The link to where the comment is located is
here good luck finding it.
P.S. I was bored.
1.Flynn Thing---
The "disclosure" of a memo written by James B. Comey
Purportedly saying that President Trump had asked him to shut down the FBI’s investigation of former national security advisor Michael Flynn.
"Disclosure" = "Mr. Comey shared the existence of the memo with senior F.B.I. officials and close associates. The New York Times has not viewed a copy of the memo, which is unclassified, but one of Mr. Comey’s associates read parts of it to a Times reporter."
Evidence - Unable to be publicly verified, Word of Mouth IMO
- Mannafort Thing -
Terrible article given as an example. The NY Times
article claiming Mannafort had been paid $12.7 million by pro-Russia officials from Ukraine is much better.
According to wiki, "Paul Manafort was previously an adviser to the U.S. presidential campaigns of Republicans Gerald Ford, Ronald Reagan, George H. W. Bush, and Bob Dole..."
From the article(s): "Manafort often lobbied on behalf of controversial foreign leaders such as former President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych, former dictator of the Philippines Ferdinand Marcos, dictator of the former Democratic Republic of the Congo Mobutu Sese Seko, and Angolan guerrilla leader Jonas Savimbi. Lobbying to serve the interests of foreign governments requires registration with the Justice Department under the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA);
however, as of June 2, 2017, Manafort had not registered...
On June 27 he
retroactively registered as a foreign agent."
Side Note:
Also worthy to bring up the Ukranian coup in 2014 was the end result of a proxy war between the US and Russia it seems, with the US coming out on top and the end result being the Ukraine is now a US political puppet state.
wiki - "in February 2014, when a series of violent events involving protesters, riot police, and unknown shooters in the capital, Kiev, culminated in the ousting of the Ukrainian President, Viktor Yanukovych.(Who Mannafort lobbied for) Many sources have suggested Russian government support for Yanukovych led to his ousting."
In a recent talk abot foreign policy with the CFR Joe Biden discussed widtholding loans from Ukraine in order to force ousting of certain political figures.
Quote taken from
official transcript of the event "...that was the assignment I got. I got all the good ones. And so I got Ukraine. And I remember going over, convincing our team, our leaders to—convincing that we should be providing for loan guarantees. And I went over, I guess, the 12th, 13th time to Kiev. And I was supposed to announce that there was another billion-dollar loan guarantee. And I had gotten a commitment from Poroshenko and from Yatsenyuk that they would take action against the state prosecutor. And they didn’t.
So they said they had—they were walking out to a press conference. I said, nah, I’m not going to—or, we’re not going to give you the billion dollars. They said, you have no authority. You’re not the president. The president said—I said, call him. (Laughter.) I said, I’m telling you, you’re not getting the billion dollars. I said, you’re not getting the billion. I’m going to be leaving here in, I think it was about six hours. I looked at them and said: I’m leaving in six hours. If the prosecutor is not fired, you’re not getting the money. Well, son of a bitch. (Laughter.) He got fired. And they put in place someone who was solid at the time."
Another interesting tidbit:
Quote from BBC "Burisma, a private oil and gas company in Ukraine, announced this week that it has appointed Hunter Biden, the youngest son of US Vice President Joe Biden, to its board of directors."
This was right after the 2014 Ukranian coup.
These were just added for context, I'm not claiming an opintion on them but giving an example of how geo-politics sometimes works.
Evidence - Much of the documentation on Manafort is still being scrutinized from the FBI and not availible to the public, but in my opinion it doesn't look good for Manafort and, in turn, Trump. Intentionally against US geopolitical interests or not, Mannafort was definitly working with a pro Russian Ukrainian politician the US doesn't like.
This is not evidence of Russian collusion by the way, it will just look bad politically for trump to be associated with Mannafort if he is found guilty This has been clarified in the comments. Thanks to RocketSurgeon22.
- Tillerson thing
Apparently to Tillerson Trump didn't press Putin "too hard" on the Russian Hacking
Evidence : Damn LOCK THAT TRAITOR UP NOW! /s
- Sessions thing
From the article given:
"The FBI and Congress are examining a campaign event last spring during which Donald Trump, Jeff Sessions and Jared Kushner were in a small gathering with Russian ambassador to the U.S. Sergey Kislyak and other diplomats at Washington’s Mayflower Hotel, multiple U.S. officials told NBC News.
