Arguing online with people, I noticed that a lot of people will misconstrue what bodily autonomy means. Pro-lifers will say that anything that involves use of your own body, even when it’s you using your body to do task, can be conflated with another human physically using and occupying your body. To narrow down the principle that I’m trying to address, I will, instead of using bodily autonomy, cite bodily integrity, which is a subcategory of bodily autonomy.
The right to bodily integrity is the right to exclude all others from the body, which enables a person to have his or her body whole and intact and free from physical interference. (source: THE NATURE AND SIGNIFICANCE OF THE RIGHT TO BODILY INTEGRITY, Cambridge Law Journal)
So it’s the right to exclusive use and occupation of your own body, a right we don’t lose simply by getting raped or consenting to intercourse, especially when the bodily integrity infringement is high risk, high burden, and a lengthy, life changing physiological condition. We can exclude all others from our bodies, whether it comes to sexual activity, medical procedures, torture/assault, donation or reception of blood/tissue/organs, and of course, pregnancy. A weakness of this ability is that an individual can only be upgraded once at a time. Further upgrades will require removing the original and replacing it. If he is not aware of something, he cannot upgrade it. This requires him to have a passing knowledge of whatever he is enhancing.

Techniques

All applications of upgrade involve Rango targeting and enhancing a certain aspect of a person, it Even the person as a whole.
Monster-Grade - A technique that is largely used on animals, although it can also be utilized on Zoan-type or humanoid beings. This enhancement amplifies the animalistic properties of a target, turning them into "Yuuma" (jp) or "Cryptids" (en)
Servant-Grade - This is technically not a separate upgrade, but instead an Inherent property of the technique. Any target upgraded by Rango can have their body or mind hijacked by him, forcing them into fulfilling his commands.
Rango has utilized this ability to enslave criminals on his island, forcing them into becoming servants as part of a luxury resort.
As a side effect of this control, individuals will have glowing purple eyes.
Devil-Grade - Rango enhances the devil fruit of a target. This will either enhance the element of a user in the case of element-type fruits or provide an additional property for other such fruits. (Zoan upgrades will apply the Monster-Grade effect)
Health-Grade - An ability that is technically split into two. The first is Recovery Enhancement. This ability will grant an individual a passive ability to heal and mend wounds and injuries. This is rather slow, however, and will generally take a few hours to a day to complete depending on the injury. The second is Full Recovery, In which Rango will "Upgrade" a target to full health, regardless of injury or cause. However, because this change is a result of the upgrade, and not a side bonus as the other, once this upgrade is released, a target will return to their injured state. Generally speaking, this is only best in an emergency.
Stolen-Grade - An offshoot of "Servant-Grade", Rango uses his upgrade ability to hijack an object or weapon that traditionally cannot be used by individuals other than the original user.
Presently, Rango has used this ability to "Steal" a mirror owned by Brulee, granting him free access to her mirror dimension without her knowledge.
Castle-Grade - An upgrade that enhances the natural defense of a target
Hyper-Grade - An Upgrade that enhances the natural speed of a target
Ballistic-Grade - By upgrading a projectile attack, Rango can enhance its power and force of impact. Largely speaking, he uses this mostly on bullets to grant the power of a cannon
Split-Grade - A technique that allows Rango to bypass the original limitation of his fruit. He will split the upgrade into two branches of a whole, allowing him to upgrade multiple related aspects, but at half the original efficacy. This results in the arrow on a target branching into two separate arrows.
Downgrade - an inversion of his ability done by upgrading his own fruit. This allows Rango to instead reduce or weaken aspects of a target, such as their durability or speed.

Equipment

Rango has a series of equipment that he has enhanced to have useful properties
Mirror Portal: A mirror stolen from Brulee. This allows Rango to access his own section of the Mirror dimension. However, he can only enter an exit this section through this mirror, and does not have access to any other nearby mirrors.
Infinite Sachel: A satchel enhanced to have storage space equivalent to that of a large crate. Rango uses this satchel to store his armory of weapons.
Trace-A-Rang: A boomerang that is enhanced to lock onto a target and strike them, and then afterward always return to the user. This makes for the perfect projectile weapon, although it isn't very strong damage-wise.

