My pc completely freezes sometimes.
2024.05.06 18:14 Utinnni My pc completely freezes sometimes.
PCPartPicker Part List This already happened 2 times, I'd leave my pc running at idle for a few hours and when I come back it would be frozen.
The first time that it happened was like 2 months ago when I came back and tried to open chrome and it was taking a bit longer to open so I tried to click on it a few more times because I set up to turn off the monitor after 3 minutes of idle, and if I don't use my pc for a few hours the system for whatever reason "turns off" or hibernates the HDD and if I use something from the HDD it would take a bit to wake up, it also happens with the SSD but the "wake process" is usually faster. So I thought that the SSD was hibernating or something so I clicked on the chrome icon a few more times and then I noticed that the whole system was frozen, I could move my mouse but only the loading symbol would show and my keyboard wasn't recognizing any input, so I turned the pc off by holding the power button and when it restarted it was completely normal. My SSD is a bit old but
CrystalDiskInfo says it's at 70%.
And the next one just happened like an hour ago, the whole day I was using my pc completely normal and 3 hours ago I went to eat, I wanted to watch a movie from my plex server which I have set up in my pc, I normally cast it to my tv, so when I did that it wouldn't load the movie, I thought it was that was bugging out so I closed everything on my phone and tried again and the same thing would happen, so I went to check my pc and noticed that there was a hint of heated plastic or electronics, I wake up the monitor and noticed again that the system was frozen so I quickly hold down the power button and turned it back on after a few seconds and it wouldn't even show up the motherboard logo that shows up before it boots up Windows, so I turned it off again and opened my pc to check if there was a stronger smell of the heated stuff, I didn't notice any strong smell and I didn't feel any hot spots on the motherboard, SSD, RAM or on the GPU so I tried again and it booted up normally.
I'm still using the BIOS version 2803 which I only updated because it had the fix for the AMD fTPM issue that caused random stuttering. And that was from April 2022. I've read that if you can't find any problems in the system it's best to not update the BIOS, I don't know if my problem justifies updating the BIOS or not.

2024.04.28 21:37 WarriorBearBird Diagnosis After Sudden Shutdown and Smoke but PSU Confirmed Working
Edit for Posterity: I took the PC into a computer repair shop to get the components tested individually, and it turns out the replacement PSU I was sent was not working. The system was tested with another PSU and worked fine. Just a case of bad luck, I guess. Now I get to deal with Corsair and get the replacement replaced...
I posted earlier in the week after my PC shutdown suddenly while playing Cyberpunk and I turned to see wisps of smoke coming from the case above the PSU. The PSU passed the
jumper test, but still seemed like the most likely issue, so I RMAd it through Corsair.
Unfortunately, I installed the replacement PSU today and the system won't turn on at all (zero sound or reaction in any way). The PSU is getting power (again checked with the jumper test) but the power button isn't turning on the actual PC. I tried reseating the RAM, swapping ram slots, and testing with a single ram stick, but that didn't change anything either. Also reseated all power cables (CPU and 24 pin) to no avail.
My best guess is that I blew a VRM as this motherboard does not have heat-sinks on them, but I don't know much about them and can't see any damage to the naked eye
(though there are some covered by the CPU cooler that I have not removed since I don't have any thermal paste to replace it at this time) even after taking things apart completely.
Is that the most likely culprit, or is there something I'm overlooking? If it was the VRM/MoBo, is it likely to have fried any other components (CPU, RAM, etc)? Any tests I should do or general advice? What are the best next steps (MoBo replacement?)?
Parts list (GPU purchased end of 2022, everything else in Q1 2022):
- ASRock Z790M-ITX/ax MoBo
- Intel i5-12600K (I have NOT OCd) CPU
- Scythe Fuma 2 CPU Cooler
- Patriot Steel DDR4 2x16GB 3600MHz RAM
- Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Vision OC 8GB GPU
- Corsair SF750 PSU
- Cooler Master NR200P Case
TL;DR: PC shut off and smoked. Still does not turn on with replacement PSU. What should my next steps be?

2024.04.25 20:35 WarriorBearBird Sudden Shutdown and Smoke Help
I was playing Cyberpunk 2077 today when my PC suddenly shut down without warning or prior hiccups. The PC has had no issues previously and benchmarks after I built it near the end of 2022 showed good temps on CPU and GPU even, never going above the low 80s and mostly hovering under the mid to high 70s under load.
I glanced over at the PC on my desk and am pretty sure I saw wisps of smoke that I'd estimate were near the PSU. There is a slight odor in that area as well, but nothing strong like I'd normally associate with burnt out electronics.
I unplugged the PC and have removed the GPU, which does not have any odor and looks fine to the naked eye. There are no obvious burns to the MoBo, but most of it is covered up by my cooler (including the VRMs which do not have heat sinks on this MoBo), which I did not remove because I do not have any thermal paste to re-install it at this time.
I'm assuming this is a PSU failure and I should reach out to Corsair for replacement rather than trying to boot the PC again. Is that correct? Is there any other way to diagnose the issue without putting other parts at risk (I do not have access to another PSU to try)? Any advice or anything I'm overlooking?

- Patriot Steel DDR4 2x16GB 3600MHz RAM
- Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Vision OC 8GB GPU
- Corsair SF750 PSU
- Cooler Master NR200P Case
EDIT FOR POSTERITY: I did the
jumper test on the PSU and the fan spun up, but from what I can tell that doesn't mean it for sure won't have issues under load. Corsair has already agreed to an RMA, so I'll probably do that as the first course of action, but it's possible it's another component. Once I get the replacement PSU I'll try booting with minimal components plugged (probably just the MoBo, CPU, Cooler, and RAM) and then add the case fans, then USB headers, then GPU to test things one at a time and minimize any chance of a problematic part damaging anything else.

2024.04.23 16:58 HoopLoop2 Great value electric utilities company
Companhia Energética de Minas Gerais (CIG) which is the largest Brazilian electric utilities company, has some of the best numbers I've seen in terms of price, health, and dividend. It has a 10.9% dividend with a 54% payout ratio. 5.0 P/E ratio 40% debt equity ratio, good cash flow, equity going up over time consistently while debt is going down. the company has been around since 1952 with a good track record as well. The only notable concern for me is the inconsistent dividend history but the share price is so low right now that a lot of the past payments although inconsistent were so much higher than they are currently paying per share, combine that with the payout ratio of 54% and I'm not that concerned that the dividend will remain very high if purchased at this price. Not sure if I'm missing anything but if someone has a valid reason to avoid this that isn't "it has a high yield" I'd love to hear it.
