foureira kicks off the show, emerging from the middle cube. She's pretty scantily clad and her dance routine includes a bit of handkerchief choreography a bit like Marina Satti this year! There's either fake applause/cheers going on for this first rehearsal or the associated press in the arena are very loud!
15:51CEST: Eric Saade is next, with a rearranged version of his 2011 song 'Popular', complete with a very playful nod to the glass-breaking moment from his original performance.#
15:53CEST: Chanel is next, dressed in a blue costume which reminds me of Albina's (Croatia 2021), with ample booty of course. The backdrop is also blue, and there's pyro for both her an Eleni.
15:55CEST: Our hosts have arrived! Malin is in a pink suit, Petra in orange. About Malmo hosting, Petra says: 'Don't blame me, even I voted for Finland!' They've redone their lines after a bit of improv which reminds us that this is very much the first dress rehearsal. The cheers do appear to be live as whole pockets of the audience have been made up of the press - shoutouts to the press people there in person for being very loud and enthusiastic!#
Song 1: Cyprus
Postcard: The postcard starts with a purple graphic of the world tracing from Malmo to the country in question, in this case Cyprus. There's then a clip from a couple of previous Cypriot entries (1997 and 2012 I believe), and then shots of Silia. It feels quite different but I quite like it!
Performance: This performance really makes the stage feel massive with the use of cyan flooding lights and some effective use of blue flashing lights. Silia is slightly flat throughout and sounds a little nervous in her vocals. Otherwise it's the same energetic open you'd expect. They turned the lights out on her a little too quickly at the end, will probably fix that for the live show!
Song 2: Serbia
Postcard: The songs featured are 2007 and 2022 (Bitti Zdrava!) We see Teya playing her piano in an old building. I quite like the nod to past entrants, but others have mentioned that it provides a comparison to 'greatest' hits which can be unhelpful for current artists. They do also look a bit cheaper than some other users.
Performance: Teya starts off sat down on her rock with some intimate camerawork, being ever so slightly oxymated by the dry ice. She also sounds ever so slightly off to me in the verses, though she's absolutely fine belting it out in the chorus. I must say that I'm not getting fully sucked into the performance here although admittedly I've never really connected with the song - the giant watermarks we get on the digital feed also impacts ability to engage with the performance. There is a very effective final shot though with a lila ramonda which they've kept hidden from the gallery pics! We also see the artists leave the stage at the end, which seems like an intentional new directorial choice.
Song 3: Lithuania
Postcard: The featured songs are 2012 and 2021 (no 2006? Shame!).
Performance: This is the same polished, hypnotic performance from the national final, with a couple of new cool graphical moments. Silvester sounds great too! Camerawork wise there's still too many wide shots (and the video compression is not enjoying all the flashing lights!) but the sound balancing has been pretty excellent so far to my ears.
Song 4: Ireland
Postcard: There's one of Johnny Logan's songs, afraid I missed which one in between messages and catching up typing things! The shots of Bambie are very artistic as you'd expect!
Performance: Bambie starts off with a witchly cackle before the soundtrack has even began (accompanied by a massive cheer from the press). Camerawork is very tight and there's lots of clever shots and imagery which we didn't even have revealed in the gallery - a great shot with a satanic star and with the moon in the background. Bambie is emoting fantastically, and yes there is a costume change! This is three minutes of unforgettable artistry, ending in Bambie's effective high kick from the NF and a massive 'crown the witch' graphic on the backdrop. This is brilliant (and the other mods watching agree). Effing said: 'Wow, Bambie went crazier than Hatari!'
Break: Malin mentions that Bambie is the first non-binary artist - it's kinda weird hearing such an American accent in the main production! Petra then claims to know every single Eurovision song off by heart in a skit where she proves that is not the case. Then the ad break ends and Petra introduces Olly with quite a quick 'Remember, you can't vote for this!'
Finalist A: United Kingdom
Postcard: 1967 and 2022 get shown. Olly is having fun somewhere outside.
Performance: Stream quality took a nosedive at the start so we missed the very beginning. There is lots of very clever 'gravity' choreography, tight dance moves, upside down camerawork and a lot of homoerotic dancemoves. If you found the rehearsal clip too much, you will probably find other parts of it too much although I still think it that clip is the most risque bit. They have stopped the weird facial expressions and open mouths now which helps. The new final chorus is completely revamped and so much better than the original track, with Olly and the dancers finally emerging from their locker room. This enable Olly to go for a vocal big moment which he was slightly off on but otherwise fine. Even then, the camerawork is fantastic, as are the lights and pyro. This is an unforgettable performance and they have elevated this song immensely from the studio. I'm a proud Brit right now!
Song 5: Ukraine:
Postcard: The featured songs were Wild Dances and another one (EDIT: It was Shum, thanks Effing!), afraid I was too busy recovering from Olly and collating my thoughts to notice much else. Interestingly they go straight from the UK into this without announcement.
Performance: Jerry is a little bit vocally weak here and sounds a bit nervy. The graphics are very pretty, with some cool silhouettes on the cubes. There's a couple of other awesome graphical moments, especially the final shot where they lie down on top of a graphic of other women, and a holographic Jerry moment. It's effective but I'd hazard to say not quite as brilliant as a whole as it felt like it might be from the clips seen so far (unsure if the other mods agree!)
Song 6: Poland
Postcard: 1994 and 2014 are the songs of choice.
Performance: This also seems to have gotten a slight musical revamp, with some added melody in the verses and also live backing vocalists providing harmonies which are slightly too loud in the mix. Vocally this is easily the best I've heard from Luna live, although she's still a bit breathy generally. As for what's going on stage, well, it's certainly distinctive. I don't think it's overly distracting in a negative way, but it also doesn't necessarily work either. The moments on the horse are good, but I'm not sure why we need the camera to stick on random chess piece people flailing limbs for so long. The ending seems pretty effective and Luna seems to be enjoying her movement.
Song 7: Croatia
Unfortunately the stream died in a major way at the end of Poland and didn't come back until towards the end of Croatia, and even then was buffering and skipping all over the place. So sadly we can't give any particularly meaningful commentary of this staging until tonight's dress rehearsal. It looked and sounded great from what little we did see though - I particularly love Marko's intonation which he's perfected.
Song 8: Iceland
Postcard: Again missed the postcard due to catching up on post writing! One of the songs was 1986 I believe, but I didn't catch the second one.
Performance: A bit more buffering but the stream seems to have largely recovered. There's some nice lasers and background lights and Hera is owning the stage, but to me she sounds ever so slightly sharp? There's also just not enough going on on stage really to make this engaging, especially after a heavy hitter like Croatia, and her backing singers are shrouded in darkness for some reason. The ending is slightly different with a long note which was ever so slightly off to me.
Ad Break: There's a little bit where they put Eurovision songs over (presumably famous, sorry for being uncultured) movie scenes, tying into Malin's acting experience. There's a shoutout to the many people involved in the technical side of the performance. Clearly the German staging needs a bit of a break as they're still setting it up behind Petra.
Finalist B: Germany
Postcard: Features 1993 (I believe, may have been 1994) and 2010, and Isaak being wholesome with a dog.
Performance: The opening is different to the studio track as he's performed in the preparties. Starts with a slow zoom on Isaak on his seat next to a big fire. Isaak is vocally brilliant and is including lots of extra vocal flourishes, but he's not really hitting any of the cameras and it all feels a bit too much like going through the motions to me. The camerawork is basically lots of slow panning shots around the flaming room. It's nice to see the backing singers appear at the end to do the run na na ay bits, and there's a nice bit with the lights shutting off at the end, but the overall product feels sadly lifeless to me.
Song 9: Slovenia
Postcard: Features 2001 and 2019, underrated gems!
Performance: Starts out very dark with Raiven lying down among some dry ice, but we get to everything being blue and bright rather quickly. The dancers are doing the same thing as in the music video. Camerawork really could do with being a bit more tight, the wide shots don't work for the atmosphere of the song. The ending shot is quite effective too. I don't think this is a write-off by any means but it's not as atmospheric as it could be.
