High everyone I’m 17 and in my junior year of high school and I’m pretty sure adhd and ocd ruined my school life. I’m pretty new to ocd, but suspected that I’ve had adhd when I learned about it in middle school. But whenever I would mention it to my family, they would say that I just need to try harder, I just need to focus and I’m smart but just never try hard enough. My mom graduated high-school early with high math credits, my lil cousin is a high level soccer player with a 3.0 gpa and my aunts and uncle started their own trucking company in their 20s.
Meanwhile I could never get good grades never could get in shape or focus on anything. Can’t even hold down a job. They said that I won’t have enough credits this year and I’m probably heading to a school to do other stuff to earn credits. And I’m probably gonna get kicked out of my highschool since I’m turning 18 in June and need to be mentally prepared and that I’ve brought this upon myself. They said they would understand more if I asked for help. But when ever I do we would just end up trying to figure it out for hours, then the name calling and yelling starts. And I just couldn’t do it this year.
I just feel like I’m not human sometimes. People have worked their entire lives about something they love, and I can’t even get 5 minutes in it. Honestly I feel like it got worse during this year specifically, my mom had to go to rehab center for her alcoholism while she trashed our house. I tried to stay strong but I started SF harming again to help cope. Hopefully I can stay off it this time. I have a screening for tm for medication for both adhd and ocd. My Nocd therapist even sent a recommendation for meds. I’m just hopping I can get through this honestly. Sorry if this sounds confusing. I honestly wrote this in a rush thank you and s sorry again

So I think somehow I managed arguably one of the best possible endings for Suzerain Kingdom of Rizia on my first playthrough attempt. I got Zille back peacefully by negotiation, I got Pales back by marrying Vina to their leader (although she got to keep the Toras name and pass it on), I created a constitutional monarchy, I formed the Intermerkopum Alliance, never fought a single war, I married Lucita and had a son, and managed to still keep my daughter as my heir. I ended the game by resigning of my own volition and living out my days in retirement.
I was honestly shocked by this, as I was really expecting a civil war or coup both when I pushed the democratic reforms and, when I survived that, when I kept my daughter as heir. My first playthrough of the base game I got killed in war with Rumburg, so my first attempt at Rizia was amazing in comparison.
I guess I'm just really shocked it all went so well. Reading through spoilers/other people's playthroughs after the fact, the craziest thing I seem to have done is that when Titus accused Lucita of assassinating the original king, I had him arrested. Apparently everyone thinks Titus is the best and normally super loyal, and it's just funny cause I haven't been able to find anyone else who made a post about arresting him. I know he wasn't the actual culprit, but I'm shocked that I managed to somehow arrest the one guy who seems genuinely loyal in this game and yet somehow end up with like the best ending. Go figure. Did anyone else arrest Titus, or did I just make the silliest possible choice and somehow not suffer for it?

Some were in the ceiling, some where in the roof... one was in the corner of every screen door and garage door for obvious small pet traffic (nicely chewed in). There were no holes in the bathroom!.... as in no holes for ventilation, so that was weird.

4 reflections on my reign

1. Had to be cautious about respecting the three Houses and not letting history get in the way of pragmatism - e.g. returned Zille to House Sazon and ended Angelica’s exile; on the other hand, fired Duke Rico as governor of Iza and gave central government oversight of the city due to his awful leadership.
2. Was mindful of the importance of the international community and how they’re important to Rizia’s prosperity - e.g. looked for co-operation in the Aureus gas field and called off my naval blockade despite failed negotiations with Duke Reinhart. Didn’t want to look aggressive on the world stage, and made sure to look diplomatic when under the spotlight.
3. Acted like a monarch and not a president (e.g. sought to preserve the monarchy and balanced change with maintaining crown authority) - e.g. offered a pathway to citizenship for the many foreign immigrants in Rizia, especially after Zille rejoined the Kingdom. Didn’t abolish the House of Delegates. However, broke up most protests to maintain order. This balance put me squarly in the middle of the political compass.
4. How energy production can take you half-way to a superpower: expanded our existing gas fields and won half of the rights to the Aureus gas field, giving Rizia a substantial energy reserve. This was central to founding the Intermerkopum Alliance, alongside having a strong budget (partly due to selling this energy). These resources were invested into the alliance, giving our neighbours no doubts about joining. Note the other half of the Aureus gas field came under Rizia’s control after reunifying with the Pales.