EDIT: CIG appears to have a potential concern of federalization and that might be part of the reason it is so undervalued, still doesn't seem like a reason for me to avoid the company however.

2024.04.19 12:46 Daelnoron New to PC-building, does this make sense (~€1650 excluding monitor)?
I'm reasonably certain about the performance, do want to try Ray tracing for the first time (and playing at higher than 1080p/60 for once) while maintaining power efficiency (power is costly here) and low noise.
I do a lot of stuff besides heavy duty gaming on the pc, but none of it is demanding.
I am able to keep using the 750W psu from my previous PC, that should work nicely with PCPPs 541 expected Wattage. Mouse and Sata SSD are similarly holdovers.
2 direct questions: the M.2 Antenna uses an expansion slot in the back. Is it reasonable to try and use one of the GPU covered ones?
Fans are 3 intakes (through a dust filter) and 2 exhausts (one dust-filtered at the top and one unobstructed in the back). Is it reasonable to assume a neutral or slightly positive pressure?
Besides that, I'm happy for any advice.

2024.04.13 06:36 Top_Ordinary849 Trip Report WITH PHOTOS 19 Days March/April 2024 Cherry Blossoms Tokyo, Lake Kawaguchiko (Mt Fuji), Osaka, Kyoto
My husband & I recently returned from our first trip to Japan from 21 March to 8 April. We mostly stuck to the golden route & wanted to see the cherry blossoms. We did most of the planning with help from this subreddit & watching YouTube videos (really enjoyed
u/CurrentlyHannah &
u/RionIshida). I enjoy reading everyone’s trip reports so here’s ours.
Overview 2 x nights Tokyo, Hotel:
Hotel Century Southern Tower 2 x nights Lake Kawaguchiko (Mt Fuji), Hotel:
Mizno Hotel 4 x nights Osaka, Hotel:
JOYTEL HOTEL Namba-Dotonbori 4 x nights Kyoto, Hotel:
Laon Inn Gion Nawate 6 x nights Tokyo, Hotel:
JR-EAST Hotel METS Gotanda Prep/Planning/Pre-booking - We booked our flights with Qantas about 6 months prior & started a Google Map & pinned places & restaurants of interest, colour coded them by area & grouped things together when we planned our daily itinerary.
- Once we had our itinerary sorted, we booked hotels on Agoda, Booking.com & where we could book directly with hotels we did. We kept tweaking our itinerary until the last minute.
- We read some Japanese websites like USJ and SmartEx don’t accept Visa or certain other credit cards, we used a MasterCard Credit Card & it worked everywhere, no issues.
- We booked the below in advance as soon as we could, this is not required, this is just what we did. With it being peak season, we wanted to avoid any disappointment of things likely being sold out or wasting time researching and booking things while we are there.
- Two months in advance we:
- purchased Tokyo Disney Resort tickets
- purchased Universal Studios & Express Passes
- One month in advance we:
- booked the Limited Express Fuji Excursion Train on www.eki-net.com to get from Shinjuku to Lake Kawaguchiko.
- booked the Fujikyuko Express Bus on sekitori.jp to get from Lake Kawaguchiko to Mishima Sta.
- booked our Shinkansen trips on SmartEX smart-ex.jp. Tips: This gets mentioned a lot but book seat D & E for standard car or C & D for Green Car going either way from Tokyo to Osaka/Kyoto to view Mt Fuji & link your IC card to your bookings so you don’t need to print tickets, just tag on with your IC card & save a couple of minutes.
- booked the Kintetsu Sightseeing Limited Express AONIYOSH Train on www.kintetsu.co.jp.
- purchased Shibuya Sky tickets (we wanted sunset slots for 17:00, they sold out within minutes, so got tickets for the 16:00 slot)
- purchased tickets to the NAKED Flowers Sakura Nijo Castle Kyoto event on Klook.
- reserved restaurants, we didn’t want to reserve any restaurants as we wanted to be flexible when it comes to this, however after research & being especially concerned about Kyoto , we reserved these four restaurants, we were still able to be flexible otherwise & stumbled upon a lot of great restaurants, but nonetheless three of these four were some of the best meals we had the whole trip:
- Matsuzaka Gyu Yakiniku M Hozenji-Yokoch Osaka (www.tablecheck.com)
- Kobe Beef Steak Mouriya Gion Kyoto (www.tablecheck.com)
- Itoh Dining Kyoto (www.tablecheck.com)
- Hokkaido Menkoi Nabe Kumachan Onsen Shibuya Miyamasuzaka (www.kumachan-onsen.jp)
- purchased Skytree tickets on Klook
- Learned some Japanese using Duolingo & watching YouTube. These are the phrases we used the most:
- “Arigatou Gozaimasu” – Thank you
- “Sumimasen” – Excuse me
- “Daijoubu Desu” - It’s Ok, I’m Fine, No thanks
- “Onegaishimas” - Please (when asking for something)
- “__ o Kudasai” – I would like __, please
- “__ wa Doko Desu ka?” – Where is __?
- When we tried to use any more than this people would try to have fluent conversations with us, so we just kept to basics. We also learned a bit of Hiragana was somewhat useful reading signs, but we mostly used Google Translate.
- Completed the Visit Japan Web site a few days before our trip.
Luggage & Packing - We took 1 x large suitcase (160cm) & 2 x carry-on sized bags (Kathmandu Hybrid Trolley v3 32L). Our one large suitcase was empty & we planned to fill it up with shopping & souvenirs as we go and forward it using Yamato Transport TA-Q-BIN (black cat) when we move hotels. By the time we got back to Tokyo the one large suitcase was full so we bought another one as my husband needed one anyways. Both large suitcases were full at the end of the trip.
- Luggage forwarding gets mentioned a lot, but I mention it again as I see people keep asking about it & it is convenient. We forwarded our luggage twice, it is recommended to do it the morning before 11:00am & usually it will arrive the next day but could take longer. We took our luggage to our hotel reception or 7/11. They phoned our next hotel to check that they were happy to receive the luggage. As far as I know, this service is available all over Japan, we only shipped from Tokyo > Osaka & Kyoto > Tokyo.
- We had a small backpack for our daily shopping, & found coin pouches useful.
