Recently (on April 30) I picked up the Steelbook Blu-ray for Andor season 1. It looks nice, and the special featurettes on Disc one are neat, but otherwise nothing too fancy.
Problem is, I just discovered that disc two gives an error and doesn't play for me. And it doesn't play in two different Blu-ray players.
And I actually picked up two sets, and the error with disc two occurs in both sets.
Now I'm guessing since I bought both from the same store (a Best Buy in Western Canada) that they are from the same lot, so it's maybe not surprising (but extremely disappointing) that both are defective...
But, is this a widespread issue? There is some internet chatter in other forums suggesting it may be.
So if you bought a set and haven't watched it yet, you might want to check on your disc two sooner rather than later!

Im curious to know what programs you guys are following for those who are 1-2+ years into pullup/handstand pushup training.
Currently my PR for pullups is 110lb 1RM but for working sets my PR is 70lbs x 8. PR for floor handstand pushups is 9 reps. Ive been training calisthenics for almost 2 years now.
Currently this is my program: (Workout every other day) For pullups: Day 1: 3 sets to failure 5 min rest Day2: 10 sets of however many consistent reps i can do, 1 min rest Day 3: 1 rep, 2,3, etc until i cant anymore, repeat 2 more times (30s rest)
For HSPUs: 3-4sets to failiure, 4-5 min rest
Of the weeks that ive been dialed in (good nutrition, good sleep) ive seen good progress, in 2 weeks i went from 5,5,4 (day 1) to 8,7,6 for pullups. For HSPUs, i went from 5 reps to 9 reps in about 2-3 weeks.
Although ive seen good progress with this program, i doubt its anywhere close to optimal. So let me know what your program looks like!

So, this is going to be long because context is important. Me and my ex started dating almost 3 years ago and after 2 years and 8 months in the relationship we broke up. During this, we had no problems for over a year and a half and then had some communication issues some of it catalysed by her controlling parents. They were straight up racist after they found out that I was not of the same nationality as them, and without even meeting m, they insinuated to not be in the relationship subliminally or keep her options open.
For context, they are Asian parents who were non-confrontational her whole life and a lot of that showed in her character, She never ever wanted to communicate through a problem, always hung up, always got mad when I brought something up that needed talking about. Her parents are the type to immediately tell her to read the bible if they see her distressed without offering any solace. They don't like when she cried and stuff like that.
I loved her a lot. I went above and beyond for her as per her own confession, no one else had done before. For the first year, I was appreciated for always communicating and just always being straight up with everything. The best way to describe how I was as a bf is that I had boundaries but I respected those same boundaries myself and also I was VERY VERY reassuring of the security of our relationship and I went above and beyond AS MUCH as I could and I really mean that. I was very loving, all I asked was to be reassured as well.
For most of our relationship we were long distance, as we started our relationship in person and I had to go to Uni in another country. I would visit twice a year for a month at a time during which I hung out with her all the time (4-5 times a week). And even in long distance, I structured my schedule and she did as well for the most part to make sure we spent 4 hours + every single day talking and we GENUINELY enjoyed each other's company a lot. For the duration of our relationship we spoke for hours every single day. Chemistry wise, it was undeniable.
Fast forward, So then after my last visit, I noticed she was distant, constantly expressing some sort of negative feelings towards me. I could tell she was distancing and I dealt with that even with support because I asked her why she was feeling a bit distant, she kept saying 'idk' and so I just offered support as she was having exam stress at the time too. To this day I don't know why she distanced. And then finally as she was bringing up stuff that 'she wished could be different' which were all out of my control, I asked her to call it and break up if she valued these things that much, which could be solved all with time, mind you. One was the distance, which weirdly wasn't a problem before and if anything I only had 1 year of uni left. It felt like she was trying to throw reasons like a dart to a wall to see what sticks. And at this point, if we broke up, it would be cordial.
About a month later, we finally broke up while I was back abroad studying, after a fight where she threatened to break up with me and I got sick of her expressing this feeling of not giving a shit about me or us so I said something I shouldn't have and that was it. She called it.
This was all to build up the fact that now she is actively chasing guys 2-3 months later after I regrettably checked her socials (the ones I haven't been blocked on) one way or another I come across it (definitely because I go looking) - Making playlists for a guy subtitled with 'Don't know how else I can make it more obvious' after she blocked me on spotify and this one guy followed her on there. She later changed that playlist name to 'Maybe someday' and then made the playlist private or deleted it. Recently, she tweeted on her public rant page that no one followed other than me when I was with her, after she blocked me on there as well but I had notifs on so I guess it bugged and I could still see it. The tweet read 'I just...want to be appreciated. I JUST WANT TO BE APPRECIATED!!!! I'm so hilarious, why doesn't anyone wanna date me'. She has also never been single for more than 8 months or so since she started dating, has had two exes before me.
Bottomline is, if she came back I would NEVER get back with her. I feel disgusted that I dated a girl like her. I feel like I was lied to about who I was dating - a funny, loving, religious god-fearing woman who had her priorities straight. I feel very very confused that she's like this now and so soon. We did everything together even after our distance, she wouldn't even be able to go to sleep without me being there for her. And now, she pretends I never existed. I know it's normal for her to pretend that I don't exist now, but to pretend I NEVER existed and we never went through what we did? That blows my mind. I know I have to accept it. How do I deal with not having the self control to keep checking some of her socials and stuff or How do I build self control. Like just how do I go about this breakup because another massive detail is that I am studying abroad in a place where it is genuinely impossible to make good quality friends (Berlin, no hate just that the people here are not my type of people) so I am alone with my thoughts a lot. I am trying to get close to God but I keep thinking about all of the stuff that has happened. I don't have the friends back home that would help me just distract myself. And I don't think dating or talking to girls is the answer either? I have hobbies but that doesn't help much I guess. How do I stop thinking about her and deal with this?

