2024.05.14 02:46 896_Diffident_Monad 26 [M4F] GA/TN/SC, USA Looking for my better half Car shows, custom PCs, gaming, anime, adventures, travel...a life together! 😁

(My profile is tagged N-S-F-W because I also post these in dirtyr4r since some have actually had luck finding something serious there. Figured it's worth a shot, haha.)
I'm searching for the kind of wonderful woman who shares most of my interests below in addition to her hobbies and interests, who's also goofy, likes to playfully insult each other, and also believes in open and honest communication. I believe with that, we can work out any problems when they arise. 💛
• I'm a gamer, car guy, and maybe one day, a musician too. I enjoy anime, nature, going on little adventures, swimming, traveling... I wanna see the world with you before all the beautiful sights are gone. - Current games I've focused on lately is Helldivers 2 and Deep Rock Galactic. If you wanna play those together, that would be awesome! I would also eventually like to play other things together like Stardew Valley, Minecraft, Terraria, etc. - My taste is music is nearly everything except country and today's rap. To name a few bands/musicians I really love: Led Zeppelin, Arctic Monkeys, Tame Impala, The White Stripes, The Raconteurs, Queens of the Stone Age, Mac Demarco, Them Crooked Vultures, and Metronomy.
• I want to dance with you. In the living room, bedroom, back yard, in the park, almost anywhere. I enjoy doing romantic things and expressing my love. I love deep conversations that distract us from the passing of time.
• I'm a dog person because my allergies chose to target cats for whatever reason, so there's that. 😅
• I'm monogamous and don't have children currently, but they're in my future plans, probably within the next 6 years. I want to spend plenty of time with, well it might be you, and enjoy the best of life as a couple, and then as spouses, traveling and whatnot, before we start a family. 🤗
• I'm really hoping to find someone who's also into dirty humor (amongst other forms of humor) and has mutual...interests 😏 so we have even better compatibility in the bedroom (and sometimes away from home too). I usually have a high labido, but I only want to get intimate when we're both comfortable and ready. 👉👈
• Specs for those who would like them: - 6 feet tall (about 183 cm). - 219 lbs and dropping (about 99 kg). ~ My figure is very dad-bod at the moment, but apparently it comes with a nice ass (so I'm told). ~ This is close to the most I've ever weighed, and I'm not happy with it. I'm targeting somewhere around 170 lbs (about 77 kg). - Brunette/dirty blonde, kept relatively short. - Blue eyes. - Caucasian.
• I have learned the hard way that I do have a type. I used to date outside that type, and it only led to hurt feelings, so I don't want to repeat that. That being said, my type is Caucasian or East Asian ranging from petite to average body type. I don't love going to the gym, but if you have or want a membership I would be open to going together. 😁 I apologize if my preferences differ from who you are. You're all beautiful people, regardless! Please love yourself and enjoy the time you're given in life! 💛
Chat with ya soon! 😁

2024.05.14 02:07 Cheap-Essay4822 Maintaining bleach blonde hair on a trip

I am leaving for a program in Spain for 5 weeks. I regularly get my hair dyed blonde monthly and hair grows pretty slow. However I want to go more natural blonde so the roots won’t be too obvious. Do any stylists have any suggestions so my blonde hair can still look good for longer than a month?

2024.05.14 01:04 itsfinebutareyouok Men opinions needed

MALE BRAINS NEEDED since they are apparently superior and bigger than those of women anyways lol jk So there is this brother in our congregation who had a failed relationship with a JW girl rumours say she cheated some say they both did who knows anyways...He really liked this one... So he generally has an obsession with blonde girls with blue eyes and he basically replaced the previous gf with a virgin copy lol... This guy has done some pretty bad things but he gets away with it bc of pretty privilege. When he goes out with his friends he shamelessly says that he finds other women hot and that he would marry for ex.a hot blonde nurse etc when he has just announced about his plans to ask this girl to marry him. He also said that is really important that the man is the head of the family and that women should obey that's how nature made things and that he doesn't give everything to his girlfriend... Anyways like three months ago when asked about her he would say that it's just a get to know her thing nothing serious and he would flirt with others aswell... I don't really know how this goes but in my opinion when you're trying to marry someone aren't you supposed to show respect to them by not commenting another women especially in front of a wide circle of your friends? Also his mother a few months ago had told me that he is not inlove with her...wtf Idk how can you marry someone you don't love just because they fit your ideal beauty standard ? Also when he is asked for ex if he will go visit her he is like yeah we will see ... It's so weird BC he seems so uninterested but interested at the same time... By the way as a woman I have had friends who are in just a relationship and some married but they never commented on hot hot otheren were and generally aren't couples who are about to get married supposed to be more loyal and like obsessed with eachother... He also never posts her he might repost her stories If she tags him but never just the two of them... I get finding.other people attractive but where do you guys draw the line ? He is a retired fboy btw