FYI for those taking their
luggage with them on the
Shinkansen:
- 160cm & below = No reservation required
- 161–250cm = Reservation required
- 250cm & above = Not allowed on train
Weather & Clothes - Temperatures ranged from 0°C to 20°C. There was an unexpected cold front when we arrived in Tokyo & was colder than we expected so we purchased some gloves & beanies to keep warm. It rained about 6 out of the 19 days, most days were a little cloudy with no rain, we had some sunny days where it was warm & it helped that we could take off layers.
- We planned to use the laundry services & at our hotels so we each only took 2 x pairs of outfits & a lightweight windproof rain jacket. We also planned to buy some clothes during our trip.
- We each took only one pair of comfortable walking shoes & several pairs of thick comfortable socks. We averaged 20K steps a day.
- We each took a set of sleepwear but 4 out of 5 of our hotels provided sleepwear.
Thursday 21 March 2024 Tokyo Shinjuku - Arrived at Narita Airport at 17:30 from New Zealand on Qantas Airlines.
- We activated our E-Sims (I used Ubigi 10G 30Days & my husband used Airolo) as soon as we landed. 10G data each lasted us the whole trip (had 60MB left at the end) & we had good signal everywhere we went. We always connected to WiFi at our hotels.
- We scanned our QR Codes from the Visit Japan Web through customs & had our luggage by 18:30.
- We each drew ¥50,000 cash at the airport & used ¥20,000 of this to top-up our Suica IC Cards. We topped up our Suica IC Cards a few more times throughout our trip as in addition to using it for trains, we also used it at the konbini & vending machines. IC cards can only be topped up with cash. We drew cash a few more times from ATMS at kobini's.
- We borrowed Suica IC cards from friends so we already had these & just topped it up when we arrived at the airport. We both have Samsung phones so couldn’t use the digital Suica cards on the iPhone wallets, else this would’ve been convenient.
- Took the Narita Express (N'EX) Train to our hotel in Shinjuku (can pre book but don’t need to, I didn’t prebook in case our flight got delayed or customs took long, very easy to locate & purchase tickets after arrival). Train took about 1-hour 30 mins from Narita to Shinjuku.
- Checked into Hotel Century Southern Tower which is conveniently located 5min walk from Shinjuku Station & has great views of the city from our room. Room was spacious. We specifically booked this hotel as it was close to Shinjuku Station where we needed to take a train to Mt Fuji in two days’ time. We will return to Tokyo again later.
- We were hungry so we walked to the nearest Ichiran Ramen & waited in line for 40 min before being seated, it was delicious.
- Got a few things from 7/11 before heading back to the hotel.
Friday 22 March 2024 Tokyo Shinjuku - Kept this day free in case of any delays, but also for viewing cherry blossoms in case they bloom early (they ended up blooming late due to the unexpected cold front).
- We felt a bit anxious about the public transport (especially Shinjuku Sta.), we went to the station to print our train tickets that we pre-booked & wanted to make sure where we need to catch our train to Mt Fuji the next day. It was very easy & straightforward, & all our anxiety melted away.
- Visited the 3D Cat Billboard & Godzilla before grabbing lunch at CoCo Ichibanya which was really tasty and went down well with the cold weather & then dessert at this 2D Café.
- Decided to head the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building early for sunset which was just as well as there was about an hour wait to get up with the elevator. It’s a free observation deck with great views of the city & Mt Fuji on a clear day followed by watching the projections after.
- Visited Golden Gai & Omoide Yokocho for a few drinks where we chatted with a few locals & tourists before heading back to the hotel.
Saturday 23 March 2024 Tokyo Shinjuku to Lake Kawaguchiko - Before checking out of our hotel in Tokyo we had them forward our large luggage to our hotel in Osaka to arrive in 3 days’ time (25 March), we are going to Lake Kawaguchiko for the following two days & didn’t need our large luggage for this leg of the trip, we just took our carry-on luggage with us. We put a Samsung Smart Tag in our luggage to keep track of it.
- Had some coffee near Shinjuku Sta. & grabbed some snacks from the konbini for our train ride.
- Took the 10:30 Limited Express Fuji Excursion Train from Shinjuku Station to Lake Kawaguchiko. Trip takes 2 hours. The train was full.
- Walked 30 min to our hotel Mizno Hotel. The hotel has free shuttle service for guests from Kawaguchiko Sta., but we opted to walk there instead as we didn’t have much luggage & the walk there was beautiful along the lake even though it was cloudy & we couldn’t see Mt Fuji yet.
- Mizno Hotel ticked all our boxes when we were looking for a hotel in this area:
- We had Beef Shabu Shabu for dinner at our hotel followed by drinks at the open-air bar & private bath on the rooftop. Mt Fuji fully revealed itself at sunset, it was perfect.
Sunday 24 March 2024 Lake Kawaguchiko/Mt Fuji Area - Today was all about Mt Fuji so this part highly relied on good weather as all the sites & activities are outdoors and centred around views of Mt Fuji. The forecast showed it was going to be cloudy & start raining from midday, so we decided to get an early start. We were lucky to have good weather for the morning, otherwise we probably would’ve spent most of the day at our hotel. We considered renting a car for this day, but since they had such nice cycling paths next to the lake we opted to explore by e-bikes. We used this website to see the Mt Fuji Visibility Forecast.
- Cycled to Chureito Pagoda Arakurayama Sengen Park for sunrise at around 05:00 to see this iconic scene with Mt Fuji + Pagoda.
- Shimoyoshida Honcho Street for Fuji Scenic view.
- Stopped by Family Mart for breakfast, egg sandwich with Fami Chiki, so good!
- Next, we wanted to go up to Mt. Fuji Panoramic Ropeway (opens 09:00) for more Fuji Scenic views, but it was only 07:30 still too early so we cycled to Oishi Park where we had delicious Cremia ice cream & cycled back to Mt. Fuji Panoramic Ropeway, but by the time we got back there the line was very long & going down the street & we could start seeing the clouds rolling in so it wouldn’t be long until Mt Fuji would no longer be visible, so we instead did some souvenir shopping before heading back to our hotel. Most of the shops in this area preferred cash only. We thought Oishi Park gave the best views out of all the viewpoints.
- Stopped by a food truck selling delicious Wagyu Burgers for lunch on the way back to our hotel.
- Cycling next to the lake with views of Mt Fuji was a highlight.