So, this just came to me recently regarding the Salamangreat ED (plus main deck), and that's the fact that a large majority of them are mostly comprised of the Links, Miragestallio, along with some generic cards, like almost none of them are using Violet Chimera, Emerald Eagle, Burst Gryphon, or Blaze Dragon.
Now, I get it, of these four monsters, the latter three are a bit slow to get their effects to go off properly. However, I believe I may have come up with a card that can boost their usage, even if by just a little bit.
Now although I don't yet have a name for this card, what I do know is that it's either a Continuous Spell or Trap that says the following:
Once per Chain, you can target 1 "Salamangreat" monster you control: Immediately after this effect resolves, apply 1 of these effects based on the targeted monster's card type. * Ritual: Tribute the targeted monster, and if you do, special summon 1 "Salamangreat" Ritual Monster from your hand with the same name as the tributed monster (this is treated as a Ritual Summon). * Fusion: Fusion Summon 1 "Salamangreat" Fusion Monster with the same name as the targeted monster, using monsters from your hand and/or either field as material, including the targeted monster. * Synchro: Synchro Summon 1 "Salamangreat" Synchro Monster with the same name as the targeted monster. For this Synchro Summon, you can treat the targeted monster as a Tuner. * Xyz: Special summon 1 "Salamangreat" Xyz Monster with the same name as the targeted monster, using it as material. So, what do you guys think? I'll be honest here, I wasn't really sure if I should include an effect involving the Link monsters since Salamangreat already has quite a few effects that either support them or are related to them in some capacity. Also that last effect I put in because to my knowledge, there's no in-archetype means of getting their banished cards back.

Hey guys I know it’s day 1 but was curious if that’s happening to anyone else? Is there a fix or a feature I need to turn on?

I'm going to keep the context brief since my friend wants to keep quiet about it. I work at the same job as her, and for some time she has been hit on by a coworker who is YEARS older than her. She's like 16 while the coworker is definitly at least 40. I am the same age as her, however I am confident in my abilities to protect myself.
So here's my plan so far for when we work together: 1. Make sure she is never alone with said coworker 2. If she needs to communicate with him about something related to work I'll go instead (it's a resturaunt so there won't be much to say) 3. I already told her what to do if he doesn't back off (tell the manager immedietly and never be alone with him) 4. Teach her some martial arts?
I might also recruit some other coworkers to help protect her from this pervert, but I was wondering if you guys had any advice, as this is in the context of a professional environment. Anything would be appreciated.