Song 10: Finland
Postcard: Missed the first song due to buffering, but unsurprisingly Kaarija is the other choice!
Performance: Sounded a bit like Teemu was forgetting his words at the start with how he slurred them compared to normal. We do indeed see his ass in at least one camerashot, and there's a couple of moments where we can clearly see his flesh-coloured thong where the dancing/camerawork could do with being a bit tighter. Otherwise it's much the same in terms of visual gags as at UMK. The press in the arena are loving it, of course. The backdrop is surprisingly static and unexciting, as is the lightshow. 'Yeah, this is Finland!' he says at the end.
Song 11: Moldova
Postcard: 2005 and 2010 are shown, although every briefly! We see Natalia getting ready at a studio as well as boxing and going on a picnic with a giant teddy bear.
Performance: This has probably the most colourful and pretty graphics of every performance so far, including a really pretty shot from above with fish swimming around her. Sometimes the graphics and colours are a bit distracting, such as the giant butterflies on the cubes. She's singing well and adding in some extra vocal flourishes, but it really is a very static performance and lacks a clear 'vote me' moment. It was better than I thought it might be from the clips before, but as another mod said, it's lacking that Moldovan magic.
Qualifier C: Sweden
Postcard: No ad break, just a little introduction before Sweden. 1983 and of course 2023 are shown.
Performance: This starts off identically to at Melfest, with the LED walls either side of them and the same choreography and the boys' playful energy. It looks and sounds great. The difference is the end of the song, with the walls pushed right to the edge of the stage. The digital colours and flashing graphics here are immense and this will be a very strong way to start the final on Saturday.
Song 12: Azerbaijan
Postcard: They have a cat! The featured songs are 2009 and 2011.
Performance: Very effective opening here with the use of white and black light and a silhouette emerging from beneath the sea behind Fahree. The backdrop is really cool, as is the use of hands on the floor graphics. Unfortunately he's ever so slightly flat to start and on the very last note, and the camerawork goes full on wide shot city in the chorus which makes it feel a bit flat. You can also clearly see a stagehand rolling the giant hand prop onto stage behind Ilkin (who is perfect vocally). I'm unsure about this - some bits work really well, others feel a bit lifeless.
Song 13: Australia
Postcard: 2015 and 2019 are the songs of choice - poor Dami Im!
Performance: The lights give a kind of rainbow northern lights effects on Zaachariaha's dress, starting with some intimate camerawork which is quite good. It is pretty clearly low budget but they are making the absolute most of the resources they have - their own charisma and well controlled camerawork. There's lots of interactions between Zaachariaha and Michael, and a clever fade into the backing singers arriving. Zaachariaha started singing slightly behind the tune near the end which made it feel a bit messy, which is also how the entrance of the digeridoo bloke feels. Lots of vocal acrobatics too which aren't always convincing.
Song 14: Portugal
Postcard: Missed the first song due to buffering, but obviously 2017 is the second one.
Performance: Lots of stream issues at the start of this one I'm afraid so difficult to get a feel for atmosphere. However, the first shot is really effective in a trimmed narrow aspect ratio which frames Iolanda's expressions. As is the use of white colour throughout which is consistently interesting and adds to the send of intensity that the music gives. Iolanda is vocally flawless, probably the best vocal performance of the day to me. Altogether a very effective performance!
Song 15: Luxembourg
Postcard: 1965 and 1988 I think were shown but again I may be wrong, sorry! Tali is having fun with some friends in a park, and has her now-signature plats too.
Performance: The performance starts out drenched in a kind of pinky-red light as Tali is surrounded by a pink box with other boxes and her dancers around her. Pyro from the first chorus and some clever flashing lights for the revamped end of the chorus. Tali sounds a lot more in control of her breathing to my untrained ear, and she also generally looks and feels a lot more comfortable with what she's doing on stage (though she is a little out of breath at the end!). She's also not got her hair in plats for this performance, instead opting for having her hair tied back - it looks good to me! It's not a perfect performance - the giant CH leopard on the backdrop feels a bit random, and she's over-selling the 'emotional' stripped back penultimate chorus a bit, but this makes a strong end of the semi. Welcome back Luxembourg!
EDIT: Mods who are more familiar with female haircare than me say that this is probably just Tali without her hair done properly.
17:25CEST: Very efficiently, Malin and Petra kick off the voting. Europe, start voting now!
Recap: For now we see random volunteers standing in for the artists in the greenroom! The lady being Silvester Belt is loving it and hilariously it seems to be just a handful of volunteers changing seats! Most of the delegations have gone for the final chorus for their snippets. Bambie goes for the screamo at the very end. We must be cursed because the stream froze again in time for Croatia's snippet!
Interval Act: Johnny Logan gets a very complimentary introduction complete with emotional background music. Not quite sure why they decided to show clips of his winning performances when he's about to perform them again anyway. Ah, that's why - he's singing an orchestral ballad version of Euphoria, complete with an orchestra! It feels more Disney ballad than Johnny Logan ballad, but he's still got the pipes for it!
Green Room: Or should I say the 'pink room', to be more accurate. Luxembourg get a special shoutout and an interview with fake Tali about Luxembourg's victories. Tali's stand in is loving it! The point is made that this is the first time in Tali's lifetime that Luxembourg have participated in Eurovision, which is indeed a fun fact!
We then get a recap of some of the looks from the Turquoise carpet.
Recap 2: To clarify, UK/Germany/Sweden aren't shown in the recaps as they aren't 'competing acts' in this semi. To me, Ireland remains the clear standout because of how stylised the camerawork is, though plenty of other countries look great on the recap. The difference in quality between the first and second halves is pretty stark to me.
Europe, stop voting now! Petra and Malin end the voting by segwaying into a brief skit with the 'Australian commentators', who are upside down of course. After a brief technical delay, Petra has a brief skit about the app with a 'random member of the audience', and then Malin references Belgium 1973's husband and wife duo and dance moves and calls it the first 'Eurovision slay', which is a bit cringy. There's then a 'brief legacy of dance' in Eurovision, showing clips from a lot of different performances across Eurovision history.
17:49CEST: We're now back in the green room with Petra, who makes a joke about providing snacks including a baby lasagna and also refers to herself as 'mother' before giving some fun facts about some of the artists, including Bambie being half Swedish. Then back with Malin on the main stage, who introduces Benjamin Ingrosso...
Interval Act: Benjamin Ingrosso looks completely different to in 2018 - you'd think he's a completely different person given the vocal style is quite different to 2018 too! Not too much to say here, there's some cool angles with the ceiling lights and he performs some of his greatest hits well (including 'Kite'), though with everything else from the postcards to the skits referencing the history of Eurovision it does feel a bit out of place to me! The third song sees dancers finally emerge to join him on stage. The dancers and band are wearing what I'd described as 'Maneskin red' leather. This third song is very groovy and presumably the Swedes in the audience will be loving it.
17:59CEST: Malin and Petra introduce a brief recap through a series of random performances from the past twenty or so years, showcasing the breadth of genres at ESC, including Germany 2009, Serbia and Montenegro 2004, Italy 2015, San Marino 2019, Croatia 2006 and others.
Qualifiers Announcement: With Petra and Malin now equipped with the usual scoring table thing, the LED screen at the back finally opens up 2011 style to reveal the artists behind stage. Malin continues talking over it which is a little strange. Even Martin Osterdahl gets some emotional music for some reason, and a quiet splatter of applause to accompany his traditional 'good to go'.
The fake qualifiers (completely randomised) are: Portugal, Australia, Ukraine, Lithuania, Poland (with Luna offkey in the clip! D:), Azerbaijan, Cyprus, Serbia, Slovenia and finally ... Finland! Which would mean no Croatia which is not going to happen :P
When the qualifier is announced, we get a splitscreen of their reaction with a clip from their performance. As in previous years it slows down a little for the final three (although Malin jumped the gun a bit in announcing Serbia!).

