First you need to have a second account, then create a live support ticket regarding account issue. You will need to tell the epic employee the whole truth on how you lost the account if you got hacked say that if you tried to sell it and you got scammed and regret even trying to sell it say it you need to be honest they will help you if your honest in epic. Then you will need to give them an email where they can contact you (most likely it will be the email from the epic game account your contacting them on live support) after that you will need to send them on email some old receipts from things you had bought on fortnite and one of your first IGN's thats it you will most likely get your account back in a few hours or days.

Hey Reddit, so I (14f) had a pretty weird teacher (42f) a few years ago that I would really like some advice about. So at the start of 6th grade, I was really depressed, and decided to tell my teacher at the time since I hadn’t told anyone else. She started talking to me almost every lunch break about the stuff I was going through. I ended up telling her I was questioning my sexuality, (I’m a christian and have now realized that I’m straight). Anyways she started to over validate that, telling me all her political and religious views. She would almost act as my therapist, and I’d also act like hers, as she’d always tell me about her messy divorce that happened about 10 years prior, and also told me advice that her own therapist gave her. I feel like she got creepily close with me and crossed some boundaries that she wasn’t supposed to. There was one time she hugged me without asking after I gave her a Christmas gift, which I found kind of strange, because I never initiated it. At the end of the year she gave me a rock and gave me some sappy words and told me to keep going and stuff. She said I could put it in my pocket or something, and then she said she has a rock that she puts in her bra, which I was pretty weirded out by. She also would tell me during our talks at lunch break how to do chores and stuff, and was acting like she was my mom. She taught me how to make spaghetti and do laundry, which I found pretty strange because she knew I had a really good mom that was highly involved in my life. I also had her in third grade, and she used to always trash talk her boyfriend's daughter and vent to us about random things, and again tell us all her political views. She would trash talk her hockey billets and was crying one time and asked us our advice on which school her hockey billet should go to, as he got expelled. There was one time in 6th grade, where there was this kid with some mental issues that was acting out. She made us third graders all form a circle around her going around and saying things we didn’t like that she was doing while everyone was crying and freaking out. At the end of 6th grade, she left and went to teach at another school. This literally broke me and led me to a really depressive state, as I basically idolized her. I’d fantasize about her adopting me or me getting abused and going to live with her. She’d go on to send me quite a few emails into the next school year, asking how I’m doing and things. Eventually when I came to my senses, I sent her an angry email expressing how I felt like she crossed a lot of boundaries with me. She just responded saying to contact kids' help phone, and we’ve never spoken since. I went to the principal about it when I was still at that school, and she just brushed it off, saying she’d talk to the teachers at the next teacher meeting to be more careful. She didn’t at all validate my feelings, and it’s not like she does with anyones, and there’s been fist fights at that school where no parents were called. Anyways I'm just wondering if I’m crazy and this is all in my head, or if there’s anything I can do. Because I almost k*led myself because of her, and now she just makes my blood boil. I apologize if this is really stupid. I’ve told my mom about it but she doesn’t take it that seriously either. Oh and the teacher also would call me “miss (my first name)”, when she’d never cal any other student any pet names, and also would always talk to me with the door locked and would trash talk her colleagues and the school.