- For dinner our hotel helped us order some takeaway to have in our room & while we waited for our food to arrive we enjoyed some drinks in the open-air private bath on the rooftop & some more cocktails in the bar.
Monday 25 March 2024 Lake Kawaguchiko to Osaka This route gets asked about often, travelling from Lake Kawaguchiko to Osaka/Kyoto (West) is not as straightforward as it is from Tokyo (East) & requires a bit more travel time & planning. We were torn between just doing a day trip from Tokyo, but we understood that Mt Fuji can be shy so we wanted to increase our chances of seeing it by staying at least two nights. We also considered Hakone as it has better access, but we wanted to see Mt Fuji up close. We saw a lot of mixed reviews with some people saying there is not much to do in Kawaguchiko, which is true if the weather is poor, but with favourable weather we could’ve spent at least another day here.
- Had breakfast at the hotel & took our hotel shuttle to Kawaguchiko Sta. where we took the Fujikyuko Express Bus to Mishima Station. Trip took 1h 30min. We booked this bus one month in advance, so we had reserved seats & we just needed to display our booking QR code on our phone when we boarded the bus. Tip: When booking this bus, you need to get the Shinkansen at Mishima Sta. going west, ensure your arrival is to Mishima Sta. North Exit. You can select your arrival (North or South Exit) when you book. The bus was full.
- We pre booked our Shinkansen from Mishima Sta. to Shin-Osaka Sta. & ensured we gave ourselves at least one hour to get from our bus to our Shinkansen with extra time to get an ekiben to eat on the train, however unless you go at a busy time you can probably just book the Shinkansen when you get there. One hour was more than enough time. Shinkansen from Mishima Sta. to Shin-Osaka Sta. took 2h40min. The Shinkansen was full. We got these snacks for our train ride.
- Checked into our Osaka Hotel JOYTEL HOTEL Namba-Dotonbori which was conveniently located only a 5min walk from Osaka-Namba Station overlooking Dotonbori River. Hotel was affordable, room was clean but small. They had coin laundry facilities. Our luggage that we forwarded was there on arrival.
- Did laundry at the hotel before going to dinner at Matsuzaka Gyu Yakiniku M Hozenji-Yokocho & exploring Dotonbori & the Glico Man after.
- Dotonbori was vibrant with tourists & locals. We tried the ¥10 Coin, Takoyaki & Melon Pan with ice cream before heading back to our hotel.
Tuesday 26 March 2024 Osaka - We planned to visit Osaka Castle in the morning, but it was pouring rain & the forecast showed it would clear up around midday so we decided to visit Kuromon Ichiba Market first where we tried a whole lot of different foods including this strawberry mochi, prawn tempura & these strawberries & visited the Ghibli & Capcom stores before heading to Osaka Castle where we visited the grounds but did not go inside. We thought the grounds & the castle were beautiful even though there weren’t many cherry blossoms yet.
- We planned to visit Harukas 300 at sunset, but it was cloudy & we were tired so headed back to our hotel to rest before visiting Dotonbori in the evening where we tried some more Takoyaki , Okonomiyaki & Melon Pan.
Wednesday 27 March 2024 Osaka - Took the train to Universal Studios around 09:00.
- We got the Express Pass 7 which included timed entry for Nintendo World & express pass for 7 rides & it was well worth it as we didn't wait in any lines. My husband loved the Waterworld show, it was very impressive, I enjoyed how they got the crowd going even though I didn't understand a word.
- We had some excellent weather this day & it goes without saying it was overcrowded, we just ate some pizza as it had the shortest line & had lots of butterbeer.
- On the way back to our hotel we stopped by a konbini for some drinks & snacks to enjoy at our room.
Thursday 28 March 2024 Nara Day Trip - Took the 09:10 Kintetsu Sightseeing Limited Express AONIYOSH train from Osaka-Namba to Nara. We reserved seats facing the window. The trip took 35 mins. We had some nice coffee & dessert from the train kiosk on the train.
- Fed the deer treats you can buy at Nara Deer Park before visiting Todaiji Temple. We enjoyed the deer & even though the area was busy with tourists there was a relaxing atmosphere.
- Took a train to Shinsekai & tried some more Takoyaki & Okonomiyaki then dropped by Namba Yasaka Jinja Shrine before heading back to the hotel & grabbing some tempura at a restaurant at Namba Station.
- After giving Takoyaki & Okonomiyaki a good few tries we thought it was just ok, the texture was too “mushy” but in saying that we just tried any place we stumbled upon & didn’t try to find the ‘best’ spots or places that had long lines, hence trying a few different spots.
Friday 29 March 2024 Osaka > Kyoto Saturday 30 March Kyoto We considered renting e-bikes for some days in Kyoto, but considering we would visit the most touristy places we concluded e-bikes might be a hassle in overcrowded areas, so we just opted to walk/bus/train.
Sunday 31 March Kyoto Monday 1 April Kyoto - Visited Arashiyama Bamboo Grove at sunrise followed by a walk along the Katsura River which was very calm & beautiful early in the morning before visiting the Kimono Forest close to the train station.
- Took a bus to the nearest McDonalds for breakfast as nothing else was open yet.
- Visited the beautiful Tenryu-ji Temple where we saw a few more cherry blossoms before visiting Arashiyama Monkey Park, you get great view of Kyoto from the top. The monkeys were very cute & entertaining as they were playing with each other.
- Visited Ryoan-ji Temple & Kinkaku-ji Temple before heading back to the hotel for a break.
- Got some drinks from the konbini and enjoyed it next to the Kamo River while we watched the sunset before going to Tokyo Station for dinner but the station was chaotic & every restaurant had at least a one hour wait so instead we headed back to our hotel & grabbed some pizza and cocktails from the bar across our hotel. Tokyo Station architecture is impressive.
Tuesday 2 April Kyoto > Tokyo We stayed in Tokyo for the next 7 days with two full days at Disney. We felt we could’ve used at least another 2-3 days in Tokyo, there is just so much to do.
- Got our hotel to forward our luggage to our hotel in Tokyo. Before heading to Kyoto Sta. where we got food & these buddha desserts caught our Shinkansen to Shinagawa Station (Tokyo). We booked Seats C & D on the Green Car Nozomi N700S & had another great view of Mt Fuji. Trip took 2 hours. We transferred trains at Shinagawa Sta. to go to Gotanda Sta. to our hotel.