When I'm not working the typical day job, I run a review website which I have been for 7 years and counting with a team of 12 (all my friends) across Australia. My outlet covers things from K-Pop, live music/concerts, gaming, film, theatre (I love musicals), and all things in between. So yes, you're likely to see/hear about me being invited to a film premiere, or theatre opening night etc. I started the website on my own a while ago and it became too much, so I recruited a team to help me out. I find it extremely fulfilling but very busy.
Which is why as much as I would love to write snail mail, I don't know how discipline I could be in keeping up. I do love handwriting letters and believe I have lovely handwriting - but being lefthanded kind of smudges the ink sometimes and my hand cramps a bit because I hold my pens weirdly. I love foreign films, romantic comedies, action, sci-fi and fantasy movies. I started writing because I don't watch films enough and these days give a lot of the movie screenings/premieres to my writers instead of allocating them to myself. But I am cutting that down to being time poor. I like superhero movies but I'm tired of the superhero flicks lazy Hollywood keep dishing out these days. I am hoping though that Deadpool x Wolverine movie comes to sweep things up and save the day.
I can't really watch horror or play any horror games but have admittedly seen all the Japanese Ring movies, A Quiet Place (there are no jump scares), and ALIEN franchise films.

I don't get the chance to watch TV as much as I like but I am obsessed with Bridgerton at the moment and I am aching to watch Season 3 when Part 1 finally comes out this month!

