2024.06.09 05:14 CourageousEclipse Leo woman dating a Scorpio man

So, I am a Leo sun, capricorn moon, virgo rising girl. And I am dating a Scorpio man with a scorpio moon.
First things first. The sex is amazing to say the least and I had high expectations. He is the only scorpio I’ve dated. My two real loves were aries (shocker for the leo.) But I’ve been single for long and have a hard time catching feelings.
But he does not give me anything concrete. And I am not even sure if he wants something serious. Until now I have felt like every guy that I’ve dated is dead serious about me, and wants a relationship.
He told me that our conversations always go so deep, and that he likes it. He is so loving and chatty when we meet but I feel like I have to initiuate when we meet up (sure I have a tougher scheduele, and he has told me) But how do I know that he wants something serious?
After three dates, and talking everyday, I feel so close to him, which I never do (I lose interest so fast)
I moved to a different city for a couple of months but we havent talked about where this is going, but he keeps sending me messages.
What I thought was weird, the night before I left and we had a great date, he showed me he was on a dating app, and then said; oh its just nice for a confidence boost.
I did not say anything because we are obviously not exclusive. But fellow scorpios, I’d like to hear your thoughts..
WHAT DOES HE WANT? (my capricorn moon wont let me ask)
He is opening up to me and telling me private thing - asks me to not tell anyone and says our compability in bed is unmatchted.
My best girlfriend/soulmate is a scorpio and I have many times told her I want a male version of her as a romantic partner.
He feels as her.
Does he like me?
I have never been not sure before because I’ve ended every single relationship I’ve been in.

2024.06.08 21:57 kumamasan Ketu sting?

My life is literally in shambles right now, I am a medical grad from a top tier 1 med school sitting like a sloth at home for pg prep for the past 2years. Ever since the ketu md started i got into all kind of bullshit there exists including but not limited to alcohol, nicotine, girls, etc etc. left 2 govt employment chances one year back ok almost 90k pm thinking i will ace the exams. Its not my lucks fault or the exams fault, i just cant study at all, in the last 1.5 year i have literally learnt basic astrology, music production, video production, coding(YES CODING but i am a medical grad). IJUST CANT STUDY FOR MY OWN EXAMS no matter how hard i try. Always wanted to be a gynaecologist, but i am not clearing any exam now,and my best ketu md jupiter ad is about to end. My finances are ducked, my career seems ducked, my relationships, never had one and have desperately been rejected more than 10 times, my health : got full diabetes and hypertension at 27 age so ducked too. My chart looks too promising to me, where am i going wrong? What scares me most is THE STING IS LEFT, its the end game in ketu md now and into dasa sandhi too. Is there more left? Every day i just get up and cry. Will i ever get a pg seat in gyne?

2024.06.08 19:01 oaiisea New to Astrology? Start here!!

It's time to Change Your Perspective!!

It's time to break some common misconceptions and get some of the super basics about astrology.
(This is an excerpt from the beginnerastrology Wiki!)

Your Sun sign.

Also known as your zodiac sign, star sign, or just your "sign." This is the sign that the sun happened to be in at the exact time of your birth. That means that YOU are not an Aries, instead your Sun is in Aries in your natal chart

Your natal chart.

This is basically a snapshot of the sky when you were born. The sky is divided into 12 parts, each part represented by a sign of the zodiac. Each planet (for simplicity's sake, we are referring to the sun and moon as planets) was in a specific sign when you were born thus creating your natal chart.

The other planets.

"Wait," you may be thinking, "Other planets?" Why yes! The Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune AND Pluto are also each in a specific sign in your natal chart. Each planet represents a different part of your personality.

The signs.

You definitely know your Sun sign, maybe your friends' and family's Sun signs too. They are Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces. The signs each have their own different personalities. VERY IMPORTANT. No sign is better or worse than another, they are just different. EVERY sign has both positive and negative traits, as does every human.

