So, I made this clan for myself basically.. I'm not really into this huge selling point trying to promote myself or others.. I tend to run with randos, or I'm by myself doing content. But, I would like for that to change..
I'm generally an average-good patient player with limited deaths for the most part in everything I do.. Im not eso, but Im decent enough to have at your side, I have a smart brain, prob the world's chillest introvert you'll ever meet.. Have most exotics and growing my arsenal. I kinda would like the same from my members.
Played alot of D1, Have raid completions, up until some of the recently added ones. But here's ideally what I'm looking for, one be yourself. Would like atleast one Sherpa in the clan that can lead the group and teach others. Would love it if we could do all the roles in all raids, etc.. Two, be just a mature, respectful, person.. I'm looking for loyalty, and determination to grow my clan into something more then just myself.. A tight-knit one.. I don't need hundreds of people. Just 6-8 active guardians who are usually Solo, but are skilled and have more knowledge of the content that I missed.

For those who may not know, whenever a unit of ANY kind is knocked to the ground, they are temporarily immune to damage until they get back up. I can understand why this could be good for multiplayer pvp, but I don't play that, so I can't speak for how well it works in that area of the game.
However, for campaign battles, (which the vast, VAST majority of players engage in) it just needs to go. There are several reasons why this needs to go and with varying degrees of severity.

It makes mounted heroes and lords an even bigger liability

Putting a hero/lord on their mount already makes them take more damage. They become a bigger target which allows ranged and melee to hit them easier.
However, it also PREVENTS them from getting knocked down. This should be a good thing, but because of this mechanic, it allows the opposing lord/hero to take no damage while your lord/hero remains an active target. As an example, if Franz attacks Harry Hammerstorm while on Deathclaw and Hammerstorm gets knocked down, Hammerstorm will receive ZERO damage. He will then promptly get back up and successfully hit Franz, dealing damage. I've personally seen this exact situation happen FIVE consecutive times, resulting in a grand total of ZERO damage to Hammerstorm, while Franz lost a quarter of his health.

On top of becoming a liability, it greatly discourages the use of mounts.

Some mounts are just as iconic as the lord they carry, which makes it a great shame to leave them behind. This is mainly effects immersion, but it also has the effect of making mounted heroes and lords far less effective than they ever should be.

Calvary, even elite calvary, becomes far less effective unless you micro them effectively

Micro is a skill that should never be removed from an RTS game, but the fact that expensive and elite calvary units STILL underperform without being very careful with them just doesn't feel good.

While reducing fun and effectiveness of gameplay elements, it also greatly reduces immersion

Seeing a Reiksguard slam into the rear of their unsuspecting victims and watching them go flying is incredibly cool, until the dudes that just flew thirty feet in the air get back up and start fighting like they didn't just get hit by a half ton brick shithouse.
Now, there are other solutions aside from outright removing this mechanic. Some of these include:
-Reducing damage taken while knocked down by 25% or 50%. Maybe depending on the type of unit it is, or perhaps it's armor value.

Removing it altogether for units, but keep the above damage reduction for heroes and lords
Removing it altogether for campaigns, but leaving it in for multiplayer ranked battles

I'm of the mind that it should be removed altogether. It feels like a dated and knee-jerk balance mechanic that, at this point in the game, does way more harm than good. Keeping lords and heroes on their mounts already increases the risk of damage, but making them far less effective in combat, especially agaisnt other lords and heroes, is just not a good mechanic to have.

Overall the new content is fantastic and I'm enjoying most of the balance tweaks for the release. I especially enjoyed the new bosses and overall feel good about it. Simon in particular was a tough fight for me on the first couple tries.

The blood fountain should have more than a cosmetic function. It's a literal fountain of blood. You'd think this would do something for vampires, no?

My working theory on best use would be:

Drop excess essence in there, 50 essence = 1 refined essence.
Essence matures at a rate of 1 per 2 minutes to refined essence (so you drop 5000 in you get 100% out after 200 minutes).
Drink refined essence from the fountain to refill your blood pool. 1 refined essence = 1% blood refill. It doesn't change the type, just refills.