Sports wise, I am obsessed with tennis. My favourite tennis player is Andy Murray (he is lovely, honestly). I go to the Australian Open every year since it's in my city and try to avidly follow the tennis all year round, at least with every Grand Slam.
I got into the Formula 1 during lockdown/Covid era try to watch every race I can - but the time difference or me makes it difficult. Drive To Survive on Netflix also converted me!
I do love soccefootball but try follow international soccer whenever I can. I don't particularly have a team I'd follow in the British Premier League but if I was watching the Fifa World Cup, I would cheer South Korea or Japan over Australia (happy to explain in a chat, aha). And you bet I will be glued to the Olympics this year whenever I have the chance to watch it and if time difference again permits.
I want to travel overseas again but the cost of living is hell! If I could, I'd love to go back to Japan or wherever the music takes me. I tend to fly overseas for concerts if I know an artist isn't touring Australia.
I am married, no kids, no pets (although animals are the best, my lifestyle just doesn't suit to responsibility owning one). I am terrified about turning 40 and I don't want to be a mother, so I don't feel I'd relate to parents talking about the children etc. I also consider myself a big kid/young at heart, I suppose I probably sound like by what I've written so I am looking for those that can relate that have similar interests to me.
I have social anxiety in person. Many think I'm a social butterfly but I feel I have to 'charge/recharge' before throwing myself into the wild.

It’s been happening for a while, but it’s starting to get disruptive. It mostly happens when I’m laying down, but occasionally when I’m upright as well. No wheezing when inhaling, only when exhaling.

Hello friends, it's been over three years since the release of Time Re 80%, and we've been holding onto the memory of this design. It's been a representative product for Fox Lab, so this time, we've continued the Time style to create a smaller version called Time 65%.

Design Concept

With Time 65's design, we didn't just shrink the 80% version and call it a day. We made many significant changes while retaining the essence of the 80% style. The outer appearance has undergone a significant transformation, shifting from a straightforward design to one with curves and contours, blending curves with a cyberpunk aesthetic.
Previously, the top and bottom cases had a flat structure, with the slope integrated into the top case. However, this design sometimes led to hollow-sounding typing without foam and might not appeal to many female users due to its direct style. With Time 65, we've placed the slope on the bottom case, returning to the traditional slope design, and added fluid curves to the sides. The challenge with this design was addressing the issue of the bottom case being thinner than the top, preventing the insertion of the dial. However, we cleverly resolved this issue, giving the overall appearance a more dynamic feel.
We've also made intricate changes to the dial, adding Roman numeral time scales, simulating the gears and screws found in mechanical watches, and replacing the previous heart-shaped hands with Omega-style sword hands. Additionally, we've added a second-hand and a simulated chronograph dial above. While we'd love to perfect the Time design further, even considering creating an actual watch, consultations with industry professionals have made us realize the immense challenge of creating a mechanical watch movement far beyond our capabilities. Therefore, to avoid regrets, we've focused on making the dial's interior design as realistic and detailed as possible, mimicking mechanical watches' overall structure and details where feasible.
Given Time's retro design style, we've opted not to use a gasket structure for the internal structure design but instead utilize a Top+Leaf spring structure. This decision aims to maintain the authentic feel of the keyboard while also addressing our fatigue with various gaskets and foams over the past two years. Similarly, we've removed the switch shims to differentiate our keyboard's sound and tactile feel from others.
Despite the streamlined design of Time 65's contours, the front bezel maintains a bold and distinctive style. We spent considerable time deliberating over the front design, realizing that neither the elegant and rounded design of the leaf nor the flat and thin design of Key65 suited Time. Ultimately, we chose a design with sharp edges and precise lines, embodying Time's essence. This choice reaffirms that the difference in design lies in the details; a chamfer or a millimeter's distance can drastically alter the overall style.