Perfect Gauntlet: A pair of gauntlets enhanced with the strongest defense enhancements possible. This makes these gauntlets nearly unbreakable.

Hi all! I have a 2010 V6 XLT with 217,500 miles and recently had some crazy symptoms I’ve finally troubleshooted. I’m posting so in case anyone else runs into this issue, they can either have a starting place or a little validation.
Issue:
Started as a battery light on. Had battery for about a year so didn’t think it was bad and went to the local store for free testing. Everything including the alternator tested out fine. I have not had a new alternator before but did recently do preventive and needed belt replacements due to a water pump issue. I assumed it was the alternator to begin with but given it was testing out fine, wasn’t too concerned. I went to a shop with more testing abilities and they also said battery and alternator were in peak condition and wanted to rip the dash out to fix the light. I wasn’t super worried about a light and didn’t want to fork over for unnecessary repairs.
Fast forward a few days and the power steering began clicking on and off along with phantom air conditioning turn ons. This occurred mostly in park but the power steering began going in and out as well while driving. This prompted more research and in reading online forums, discovered others encountered similar issues with Fords around my same make year. I didn’t see much in terms of fixes but decided it was worth another mechanic check.
My normal mechanic put it through a full list of tests and it was coding out as high voltage issues. Turns out it was sending 16.5 volts consistently and also had low voltage issues periodically.
Diagnosis: Faulty voltage regulator. They put in a new alternator and this has fixed the issue.
I’m not a mechanic so definitely recommend doing your diligence but hopefully this can help in case someone else is searching for possibilities as to what might be causing their car problems! 😀

High BR and all you have is people sitting 8km away sniping with brainless Vikhrs. No wonder nobody likes heli pilots, you don't even know how to fly to do this.
Around 8.x BR you have helis that need to still max range their ATGMs to not insta die to AA / machineguns - again takes a little more skill since you can actually die, but not much.
And then you have things like the AB 205 A-1, 14 rockets, loud AF, dies to tank .50 cals in matter of moments. 7.7 BR btw. This heli is one of the ones that arguably requires the most skill, but is also considered absolutely trash.
Why? You need to fly close to the target to actually hit it, you need to be able to fly low and fast while avoiding buildings / trees, and actually aim the rockets. There are other terrible vehicles, this isn't the only one. On top of this, in all lower BR helis you are a free kill for the jet if the jet pilot has any sort of skill.
Now I don't think they can fix high BR. It cannot realistically be balanced with modern equipment, but what can be done is bring helis down into lower tiers, of course not how they are right now.
If you give the best heli pilot the AB 205 A-1, and make him play in 5.x BR do you really think he will be dominating the whole match? Somehow I doubt it, even if death is avoided, the resupply runs alone are naturally going to be taking them out of the fight.
What I would suggest:

• Add new helis or remodel existing
• Remove ATGMs
• Remove bombs
• Bring them into lower BRs
• Restrict amount of rockets they can carry (means the pilots need to resupply and land)
• Let utility/scout helis spot in some manner (regular spotting would be too powerful, but perhaps some other utility they can bring beyond pew pew).

This would encurage people to actually play something new, it will also mean you need to be a good pilot to do well, and yeah helis don't really belong with WW2 era vehicles, but this surely isn't a problem since we have CW fighting WW2 era and CW fighting modern tanks at certain BRs.

Apologies if this is an inappropriate post (feel free to remove) but I would really appreciate it if someone could give me some names. I have an on again/off again gf who suffers from some combination of cPTSD/GAD with dissociative features stemming from serious childhood abuse. I'm not kidding about the dissociation. Stress regularly sends her into insane-o hypomanic fugues where her behavior is highly reminiscent of this or worse (3 non-serious suicide attempts since I've known her and I've 5150'd her once). It's really freaky to observe - at one point I thought she actually had Dissociative Identity Disorder. Less-severe episodes occur roughly weekly.
Anyway, she recently had a severe episode and I gave her a therapy ultimatum which she's accepted. In my view she needs some flavor of CBT designed to help her manage overwhelming feelings plus someone to prescribe an SSRI but IANA therapist so I'll start wherever. I don't think a GP is sufficient because she heavily self-medicates with booze and benzos so she needs someone who will work with her to ease her on to a more reasonable regimen. She's very smart (130+ IQ), very defensive, over-intellectualizes and doesn't suffer fools. She will only respond to someone very smart and no-nonsense and that person has to be willing to hold her feet to the flames and cut through her intellectualizing nonsense. Absolutely no woo (e.g. EMDR, opening shakras, etc). She's a successful sales exec so money isn't an issue, but finding truly smart and experienced therapists is. I think table stakes for her is Ivy-educated with 20+ years experience. Anyone dumber would just be a waste of everyone's time. Half-joking, but the ideal person for her would be Hannibal Lecter lol. The murdering would only make her respect him more. Again, really only half joking.
We're in a smallish Central California town so it needs to be online. She'll be moving to NYC soon so if anyone knows anyone good there that would be a plus. I'd also appreciate suggestions for other places to look for advice.