- Checked into JR-East Hotel Mets Gotanda. This hotel was great, it took only one minute to walk from our room to the station gates. We were connected to the Yamanote , Tōkyū Ikegami and Asakusa Lines. We booked a twin room, which was clean and spacious. They had coin laundry. There is also a Uniqlo in the same building (floor 2 on the same elevator to get to your room), many konbini’s and lots of eateries nearby.
- After dropping our luggage, we headed to Shibuya & visited the Hachiko Statue on our way to Shibuya Sky for our booked slot at 16:00, ideally, we wanted a 17:00 slot but this was sold out a month before. So, we spent 2 hours here for sunset, which was ok as there is a bar inside with a great view, so we enjoyed a few drinks here watching the city light up.
- Visited Shibuya Scramble Crossing before our dinner reservation at Kumachan Onsen Japanese Hot Pot Restaurant Shibuya, the food wasn't bad but it’s more known for the cute bears than how good the food is.
- Did laundry back at our hotel before calling it a night.
Wednesday 3 April Tokyo Visited
DisneyLand today. With it being peak tourist season & spring break for some Japanese students we expected the worst in terms of crowds, we tried to avoid going on a weekend, but not sure going on a Wednesday & Thursday helped. Despite the crowds we enjoyed it. We researched both DisneySea and DisneyLand rides and attractions, watched YT videos, familiarized ourselves with the app beforehand and went into each day with a rough plan & must-do rides/attractions. We took advantage of the Premier Access & 40th Anniversary Priority Pass.
- Took the train to DisneyLand & arrived at 07:00.
- As soon as we entered the park, we purchased Premier Access for Beauty & The Beast (this was the only ride I really cared about and so worth it) & got a 40th Anniversary Priority Pass for Pooh’s Honey Hunt and after we got another Priority Pass for Haunted Mansion.
- It started raining at about 10:00 & drizzled for most of the day.
- We had some food & browsed the park & shops in between waiting for our time slots for our rides.
- There were a few rides we skipped as we have previously done these at DisneyWorld & we were satisfied with the rides we managed to do & did not wait in line for anything else.
- We were starting to get tired & decided not to stay for the fireworks, we arrived back at our hotel at around 18:00. We ordered room services at our hotel for dinner before calling it a night.
Thursday 4 April Tokyo - Took the train to DisneySea & arrived at 09:30.
- As soon as we entered the park, we purchased Premier Access for Journey to the Centre of the Earth & got a 40th Anniversary Priority Pass for Soaring: Fantastic Flight.
- We loved DisneySea, it is unique to any other theme park we have been to.
- We were tired of theme parks by this point & decided to visit Shinjuku Gyoen Japanese Gardens to view the cherry blossoms in the afternoon since they were now in full bloom & it was peak viewing time.
Friday 5 April Tokyo - Visited Senso-ji Temple Asakusa early in the morning 06:30 to avoid crowds, it was nice & quiet, we got our fortunes.
- My husband and I are dog lovers & almost always when we see a cute dog we ask if we can pet their dog. There were a lot of cute Shiba Inu’s in Japan & whenever we asked someone if it’s ok to pet their dog they were exceptionally friendly and always thanked us abundantly.
- Visited Ueno Park to view some cherry blossoms before heading back to Nakamise-dori Street as most vendors only open 10am. Had a nice Macha Latte at Starbucks.
- Visited Kappabashi Str. where my husband bought himself a knife before having some good souffle pancakes at Belle & Emma.
- Headed back to the hotel for a break before making our way to Skytree for sunset & visited the Donguri Republic Ghibli Store.
- We couldn’t decide whether to get the Skytree Galleria (450m) tickets in addition to the Tembo Deck (350m) but ended up getting both, we don’t think it’s worth getting the Galleria (450m) tickets, we would’ve been satisfied with only visiting the Tembo Deck (350m). It seemed like a lot of people got both tickets & you had to wait ages for the lift to get to the Galleria anyway. We enjoyed some drinks at the Skytree Café watching the city light up.
- Visited Akihabara before heading back to our hotel.
Saturday 6 April Tokyo - We considered visiting Tsukiji Fish Market this morning, but since we’ve already been to Kuromon & Nishiki markets we figured we can give Tsukiji a miss & get some extra sleep.
- We visited Meiji Jingu Shrine at Yoyogi Park at around 09:00 before heading to Harajuku & Takeshita Street, where we tried some different foods & browsed some shops.
- Headed to a store called Mamegyorai Koenji as my husband was after some specific Dark Souls & Bloodborne merch.
- Headed back to Shibuya for dinner (Ichiran again) & drinks before heading back to our hotel. Took some photos at Sakura Street on the way to the station.
Sunday 7 April Tokyo Monday 8 April Tokyo - Checked out of our hotel at 11:00 & left our luggage to be collected later again when we head to the airport later. Our flight was only at 22:00 from Haneda Airport.
- We planned to head to Tokyo Station/Ginza area for more shopping, but we already bought everything we wanted & instead headed to Sumida Park for nice views of the Tokyo Skytree as we missed this before when we were in the Asakusa area. Had one more egg salad sandwich with Fami Chiki.
- We also left some free time today to revisit anything we really liked or missed before but decided to just go to the airport early & relax.
- Headed back to our hotel at around 16:00 & took a taxi to Haneda Airport to catch our flight back to New Zealand at 22:00. We originally planned to take the train, but the taxi from Gotanda Sta. to Haneda Airport was only about ¥5,000 which wasn’t that expensive considering it would’ve cost us about ¥4,000 to forward all our luggage to the airport if we didn’t want to take them with us on the train.
Highlights - Cycling around Lake Kawaguchiko with My Fuji in view
- Seeing Cherry blossoms in full bloom
- Riding the Shinkansen/Bullet Train
- Riding the Kintetsu Sightseeing Limited Express AONIYOSH Train to Nara
- If I could choose only one thing to see in Kyoto it would be Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine at sunrise
- Shibuya Sky at sunset was our preferred observation deck. Tokyo Metro Building & Azabudai Hills are free but felt more overcrowded & once the sun starts to set there is too much reflection on the windows to get good photos unless you have all the right camera gear to deal with this and SkyTree is nice but the height & angle of the city from this viewpoint was not as good as Shibuya Sky for us. Shibuya Sky also has the nicest area to have drinks and enjoy the view.