Bear with me for a little while I lay it all out :)
Car: Ford Falcon XT Year: 2010 Engine: 6 Cylinder LPG Only Automatic Transmission
So we’ve been driving this car for over a year, an ex-taxi. Have maintained its service decently, KMs are around 250,000 which isn’t too crazy for a Ford. I’ll list various problems in chronological order of us spotting them to pain the picture as best as possible.
Issue 1: The whole time we’ve had it there’s been a notification on the dash when the keys are initially put in saying “Transmission Not In Park” despite it being in Park.
Issue 2: Occasionally over the past year the gear switches would be pretty rough at random times. For example, I’d be on the freeway and I’ll speed up a little (say to get from 80kmh to 100kmh) and I would feel underneath me a bump, like a tectonic shift.
Issue 3: Only the last two months, some mornings it takes a few failed attempts to even start the car. Basically the longer it stays cold the harder it is to start, even when fresh off a service.
Issue 4: Yesterday, the accelerator would randomly stop working at stop lights. If I was on a slight incline it felt slightly dangerous because I’d need to roll a little first while being very easy on the accelerator. Reason being, if I pushed it too hard it wouldn’t move gears at all. I’d see the RPM meter at 4000 with zero actual acceleration. You hear the motor and everything but it’s as if the gear wasn’t connecting. This phenomenon would only occur for 2-5 seconds but you’d still have to be careful in the aftermath because it was kind of a mission to slowly get it to 60kmh, while the rest of the traffic is driving smoothly. Good thing I was working overnight and the roads were empty on my travels.
Issue 5: this morning the car refuses to start. We arranged yesterday to take it to a mechanic but it means nothing if it won’t leave the driveway. I’ve tried starting in neutral and also keeping the brake pedal way down and neither has made it work.
Each issue compounded into the other and now they’re all simultaneously present. Does anyone have any information on what this all is. I have a feeling it’s all one connected issue. Last service was done a month or so ago, there have never been any warning lights and all meters (engine temp for example) have been checking out.

Hi guys, I'm considering doing Master of CS at USYD and there are still a few things holding me back so I thought I'd look for the public opinions out here, hoping to frame a better picture of what the learning environment is like. For starters, I have non-cognate backgrounds, this is my first formal attempt to learn C, R, SQL,... and the likes of networking, data structures, database management... I know some basic programming with Python and am refreshing my rusty math skills though. My intention is to specialize in data science (further going into ML/AI) but this is the only program I could enroll in with a BA degree. So here are my questions: 1. Looking through the program, I feel like it's pretty heavy on the networking & programming side, and the chances to escape into the world of ML/AI appear limited, even with the specialization counted in. For those who are pursuing the same path - do you think the networking and other foundational subjects worth your time? And how do you learn math and ML if not through the official curriculum? 2. The school doesn't offer an integrated internship subject like a few others, is it easy to get one during the 1st year summer? Any constraints for intl students you've seen? 3. Most of the courses have group work components, how's your peers' learning attitude? I'm hoping it's appropriate as this ain't no easy major to study 4. Any networking opportunities / job fairs for CS folks held on campus? 5. Are the professors good - as in do they seem passionate about their speciality, possess good pedagogical skills, and are open to inquiries after lectures? 6. For serious students out there, if you were to rate your efforts invested in the program overall, what would be the ratio of homework + textbook/slides studying + notes reviewing versus self research? So for those of you who don’t recall the episode. It was a two-parter in which the crew was in a hologram program with a Nazi German storyline. I won’t go into the entirety of the episode… The purpose of the post was that I was very surprised to hear one of the Nazi soldiers Exclaim that ‘the Jews need to be eliminated along with Christians’ (paraphrasing, but OnPoint) The Nazis soldier considered Jews, a “decadent form of life”. That needed to be hunted down and eliminated .