2024.05.14 01:02 Alive_Constant6093 good natured feedback 🫶🏼

i just wanna discuss an unfortunate bias i’ve noticed in a lot of RC stories. i do love this app; they have amazing stories and are extremely generous to their users. i also recognize the hardwork put into these stories. however, a lot of CGs seem to be defaulted to light, smooth textured hair even when you choose an MC and hairstyle that should reflect otherwise. obviously people with darkedeeper complexions can absolutely have naturally blonde and straight hair BUT i feel they should be more mindful of the representation for different hair types, ESPECIALLY if i am paying diamonds for the scene, the CG, and the hairstyle. for an example, i attached a CG from HSR vs what my MC actually looks like.. does anyone else feel this way? again, i love the app and am very grateful to the developers and writers. this just a peeve of mine that ive noticed in many stories

2024.05.14 00:45 Apethatic Wanting to be different at all cost even if it means being mentally ill and its causing me anhedonia

I'm struggling to be different. Looking for any type of sickness to justify that and mental illness is the easiest.
So try to find find any symptoms in me and apply it in a mental disorder like self diagnosis.
I look the most rare ones and see the symptoms if not met or only some of them. I see the causes to force them in my life just trying to get it.
Till now i diagnosed myself with: ARFID eating disorder, visual snow syndrom not metal, anhodenia extreme depprestion and OCD.
Even trying to make my hair more blond naturally.
I try to stay away from therapy and real diagnoses BC i don't want the result to be negative. THERAPY IS NOT AN OPTION. Even if i want to there are none near my area.
I want to be different but i don't want to die BC of it. Is there any cure for that type of obsession?

2024.05.14 00:37 OTF98121 How to safely return to my natural blond?

I’m hoping you can help me decide what to do…. I’ve been naturally light blond all my life. I had cancer and lost all my hair during chemotherapy (I’m fine now). Once I was done with treatment, my hair changed color and grew out as an ashy medium brown color. To warm it up, I’ve been using toners as a sheer color to make it look a little more copper. Toners are semi-permanent, so although most the color is gone within 6 weeks, some residual color remains on virgin hair.
Now it’s three years later and my roots have been growing progressively lighter, as if my natural hair color is healing. I’m guessing I’m currently a level 7-8 blond now.
How can I safely remove the toner color to go back to blond? I’d prefer not to bleach or damage my hair if at all possible.

2024.05.13 23:33 OtherInvestment4251 Did my old friends hair

Did my old friends hair
She wasn’t happy with what she had. The previous stylist didn’t lighten her roots enough and it was extremely yellow and brassy in those areas and her roots were super grown out. She asked me to fix it and cut it.
She asked me for a dark blonde similar to her natural, but with my experience this big change usually ends up being a shock for the client because it’s a huge adjustment, so I like to educate them on that and go a bit lighter at first. It’s much easier to darken again then it is to lighten it again and that’s the opposite of what we want if we’re trying to get back to a healthy state.
This was the before and afters.
I haven’t done hair in almost 1.5 years because after I had my 2yo iv just been home!
I’m proud of the outcome! Lmk what you guys think!

2024.05.13 23:07 abs5228 Colour Correction

Colour Correction
2 years ago when trying to go back from being bleach blonde to my natural colour (dirty blonde), a hairstylist screwed up and dyed my hair nearly black.
Now, I’ve slowly been in the process of getting my hair back to my natural colour by adding balayage highlights. It’s looking much better but what I hate is the in between pieces that aren’t highlighted have turned a super brassy/orange colour that are nowhere close to my root colour. The photos show the difference. What would you suggest I ask for next time I get my hair coloured?
My goal is to get back to my natural dirty blonde colour with just a few rooted highlights.

2024.05.13 22:37 xanthochrome Which Lisa Eldridge lip colors?