Other things to note

• I lived with a limp (catching Lucita when she fell from a tree only reminded me of this - ouch!)
• Acted on my promise to increase funding to education and healthcare after listening to the concerns of protestors
• Decreed Tenant Protection Laws after recognising the fragile position of tenants in the Kingdom
• Through cunning diplomacy, bought Lespia’s share in the nationalised MITZ
• Returned the Kingdom’s share in Rizian Royal Gold to 45% after making a deal with Rusty - improved worker’s rights in all industries except mining (public explanation: mining gold requires an exception due to its unique role in our culture and economy)
• Didn’t pass the Sovereign Transition and Clemency decree - I was in charge of internal security during my father’s reign and I wasn’t going to begin my reign by setting criminals free, regardless of tradition
• Swallowed my pride by giving President Smolak my mother’s childhood home to get Zille back QUICKLY
• I never remarried
• This was all on my FIRST play through!

This happened many years ago I think I was 11 at the time. Technically this would be more of a wrong person story than wrong number but same concept. So for context both of my parents are physicians. This story involves my mom ( who I will just refer to as Dr mom during the call for privacy protection) myself and the person on the end of the phone ( I didn’t catch her name so I will just call her patient ). So first I gotta make clear that I in no way am trying to blame anyone for this this was an honest mistake. Akward at the time but funny now. I should also note that apparently sometimes my mom and I sound alike on the phone so it could be that this was this patients first time talking to my mother on the phone. Point is this mistake could’ve happened to anyone .
So on this particular day my mother was on call and she had told me she was expecting a call from a patient and she didn’t want to miss it. Now I’m not sure how this happened, maybe patient ended up calling earlier than expected idk. But either case my mom’s phone goes off and at the time she was not in the room with it. Now I will say I honestly don’t remember if she had asked me to answer the phone and bring it to her if she wasn’t in the room with it or I did so voluntarily but I’m guessing it was the 2nd. So anyway I answer the phone with the intention of saying along the lines of “ hello, I’ll take you to my mother hang one one sec please ( yes I know tacky but I wasn’t trained still not to take those kind of calls it was best I could come up with, and of course I had no way of knowing for sure if this was the patient mom was expecting the call from ) . So I answer the phone but all I get to say is “ hello” then the following happens
Patient: Dr mom , my ( insert medical talk that I did not understand at all and even if did wouldn’t put for privacy reason)
Me: uh ma’am I
Patient : I need you to listen!! ( medical talk continues )
Now again I have no judgement and especially looking back now I imagine this woman was honestly scared and though I don’t know what she was saying if she felt something was severely wrong i absolutely understand why she would be frantic and honestly I’m sure if I could have offered help I would have but of course the best I could’ve said was “ use a bandaid “ ( which I did not say )
So meanwhile while she is trying to explain this medical thing that’s happening that i dont understand I’m searching around the house for my mom and im not finding her. Periodically I’d trying to say “ ma’m im not the doctor , my mom is the doctor i can give the phone to her “ but the lady was still frantically saying “ i need you to help “ etc . By this point this had been going on for I wanna say at least 5-10 minutes. Finally I found my mom I don’t remember where and I go “ mom “ with the look on my face of “ help me “ and the lady finally realized she was talking to the wrong person. She said oh im so sorry I said it was ok ( I’m pretty sure she figured out that I didn’t know what she was talking about ) and my mom took the phone and everything worked out. But that’s my wrong number ( technically right number wrong person) story

My ex and I dated long distance for 4 years. When we first got together, we were both coming out of marriages of close to 20 years. Both of us only had a few dates with others before we became monogamous. She was/is really fit for our ages (late 40s at the time) and she bragged to me that one of her dates was with a 28 year old guy. She also joked that I ruined her plans of becoming a cougar since she was in a dead bedroom marriage for a long time. Our relationship was amazing at the beginning.
Early in our relationship she told me a friend/acquaintance (not super close) invited her on a trip to Europe. It was a work trip for this friend/acquaintance (she works for Fortune 100 company) so my GF only had to pay for her airfare and food. I told her that is exciting opportunity but secretly my jealous side didn't like it. She went ahead a got a plane ticket.
A couple weeks later more info trickles out. This friend who is married has a crush on a coworker in Europe and she is going there to visit him. Then it comes out that my GF and her friend were invited to stay at this guys villa along with his friends. I get jealous and told her I didn't like the idea of her staying with strange men but the choice was ultimately hers. I probably used some language that made her feel guilty. She meets with the friend to discuss and it comes out that the married friend has slept with this co worker before. My GF decides not to go on this trip and this friend fades away from my GF's life. Again they weren't close to begin with.
Before our break up I noticed her behavior change and mentioning different guys names. She then dumps me and gave me various reasons for the break up. She even mentioned how "I didn't allow" her to go to Europe from 4 years early. I said I just didn't think the trip was appropriate.
Was I wrong to play a strong hand regarding her going to Europe? I am supposed to trust right?
Do you think she likely regretted getting into a relationship soon after the divorce and not dating around that pushed her to dump me especially since she was probably getting attention from these guys she mentioned.