The idea is the blood fountain refined blood over time for you. This means about every 3 hours you can refill blood for whatever you'd doing, which also makes the hassle of constantly messing with prisoners less of a chore (and this becomes functionally unnecessary once you're at endgame to even bother with once you stockpile, at that point prisoners are functionally dead space unless you're PVP forever on your server, which nobody really does because PVP has a life cycle). It's still useful to tap prisoners in that you can carry it with you in your inventory, and this is too slow for anything but solo to depend on (which if you're solo you want to mess with prisoners even less, once you clear all bosses there's no reason to even maintain anything but frail) but if you go back to base you have a blood fountain to refill your blood at which has a time/essence cost. You can as a clan, still build multiple blood fountains but they are also highly space intensive and you'd need to be farming the shit out of essence to keep up on it.
All in all this is a boon to everyone but makes the most difference to solo players who have less incentive to mess around with prisoners (prisoners is really a clan activity overall because of the labor intensivity, you have to fish, and jerk around with prisoners and examine blood, and a bunch of other busywork to get an edge over other clans, not the actual game.

For the love of god please remove the ability for trees/stone/foliage to regrow 1 square around a base. If I want trees I'll plant them or leave them there to begin with. All this does is make ugly clipping through walls that overall makes the game look and feel bad. You could also make it so they can't clip through walls but that's gonna likely be more work (ie you need to make a behavior for all these, rather than just add an extra square and remove the ability to build there around all areas, this is like an afternoon job for 1 guy). If you wanna get fancy you can make it highlight orange or something around the blue to indicate.

I mentioned this multiple times before 1.0. It was acceptable in early access, now it just looks like you're saying "good enough" and leaving it looking like butt unnecessarily. Yes, you can, as a builder, just not build to the edge, but holy crap, you already have plots so small as it is and reduced our tile count, could you just fix this please?

I'd really like to see the current post release road map. I know I want more build pieces/skins for build items and integrated mod support with be sick and significantly extend the lifespan of the game. Is there additional content forthcoming or is the game just done once it's patched? I'd be sad if the game is just done, because it was a lot of fun, but it's fun I can't have on repeat without additional content. Knowing that there are future expansions in the works or not would be cool.

Elitist Jerks, the guild from the forums, dates back to Vanilla WoW. Although the guild has gone through many iterations we still strive to clear the hardest content in a laid back atmosphere. There are guns that are generally good because they have niche use cases
Then you have everything else
People aren't upset because the "meta" guns are nerfed
People are upset because guns that had a niche usecase that made them viable for a certain thing is taken away, forcing us to "ReLy On StRaTeGeMs" that have long clds, or simply don't do enough to heavy enemies. Or rely on the same 5 guns we've had since launch that are useful and feel fun.
Guns should be useful. It's stupid to say they shouldn't be when you're dealing with multiple enemies every other minute, that they want you to use a strategem for. Guns should feel fun
And yes, I recognize these are fun guns:
dominator, plasma punisher, sickle, pummeler, counter sniper (for bots), liberator (kinda), the verdict/senator are solid asf (a few others, feel free to leave them below)
But I'm tired of using them
I was so excited to get new guns, but the crossbow is just a worse eruptor now. The eruptor is a worse scorcher, the purifier is a worse plasma punisher, and the list goes on
Guns shouldn't be better or worse versions of one another
They should be completely unique playstyles to one another
"Niche usecases" is how they should balance the guns
Guns should counter enemy variations so players are incentivized to take differing loadouts to deal with the different enemies we will encounter
Every. Single. Game has 3-4 dominators/scorchers in it, maybe some variation to the sidearms, maybe some variation to grenades
That isn't how you balance your guns. That right there, is a FUCKING META. I don't understand how people don't get this.
Their balance team is a joke, but I can recognize that while still enjoying the game

Rules of engagement:

KOS Protocol: Kill-On-Sight allowed in almost half the map (tier 3 loot and up) along with military crashes (planes trains and helis) and static gas zones.
PvP Protocol: No kill PvP allowed!!! (Robberies, kidnappings, hijackings etc etc) 2.2. Give cooperative victims about 10 seconds to comply with your command. Self-defense permitted, but be fast or good or... dead, I guess.
Base Protocol: You're safe in your base except during raid events.
- No more gas over your walls on a Wednesday when all you wanted to do was pick an outfit for Friday night drag races . No building within 300m of military areas. Raid events coming soon, drag races coming sooner ($10 PS codes up for grabs).
Safety protocol: No PvP safe zones. Currently Staroye (CTAPOE) and the camp all the way in the north east corner of map. Staroye is about ¼ populated currently, new settlers can claim a residence within the safe town walls.
Respect Protocol: Zero tolerance for discrimination. Trash talk is fine and we know role play can get very deep, but don't be a jerk.