I've been thinking about the way we use our ships in the verse, and with the recent update bringing Master Modes (MM), I'd like to better understand why things are the way they are today. I apologize in advance about the length of this message ("I could have made it shorter, but I didn't have the time"), and just to be clear: this is not a rant about MM, this is only my ideas for the future of SC. This really is an invitation to discuss, please put your guns down ;)
The way things are today, there's really 3 methods to move our ships around. There's the (1) standard way, which is called SCM (Space Combat Maneuvering) that is limited to 200 or 300 m/s depending on your ship or environment. There's also (2) Navigation mode (NAV), which goes up to over 1000 m/s, again depending on your ship and environment. Finally there's Quantum mode (QT) which allows you to travel extremely fast to a quantum marker.
Each mode comes with its own caveat, which end up being extremely important while playing:

1. SCM: you have shields and weapons enabled, but you cannot outrun anyone.
2. NAV: you're fast enough to escape, but you won't have shields or weapons available, so you're very vulnerable.
3. QT: After a first phase of spooling (charging) and calibrating to the marker, while your speed is up and your shiels and weapons are down, you can enable quantum speed, which is so high that you are instantly gone. While at quantum speed, you cannot control your ship.

Before 3.23, SCM and NAV were the same mode, and you could decide to be fast at anytime while keeping access to your shields and weapons. This caused a lot of problems like jousting (back and forth combat at high speed), or being able to bail out of a fight at anytime by just bolting away. MM is trying to fix this issue with the new NAV mode which disables your shields, and limiting SCM speeds.
An interesting point to note is that switching to NAV from SCM is not possible, as you switch to QT first. NAV is only the second option, so if you're looking to escape, QT mode is really what you're going to use, since it first allows you to speed up while spooling your quantum drive, then once spooled, you're free to run to another quantum marker. Going to NAV would only make sense if you're looking for some time to recharge your shields away from your attacker, but it doesn't feel as possible as it use to be since NAV disables your shields.
Sorry for this long preamble, but I think it's necessary to understand what I'm thinking about. As it is today, I think that NAV mode only exists because we do not have custom quantum markers, and that quantum markers should always bring you under 20k of your destination. Let me explain in more details:
Most often, I use NAV when coming out of QT, if I know where I'm going and I just want to get there faster. For example, I'm trying to go to a bunker and I'm coming out of QT 25k away from it. I would switch to NAV in order to hide the QT marker obstructing the center of my screen, and aim for the bunker until I'm about 5k away, at which time I would switch to SCM to get my shields back in case there's a turret or an enemy. I would also use NAV if I need a quick boost to reach a space station after QT to it.
While exploring, I would also use NAV if I want to quickly explore another area close by (a mountain or lake I see on the horizon), but again, the only reason I would switch to NAV would be to hide all the QT markers. If it wasn't for QT markers, I would never really use NAV.
Now you might think that I'm trying to suggest that we should get rid of NAV, but that's not what I have in mind. I think we should just not allow high speeds at all. But that's only possible if we can make our own QT markers, and if QT markers brought you close enough (10k I'm thinking) that you don't ever feel the need to go faster. Here is the list of what I think would make more sense:

• SCM: unchanged, this is actually your only mode, QT becomes something that you enable/disable while in SCM.
• NAV: removed, you can only go as fast as your SCM speed allows.
• QT: when enabled, your shields and weapons are turned off to spool. You cannot go faster, as all your energy is used to charge your quantum drive.
• Quantum markers always transport you at a maximum of 10-12k away from your destination, except for planets and moons of course.
• You can make your own quantum markers, with a minimum of 30k away from your current position. Ideally, you should be able to do small jumps without using your mobiglass (aim to a direction, select a distance, click) but with the mobiglass, you can set your destinations with more precision.