Forgotten in the deep midst of a wine dark sea were the Mistwatch isles. Shrouded in deep fogs and enveloped by rocky shores and tempestuous waters, it was a quiet place isolated from the surrounding continents housing the major kingdoms and empires of the elves dwarves and men. Many of the Isles people’s the descendants of peoples who’s ships strayed too close and became trapped on its misty shores. Many considered it a a place of haunting beauty and dark mystery, some thought it to be a cursed place. The mists draws in many people and seldom ever lets them go.
Gloomhaven, the smallest and most outlying of the isles was the seat of the city of the same name, largest settlement and the jumping off point for exploring the larger isles deeper in the mists. Many of which were dotted ruins of peoples long forgotten, myriad shipwrecks along the coasts, and dark expanses of wilderness teeming with dangerous beasts and monsters.
In the corner of a lively but cozy dockside inn there sat a lone young man, a dwarf clad in a pauldroned red cloak and a horned closed face helm, poking out from under was the end of his dark blonde beard. He was sipping from a tall mug of dwarven mead white lost in his thoughts, beside him a flyer was hung up advertising his services as an adventuring companion/mercenary for hire. His name was Nimh, heir and one of the last survivors of the dwarven clan Firesong.
It had been a long fortnight since the downfall of his clan to the hands of a lowland orc band that had invaded the stronghold of his uncle, the late Lord Ganon Firesong. Though he tried to comfort himself knowing his uncle fell valiantly sword in hand, it all haunted him and he was desperate for any kind of distraction while he put together a plan of action against the orcs who took his clan from him.
The Dwarf’s teal eyes scanned the room, glancing up to see that he had been so lost in his own thoughts that he had failed to notice a stranger approaching his table, presumably looking to hire his services.
“A fine evening to you, are you here seeking the services of a skilled dwarven fighter? Or if just light company you seek you’re also welcome.” A gruff voice spoke from behind the helm. Wanting to be welcoming, he scooted his chair closer to the table and used his boot to push the chair opposite of him out as a clear invitation that they were welcome to sit and join him. Reaching his arm out form his cloak he extended his hand out “Nimh of Clan Firesong at your service.”

He bears emotional scars from the fall of his clan and the loss of his uncle, memories of that day haunting him most nights and susceptible to falling into pits of melancholia
Bio: Nimh has no memories of his parents, as they passed when he was far too little to remember, so from when he was young he was raised by his uncle Ganon, head of clan Firesong and lord of the territory surrounding their stronghold in the highlands of the isle of Everfall. It was his uncle who largely shaped Nimh into the person he is today and taught him everything he knew. After tensions arouse between clan Firesong and a band of orcs from the lowlabs over territorial disputes escalated out of control, and before they could properly prepare for battle the orcs stormed his the stronghold, leading to the fall of his clan and loss of his uncle. In the face of the horror he made what he later felt was a coward’s choice, he ran. As of now he’s on a journey of working to avenge his clan and make peace with what’s happened, taking the slow steps to begin moving forward with his life and start to make new connections with others.

I have skin colored warts/moles that pop up in various different spots on my body. right now, they’re mainly on the top of my right foot and around my left knee. there are around ~10 on my foot and ~15 on my knee. it seems like they show up, get minutely larger, and then stop growing after a while. They started on my right foot a few years ago, when there were only 3. After that, more and more started showing up and they’re not stopping. some of them are just as large as a freckle, some of them are the size of a small mole. Is this anything to be concerned about?