- Favourite meal Itoh Dining Kyoto A5 Kobe Wagyu Beef
- Favourite budget meal Ichiran Ramen
- Favourite dessert Cremia Ice Cream & Melon Pan+ Ice Cream
- Favourite konbini item Egg Salad Sandwich+FamiChiki & Mini Pancakes with butter & syrup
- Favourite vending machine drinks Pocari Sweat & Salty Litchi. I also appreciated being able to get a warm tea or coffee from the vending machines on cold early mornings when everything else was still closed.
Budget - Budget is highly subjective as Japan can be very cheap or very expensive, but this is what we spent (approximately) for 2 adults. Amounts are in ¥ based on the conversion rate at the time.
- Flights = ¥341,030
- Accommodation = ¥470,262 (avg. ¥26,125 per night)
- Transport (All trains/busses/taxis) = ¥122,968
- Food & Drinks = ¥226,950 (avg. ¥5,900 per person per day)
- Travel Insurance = ¥22,191
- eSims = ¥3,086
- Pre Booked activities (Disney, USJ, Shibuya Sky, Naked Flowers, Tokyo Skytree, Go Karts) = ¥174,974
- Other Spending/Shopping/Shipping Luggage/Other (entrance fees to temples etc.) = ¥163,404
- Total budget for 2 adults = ¥1,524,865
This post has gotten long so I didn’t elaborate on everything, especially all of the food, but I hope someone finds something helpful. AMA. We will be reflecting on our amazing trip for a long time.

2024.04.07 20:04 Torvaldson Need AMD CPU Upgrade Advice
I am planning on upgrading my AMD CPU in the next 30 days, along with getting a larger SSD, but need some advice on choosing which CPU to upgrade to.
My current build has an ASUS ROG STRIX X570-E AM4 Motherboard, with an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 CPU, a Scythe FUMA 2 CPU Cooler, 32 GB of RAM (2x16GB DDR4-3600), a Radeon RX 580 Videocard with 8GB of GDDR5 VRAM, and a Seasonic 850 watt Power Supply.
My existing 65 watt CPU, Ryzen 5 3600, has 6 cores+12 threads, with a base speed of 3.6 GHz and a top boost speed of 4.2 GHz. I was originally thinking of choosing just a minor CPU upgrade to a Ryzen 5 5600G to get about a 10% speed increase at the same 65 watt power usage, but am now considering going for a bigger CPU upgrade instead.
My X570-E motherboard will apparently support also upgrading to a Ryzen 7 5700G, Ryzen 7 5700x3D, Ryzen 7 5800, and Ryzen 7 5800x3D. The x3D CPUs seem slower than their non-3D versions, but have been talked up online as being better for gaming, so I am confused. Also, the 5800 and 5800x3D CPUs use 105 watts of power, which is higher than my current 65 watt CPU. I think my power supply should be able to handle this, but will the CPU cooler still be good enough, plus will this cause my PC tower to blast out much more hot air into my room?
- Please let me know which CPU upgrade you recommend that I go for, and the reasons why.
P.S. I will be using my PC to play games, plus general home business use. As far as gaming, I mostly play turn based strategy games, such as Civilization VI, on high video settings, using a 2560 x 1440 display.
FPS is not an issue for me, and I do not plan on overclocking my PC.
What is your budget? Approximately $350 - $400 for the CPU upgrade, but am flexible
In what country are you purchasing your parts? USA

2024.04.06 22:09 Torvaldson Looking for Advice on Possible CPU Upgrade
When I built my current PC in December 2019, I used a 1 TB M.2 NVME SSD, which I thought would be large enough, since I also installed a 2 TB hard drive for extra data storage.
Well, four and a half years later, with games increasingly getting larger, I am running low on SSD space, so am now planning on replacing my 1 TB SSD with a larger 2 TB SSD.
I plan to take my PC to a local computer store in about a month for this upgrade, as I'd prefer their cloning the existing 1 TB SSD to the new, larger 2 TB SSD, rather than mess with it myself. Since this means I'll need to unhook all external cables, carry the PC tower downstairs, and drive it to the computer shop, I thought this might be a good time to also upgrade the CPU, so am seeking advice on which CPU to choose.
What is your intended use for this build? Playing games, plus general home business use
If gaming, what kind of performance are you looking for? I mostly play turn based strategy games, such as Civilization VI, on high video settings, using a 2560 x 1440 display. FPS is not an issue for me, and I do not plan on overclocking my PC.

2024.03.25 22:31 HLWLH From 2700X 16GB Ram to 7800X3d 64 RAM?
Hi guys,
I am looking to upgrade my 2700X PC from 2018, I'll be transferring my 3070 Ti to the new build. And may need some advice.
That may be upgraded later.
Issues I have with my current PC is frame drops and in VR racing (F1 22, Automobilista 2). I run the OG HTC Vive, not that much pixels but it struggles regardless.
Also I do some Solidworks (small assemblies), nice to have it faster, but stutters are not as annoying in this.
So focus is VR gaming performance.
Budget is about €1200,- in the Netherlands, which is about $1090 in PCpartpicker.
Am I missing something? Or are there better options in my budget?

2024.03.10 23:13 clalexander Device Wide Issues with optimum
We don't have access to another provider, so we can't switch because it is the only non-satellite provider in our area, and we are gamers so satellite isn't sustainable.
Anyways, we are on the 1gb plan. There are about 10 people in the household, so obviously the bandwidth is going to be spread apart some. But, even so, it is said that 1gb of internet is enough for up to 20 or even perhaps 50 devices, depending on what it is being used for. That being said, only 3 of us are online gamers. The rest of the household may use it for basic browsing or HD streaming for the maximum usage of the wifi.
The device I have the most issues with is my Desktop PC. I cannot currently afford an ethernet cord long enough to reach our router to do a proper router internet speed test, but either way, it does not appear that my PC actually has speeds different from my phone or tablet. The highest speeds I've seen are 40mbps dl/50 mbps up which, unsurprisingly, were when nobody else was playing online games specifically. I live in Kentucky, and even at these higher "acceptable" levels that should perform just fine, I get frequent disconnects and interruptions from games, website loading, and video streaming. My ping in games is at lowest 60, but consistently spikes to much higher. I cannot play without lag, and so I am hoping if I do purchase an ethernet cord it would help with the stabilization, but I don't understand why it is
consistently so unstable. Obviously, I understand its normal for it to be unstable and laggy at times, but it is a consistent underperformance kind of thing, which is what really annoys me. How is the "good" level for me still "high" and fluctuating?