Why do I think it would be better:

• NAV mode is technically less plausible (I know I know, it's a game, none of it is). You're not using your quantum drive, but you're still going 3 to 4 times faster than usual by using your ship's engine, while spooling.
• I find that I'm using NAV speeds only because the game isn't right yet. It's like a band-aid to hide the fact that some features are missing, namely the custom QT markers.
• I don't understand the logic behind exiting quantum travel 30k or even 20k away from your destination. I feel like this is okay because we can go to high speeds, but as I mention, I don't understand high speeds, so this bothers me.
• I think it would be easier to balance ships if there's less variables to deal with. Right now, they have to balance SCM and NAV speed and acceleration for each ship. Removing high speed from NAV would simplify things by half.
• In most science fiction, ships either go their normal speed, or light speed. I don't think they ever have a 3rd mode.
• I think it would be simpler to use. It's a simpler concept that should be easier to grasp for new players.

What am I missing? Is there a use case where not having high speeds available would break the experience? I'm very conscious that none of this is possible right now as we just don't have all the features needed, but I wonder if this would work in the future. Thanks for reading all the way!

I recently played an io ck lane vs centaur void spirit (vs was 4; wcyd). I had a bit of a sentry war for the first 3 minutes of the lane, and then we had to contest lotus and get a kill. I couldn't leave my ck even to pull, because the enemy was double denying and frankly my carry was kinda a dumbass who neither denied nor harassed, but just sort of waited for last hits.
So I decided to stack the hard camp. It was triple stacked at a certain point in the game, and obviously centaur would probably go and farm. We certainly couldn't. But here's the thing: while centaur did get a lot of gold, and invested a fairly low amount of hp (seeds+helm+bracer) for the stack, ck and I were within xp range the whole time.
What would you prefer more, a level 6 centaur and a level 4 io, or a level 7 and a half centaur and a level 6 io? Which is what ended up happening; simultaneously, vs had left lane and was running around level 4, trying to make a gank on bottom, where I quickly relocated and whereafter the enemy supports had to wait until minute 14 to get their ults.
I use this trick in other matchups as well, particularly with disruptor, because thunderstrike makes it really hard to contest the neutral creeps (more often than not the creeps just end up getting the last hit), which means the only thing you're giving up is exp, but once an offlaner hits 6 it rarely matters at what time they hit 7 or 8. Additionally, while most offlaners have infinite health pools, using their mana pools on the camp is a huge tax, and the stick charges are also super handy. Finally, it sometimes frees you up to cross the lane and get a lotus, while your carry can drag the wave over and stand in xp range.
Overall, this is a decently high-level strat (I'm 7k), but I think people should give it some consideration. At the very least, I doubt the other safelane is getting all of this free xp.

I need advice y’all. Its a long one. Was induced yesterday due to several high bp readings.
Came in at 5:30 pm 1 cm dilated. At 6:30/7pm received first dose of cytotec/misoprostol vaginally and did not dilate until my second dose at 11pm which had me at 2cm. At 4 am started pitocin which dilated me to 2.5/3cm when my dr broke my water at 7am.
Since then I received the epidural (pitocin contractions after your water is broken are no joke), and have only dilated to 5cm now at 6pm.
My issue is I keep having irregular contractions back to back (literally won’t even come down from one on the screen when it’s already climbing up again) from two together, 3 together and now even 6 together. I am virtually pain free due to the epidural but I am worried about baby.
No signs of fetal distress (they have him with a monitor on his head) but I am very frustrated and scared. I’m a FTM and quite frankly my nurse has not been the best this day shift.
How do I even go about asking for a c-section? I mean can I?I just want my baby to have a little break between so many contractions I feel he doesn’t even have a chance to breathe before my uterus is contracting again. I appreciate any advice/experiences/comments y’all may have.