Although this is a very accurate Depiction of Nazis’ goal to exterminate of Jews. This is the first time I ever heard star trek mention this topic. I remember when I was watching ENT - there was an episode in which Captain Archer time traveled back to Nazi Germany era. However, it was the Americans versus the Nazis. No mention of religion.
I just find this very interesting that Star Trek writers would touch on this topic of elimination/extermination of Jews by the Nazis.
BTW, I am NOT Criticizing the mention of this topic, I was just more surprised. Actually, “The Killing Game (parts 1 & 2)” are excellent episodes. Worth the watch or rewatch.

Disillusioned with the current job market? I get it, I really do. As if sifting through thousands of opportunities, writing a cover letters, going through 3 rounds of interviews, and all of the “homework assignments” isn’t enough? But we CAN’T forget to add a deep dive search into your potential employer’s background to the list because the amount of pyramid scheme/predatory companies out there is only increasing and they’re getting more and more sophisticated.
I’m have one intention; to prevent others from falling prey to the same predatory and morally corrupt situation that I found myself in. Thank god (or whomevewhatever is pulling the strings out there) for good friends with a knack for uncovering company's secrets or I would be working for a MLM right now. The company is called Silver Lining Marketing Inc. and they’re office is located in Gretna, LA (but operates in the greater New Orleans Area). They have an actual office, with employees and everything. They even make their employees wear business professional clothing so as to appear more legitimate. They have a functioning website, which once I actually read everything on their website, I realized that they aren’t really marketing the non-profits they fundraise for, but rather they are marketing job opportunities and personal growth within their company.
I applied to a job listing on indeed for an executive management position with Silver Lining Marketing Inc. with $75-100K compensation, which sounds great, right? You go through 3 rounds of interviews which end with an in-person interview with one of the “Team Leaders” and then their CEO. Everyone is SO nice and they do a great job of making the office feel “fun and supportive”. They don’t give you the job on the spot but rather wait at least a day or two to contact you after your final interview, so it appears as though this is a competitive and desirable position. Once you’re hired the switch flips and you’re finally made aware that you will not reach the executive manager position for about a year and this is how they get you!
First you will start out in an entry level “training” position for about a month where the pay is a measly $12/hr, but you get 20% of one-time donations and 1X monthly donations…which I don’t know how anyone sees any of that “bonus” money because they are still training and not “out in the field”. It was at this point that I asked what “out in the field” meant. I wrongfully assumed that in this position I would be doing event planning for galas, dinners, and any other kind of fundraising event…but man was I wrong! “Out in the field” actually translated to going to Walmart, CVS, various grocery stores, ect for 8 hours with a clipboard and harassing strangers for donations to various non-profits. Thats how they make their “bonuses” and I HIGHLY DOUBT that the people they coerced into donating their hard-earned money would still want to donate if they knew that approximately 40% of that donation would be going in to the pocket of a for-profit marketing firm. They have you wear clothing with the non-profit’s logo on it so that people think you work for the non-profit and they also tell you to never tell the donors that you take a (hefty) percentage of the money that they think is being donated in its entirety to the non-profit.
After about a month you move up to a leadership role. The leadership level is split in to 3 tiers; Jr. leader, Core leader, and Sr. leader. You’re still making $12/hr by the way, BUT WAIT, now you’ll get 20% of any one-time donations you 1.5X any monthly donations you receive. When you move to the Core leadership level you get a “growth bonus” which I was told is $200, hooray?? Upon reaching the Sr. leadership role you’re still at $12/hr but now you get 20% of one-time donations and 2X monthly donations. According to the employee I spoke to, new employees typically spend around 16-20 weeks in this role. At this point you are responsible for set up and break down of “events” in “the field”, your team of $12/hr cronies, and the money collected at the “events”. To move to the next tier, which is assistant manager, one must first indoctrinate 4 other people and at least 1 of those 4 people has to make it to a Sr. leadership role. This means you have to get at least 4 more suckers to work for 12/hr before you can be promoted, is this starting to sound familiar? In addition to your recruitment goals, you must also get at least 10K in one-time donations and 1K in monthly donations for 2 weeks in a row.
When you get to the third level you become assistant manager and you are STILL MAKING $12/hr, but don’t get your panties in a bunch because WOAH now you’re make 20% on one-time donations and 3X monthly donations. The assistant manager role typically last about 8-12 weeks and it is in this role that you learn the scripts and necessary brain-washing tools to start your very own MLM! The fourth and final level is executive manager and in this role you’re supposed to be making 75k-100k and be in charge of your own entire office of brainwashed underpaid employees and you get to rinse and repeat with all of the new hires.
These companies brainwash people in numerous ways. Every morning there is a meeting for an hour and half in which you stand up, yell mantras, clap, and get hyped up for a long day of skimming donations from various non-profit charities. They make sure everyone looks professional and has a “good attitude” to prevent people from getting spooked or god forbid thinking for themselves long enough to realize that they’re part of a pyramid scheme. How is this legal, you say!? Well, unfortunately it is legal but it absolutely should not be. See this particular company isn’t making you buy a product and then sell said product to make money, no no no, instead this company hides behind the good names of the charities that it “represents” while skimming money off the top of each donation. The Charities are getting donations they otherwise wouldn’t have so they're not motivated to do the necessary research in to the practices of the company that is paying them. I would also like to note that I don’t think that all of the people that currently work for or have worked for Silver Lining Marketing Inc. are terrible, morally corrupt, individuals because they at their core victims of this heinous system that judicial system has allowed to persist. This company targets kind-hearted individuals that want to help charities, individuals who typically don’t take a job just for the money. This allows them to guilt you in to working for an unlivable wage because, hey, you're making a difference and if you just work hard enough for a while then you’ll make lots of money and get to start your very own business!
I watched a youtube video on pyramid/MLM schemes called “The Slave Circle (Direct Marketing Devil Corp. Documentary)” and this video gave me the confidence I needed to tell the company that I would not work for them and why. Lastly, I would like to say that if you or someone you know has been a victim of a fucked MLM like this, don’t turn to anger or vengeance. Don’t let this discourage you, these companies are so sophisticated and have scripted responses for every possible situation. They prey on good people and you are not a bad person if you fall for it, just don’t make that mistake again, learn from your errors, and PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE post about your experience on reddit, glassdoor, and anywhere else you feel comfortable so that you can prevent others from falling victim to the same situation!!