Five current and former U.S. officials said they are aware of classified intelligence suggesting there was some sort of private encounter between Trump and his aides and the Russian envoy...
The officials acknowledged to NBC News that the evidence does not amount to proof, and they have declined to provide details about it."
Evidence - The private encounter is unable to be publicly verified (hearesay). However, Sessions did fail to disclose two separate contacts with Kislyak.
5.Kushner thing
According to the article:
"Donald Trump Jr, Jared Kushner and Paul Manafort met with a Russian lawyer shortly after Donald Trump won the Republican nomination, it has emerged, in what appears to be the earliest known private meeting between key aides to the president and a Russian. Representatives of Donald Trump’s eldest son and son-in-law confirmed the June 2016 meeting."
From other articles:
The Russian lawyer also confirmed the meeting in an
interview with Bloomberg.
Bloomberg - "Veselnitskaya says she told the president’s son she had information that Clinton’s campaign may have received some of almost $1 billion the wealthy Ziff brothers gained from Russian investments that allegedly evaded U.S. taxes."
Also of note: "Veselnitskaya is defending a Russian businessman in the U.S. on a money-laundering case related to the Magnitsky law. It was settled out of court this year without an admission of guilt...
Magnitsky Law This law, which Veselnitskaya has been campaigning against, targets Russian officials in retaliation for the death of Sergei Magnitsky, a tax accountant who worked for U.S.-born fund manager William Browder. His Hermitage Capital was once the biggest foreign-portfolio investor in Russia. Ziff Brothers Investments LLC invested in Russia with Browder using offshore entities, Veselnitskaya has said.
Magnitsky died in a Moscow prison in 2009 after uncovering what he said was a tax fraud that diverted $230 million of Russian state funds into the pockets of a handful of civil servants. The 2012 U.S. law named after him incensed the Kremlin, which then banned adoptions from Russia to the U.S., further straining ties between Washington and Moscow."
Fun Fact : "Ziff Brothers Investments has contributed to Republicans and Democrats since the 2012 election cycle, according to the non-partisan Center for Responsive Politics. It gave between $50,000 and $100,000 to the Clinton Global Initiative and made modest donations to the presidential campaigns of Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton.
Evidence - Yeah the meeting definitely took place. The article posted that Trump Jr. was "Promised damaging info on Hillary" uses only anonomous sources to verify the claim (hearsay).
However, the Bloomberg interview with the Russian lawyer seems to support the claim that the meeting was also about getting dirt on the Hillary Campaign.
And now HERE IS THE REAL PROOF. Donald trump Jr.
released the emails that actually prove an attempt to get dirt on H-Rod's campaign. Despite the fact that the attempted dirt gathering didn't seem to pan out.
- Wray Thing
Breakdown:
The firing of Comey and the appointment of Wray was because of Comey's unprofessional handling of the Clinton email case as originally stated by the administration.
However trump had a freudian slip in an
interview with CNN saying he had also considered, "this Russian thing" when dismissing him.
Personal opinion: I actually believe that Comey did mishandle the Clinton email investigation and it would be fine to fire him on that alone. However, to do it to possibly stall the probe into russian influence of the election is a big fucking No-No in my book.
I hope Wray sticks by his words that he wont cause any interference with the investigation of Russian meddling in the election, and possible ties between Russia and the Trump campaign.
"I would consider an effort to tamper with Director Mueller’s investigation to be unacceptable and inappropriate and would need to be dealt with very sternly and appropriately indeed,” Wray told the Judiciary Committee.
But I'm not holding my breath.
- Morgan, Lewis, & Bockius "Russian Law Firm of the Year" Thing
From the article posted:
"The lawyers who drafted a letter for President Trump declaring that he no [sic] significant financial ties to Russia work for a company that received an award for “Russia Law Firm of the Year” in 2016."
This is misleading as the lawfirm Morgan, Lewis & Bockius is a global law firm with its headquarters in Philadelphia whose Russian branch in Moscow won the award.