Cusps.

Being born on a cusp does not mean you are a mix of two signs. Your Sun, and other planets, fall either in one sign or another. (Cusps are relevant in more advanced areas of astrology in different ways, but since this subreddit is for beginners, we're only going to refer to cusps as the visual line separating houses or signs.)

The houses.

You may have heard of the ascendant, or rising sign. This is the first of the twelve houses. Each house represents a different area of your life.

The aspects.

These are all those colorful lines you'll see when you generate your natal chart. They show the interactions between the planets. Aspects can be either challenging or easy, NOT good or bad. Easy aspects allow energy to flow easily while with challenging aspects energy doesn't flow as easily. Challenging aspects are necessary in order to overcome and improve.

The native.

This is the person who the birth chart represents. In this case, YOU! Ultimately, you are in control of your life, not the chart. The chart is not the one living your life every single day. You are! You are the only thing responsible for how your life turns out.
What did we miss?

I’m a Capricorn sun who’s life is finally looking up, i finally found love. But as a Capricorn I’m scared of it being some kind of “lesson”. Does my chart have any indication of life getting easier as I get older?
Hey y’all, hopefully someone will respond to this, but I have seriously gone through the ringer in my past, abuse, emotional manipulation, mental illness, narcissistic relationships, death of a cousin, my first cat died in my arms as a kid and recently being diagnosed with autism and adhd. I am very happy with my life currently but feel like I can’t enjoy it Because all life has shown me so far is that it can give me good things then rip it away and I feel like I’m constantly fighting a battle with life… I know Capricorns usually have a harder start to life, and gets easier as they grow, and with my Gemini rising, I’m really hopeful that my life is turning around for the best as I get older. I also have only had an abusive relationship as a teenager and just recently (5 years later) have started dating my current boyfriend (an Aquarius and scorpio rising, but all his other placements are the same as my chart) and I feel like he completes me. I love him dearly and he’s done nothing but show me love, compassion, kindness, empathy, and patience as I navigate a relationship after only knowing abuse. I just am sick of lessons hahah. Can anyone tell me more about their interpretations of my chart?

2024.06.08 15:30 Own_Stranger_2122 Lordships

Every signs is assigned to a particular planet. Those planets are given lords ships for a house. It is said that all the signs belonged to the sun and the moon. But the other planets except rahu and ketu(shadow planets/nodes) went to sun to ask for a sign for each of them. After getting the signs. Each of the planets cunningly so ever went to the moon and asked for a sign each. Thus, resulting in each of the planets except sun and moon to own 2 signs. But since, they used their cunningness for getting an extra sign. One of the other signs became negative sign. Example aries is positive, scorpio is negative. This has nothing to do with good or bad. It's just the significations of it.
The planet Mars was given lordship of aries and scorpio
The planet venus was given the lordship of Taurus and libra
The planet mercury was given the lordship of Gemini and virgo
Moon was given the lordship of cancer but, some big and renounced astrologers say that it's also the co-ruler of Taurus.
Sun is the ruler of the leo sign, technically the sun should also be the co-ruler of aries but I haven't heard many astrologer talk but about sun in aries sign except for its exaltation position. So it's not really clear to me either.
Jupiter has been given the lordships of the signs Sagittarius and Pisces.
And Saturn is given the lordships of Capricorn and aquarius.
Rahu and ketu are the most unpredictable planets so there's not much written about there lordships but there are a few dictims which I will discuss in detail when I'm talking about the planets itself.
For now we'll consider rahu as the co-lord of aquarius and ketu the co lord of scorpio.
Rahu is also told to be the co lord of virgo and ketu the co lord of Pisces but much of it is truth should be researched upon. As of now. I haven't read enough about it.

2024.06.08 15:10 BooBoopsie The most UNATTRACTIVE signs/placements?!