My first time oding was from taking 4 Mucinex, I said it was on accident because I “misheard” my mom and we were at the hospital where a nurse was asking me the question so I didn’t want to tell the truth wouldn’t even tell my mom(I was sick and had a lot of mucus) but I impulsively did research online to see how much pills would make me od and took that exact amount... It was probably a bad idea because I was at school and the ambulance came because I was stuck to the ground and couldn’t open my eyes.
After that experience I didn’t take it for like 2 weeks. But intrusive thoughts won and I started taking it every other day, increasing the dose because it got weaker the more I took it at the same amount.
Once I got to the point of taking 6 (i always did it before school and the oding would make me feel “lighter” in a sense and way more carefree) the 6 was probably the last time I took it in 2023, because I threw up horribly in the schools bathroom and felt horrible after. I didn’t want to go to the nurses even when my friends told me to because I was scared they’d find out what I did.
And I’m now I’m back, I don’t know why. I don’t necessarily want to die, like I don’t have a reason to. I just want to. I took it every Wednesday two weeks ago for three weeks. The last time I took it I couldn’t remember the amount I took, it was either between 7-9 bc my body rejected 1 or 2 before I could ingest it bc it would force me to like it out before I could swallow. I also puked that time but had enough consciences to go to the bathroom(I was at home). This last time was the most hardest time I had od and yet I still feel the need to do it, even more this time. I want to find a way to stop but oding seems like the only way I can escape my actual conscience and be comfortable around ppl.
I want to stop, I keep telling myself that. But in the back of my mind, there’s something telling me that’s not how I actually feel. I willingly oded and will willingly do it again, I just need something to escape, I really don’t know.