AITAH for telling my girlfriend she is too much of a "wildcard" to marry?
My (27M) girlfriend, M, (27F) is a bit of a free spirit. Don't get me wrong, she is very intelligent, attractive and has a lot going for her. We've been together 3 years.
But the issue I've been having recently is that she is wanting marriage and I see her as such an untamable horse so to speak. She is a rebellious, free spirited adventurer who literally packs up and leaves to go on a trip at a drop of the hat. She tells me she's going, and won't go if there are already commitments but if she can she is gone.
She is financially secure but she also spends a lot. Past an emergency fund, all her money goes to travel, taking up a multitude of projects. She woke up one day and decided to enroll in an auto-repair course, she is currently getting GIA certified for gemology. She makes jewelry, she works remote so she literally will pack up and take her work with her when she finds events she wants to go to ECT.
She's lived abroad, had a house in the south of France, she speaks 3 languages, goes to Germany and Austria often, she picks up hobbies or skills like they are M&M's. There isn't anything wrong with it I guess but it just feels chaotic?
Her biggest flaw is that she is rebellious. She absolutely hates, loathes the traditional route for anything. I went to college and she didn't, she had problems with teachers (which were founded, one abused her).but it's widespead. She quits jobs because she "manages better" and she does, she has her own business and a host of side hustles but it is just... how long does it last?
She was asking me if I was ever going to propose and I said I wasn't sure, we argued back and forth a little and she asked why I wouldn't. I was honest and said I saw her as a wildcard, that she just takes off a lot. She said she was lucky and could do that. That her friend died unexpectedly in his 30s and she absolutely is not going to go out working a "boring" 9-5 with no life and no experiences under her belt. She left- and hasn't spoken to me since. It's been 5 days. She said she needed to think.

Just to clarify because I see a lot of comments and accusations of her flying around.
She isn't a bad person she just likes to be on the move.
She's been mentioning marriage/wanting to discuss it from the beginning (or at least 6-9 months into our relationship.) The expectation was always there, we discussed it. When I asked her if she would slow down or "settle" she's always said she just can't imagine not travelling at all. That she's happy to do school runs and live in an area for a long time but she has a lot of stuff on her bucket list still like going to Japan and things. I've always countered with what about kids? She says she wants to give them those experiences and keep them "cultured" and open minded but obviously it depends on them (she functions under different kids need different things).
She was abused, her friend died very tragically which I won't go into detail about. She has anxiety and C-PTSD that is managed and honestly you'd never know she has those things- I only know because she gave me the disclaimer. She doesn't have ADHD, please stop trying to diagnose her with bipolar or ADHD and leave that to her professionals.
I do want to marry her but it just freaks me out that she is so hyper independent. She always invites me a long and sometimes I go. I've told her I don't want her traveling while pregnant or anything and she's always been understanding of my point of view.
I think I messed up telling her she was a wildcard and would be a bad mothewife by extension. And NO. She DID NOT GHOST ME. She asked for a specific amount of time and has been sending one or two texts just checking in but she wanted a week to decide how she was feeling so I'm giving her the week.
She also hasn't had a lot of partners like some people are suggesting. She's been with 2 people. She doesn't drink, smoke or do drugs at all.
Hopefully we can salvage this.

Gentle YTA, for having dated this person for 3 years and not knowing what you even want from her. How long does what last, exactly? Lots of people make a carrier out of what you might call "side hustle salad". If you think about it, it's actually more stable in a lot of ways than locking yourself into one specific career track, because you can adjust to changing economic forces on the fly.
You, personally, need to think about this harder. Think about what you actually want out of your future, and whether she'll fit. These wishy-washy gut-checks are no way to plan a life, your own or yours together. Don't project it on to her, think about your own personal needs and wants. It's not "you're a wildcard", it's "I want my domestic life to be predicable and slow-paced"

Whether your assessment is fair depends on one point for me: Is she just *VERY** spontaneous or is she irresponsible?*
Example: You write she has an emergency fund, but is she on track with her retirement savings or does she just blow all of her money? You write she will quit a job because she does not like it. Does she just do it on a whim and hope for the best or does she have a plan in mind beforehand?
If it‘s the former (extreme spontaneity), it sounds like your lifestyles are not compatible (I personally could not live with someone like her). Think very hard whether you can live with her or not. If you come to the conclusion that you can‘t or don‘t want to, it‘s probably best to break up.
If it‘s the latter (irresponsibility), I think you‘re not the asshole.
In either case, if you are not honest with her, you‘re the asshole in my opinion.

I was diagnosed with CPTSD and anxiety due to severe trauma later in life and one therapist was also unsure whether it could be ADHD. But two separate psychiatrists did tests (where you specifically look if symptoms where there in childhood already!) and it was still confirmed. We often get wrongly diagnosed. With everything you are describing she might as well have CPTSD and ADHD. Neurodivergent people are traumatized most of the times. It’s all a very thin line.

Massive incompatibility. Women hit the epiphany stage in their late 20s or early 30s, when they suddenly want to nest and have their families.
They've had the Chads, the foam canon parties, the drinking, and the fun of being members of the most protected and socially glorified class of human being (attractive, fertile, young women)... and they begin to feel the reality of being not at their absolute 'prime'... it panicks them into a mental state where stability is required.

Personally, I think you should go a bit younger... she's 27, had a load of experiences, and (likely) casual partners. She's been abused, so that damage is done. She's not really wife stock. You can sense it, which is why you haven't proposed.
She's a bit all over the place. No stable(ish) employment, not great with money, wants to spend everything on travel. It's a bit 'teenager' for my liking.
Marriage may not be for her. She just doesn't know it yet.
I wouldn't waste her time further. I'd recommend you find a younger woman (22-25) who's ready to settle down into a lifestyle that you lead within your boundaries and limitations and expectations.