Aquarius/Aquarius rising - some of them look normal and okay, but there's a large % of Aquarius people who look weird asf. They have the strangest, most unattractive facial features. They look odd.
Aries women - long roman noses, big eyes that are unattractive (not sexy eyes like Pisces or Scorpio). Way too many masculine physical traits on females tend to be Aries on the Sun or ASC/aspecting ASC.
Capricorn is a hit or a major miss.

2024.06.08 14:51 SourceAnxious707 What does Pluto going into Aquarius mean for Virgo risings? What does Pluto returning back into Capricorn from September to November 2024 mean for Cancer Suns/Scorpio Moon?

Hello all, I'm a Cancer sun, Virgo rising, Scorpio Moon, Scorpio North Node/Taurus South Node. It has been pure hell the past 15 years when Pluto in Capricorn was in the cardinal signs (in my case Cancer). During the last 15 years, my pet died, cut ties with all my friends (especially during the pandemic), tons of frenemies, dealing with constant toxic and competitive people, failing exams, roller coaster up-down years of unemployment, no stability, no boyfriend, in the last year of the Pluto in Capricorn transit was diagnosed with inability to have kids, health declined, dealt with xenophobia and bullying studying abroad, and the list goes on, and on, and on of just challenges after challenges in the last 15 years.
Since the transit of Pluto moved into Aquarius, I have been feeling a bit better and yet there is still a struggle. Still unemployed and no friends, but I feel more peaceful. Still battling with my parents due to being unemployed, but this time, they are understanding and slightly more patient. Health is a bit more balanced. I’m more street wise, and able to read people (potential friends) and situations like a book. I have more boundaries and standards. I’m also trying to learn how to control and regulate emotions so that I pick up faster when a person is more of a frenemy than a loyal friend. I’m still struggling but just less if that makes any sense.
So, wondering if the cancer and virgo risings will get a huge hit from September to November 2024, and we have to deal with more turmoil in the fall. How the Pluto in Aquarius will hit the cardinal signs? I’m just tired and mentally drained. Hoping the cardinal signs will get a break and this fall will not be that bad, and that there is light in the Pluto In Aquarius for us cardinal signs. Would love to hear anyone’s insights.

2024.06.08 06:52 BruxaAlgarvia What is it like having a Capricorn descendant?

I have my descendant in Capricorn but I am not sure what to make of it.
My ASC is in Cancer, which I guess couldn't be more different.
I don't know a lot of Capricorn people so it's hard to tell. I guess they couldn't be more different than me: I'm not really into routines, rules, I'm not particularly organized, really I've always been rather chaotic and intuitive, I'm not one with great ambitions of power and a leadership role or something important doesn't particularly appeal to me.
I don't attract a lot of Capricorns, really I don't think I know any. I attract mostly Sags, Geminis, Scorpios.
Since it's my descendant, I'm supposed to transform more into it as I grow older. Which makes sense, I'm far more methodical and organized than I used to be. I feel like I am shifting more towards that but so far it's hard to have a clear picture (I'm 26). I've become extremely hardworking too, to the point of workaholism at times, when i get my mind into something. I've also always tried to make people not take me seriously, acting rather silly, I've always been a bit naive and idealistic, but as I grew older I can feel a shift to that more cynical, detached Capricorn energy. Things don't get to me as much emotionally.
There's people who think Capricorns are "literally the devil", why is that? Aside from corresponding with The Devil card in the tarot.
I'm also learning to embrace challenges and hardship, and grown to like how much I grow when I achieve something on my own. The picture of the lone goat that climbs the highest mountain is something that is beginning to resonate with me. It's something I grew into, I was a lot more Cancerian as a kid and throughout my teens.
I've always had some fascination for Capricorn people, even though they don't really appeal all that much to me and I feel like being like them would be too much work? And yet I admire them? Part of me still feels like they lack joy and imagination and that all that hardwork and power, while necessary, would make me feel trapped and take the fun out of life. Although i can see more and more why it is important as I get older. Maybe I will grow to enjoy that as well?
My Saturn is in Aries in the 10H by the way.
Anyone else with a Cancer ASC and Capricorn DSC, what has it been like to you?
If you are a Capricorn, what is it like being one?