For anyone struggling to choose like I was, here's my experience using both of them:
I started out with TuneCore because most people said DK/TC were basically the same and TC is a little cheaper so why not go with that one. Everyone else seemed to fall into the equal-sized TUNECORE IS TERRIBLE or DISTROKID IS TERRIBLE camps. Well, I guess I've joined the former.
I submit my first single and after 2 days received the infamous "copyrights violation" email. This was annoying, but not super surprising. The track uses a Splice sample which a couple other songs from equally-nobody artists also use.
What immediately frustrated me though was that they gave absolutely no additional information as to what the violation actually was, so I just had to assume it was that sample. But what if it wasn't? More unnecessary, slow communication.
So I respond and get an automated message back saying they'll respond in 1-2 business days, which they do after 2 days, saying they're sending it to their internal team for review and will once again... respond in 1-2 business days. This was a Thursday, so great, I'm probably stuck until the next week.
Worse than that. The next Thursday, after a full week has passed, I send them another email asking for an update. They never responded. Still haven't. Never will I assume. Could I have raised hell and got their attention? Probably. But I no longer wanted to work with them. If I'm starting from scratch anyways, why bother with a company that can't even make a good first impression?
So after yet another week of no response (2 total) I bought a DistroKid subscription and was blown away by how much easier and more understandable the process was. The site is so much simpler, which is a benefit I wasn't even expecting. I could've signed up and submitted my first song in 10 minutes if I wasn't exploring and double-triple checking everything.
TuneCore in comparison is just confusing. Certain things are downright broken. It seems they'd rather just have you email support to do anything. What year is this? Maybe my messages are chilling with a Nigerian prince in their spam folder.
So I push submit on DistroKid and within an hour I get an email update saying my audio file has been processed and is good to go. Shortly after, another saying my artwork has been processed and is good to go. Then, a few hours later while I was asleep, an update saying my song has been sent off to stores. Amazing. I literally thought I was misreading it. So easy.
Another morning later and I'm live on Spotify. 36 hours from signing up to DK to being live on Spotify. Again, couldn't believe my eyes. The next day I'm live on Apple Music.
I then proceeded to spend more time trying to figure out how to cancel my TC subscription than I spent submitting to DK.
Now, surprisingly, I don't actually like shitting on companies and fanboying one over another but the difference between TC and DK was just so significant I couldn't keep quiet. I know many people have had good experiences with TuneCore and it works great for them, but, quite frankly, I can't imagine how.
I just hope my good experience with DistroKid continues. If not, you'll see my update comparing them to CD Baby or Anti-Joy or something.
And no, I'm not being paid by DistroKid in any way, but I'm definitely not above shilling for them for a check if they slide into my DMs. Shit, I'd do it for TuneCore too.

Just witnessed a level 1000 breaking down why a level 100's gear sucks. The level 1000 was sitting there talking about how great his gear is and he's been playing for 6 years and knows so much about pvp and nothing the 100 could do is gonna kill him and was basically passive aggressively taunting him. Pretty much felt like keep trying to kill me anyway and I'll sit here and make fun of your damage and make you feel like shit for having absolutely no upper hand in pvp. This wasnt even a friendly teaching lesson about how he could get into pvp if he wanted. It was purely one sided and I think the level 100 had it somewhere in his heart just maaaybe if he tried hard enough he could actually kill him. I could hear it in the poor guys voice. He kept on saying things like look man I know you're just gonna keep spamming serums and go invisible as soon as the fight starts. Or my geaweapons arent nearly as good as yours. I ended up messaging the level 100 and just told him how some of these serious pvp players like to sit there and flex off their build and the best way is to find lower levels who probably aren't stacking and spamming the same way they are. Thankfully he finally backed out of the fight...maybe after feeling a little defeated. This is why I don't do pvp. I've done it in the past. I've seen recent and old videos and all results show the same. Nobody can tell me pvp in fallout isn't mostly just about who has the bigger ego and better gear or more consumables. If you like pvp and are gonna do pvp that's one thing...but looking for people who are clearly at a disadvantage just to mess with them to fill your ego is another.