Dude. I was diagnosed with PTSD and CPTSD looooong before I was diagnosed with ADHD. It literally took a hospitalization for me to be diagnosed, and age 26. Women and femmes are severely under-diagnosed and misdiagnosed. I can spot the ADHD in her a mile away from how you describe her - she reminds me so much of myself, and others I know. Lack of diagnosis doesn’t mean she doesn’t qualify.
Edit: before *more** people come after me for this and before I feel more obligated to defend and justify myself - it is a known fact that the mental health medical field, maybe just where I am (Ontario), is severely lacking. There are a lot of bad doctors, doctors who hold onto very outdated views of diagnoses and trauma. Medical misogyny is a very real and documented thing.*
Lack of diagnosis does not mean it’s off the table. That’s it. Doctors get it wrong, when it comes to the brain. Psychiatry has not come as far as it should have by now.

Fun fact, medical misogyny exists. It’s why misdiagnosis happens. I know so many people that had to go to multiple psychiatrists to get diagnosed. Because the DSM, particular for ADHD and Autism, are written around how they manifest in specifically white men. Just like how in dermatology for example, all the research and symptoms are in white people which results in misdiagnosis in people who “don’t meet criteria”. It’s not armchair diagnosing to point that out. Also - therapists worth their salt would never tell someone with C-PTSD they don’t need therapy.
Edit: and the point here isn’t even to diagnose her. It’s to point out that her personality is just that, and if you’re not compatible due to it so be it. Let her go. But in your comments you’ve expressed that you are insecure; and it’s resulting in self sabotage. You need to be open with her, and allow yourself to be vulnerable and communicate these things to her. It’s the only way the relationship is salvageable.

What’s the difference between your assets and finances? Because it seems like she’s got a lot of family money and/or has had a huge leg up in life from the opportunities she’s had in her family’s social circles. I’m guessing that you don’t have the same advantages she does. In that case, she’s smart to advocate for a prenup. Most wealthy people do. It’s part of the reason they maintain generational wealth.
I’m definitely not wealthy, and had a stable childhood but not many social or financial advantages. I married someone with the same kind of upbringing. I think that a marriage of people from different socioeconomic backgrounds can sometimes be more difficult to navigate than one between people of different ethnic and religious backgrounds.
ETA: I know this is harsh, but it seems like she’s ended the relationship if she’s disappeared for 5 days. I hope both of you can find more suitable partners in the future.

Pensions aren’t as common as you think they are lol. I’ve had four full time, salaried jobs in my working career and none of them offered pensions. And I think it’s incredibly responsible that she has an emergency fund, we don’t know how much she has set aside in case of emergencies. Clearly she can afford her lifestyle, just because she isn’t investing or whatever doesn’t make her irresponsible. Besides, she’s young, enjoys travel, isn’t married, doesn’t have kids, sounds like she’s living the life she wants. People spend thousands on hobbies all the time, unsure how this is any different.

If she’s got a house in southern France and speaks 3 languages and regularly goes to Germany and Austria, that means something VERY different if she’s European vs being American or Canadian.
From my limited experience with Dutch culture, it seems far more practical and sensible than American culture. It doesn’t surprise me that prenups are standard in NL.

So, this was really not intentional. I had made a requested cum tribute video for a reddit user here the day before yesterday. When I was sitting in bus I was browsing through my gallery. I had forgotten to delete that video right after sending. So I was quite shocked to watch my dick being stroked by me to a nude female body. I deleted it then. Right afterwards I turned my head to see, if anybody had noticed. I looked right into the face of the woman sitting behind me, who must have had a free view on my phone. She looked quite perplexed, but didn't react in any way more than that. I turned red and left at the next stop.

Let's circle back to Rhys's sister.

Let's say Tamlin did save her. He kept her from being killed. He shapeshifted someone else's body and was able to get her to safety.
But . . . something happened, and she disappeared. Somehow, she disappeared and portaled into another world.
And Tamlin—how could he possibly know what happened to her?

Let's revisit a few conversations we've already brought up that could give us some insight into this:

CONVERSATION NO. 1:

Slowly, Tamlin’s head lifted, his unbound golden hair dull and matted.
“Do you think she will forgive me?” The question was a rasp. As if he’d been screaming.
I knew whom he meant . . . If Feyre would ever want to offer that to him . . . “Do you want her to?"
His green eyes were empty. “Do I deserve it?”
. . . He must have read it on my face, because he asked, “Do you forgive me—for your mother and sister?”
“I don’t recall ever hearing an apology.”.
. . . “I don’t think one will make a difference, anyway,” Tamlin said, staring at the felled elk once more. “For either of you.”

Now, my friends, read that passage again. But please—don't rely on Rhysand, who is functioning as an unreliable narrator right now. Rhys is the one saying I knew whom he meant. But he's not reading Tamlin's mind—he's assuming, due to the immediacy of Feyre. TAMLIN is the only one who can verify who the "she" is.

And I think there's a strong chance "she" . . . is Rhysand's sister.

Because look where the conversation goes; how Tamlin phrases it. Here, let's slice out the background text (i.e. Rhysand's commentary) and put it together:

"Do you think she will forgive me?"
"Do you want her to?"
"Do I deserve it? Do you forgive me—for your mother and sister?"