I frequently get lows of as little as 0.1mbps up and down or perhaps 5-8 Mbps. I do not think a 1gb plan should average out to 8 Mbps per device, if you ask me. I rarely get higher rates than this. It is very frustrating. We have had optimum bring us a new router several times. They have checked the lines around our house and said nothing is wrong, one time they said there was something wrong and replaced it, but nothing changed. I just don't get it. I think it's just the company, honestly. I don't know what to do. I just want to have half decent service for the amount we pay.
Other notes: Because my mother has a young child (11), she also has installed
bark, a safety thing at home. I am whitelisted/ignored, but it may possibly have slowdowns associated with it? I do not know, it claims not to. For reference, I am a college student (20), and so I only come home during breaks, but these issues have been present for as long as I can remember. My little brother (17) who also plays online games, has reported the same/similar issues. He is a little closer to the router, too.

2024.02.29 21:10 LayoMayoGuy For those who are interested, I've created a control layout to play Star Citizen on the Xbox Elite Controller using Rewasd.
| Hello Citizens! As God Emperor Christ Roberts once said, it's "much easier traveling with a gamepad!". For me, I like to game with a controller when possible. I'm accustomed to it, can sit however I like, walk graciously in a spectrum of specific directions, and most importantly for this game, use thumbsticks to fly! Although this game is a little complex for a controller, the Elite Controller's additional paddles allow for a unified experience from space legs to space ship! It's a perfect fit for citizens alike. However, until CIG improves controller support (pls™) we'll have to use Rewasd. I've made a layout to play Star Citizen 3.22.1 on the Elite Controller Series 2 using Rewasd. Now, this isn't everything, but it is nearly everything you'll need. Fly with 6 degrees of freedom, play FPS missions, use the Mobiglass, starmap, salvage, mine, turret, and more. Usually these controller layouts require numerous modifiers that are a pain to remember, but here I've kept it to just one (Holding LB), with some exceptions. It certainly won't satisfy pro dogfighters, hard flyers, etc. But will be more than good enough for the vast majority. I've tried my best to make it intuitive and extensive. If there are some missing bindings of your wanting, at least this is a good foundation on which you can configure your own. Things to know: - This layout uses Rewasd, a third party controller configuration software that works great with the Xbox Elite Controller and adds a ton of functionality. You'll need to purchase the base software, and two additional features totaling $21. The features used in this layout are "Advanced mapping" and "Combo". And this is a one time purchase.
- To use this layout you'll need to download my Rewasd config, and also my Star Citizen control profile. Links to both are at the bottom of this post, with instructions if needed.
- This is a layout that works best with headtracking. If you do not have head tracking hardware, I'd say change the LB+R3 binding from "enable headtracking" to "freelook", however I will warn you the game can't differentiate freelook from ship controls so the ship will vertical thrust when looking up and down.
- This will totally mess up your keyboard+mouse bindings so you won't be able to switch back and forth on a whim. This layout is only for those controller ENTHUSIASTS! Kidding you can just swap the profile in the game settings if you want to go back to Keyboard+Mouse.
- This game is frustrating to create controller bindings for and it feels like sometimes it is working against me. There are some bindings here, like the power triangle management, if unbound, will be impossible to rebind due to an update. And other button combinations that just won't register. So if some things about this layout don't make sense, are unintuitive or laborious, just know I am working around a ton of weird stuff.
- Reminder that you can change any bindings if you like, just check Rewasd to avoid a conflict.
- Since 3.23 will likely introduce some changes to the bindings, I'll make a revised post when it releases. I'm excited to play 3.23 so I'll probably have a new layout made quickly.
Here's a look at the visualized layout: https://preview.redd.it/sr1gjwz0yklc1.png?width=1920&format=png&auto=webp&s=7c556df987b0affd64cdce41caddffe2c377a9f7 https://preview.redd.it/gmz3qrv4jklc1.png?width=1920&format=png&auto=webp&s=23b70d1a78c5ee4d1caf76178e41dc860a83c067 https://preview.redd.it/ei19hsv4jklc1.png?width=1920&format=png&auto=webp&s=1d35d15cd55efeb0fc5d1a7e59870205505d7859 https://preview.redd.it/hqr62sv4jklc1.png?width=1920&format=png&auto=webp&s=6ea3d73bc1b26d735cf78488380887815d4b63e0 Here's a quick demo showing some mappings. Sadly the overlay doesn't show paddle presses and remapped D-pad buttons but you can generally see it in action. Did I say quick? This ended up over five minutes long.. Some quirks and work arounds: Now, playing Star Citizen in it's current state requires you know a lot of weird workarounds. Playing with this layout is much the same! So here's what you should know: - Exit steam as it can cause issues.
- Sometimes the game just fails to detect the controller when using Rewasd and you may need to reinstall rewasd to get it to work. You can reinstall without deleting bindings or settings, so you won't have to redo anything and you'll be ready to go.
- Occasionally Rewasd needs to be refreshed, just go hit the "Apply to Slot 1" button if it stops working.
- There are two ways of scrolling in this Layout. LB+Upper Paddles is good for zooming the starmap, tractor gun distance, and RB+Triggers is good for scrolling inventory, ASOP, Shop/Elevator displays and MFD.
- Selecting things in mobiglass, inner thought wheel and some other menus require you to move the cursor very slowly with the Left Stick while clicking. it's the game being weird
- You'll also want to go easy moving the cursor in the Starmap. The map spins around if you push the Left Stick too far. Selecting things on the map helps
- You can hold D-pad RIGHT to emulate a mouse with the Right Stick. Use this and hold Lower Right Paddle to rotate the camera in the Starmap.
- Inventory. So Inventory has this weird issue (or feature) that will rotate the camera 90 degrees when moving the cursor too fast. As a solution, you can hold LT and Rewasd will dampen the sensitivity to prevent this. This doubly serves as a way to dampen the sensitivity while aiming down sights, so.. win win i guess.
- You can quick move items in the inventory by holding D-Pad DOWN and Lower Right Paddle (Left Click).
- Psst, you can rotate the camera in inventory view by holding Lower Left Paddle (Right Click) and moving Right Stick.
- You can also press LB+RB to exit inventory. It also opens the inner thought wheel.
- I recommend using the inner thought wheel for those missing bindings. Doesn't cover everything but helps.