I'm pale, neutral-to-slightly-cool, naturally blonde, blue-eyed. I'm mostly low contrast but with slightly darker eyebrows than you would expect for my hair and skin color. I think I'm a "light summer" in color season land and my best match right now is mixing the NARS tinted moisturized in 0/Finland (too dark and too yellow) with the Ilia skin tint in 0.5/Skye (a bit too light in summer, good in winter). I haven't used anything from MAC in a long time but I recall being NW10-13. Back when Sephora had the Pantone Color IQ thing I was matched as a 1Y01.
After being a fan of Lisa Eldridge's videos for a long time, I've decided to finally purchase a few things to wear to work in a casual office. I usually don't use lip color so am looking for something a little brightening but still natural-ish and easy so have decided to purchase one Luxuriously Lucent formula and one Gloss Embrace. I'm now debating colors and am hoping for advice!
For Luxuriously Lucent colors that are in stock right now, I think I've narrowed it down to Rose Official and Love of my Life. For Gloss Embrace, I think I've narrowed it down to Pompadour, Blush Lightly, Beauty, and Songbird. I would appreciate any thoughts!

2024.05.13 22:24 Little-Baby666 How do I remove black dye?

Every time I use color oops it turns reddish blond and slowly oxidizes to brown after a few days. I’m looking to go back to my natural color which is an auburn/strawberry blond , I cannot bleach my hair right now as it is way too damaged and has been bleached many times before the black box dye so I’m wondering if their is a better color remover then color oops? Any advice is appreciated

2024.05.13 22:04 elfruler2002 How to prevent breakage when brushing/detangling wet hair?

Hair history/details:
I have extremely fine, straight (1b/1c) hair. My hair is currently reaching my shoulder blades. I have always struggled to grow long hair - my hair has never gotten much longer than my current length. I have a blunt cut because my hair is too thin for layers. I have been routinely coloring my hair blonde every 3 to 4 months since I was twelve years old (I am 21 now). My natural hair color was blonde as a child and got darker as I got older. It is now a very dirty blonde. I generally wash my hair every other day, and I use the Amika Color Lock shampoo and conditioner. I use the Amika clarifying shampoo and hair mask once a week, though in the past five months or so, I have been very inconsistent about it due to depression. I typically blow dry my hair after a shower, but I let my hair mostly air dry first. I’ve used several different heat protectants - right now, I’m using the Amika Wizard Detangler and the Tresemme heat protectant spray.
Here is my problem: my hair is EXTREMELY prone to tangling and always has been. Even my hairdresser has remarked on how easily it tangles. I know that straight hair is most vulnerable to breakage when wet, but if I don’t brush my hair out immediately after getting out of the shower, it dries into a tangled rats’ nest. Because of this, I have always detangled/brushed out my hair wet using a Wet Brush. Recently, however, I have been experiencing significantly more breakage than usual. My best guess as to why is because of a recent depressive episode I have been in (I haven’t been taking good care of my haidoing my usual routine, and I’ve been eating like crap). I have been trying to grow my hair out, but the breakage is so bad that I am planning on cutting my hair because the ends are that messed up.
I am looking for advice on how to minimize damage when brushing my hair wet.

2024.05.13 21:48 Technical-Push9788 considering going blonde ?

considering going blonde ?
so i was playing around with faceapp and trying to see what i would look like blonde. you can swipe to see my natural hair color which is dark brown ! i honestly kind of like it but there have been people who’ve said it washes me out. i have completely virgin hair, never done anything to it before. so i guess i have two questions: does it look horrible on me/will it wash me out given my pale skin and what would the process, cost, and upkeep be like if i were to go blonde ? thanks in advance to all of you <3

2024.05.13 21:47 tinybabywolverine Best method to lighten dyed black hair to a darker brown?

Hi. My hair is naturally brown and a few months ago I bleached it. Prior to dying, it was about half brown and half blonde, and is now fully black—way too dark imo. This was all done professionally.
What would you recommend I do to lift it to a dark brown color? I’m not looking to lighten it a ton, just to a more natural dark brown.
I wash my hair daily, get decent sun exposure, and have a pool so chlorine already lightens my hair a bit.
Are there any surefire ways to get this done fast? If I messaged my stylist, would they be able to easily lift it with color products?—paying for it wouldn’t be a deterrent.
Thanks.