An Indian guy, here in Canada “to study” (his words) told me he’s working under a contract. Essentially the government was giving this company a grant to employ him and presumably others, He worked full time. Why the hell should we support people protesting to stay here and steal jobs and hours from young Canadians? Kids don’t want work, they say.. I sure as shit didn’t want to work that job but like every other kid, I had to, money isn’t free.
If you’re an international student you shouldn’t be working at all, period. You’re here to study not make coffee and Big Macs.
If you want to immigrate to Canada and provide more to society then making my cream and sugar every morning, I welcome you. But don’t come here as a student with no intentions on being a student, work at Tim Hortons and then cry whenever you have to go back home.

Camera fires, all speeds work, advancing lever is smooth. Viewfinder is clear and bright, no dust; there seems to be a very faint spot of prism degradation on the lower left that is hard to capture in photos, but it is a miniscule spot. Light seals are brand new.
Leather throughout the body is a bit rough, with some corners peeling off a little bit; there's one corner on the front lower right side that has a piece missing and reveals one of the body screws, which I believe resulted from the last maintenance the camera received. It has some stains where the hot shoe mount used to sit on. There is a scratch on the black piece on top of the advancing lever from where they probably unscrewed it to do maintenance. The timer functions properly and as intended.
The light meter seems to be inaccurate, mostly indoors. It turns on and will react to changes in speed and aperture, but is a few stops underexposed when used indoors. It seems to be more accurate outdoors when there is more light to take in, as it is usually one stop or half a stop off from my external light meter. I would not rely on the internal light meter for shooting.

The lens is fair condition, but I have not tested it either and cannot guarantee the image quality that will come from it. However, the imperfections in the glass aren't apparent unless you shine a very bright light directly to the elements. There is haze to be found mostly on the front element, slight haze on the rear element. There are a couple specks of dust that are noticeable on the back element. There are some scratches throughout the body of the lens. The rubber ring to control the focus is coming loose, but stays in place (used some glue to glue it at specific spots around the ring). Lens will only come with a front cap and will be attached to the camera during shipping.
Focusing is smooth. Aperture is smooth and clicky. Aperture blades are clean and free of oil. Apertures work properly and open and close when camera fires.
All in all I personally believe that if put to use the camera would perform properly, but there is no way to know until film is developed from it; so please be aware that the camera is untested and it's reliability or functionality are not being guaranteed whatsoever. Buy at your own risk.

the uni wasnt great at all, its very draining lalo na yung mga teachers since theyre not teaching well. di naman ako mahirap turuan e kaso nga lang pansin ko sa mga teachers, kung hindi favoritism its either mababa magbigay ng grade or high expectations. my dad saw my performance yet my grades r not great, pati mental health ko damay. Hello everyone, popping back in with another welcome post for those out their that may be interested.
I have a small discord server called Degenerate Dads of MTG which was made in hopes of helping Dads and parents specifically who have a difficult time finding there way to make it down to the LGS or just out to game night for MTG amongst their busy schedules. Here we play through spell table and discord online with others through spell table about once a week or every other week.
This also goes for anyone else unable to go to the LGS anymore or can't play in person. There is a place for you on here we only ask that there be some interaction and effort to talk amongst the group and get games in don't just hope to join and lurk around for 6 months because this is not the place and will probably reach put and see whats up or have you move along we are rowdy, fun and we will call you out and tag you to join the fun.
Currently we have 70 members amongst them 30 are fairly high active and play multiple days throughout the week. Other vary throughout their schedules.
Currently I would say 70% of the server is Est and CST time zone, the other 30% occupied PST so the average times games are sought out after are between 2 and 6pm and 830 pm Monday to Friday, the weekends are free for all could have games all day or none at all we are all family men and women here.
It is definitely a more relaxed discord looking for fun and experiencing the time playing relaxed, with a slight bit of competition building up over the years. Most of the group is mid to high power their is rule 0 conversations and encouraged talks to better settle on a group level of comfort. In addition to a area just for precon level games and small 10 card upgrades or budget upgrades.
** we have also opened up a CEDH section of our group now approx 20 people, we are hoping to find some others simular to us learning to play. **
We run secret Santa's over holiday seasons for those interested in deck give aways and building, as well as a precon league we just started in hopes to upgrade precons together and play for fun weekly! Some other modes we play are planeswalk, a precon league in addition to PEDH and THG being introduced we try to have everyone incorporated into the fray and fun of slinging spells.