2024.06.07 22:34 Standard_Pudding_604 Scorpio being "controlling" is soooo overestimated

There are signs that are far more controlling TO YOUR FACE about it unapologetically but you don't see them getting a bad rap for it like Scorpio does.
I'm looking at fire signs, especially Aries and Leo, and my Sagiterrorist mom especially. These mfs are pushy as hell, it's overwhelming! And they hate when you push back with a different opinion, even if they're wrong. They're allergic to being challenged, which is toxic.
And Caps! Does anyone talk about Capricorn having a propensity for CEO-mindset task delegation? Good god is it there (my mom has a stellium in this too). Virgo as well!
Most of the Scorpios I've known have kept to themselves and minded their own business or tried to help others/the group, but not in that covert manipulative way that everyone says Scorpios do. If anything I've seen them prefer others to control situations, or if they were assuming dominance in a situation, it's because they were fit to be there. If you tell them you have a different opinion about a course of action, they back down.
They're not scary. Actually they are often quite submissive lol.
When it comes to being controlling, I really think there's some other signs we gotta watch out for.
Thinking about a toxic hyper-controlling Aries in my past 😑

2024.06.07 16:19 SublimeNote Is it worth being patient with a Scorpio man or do I let go?

I started dating a scorpio man 3 years ago and we had the most immense chemistry and romantic relationship where we felt a deep connection and became so comfortable with each other very fast, we were really enjoying getting to know each other, I was literally becoming obsessed with him (I’m a Capricorn woman) but for reasons he’s never been clear about he ended things abruptly. We still kept seeing each other every now and then but more casually for the past couple of years, I’m usually the one to reach out but I was getting dead interest in the end so I gave up.
I moved away from the city we both live in for a year, came back last week and reached out to him and he was great, supper open, the time we spend time together was amazing and our connection and chemistry was exactly how it was in the beginning, we have so much in common, the sexual chemistry is great, I was seeing the sweet side of him again, we didn’t realise how much we missed each other until that evening, he’s single, I’m single and I was starting to consider if maybe we could give it another try.
He wanted to meet again during the week, I was busy but I wanted to see him again on the weekend, he said he couldn’t and was busy with work but I know he could have made time in the evening. I truly felt like he was pushing me away again (maybe because I didn’t give him the time in the week that he wanted?). I got some really bad advice from a friend to just turn up to his place and see him (which I did) and it wasn’t a good idea and I felt bad as soon as I got there, he was really really upset, mainly upset I didn’t listen to his request of not meeting that night kept saying ‘you didn’t listen to me’ and I apologised but he was still upset. He told me to stay the night so I did but he was cold all night and it was horrible so in the morning I left without saying much. We haven’t spoken since.
I really like this man, I think he’s amazing deep down, a heart of gold (that he hides but I can see it) and we have so much in common and I see us having an amazing life together, we get along so well and have the same outlook on life but he has this tendency to shut me out just as things are getting good and I don’t know what to do. I want him, there’s a part of me that doesn’t want anyone else but him but I just don’t know where I stand with him. I know he has a lot of internal work to do and I am ready to be patient but I know many will say this is too much work and I should just move on and not date potential.

Hey all,
With the upcoming Mars squaring Pluto transit, I have seen a lot of fear mongering/warnings, and I am wondering if the transit would be easier or more difficult for those with Mars squaring Pluto in their natal chart. (in whole signs, I'm an Aquarius rising, Scorpio 10th house sun, with Saturn conjunct my sun, and Pluto also in my Scorpio 10th house, squaring Mars in my Capricorn 12th, so these are my big heavy-hitting planets). Edit: added Placidus birth chart.
Thanks!