I am 5 months post surgery. Recovery is going well. Although my knee doesn't feel completely stable the last time I was at the doctor he told me that it is fine and that the reconstructed acl per say extends alot on lachman test but so does on my other leg so he marked it as okay. Well today I must have stepped funny or pivoted and i felt a sharp pain. Like my knee or to be exact femur slightly slipping out of joint I just threw myself to the ground like I always did trying to prevent damage(I used to play soccer with no acl for a long time and i kind of mastered that move😅) Anyways I didn't hear a pop and the pain wasn't even close to as bad when i tore it. Now few hours have gone by my extension is normal and on flexion at about 130 degrees theres really really minor pain. But overall the knee is not swollen and everything seems to be intact. Do you think feeling a little bit of pain on flexion is actually a good sign my acl is still there? Do you think it might be my lateral meniscus that gave out since I had meniscus stitched up. What are the chances I actually re tore it again?

My SS13 and I haven’t had the easiest road. I have been dating his father for about a year and half. His son lives with him full time. He doesn’t like his mother and his mother doesn’t like him. My SO has three other kids with BM and those kids get along fine with her and we split 50/50 custody. I also get along great with them. The issue is the full time son. I met him about 3 months into dating my SO and he has been very vocal from the start he doesn’t like me or want me there. I understood it because he had his dad all to himself most of the time. My SO had just gotten a CO for 50/50 for the other children so it was just him and his dad the biomom kept the other children from him as much as she could and why he got the CO. It was a strange dynamic where she basically gave him one kid and kept the other 3 from him. The SS13 has improved a lot with me. He no longer screams in my face, calls me names to my face or balls his fist up at me. We all still know he doesn’t like me but it’s like he’s given up on running me off. My issue is I just don’t really like him now. I feel awful for it. Everything he does annoys me. He can breath and it annoys me and I know this is so unfair to him. I hate feeling this way and really very badly want to feel loving towards him. He is definitely worthy of love and a overall good child. Just stuff that’s happened in the past has left me with anxiety around him. I am looking for advice how I can let it go and move forward. We may never be best friends but I shouldn’t loathe his existence. It’s not fair to him. Can anyone who’s been in this situation and it got better offer any advice?
Edit: I also want to add, I am kind to him but he has to be able to feel how uncomfortable I am around him and it makes me feel horrible, especially when we have the other 3 and I feel much more comfortable around them

My sister (37/f) recently broke up with a long term partner (6 years) and got on some dating apps. She is a smart, funny and bubbly person and landed dates easily, and decided to pursue things with a seemingly charming, great man (35/m).
Long story short, they became exclusive after 5 dates. On the 6th date they were drinking a bit and he began confessing things like: the country he said he's from, he's not from and he grew up in an entirely different place. He also lied about his race/ethnicity claiming that he has experienced racism in the past (he's Iranian and pretended to be Turkish). She told me this a couple weeks ago and I said... too many red flags.
Later on, my mom and I, the internet sleuths we are googled him based on some other suspicions. We found his linkedin information that shows a different but similar name, shows that he is 10 years older than he actually is, and no sign of the very prestigious college he claims to have a PhD from. I sent a bunch of screen shots to my sister with this info, and she confronted him and blocked him. Thought that was the end of that.
A week ago I found out she's back with him. They had met up, talked about it and he admitted to everything - he lied about his age because he didn't want to seem too old to start a family, he did "research" at the school he said he got a PhD from so he said that wasn't a "full" lie, and he lied about his background due to fearing potentially stalking. She wants to take it slow with him and thinks he's genuine and just needs understanding. All of this sounds like a bunch of BS and I'm really really worried for my sister.
She has ALWAYS wanted a family and kids. I got engaged at the end of last year and since that point, it seems like she's made it a mission to find a husband and have kids ASAP. Not saying its because of my engagement, but, she started going on dates every single night after I got engaged after having not been on any apps prior. I fear she is settling on a narcissist or sociopath who love bombed her for weeks and she doesn't see a way forward with having a family if she dumps him. What advice would you have for an older sister in this position? I know there is nothing I can do, but is there anything helpful to say?

I know this gets brought up a lot, but I figured this was fine since everyone has a different theme for their channel.
I am not creative when it comes to naming things (which is funny because I'm very creative with other things that are more visual/colors/etc) and need help coming up with 3 twitch sub names! My theme in a nutshell: colors red purple and black, hints of black and white checkered pattern, Red roses, Ghost with a red bow being kind of a channel mascot.