2024.05.13 21:11 Legal_Law_9541 How to Date Above Your League

I can't commit to an AMA, but I thought this would help others. Don't mean to boast/flex as you'll see from my description below:
Why you might want to listen to me:
I'm just a hair short of 5'4", a school teacher who was broke as in had less than <$1K USD in savings and $50K in debt in my mid-thirties, small dick, no muscles, no game, can't sing or dance, & a jungle Asian (think Cambodian, Filipino, Burmese). The latter is meant to point out it's not the Korean trend that's driving this.
My girl is 5'6"—5'7", 10+ years younger than me, slim, blue-eyed blonde from one of the wealthiest Western European countries with a C/D chest, long legs that go above my stomach, a nice, shapely ass, and perfect hourglass waist/hips. Face-wise, imagine Nicole Kidman and Taylor Swift had a baby. To top it all off, she has a fancy job and makes much more than me, and her family is wealthy, while I grew up on food stamps and attended a low-income school.
My Advice:
The bad news is that I attribute getting her to luck, but here are some things I did right:
  1. This sounds counter-intuitive but pursue only physical 8s and higher. The most attractive women are less impervious to the social stigma of dating a guy who looks like me; they know they can pretty much get any type of guy they want; they don't need the social validation of an attractive man because they get the validation every day. In contrast, a guy like me will only remind an average woman of her plainness.
  2. Geographic arbitrage. Yes, passport bros get a bad rep, but you can be a passport bro to another wealthy country (I'm US-based, so I'm using the US as a baseline). It doesn't have to be Eastern Europe, Southeast Asia, or LatAm.
I would avoid the Anglo countries and focus on women from more egalitarian countries or ones that aren't as hung up on status and prestige (so avoid the big capitals or any city that's sexy).
If you're in the US, NYC, Boston, or SF are big no-nos. In a place like Boston, where you went to school matters so unless you've got the Ivy pedigree, I would skip.
  1. Related to geography is to consider women from smaller towns/villages. They'll tend to be more down-to-earth, and you might be more of a novelty.
  2. You'll be rejected most of the time, so you need to keep at it and not become resentful, bitter, or angry. The negative emotions will surface in your future interactions with women.
Keep approaching because you won't match with most women, even if you get along.
  1. The most important trait I think I had (and I only acquired this in my early 30s) was being comfortable with myself/not caring what others thought. I don't like the word "confidence" because it's too vague. This means not trying to be someone you're not, not trying to show off. Don't mention your job or educational pedigree unless it comes up naturally and definitely not as a way to convey your value.
I conveyed my "value" by making quips, observations, and stories about mundane conversation topics that made her laugh. I asked lots of questions that invited her to delve into what she really thought about various topics and asked for her advice/opinion to get her to open up, feel comfortable, and show that I consider her a peer even with our age gap.
You're doing it right if she's doing most of the talking. Don't mansplain, talk at her, or lecture.
As luck would have it, I quoted from a book that she happened to like. Don't try to force something witty you have in your head. Let your conversation flow naturally.
Don't be self-deprecating in the beginning. If you're short or overweight, don't bring it up. You can joke about that later.
Don't shit-talk others; people who shit on strangers who aren't hurting them are insecure/projecting something rotten about themselves.
  1. Talk to and compliment (sincerely) strangers (cash registers are the best) whether it's someone you're romantically interested in or not. This will sharpen your conversation skills. Talk to other men just to shoot the shit. This will put you in a good frame of mind/mood.
  2. Aim for coffee dates rather than dinner, or if the latter, you will be the one to cut the evening short. Have the mentality that you have enough to talk about that it can wait until the next date.
Hope y'all find some of these helpful.

2024.05.13 20:54 Anxious_Ad_914 Patchy Brazilian- laser hair

Hi all,
I’ve been getting laser hair removal for a Brazilian for months now, I’ve done about 8 sessions. I’m fair skinned and a natural blonde but the hair down there is brown. The hair gets super patchy a couple weeks after the treatments then always grows back in. Does this mean it’s not working? It costs a lot of money so if I need to switch clinics I don’t want to wait till 10-12 rounds and still have hair.

2024.05.13 20:23 SpotTheHalfBlindFox Help me find an 11+ year old pixelart style computer video game that reminds me of Alice in wonderland

I have a few very vague memories of an aunt playing a video game on her laptop. I'm 18 now and was 7 at the oldest then, so I apologize for the very small amount of information. And take everything with a grain of salt, little me wasn't really expecting to be trying to find this game 11+ years later, lol.
From what I remember, the game was either pixelart or very low poly. The main character you play as was a younger (?) girl that reminded me of Alice. Blonde + blue dress with a lighter blue on the front of the dress, I think. The game had a dark fantasy aesthetic. I remember one specific scene where the main character was looking for some item, I think a newspaper. To get that item you had to open an outhouse (?) or some other kind of small wooden structure, where some creature would jump out and run passed you. If I remember right you usually had to fight them, but this one just ran. In my mind the head of that creature looks like the head of the b-1 series battle droids from starwars. Long, non-human and non-natural. I think it was either brown or gray, could be mistaken. At another point I think you had to find a key? Maybe those two events went together. It was mostly 3rd person with some scenes that were first person, like when interacting with things.
I've tried looking for this online before, and the only result I got was Alice: madness returns, but I'm positive that's not it. I also don't think it's American McGee's Alice. I wish I could remember more. Thanks in advance for any comments!