Guys, I'm in bit of a bind here I'm not flush with money but an avid gamer and have been, for a long long time. 15 years & Counting.
Story is gonna be long so please bear with me and be patient and help a fellow gamer.
Got an HP Z220 mini tower work station for almost 11000 pkr in 2019 (last I checked some sources online, same variant is going for around 35 k to 38 k now)
I'm 2019, it came with Xeon e3 1225 v2, 3.2 GHz (4 core, 4 threads) , 4 GB ddr3 ram, 500 gb hdd and 230 watt power supply. It had no built-in graphics capability so got a gt 710 1 gb too.
With the passage of time , I started upgrading it. Upgraded the ram from 4 GB to 16 GB. Got another 500 GB HDD , so 1 TB in Total.
Upgraded gt 710 1 gb to gt 1030 2gbs and 2 Rx 570 (Sapphire and XFX brand, Sapphire one worked only 3 weeks while xfx stayed faithful for 3 years)
I also upgraded the power supply to 400 watt branded (by branded, I mean system pulled hp compatible 400 watt power supply.)
Most expensive purchase or upgrade for the PC was getting a GTX 1660 super, which I got for around 45 k and I read somewhere that GPUs with higher tdp also need good power supply so also went and got a cooler master 500 watt rs-pcar-d3 power supply.
PC ran smooth for almost 8 months, during which I did some extensive gaming.
Played and finished A Plague Tale: Requiem on medium settings. (Although it did lag and stutter) Played Assassin's Creed Valhalla in it's entirety (Main Story, Story Expansion, DLCs, bonus missions, 250 hours). With high settings and 60 fps and many more AAA games.
One day, when I turned on PC, it got turned off automatically and when I turned it on , it went into a boot loop, power cycle frenzy.
Took it to a guy or wo jesy apni makhsoos professional zuban mein kehty hain k ic phuk gai to Yahan Wo bola k mobo k koi transistors ya resistors ya capacitors phuk gye hain. 1800 lgy ga, Bna Doon ga,
I said Bna dy.
He gave me 7 days checking warranty. PC ran smooth for 7 days and on 8th day, it went to the power cycling frenzy
Took it to a second guy, he said Teri power supply kharab ha. He tested it with bunch of his own power supplies, system still wasn't starting.
I told him story about first repair.
Maybe he understood the mutual lingo of PC technicians. He said , ban jye ga, 1500 lgy ga, he gave me 10 days checking warranty.
PC ran smooth for 10 days and on 11th day, it went again to boot loop.
Then I understood that these local PC technicians are making a very heavy chutia outta me.
Contacted some goras on Toms Hardware, their experts asked to send a high res photo of mobo, after I sent, they inspected it and said that there's really an issue with capacitors on mobo, no matter how many times I'll try and get it repaired. It is still gonna malfunction. They suggested me I'm better off getting a new PC altogether.
As I started this long post, I said that I'm not flush with money, I don't have 50 or 60 k pkr lying around to get a new PC.
Is there a way that I can salvage most of the parts from my old system, and just get a mobo, CPU and casing that is compatible with GTX 1660 super? In 10k or even less. I'm not flush with money but I love gaming.
I also want to add that Xeon e3 1225 v2 also didn't have the capacity to run Alan wake 2 because CPU didn't have AVX/AVX2 support. So I'd also prefer and appreciate an upgrade.

I can just use the function that comes with iPhone blocking caller. Those scammers get hundreds of new numbers each day, sometimes I get 10 scam calls a day and they are all new numbers... Never seem to get calls or texts from old scam numbers...
Is there any legitimate call/text blocking service that recognize scam numbers and block it automatically without $20-$30 monthly fee....? This service should really be provided by the phone service providers for free, but currently in Australia, except Telstra, none of them are doing it and I'm with Vodafone. And I'm not really sure about the call/text blocking service with Telstra and I dont want to switch provider just because Telstra have one but theirs might not work well...

I'm the sole IT admin for a 100 person company. We don't have an IT manager or Technology Director so I'm reporting directing into the Managing Director (long story: I'm effectively calling the shots and the MD signing off on it)
I've been using spiceworks as an organisation tool to help me track busy periods, ticket types ect so that i can know what types of jobs to spend more/less time on, ect. I went with it because its free and browser based so easy no cost set up. MD found out I've been using it for my own metrics and is asking if it can be rolled out to the entire company so users csn have more responsibility for their own IT issues as "send an email" isn't working.
Just looking for pros/cons for use as an official ticketing system for everyone to submit tickets. Everything right bow is an email request. Is spiceworks a good option, or should I chase up a better, paid option?

In the spirit of Linus saying on the latest WAN Show that he wanted the next post about ASUS to be positive, I wanted to give some surprising credit to Meta.
My Oculus Rift S stopped working some time last year and I recently finally had time to sit down and try to sort it out. It was having trouble with the USB connection and saying it couldn’t track properly, even though when you wore it and had the “triple dots” and moved your head around, it tracked perfectly - there was just no actual display.
I ended up contacting their support and running a boat load of different tests with it, checking drivers, sending log files, removing other peripherals, the lot, but nothing changed. This was a good few weeks of back and forth with their support team, progressively escalating. I was surprised they even helped that much for a nearly 5 year old device that was well out of warranty.
To my surprise, the next email I got was requesting serial numbers etc so they could RMA. Even then, I thought they would receive it, test it, say no fault found and return it to me. But no, they received it and immediately dispatched a replacement refurbished headset! I received it and it worked straight away.
Throughout the whole process I couldn’t believe they were even giving me the time of day, I couldn’t even give them proof of purchase, just a rough date from late 2019.
Meta (rightfully) gets a lot of stick for their other behaviours, but in this case I think they genuinely need some praise!