Personal opinion: While I know it might seems suspicious, if I was to clear up my financial ties in foreign contries I would prefer to work with a lawfirm that understands the laws of those countries. Make of it what you will.
- Carter Page Thing
The
article posted states that the FBI have repeatedly questioned former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page about possible Russian connections to associates of President Trump.
Carter Page didn't have an attorney present and no information of wrongdoing was found.
Evidence - Of what? A guy getting interviewed by the FBI?
- Roger Stone Thing
Roger Stone won’t be testifying later this month before a key House panel in its Russia investigation... Rep. Adam Schiff, the top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, appeared to confirm the delay during an interview with CNN on Friday, even while adding that Stone can still expect to be get a request to appear before the panel.
“Mr. Stone will certainly be coming,” the California Democrat said. “He’s very much a person of interest.”
“The reality is we have a certain order in terms of receiving documents,” Schiff added. “Our decisions on schedules are made on what’s best for the basis of the investigation.”
Evidence - Stone's testimony was postponed so they can gather more evidence. Whoop-de-fucking-do.
10.Felix Sater Thing
"Russia-born real estate dealmaker Felix Sater, who allegedly has organized crime links, had agreed to assist in an international probe into a Kazakh family’s real estate dealings in the U.S. — including one of Trump’s most famed properties, the Trump SoHo in downtown New York City... [In which] Sater worked to construct"
"Before working with the Trumps—and with the Bayrock Group, which is based two floors below the president’s office in Trump Tower—Sater previously worked on Wall Street and became involved in money laundering and stock fraud, which eventually led to him becoming an informant for the U.S. government."
" Sater will cooperate with a probe into former Kazakh government minister Viktor Khrapunov and his family for spending millions on real estate in the U.S. via front companies. Sater is supposed to work with attorneys and investigators on cases spanning three continents."
"Records show that the Khrapunovs purchased three luxury apartments in the Trump SoHo in April 2013 at a grand total price of $3.1 million."
Evidence - Sater a shady real estate mogul/wall street money man with turned US informant is cooperating in a government probe of a Kazakh government official who owns apartments at one of Trump's properties. Not yet really evidence of Russian collusion. Maybe the purchase was above board - maybe it wasn't.
As for Sater's ties to organized crime and the kgb I cannot verify.
11.Boris Epshteyn Thing
Former White House press officer Boris Epshteyn to be questioned in Russia probe.
Evidence - Nothing, they just asked him to testify.
12.Rosneft Thing
New head of the FBI Christopher Wray's Atlanta based lawfirm King and Spalding has a Moscow office that represents Rosneft and Gazprom, two of Russia’s largest state-controlled oil companies. This firm also represents large American companies like Monsanto, The Coca-Cola Company, Chevron Corporation and General Motors.
Evidence of russion collusion? Idk make of it what you will.
13.Gazprom Thing
Carter William Page an American oil industry consultant and a former foreign-policy adviser to Donald Trump during his 2016 Presidential election campaign.
More comprehensive article on the guy From this article :"Page’s biography on the website of his energy fund, Global Energy Capital, hits all the right notes. It was, at first glance, the résumé of an up-and-coming player in the opaque but lucrative Russian energy market. “He spent 7 years as an investment banker at Merrill Lynch in London, Moscow and New York where he most recently served as Chief Operating Officer of the Energy and Power Group... He was involved in over $25 billion of transactions in the energy and power sector. He spent 3 years in Moscow where he was responsible for the opening of the Merrill office and was an advisor on key transactions for Gazprom, RAO UES and others...
Those were some of the biggest energy deals of the 2000s"
Evidence - Yeah he definitely worked with Gazprom and probably Rosneft. This could be spun two ways; Implication of Russian collusion or trying to build economic ties with Russia. Make of it what you will.
- Sergey Gorkov banker Thing
Trump’s son-in-law and senior adviser, Jared Kushner, met with an influential Russian state banking chief Sergey Gorkov appointed by Russian President Vladimir Putin himself in December 2016 one month before the innaguration.
"He was appointed by Putin’s decree to replace long-serving VEB chief Vladimir Dimitriev as the head of the bank last year in a show of confidence in his abilities at a time of economic strife in Russia. VEB’s role has been instrumental in seeking new sources of foreign capital for the Russian economy since 2014, when a handful of Kremlin-supported businesses came under U.S. and Western sanctions in response to Moscow’s annexation of Crimea.