- Pressing Y swaps between two primary weapons. To pull out a pistol, medgun or multitool, etc, you'll need to hold D-Pad UP to bring up the weapon wheel. If that doesn't show up, Use the Inner thought wheel.
- Sadly I couldn't find a way to rotate tractor beam objects with precision, all can be done is rolling as you would with Q/E. I haven't done salvage box stacking but I imagine this is very important.
- Left+Right Upper Paddles together is Boost. Sorry this means you can't boost while thrusting side to side. I usually roll on my side and use vertical thrust instead.
- When in Salvage or Mining mode, turn off the speed limiter using LB+D-pad UP (Hold) to prevent a conflicting binding. +/- Mining Laser power or +/- Tractor beam distance are using the same binding as +/- speed limiter (LB+RS y-axis).
- When rotating the 3rd person ship view, careful as sometimes the ship may move as well. The game can't differentiate freelook from ship controls so both happen at the same time.
- Also turn off the engines when you land. No this has nothing to do with the layout. Just... you know...
Settings to check: - Turn on sprint toggle in Settings > Game Settings.
- Check this box in the rewasd settings: Settings > gamepads > hide physical controller when virtual one is created. If this setting is not changed, sometimes the game fails to detect the controller. Not sure why.
- I felt the thumbstick curves are a bit sensitive, so you can change these in-game to 1.5ish or whatever number you feel comfortable with:
Settings > Controls > Thumbstick sensitivity curves > - Flight > Throttle - Flight > Freelook Mode - On Foot > FPS Movement Installing Rewasd Config If you haven't buy Rewasd & the "Advanced mapping" and "Combo" Features, and follow their instructions to activate your licenses. - Click the link below and hit "Import Config"
- In Rewasd, Add game profile, call it Star Citizen, then hit "Add"
- Where it says "Config 1" at the top, click it and hit "Import"
- Select the file you downloaded called "Layo's Layouts"
- Now make sure you're in the controller tab, and hit "Apply to Slot 1"
Installing Star Citizen Control Profile - Download from the link below.
- Place that file inside this folder: C:\Program Files\Roberts Space Industries\StarCitizen\LIVE\USER\Client\0\Controls\Mappings\
- Launch the game and go to Keybindings > Advanced Controls Customization > Control Profiles > LayosLayouts
- Assign the keyboard, mouse, and gamepad mappings.
Again if nothing works, reinstalling rewasd reliably fixes it for me. I recommend going into an offline freeflight in arena commander to test it out, as you can get out of your seat and FPS. You can't use mobiglass or inventory though, for that you can hop into PU. Get the Rewasd config here! Get the Star Citizen control profile here! 2024.02.28 21:36 chuddychuddy $1300 Dual Boot AMD First Time Build
Hello all. This is my first ITX build and second ever PC build. I'm looking for a final check before I pull the trigger(s). I'm using it to dual boot Linux (work + daily use) and Windows (gaming). Any advice would be awesome, especially alternative part recommendations!
List
PCPartPicker Part List Thinking
Case fans: My plan is to have two case fans at the bottom as intake, two at the top as exhaust, and an extra on the cpu cooler running as intake. I want to wait until I have the rest of the components to purchase the fans as it is not clear whether I will need 15mm.
AMD: A big reason I'm going AMD is that the graphics drivers are built directly into Linux. I prefer that over messing with proprietary Nvidia drivers, which I can recall being a pain in the past.
Hyper 212 Black: This seems to be a good cooler that (importantly) definitely fits in the NR200. I also like the way it looks. I considered the Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120SE and Scythe Fuma 3, but I don't feel like messing with potential compatibility issues. Finally, this cooler was recently recommended by
Machines and More, who has the most extensive array of NR200 videos.
RX 7700XT: I would have preferred the RX 6800XT, but only XFX is available which will not fit into the NR200. The 7800XT seems to be a better deal, but its out of my budget. Finally, there are several now on sale, which evens out the price a bit.
7600X: chosen by both
Logical Increments and
PC Part Picker for similar builds
RAM & SSD: I already have one SSD on which I will put Linux. On the other I will put Windows. I don't like messing with partitions. I didn't do a lot of research for RAM or SSD as they seem more or less similar across brands. Please let me know if that's not true or these were bad choices!
PSU: 750W would probably be fine, but the 850W is cheaper.
Thanks everyone!

2024.02.27 09:30 opakq Planning on upgrading 7 year old PC, unsure of bottlenecks
Here is my
build from 2018.
While most of the games I play aren't particularly demanding (Valorant, League of Legends, osu!, etc.), I've been considering an upgrade for a little bit mainly because of my Valorant fps being lower than I would like, with often noticeable frame drops. My fps ranges from 120-200 with about 10ms of game latency, and since I have a 240 hz monitor, I was really hoping to get at least a stable 250+. I only play on 1080p, and I don't really plan on getting a 1440/4k monitor, so upgrades in those aspects aren't important to me. I just want to have a relatively high stable fps in the games I do play.
I've done some research, and (correct me if I'm wrong) it seems like Valorant is mainly a single core CPU intensive game. My CPU usage was always relatively low in Valorant(around 30%), so it seemed like my 2700x was the bottleneck.
If I do upgrade my CPU, it seems like the best option available right now is the Ryzen 7 5800X3D, since I wouldn't have to buy a new motherboard. If I do purchase the 5800X3D, I will get a new cooler (Scythe Fuma 3 most likely) since I've heard the CPU runs a bit hot and the Wraith Prism probably wouldn't be enough.
The thing I'm worried most about is there being another significant bottleneck in my system, whether it be my ram, my graphics card, or anything else in particular. Would you guys recommend upgrading any other parts that might have a significant impact on framerate/latency? If I upgrade my GPU, I most likely would have to also upgrade my power supply since I only have 500W, so I would prefer not to unless it really did have a major improvement on the games I play.

I have already purchased an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D that should be coming in soon, so I am looking to upgrade predominantly my GPU and probably my Monitor to a 1440P/175-240hz monitor. I mostly play ESports esque games (LoL, Valorant, etc.) and the occasional RPG/ARPG (e.g. BG3, PoE, etc.), and value clarity and FPS overall. My current setup does not quite reach the FPS I want at the graphical settings I have. I have been looking at the 7900XT (likely the Sapphire Pulse at current pricing) and either the Alienware AW2723DF or the LG 27GR83Q-B.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions or need any additional information.