My friend (we’re both mid thirties) has a terrible boyfriend that she’s been with on and off for 5 years but has never been happy with - he’s emotionally abusive, financially controlling, and gaslights her over everything, making her feel insane. When they got back together after a few months break (which was supposed to be permanent) and he immediately continued the same behaviour, I’d made it clear that I could no longer support her when it came to her relationship with him: this was because for around a year before that she’d been calling me in tears late at night/early morning, several times a week after they’d had an argument, and I then supported her through the break up only for her to return to him. The amount of emotional bandwidth she relied on me for throughout that whole time was disproportionate and I couldn’t deal with it again, so that’s why I set the boundary. She has made something of a big deal about this at times, including at a hen party last year - and at another one she had a breakdown about her relationship generally. Sober, she usually respects the boundary, but lately she has been blurring the lines. A few months ago she told me several times that she’d be breaking up with him, while also telling another friend they were going to be buying a house and trying for a baby. She had started sending me the familiar “I need a friend, are you free” messages that I know are her wanting to discuss her relationship, and so I tell her I’m busy because I’ve made it so clear I don’t want any involvement, especially knowing that he hasn’t changed from things she has said, and things she has told our friends. I really value my friendships (I’m single and I have a small family), so this is hard for me, and the first time I have had to set such a boundary, let alone repeat myself on it. She is incapable of being without a boyfriend, and when she is single or not getting adequate attention from men she will demand it from me, and then disappear as soon as she gets the male attention again. I’ve accepted that, and we’re part of a long standing friendship group that I love, so I don’t want to cut her out of my life, but she is so intense and I’m sick of reminding her of the boundaries because I end up feeling like a total bitch. TL/DR: agent doesn’t communicate with us, advocate for us, we are under contract and don’t know what to do….
My family’s home is currently under contract. Our realtor has gone on extended travel 3 times this past month(once since we went under contract). They have not warned us of this and have not had a POC for the absence and communication has been very sparse to non-existent.
Since going under contract last week, the communication, lack thereof, from our realtor has been rather frustrating. We have not received any email from the transaction coordinator for what the process looks like. We have asked for details on inspection timelines, what to expect, etc, and have only received vague texts, and messages as if we are stupid and the emails have been sent(they haven’t). We’ve tried to call, we’ve asked them to call, but on Instagram, we can see they are having a fabulous vacation.
Through forwarded texts from our agent during this time, the buyers have asked us to leave several furnishings behind for free, we of course said no and gave them the option to buy them instead. They persisted on some other items for us to just leave. We told our realtor these requests were making us uncomfortable and concerned saying no to leaving our stuff for free might impact the sale of the home. We provided a list of items we are willing to sell, and if the buyers want furnishings, refer to the list, everything else goes. We asked our realtor to take over if anything else is requested to say no. She hasn’t and on 2 occasions, texted us saying buyers requested such and such items. This has my wife and I paranoid the buyers will pull out of the contract.
Our realtor has further texted us saying, “it’s normal to leave items (expensive) behind for free” uh, WHAT??? Aren’t agents supposed to advocate for their clients? And if it’s normal in this state, why was that not addressed when going over inclusions and exclusions prior to listing? We do not feel like our agent is advocating on our behalf at all. We were super impressed during our pitch meeting and had high hopes.
Sorry if this feels scrambled. We are scrambled and anxious. We have never had to deal with an agent with this lack of communication. What do we do? How do we tread lightly to not piss our agent off, but feel reassured through this process?

Notable gameplay mechanics: 2 castles, 1 on the left (yours) and 1 on the right (enemy), different levels (everytime you beat the enemy castle you automatically moved on to the next (harder) level, around 5-6 horizontal lines to send your hybrids on, they automatically walked to the right and fought enemy troops, each troop costs mana to send. between levels there was a shop with 3 animals and sometimes dragons (dragon were more for higher stages of the game) and when you had enough animals you could merge them into one and choose wich parts of the animal to use for which body part (lion head, bear body and swine legs etc.)
Other details: you could also send a fire ball or freeze spell with enough mana. the shop with animals refreshed every so mnay minutes or hours. there were a few types of dragons (fire, ice, poison) and they could only be merged with other dragons. better hybrids costed more mana to spawn.

We are trying to reconnect with family in Germany, contact was lost after wife's mother emigrated to the US. We will be traveling to Germany this summer. I don't know exact birthdates, just names and places. PStG § 62 says that records can be released 110 years after birth or 30 years after death. When I know an exact date, Standesämter have been willing to send records of people who died >30 years ago even if their birth was <110 years ago.
If I make an appointment to visit Standesamt Hannover, with names in hand, are they likely to search 1915 - 1925 and release records which PStG § 62 allows? Has anyone done this?
Emails to Standesamt Hannover have not gotten a response. I've been able to order Urkunden using their web form when I know an exact date, but can't express this research request using their web form.