Felt an insane feeling of uneasiness, felt sick, headaches and due to it suppressing my hunger It worsened my condition. Funny enough tried to do it again but fully prepared by planing out my meal to see how it would effect me but the side effects persisted
   
4. Methylphenidate ( concerta) er 32- was weird. Felt like a zombie, got a small headache and could somewhat focus but I felt almost no boost in productivity.
   
5. Back to dex foculin 15 er - not that bad however still have a sense of unease if I don’t eat and drink enough water through out the day but the worse side effect is diarrhea
   

Honestly at this point I’m debating what’s the point of even getting meds if they just make me feel worse. Some advice or recommendations for other meds is very much needed

Just switched my lo to 2 naps today and I have some questions ..
Me extending his naps he had no problems with ! But I ran into a few hiccups
1)he’s still taking his 30 minute naps. 2)After the 2 naps still a lot of time till bedtime that’s past 4+ hrs . 3) when I try to move bedtime earlier because of it LO took it as a nap and woke up 30 minutes later. ( didn’t get settled in until his actual bedtime came and stayed sleep).
I need a schedule that I can follow based off this information and any tips.^
Wake up: 7:30-8:30am Bedtime :8:30pm

I'm a 18 F and I'm graduating High School. In my school students have admins based on the first letter of our last names. I and some other students have never liked my admin. Though out my junior and senior year I was apart of science Olympia and I love it. Science Olympia is where each school has a team and compete against different schools in different events. Like code busting, scrambler, bridge, tower and more. The teams with enough points/ 1, 2, and 3 places went to State. Last year we went to State and we were hoping to go to State this year. A week before we were going to regionals, I had a terrible flu and couldn't go to school for a week. And I had already gotten off the D and F list. (The D and F list is when you have a certain amount of D's and 2 F's and you can'tdo any school events until you grt your grades up.) Well I have gotten one of my F's up and was feeling a bit better on Friday and went to school excited to go to regions on Saturday. After school when I was home I had gotten a call from my science teacher who helps run science Olympia at my school, to tell me that I was on the D and F list again. Confused I looked at my grades online and I had gotten an F in this one class for mainly not being there. I couldn't help it since I was sick at home with the FLU! My science teacher told my admin about that but she didn’t allow me to go on Saturday because I'm on the list I can't go. Even though my teacher for the class I'm in is failing me and putting in zeros for the assignments that I had missed for being sick with the FLU. Well I couldn't go and my mom and I had talked with the principal and agreed that what my admin did wasn't right. Present time my admin is still the same as she was even though she allows people being bullied and being a bitch to me and other people. I'm thinking of not shaking her hand as I walk the stage during graduation. What would you guys think? Would I be the Asshole for doing that?

I'm currently on a weird job and have no idea what to charge. I was hired by a good studio to make alterations to a project for a big company (Vertical and Square resizing, and a 30s version) I told them about 3 or 4 days at my day rate. Simple.
But it's now almost 3 weeks later, and it's still not finished. Half of this is because the client keeps changing their mind- mainly reordering sections. But they're also slow to give feedback, so each time I've been waiting around 1/2 days doing absolutely nothing. And when I do get the feedback, it's generally only about 1 or 2 hours of work each day.
Initially, I said that because I'm waiting around for feedback on this job, I'm not taking on other projects, and they suggested paying me 75% of my day rate on the days I'm doing nothing. Great.
But now I've probably only done 4-5 actual days of work, and waiting around for 10+.
There's been no formal booking, it's just implied that I should be free to work on this when feedback comes in. The studio has no idea how long feedback will take. I've asked them if there's other things I can work on for them to keep busy, and they say it's ok to just wait.
Should I be charging to wait around? Does the studio charge the client for days like this? (I normally work direct to client, so I'm unsure about studios)