It is these sanctions that some officials, including Russian Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov, hoped Trump would lift once in office."
Evidence - Once again this could be spun two ways; Implication of Russian collusion or trying to build economic ties with Russia. Make of it what you will.
- Azerbaijan Thing
"the ranking Democratic members of the Senate’s Foreign Relations, Banking, and Judiciary committees have written a joint letter to several Trump Administration officials asking them to address the possibility that the Trump Organization violated several laws in its dealings in
Azerbaijan...
The senators wrote, “It appears that the lack of due diligence by the Trump Organization described in the article exposed President Trump and his organization to notoriously corrupt Azerbaijani oligarchs, and may also have exposed the Trump Organization to the IRGC”—the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps.
“Even though the Trump Organization appears to have withdrawn from the Baku Tower deal, serious questions remain unanswered about the Trump Organization’s potential criminal liability.”
Breakdown : Ivanka Trump headed up a building project in Azerbaijan in partnership with the son of a member of Azerbaijan's parliament "who had an ongoing business relationship with an Iranian construction company, Azarpassillo, which shows many of the hallmarks of being a front for the Revolutionary Guard." The IRGC is part of Iran's military.
So Trump's Organization may have become entangled with an IRGC front organization in violation of U.S. sanctions.
Also, " At time of publication, representatives for the Republican committee chairs had yet to respond to the call for an investigation."
Evidence - Does not pertain to Russian election meddeling. Kind of a stretch but there could be something there.
16."I Love Putin" Thing
Trump has repeatedly discussed putin in a positive light.
Evidence - Must be a Russian stooge.
17.
Lavrov Thing The Washington Post claims that Trump revealed highly classified information to Russian foreign minister and ambassador Sergey Lavrov, with CNN parroting the story.
CNN has not independently verified The Washington Post's report that Trump relayed code-word information jeopardizing a critical source of intelligence on ISIS, but Trump's criticism of Clinton's handling of classified information during the campaign are well documented and add a sense of irony to Monday's reporting. Evidence - From the original WaPo article: "according to current and former U.S. officials" So bugger all really.
18.
Sergey Kislyak Thing The article is mostly about Kislyak's return to Russia and the controversy surrounding him.
However, from the article:
"There’s no public evidence that Kislyak was actually involved in Russia’s hack of the US election — or any other kind of wrongdoing, for that matter. The best evidence that Kislyak is involved is the fact that his name just keeps coming up in the various investigations. But you don’t need to posit some kind of John Le Carré conspiracy theory, where Kislyak is the puppet master pulling the strings of a vast White House–Kremlin plot, to explain why. Kislyak is the highest-ranking Russian official in Washington, making him the natural point of contact for people like Flynn, Sessions, and Kushner...
They made the choice to meet with him and lie about it (in the case of Flynn and Sessions) or propose something inappropriate (in the case of Kushner). Kislyak did nothing wrong by choosing to sit down with them."
Evidence - Well the refusal to acknowledge the meetings and the "inappropriate proposal" (LOL) are definitely suspect. To play devils advocate Flynn and Sessions could have just not wanted the inevitable political backlash, which was still a stupid move on their part.
The "Kushner proposal"
from the WaPo only lists "U.S. officials briefed on intelligence reports." and "intercepts of Russian communications that were reviewed by U.S. officials." as evidence of the proposal.
- The Oval Office Thing
This is actually a repeat of #17
Evidence - "according to current and former U.S. officials."
That's my partial breakdown - a whole lot of nothing and a little of something, possibly.
Hi, I have been torrenting relatively small amounts of movies, tv shows (probably ~10gb a week). I don't have my own credit card so I cannot buy any private/anonomous services. The programs I am currently using: peerBlock with lots of anti-p2p lists which are updated every time I open them. Each time I go to torrent I also use a high speed SOCKS4/5 free proxy server (I get excellent speeds!!). My isp is Comcast and I also plan to do some very light torrenting in college (the college is not super strict on torrenting but I don't want to run into problems with them).