If you gather the pieces, it can strongly be argued that Tamlin was talking about what happened with Rhysand's sister the entire time. Asking Rhys if he forgives him was not a change of topic—it was continuing the conversation he was already having. A conversation centered around Rhysand's sister.
Tamlin ends it with:

“I don’t think one will make a difference, anyway . . . For either of you.”

I don't think an apology will make a difference—for you or your sister.

Because Lorin is still lost. Because Rhys still doesn't have his sister. Because she's still as good as dead, whether she truly is or not.

CONVERSATION NO. 2:

“But you . . . Tamlin . . . ” The walls pushed in on me. “I’m drowning,” I managed to say. “I am drowning. And the more you do this, the more guards . . . You might as well be shoving my head under the water.”
Nothing in those eyes, that face.
. . . One breath, the study was intact.
The next, it was shards of nothing, a shell of a room.
Tamlin was panting, the ragged breaths almost like sobs . . . There was devastation on that face. And pain. And fear. And grief.

We've already explored the loose, tentative theory that Lorin may have portaled to Midgard via the pool of starlight.
Can you imagine a young Tamlin bringing her there, hoping to heal her, to save her . . . hoping that the pool of starlight itself might be enough to make whole the daughter of the Night Court, to keep her from dying . . . only to dip her in the water, and lose her anyway?
Especially if Tamlin, in those moments of her near-death, realizes she was mate?
What if Tamlin knows the pool of Starlight was a portal into the Night Court? What if Lorin already visited him via this way (we're getting closer to the Apollo & Daphne storyline). What if Tamlin assumed she made it home, safe, but when Rhysand and his father winnow to the Spring Court that night in retribution, he believes she died from her wounds?

When Feyre claims that Tamlin is drowning her, what if he's remembering another female he loved . . . the mate he dipped into a pool of starlight and never saw again?

Apollo uses his powers to make Daphne's leaves evergreen, and from there on wears a crown of laurel leaves to signal his undying love for her.

Rhose, beauty that she is, spurns any potential suitors and prefers to spend her time in the wilderness, exploring the forest and reading. She finds a portal, connecting her to a pool of starlight mysteriously located in the Spring Court.

Tamlin spies Rhose in the Spring Court and, sure as cupid's arrow, is immediately struck. Rhose, frightened, flees back through the pool.

However, over the coming months, Rhose returns and Tamlin earns her trust. Eventually, the two grow close, always meeting at this same spot—this portal connecting their courts:

“Why this place?” I asked,
“This was my favorite haunt as a boy.”
“Which was when?” I couldn’t stop the question from coming out.
He cut a glance in my direction. “A very long time ago.” He said it so quietly that it made me shift on my feet.

Tamlin shares with Rhose his love of music and song, she shares her love for art and beauty, and it becomes something they enjoy, together:

Then, tragedy strikes, and Rhose is forced to flee from Tamlin, from his father, from his brothers who want to kill her:

Tamlin tries to stop his father and brothers, tries to prevent the death of the female he loves. He kills and shape-shifts a sentry's body to take her place, then manages to winnow a broken and bleeding Rhose, wingless and dying, to Spring—to try and save her, to heal her:

“Can’t you use your magic?” I asked, wishing I could rip that mask off his face and see his full expression.

Tamlin takes her to the pool of starlight, where they once talked of being happy forever. He heals Rhose as best he can, dips her into the pool of starlight to send her home, to keep her safe . . . and loses her forever:

So, can we really assume that Tamlin and Lorin were/are mates? What clues are there?

Tamlin. Tamlin is our clue.

Tamlin acts like a mated male. He acts like a mated male who LOST his mate, and then found love again:

“I didn’t. For a long while I couldn’t. I think I’m still . . . not back. I might never be . . .
"But maybe,” he said quietly . . . [h]e didn’t smile, but his eyes were inquisitive. “Maybe we could find the way back together.”

Now I know, I know—Rowan's bond to Lydia wasn't real. Maeve manipulated it. But to Rowan, it felt real. As real as it could feel. His feelings, due to her manipulation, were all just as they would have been had Aelin been in Lyria's place.

Feyre was the female who healed Tamlin's heart. The female who chose him; the female that chose to walk with him to "find the way back together."

And then she left.
And he fought like hell to get her back. To save her. To stop Rhysand from ripping into her mind and using her against her will, just to hurt him—to punish him for what he'd done, all those years ago.

But it was all a lie.

Feyre destroyed his court. Left his people broken. No family, no friends . . . no trust, no support, no stability.
He betrayed Feyre; believed her safety more important than her well-being.

And Feyre took EVERYTHING from him for it.

Not only her love; but the people he tried so hard to protect. The court he wanted to make better, better than what he'd inherited.
If Rhose/Lorin was his mate . . . and he'd already lost her . . . was already driven mad with the need to protect the human female he'd come to love, against all odds, only to have her masquerade that love as a weapon and tear the world out from underneath him . . .

Tamlin was never going to come out of that whole, and sane, and unbroken.
